  • Serene place. Wish I had time to use the gorgeous pool! Holly was so nice and communicative. She answered incredibly promptly and made sure I would be taken care of if I needed anything, which I didn't. Her place is perfectly stocked and lovely.

  • Paradise. The photos do not capture the beauty of the home and property. This is a true retreat. My husband and I had been traveling for a number of days before arriving at Holly's home. The pool, comfy outdoor furniture and the gorgeous lodging were all spectular. But meeting the hosts, chatting with Holly and conversing about history with Wayne, were the lighlights of our stay. Holly and Wayne, You were as gracious as you were accommodating! Mary and Robert

  • My quick get away from home. Holly and her hubby make you feel right at home. Everything is super clean. Won't mind moving in permanently if I could :). Thank you for a wonderful experience. What you see is exactly what you get. EXCELLENT.

  • Killer views, A great host, great value. Tom is a very engaging host who strives to please his guest. Highly recommend Tom's place and his dogs.

  • Tom was an amazing host. So hospitable. And he's right... perfect place to watch the sunset. I highly recommend Tom's place.

    ashley2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • It is an honor to be the first airbnb guest to stay here. I feel as I've discovered a hidden treasure, and as Tom learns more about hosting and brings to fruition all the plans he has for improving his place, the rest of the airbnb world will soon know Tom's hospitality and what a wonderful place this is. The view of the 600+ acre lake is tremendous, and one will be very hard pressed to find a better spot in all of Peachtree City for taking in the sunset than the hot tub that looks out across a lovely backyard and the lake waters. The bed is comfortably soft, thanks to a foam pad. The room used to be his son's, so it currently has an awesome space shuttle wallpaper that glows in the dark! Of course, not everyone appreciates that kind of awesomeness, and Tom is considering renovating to a more neutral decor, so better enjoy that wallpaper while you can. Tom's home is a great base for enjoying all that Peachtree City has to offer, plus for exploring the quaint nearby town of Senoia (center of "The Walking Dead" universe). The Atlanta airport is a 40-minute drive away, and downtown Atlanta an additional 10 minutes by car north of the airport. Tom's two dogs are large, but after the initial loud barking, Podges and Ellie are calm, friendly, and will even offer you their seats on the living room sofa. Their doggie neighbors will occasionally drop by in the evening to play with them in the backyard. (Tom's home may be new to airbnb, but the place is already popular on the DOGbnb network!) This is truly a special place, and I look forward to my next stay here.

  • This is an absolute one of a kind place to stay. The house, views, and host are all amazing. Tom is an amazing host with everything especially communication back and forth. I stayed for 2 months while I was completing a summer internship and truthfully Tom, Julie, as well as the family and friends made me feel as if it was home away from home for my entire stay. I cannot thank them enough for all they did. I would highly recommend this to anyone:)

  • Cozy on Crosstown worked out very well for us. Easy to find. Devon was SO easy to work with! Very responsive! A couple things that others might want to know: there were not many pots and pans if you plan on cooking (though electric appliances galore--toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, etc.), and the mattresses were a little soft for our taste. There was a packNPlay in one closet which came in handy for a visiting grandchild to use for her nap.

  • We were so thankful to find a spacious home for our family and be so very close to everything! I have only positive things to say about Devon, he was a great host! He took the time to give us a lot of information that we needed about PTC and quickly responded when we asked additional questions. Right when we arrived he even offered up another contact in the event he could not be reached, that goes above and beyond!

    Diane2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Devon's place was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. There was even a cute screened in porch area. Check in was a breeze. Communication was efficient and clear. Our small teen Girl Scout troop did not spend a lot of time in the house due to scheduled activities, but the girls enjoyed the space so much that they are considering requesting it again next year but for a longer stay. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. I highly recommend Devon's place for future travelers in the area.

    Cozy On Crosstown
    41 reviews
A 2000 square foot apartment tucked away in the small town of Grantville GA, USA. This renovated section of a 100 year old building is equipped with a full kitchen, laundry room, game room, 5 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and is located adjacent to "Morgan's" apartment made famous in the Walking Dead's "Clear" episode. Just a 30 minute drive from other exciting filming locations, Grantville is the perfect place to get away and enjoy a little post apocalyptic fun!
In a post apocalyptic world you discover an old abandoned building left behind by Morgan after a visit from his friend Rick. Luckily, Morgan has "cleared" the building of walkers for a bite free experience, or has he? This apartment is MASSIVE, leaving many shadows for walkers to lurk. Great news, though! You will find the facilities quite accommodating for apocalyptic times as it has hot running water, electricity and, on most days, internet! The apartment across the hall from where you will be staying has been recreated as it was in Season 3 Episode 12 of The Walking Dead also known as the "Clear" episode. Grantville has also been used in several movies such as Dumb and Dumber 2, Term Life, Lawless, Broken Bridges and more! Includes Pots, Pans, Utensils, Plates, Cups, Coffee Pot, Cream and Sugar, and Towels. Also has a TV with Direct TV. We also provide two box fans as we know some people like fans when they sleep!
Grantville is a sparse little town with liquor stores and a Dollar General. There is a small family ran pharmacy downstairs from the apartment.
  • Jim was very prompt on answering my phone call when I realized I was going to be checking in later than expected. Mary met us at the apartment later. She was very informative and entertained us with stories about locations in Grantville. The whole experience was fun and easy!

    Teresa2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying in this apartment! Perfect for any fan. We all had our own bedrooms (4 adults) and loved having the space. The furniture in the living room is particularly comfortable. A great place to stay if you are a fan and want to see all of the filming locations, or if you just want a relaxing stay in a small town.

    Emma2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was great! The place was beautiful and great experience staying at a show set. Located close to Senoia, GA it's a must do for any The Walking Dead fan!!! Will be doing it again!!

  • As a Waking Dead fan, this was the perfect place to stay. One of the tours we took actually brought us back to the apartment for the tour. LOL! The apartment is huge and would easily accommodate a large group. I would definitely stay here again!!

    Jana2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • The host was very friendly and showed us around. Explained the rules thoroughly. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. At night the only thing was a little bar type place is open and people hanging around. As I came home after dark during my stay I noticed this. Never heard anything once inside the apartment. Nothing but positive things other than that. Im a single mom who was with my son, so it probably wouldn't have bothered me if I had been traveling with others or a husband. Loved having full amenities help cut cost and so convient. Loved having full access to Morgan's Place! Such an amazing experience for the Big Walking Dead Fan! Wish they had cable along with the Netflix. But Netflix was all that was available. Thanks so much for having this available. Would love to come back again!

The Redhat Room is 1 of 2 available BRs in our 1922 Colonial Revival home on 2 acres downtown Thomaston. It is a nice size BR on the 2nd Fl with a full BA & closet. Just across the hall is a 2 room lounge for your enjoyment. Ms. Annie's is a gentle & peaceful home.
A nice size upstairs bedroom with a queen bed and private full bath. Very clean with nice fresh linens and towels. Shower curtains, rugs and all bed clothes are laundered between guests. The bathroom is thoroughly cleaned and both rooms are swept, mopped and dusted between guests. You will be staying in a very clean room. There is a set of stairs leading down to the side yards just outside the two rooms. The 1st and 2nd floors have fire & carbon monoxide alarms. Inside access is through the back entrance from the private off street parking area.
Our home is totally fenced in with the exception of the driveway. There is a dentist office on one side of us and a private home on the other (the two homes are separated by a 6 ft wooden fence). We are on US-19S (same as N. Church St.) up on the hill across from Holloway Tire if you are familiar with Thomaston.
  • A great place to stay.

  • Beautiful period home and a wonderful host!! Communication was great and Roger really is the most genuinely lovely guy. The house is amazing; so clean and comfortable. Roger had put a bottle of wine in the fridge for us and we were presented with chips and guacamole when we arrived. The bed was extremely comfortable and there are so many thoughtful details which makes this place so special. Roger was extremely helpful and accommodating, and he let us use his washer and dryer. There was coffee, fruit, juice and yoghurts for our breakfast and Roger and Jay are very respectful of your space but equally open to conversations. It was also a bonus to meet lovely Eli, their rescue dog. We want to come back!!

    Gunn and Mo2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Such a wonderful time with Roger and Jay! I needed to take some time for myself before the holidays and get a break from the hustle and bustle of work. Roger, Jay, and Ms Annie's completely delivered. Roger was kind enough to drive me to a nice restaurant for dinner where we chatted as if we were old friends. The very aura of Ms Annie's is one of love, acceptance, and comfort. From a stocked fridge to the best stories about the house and city, Roger was an amazing host, storyteller, and friend. I look forward to my next visit and can't say enough good things about this place. Definitely, definitely worth a visit.

    Trice2016-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • I feel very privileged to have stayed in this lovely home, full of character and history. Roger is a delightful host and has thought of everything to make a stay here comfortable and relaxing. There are gorgeous soaps and candles and fluffy towels in the bathroom and coffee, bottles water and fruit juices in the fridge. Roger left fresh fruit (even kiwi fruit for this Kiwi) and yogurt, sweets and even went to the trouble to buy pastries from the local baker. The accommodation is spacious and private and separate from the host living quarters. Roger allowed me to do my laundry and was available for interesting conversation about the house, the town and the area which I enjoyed. The house has a lovely garden and there are two sun rooms to sit in - wifi is excellent.

    Donna2016-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Roger for the warm welcome, warm stay and being exceptionally attentive and kind every moment along the way. You allowed me to feel safe and exhibited just the right amount of privacy. The property was quiet and serene, with the perfect touch of history that Ms. Annie's represents. Your home is absolutely beautiful. It exceeded my expectations of the "old home" comfort, in addition to the perfect amount of class. I look forward to seeing you, Jay and Rocky again in the near future! God Bless you all.

    Stephanie2017-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • I came to this beautiful, beautiful “home” in need of refreshment for my very soul. I shall carry the experience of it forevermore. My trip previous and right up to my stay there was fraught with complications beyond belief, but the moment that I stepped into this private sanctuary all that changed. This is a true home, you are wrapped up in a feeling of safety and beauty that simply cannot help but to restore your heart, regenerate your creative spirit, unfettering all the little the webs our minds cannot help but accumulate through the course of this life. The home and grounds are transparently a true labor of love. I have not slept in a more comfortable bed, using the best of linen, or wrapped up in fluffier towels. This home pulls you right back into a simpler, more genteel and lovely time, where people actually cared for one another, and took care of one another. I immediately treasured the essence of Roger, the moment I first met him. He is truly a Southern Gentleman. His knowledge of the history of the home, the grounds, the town, the (URL HIDDEN) well as all things current, make him a genteel and fascinating conversationalist and a wealth of information on just about anything. There is an 2nd floor outdoor staircase near my room, totally private overlooking the side and back yard wildlife and (URL HIDDEN) room and this hidden piece of heaven were "my" sanctuary. Everything was immaculate but totally without pretension. The sitting room right across the hall is spacious and well appointed, with coffee and a selection of tea available. There was complimentary fresh fruit and fruit juice, applesauce and a misc treats! You are free to use 2 of the 3 sun-rooms (one is the private creative processing lab of the resident creative genius!), and to wander around the grounds and gardens (try the bench swing in "J's" recently uncovered historical rose gardens!). The grounds are like the home, profuse, quiet natural beauty...not manicured...real. The town itself offers all you could want in a getaway, excellent seafood, Mennonite Deli and everything in between, just ask Roger he'll steer you right. If you are an antique enthusiast bring extra cash...there are some hidden stores chock full of everything and anything imaginable. The intrinsic value of staying at a personally owned home of this quality, the safety factor, the unexpected amenities, the ongoing feast for the eyes and the senses, companionable company if you so (URL HIDDEN) this rate, versus hotel rates of the same amount or even much, much higher goes without saying. May I never sleep in another hotel again! This I leave you with; I did not come here to be "entertained," I came to be utterly refreshed, to reignite my joy, passion and creative spirit, to prepare for the next chapter. Mission accomplished my new friend Roger...mission accomplished...I'll be in touch, for I know, I, for one...will be back! Vaya Con Dios ~ RitaJoy!

This is a modern, clean apartment. Provides its own bedroom (with a queen bed), living room, full kitchen, full bath, and sitting room. The apartment has its own private entrance, with plenty of parking. The sitting area is large enough for the available air mattress to accommodate additional guests. The full kitchen includes cooking hardware, utensils, dishware, microwave, stove, oven, full sized refrigerator, coffee pot, and dishwasher.
Our property is recent construction and surrounded by numerous The Walking Dead filming locations. It is five miles from downtown Senoia; home to restaurants, shopping, and the main filming location of Alexandria\Woodbury, featured on The Walking Dead.
The apartment is on 14 acres of beautiful land. It is secluded off the road, providing a quiet relaxed environment.
  • Amazing place and even more amazing hosts!! This is in the country, and we loved it! The pool was heaven sent and added so much to our trip. The amenities available were great. Air conditioner and fans keep the place nice and cool. We didn't have the best phone reception (Alaska cellular phone services) but the wifi made up for it! Highly recommend this place and when we come back will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough for it be available.

  • ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! This is going to be extremely hard to put into words. We have never ever meet more wonderful family and such a sweethearts of people in entire life, i have traveled a lot and i have stayed in many 5* hotels but if everyone is like this guys I would have never ever stayed in hotel again. They made us feel better then home we felt their soul and hearts and became friends forever. We were evaluating Florida and in all this catastrophe we have found blessing being their guests, they have left apartment in perfect condition with anything you can think off starting from coffee, shampoos, towels... and a beautiful present for our baby boy we came late and they didn’t have any problem with us checking in so late, they were full of understanding and kindness that i have never seen before in my life!!! When we woke up Brian was already there and putting cables so i can charge my car, all this is understatement how we have been treated and how great time we had staying with them. This is new level in vacationing, for us it started as an evacuation but it turnd out to be one of the best nature reconnecting vacation in life where we ended up with friends for life. • Brian and Jule's place is exactly as advertised and maybe even better. The condition was beyond clean, with everything actually appearing brand new. Directions were perfect and check-in was seamless. The area is beautiful and I definitely could have stayed a week longer. Very comfortable and peaceful! When Brian stopped by the first night to make sure we had everything we needed it was like seeing an old friend. He and Jules are lovely people and will make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend their place!

    Connie2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is definitely not worth the price he charges and had a very bad experience trying to check into this place. 1) He had told me someone was there and they would let me in, after ringing door bell and knocking, no answer. 2) After having to travel to reach him because of very bad cell phone reception (and I have Verizon), he told me the door code to enter was in the description (which it was not) and then messages it to me. The door code did not work. I had spent a good 1 1/2 to 2 hours traveling out to reach him and then travel back for things to not work. 3) This place is in the middle of no where and very bad cell reception. He offers wifi but not sure on how good it is. 4) Not worth the price he is charging. I highly urge anyone looking at this place to not go here. Not worth the trouble to go through.

  • Brian's apartment was just perfect and he was the perfect host as well.

    Marilyn2017-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for us. The surrounding country and property is beautiful, and the apartment is very comfortable and incredibly clean. Brian and Jules were the perfect hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again.

We are located across the street from Alexandria of Walking Dead fame. We see tours every day filled with "Walker Stalkers" visiting different shooting locations in town.
The house was one of the first built in the city, in 1889. The room is classic - from the wood-panelled 10 foot ceilings to the old floors, wainscoting and the tapestry above the fireplace, it is clearly a historic room. It is also large enough for a king size bed, an air mattress and extra space for a sitting area. We have included a small refrigerator, a microwave and a Keurig Coffeemaker in the room as well, but you are within easy walking distance of several breakfast spots and restaurants in downtown Senoia. Our 2 acre property is covered in gardens, and also still has the original kitchen outbuilding built in the late 1800's as well. One thing to note: this room does not have a shower - but does have a large jaccuzzi tub.
Our neighborhood is a charming, walkable community. We are part of historic downtown Senoia, and are less than 2 blocks from Main St. We are known for the "Walking Dead" of course, and are located a stone's throw from the Alexandria set, but the town offers a wonderfully charming intimate experience for couples and families. In town there are several streets of historic homes, and dozens of restaurants and shops - and there are a number of day trips and excursions, and we can direct you to numerous bike loops and trails.
  • Ric and Sophia's place is awesome and so close to everything you'd want to see in Senoia. Ric was very welcoming and we got to meet their three sweet dogs and some of their cute cats. Ric even let us keep our plug-in fridge in the room after check out while we went on a Walking Dead tour. Highly recommended!

    Heidi2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • The place has a very nice location. There is a lake nearby and walking trail as well and of course if you are a fan of walking dead you will love this place. Just note that the main door does not have a lock from outside so you will have leave it unlocked while you go out.

We fell like at home but in a dream life. A lot of love in this house. Definitely, the ultimate airbnb experience. Thank you Melissa and David. We miss you.

  • We loved staying with Melissa, David and the boys. They are warm and friendly, easy to talk with and they make you feel like family. Theirs listing is as described. Clean, beautiful home, super safe area, self serve coffee and snacks, and best of all a private bathroom. You will love it here. Thanks so much!

  • This was my second time staying at the Coppage Airbnb, and it was just as fabulous as the first time. Their house is beautiful, and the room I stayed in was very comfortable with its own private bath. It was great seeing their two sweet dogs again, who I'm pretty sure remembered me from the last visit due to the amount of puppy kisses I received. :) I love how close and convenient their house is to Main Street (just a short car ride). And I loved getting to visit with Melissa and David again, who are the kindest people you'll ever meet. I highly recommend their place to anyone who visits Senoia and loves The Walking Dead!

  • Myself and my two girlfriends had a wonderful stay and couldn't have picked a better location for visiting Senoia and the Walking Dead locations! Our hosts thought of everything, from HBOGO to watch Game of Thrones!!... to a Blue ray player with dozens of movies... to coffee and creamer and everything you might need to bake a cake! The house was immaculate, the beds comfy and the sunsets spectacular over the lake! We were even fortunate enough to meet our hosts, Joel and Kathy, who are just lovely people. This was, by far, one of the best vacations of my life! Thank you Joel & Kathy!! We are already making plans to come back!

This room is one of two rooms we rent out in our historic (1889) home in downtown Senoia. We are steps away from everything downtown - including the "Alexandria" set from the Walking Dead.
We refer to this bedroom as the "Yellow Room". It is a private room with its own bathroom (shower), and is located in the center of the house. It is cheery, and is large enough for a queen size bed and a small seating area.
Senoia is gorgeous, and has an intimate walkable downtown feel. Most of our guests will park their cars (or get dropped off) and then walk everywhere. We are steps from the "Alexandria" set from the Walking Dead. The Senoia Area Historical Society is a very active social group and a great way to meet your neighbors if you are thinking of moving in. Senoia really does have a genuine small town feel, and a lot of the neighbors really do know each other.
  • my husband and I spent 2 days in this property. Ric and Sofia are amazing people. we felt very comfortable. the first night they invited us to do marshmallows on the fire, and as a Brazilian, it was a very nice experience. they have very friendly dogs also. tge room was clean and with a very beautiful vintage decoration.

    Patricia2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Ric and Sophia's house is absolutely gorgeous and they are a lovely couple who did everything they could and then some to ensure my stay was as good as it could be. I cannot recommend them highly enough! If you're a TWD fan you'll be in TWD heaven and if you're not then you will be in your own country heaven. I didn't spend enough time there but I would definitely return if I could in the future.

  • Great historical home within walking distance of downtown Senoia! A must if you are looking for a place to stay, especially if you are visiting because of The Walking Dead. Many houses surrounding it are used in the show and are part of the tours they give. Cant wait to visit again and hopefully be able to book this same house!

    Amanda2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Ric and Sophia are just wonderful people. So welcoming, kind and helpful. Beautiful room, beautiful house and just a great atmosphere. Definitely enjoyed relaxing on the front porch with all their sociable and sweet pets.

  • So it was the first time my fiancé and I have ever stayed at an air bnb. I must say Ric and Sophia made us feel so at home! Their cats and dogs are so friendly. Just really amazing people. Just a bonus it's in Senoia, Ga where they film The Walking Dead. So if you are in the area. You love TWD, also enjoy small little towns, and wanna stay?! Deff stay at Ric and Sophia's house. You won't regret it. We can wait to go back and deff stay with them again. Thanks again for everything!

This quaint home was built in 1953 and we have designed it as a quiet getaway spot for our family. The Killian family has ties to the local history and FDR in Warm Springs. Now we are opening it up for others to enjoy. We want to thank our guests for making a breakout year at the Killian House. We had a visit from Sam Killian III the son of the builders of the house. We had a writing group with published authors, three wedding parties, families of graduates, history buffs, and just great people.
The Killian House Retreat is perfect for Girl's weekend getaways, Wedding parties, Family gatherings, Couples getaways, Historical explorations, Golf outings and Hiking adventures. The house is 1900 sq/ft and sits on a secluded 1.5 acre wooded lot on top of a hill above Warm Springs GA. We have seen deer, fox, and the always entertaining squirrels on the property. The tree surrounded lot is perfect for star gazing. Common Areas Cozy new furniture fills the rooms for long conversations or napping. The dining room seats 8 for candlelit dinners. The Den table is ready for snacks, games, and puzzles. Sit on the front porch with your morning coffee and watch the sun come up. The outdoor grill can prepare a large meal or just use the fire pit to roast marshmallows. Grab a snack and head to the back porch to talk and laugh as the sun sets. Killian House Retreat is the perfect quiet place to finish that research paper, work project, craft project, or wedding plans. There is plenty of room for private small retreats for work, school, or church groups. Kitchen The 50's style kitchen is newly updated but reminds you of Grandmother's warm reception in her favorite spot. Bake your own cookies or have wine from the local winery with cheese to relax in comfort. Entertainment We have chosen not to have a TV in the Killian House Retreat. We use the house as a place to unplug, rejuvenate, and renew communications with each other. However, there is killer wifi with easy access all over the house. We created a blank wall and provided an easy to use video projector to experience that special movie, game, or cat video together. Surrounding Activities We are 15 minutes from Calloway Gardens with an easy drive to Pine Mountain. Many adventures await such as: Christmas Fantasy in Lights, golf, hiking, Gardens, Water ski events, Lakefront beach, Butterfly Gardens, and Treetop challenge course, biking, canoeing, and live raptor shows. FDR's Little White House is 1 minute away just down the hill. The historic pools that helped FDR refocus his life before his political career are at the bottom of the hill below his house. Take a tour of the Warm Springs Winery. The featured local wines are made from Scuppernong and Muscadine grapes. Taste the unique pepper infused "Hotlanta" wine. The Roosevelt State park borders the property. There are over 40 miles of trails in the park. Many trails lead to multiple waterfalls along the hike. Beginners to advanced hikers will enjoy the trails. The Liberty Bell Pool is a great day of swimming after hitting the trails. Antique shopping is abundant in Warm Springs and the many surrounding small towns. Being further from a large city the "finds" are plentiful. Restaurants abound in the local area. While we lost our historic Bullock House building, the owners have opened again in an historic downtown building. The food is just as good and the genuine welcoming nature of Warm Springs is still alive. Mac's Bar B Que is a perfect southern fare. The Gardens Restaurant at Calloway is a beautiful night out. Only 30 minutes away the riverfront in Columbus GA offers 5 great restaurants along the beautifully restored walking park.
This home is a history buff's dream. We found that the dining room lamp is a Tesla patented lamp design. It was has an electrical kit to convert oil lamp parts. We estimate that it was originally sold in 1893. The front porch furniture is "Old Hickory" furniture from the 1920's originally built for the Meriweather Inn. The Inn was the first location of the Warm Springs Institute and later purchased by Roosevelt. There is an historic photo of Sam Killian Sr., the Mayor of Warm Springs and FDR during the early days of FDR's rehabilitation from polio. The home was built by his son Sam Killian Jr in 1953. The property adjoining the site is owned by the Alcorn family. FDR was to attend a BarBQ hosted by the Alcorn's the day he died. Located on the adjacent site are the charred remains of the Alcorn family home which was built with wood taken from the Meriweather Inn when it was dismantled.
  • Quaint, cozy and a great location. Check-in was easy, fast and we loved all of the information given about the history and local area attractions. Highly recommend!

    Robin2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Mark's place was comfortable and extremely spacious. I enjoyed that there were no TV's as it allowed for quiet reflection and reading. Be aware that this is a rural town, not a small city. That being said I enjoyed the property as well as the friendliness of the neighbors in the town.

    Elizabeth2017-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at the Killian House! We brought 2 families of 4 for a weekend trip to do some exploring at FDR state park. The adults took the rooms with the Queen beds while the kids slept in the rooms with twin beds. The kids loved exploring in the woods and playing with all the board games. We roasted marshmallows in their new fire pit. It was a lovely view to sip coffee to in the morning! We would definitely stay here again (hopefully stay a little longer next time!)

  • We had a wonderful few days in Warm Springs. The home and peaceful location exceeded our expectations. We had 8 family members gathered together comfortably including our 90 year old mother who was born and raised in nearby Columbus. The home was well appointed and it turned out we didn't miss the TV at all which was a good thing. Thanks to Mark for ensuring we arrived to the home and was in communication to be sure we were comfortable.

    Lane2016-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed two nights, the owners were great. Mark emailed me as soon as I booked to confirm and his wife Elizabeth text the day we arrived to greet us. She offered to remotely set the thermostat to make the house comfortable for us. The history of the house was provided and it was interesting. The place was quite and beautiful and the owners had many recommendations for sites and nearby restaurants. I would recommend the house for anyone who wanted to get away.

  • We loved our visit at QC Bunkhouse. We travel with my wife's family every year for her mother's birthday. This year, our trip was scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend. There are ten of us and the bunkhouse was perfect. We had Thanksgiving lunch at The Bulloch House in Warm Springs and visited The Little White House State Park. The drive was just 20 minutes. Callaway is only 35 minutes or so. We arrived, got in with no problems and Melanie was really prompt in communicating check-in instructions. The space was tidy and essentials were right there as we needed them. Melanie even showed up Thanksgiving evening to make sure we had what we needed and took care of one small issue while we were enjoying our day on Friday. She was terrific! Gay, GA isn't a destination city. But QC Bunkhouse is well worth the lovely drive to the country if you're traveling with a crowd. -- P. Williams, Claxton GA

A nice size upstairs bedroom with a double bed and private full bath. The 1st & 2nd floors have fire & carbon monoxide alarms.
  • HISTORIC HOUSE AND GROUNDS WELL ADVANCED IN RENOVATION. COMFORTABLE SPACIOUS LOUNGES AND SUN ROOM. WARM WELCOME. ROGER HAS THOUGHT ABOUT JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING.

  • We loved staying at Ms. Annie's. The grounds and house were beautiful, the handwritten welcome card was a lovely touch, and the price was unbeatable. Though Roger was out of town, Jay was very hospitable and was able to share about the town and the house itself. My husband and I had a relaxing time, even though it was just a quick trip. Bonus! Jay's recommendation to eat at the Georgia Avenue Cafe was a great one...good Southern food.

    Sally2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place to stay! Roger was kind and considerate of our needs. The place is clean and immaculate and very cosy. It is quiet and peaceful and we can truly rest after a days work! The rooms are spacious and very well decorated and there is a nice lounge where we can also rest and eat. Roger is a very caring and friendly host who also respects our intimacy! We definetly recomend Annie's House !

  • An absolutely wonderful process from start to finish. I travel quite a bit in "run of the mill" hotels - what a pleasure it is to be treated like family at Ms. Annie's! Roger is an amazing host, very thoughtful and courteous and welcoming. The house has amazing character and history, and is extremely well-maintained. This property and host both embody what the Airbnb experience should be!

    Ty2016-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • WONDERFUL STAY! The house is exactly as pictured. I stayed in the garden room which is beautiful and quiet, as the house is away from the road. It looked like the linens on the bed been ironed as they were fresh and smooth. Everything was clean, including the plants by the window! I enjoyed meeting Roger and Jake, and we had such nice conversations. The whole house and garden show the care they take with making their guests comfortable. I really appreciated the lounge upstairs where I could work at night on the big table with coffee right there. Highly recommended!

    Susan2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful home and wonderful host. I would highly recommend Ms. Annie's house to any traveler. The space was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The towels were the softest I've ever used! There are several beautiful spaces on the property to relax, from the garden lounge area downstairs to the beautifully maintained grounds, to the 2 room lounge across from your private room. Roger and Jay are as polite and accommodating as can be, while still giving you space and privacy. I will definitely return. Thanks again!

  • Mary Pat and Rick were great hosts. Staying in one of their 1885 cabins was awesome. The bedding was very comfortable, the grounds were spectacular and we felt very welcome. Wally and Georgia were very accommodating as well :) (make sure you lock the doors, the doggies know how to open them haha). They have really nice scrapbook on the table listing all the things to do in town including directions to restaurants. We enjoyed just walking around their pond and talking with the cows though. We didn't need or want for anything, we would highly recommend these cabins for a quiet getaway.

    Misti2015-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place to spend a few days! My kids are already wanting to go back. Place is as advertised. Fun rustic but yet still very comfortable place for our family to "unplug". Great setting to just be together as a family, enjoying each other in a rustic/farm/outdoor/cozy setting.

    Liz2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our family loved Mary Pat's place! The cabins were charming, rustic and very well equipped with everything we needed. Mary Pat and her husband were super friendly, welcoming and very responsive to any needs that arose. Our children just loved playing outside with the dogs and fishing in the pond!

    Margot2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • A very nicely restored historic property next to a wooded lakefront. Very quiet and peaceful. The cabin had all you would need to stay one or several days ( no TV but then again that's the purpose), just walk in with a bag of groceries! There's a covered dock at the lake with seating. Were going to keep this one on our favorites list.

  • Karen was easygoing and asked several times if I needed anything. The neighborhood was pretty, quiet, and accessible to everything I wanted to do. Karen is very personable and easy to talk with (as is her husband and dog Buddy). Karen even tried out an episode of the Walking Dead, as she knew I'm a fan! :)

    Alicia2016-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Karen and her husband were very freindly and accomadating, i recevied a warm welcome upon entering their home. The neighborhood is in an upscale private neighborhood surrounded with bustling forest and vivid pathways which provided a relaxing scenery to walk through. I had evacuated Florida with my dog due to hurricane Irma and booked a 3 day stay. Due to circumstances surrounding the aftermath it wasnt the best idea for me to return home so quickly. I spoke with Karen and communicated my situation and she was very understanding and allowed me to extend my days through the app. During my stay Karen and her husband offered me suggestions on things to do and places to eat which was very helpful. I recommend this airbnb if your looking for a quaint location with a good activities/comfort ratio, its also only about 35-40 mins away from atlanta if you wish to visit.

    Nyles2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Karen and her husband are very friendly. They are very easy to communicate with. Though It was short, I had a vey nice stay at their house. I would definitely recommend their place. If you're a Walking Dead fan, the location is perfect.

This is a walkout basement bedroom in a rural house. There is a sitting area adjacent and a microwave and dorm fridge is provided. This location is best suited for someone that wants to get away from the rat race for a while and just hunker down in the country. Also not far off the routes going N/S to Florida. The house is located on a gravel road about a mile off the pavement. The view entails trees, bushes and whatever wildlife happens to be passing by at the time. Scenic Highway 19 is nearby.
We have two outside dogs that are in a fenced area but are very friendly and love to play fetch. We cannot accommodate pets and have no animals in the house. Verizon cellphones work here. Other carriers are sketchy.
This is a sparsely populated area. Mostly forested with pine trees. Good opportunities for taking walks. A lot of movie filming takes place in this area due to its old south flavor.

Our amazing, private & furnished basement apartment boasts a full kitchen, bathroom, living area, bedroom & gym. It has 1 dedicated parking space & a private entrance. It's a very peaceful slice of heaven nestled in one of the best suburbs in the Atlanta metro area. There is access to our private Lake and Lake Horton just a few safe feet from the property. Only 40 min from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL) (w/o getting on I-75), 45 min from downtown Atlanta & 10 min from the ATL Motor Speedway!
This property is situated on Fayetteville Georgia's Lake Horton and Gypsy Lake. You have access to most of the basement: Living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and gym area. We have provided a Welcome Book for you on the table in the living room but you can also visit our RueBaRue page for more detailed information on the space, the property, and fun things to do around Fayetteville and the metro Atlanta area. The areas we wish you not to access in the apartment will be locked. You do not have access to our laundry room, however we are flexible with guests who book for at least one week and/or business travelers. On the RueBaRue page, I have placed the links to the two closest laundromats for all others. We have a small fishing boat, kayaks and life vests available but prefer the boats stay in the private lake behind our home and not on Lake Horton. Also, if fishing from the bank, please stay on our property.
The neighbor we live in is just off Brooks Woolsey Rd and is very quiet and peaceful. Our home is located between Senoia - THE HOME OF THE WALKING DEAD and PINEWOOD STUDIOS! You get the best of both worlds here! Quiet and peaceful when you need it with plenty of fun exciting things to do nearby. You can visit our virtual guestbook on RueBaRue that is loaded with many links to places we suggest for food, grocery, entertainment, parks, etc. around Fayette County and the Metro Atlanta area.
  • Julie was incredibly accommodating and kind. The apartment was very roomy with all the modern comforts one would ask for in a luxury hotel. With just a short commute to Atlanta along with access to a pool and beautiful lake, I would absolutely recommend Julia's apartment to anyone.

    Aly2017-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Julia's place was retreated, tranquil and serene, just want we were expecting. Away from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta, but yet a few miles from restaurants and attractions. Taking the back roads helped getting around traffic near that area. The space itself was comfortable and spacious. The work out room was a plus and the space lent itself well to just unwind after a long day. We were pleasantly surprised to see the extra amenities you provided in case we forgot some essentials, and thanks for the snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at your place, and next time, we will take the kayaks out. Thanks again!

It was nice to have somewhere to stay in Gay rather than having to drive to one of the larger cities. Very rural and quiet setting. Probably because I was there on a Monday night, I had the place to myself!

  • Spectacular! This place was perfect for what we needed. We traveled for a dog trial with our 15 year old daughter and her 2 Border Collies. The rooms were so comfortable and well appointed. Everything was very clean. It was like staying at our own home. Instructions were easy to understand and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. We will be back next year for sure. • Our stay at the Bunkhouse was a much needed get away. We were looking for a place on very short notice due to Hurricane Matthew. We contacted Melanie and she got back to us right away. We were traveling with our cat due to the evacuation and Melanie made an exception for us to have our cat with us. The Bunkhouse itself was clean and well furnished. There was a nice back deck overlooking the fields as well as a lovely pool. We had the place to ourselves. We had a small issue with the drain in our bathroom sink leaking but as soon as we informed Melanie she has someone out there right away to fix the issue. It was a quiet get away in the country!

    Diane2016-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • The bunkhouse was clean and neat. The beds were quite comfortable. It is very convenient to QC Arena, which is the most important factor for us. Melanie was responsive to requests during our stay. We'll stay there again on future visits to the area.

  • The cottage is adorable!! It looks like it is straight out of Southern Living magazine. It was clean and comfortable and the pool is so nice! The property around it is beautiful and the screened in front porch is a nice place to sit and enjoy it! Highly recommend!

  • We loved our stay at this lovely cottage. It felt like home! It is a perfect place to disconnect, relax and enjoy family time. My family and I would highly recommend a stay at the cottage to all our family and friends.

  • The farmhouse is located in a rural area. The area around the location is surrounded by pastures. This was the type of location we were looking for--quiet and serene.

  • I love the charm of this large cottage. The porches were a sanctuary of peace for me and my family. The pool was a salty refreshment, and pounce warmed our hearts.

  • The cottage was nice with beautiful yard and fields...very close to arena where Rosie event was taking place... Everything needed was provided in (URL HIDDEN) hassle trying to check in due to we arrived very late at night and was given door code and did not have to do anything else! It was great!

  • We had a very pleasant stay at QC Cottage while visiting the area for the holidays. The property was clean and welcoming. Everything we needed was available. This property would be great for a holiday event, a hunting trip or just a peaceful get away.
