The room was what I expected, no frills but mostly clean and just what I needed for a quick weekend trip. The bed was really comfortable!
Mellissa2017-05-14T00:00:00ZThis was the perfect place for an overnight. Nothing fancy but for the price, very worth it. Clean, comfy bed, great shower and the breakfast was outstanding. No complaints whatsoever. Great Mexican restaurant right next door too!!
Cindy2017-05-06T00:00:00ZGreat place to stay! Breakfast included. Not far from Main St., good location. Will hopefully be back again!
Taylor2017-04-30T00:00:00ZThe place is as described. Basic essentials with convenient location. The pastries provided in the morning were a nice touch.
mihir2017-04-15T00:00:00ZVery clean, reliable, good location, friendly, simple but very comfortable and private.
Linda2017-04-09T00:00:00ZWe loved how quiet and clean the place was. We enjoyed sitting outside after dark on the back porch area. It was away enough from the street that you really couldn't hear the traffic. All in all it was a great place to stay and close to everything on Main Street.
Lauren2017-03-30T00:00:00ZNice, quiet, quaint room. Very clean, but if you need something fancy, this is not for you. Loved the location, and the service was great. The only real problem, was the mattress. Really needs to be replaced. We enjoyed how quiet it was, and where it was located.
Connie2017-03-26T00:00:00ZMatt's place is modest and small but extremely clean and the breakfasts were tasty, especially his rich coffee and fresh fruit. We would have appreciated a place for clothes, even hooks on the wall. Bed is comfy and super soft. The house is quiet and well located for visiting town. Parking out back felt safe which we appreciated as we had a car full of stuff. You can have access to the pool and hot tub at Econo Lodge across the street. We recommend Matt's place!

My wife loved the charm of the little cottage. The private porch provided a nice place for evening relaxation and morning coffee.
John2017-05-12T00:00:00ZWe came into town for my friend's wedding and stayed at the cottage. It was very clean, had nice little touches and was very conveniently located. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone looking to stay in Fredericksburg.
Chadwick2017-05-07T00:00:00ZThe place was exactly as described. It was cozy, but in the best way possible. Mike went out of his way to make it an enjoyable stay with all the little details. I will definitely consider staying there in the future whenever I find myself back in Fredericksburg.
Evan2017-04-30T00:00:00ZVery cute cottage that is within walking distance of Main Street. We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and had a great time!! Mike gave us some great recommendations for dinning/wine drinking. He also left muffins, cereal, and juice for us to enjoy in the morning. Overall great stay!
Kayla2017-04-24T00:00:00ZWe had a very pleasant weekend getaway at the Cottage on Hale. It's small, whimsical, clean, and comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood. Mike was an excellent host and provided many thoughtful amenities. He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and wineries. This is a great "home base" if you're looking to tour Texas wine country and want a cozy place to rest after a day of exploring. We would definitely stay here again!
Laura2017-04-22T00:00:00ZCute cottage!
Mary C2017-04-16T00:00:00ZMike's place was adorable and was a great spot close to wineries and downtown! He left us snacks, coffee, and great recommendations on restaurants too! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this cute cottage!
Leigh Ann 2017-04-09T00:00:00ZMike's little cottage was perfect for two, he gave us snacks and beverages! He had catering menus and many, many other food recommendation pamphlets! Little guides for Fredericksburg and more! The cabin was clean and orderly, almost walkable to downtown, but we drove instead. It was extremely private and no disruptions took place near the house. Don't doubt the recommendations he gives you, I've never had a better breakfast than at the cafe he listed. And his snack choices held us over the storm that blew in! Will return when I can!

My husband and I absolutely loved our weekend stay at La Paloma. It's a cute little house, extremely clean & comfortable, with beautiful & updated finishes and retro decor. There were homemade scones waiting for us, as well as yogurt, coffee, orange juice, bananas, water bottles, and granola bars - so great for breakfast and snacks! The bed is very comfortable, and there's a TV with DVD player if you'd like to enjoy a movie night. Wonderful place to stay.
Sarah2017-05-15T00:00:00ZLa Paloma is everything we could have wanted and more. We were able to get everywhere in just a matter of minutes and had such a cute space all to ourselves. Amie made us fresh bread one morning and my husband has not stopped talking about it. We would definitely love to come back and visit us Amie will have us! 10/10 all the way!
Jordan2017-05-09T00:00:00ZAmie's house is extremely close to everything. The house is really nicely decorated and the bed was really comfortable. We woke up to some delicious Blueberry bread that was promptly eaten. We would definitely stay here again. Less than a mile away from the 290 wine shuttle if that is on your agenda!
Deren2017-05-07T00:00:00ZPerfect location and decor was adorable! Amie thought of everything!
Brianna2017-04-30T00:00:00ZThe accommodations are wonderful -- lovely, tasteful decor, comfortable, immaculately clean, on a quiet street, some treats in the kitchen when we arrived and a freshly baked mini banana bread on our doorstep in the morning. Highly recommend this for both quality and value!
Judith2017-04-25T00:00:00ZAmie has a beautiful home, equipped with snacks, coffee, tv, and bikes for riding around town! She was right next door for anything we needed and was kind enough to leave delicious fresh bread on the porch in the morning. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Diego2017-04-23T00:00:00ZAmie is a great hostess. She provided just the right amenities to make my trip comfortable and enjoyable. The location of the home is central and extremely close to the shops and restaurants on Main. You will not be disappointed in this one bedroom home decorated with mid-mod decor, a great outdoor gathering space, centrally located, and friendly hostess all will make your visit memorable.
Jennifer2017-04-21T00:00:00ZSuch a great experience. The home was clean, eclectic, and central to everything. Amie was a fantastic host. Fredericksburg is already a fun location but staying at Amie's airbnb made the experience that much better!

Fantastic location. Easily walked to great spots on Main. Rustic cottage with lots of character. Would definitely stay again.
Eric2017-05-14T00:00:00ZThe cottage is such a great space in an ideal location. It is right off of Main Street and the shops, but still feels private and secluded. The cottage had plenty of space and we felt very at home there. The garden/outdoor space was an added bonus! Julie was very communicative and easy to work with. We look forward to visiting again!
Lindsey2017-04-16T00:00:00ZWonderful cottage in a great location. It is perfect for a couple looking for a getaway. Check in and out were very painless. We will definitely try to stay here again when we return.

Tracie 2017-03-19T00:00:00ZGreat location Loved the furnishings.
Sharon2017-03-16T00:00:00ZGreat cozy cottage a block away from Main Street. Located behind a larger house that rents as well. Outside areas for each of the separate rentals. Perfect place for a couple wanting to explore downtown Fredricksburg.

LANCE2017-04-23T00:00:00ZThis was my first time using the APP. We couldn't have started at a better place. Everything was great. Clean and neat. My wife and I loved it!
Mike 2017-04-09T00:00:00ZGreat place! This suite is luxurious with a fabulous bathroom and has everything needed for a relaxing stay. Good location right on Main Street, a short walk from the "strip". Street parking right outside the front door and covered parking at the rear of the property. When we arrived we thought street noise might be a problem but this is not the case, we slept great. Thank you Mrs. for a very enjoyable and hassle free stay. We'll be back!!
Steve2017-04-02T00:00:00ZGreat place to stay for 1 or 2 people for a quick weekend.
Jeff2017-03-27T00:00:00ZAdorable Haus stay was great! It was down on Main street where everything was walking distance. Host was amazing and greatly communicated with us during the stay. Definitely coming back!

Thoughtful top-notch host, adorable house, easy driving distance to Fredericksburg Main Street and/or wineries. There was nothing not to like about Sonny House. My friends and I agreed that we would LOVE to stay there again. Highly recommend.
Marissa2017-05-16T00:00:00ZThe house was perfect for my parents and I as it was quiet and comfortable.
Jennifer2017-05-14T00:00:00ZSerene and private location a few miles from downtown Fredericksburg. Comfortable beds good sized living room and kitchen. Would definitely stay at the Sonny house again!
Meredith2017-05-07T00:00:00ZDanas place was perfect! We had a girls weekend there and could not have been happier! The added extras are unmatched. We had mini muffin brownies and wine waiting for us when we arrived and breakfast was provided in the mornings. I would recommend her place to everyone and if we ever come back, we will be staying there!
Jennifer2017-04-23T00:00:00ZThank you to Dana and your family for such a wonderful stay!! Your place was very sweet with all the home comforts - you've put a lot of thought into what is needed in a home away from home! What a wonderful surprise upon arrival - amazing apple pie and wine! We very much enjoyed our breakfast each day - your mum is a wonderful cook! We really enjoyed the fire pit, bird watching and the balcony - thanks again, Deborah and family.
Deborah2017-04-17T00:00:00ZDana is The Hostess with the Mostest! We had a party of 4 adults. We had everything we needed and then some. The beds and bedding were comfy and cozy as was the living area. The wine we found to greet us upon arrival was from the very winery had toured that day, lol. Very nice touch! Though we only stayed 1 night we were treated to the whole enchilada.. snacks, fresh baked sweets, wine, a hot breakfast including a very nice helping of fresh berries, grapes, orange slices, and juice & coffee. There was more than enough food for the 4 of us. The men really enjoyed the front porch and the visit from a local humming bird. The filled bird feeders were awesome! Had we stayed longer we surely would have taken advantage of the fire pit. Thank YOU!
Cheryl2017-04-09T00:00:00ZSonny House was extremely accommodating of my needs! Perfect location! You get the relaxation and views of the true hill country while only being a 5 min drive to the shops on Main St and most attractions! I was very pleased with the house and communication with the hostess! Daily breakfast was a yummy and awesome added extra! Thanks again, Dana!! I will definitely return to Sonny House if I'm ever in the area again! Highly recommend!!
Heather2017-04-02T00:00:00ZDana was a great host. The house was adorable and a perfect place for a girls weekend! She provided breakfast and snacks for us, which was very sweet. We had a wonderful stay and will be back in the future.

Becky2017-04-27T00:00:00ZThis little back house is beautiful! It was perfect for two - cozy, warm, lots of light, peaceful. The garden area is nice as well. It was only about 5 minutes from most of the shopping in town and the check in process was so easy. I would most definitely stay here again!

Alex2017-04-23T00:00:00ZGreat place close to town but still on the edge of the country
Jim2017-04-19T00:00:00ZWe enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin, full of rustic charm. It is just far enough off the busy bustle of main street to be cozy, but close enough for easy access to everything. Check in was easy just pull in the driveway and head in thru the glass french doors. Josh is happy to provide advice on things to see and places to eat. Just ask. We would stay there again.
John2017-04-02T00:00:00ZGreat place ! Great get away! Hosts are awesome !

Phyllis's cabin was far more than expected!! The little touches made this tranquil cabin really feel like our own. The rockers on the porch were a lovely touch, we had mild nights so enjoyed watching the sunset with a beer. The bed was mighty comfortable, we certainly slept well. Everything to prepare a meal was in the well stocked kitchen. The pastries were delicious. Lots of lovely fluffy towels!! Would highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing get away.
Debra2017-05-15T00:00:00ZPhyllis was absolutely delightful. I felt like I was staying in a cabin in the woods. It had so much Texas charm and more ammenties than any hotel could ever offer. I felt like I was at home, actually I wish it was my home!
Courtney2017-05-07T00:00:00ZDer Texas Haus is perfect for a Fredericksburg weekend getaway. It is far enough from Main Street that it is very quiet and relaxed when you're sipping coffee on the front porch, but it is only a 5 minute drive to Main Street once you're ready for some shopping and eating. Phyllis has added many personal touches to the place that make it special. We had everything we needed and then some!
Brock2017-04-30T00:00:00ZThis is the the place to stay when you're in fredricksburg. She keeps everything you could possibly need. Coffee, extra pillows, Epson salt for the tub, everything. We were so pleased with our stay. The pastries she left were amazing! The decor in the home was precious yall. I'm talking blue bonnets, Texas everything, tin ceiling just amazing!! We are already talking about going back. Don't think twice, book it!
kelly2017-04-23T00:00:00ZA perfect spot to stay in Fredericksburg! Spacious, immaculate, convenient and filled with lots of fun Texas touches. Phyllis left us wonderful pastries and after reading my profile, left me chocolate from a local chocolatier. Checkin was easy, the location is nicely tucked away from the busy downtown area, but conveniently located. All in all, the place to stay when visiting the area.
Cynthia2017-04-18T00:00:00ZGreat place to stay in Fredericksburg. Friendly host. Convenient location. 2.5 miles to downtown. Very comfy bed. Silky sheets. Lots of fluffy towels. Heat lamp in bathroom! Keurig coffee maker. Lots of storage. Host is super quick with her communication. Highly recommend.
Regina2017-04-15T00:00:00Z'Der Texas Haus' was a great trip. A couple minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. The town and surrounding areas are very scenic. We had a wonderful stay. Abby's Place made for a great last minute booking and was so much more comfortable than staying at a hotel. The location was ideal for leaving out toward the wineries in the morning, but stopping by on the way into town in the evening. Would definitely stay again and bring family to stay in the other adjacent suite.
Nathan2017-04-30T00:00:00ZExcellent, place is newly renovated!! Would stay their again!!!
Timothy2017-04-16T00:00:00ZWe had an excellent stay at Abby's. We were In Fredericksburg to celebrate our anniversary and booked Ted's place. It was greatly located close to Main Street yet was In a quiet neighbourhood. The pictures on airbnb are accurate and the place was tastefully decorated and it had all essentials. When we were stuck on a biking trip, Ted let us do a late checkout which gave us enough time to enjoy the beauty of the city and checkout in leisure.

Such a fantastic stay. This was my boyfriend's first time in the hill country, and Trisha's scenic views and quiet space away from the city was a great introduction. Breakfast by the window overlooking the hills was the perfect way to wake up after a long work week. Thank you for accommodating us!
Alexandra2017-05-14T00:00:00ZMy husband and I had a WONDERFUL stay at Trisha's. She had the room kept so clean and had prepared a delicious breakfast for us. We were blown away by the breathtaking views, something you would miss out on if you stayed in town. Overall an amazing trip!
Emily2017-04-16T00:00:00ZA great place to stay! Recommend to all who want a quiet/romantic/scenic stay. Trisha fixed us an awesome tasting breakfast casserole to eat for the two mornings. Easy to find place not far from town.
Ed2017-04-09T00:00:00ZWe are so in love with Fredericksburg! Trish prepared the most delicious breakfast for us and the room was amazing — that bed was so comfortable! The views surrounding the property are spectacular. Out of all the Air BNB spots we've stayed at, this one was our favourite! Thank you so much. We'll be back again for sure!
Rhys2017-03-22T00:00:00ZI can't say enough great things about this place! Amazing breakfast, clean as can be, beautiful views, charming decor, movie and book collection, easy to find and very kind host. We are already checking our calendar for when we can come back to stay here. Our favorite B&B in Fredericksburg by far!
Lindsay2017-03-19T00:00:00ZGot this for a retirement gift for my parents. They had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. They would definitely go back!

Lane2017-03-15T00:00:00ZThe place is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and scenic, but still close to everything. Trisha was so sweet and helpful. Kayti2017-05-14T00:00:00ZWhat an amazing property! The Peaches were just a few weeks from being ripe, so we throughly enjoyed the opportunity to walk the property both mornings. The location is excellent--about 10-12 minutes from every winery and 8-10 minutes from Downtown Fredericksburg. Wine tours will pick you up from the front door if that's what you're in town for! Lindsey was a gracious host--it was my wife & I's one year anniversary and she left a bottle of wine for us that my parents asked her to set up with no hesitation! We had the opportunity to meet her as we were leaving, and I mean it when I say we will be back!
Jacob2017-05-07T00:00:00ZGreat place to explore the great area!
Robert2017-05-05T00:00:00ZThe house was very nice. Great distance to downtown Fredericksburg and wineries.
Samantha2017-04-23T00:00:00ZThe place was clean and put together to comfortably have 2 people stay for many days, including with enough kitchen gear for you to bring your own food to make dinners or lunches, if you weren't wandering the whole time like us! I was concerned about the noise from 290, but you certainly don't notice it inside, and it doesn't detract from peacefully sitting on the back porch and looking at the orchard. We look forward to getting to use the fire pit next time when it isn't raining. That's a nice perk.
Julia2017-04-02T00:00:00ZWhat an amazing experience! We got to watch the sunset from the front porch! It was only about a 5 minutes drive to Luckenbach and 5 minutes to Fredericksburg. The place is surrounded by wineries and isn't far from Garrison Brothers Bourbon Distillery. The only downfall is that it rained all day the first day so the firewood was wet and we couldn't start a fire in the firepit. I would definitely stay here again...and again...
Jake2017-03-06T00:00:00ZIt was great to have our own little private cabin for a two day get away!
Tommy2017-02-15T00:00:00ZThis is by far the best Airbnb we've stayed at. We had a great time, and it's conveniently only two minutes from all of the wineries in town. Highly recommend it.

Heather2017-05-13T00:00:00ZWe stayed here for a girls shopping weekend. It's a lovely , private location that is convenient to Fredericksburg shopping. The barn is unique, fun, cozy and we were astounded by the awesome breakfast delivered every morning. Susan is charming and fun and helpful with suggestions. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.
Vicki2017-05-06T00:00:00ZHighly recommended. Great base for exploring the Hill Country. Susan is a fantastic host. The accommodation provides everything you could hope for - and more! You'll love the food.
David2017-04-23T00:00:00ZWow! Great place. She even make us homemade German breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were so good. If I had a choice between Susan's or Cinnabun, I'd choose Susan's ALL DAY. Very quiet place and I love the dear in the neighborhood. A+ place to stay. Will choose to stay with Susan when I go back.
Byron2017-04-16T00:00:00ZI highly recommend Der Stall Bed and Breakfast. The barn is charming, homey, and clean. Susan and her husband Ron are amazing hosts who show true hospitality. The breakfasts served are absolutely amazing! Staying at Der Stall made our weekend in Fredericksburg better than we ever expected.
Erica2017-03-19T00:00:00ZThe hosts were so nice and accommodating. We came for our anniversary and needed to come earlier than check in time to drop off our cake in the fridge. Upon doing so, Susan and her husband were there and we enjoyed talking with them. They are some of the nicest people we've ever met! The barn is very unique with little hints of flare everywhere. We will definitely be back!

Kevin2017-04-23T00:00:00ZWe loved this place, and we'll be definitely coming back soon.
Gisele2017-04-16T00:00:00ZThe Jasmine room at the Blumen Haus is beautifully decorated with artwork, furniture and interesting objects from Sherry and Jamie's travels. The linens are soft and clean. The bathroom is huge and complete with all types of toiletries. The outdoor seating areas on the porch are lined with potted flowers and interesting decor. You might see deer or hummingbirds. The breakfast of blueberry stuffed French toast was scrumptious. Jamie and Sherry are very dedicated to making their guests comfortable. We enjoyed our conversations with this most interesting couple. This is a must go to B & B. It's a short worthwhile drive from town.
Kay2017-03-19T00:00:00ZBlumen Haus was fantastic! The bed was very comfortable and we woke up to a delicious home-made breakfast. We didn't get to check out the hot tub this time, but we'll be sure to come back! Highly recommended if you want a quiet place to stay just outside Fredericksburg.

Mark2017-05-07T00:00:00ZWe really enjoyed our stay at Barrister's #5 guest quarter. It suited all our needs, very quiet and clean. Location was convenient too. Oh yeah, and price was right! We'd stay here again without even thinking about it. Simple living.
Brandon2017-04-30T00:00:00ZWe had a very nice 2 night stay. The room was as described. Matt greeted us upon check-in and showed us the room. It is just a basic room but it had all we needed. And the air conditioner was cool with excellent white noise. We slept great. We would stay here again.
Larry2017-04-21T00:00:00ZCozy bedroom with a great bed! The woman who checked us in was super nice. There was a nice continental breakfast that was delivered to our room in morning. All & all a great little place to stay. Very reasonable price. Thanks Matt!
Barbara2017-04-13T00:00:00ZWe LOVED this place! It's small, but quiet and no screaming children anywhere. It was easy to find and super chill. Perfect for a single night in Fredericksburg (or even multiple nights). We will definitely be back.
Taylor2017-04-11T00:00:00ZMy wife and I stayed for one night. Check in was easy and room was ready when they said it would be. Room stayed nice and cold. Woke up to a very nice breakfast that was waiting outside of my door. May opt for a slightly larger room next time, but overall very nice. Thank you
Marcus2017-04-09T00:00:00ZMy husband and I had a great stay in the barrister house! The room was large and quiet and the bed was really comfy. Breakfast was delicious each morning and we loved having access to the hot tub across the street! The downtown area of Fredericksburg is literally just a few minutes drive straight down the road (or an easy 10 minute walk), and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Check in and check out were super easy and everyone at the Econolodge was so nice and helpful - they gave us great recommendations for a scenic wildflower drive and had brochures for all sorts of activities in the area. :) If you're visiting Fredericksburg, it's the perfect home base!

The Casitas where wonderful!
Angela2017-05-07T00:00:00ZThese two adjoining properties (Wildchild's Casita and Gypsy Bower) are simply delightful! A break from the traditional F-burg rental. The décor is whimsical and so well done. Clean and well-appointed from kitchen to living to bath. Patio space is comfortable and very relaxing with fountain and heater for cooler evenings. Host is very friendly and gracious (along with his sweet furry friends)! Will definitely revisit this property. Great weekend for reuniting two "old" college friends. Thanks, Jim and Toni!
Laney2017-02-05T00:00:00ZGreat place to stay for the weekend! Would highly recommend. Peaceful atmosphere in the casita and out in the backyard. Hosts are very friendly and informed of the area. It is nearby downtown. Will definitely come back! :)
Amy2016-11-06T00:00:00ZWe arrived and were greeted by Toni personally. She is a amazing person and artist. You can really tell her and Jim take great pride in creating an experience you'll not forget. The pictures do not do the place justice because they can't capture the energy at Wildchild. The extra touches like most delicious cookie greeting on your bed, german pastries and fresh fruit, a full size fridge stocked with water and juice and the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home. Then there is the patio. Make the time to enjoy this space. If you have friends in town who were not lucky enough to stay here, invite them over for pre-downtown drinks -- they will thank you for it, and be quite jealous they are not staying! This is our new home in Fredericksburg. Thank you Toni and Jim!
Emanuel2016-10-03T00:00:00ZI loved staying at the Wildchild Casita. For me, it was a vacation within a vacation. While Fredericksburg was calling my name, so was the comfort and coziness of the casita. Everything was perfect and welcoming! I can't wait to return.
Sandra2016-08-22T00:00:00ZThe host canceled this reservation 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

It was a great house and location
Marsha2017-05-07T00:00:00ZGreat location, easy to walk to anywhere on or around Main Street. Hot tub was great after a busy day of visiting winery's
Tracy2017-04-30T00:00:00ZRickerhaus is in a perfect location. Main Street is within walking distance and there is a grocery store a couple of blocks away in case you forget anything. I would recommend Rickerhaus to anyone wanting to visit Fredericksburg.
Jeffrey2017-04-23T00:00:00ZWe stayed here over Easter weekend to enjoy a quick weekend getaway. Everything was better than described from the easy check in to the beautiful details in the decor; think Joanna Gaines style. The cottage is really impressive. Immaculately clean and every detail has been carefully thought out. Coffee, snacks in the fridge, and even tips on where to eat. Additionally, the location could not have been better. It's literally one block from Main St. and easy to walk everywhere. You will not be disappointed. It will definitely be our first choice next trip.
Jennifer2017-04-16T00:00:00ZThis place is even better in person! It is the perfect Fredericksburg cottage for a girls' getaway. Immaculate and beautiful!
Jenni2017-04-09T00:00:00ZThe location of this quaint home is perfect for anyone who wants to spend time walking around downtown. It was charming and comfortable and we had a blast.
Kimberley2017-02-26T00:00:00ZLaura's home was exactly what we had in mind for a country getaway. It was beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. Perfect for a girl's wine weekend - 3 big beds and lots of bathroom space. The location is great. It's close to everything. We walked to Main Street every morning for breakfast but had enough seclusion to run around the neighborhood for some exercise. Laura was also extremely welcoming and accommodating. She left us food and coffee and kept the house nice and warm! I highly recommend this place and we have already started planning our next trip back!
Ashley2017-01-29T00:00:00ZGreat location and very tidy house.
