“If you want to escape New York City, I enjoy going to Freeport Long island's Nautical Mile. It has a beautiful strip that has a lot of outdoor parties and seafood restaurants. It has a Miami feel as the beaches are nearby. It is about a 30-40 minutes drive or a train ride on the LIRR. Best times to go is around 3 PM on the Weekends.”

“Jeremy's is right on the Nautical Mile. It is definitely not the fanciest place, but if you want a quick cheap meal this is the place to go. Compared to most restaurants on the Mile, this seems to be the cheapest. It's mostly bar food that's pretty good! Don't be skeptical from the outside just walk on in and order your food at the bar and they will bring it to your table. They also have a outdoor deck eating area that's on the canal! Cheaper drinks as well*”

“This is a fun hangout! Bikerish, but friendly Otto’s offers indoor and outdoor dining and decent food. The outdoor area has two bars and a very small stage for the band. There’s even a dance floor. If you’re looking for nightlife give Otto’s a try.”

“Wonderful trail with great views of the bay. Also they have goats that you will see on the trail in the morning "mowing" the grass. There are also some birds that roam the grounds.”
