“Our little town of Redondo is very quaint and quiet. The people are as charming as the town itself. But don’t blink or you’ll miss it. Come to Redondo to reflect, read and relax. Walk the boardwalk and beach, visit the aquarium, have a delicious meal at Salty’s. Use Redondo as a base for your travels to Seattle, Tacoma and surrounding cities. Or just hang at our romantic, cozy beach cottage and stare at the ocean like we do when we’re here. It’s really mesmerizing. And each sunset is unique and truly incredible. The Puget Sound marine life and surrounding pine forest wildlife are also an awesome sight to see. Just like we have, you’ll get hooked on this little town and historical cottage. That’s why we’re sharing it—so you can come back and enjoy it all again and again. Below are some local ideas: -The aquarium at the pier makes for a fun and educational activity for families. -There is a beautiful park and gazebo for family fun in downtown Redondo—just a five minute walk from our property. -Incredible scuba diving (Diving school is located a few miles up the road in Des Moines). -Kayak and paddle board rentals are available at the boat launch (seasonal). -Islands nearby can be visited by boat. We can direct you to boat charters. -Surrounding towns are Des Moines and Federal Way. ”
