Just booked in Fort Mitchell

Cute 19th century lofted Italianate home in Covington's historic Mainstrasse Village minutes from downtown Cincinnati and other area attractions. We have a lot of fun amenities, including a pool table, dartboard, atari, and two record players, in addition to an outdoor patio with cornhole, swing, gas grill, and fire pit/grill.
We have a cute and historic (late 1870s) lofted 2 level Italianate rowhouse with a shotgun layout, and you can use the entire house. Hardwood floors throughout and exposed brick. There is a living room, game room (with a pool table, dartboard, and a record player), dining room, kitchen, and bathroom. The kitchen has a combo washer/dryer that is very convenient. Upstairs is the lofted bedroom with a queen sized bed and a replica vintage record player. There is a full sized Ikea bed in the dining room as well as a large new sleeper sofa in the living room. A blow up bed can easily be set up as well if needed to accommodate more people. The newly renovated stone back patio includes a patio table set, Adirondack chairs, two person swing, cornhole/bags set, garden, and in-ground stone fire pit with grill. Guests are welcome to use all amenities.
We are located in Covington's historic Mainstrasse Village, which is known for its beautiful 19th century architecture and German heritage. We're on a quiet street but we're just one block west of Mainstrasse (Main Street in German), which is one of the largest entertainment (restaurants, bars, music, art, shopping, festivals) districts in the Cincinnati area. The house is walkable to downtown Cincinnati and has easy access to I-71/75.
  • When we checked in, the house was better than we anticipated(we expected it to be great by the way lol). The house was warm and welcoming. This historical home was like something out of a movie!!! With a stocked fridge and a pool table with board games. We felt so at home and cozy. The location was perfect walking distance from plenty food & nightlife. If you want to have a good time in Cincinnati, in a safe and secluded neighborhood this is the perfect place just far enough from downtown yet so close!

  • I can't say enough about how wonderful this house and surrounding neighborhood is. Everything was beyond my highest expectation. Dave is a wonderful host and I will always seek this place first when heading to Cincinnati. We were right in the heart of everything in Covington but with all the wonderful records Dave owns (which he made available to us) all we wanted to do was play pool and listen to great music in his wonderful pool room. I would honestly give this listing and host as many stars as I can. It was that great. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us we all felt like we knew you as a friend after spending three days there. God bless and best wishes thanks again for giving us an affordable vacation alternative that completely ended up blowing us away.

  • David's house is stylish and hip and the neighborhood (old German quarter) is super fun with plenty of pubs and restaurants. My communication with David was seamless and very friendly. Highly recommended. David, thank you for sharing your beer!

    Joanna 2015-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • David's place is BEAUTIFUL!!! it is welcoming, getting there was super easy, and street parking was plentiful. There are several bars and restaurants within walking distance. The bed was super comfy and the place was really clean. I only wish we had more time to spend there.

    Sarah2015-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • The place was cozy and very comfortable. We walked around downtown in the evening.

  • Phylicia went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for during our 9 day stay. To find a truly wheelchair accessible airbnb is very rare. She was extremely accomadating and even helped us find out the height of the parking garage for our oversize vehicle. We would definitely recommend a stay with her in Cincinnati!

    Heather2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Phylicia's apartment was the perfect place to spend the week in downtown Cincy. We had everything that we needed and more, and she was very quick to respond to any questions we had. This is our #1 choice of places to stay in downtown Cincinnati.

The neighborhood is wonderful! Right in the heart of Downtown and just a block or two from all of the main events happening in Cincinnati. Whether your stay is for business or pleasure , you cannot beat this location. The apartment is located directly in the business district and center of the downtown and has a gorgeous overlooking view of the city. The apartment is surrounded by parking lots so parking will be a snap! There is a parking lot pretty close by that I recommend which is $4 for 24 hours and very close to the building .
  • The quality of this place fell well below my expectations. The host needs to invest in improving the cleanliness by having professional cleaners manage the property. They also need to fix the plumbing. Otherwise, the host was nice and the location was good.

    ANNE2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • The space is clean, light, spacious, and well equipped. It has a good feel. Great bed! The location was perfect for our downtown-related interests. Korean and Lebanese restaurants are within a block, and other eateries are within a few more steps. Garfield Place is a boulevard setting with a lovely median and wide sidewalks. The street is quiet. J.L.'s communication was clear and timely. We thought parking might be a minor hassle, but parking facilities within 1/2 a block (reasonably priced) and free overnight parking on the street made it easy.

    Ronald2017-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • JL was a great host! The place was exceptionally clean, and cold water and Keurig were provided in the kitchen. No negative items to note. Highly recommended!

    Lori2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Check in is not flexible as stated and do not plan to get in touch with host in advance. Other than that the place was awesome. It is a great location. It was only $6 for 24 hours of parking in the Garfield Garage. The pool is awesome.

  • Warning: if you stay here you won't want to leave! I can't imagine being more comfortable! This place is beautiful-architecturally, the decor, and the comfiest couch ever, in front of a big tv! Not to mention, big tv's in both bedrooms ( priorities, right?) Amanda was great-extremely responsive. You should stay here!

    Deborah2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an overwhelmingly positive experience with Amanda & Montgomery and this beautiful home. Check in was easier than any hotel has ever managed to be. The house itself was so clean and we were delighted with the interesting architecture. We were in town for a wedding, so we spent limited time at the house, but the patio was perfect for sitting and sipping wine after our events each night. The hosts were so accommodating - bagels and a steamer were left at our request which made our mornings and finicky outfits much easier to deal with. It was so nice to have a dryer available for our less fancy clothes that had been stuffed into suitcases. Our Uber driver made us a little nervous the first night by insisting we “shouldn’t go outside” in the neighborhood, but we did often each night, and Geoff even walked to and from Mainstrasse on Saturday alone with no issues at all. The location was great and convenient to a lot of our venues and great bars that Amanda had recommended. The Mexican Shakedown at the bar above Goodfellas is a top notch cocktail. To top it off, we had several other friends staying nearby in fancy hotels and other airbnbs, and we easily won best location in our comparison conversations. Beautiful home for an exceptional price, excellent hosts, and we’d absolutely stay again.

    Brittany2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful house. We enjoy everything!

    Yong2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda's home was very nice, clean and spacious. It was great to have the separate bedroom and bathrooms and common area to hang out. All rooms had tv's with cable. Communication and check in were great, she even stopped by to see why the Wifi password wasn't working. The extra toiletry and breakfast amenities were great. We used Uber for most of our getting around and was on average around $8. Could not beat the price for all you got.

    Christie2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, great value, and an easy wifi password. id stay again.

    Steven2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place is very nice for the price! We were looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable place to sleep after a night out with friends in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by how charming and big the house is. There was ceiling damage from a recent accident that we were made aware of beforehand. Amanda was upfront about the situation, communicated every step of the way and even offered to cancel the reservation because of the inconvenience. Because of her quick communication and assurance that everything would be cleaned up by our check in, we decided to stick with her and we definitely made the right decision. The only downside of this house would be the neighborhood it is located in and parking. But that should be expected when staying so close to downtown and it did not bother us at all. Again, we couldn't be happier with our stay and I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an affordable, quality place when visiting Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky.

    Kyle2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda's place was great. The inside is very modern and the place is clean. The location is a short $6-$7 Uber from downtown Cincinnati. We walked during the day but I would suggest getting an Uber/taxi at night. I would recommend Amanda's place to anyone looking for a two bedroom place in the Cincinnati area.

    Derek2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Amanda was awesome and communicated with us the entire time if we had any questions or concerns and was extremely hospitable. This house is beautiful and very spacious! Thanks!

    Steve2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • I loved everything about my stay at Denise's rad apartment. Super easy check-in, prime location, free parking, comfy space with everything you'd need (stocked kitchen!), fun decor...and Denise was very helpful in recommending a great dinner spot and just making sure we had all that we needed for a great stay. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

  • Denise was an amazing host: helpful in every way, fast and clear communication, great insights and recommendations on the area, and every detail thought of! She was friendly and welcoming too. It's an amazing area, great historic restoration! Excellent coffee right around the corner and lots of restaurants and cool pubs within an easy walk! My favorite Airbnb experience so far!

    John2016-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • Denise was a fantastic host! The apartment is very comfortable and extremely cool. All amenities were provided and it truly felt like a home away from home. Though I had everything I needed during my stay, I got the impression that Denise would go out of her way to do anything to make my trip more enjoyable. The location could not be better - located in the heart of OTR, within easy walking distance of some of the best restaurants, bars, shopping and culture that the Queen City has to offer. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking to have an awesome time in Cincinnati!

    michael2015-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place was really neat and Denise was very accommodating. We got in late so we didn't get to meet, but I regretted that we weren't staying another day. The apartment was very comfy and there was so many cool things in there that I wish I had more time to check out. But alas, we had to hit the road. Neighborhood was cool if you're into bars/pubs. Definitely recommend the Barcade.

  • I had a great quick stay here! They were extremely friendly and accommodating, even letting me park my car in their garage for the night since it was full of my belongings. It was a wonderful night's stay and I'm looking forward to staying here again next time I pass through Ohio!

  • Our stay was so great. Keys' and Randy's place is so beautiful and we had our own full bath and bedroom access. Their place is in downtown Cincinnati so we were able to easily access bars and restaurants as well as the theater where we were seeing a show. I would highly recommend their place to anyone who is interested in staying!

  • Great place to stay. Wonderful, very hospitable hosts; clean, comfortable room and bathroom; I felt at home. Easy walk to the Duke Energy center (even in brisk weather). Would definitely stay here again and have recommended to others.

  • Keys and her family were incredible hosts! I highly recommend this space. Everything was so clean and modern, and I had all the privacy I could want. Keys was so helpful and accommodating and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. I was in town for a wedding so I was out late both nights of my stay, and it was so nice to come home to such a welcoming, private, quiet and clean place. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Keys!

  • Very clean and in a great location. Was a great place to stay for our weekend trip and she was quick to answer any questions we had! Would stay here again.

  • I loved the place and thought it was super clean and spacious.LeAnna was very nice and a great communicator .I would recommend this great place to everyone !

    Anthony2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I visited Cinncinati for the weekend and I am very happy I chose this place to stay. LeAnna's place is perfectly located close to Downtown Cinncinati. It was nice leaving the busy downtown life to a more laid-back location on the other side of the Ohio River. Her apartment was neat and it very much felt like home. We appreciated the little things such as the fan in the bedroom we stayed in (my boyfriend cannot sleep without a fan on). Furthermore, LeAnna was a wonderful and friendly host. She never hesitiated to answer any of my questions and definitely made the stay as comfortable as can be. I reccomend future travelers to stay here!

  • Great place to live in the weekend

    Sundeep2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I unfortunately had to cancel our reservation last minute because our flight got so delayed that we missed our connection. LeAnna was extremely understanding and we felt her warmth and consideration even though we had never met and were miles away. I would highly recommend LeAnna as a host and wouldn't think twice about booking her in the future if we find ourselves in the Cincinnati area again.

    Hayley2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for my quick night after a long weekend in Cincinnati.

  • Nice Place !!

    Harsha2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I needed a place to stay that was close to the Great American Ballpark coming from the Ohio Rennasance Festival. LeAnna's pictures of her apartment are exactly what it looks like; clean and well kept. It was easy to find. The location of her apartment is close to many places of interest. LeAnna was quick to respond to any inquiry. We would definitely visit LeAnna's place again!

Immerse yourself in all that Cincinnati has to offer. This one-bedroom space is in the heart of Mainstrasse Village, an entertainment district in Covington that is home to over 20 restaurants and bars (for the beer lover, Cock and Bull has ~50 taps, and there are 3 Bourbon bars within 2 minute walk) and Braxton Brewery. Walk, take a Red Bike, or the Southbank Shuttle to downtown Cincinnati, Over-the-Rhine, Reds and Bengals games, Smale Riverfront Park, etc, etc. The possibilities are endless!
As close as I can tell, my house was built in the 1850's as a two family flat. I've found it on an 1877 Sandborn map, but the general understanding is that most of Pershing Street (which was Bremen Street until WWI) was developed in the 1850s and 60s. When I bought the place, the previous owners had converted it into a single family, which is how I have used it up until now. You will have the entire first floor which consists of a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. As I mentioned in my profile, I'm an artist, so my decorating is a bit, quirky :). The bedroom has a queen size bed (with some funky LED lights if you're so inclined to turn them on), a small desk, a dresser, and half a closet (my winter coats are in the other half). The fireplace mantle in the room is beautiful....it's my favorite room in the house. The living room has a leather sectional couch with a recliner on one end. There is a fold-out bed, however the springs are old it's not very comfortable at this point. There's a flat screen TV with surround sound and an old console stereo....unfortunately the record player stopped working, but I bought a Crosley portable and hooked it into the old unit, and I leave a couple classic albums for your enjoyment (think the King of Pop and Neil Diamond). There are some books as well, and my full size cardboard Angelina Jolie (ask me how I got this....it's an interesting story). The kitchen has everything you need if you decide to cook, however there are so many great restaurants within a couple minute walk I'm not sure why you'd go to the trouble. Finally, the bathroom is, well....a bathroom. I have some original paintings in there that I've collected over the years. You also have access to the back yard, though you may be sharing it with me! I have a small fire pit, a grill, a small fish pond with no fish, a couple zero gravity chairs in the yard and a love seat and chair in the side sitting area. Additionally I have a small raised bed garden.....I only ask that you don't take the peppers. Anything else? Help yourself...especially the mint. Dear God....take some mint.
Mainstrasse Village is the best neighborhood in Greater Cincinnati. I love Over-the-Rhine, but it's becoming overdone. Lots of out-of-town investors opening new bars each week. Mainstrasse is very local. The restaurants and bars are owned by folks in and around the village. The neighborhood has as much history as OTR in a smaller, more concise package. We have the same caliber restaurants, cocktail bars, music venues, and art spaces, and accessibility to the whole spectrum of life. You can walk to Reds and Bengals games, the riverfront parks, etc etc. You'll see when you stay :)
  • Rob's place was great for our occasion! We came in town to meet up for a girls night. It was raining so we weren't able to use the adorable outdoor space, but the living area was perfect for what we needed. Also it was so close to an abundance of restaurants within walking distance.

    Patty2017-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, quiet, comfortable, within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and bars, and within a short drive to tons of the city's attractions.

    Laura 2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Rob is a great host, super communicative and full of great tips on where to go and what to do. Location is right off the main drag full of restaurants and bars and super close to Cincinnati!

  • We were in town for a concert, so only stayed one night, but we greatly enjoyed the time we stayed with Eric and his wife. They were both very welcoming, helpful about getting around the area, and gave us some great dinner suggestions. Their home is lovely, and our room was just as stated. Everything was just as stated in the Airbnb ad. No complaints at all. Also, the neighborhood is lovely! Everything we wanted to do was within easy walking distance.

    Rachel2016-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • We spent 3 days in Cincinnati to visit our son. The room is very confortable and very clean. The neighbourhood is quiet and pleasant. Eric and Mindy have reserved the best welcome for us, even with some words in French ! They talked a lot with us and spent time to recommand on of the best bakery, cheese, coffee but also an interresting visit of the town that we have done. we felt like at home ! In fact, one of the best adress in our TOP 3, really.

    Annie2016-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Mindy and Eric are dream hosts. They have a beautiful, immaculate home where every communal or guest room is setup to provide a comfortable and easy experience. There are snacks and little treats everywhere, a huge, professionally-appointed kitchen available for guests' use, and not one but TWO beautiful patio spaces. My bedroom was comfortable with a private bathroom steps away. The most remarkable part of staying with Mindy and Eric are Mindy and Eric. They are friendly and kind and genuinely go out of their way to improve your visit. For example, Eric personally booked tickets for me to see a sold-out museum exhibit. Only because of his member status was I able to see the show, and I loved it! And for FREE! They know their fun and trendy neighborhood well and are full of great recommendations. They were available by phone/text/email and responded rapidly to any questions. I am scheduled to return to Cincinnati next week and can't wait for another helping of Hammer hospitality! I give Eric and Mindy a five-star, no-reservations endorsement! They're the best!

    Paul2016-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely house, great location, really interesting city!

    Jeanne2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Eric and Mindy were fantastic hosts. Their house is gorgeous. In a book on their kitchen table, it shows the progression of the house from what it looked like 5 years ago. I commend Eric and Mindy for their hard work and effort into forming such a nice home. Over-the-Rhine can be a bit scary in certain places but I felt as safe as I do in my own home area. Their house is situated in the most convenient area, within walking distance and street car to everything you'd ever need or want. If I had one thing to improve upon, it'd be the comfort of the bed, although it was good for the short amount of time we were there. Thanks again Eric and Mindy!

    Billy2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We woke to coffee our very first morning. It was truly our choice to be private or open. I was extremely hesitant to share a house, but Eric and Mindy made us feel right at home! The house itself was incredible! EVERYTHING is up to date and clean! The location was also incredible. We could venture the entire metro Cincinnati area by foot! Eric is extremely knowledgable on the history of OTR and more than willing to share. We seriously couldn't have asked for anything better.... This will be where I stay in Cincy from here on out.

    Matt2016-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place, great location. Some incredible food close by. Really nice couple, comfortable bed. Great internet. All around great. Will definitely rebook next time I'm out!

    Spencer2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect place to stay in Cincinnati's Over the Rhine hip and interesting neighborhood. Eric and Mindy have a beautiful home that is super clean, has lots of light, and my guestroom had its own bathroom. They offered me a parking spot in their 2-car garage at no cost, which is very unusual and generous. Walking from Cincinnati's central business district to Eric and Mindy's takes about 15 minutes. The guestroom had a stair climber and a comfortable queen size bed. I highly recommend staying at Eric and Mindy's.

  • We loved this place. Daniel was a great host. The photos don't do this place any justice. We will be back!

    Khisha2017-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Hate to be to positive about this place b/c I don't want it to be booked the next time I'm in town. This place was high end, spacious, safe, and a fun place to stay for a medium sized group. It was like staying in a large hotel suit. It had all the things you need if you were from out of town visiting. Just bring your tooth brush. He's got everything else. Daniel was easy and punctual with his communications. Can't wait to use it again when I'm up in Cincy!

    Lucas2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • The images you see of Daniel's place do not do it justice. It is such a unique and beautiful space. My wife and I very much enjoyed the rooftop in the evening and also loved the walkability to Rhinegeist for an afternoon beer. Next time we're in need of a place to stay in OTR, I can't imagine we look anywhere other then Daniels place!

    Ben2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place and easy to check into. Definitely would recommend this place again.

    Shane2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • This unit has been beautifully renovated and has a lot of charm and character! The furnishings are lovely - very comfortable and stylish. The kitchen was really nice - though a few more pots & pans would have been helpful for major cooking, we were able to make dinner one night and all breakfasts. If mobility is an issue, note that the unit is up 2 flights of fairly narrow stairs. We stayed with my parents and 3 young kids and it worked out fine, but it isn't the most family friendly. It would be perfect for a girls weekend or a bachelor/bachelorette group! The location is very much in the city - not walkable, but centrally located and we were easily able to get a Lyft to where we wanted to go. Bring your earplugs, as it was quite loud at night.

    Stacey2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, gorgeous apartment!

    Jessica2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • My whole family stayed at Daniel's Cincinnati. The apartment is beautiful and the amenities are high end. There is TONS of space which was great for a full family of 6 adults. We had a blast and would definitely recommend!

    Taylor2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures on the profile are very accurate. The place was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the balcony was great! The location was at the end of OTR but walk to everything in 10-15 minutes. Findlay Market is 5 minutes ash and breakfast every morning there was a great surprise. I do recommend to bring ear plugs if you're sleeping in the two bedrooms on the main floor. It gets rowdy from all of the traffic noise that goes on till the early morning hours outside your bedroom windows. Nonetheless I would stay here again because the host has very communicative and the apartment was amazing!

  • Samuel's place is great for a stay in Cincinnati. It's located close to the river and several restaurants and things to do. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and would suggest Samuel's place to others. He was also very quick to respond with answers to all of our questions and was a great host.

    Josh2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Overall very unhappy with the stay. The person I dealt with was named JL and was not the same person (Samuel) I expected to be communicating with. It ended up being a completely different apartment than what the listing showed. It obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time, I had to take it upon myself to vacuum and clean when I got there. Had to ask for fresh linens and towels. I saw three roaches in the span of a few hours. JL did put forth an effort to be accommodating, but it did not make up for the disappointment with the whole stay. The cleanliness was the biggest issue, especially for $127 a night. If you are considering booking this place, there are better airbnb's out there.

    Sam2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Nice Downtown location,Neat and clean.Close to many things,Samuel was very quick to respond and very helpful

    Doug2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first time using AirBnB and we were unsure about many things. Our host was extremely helpful and made the trip easy and enjoyable. The apartment was very well kept and had all the amenities we needed. Our host was always available by text to answer questions. The location was convenient to the downtown and stadium areas and was located in a nice area. The free parking was an added bonus. Samuel made our first AirBnB stay an outstanding experience.

    James2017-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The pool is closed! But the view is still good. It's very basic apartment that gets the job done if you're only staying for a bit and will be out and around the central business district. We had a lovely time in Samuel's place. He was very communicative and he provided everything else as promised.

    Alina2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • If you have to be in Cincy for work it's a great spot

    Mitchell2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Has to be one of the best Airbnb's I have ever stayed at. 24 access to the rooftop pool was amazing! The pictures do not do this place justice! The building is secured with multiple locked doors to keep any unwanted guests out, the parking garage locks at night to secure you cars, the residents in the building were awesome (meeting others on the roof top pool), If you are in cinci for a weekend and have a day to just relax a cooler, case of beer, and the pool area are amazing. it is enclosed for winter, retractable roof for the summer, ping pong table, 4 T.V.s with cable and plenty of seating for a large group.

    Jeremy2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • The place is small but perfect for couples or very small groups. Clean, cozy, and In a great location. Easy check in and check out process. The only issue we had was with finding the parking garage but we quickly figured it out and were set. Easy and short walk to many awesome bars and to the great American ball park!

  • Our stay at Daniel's was great. Awesome loft apartment in an up and coming neighborhood. Very convenient location to downtown.

    Coe2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • My stay was fantastic, and that's all because of Daniel: he's a terrific host! I was initially drawn to the listing because of the great pictures - and as great as they are, his place is even cooler in person. (Daniel redid the whole place himself - very impressive!) In addition to the cool décor, Daniel's place is also clean, located right by the new streetcar for easy, affordable transportation around town, and - if you're driving - there's a secure parking spot for your ride. Daniel is very friendly, welcoming, and communicative. He made check-in a breeze (even with me running late, which I appreciated), was generous with my check-out time (very thoughtful), gave me lots of recommendations, and even warned me about noise that I might hear Saturday morning (it was next to nothing, but him thinking of anything that might disrupt any part of my stay goes to show what how caring he is as a host). Turns out, all of these great pieces were just the start to a wonderful, memorable stay. Daniel walked me all around his neighborhood (stopping at a brewery that's housed in a beautiful old church - highly recommended) and told me about OTR and Cincinnati: the history of the area, how it's changed culturally over time, what it's like now (both the great and not-so-great), and where it's headed. Daniel's passion for OTR and Cincinnati is palpable, and I felt like I not only really knew the area, but I left in awe of it. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Cincinnati. Hanging out with Daniel made my introduction to Cincinnati loads of fun, and it left me eager to plan future trips. I highly recommend staying at Daniel's! He's an awesome person with a fantastic place - you'll love it! (Thanks for hosting me, Daniel!)

  • Daniel's place was very clean and had really cool modern decor. Daniel was very communicable when we arrived. He had great suggestions for places to visit and events to attend during our short stay in Cinci. His place is in a bit of a dicey area, but only a block from the street car station and Rhinegeist brewery, and a few blocks from Findlay Market. Our only complaint is that it was loud at night between the traffic right outside our 2nd floor window and the wedding party upstairs arriving late that night.

    Steve2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • There was a lot of water in the fridge which was great. Daniel was friendly but not overly nosey. He offered suggestions on where to eat and what to do. He was a fantastic host and very thorough. I was not disappointed with me stay at all and would stay here again. He offered to be as involved or as hands off as you needed. Since he has lived here for a while and is a young professional, he knows the gems to go to that might otherwise be overlooked by a visitor. I am very appreciative of him announcing when he entered back into the apartment so I knew someone else was there since it is a shared space. I felt safe the entire time I stayed there. When Daniel was home, he was barely noticeable. I know this is sometimes a factor when sharing a space with a stranger, but like I've stated, he was as involved as I required. I appreciate him asking if I needed suggestions or if I would rather him not inject into my plans. The perfect host in my books.

  • Great space. Very clean very modern. Dan is a great host.

    Jake2017-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Daniel's place is in an okay location right next to Rhinegeist brewery which is one of the best places to visit in Cincinnati. Daniel and Michael seem like good guys, however we only met Michael. The home itself is very well decorated and furnished, however it isn't the cleanliness place we have ever stayed. We found hair on our bedding, as well as in the shower and all over the bathroom floor. We were asked to take off our shoes at the door, however the floors were so dirty you wouldn't want to walk around barefoot. We did not have confidence the bathroom linens were clean either, which made us uncomfortable with the shower. We can handle a little dirt, however the main issue was the heat. We arrived very early in the morning, which Daniel accommodated very graciously I might add, but it was eighty degrees outside and all of the windows were open. It was 79 degrees in the apartment, which would be extremely uncomfortable for anyone. We could hear Daniel's fan going in his room, but we were stuck in a sweaty bed. The next day Daniel let us know we could turn on the air, so that could have come a bit earlier. The location was not the best. The OTR area is always hit or miss and this is definitely a miss. We would not stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness, sketchy location, and uncomfortable temperature controls. Others may find it perfectly fine based on the price though.

    Casey2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Daniels places are beautiful! Very secure building and well stocked apartments. You will not regret staying in one of his apartments! Please be careful walking at night in Cincinnati, but the Connector rail car is very convenient and inexpensive! Had a great two weeks!!

    Ralph2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a great budget stay. Daniel is very gracious and his apartment is stunning. The location is unbeatable. There were a couple snags in our stay such as communication about who else was staying in the apartment, but Daniel was always there to help us out. Definitely consider staying here if you're interested in OTR! It's super close to the connector and allows you to get downtown quickly.

My place is in the Heart of Over the Rhine, which is a historic German neighborhood that has become Cincinnati's epicenter for bars, restaurants, shopping, and architecture. You’ll love how the place is walking distance to everything downtown, and above one of the best bars in Cincy (The bar is LOUD at night). This place is perfect for anyone wanting to experience everything the Queen City has to offer. I am knowledgeable about the city and can help you get the most out of your visit
  • Very nice apartment, both tim and his girlfriend were very nice as well as the bartender downstairs. They were even able to accommodate us after tim tore his acl and had surgery the following morning of our stay. Would highly recommend.

    Chelsea2017-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Tim's place was great. The private bedroom and bathroom are modern, clean, comfortable and spacious. The shared living kitchen areas immaculately clean and stylish. The apartment is in a fun location - ideal for all the bars and restaurants in OTR, and Tim was helpful in offering advice about the local area. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a nice stay in Cincy (We'll be back next time we're in town!)

    Sam2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Timothy's space was just what we were looking for. It is in a great location and was easily accessible. We were in town for a wedding and needed a convenient (and nice) place to sleep and come back every so often to rest. That's exactly what we got out of the trip! Great stay and would highly recommend.

    Molly2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Timothy's place was perfect for my trip to Cincinnati. The location was great with lots of restaurants, bars and coffeeshops nearby. Very walkable and just a few blocks from many of the downtown attractions. The loft was beautiful inside and the check-in instructions were very detailed. Timothy really paid attention to the details that make a great guest experience: spacious bedroom, toiletries stocked in the bathroom, coffee and tea in the kitchen, and even a free drink at the bar downstairs. The bar music and sounds could be heard through the floor at night (as mentioned in the listing) but it wasn't an issue for me. Timothy even provided disposable earplugs on the nightstand just in case you need them to sleep. Tips: Have breakfast at Taste of Belgium and grab a cup of freshly roasted coffee from Coffee Emporium! Take some time to walk or jog through the Over-The-Rhine neighborhood. The architecture is beautiful and the neighborhood is full of local shops, cafes and bars.

    Ernest2017-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Extremely clean and friendly place to stay! Tim was a great host, communicated clearly and super fun to chat with. Everything I could have hoped for in my first airbnb experience :)

    Lindsay2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and clean place.

    Tariq2017-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and comfortable room. Easy walking distance to downtown and the Great American Ball Park. Timothy warned us about noise from the bar below, but we couldn't really hear anything. Will stay again our next time in town to see the Reds play.

    Casey2017-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Tim is an amazing host and has the perfect airbnb set up in Cincinatti. The accommodations are updated, clean and in the heart of the town. Tim communicates extremely well is very accommodating and provides a level of comfort that made me feel at home. Thank you Tim. I hope to be back

The room was immaculately clean and helpful instructions were posted in the room. When we woke up, a nice breakfast was prepared for us. Highly recommended! • Overall a great place, but a tad noisy on the weekends.

  • Great place, great location. The apt had everything and was exactly how it is described. Love being able to walk everywhere and see downtown cinci from the patio! Host was great and responded to all my questions!

    Kimberly2016-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Shannan was awesome! She texted back immediately, her place was clean and big enough for three people, it has a massive back porch deck, a big kitchen with everything you need (including stocked up coffee and sugar and a Keurig machine), all necessary cooking utensils, etc. Basically, it's like a hotel located just blocks from the Ohio River. There are several good restaurants and bars nearby too, plus tons of stuff to do just across the River over in Cincinnati. I definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance and are in town!

    Steve2016-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Shannon was a very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable host. The place was more spacious than expected and extremely clean. The deck was an added bonus where we had our morning coffee with a terrific view. The location is a stones throw away from the trendy MainStrasse Village area which has great restaurants, shops and bars, although it can get a little noisy at night on the weekends. We had a great time though and would definitely recommend Shannon's place to anyone who wants to be in a great location for a reasonable price.

    Jaime2016-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • A hidden gem, this place is great. We are new to Airbnb and were delighted in finding Shannan's apartment. Perfect location and the deck right off the kitchen was ideal for morning coffee and evening cocktails before heading off to the many dining options within walking distance. Safe area for walking about and checking out all the interesting pubs and shops. This apartment is spacious, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, bedding was excellent. The host was wonderful, easy process upon arrival and available if needed. In this neighborhood, parking on site is a plus! I am from the area, and hope to stay here whenever I visit Northern Kentucky.

    Linda2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Shannon was a friendly host and location is tough to beat.

Large eat in kitchen fully equipped with all large appliances and all small wares. Perfect first floor unit with only 5 steps to enter the building and no steps inside- off street parking is provided in a safe quiet neighborhood. All it is missing is you!
This is not a shared space you get the entire space all to yourself! Two bedrooms with two queen sized beds, a new sectional sofa, entertainment center with basic cable in the livingroom and wifi is all included. Everything is there from dishes, to ironing boards, hair dryer, to laundry baskets. It's professionally cleaned before each guest, safe, and private!!!!
It's on the same street as a police station so it's very safe, there's a park within walking distance (only about 1.5 blocks away). It's so close to everything Florence and Crestview Hills has to offer. The location is amazing for shopping, entertainment, travel, and work.
  • The host canceled this reservation the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • Bryan and Diana are AWESOME hosts from the onset of making reservations through check-out! We stayed in one of their two duplexes. It was tidy, clean, and safe. Bryan was very responsive and we had a great week! We highly recommend these hosts. THANKS Bryan and Diana!! We were only about 20 minutes from the Creation Museum, 30 minutes from the Ark Encounter, and about the same from the Cincinnati Zoo. Family Video is only two blocks from the duplex and not too far is the most SUPER Super-Wal-Mart we've ever seen! We also discovered--and enjoyed TWICE--the delicious treats of SWEET FROG's frozen yogurt restaurant.

    Dale2017-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • The unit is a short 15 minute drive from N. KY airport. Also close to some local attractions. The Ark Encounter is about 20 minutes away, Creation Museum is about 3o minutes away, & Kentucky Horse Park an hour away. The town itself is small w/o much to offer for dining/shopping, but so close to Florence that it isn't a problem. For grocery shopping we hit the Walmart Supercenter, Krogers, & Remke in Florence, KY which is less than 20 minutes away. There is a Sam's & Costco in Florence as well. You will need your own hair dryer and iron. Washer & dryer inside rental a nice amenity when wanting to pack light. The host was responsive to our questions and went out of her way to offer dining suggestions for veggie dietary choices. Their check in/check out policy more than accommodating. If you are a light sleeper, be aware there is an upstairs tenant who works some night swing shift hours. This was our first vacation staying in something other than a condo timeshare so it was a little bit of an adjustment because we didn't know what to expect. The homes & apartments on this street seemed to be older built homes, but having never been to Kentucky before, I cannot say for sure. Most people use the street for parking instead of their driveways, so be aware that you may have to yield to oncoming traffic because one side of street full of parked cars. Trash pickup is on Wednesdays if you need to empty the big can in driveway to make room for more. There is a movie rental store about 5 minutes away, just bring ID. The best gas prices closeby were at the United Dairy Farmer's convenient store about 5 miles away.

  • This apartment was perfect! It's walking distance to dozens of restaurants/bars. It's clean, comfortable and the location can't be beat. Sarah was very easy to communicate with. Would reccomend staying

  • Had a great time during our long weekend. The location is excellent with so many great choices within a block or two and downtown is an easy walk. Plenty of room in the apt and a very comfy bed. Also it's a huge plus to have free parking in a nice garage only a block away!

    A.j.2017-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's place in OTR was exactly what we were looking for. We came in for Reds Opening Day and the location and proximity to everything we were hoping to check out was fantastic. Great food, shops, parks all within walking distance. The space was great with everything we needed, comfy sheets, soft towels, and nice natural light. Only minor complaint was noise as there is construction right across the street and a dog that likes to bark early in the morning next door. Sarah was super easy to communicate with and made sure we were taken care of. We would definitely rent from her again!

    Justin2017-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Sarah's apartment in OTR exceeded expectations. I felt like it gave me a true pulse on Cincinnati and one of its premier neighborhoods. I had a lot of fun and had everything I needed for a great stay. I'd definitely be grateful to stay again next time work takes me to Cinci.

    Josh2016-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Location for the studio is great. It is right in the middle of all of the restaurants and bars of the Over the Rhine district, and an easy walk downtown. Place is well furnished with quality linens and and a comfy bed.

  • The location was better than expected! We were so close to everything. It truly is the in the Hesrt of OTR. Sarah was very helpful and accommodating!

  • Sarah was a wonderful host. Very helpful, great communication. The neighborhood was very noisy; although it was 4th of July.

  • Michelle is a great hostess. Very timely in answering nquiries. The apartment is as advertised and is in a quiet neighborhood. Michelle was genuinely concerned that we arrived safe and wanted us to know we can contact her with any needs or questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment and/or any other place offered by Michelle

    Vicky 2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great location if you're looking for something quiet, yet easily accessible to all the goings-on of the greater Cincinnati area. Michelle had everything set up, so "checking in" was super easy. As a runner, it was awesome finding a "50 hikes within 50 miles" book on the coffee table! Having overhead fans in both the bedroom and dining area was nice as well - helped to avoid the AC running all day. Communicating with Michelle was easy, too, whether it be via text or the AirBnB app. Responses were quick and positive. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

    Allen2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nothing could ever beat Michelle’s hospitality and perfection. With the house clean and extremely comfortable. She was always there to help us no matter what the time. Our comfort was her first priority. Stay once with Michelle and I promise you, you will go nowhere else.

    Sandra2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's apartment was just as listed, a perfect spot for us to stay after flying into CVG. Much appreciated homey feel after traveling.

    Allison2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Roomy, clean, comfortable. Great value. We arrived after dark and had a little trouble spotting the address on the building. Michelle was very attentive to making sure we arrived safely!

    Ole2017-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's place was awesome! It was not too far from Downtown Cincinnati, we were only 15-20 minutes away from anywhere we wanted to visit. Michelle was very accommodating and super quick to respond. She also was very flexible when it came to check out time. All around a great experience!

  • Lois was gracious host in a wonderful home. Location was perfect for getting around Cincinnati.

    Val2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay. I was in town attending a conference at the convention center (which is a pleasant 1 mile walk from the b&b). The house was clean quiet and we'll equipped. The host was friendly and accomodating. I had been in Covington 20 years ago and it has really been revitalized since then. There are loads of great restaurants gorgeous mansions and a distinctly southern feel. That said I was still able to find a classic diner with yummy $5 omelets. Highly recommend.

Walking distance to downtown Cincinnati, Newport on the Levee, and MainStrasse in Covington. Beautiful area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Easy access to I-71/I-75 and I-275. 15 minutes from the airport. Besides being in a great location, the building is historical and full of charm. The rooms have lots of tall windows and high ceiling which creates a feeling of space while keeping the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
  • Great location, warm host, comfortable environment! Would definitely recommend!

  • Marta is an amazing host. Flexible with check in check out times. Marta's place is walking distance away from all the nearby attractions. I enjoyed my stay and will look forward to visit again.

    Mayank2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Marta's and would definitely stay there again! It was a great location (we walked to the Reds game) and it was a very cute community. Marta was a great host, she greeted us upon arrival and showed us our room. The street parking (with parking tag she gave us) was easily available and right outside the apartment. The room was decorated very cute and we even had our own porch! She left us the parking pass, wifi info, and even chocolates! This was a 10/10 airbnb, and would definitely recommend to everyone who comes to visit the Cincinnati Area!

No need to drive and pay for parking for Bengals' or Reds' games. So close, you can walk, ride the Streetcar (also known as The Connector), with a station stop literally outside the front door of my building, or use Red Bike (two free Red Bike cards for unlimited rides is included with your reservation)! Please be aware this is an urban area. With a Walk Score of 94 and is safe area but you maybe asked for change, which is common for most cities. If this makes you uncomfortable at all, I would not recommend Over-the-Rhine or downtown in general and would recommend a suburb of Cincinnati. • Sarah was very responsive and hospitable. A nice Syrah awaited us upon arrival. The apartment was very cozy and we enjoyed our stay immensely. I would highly recommend and would stay there again. It is a very attractive area, with a mixture of Urban edge; requiring an awareness of your environment. You are in the heart of an area that is in a process of gentrification. Be mindful. It was an opportunity to explore and interact with a city and its community undergoing growth and positive changes. It was a very positive experience.

    Marianne2016-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cool little loft style place. Right on the connector with lots of great restaurants and bars close by. We didn't have any issues with location, and parking was all close by.

  • Sarah's place was so cute and comfortable, and she is SO sweet and accommodating. Would definitely rent again. A+++

  • Sarah's place was absolutely perfect, and the experience was smooth and hassle free. She met me out front, on time, and gave me a rundown of all the amenities and area highlights. The space itself was gorgeously decorated, full of character, and completely charming. I plan to come back and book Sarah's place again when I have the opportunity to stay longer.

    Katrina2016-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a neighborhood that looks like it's being rapidly " gentrified ". Good walkability and access to public transportation.

    James2017-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah was very welcoming when we arrived. She met us at a time that was convenient for us, and gave us the keys and a walk through her apartment. It was a very cool apartment, and we loved the way it was decorated. It looked exactly like the pictures.

    Linda2016-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah was a great host and allowed us to check in a little early because we arrived to the city earlier than expected. She was informative and gave us great suggestions that were in walking distance of the room. We felt comfortable walking around at night, and had no issues with the area or the local people in OTR. The room was a good size for the two of us, and was nicely decorated. Although there was some noise in the stairwell (because it's an old building), we had no issues. We felt safe and secure in the room. There was a lot of street parking as well. She goes above and beyond to add a lot of extra features to make the stay more pleasant (coffee, heated blanket, towels, toiletries, etc.) Reingeist Brewery, Tafts's, and several bars and restaurants within walking distance, and the streetcar stop was literally across the street. If we come back to Cincinnati, we will be sure to stay here again.
