We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. this railway was established in 1899 and abolished in 1945. This railway is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for max. 6 pers. Holiday home in the yard of a farmhouse with lots of privacy. It is located close to the forests where there are a beautiful swimming pool, hiking and biking trails. Gasselte is known for its many mountain bike routes. You look out from the terrace over the farms and in the summer the sheep walk with their lambs in the meadow. There is also a lovely dog Sjors, who you may also encounter. In the spring, a small café is open on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to approximately 11 p.m.
