Spend a unforgettable holiday in the enchanting surroundings of the town of Cisternino (reachable from the near airports of Bari and Brindisi). Trullo Edera offers a heaven of peace and tranquillity, set in an elevated position with a stunning view. It's the perfect place if you like nature. You can stay under an olive tree reading a good book, you can have a walk in the small country streets or go to the nearest beaches. You can even easily visit any of the sights in Apulia such as the caves of Castellana, the trulli of Alberobello, the baroque cities of Lecce and Martina Franca, the excavations of Egnazia, the zoosafari of Fasano, Castel del Monte with Frederick's castle, Grottaglie famous for its ceramics, Taranto, Brindisi and Lecce museums. Prices vary on period and are to be considered included: in-outcoming cleanings, towels, sheets, water, gas, electricity.
  • Anna's place was fantastic for my husband and me. Our three-day stay was perfect; it gave us time to explore the area easily from this country location that is close to Cisternino, a small town that we thought was among the best in the area. One of the wonderful things about Airbnb is interaction with your host, and we were able to do that on the final afternoon of our stay. Over limoncello and cookies, Anna and her parents told us the story of her grandfather and great-grandfather, whose land their homes are built on. This is a place that despite the Internet, is in another space and time and time is less hurried. What a treat to stay in a trulli house with wonderful outside spaces, where we enjoyed a lunch and breakfast.

  • A wonderful house in a beautiful location. House comes well equipped and Anna is a delightful host. Highest recommendation.

  • What a magical place. So few things in life live up to expectations. Anna's Trulli, any of them, live up to and exceed any expectations we could have had. You'd think you're living in a storybook fantasy. If you go in winter, like we did, it can get very cold in Southern Italy. The Trullo, however, was never cold. Trulli are very insulated by nature, and the heat works very well. Plus, it gave us extra reason to use the fireplace. The surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous, and in winter you get to avoid the crowds of tourists. We can't wait to go back!

  • Ooooooh, what a wonderful and welcoming place! We loved Annas trullo, the sunny terrace with all the colorful springflowers and the silence of the nature so much! The house is perfectly equipped. Also Anna and her mother Tonia have contributed to make our stay a perfect holiday. They were so nice and hospitable! It's obvious that the really want their guests to enjoy their stay and have everything they need - perfect hosts. We stayed in the trullo for one week at the beginning of may. The house always had a comfortable climate and we slept very well in the beautiful sleeping room. Every morning the sun greeted us through the curtains of the terrace door :-) The location is a great starting point for many places to see in Apulia. It was a nice experience to visit the farmer's market in Cisternino, which takes place every monday morning. Further highlights were Ostuni, Castel del Monte, Matera and a quick bath in the sea. Thank you so much, Anna and Tonia! Your trullo and your hospitality were amazing! Speriamo di rivedervi!

  • Trullo perfetto, host perfetto, soggiorno perfetto! Da raccomandare, e da ripetere :) Anna was a perfect host, the trullo very cozy, and our stay simply perfect! Highly recommended!

  • Anna's trullo is a bit tricky to find and your best bet is to meet her in Cisternino and follow her with your own car. You will definitely need a car to get around. The trullo itself is quite charming, everything you need to make breakfast is provided and you have your choice of sunny or shaded patios to enjoy meals or just relaxing. Most of the major sights in this area are less than an hour's easy driving, while Aerobello is less than 20 minutes away. The town of Cisternino has some great restaurants to choose from. The highlight is definitely the caring hospitality provided by Anna and her family!

  • We can't recommend this stay enough!! The Trulli is so peaceful and everything about our stay was perfect. We woke to the sounds of birds chirping and horses braying. Our girls especially loved the tree house in the beautiful old olive tree next to the Trulli. Inside the Trulli was perfect, homely, comfortable, decorated beautifully with a mix of antique pieces. This was our favorite stay on our 6 week Europe vacation. We enjoyed breakfast each morning under the canopy of a grape vine pergola. We arranged a cooking class for our two young daughters (and ourselves) and we learned to make fresh orecchiette pasta, foccacia, meatballs, a delicious batter to coat vegetables using fresh produce from the family's garden. Anna's family live just up the road. Be sure to book a cooking class with Veronica (Anna's sister) and ask to try Tonia's limoncello!! (Anna's mother). Tonia also makes one from mandarin and some others with herbs. If you have young children they might like to see Marco's menagerie (Anna's father) of birds, chickens, guinea pigs a peacock and a porcupine!! (our favourite). If you're lucky you might also catch a baby bird or chicken hatching like we did! You can also buy a bottle of their olive oil, home made from the trees on their farm. We are leaving with much heavier bags!! and very full hearts, we have already recommended all our families visit and we know this will not be our last stay here!! Tthe surrounding areas are beautiful also, there are some lovely places all very easy day visits. Aroberobello 20mins away, Ostuni (the old town), the beaches near Ostuni and along that coast are lovely. The little old town of Cisternino with it's white walled buildings is wonderful too, and it was much less busy with tourists than all the others. We found the people in the south of Italy to be warm, friendly and open. The north was very touristy and busy, whereas our stay in the south was much more peaceful and traditional. We LOVED it!! Highly recommend this stay!!

  • Anna provided great directions including pictures, so we had no problems finding the Trullo. You will need a car to enjoy this area.Tonia, Anna's mom, met us at the Trullo and was very lovely and funny and made us feel right at home. We were very happy with the accomodation, very clean, well equipped, comfy beds and better than we had expected. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would totally recommend this accomodation.

The Eden Valley is the quiet side of the county of Cumbria in North West England, naturally beautiful quiet & away from the crowds of the nearby national parks of the The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales . Its not remote , is very easy to get to but still feels well off the beaten track.
  • It was a wonderful experience staying in the castle, beautiful room, comfortable bed and nice breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the evening by the fire.

  • Wonderful place! Wonderful people! Wonderful food! Wonderful rooms! What else can we want? The castle is just beautiful as well as the grounds... And Wendy and Simon couldn't be better hosts!!! One of the best places I've ever been and 100% recommended! Thanks so much for this fantastic stay! Norma Aloy Antunes (Brazil)

  • Thank you for a lovely stay in a gorgeous place . It is expensive but it is not your average place by any stretch of the imagination a wonderful experience thank you Lynda

  • Beautiful castle and comfortable room. While it might take a bit of a journey to get from London to here, it's well worth it. Wendy and Simon are great hosts and their home is simply gorgeous. Do take advantage of the meals offered as they were quite tasty! At the Kirkby Stephen rail station you cannot pick up tickets. This is important to note as tickets not purchased in advance online are much more expensive. Do yourself a favour if coming by rail and buy a return ticket and pick them both up at Leeds when you make the change if coming from London.

  • What a beautifully restored country home! We loved our night here. The land , house and staff were all excellent.

  • What a fabulous place to stay, it exceeded all our expectations. Excellent food, luxurious rooms, great coffee, ideal location for exploring the dales and the lakes. We wish we could have stayed longer.

  • It is a special experience to live in the small castle. The castle locate near Lake District, it will take one hour if you go to there by car. The room furnish a little old. The breakfast is delicious and nice.

  • Wonderful place to experience UK. And there are lots of interesting collections, it's really amazing.

  • The place is amazing and just as pictured. The location and view really can't be beat. We were unable to communicate with Inga before our trip, which made check-in very difficult. There was some confusion with our booking and with the rental next door, which was frustrating. Other reviews have good instructions on how to find the place. Doors are fairly tricky to unlock.

  • Amazing views, amazing apartment, amazing time!

  • We were snowed in the entire time of our stay, but other than that the apartment was very nice. The house is not in such a deserted area as the pictures might make it seem, but it has a nice view nonetheless. The host was very responsive and when we lost our Internet, she was very helpful and accommodating in helping us with any questions we had. The house did lack certain basic amenities, such as cooking/olive oil and a corkscrew

  • The place was awesome. We didn't want to leave! Thanks Inga for being a great host, your house was amazing. I hope we will be back some time in the future :)

  • On a hill, overlooking the fjord, with Iceland’s forth largest town Akureyri, you have a stunning panorama. The crimson-orange glow over mountains and wetlands in the fading autumn light is truely mesmerizing. As a starting point for a whale safari (e.g. in Husavik) or horseback riding (e.g. Langhus farm near Siglufjordur) you won’t find any better! iPad sound system and a cool beer in the fridge upon arrival, are nice touches. Shops and restaurants are nearby (10 min.). I would highly recommend this place!!1

  • What a wonderful stay we had here! Such amazing views and such a lovely apartment. We loved the mini bar in the fridge - that's a great idea. The bed was comfortable and the iPad with spotify playing was such a great touch. We had everything we needed for a nights stay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area - a must! The only suggestion I would have would be the addition of a kettle for tea and coffee, but otherwise perfect. Thank you :)

  • Gorgeous view, fantastic modern apartment. Petur was quite helpful all along the way. This was one of our two favorite stops along Þjóðvegur...and the apartment was part of the reason why. I highly recommend it!

  • One of those overnight stays you will never forget: Petur's place is so special and beautifully located. Loved waking up with views of the mountains from your bed.

casaBARTHEL is a perfect place for a vacation and an artist residency, immersed in the Tuscan landscape only twenty minutes' from the Duomo and one hour from Siena. Come and live with us: enjoy our olive trees, the kitchen garden, the tennis court and the small swimming pool. The TREEhouse is a romantic room immersed in the pine trees with fire place for the winter and AC for the summer. It offers a bedroom with a queen size bed, a small kitchenette with stove and fridge; a bathroom with shower, and a private outdoor terrace. And a fantastic view towards the Tuscan landscape! And if you want to see and know more about our passion for the interior design, the arts and crafts, and antiques you should come visit our design and make shop ‘Riccardo Barthel' in Via dei Serragli n. 234 r, in the Santo Spirito district of Florence! At the beginning of the 1980 our family moved into the ‘Poggio Secco' (Dry Hill) farmhouse, just outside Florence city center, in front of the Certosa dell'Ema. The compound had a big stone villa surrounded by olive trees, a compost hub, a pigeon house, a barn, a tall cypress tree and an old German shepherd dog. Everything in the farm was placed around a large terracotta courtyard, a sort of public square. Thirty years later the ‘Dry Hill' is still our home and a small community. We all live here sharing the same love for the countryside, its olive oil, good food and the family lifestyle! The rent includes the use of the communal swimming pool and the tennis court; the dining porch with the BBQ and the wooden oven; dryer and washer; table tennis and football table, plus a car parking inside the property. We are glad to interact with our guests; you will be part of our large family! Galluzzo is a nice small village with everything you need:crocery stores and a nice farmers market open every day. The certosa monastery is a must. Le Corbusier was there to learn! There are public busses in Galluzzo to go to the city center and to go to Siena. But to get to our house and to enjoy the surrounding you should come by car!
Galluzzo is a nice small village with everything you need:crocery stores and a nice farmers market open every day. The certosa monastery is a must. Le Corbusier was there to learn!
  • What an amazing space! We only stayed one night but felt complete rejuvenated after spending the afternoon, evening and next morning at the treehouse and the surrounding property. We really loved the tennis courts and if we had more time, we would definitely have booked a session at the printing press (looked very cool from what we could see through the windows). We will definitely be back next time we are in Florence!

  • There are hardly enough words to describe how incredible this place is. We were greeted by Teresa who was an absolute sweet heart! She did her best to speak to us in English and did an awesome job. The next time I go back I will speak italian to you, Teresa! :-) Daniela was absolutely amazing as well! We enjoyed our 2 night stay there. It was comfortable, clean and (Website hidden by Airbnb) was so nice to walk around the area and see the different houses and we were able to appreciate all the thought and hard work and love put into every inch of the place. I can't wait to get back! Thank you so so much!

  • The tree house and the garden are such masterpieces. Elena and her friend are welcoming and nice. The view from the tree house is awesome. Delicious breakfast is delivered to the house in the morning, the coffee in the kitchen is also great. The location is convenient and not difficult to find following the direction. It's a great experience to stay in the place.

  • It is simply unique. A wonderful experience!!

  • We felt very welcomed arriving at the Treehouse! Elena was out of town, but her helper Teresa greeted us and showed us around. She didn't speak a ton of English and we are pretty bad with Italian sadly so we had a hard time understanding each other, but she was very nice and helped us with everything we needed! She even arranged a taxi to pick us up when we checked out. It was the perfect mini break from touring around Italy. I would recommend having a car if you are going to be staying more than 2 days. We did not, which was totally fine because we made sure to bring food to cook in the kitchen. We had to venture out one day to get more food, and walked down a steep hill with no sidewalk (Elena definitely warned us), but what can I say, we were starving :) We stumbled on a really cute farmers market just about a 20 minutes away so all in all it worked out great, but I wouldn't recommend walking down that hill. We enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!

  • Wonderful treehouse - what a special place to stay. Very well equipped with functional kitchen and great bathroom. Amazing view over Tuscany, only downside is that is it close to the major Florence ring road so that you can hear the traffic at all times. Elena was very helpful and prompt with communication.

  • Elena is a treasure. Her family property is even better. My wife and I had traveled 20 hours from Idaho and Elena made sure everything was perfect and ready when we arrived. She directed us to a fantastic meal less than 1 mile away. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in the Treehouse while enjoying a Tuscan sunset. Highly recommend to anyone looking for ultimate relaxation and professional service.

  • Hard to know where to begin. The listing ... 100% accurate.... the hosts 100% charming.... the place 110% magical! It is best to have a car especially if you are planning on taking advantage of the close proximity to Florence and the sites. It was a pleasure to come "home" each day after a hot summer adventure in Florence and head straight for the pool. There is a wonderfully simple kitchen ... enough for easy breakfasts and light dinners if you are inclined to just hang out at home. The Co-op in Galuzzo is perfect for picking up provisions which I would do before heading up the hill... bread wine fruits cheese meats etc. I was traveling with my 13 yo son and it was a brilliant and beyond perfect way to connect with Italy in a spectacularly authentic way. Very special... worth the travel and the rate!

Trullo is situated on the west facing slope of a delightfully quiet valley with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and ideal place for relaxing and is beautiful to explore on foot or by bicycle. The property has been designed to be beautiful, comfortable and environmentally friendly. Set in four acres, Trullo aromatic green provides the space and tranquillity for real relaxation. Amongst the 110 olive trees are many almonds, walnuts, fig, cherries, apple, pear and mulberry trees, providing a garden banquet that guests can feast on. • I can't recommend this place more highly if you are wanting a peaceful retreat close to many different towns and sites. It is a wonderful place and Isa is a fantastic host. I would definitely recommend getting a car if you are staying in this location.

  • The place is a very nature energy, peaceful, beautiful and romantic...with a garden filled with fruittrees and herbs....just a fairy tale to eat dinner outside in the evening! The house is cool in the summer! The kittens were lovely and give a domestic feeling ! Isa is a very social women which take a lot a care of her guests...she gives you delicious products selfmade and from the region as a welcome pack...very attentive, warm and nice of her. The house is clean with thick white bathtowels and also a good collection of music is present. We slept very well and used the bathtub with candles and a glas of wine! We were very lucky to meet isa and her dream place in our live and we hope to see her back!

  • Isa is a beyond wonderful and kind host and was so welcoming and helpful to us on our first trip to Puglia. Her Trullo is a dream of a place sat atop a hill in a raw, wild and beautiful landscape surrounded by olive and fig trees and draped in grape vines. We very much enjoyed our stay, Isa was kind enough to collect us from Ostuni station and deliver us at the end to Bari airport, otherwise we would have been stranded! She makes excellent suggestions on all subjects, in particular the best beaches, and where to find local specialities. We thoroughly recommend this Trullo, if you are looking for a remote and beautiful place to catch your breath. We did find, however, that you ideally need a car if you want to explore, which you will want to do!

  • Isa was a wonderful host, and the trullo was beautiful. Photos don't do it justice. We can't wait to come back to the region.

  • This is a wonderful Trullo. In beautiful surroundings. We couldn't have had a better weeks break. Isa is a fantastic host. Her info pack has plenty of information and her recommendations are spot on. If peace and quiet is what you like but lovely places to visit within easy reach this is it. We'll be back.

  • We spent one week in this beautiful Trulli, surrounded by a wild and dreamy garden. There's a lot of trips you can do to the surrounding beaches, or you just stay at home and enjoy the stunning landscape. Isa is a great host! She will spare no effort to help you with tips and the fruit and vegetables she offered us were delicious!

  • Isa was such a wonderful host - so helpful and welcoming. This was the highlight of our trip to Italy! The trullo is beautiful and ideally situated for exploring the region. We really appreciated Isa's helpful advice and recommendations. Thanks!

  • The Trullo was fantastic! We loved every minute. It was the perfect home base for our Puglia vacation. Isa was a lovely host with fantastic suggestions that made us feel like locals - right at home. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

The breakfast is delicious with fruits, bread, butter, cheese, jams, yogurt, juice and coffee / tea. Alexis is a great host and will give you the privacy you need. I strongly recommend this place.

  • We had by far our best airbnb experience at Alexis and Lotte's troglodyte!!! They were the perfect airbnb hosts!!! They were super friendly and very accommodating. They gave us advice on things to do in the area and gave us a ride to the train station. My husband and I were on a 3 week trip across France and Italy and their place was the best place that we stayed out of our 5 different stays. Their place is centrally located, close to food and the chateaux, and was super cool! We loved how they decorated their cave and all of the extra amenities like a wonderful breakfast every morning, and all the other great little bathroom things that you always forget to bring with you on long trips. There place was super clean and we loved the claw foot tub. Staying with them was like staying with old life long friends. I would highly recommend staying at their place. It was perfect and we would love to visit them again!!!!

  • This is a beautiful troglodyte run by lovely people. The inside has been tastefully and lovingly decorated, with mindful attention paid to every detail. The lighting creates a real sense of atmosphere. Despite the cold outside it was nice and warm. We loved the breakfast (which is beautifully laid out) whilst watching the two playful cats go about their mornings. It's an easy five minute drive to the centre of Amboise - you'll love the calm and quiet of this little village. A really enjoyable and unique experience that we will long remember. Thank you Alex and Lotte!

  • This was our second visit to Alexis and Lotte's beautiful home and we were just as impressed as we were last time. Wonderful setting, lovely people. A great stay in every way. We will be back!

  • Lotte and Alexis are a friendly and welcoming young couple who made our stay really enjoyable. Their property is simply amazing and has to be experienced. It is incredible to think that it is all carved out of the rock. The level of detail and finishing is exquisite. I couldn't recumbent it more highly. It was the highlight of our holiday.

  • Had the pleasure of staying with Alexis & Lotte just recently. What an absolute delight they both are. Very sweet, informative and generous. Their Troglodyte home is really lovely and the room is gorgeous. The room is spacious and well designed - you can see how much work has gone into it. Breakfast is an assortment of breads, yoghurts, eggs and of course, a wonderful French Croissant. Tea, Coffee and Orange juice is also part of the lovely spread each day. The Loire Valley is beautiful and we especially loved Amboise. We would definitely stay with Alexis and Lotte again - hopefully for longer next time.

  • We absolutely loved our stay in the 'CAVE' - the room was fantastic and Alexis and Lotte are amazing hosts. Lotte welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our room, advised a few things we should do while staying in Amboise and recommended a few nice restaurants. Alexis prepared our breakfast each morning which was just delicious - beautifully decorated - the best we have had in France! There are many Chateau's within the area to visit as well De Vinci's burial place and home - all in Amboise. We would highly recommend staying with Alexis and Lotte as they are fantastic hosts and their place is simply amazing - a young couple following their dreams which is very inspiring.

  • This was a wonderful experience to stay in a room in a cave. The room is lovely, well furnished clean and spacious. Very close to a great little town called Amboise where there are many restaurants and shops. Alexis & Lotte are very welcoming and gave us great advise on where to eat. The breakfast was perfect and a wonderful surprise. We would definitely stay again and have recommended to others to stay there.

Hector Cave House, carved into the unique caldera cliff for more than 250 years, was originally used as a wine cellar. Then it became a family owned complex of three different properties that opened its doors to share its unique character to travelers from around the world. The three different properties are: The Hector Cave House The Hector Luxury Cave The Hector Caldera Nest
The Hector Cave House, carved into the unique caldera cliff for more than 250 years, was originally used as a wine cellar (“the canava”). The traditional “canava” became a family owned summer house, which then opened its doors to share its unique character to travelers from around the world. Indoor: Hector Cave house (60 square meters) can host 2-5 people, ideal for one couple or a company of 2-5 friends. The house includes one bedroom, two bathrooms and a living room area. The bedroom has one built-in King size bed LOCATED ON THE LOFT and one single sofa bed 200 cm x 80 cm. In the living room area there are two built in single sofa beds. The kitchen is equipped with all the facilities for self-catering holidays, including microwave, refrigerator, electric hot plates, toaster, electric kettle and an espresso machine. Outdoor: The private veranda offers a private space for relaxing, dinning, or even sunbathing, having as a background the most breathtaking views of Santorini: the Volcano, the caldera cliff and Thirassia Island. Outdoor NON heated plunge pool for two is also available from APRIL 1-NOVEMBER 1
Hector Cave house is situated in a very convenient location, right on the main path of Oia traditional settlement. Within walking distance, visitors can reach all the highlights of Oia and wonder around picturesque shops, cozy restaurants and romantic caldera-view cafes. Also, the complex lies a few steps from the old castle and the best viewing spot for the famous Oia sunset. Although close to local activity, the Hector Cave House provides peacefulness and privacy.
  • My husband, Phil, and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hector Cave House. Giannis was a fantastic host providing us with all of the logistics to get to Oia from the ferry port to arranging transportation and sending us maps or Oia, things to do, places to eat and so much more. We could not have had a better experience. The location of Hector Cave house was amazing. We were so close to the famous castle and sunset, lots of restaurants, shops and Amoundi bay. We will recommends this place to anyone travelling to Santorini. Giannis was so kind as to show us around in Athens as well and recommended some amazing restaurants. We had a fabulous honeymoon and this was one of our favorite places.

  • Amazing (southern facing) view!!!! Two balconies for plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the view. Good location on the main street but far enough from the center so its quite. Fast WiFi and strong AC. Would definitely recommend! Smooth check-in and Giannis was able to arrange transit to and from the airport.

  • A beautiful home that felt a world away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowd, the Hector Cave House was a fantastic place to stay in Oia. It's beautifully decorated, with everything you need, and its' location is fantastic - mere steps from the famous sunsets of Oia, shops, restaurants and the rest of the town. We loved coming back to rest on the porch, enjoying some Santorini-made wine while we overlooked the caldera. Giannis was a fantastic host - he was extremely responsive, going out of his way to help us any time, from answering basic questions to helping us book airport transfers, to sending someone when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Thank you so much for everything Giannis, and if we ever are lucky enough to find ourselves on Oia again, we will definitely be staying at Hector Cave House!

  • The Hector Cave House in Oia was fantastic as was the host, Giannis. Staying in Oia was a great choice: there are lots of shops and restaurants that are open and within easy walking distance. Hector Cave House is perfectly situated almost near the end of Oia: a short walk away is the "end" of Oia and a fantastic place to take pictures of the Sunrise. During the day, and night, you have *exactly* the stunning view of Santorini that are in the pictures Giannis has posted. Yes, the view really is that stunning. And, unlike other places I looked into, Hector Cave House is private and quiet: no one is "walking on the roof" or in your view. Inside the Cave House is spotless and convenient. The bed is extremely comfortable. The two bed/couch areas in the main room would be great for a family that had two kids with them. The A/C worked really well. The Wifi was great. We spent three nights here. For about 4 hours near midnight of one evening, the power in this part of Oia went out. Giannis even had a very bright battery operated light over the door that came on automatically. Seriously: this was a great stay. I don't see a hotel matching this. I hope to come back to Santorini in the future and when I do, without question, I'll arrange the dates to match when Hector Cave House is available. I should also note that we had a 6:30AM flight back to Athens. Giannis helped us out by arranging a very affordable and fairly priced car service as well as recommending what time we should leave in order to make the flight. This Airbnb stay at Hector Cave House was one of the best stays on our vacation. A fantastic place to stay with a *stunning* view.

  • Loved the house and the location. Giannis is a very helpful host.

  • If you are looking at AirBnB for a spectacular cave house experience in Santorini (Oia), you MUST consider booking Hector Cave House. I just spent 5 days at this wonderful home and it was even better than expected. The owner Giannis is a gracious host who commicates well and truly wants his guests to experience the charm and beauty of this house as well as the village of Oia. From his complimentary bottle of Santorini wine to the cheese & meat platter provided on arrival. As well as his availability 24 hours a day if we needed something. This was a prefect place to stay. The recently renovated cave house was gorgeous inside and out. And the newly added jacuzzi on the balconly offers a relaxing way to take in the breathtaking views of the caldera. In my opinion, you would be crazy not to book Hector Cave House right now. It is just as nice if not better than most luxury hotels i have stayed at in Oia. And trust me, you will be more than satisfied!!! Thank you Giannis. We will be back again! Rod

  • This place will set a standard for the rest of your travels. It's so well thought out that's it's intuitive. From the placement of the electrical outlets to the wonderful water pressure and higher shower, you will find total comfort. The view is beyond amazing. The plunge pool is a perfect spot to cool down after a exploring. Gianni's goes beyond in making sure you are comfortable. He's just a real nice guy. If you choose here, you've made the right choice.

  • We were on our honeymoon and Santorini was the last location of our holiday. Giannis provided lots of information beforehand and helped to book the transfer as well, that really saves us some time and trouble *thank you! :)* As Giannis was away, he had a friend to bring us to the cave house. He also made a call to ensure everything is alright for us. A very responsible host who is always there 24/7! Location: The cave house is located very near to the sunset viewing area (the castle ruins). It's located right in the middle of oia, accessible to all pretty photo spots (the main 3 blue domes, windmill..etc). Right below our cave house, there are lots of souvenir and gift shops, also a variety of restaurants. There are also 2 mini markets located at 2 ends, of which we bought some groceries and did some cooking. The View: As mentioned by many reviewers, the view is really breathtaking! It looks exactly or even better than the pictures as shown on listing. Most of the time we just sit by outside, sun tanning and watching the cruises goes by. Cave house Interior/ Amenities: For the last 2 weeks of our honeymoon, we have been staying in hotels (from London to Italy). This is my first booking made on Airbnb, and it was indeed a different and amazing experience to be able to stay at a home/homelike style accommodation. The cave house was well decorated and clean (it just looks like the pics, very true to it!). It has everything we needed for cooking as well. Overall, it was a 10/10, perfect experience for us in Oia, Santorini. Thanks Giannis for the wonderful cave house and perfecting our honeymoon. I am sure we will recommend to our friends and to be back with our family in near future :)

  • Very beautiful villa. Ideal place to visit North Iceland. Gunnar is a very great host, it's very easy to communicate and he has a lot of relations in Iceland to facilitate your trip. Don't hesitate! I hope I'll come back and sure I keep Gunnar in my contacts ;-)

  • This place is so incredible! The views out of the glass walls are absolutely breathtaking, everything looks like a painting! We couldn't believe this place when we walked in. Everything was perfect and it was in an excellent location, only about 5 minutes drive to Akureyri. Also very easy to find and Gunnar was extremely helpful while we were there. The hot pot was also amazing, we used it every night.

  • Gunnar was very helpful and responsive. The house was gorgeous, with amazing views.

  • Wonderful house with an amazing view. When we have questions Gunnar answer very quickly

  • Thanks for hosting us in your beautiful villa surrounded by breath-taking views. It was the highlight of our two-week trip in Iceland this summer. We look forward to coming back in the future to enjoy the northern lights.

  • This was a very nice home, we enjoyed our stay very much. There was a lot of space, the house was clean, beds were comfortable and the views were spectacular. I had some problems finding it because Air BnB tagged the location on the wrong side of town but Gunnar's directions were accurate so read his instructions carefully.

  • Gunnar was great and his home is fantastic. Breathtaking views, we never wanted to leave. Highly recommend this wonderful home.

  • This place is fantastic, the house is awesome and the view can't be beat. Gunnar answered all our questions and was very responsive, we had a great stay!

This spacious, unparalleled cave house, hanging on the cliffs of the caldera in the center of Oia, is part of a traditional complex of cave houses, owned & renovated by a family of architects.
Crowning a unique complex of cave houses which used to serve as the old bakery of the settlement, and just a moment from the main pedestrian street of Oia, lays the remarkable cave house of sculptural aesthetics. Originally renovated for personal use by local craftsmen, the house perfectly combines traditional style with comfort. The plasticity of its forms, the use of local techniques, the built in beds and the selection of antique furniture together with the modern amenities, strike the right balance between sophistication and coziness. The cave house has two private bedrooms one of which was actually the old cistern, now transformed into a cocoon, cave room. This couples' nest, is five organic-formed steps sideways and below the main level of the house, with an emperor size (200 x 200 cm) built in bed and vintage wooden furniture. The original path that was naturally created by the cliff structure, connecting the two caves which form this house, leads to the master bedroom, on the other side of the house, maintaining the original architectural plan. With a private entrance, two windows and a door that separates it from the rest of the house, this bright and spacious bed room comfortably fits an oak queen size bed (160 x 200 cm), a large desk with a chair, an antique bookcase and a handcrafted mirror. Both bedrooms are equipped with high quality latex mattresses. In the commodious, off-white living room, a warm and relaxing corner has been created by the two large built in sofa beds (easily accommodating two for sleep) and the square beech wood coffee table. On the side, a solid, oak wood dining table is surrounded be a wooden and a built in bench, comfortably sitting a company of six for a luscious meal, right next to the fully equipped kitchen. There, an oven, ceramic hot plates, refrigerator, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster and cutlery ensure your stay will be as convenient as possible. The bathroom, deeply curved in the cave, with off white local stucco technique and marble from Crete, has a handcrafted marble wash basin and rain shower. Outdoors, the private terraces expand on different levels literally on the rim of the caldera, creating unique angles and comfortable sitting spaces. You have travelled miles in order to come here; this is the time that you can finally grasp the serenity and beauty of the sensational, unobstructed view of the volcano, the caldera, the sea and the sky which will undoubtedly leave you breathless. Enjoy!
Oia is the most picturesque coastal town on the northwestern tip of Santorini. The town has whitewashed houses carved into the rugged clifftops, and overlooks a vast caldera filled with water.
  • A *beautiful* Santorini cave house with an absolutely stunning view of the caldera from the two large outdoor sitting areas. The archetypical Santorini location. Clean and artistically appointed Small but well equipped kitchen One king size bed is very spacious, the other double bed is a little small for two. the two single beds are fine. Oia is a very fine location - lot's of interesting shops and very quaint; Bakery, little supermarkets and cafes within minutes' walk of apartment. Highly recommended.

  • Thanks!

  • My family and I stayed at Laskarina's beautiful cave house for 5 blissful days. As everyone else has mentioned, the photos really don't do the view justice - it is far more stunning in real-life. The accommodation was clean and someone even came to change the towels/sheets every few days. Laskarina was very helpful and answered any questions within 24 hours - we even messaged her to say her chair had ripped and she had replaced it by the time we were home after a couple of hours! As mentioned before, the location is very central but we slept well every night with no noise. Definitely book this place, we would recommend it to everyone.

  • Wow what a unique property everything it was supposed to be very handy to Main Street but quiet and secluded. The second bedroom doesn't have a door but very unique in design so wasn't a problem. Host left a bottle of wine and fruit basket and a very kind gentleman carried our luggage down the steps. Would definitely stay there again

  • This place is amazing!! The view from the property and the rooftop outdoor areas is simply stunning! We did not want to leave this property. We ended up cooking all our own meals and eating outside enjoying the view, which was better than any of the restaurants!! Inside, the house is very clean, beautifully furnished, spacious and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this place! Laskarina was super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The transfers to and from the Ferry & airport were seamless.

  • I have stayed at many such apartments in Italy, Spain and Greece and I can only say that this was by far the most charming place I have ever stayed at (and likely to ever find). The location is great (right next to the Skala and Skiza restaurants in Ouia, 2 minutes from the church near the tourist office), the view is spectacular and the furnishings impeccable. We had a terrific time in Santorini and a lot of it was because of this villa we stayed in. The prime sunset viewing spot is 5-7 minutes away by foot. In the evening, you can sit in your own private balcony and watch the cruise ships sail by. John and Laskarina helped us with booking travel from the airport.

  • Laskarina responded to our queries very quick and managed to clarify everything we need to know before our trip. We arranged airport transfer with her and there was a portal service to help us with our luggage to the apartment! Laskarina's husband, John received us at the apartment and gave us a detailed tour around the house, and there was a bottle of wine for us to welcome us! The apartment was amazing! It was really cosy with breathtaking view right outside of the door. We can't help to take a few seconds to enjoy the view every time we step out of the door. We stayed in the apartment most of the time as most of the shops in Oia were closed due to low season. But it wasn't a problem for us as the apartment was such a nice place to relax and enjoy the view.

  • Words cannot describe how amazing Laskarinas place is! The view is better than a postcard and it is so peaceful. This property is by far our favourite air bnb experience and i couldnt recommend it highly enough. Laskarina was more than hospitable and took care of even the fine details- wine in fridge/bowl of fruit/cell phone for emergencies....all whilst in the middle of having a baby!!!!! Thankyou so much for everything and we hope we can return one day! The house itself is comfortable and conveniently located- you wont even want to leave Oia. Laskarina gave us a detailed email full of suggestions of places to eat and see. If you need a place to relax and wind down- this the place to do it...the view is priceless! Once again cannot recommend highly enough!

  • Awesome view, nice apartment, and friendly hosts. I highly recommend!

  • Carla and Ivan were very welcoming and attentive to making sure we had everything we needed and providing recommendations of places to visit. Carla was very prompt in communications and provided us with some very welcome water, fruit, teas etc on arrival, which was much appreciated. The view is fantastic, overlooking probably the best part of the lake, which was wonderful to experience each day. The apartment is quite small, but as expected. We are a family of two adults and two teenagers and it was fine for us. Great outdoor facilities, particularly the swimming pool which our girls loved spending time in most days. Neighbours were helpful and friendly. We loved Lake Iseo, a real gem, much less touristy than Lake Garda, just as beautiful and with more charm. Val Camonica was also an extra bonus that is definitely worth exploring. We definitely recommend staying here.

  • From the point of booking Carla was very helpful and managed to answer any questions I had of the area. The home itself speaks for itself. The views of the lake are absolutely sensational, you have a postcard shot straight from your bed every morning. There are plenty shops and restaurants near by, I personally went for the 5 minute walk down the hill and spent time there where there is a couple of bars and restaurants. 5 stars really doesn’t do Carlas hosting or home enough justice and hopefully I can make it back to the area again for another stay.

  • Carla and Ivan were welcoming and patient when we arrived, and carefully explained the apartment. The kitchen is modern and the beds and sofa are comfortable. The view is absolutely stunning, and parking was convenient. Riva Di Solto is a gorgeous quiet town, with friendly people at the restaurants, post office, and stores and fascinating medieval alleyways to explore. Just be aware that Wifi might not be available in the apartment. I see now that the listing says there is no Wifi, but some of the reviews do mention it. If internet access is essential to you, confirm in advance that it is working or purchase a hotspot for your rental car. Thank you for a lovely stay, Carla and Ivan!

  • Carla's place on Lake Iseo is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The apartment was spacious and clean, and well-prepared for guests. The large patio is sunny, with a stunning view over the lake. Parking is available right outside the apartment's door. Carla was very responsive and her husband, Ivan, came to meet us and show us around and was super friendly and helpful. We had a great experience, and would definitely return.

  • We had good communication with Carla and Ivan. The house was incredibly beautiful and clean, overlooking the lake. We could not be more pleased with our stay. Gida

  • We loved our stay here!! We only came for a short trip (2 nights), and we wish we could have stayed longer! We are definitely planning to come back in the future, for a longer period of time. The place is just like the pictures, the view is incredible. We loved just sitting out on the balcony overlooking the lake while sipping on tea or coffee or wine. It's exactly what we were looking for! The little town is a 10 minute walk away (maximum), and is really cute. It's right on the water, but was very calm (we came during an off-peak time). The pool was closed (opens in mid June), which was fine for us, but we enjoyed using the bocce and tennis courts! We didn't end up going to the store, but we saw some grocery stores on our drive in, probably a 10 minute drive away. When we left we drove along the lake instead, which was a GORGEOUS drive. If we were there for longer we would have done that more (or biked, or rented a boat). I highly recommend this place for a relaxing, refreshing vacation.

  • We had an absolutely wonderful time at Carla and Ivan's paradise in Iseo. The views were just magical and we sat on the balcony everyday just watching sunrises and sunsets. The apartment had everything you needed to prepare meals if you wanted. The centre of town is a very short walk down the hill and there were some lovely restaurants to eat at.

  • Excellent accommodation. Superb breakfasts. We were made to feel very welcome and hosts were very helpful.

  • Our stay with Emma and her family at their Villa was wonderful. After busy days visiting sites such as Pompeii and Sorrento, we could relax in Ercolona. The Villa is filled with wonderful history and beautiful gardens. Emma's breakfasts are awesome, and we also chose to have dinner at the Villa. Emma is fantastic cook, gracious hostess, and her family made us feel very welcome and special. As first time travellers, my sister and I felt very safe and comfortable. Thank you Emma.

  • Emma and her family couldnt have been more kind. The house is remarkable. The rooms are lovely. Emmas food is divine. The villa is located in a not very touristic part of the amalfi coast, but we were given a map with directions and attractions for us to do which was very useful. If you are a fashion lover, do not miss the vintage clothes market. We found some great finds. I would recommend Villa San Gennariello to anyone going to that part of Italy. It is truly a beautiful place.

  • Outstanding! My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Villa San Gennariello. Built in the 1700's and beautifully restored, filled with family antiques and art, large spacious rooms, a beautiful garden, lovely sitting rooms, this villa is exquisite! Within walking distance to the Herculaneum ruins and a short train ride to Naples and Pompeii, this is the perfect location to explore southern Italy. Francesco, his mother and father, Emma and Mimmo, made every effort to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My husband was the victim of a pickpocket on the train in Naples and Francesco even loaned us money until we were able to get more funds. We really appreciated Francesco's recommendations about what areas to explore and where to eat, and he even arranged a tour of Naples with a lovely couple, Sergio and Annemarie, which we enjoyed very much. The breakfasts on the terrace in the morning, and a glass of wine in the evenings were delightful and very relaxing. The breakfasts were wonderful with fresh fruit, yogurt, sweet rolls, toast, and especially the ham and cheese toasted sandwich! After our four days at the villa, we felt we were part of this lovely family and were really sad to leave. I give this b&b five stars out of five. Perfect!

  • Absolutely amaysing... Behond all of our expectation! Can't say more than that... Go and see for yourself, you wil remember this villa for ever!!

  • The place was ok. It is very hard to find. Our gps could not find it and we had to stop a couple of times to ask for directions. If you are planning to explore the area it is better to have a car because train only works until 9:00 PM.

  • It was very easy to communicate with this B&B, and they were happy to answer all of my questions. They were kind enough to pick me up from the train station and bring me and my luggage to the villa, which is absolutely gorgeous! It's been in the family for several generations and is filled with an incredible collection of furniture, art, and antiques. I didn't have dinner there, but breakfast was very tasty. I wish I could've stayed longer than a night!

  • Dear Emma, lovely, is the way you are and lovely is your home. We spend a wonderful time I'm Italy and we are happy we got the chance to know you. I hope we're going to see you and your family again! Best regards from Germany/ Romanien

  • Lola gave us excellent directions to her apartment as well as parking options. She used email to make sure we were all on the same page for arrival time and was there to greet us. Before she left us with her apartment she made us feel like it was really "ours" for the duration of our stay. The apartment was lovely and large and we really enjoyed shopping at the market and fixing our own meals, particularly breakfasts. She had a good collection of both Lonely Planet and Rick Steves books on France, and Provence in particular, along with a notebook of suggestions for restaurants. The location was on a quiet street just a block away from the fun busy activity of Avignon. Great location. We were able to find parking behind the apartment and found it easy to get into and out of the walls when we took side trips.

  • The host is very nice. We have good contact with each other. The house is big and clean:) It's a very wonderful trip~

  • Lola's apartment was beyond superb! Impeccably designed and decorated, clean and new (hotel grade worthy) household appliances and bedding, apartment was cozy and comfortable... I could go on! We are so in love! (I must say Lola not only has an eye for detail but for cleanliness too!) Her apartment is situated close to Avignon Centre train station and to town, location is perfect, transport convenient. There is Carrefour City, Tourism Centre, Avignon's key attractions close by so enjoy the stroll and take in the sights. Thank you Lola also for your prompt responses and for accommodating us. You've been warm and wonderful we will want to come back to your lovely apartment again! Thank you!!

  • Great flat in nice location. No AC so it does get very warm in the summer. But the flat is very well designed and decorated. On a third floor with steep steps so not great for older people or someone who has a hard time with stairs. It was great to have a beautiful kitchen and also a washer/ dryer v

  • It was very charming and cozy flat. Bedding is clean. Location is best for touring Avignon and using train station.

  • Great apartment in a great Location. Lola was really helpful. We totally recommend :)

  • Lola's apartment is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It's easy to get to from Avignon centre or Avignon TGV. The apartment is central and walking distance to Avignon's attractions. We will defintely book again with Lola when we return for a longer visit!

  • Lola's place was in a good location for us because it was very close to the TI (where our tour met) and train station. The apartment was clean. We did not meet Lola but her boyfriend met us to hand off the keys at the apartment and made it fairly easy.

Son Marimon, this B&B, is located in the municipality of Selva, at the feet of Serra de Tramuntana, recently declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is five minutes away from Lloseta, a village that offers the travellers everything they need: gastronomy, theatre, concerts, shows, historical neighbourhood, library and public transport –the train will allow the travellers reach Palma, Ciutat de Mallorca, in 25 minutes and Inca, where one of the most important markets of the island take place every Thursday, in 5 minutes. Wonderfully secluded, and still well connected, this 40m2 refugee also counts with 3600m2 of private land rich in autochthonous vegetation. The main characteristic of the house is how little it impacts on the surroundings in order to preserve the nature. Simple designs, hand crafted furniture, clay tiles (typical Majorcan material that tells the stories lived there) and beams create a space where comfort and tradition go together. The inner space comprises a sleeping room area, a sitting room with fireplace, a kitchen with oven, a microwave and fridge and an independent bathroom with shower. The outer space comprises two terraces with a table and hammocks and a big stone table and barbecue and a porch that can be given different uses. The hosts from the B&B Son Marimon will be delighted to help you plan a great range of activities including hiking, climbing, horse-riding routes (there is a possibility of also keeping the horses in the B&B), cultural routes, sailing, excursions to nearby villages or beaches, or any other interesting spot on the island. In conclusion, this is the perfect place to start exploring the island or stop, breathe and rest in total peace, experiencing the flavours of Majorcan countryside.
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Tomeu's place. He was very welcoming, his tips have been great and his cottage was ideal : confortable, spacious, and very clean! I recommend his apartment to anyone who would like to stay in Lloseta :) Loved the fireplace!

  • The atmosphere and tranquility of Tomeu's cottage are truly amazing. He very tastefully converted this cottage into something welcoming, homey and comfortable. The train station isn't far, the coast & beaches of Alcudia are only a 30min drive away as is Palma to the south. There are plenty of supermarkets, shops and restaurants in nearby Inca. The kitchen is well equipped and the place is very clean and not infested by mosquito or insects - that was very pleasant for a city boy like me! Still the best experience of all though was the hospitality of Tomeu and his wife, and communication was easy & very pleasant regardless of the spanish-english language barrier - kindness is a language of its own! I cannot recommend enough...

  • Absolutely lovely place. Very nice and quiet, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The cottage was very clean, nicely furbished and decorated, and had everything we needed. It was still a bit cold during the night so we had to lighten a fire but sitting by the fireplace in the evenings was absolutely great. It could get a little smoky from time to time, but it was okay as long as the window in the bathroom was open. Tomeu was a great host as well. He picked us up and brought us to the cottage and his son helped us with the translation from English to Spanish. :) They even offered us a traditional local Ensaimada and it was great.

  • Very nice cottage :-) We will come again!

  • My partner and I cannot recommend Tomeu and his place enough! He is simply the best host I have experienced to date with Airbnb. He went above and beyond in enhancing our Mallorca experiencing - even dropping off a traditional breakfast one morning and having a basket of food/wine for us the evening of our late arrival. The home itself is very private, comfortable, clean and beautiful. The town of Lloseta is a perfect location for exploring the island by car during the day, and then looking forward to a peaceful hub to come home to at night. Don't look anywhere else - book Tomeu's place if you have the opportunity! Thank you Tomeu.

  • Lovely cottage in the quiet village of Lloseta. Loved the open fired. Place was a good base to go out running/hiking. Tomeu was very welcoming and helpful. He even brought fresh pastries the morning after arrival.

  • if you want to spend a memorable vacation, this place is for you. very calm and quiet, no fuss. beautiful view, clean sea, nice and homely atmosphere. the house is very clean and beautiful. It has everything that you will need. Tomeu and his family are very hospitable, nice people. I was comfortable and pleasant to communicate with him. this family will accept you as their own and will always offer their help. I am very glad that my vision got this house, because it is better, I would have found nothing. the next time I go to Mallorca, I will certainly go to this house and advise you. thank you so much Tomeu and his family for your warmth, I miss you.

  • a fantastic little place in a natural surrounding, nature pure, view to the mountains and a perfect little House with fireplace fully equipped and loveley hosts. The location is perfect for excursions by feet, bike or car as it's in the middle of the island - half hour from everywhere. We'll come back for sure. Rike & Ekki from Germany

  • For a real taste of Sicily, stay at Antonio's! He can tell you everything about Sicilan culture and he cooks lovely - and typical Sicilian - food. Prepare for at least 3 courses! (meals cost about 25 euros and wine is included) He also prepares his own jam which you can enjoy at breakfast. The house and garden are big, you do need a car to get there. Antonio can give advice about all possible trips from Canicatti. We absolutely recommend staying at Antonio. (just one advice; bring bugspray).

  • I stayed a week with Antonio and it was delightful. My room was very comfortable and I had the use of the whole house. It was very charming and I felt I got a good feel for Sicilian living. I was in the area to explore my roots having grandparents from a little town nearby who migrated to America in the early 1900's. Antonio made me feel at home and welcomed. He made me wonderful meals and I got a "Taste of Sicily "experience . He was also gracious to be my driver and show me the sights of the area and some hidden sights I would never have found on my own. I never knew what we would come across or what secret delight we would encounter. Antonio kept apologizing for his poor English but we communicated quite well. I enjoyed the hospitality and feeling of home so much That when my husband arrives in Sicily we will return for 3 days. As I was traveling, alone Antonio would make sure I was all right and safe. He politely asked about my comfort and if I had any needs. We tried with the help of his friend to track down some relatives of mine. I had to gather more information and when my husband and I return hopefully we can connect as Antonio and his friend will do some more investigating. The home is centrally located to many wonderful sights some even on the World Heritage Site. I would recommend Antonio's place to get the Sicilian feel for life!

  • Ah, don't miss this place. Antonio and Sammy made us feel right at home. The house is so comfortable and we enjoyed a restful 2 nights before reluctantly moving on. Also, the meals were so wonderful with all of us dining together in the evening.

  • Very nice guy, helpful, both speak English. Room is big enough. It's a bit remote if you fancy going out for food or to visit Agrigento hkh need a car.

  • Antonio and Samiir were great hosts, very helpful and friendly. Antonio is a very good chef, he cooked for us a yummy vegetarian meal. The house and garden are very beautiful. We had a nice stay here and I would definitely recommend to book his apartment, if you go to Sicilia

  • Antonio's place was amazing! His house and garden are beautiful and I felt very welcome there. It's an experience you will not forget.

  • Staying at this location is all about staying with Antonio. He is a fabulous host! Easy to communicate with, attentive, and kind. We read previous reviews and decided we'd stay for the night and have dinner with Antonio. There was another couple staying as well and we enjoyed the most amazing home cooked meal. Antonio and Sammy joined us for the meal and it was such a delight. Antonio is an outstanding cook and the meal, complete with wine, was one of our best. Sammy was very attentive and a joy to dine with and hear the perspective of a young person. Great conversation, great food, and a good nights rest in the country. Thanks for everything Antonio and Sammy - belly rubs for Marta:)

  • It was absolutely amazing to stay with Antonio and Samy and we recommend it to everybody! We travelled with our 1 year old son and felt at home right away. The garden is beautiful and a perfect place to hang out, the food is incredible (and always plenty ;)), we had wonderful conversations and got many wonderful recommendations for day trips around the area. Thank you, Antonio and Samy, we are looking forward to seeing you in Berlin soon! :)

Our farmhouse is glad to give you hospitality in the Leccio apartment, it is indipendent and there's space for a couple and a third person. You will discover our organic food production and our natural lifestyle.
An organic, family-run agriturismo enterprise set in the peaceful hillsides amongst olive groves, vineyards and woodlands, overlooking the nearby Tuscany, at an altitude of 480 metres. The stone farmhouse, restored using bioedilizia (ecological construction) concepts, close to the wood, is made up of the main home and of the apartments for rent, each of these consists of: kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
The farmhouse is conveniently located for reaching the most important artistic, archaeological and naturalistic towns in Umbria and Tuscany.
  • Francesco and Luisa went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We were five friends, so we booked both apartments and are so happy that we did. We spent many of our days exploring Tuscany and Umbria and came back to the welcoming generosity and care of our hosts. Our meal with them was a highlight since the food and the conversation and the genuine joy of sharing was so evident. Francesco has made the furniture and his skill put us in awe. Luisa let us see the cheesemaking room and showed us the process, from the milking on. We failed at our attempts to milk the sheep which only gave us more admiration for her. The self-sufficiency of the farm with the sophistication of the energy use and conservation practices make us aware of our own lives in a new way. Internet was faster than I have at home, by the way. I think that the conversation and sharing of our lives was the best part of our stay in Italy. You can see a lot, you can do a lot, but the person to person contact was what we really had hoped for and what they gave us willingly.

  • We had an amazing time on Cimbolello farm, Francesco, Louisa and Nico and Eliza show us a great time. We learned all about their ecological agriculture, tried the handmade wine and cheese. We lounged on the hammocks in the wonderful afternoon sun, met the sheep, chickens, cats and dogs, and went for a walk in Citta della Pieve, enjoying the markets, cafes and marked signs for walking tours around this beautiful medieval village. Make sure you visit viocolo bacciadonna, the smallest street in Italy! Thank you for an amazing time, we will never forget. Jorge

  • What a wonderful stay we had at Cimbolello! The listing was as described but somehow much, much better. The property is just beautiful and tranquil - and the welcome by Francesco, Lucia and their dogs was perfect. Your hosts will make sure you have everything you need, they met us at the main road upon arrival and even had fresh eggs and homemade jam for our first breakfast. Francesco showed Rob his shop and house under construction when he realized he was a builder too. We slept very well and felt very comfortable. The location is super close to Citta del Pieve, which was a great surprise. The town is charming and has some great restaurants. Day trips to Lago Trasimeno and Orvieto were wonderful and super easy with a rental car. As many have said, definitely have a pasta dinner with your hosts. I have such fond memories of sitting by their fire and eating the delicious homemade pasta, cheese and tiramisu. Not to mention the homemade wine, limoncello, cognac and more! Cimbolello is a real place and a really excellent place that I hope to see again some day. Thank you SO much for your hospitality!

  • Francesco and Louisa were awesome hosts. We had a wonderful time seeing and learning about their farm. We exchanged italian and english lessons. Their homemade cheese and pasta was an awesome taste of Italy. The apartment was super cute, spacious, private and on the most beautiful little far up on the hill in Umbria. The one thing I recommend when you come and it is cold is to listen to Francesco about using the wood stove. It's free and the gas is not. We didn't get a good fire going and left the gas heat too high and ended up with a 20 euro bill. Anyway still this was our favorite spot in all of Italy, if you can make it work, you should come. I wish we could have spent more time with Francesco and Lousia.

  • The farm was a lovely place to stay for five nights. I was traveling alone and had nice companionship from Luisa and Francesco. I walked several times to Citta della Pieve and enjoyed its ancient streets and art, but was mostly content to hang around the farm and relax. The smaller of the two apartments was pleasant and comfortable, with plenty of garden space. It was interesting to experience this way of life. Highly recommended.

  • What a wonderful experience!! A big thank you to the lovely Francesco and Luisa for being such gracious hosts- always with a huge smile and willing to help with anything. The setting is quaint, quite and incredibly tranquille- the perfect getaway from a busy lifestyle. Would highly recommend!

  • We absolutely loved our stay at Luisa and Francesco's farm. They are such welcoming and generous hosts who offer a unique experience. Plan your trip so you can spend as much time here as possible

  • Francesco and Luisa are really nice and welcoming! The place is beautiful! In the middle of the nature, with animals. Their way of living is really inspiring. They make so good products!!! you can taste cheese, wine, fruits, marmelade, olive oil, and also lavande oil, a real pleasure for every senses! We'd love to be back as soon as we have an occasion. We highly recommend this place !

    Peaceful life in nature
A Big yurt of 50 m2 in the massif of Wallows in Savoy. Calm down in the middle of nowhere. The view (sight) is 360 ° on baujus mountains (Massif of Bauges). A lot of activities are nearby as trek, mountain bike, climbing and ski. In 30 mn, the lakes of Aix les Bains and Annecy. I know the region perfectly and could advise to you. I let some maps there. The yurt is a circular, good housing environment to get fresh ideas or meditate. A big wood stove warms the atmosphere. It is thus accessible summer and winter alike. In case of snowfall, it will be necessary to finish on foot, in rackets(snowshoes) or in skis according to your tastes. The last part of the way is cleared the snow. Of information about the area is available with a map of the area at 1/25000 th. Close to the yurt, is a small wooden chalet equipped for dry toilets and a shower to isolate. The wood is at will. The massif of Bauges is a very protected place, with the presence of lynx and many chamoises. The local products are delicious cheeses. Hope to see you soon!
  • Jean is amazing host, we came late and lost our way and he was waiting for us then showed us the place and prepared the fireplace . The yurt is nice and clean, nice experience to live in quite and relaxed area on the mountains when you don't hear people/cars around you (the street is 5 minutes by car) Also Jean offered us to charge the phones in his house:)

  • Amazing time there. The yurt is very comfi. The view is stunning and the atmosphere very charming. I will recommend this to a lot of people, it has something unique...

  • The yurt was just as we hoped. Really relaxing, peaceful setting. Jean-Luc was incredibly helpful and had great local knowledge. We would recommend it and hope to go back one day. Thank you to Jean-Luc for the experience!

  • Jean Luc's yurt was absolutely amazing. Loved living the simply life and getting back to nature. Jean Luc provided us with a photo of the yurt's location to help us get there without issues. The yurt was super secluded and great placed to get away and enjoy great views of the Alps. The yurt has all the basic necessities for simply life living. Recommend to all travelers willing to get away from the traditional hotel experience.

  • We loved our stay in the yurt, beautiful surrounds, fantastic walking and such a warm fireplace. A very unique experience and different way to see this gorgeous area of France! We did not have a car, and as it was school holidays the bus to Lescheraines was only at night, so if you too don't have a car just be aware if its holidays or not! We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go after that though and the lack of car was no disadvantage to us.Thank you Jean Luc for providing this for us!

  • The yurt was such a peaceful place to spend a weekend. And what a beautiful surprise to wake up in a landscape covered in snow! It is very well equipped with everything you could need (including a sledge, snow shoes and plenty of firewood for those wintery days!). Jean Luc is very helpful and went out of his way to welcome us on Friday night, despite our late arrival. Thank you! We would certainly go back for another experience and recommend it to all our friends.

  • The yurt is very nice and cozy. We are a family with three kids and all slept very comfortable there. Thanks to the stove it wasn't cold after rain. It's so great to live so close to nature in such a beautiful landscape, with no one around but cows:) Thank you, Jean Luc!

  • We had a great time at the yurt. We never ended up meeting Jean Luc, but his daughter showed us round and all worked out nicely. The place was very comfortable and quiet up in the hills. Wasn't as secluded as we may have expected, you can see the neighbouring farm house down the road. However the neighbours keep to themselves so it's not a problem

Private island in the beautiful archipelago of Hvaler; the municipality with the highest number of sunny days per year in Norway!
Try fishing, sunbathing, swimming or simply go on a boat trip to one of the other islets or islands in this wast archipelago.
  • Eivind was really welcoming and also picked us up from Frederikstad to take us to the Island. We were surprised at the range of supplies/utensils that are in the cabin; everything you need for your stay minus food! The island the cabin is situated on is a perfect size and very quiet and the larger islands surrounding are so picturesque; we spent the holiday exploring them on foot and with the boat provided. This Airbnb listing is the complete package, as are the hosting skills of Eivind. Thank you for making our holiday memorable!

  • Eivind's island was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary-the island is such a treasure! It's our best anniversary so far- definitely beats the typical spa hotel we normally end up with. We brought our baby (four months) and the bed downstairs worked perfectly as a little cot for her. Eivind and his family were lovely and welcoming, and we especially appreciated that they were available at all times. The island is close to main land, which was comforting because we didn't need to worry about bad weather. All in all- a great place to stay!

  • I was looking for something out of the ordinary to treat my husband on his birthday. I couldn’t have chosen a better place! We spent four relaxing and amazing days on this little paradise. The silence is magic, the surrounding idyllic, the perfect place to recharge ones batteries. The cabin has everything you need, every evening we enjoyed a lovely barbecue, we had a fun time exploring the surroundings by boat. Eivind is caring and friendly host who patiently waited for us since we drove in a totally wrong direction on our arrival day, he helped us getting our luggage on to the island and checked on us later on to see if we were doing fine. I can strongly recommend a break on this heavenly island. Thanks Eivind for sharing your property with us.

  • Eivind is a very good host. He provided all necessary information and instructions to ensure us a very nice week at Hvaler. We had a relaxing and interesting week. I would recommend both Eivind as a host in general and his cabin at Hvaler in particular to anyone.

  • I don't think we will ever experience anything as amazing as we did by visiting Cecilie & Eivind’s little island. The images of the cabin online were already amazing but to see it in person & experience it, is priceless! If you want to create memories & spend quality time with family/friends you will never need to go anywhere else. Myself, my husband & my sister went together for a detox and part of our honeymoon travels. We cooked the best meals we've ever had over their outdoor fire space, we played card games, popped corn, watched amazing sunsets and sunrises, all in November! Cecilie & Eivind are just so lovely & kind, the checkin experience was great, they greeted us and brought us over to the island and went through everything, all on top of an insane sunset. Then we had a boat to use at our disposal. which we did. Images won't do it justice, I WISH I could share images of our trip as part of our review but if you want to see for yourself just search #YellowProductionsNorway on Instagram and you'll see the amazing time we had. 100% recommend.

  • We were amazed by how beautiful the island and it's surroundings were. We were so lucky to have arrived just as the baby birds were hatching on the island. We visited nests and watched the eggs hatch, were visited by a swan family and their three fluffy cygnits who came really close to us! Beautiful, hot weather and even an amazing thunder storm which was our favourite day of the holiday! The boat is intuitive and we learned how to use it quickly. We were anxious at first but there was something very satisfying about mastering it and taking it to different parts of Hvaler. The cabin is so comfortable and sweet and romantic. I loved the ritual of boiling a kettle and preparing food on the little gas, camping stove. We had a great BBQ too. Thre are some local shops where we bought our groceries and you can moor the boat right by the shops. We will definitely come back to stay again as soon as we can. Eivind and his son were really kind and helpful and made the experience feel very safe.

  • The island is great and we had a wonderful trip with the boat. Eivind was very friendly and helpful. Love to come back sometimes.

  • Eivind's island was incredible - such a lovely place and charming cabin with everything you need. Relaxing boatrides, going for a swim and just enjoying the incredible scenery really helped us to unwind. Eivind was a perfect host and provided everything for us. Can't recommend this place enough!

  • We loved our stay at CHARMING HOUSE Seaside & Pine Forest. Agnes & Fred have a beautiful home on the edge of the forest. It is even more beautiful than the photographs and Agnes and Fred provided everything we needed in terms of kitchen equipment, bedding, towels, wifi and cinema equipment as well as attention to every detail. My son and his friend enjoyed surfing great waves at several of the nearby surf spots. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and Fred and Agnes were so helpful every step of the way. We highly recommended this home in Labenne,France to best enjoy a truly French experience that many tourist never see.

  • We have just returned from the most wonderfully relaxing, family holiday at this beautiful house :) Couldn't have asked for more in terms of it's location right on the edge of the pine forest, a five minute drive to the beach at Labenne and proximity to Biarritz airport. The house itself was just lovely - modern, bright, light and airy with all the mod cons you could possibly need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The perfect home away from home! The pool was a real highlight, especially with the children - we were in it everyday as temps reached over 30 degrees all week and our evenings were spent eating BBQ outside on the deck! Agnes, Fred and their agents in Labenne were helpful and prompt on all occasions throughout the booking process and our stay. Our only regret was that we didn't book to stay longer!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay in Labenne, the house is situated in a quiet residential area surrounded by woods and you have a supermarket, patisserie and other food places nearby. We visited Capbreton, Biarittz and Bayonne whilst we were there and would recommend them. The hosts were very good with communication and very kindly left a bottle of prosecco in the fridge for us as we were celebrating my daughters first birthday whilst we were there. The house is well decorated throughout and was equipped with a travel cot, attachable baby seat for the table, monitor, toys and books so this was all very handy. There were bikes to ride and also a baby/toddler seat to attach to the bike and a baby swimming ring. Thank you for having us stay in your lovely house!

  • We stayed at the house for 2 weeks in September. Everything was perfect and I can highly recommend for 4 to 6 persons! It is very calm place at the end of a dead end road, close to a beautiful oak wood. The pool is fantastic and and I personally enjoyed very much to cook outside at the Plancha :-) Very warm and friendly welcome from Nadia (Property Manager) and after a short explanation we felt like at home from the first minute. Although not present in Labenne Agnes and Fred took very much care and were very interested in how anything goes during our stay. Thanks for all, this was one of our best experiences ever renting a house. Andy

  • We had a fantastic time in Labenne. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. The house is in a quiet area next to beautiful woodland and is not far from the great beach at Labenne Ocean. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the South West of France.

  • A really great house in very calm and tranquil surroundings. It felt very private, even though there were houses and amenities very nearby. It was the perfect base for our family to stay at; the kids loved the forest, and the walks to the beach were wonderful.

  • Our host Agens was there on our arrival - very welcoming. The house is gorgeous and clean and in a lovely tranquil setting. Highly recommend it to everyone especially with a family - Karen

  • As some of the previous reviews have said this is a great property in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Labenne. We particularly liked the large deck, which always had shaded areas even on the sunniest days, and the wifi coverage - which was excellent. The pool was slightly smaller than we expected but it was more than adequate. We liked the fact that it was one depth (4.5 feet) throughout. The house is quite a distance from both the beach and the local shops so we had to drive to both. Agnès and Fred were great hosts. They always replied very promptly and sent some very helpful suggestions for local markets and things to do. The property manager (Nadia) was very efficient and after check-in she emailed a detailed inventory which included the things that weren't working and needed to be fixed. These included a broken shutter (which was fixed during our stay) and the automatic open/close mechanism for the gate. All in all we had a great week and we would definitely recommend this property.

  • Dory e Daniele are very warm, generous hosts. On arrival we were greeted with beautiful fresh pastries and a bottle of yummy prosecco. The apartment is magnificent with every possible comfort. It is in the most amazing part of Puglia, within easy driving distance of gorgeous towns, Lecce, Castro and Otranto.

  • This home was even better than the pictures!!! It was the perfect place for our large family, with plenty of room for the nine of us. Dory and her friend, Federico were the perfect hosts. Federico, who speaks fantastic English, met us as soon as we made it to town and took us straight to the home, which has one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Dory (who also has very good English) has done such a wonderful job in decorating and making the house as close to "home" as possible, with everything one could possibly need. The porch overlooking the ocean is breathtaking. Definitely try to get up to see the sun rise. It's worth the early hour. I REALLY hope we can make it back in the future and I will DEFINITELY see if this home is available. It was the perfect couple of days and I really wish we could have stayed longer, but our schedule didn't allow for it. Thank you for such a wonderful, comfortable, RELAXING place to stay.

  • La Salentina is a lovely home. I traveled alone so it was much larger than I needed but I felt very cozy. The area is beautiful as well. Dory and Federico had great communication and I felt very taken care of. Thank you!!

  • Six of us, all adults, stayed in Dory's beautiful house by the sea at Guardiola. Dory met us in the local village and guided us to her house where she showed us around and let us settle in. The next person to arrive was Federico who told us all about the area and offered friendly suggestions for trips and visits. Nothing was too much trouble for Dory, she was very attentive without being intrusive. The house was spotlessly clean and ready for us to move in and enjoy our holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped, the terrace is huge and with an amazing view over the Aegean Sea. Thank you Dory for making us so welcome. The people of the region are so friendly and this area of Puglia is beautiful. We will certainly return to Dory's house.

  • Dory was an excellent host. Communication was easy and Dory gave advice on her favourite places to eat. She also put us in touch with her friend Federico who was also On hand to inform us about shopping, travel, things to see etc. the property is delightful and peaceful. Large beautiful terrace overlooking the Adriatic. Peaceful, relaxing yet with all mod cons. Had a great stay and Dory kept checking in to ensure we were OK. Secluded location but within 15-30 mins of all Main attractions on this part of the coast. Thanks Dory, we will be back!

  • It is a great house in summer and you have a phantastic view from the two terraces. Every morning you can watch the sunrise. At the end of October and the beginning of November when it gets dark and cool at 5pm the kitchen is quite small for 8 adults. And so is the room with the bunk beds. And maybe it's because we're German, but some of us felt cold with a sheet and just a very thin blanket. But we used the beadcovers ,too, and it worked well. The "welcomepresents" were phantastic including fine pastry, prosecco and a fridge with loads od fruit. Thank you so much for that. Last I shouldn't forget to mention the support of Frederico, a friend of the house. He supported us as much as possible, helped to hire some bikes, gave useful information about shops and sights etc. Mille grazie, Frederico!

  • Its a wonderful place, it is remote with great views. The house is bright and comfortable.

  • To say we had a wonderful experience is truly an understatement! Dori and her husband were our hosts and they were just amazing. The house is most certainly stunning, but the hosts also contributed a lot to our experience. We were greeted in town by frederico who took us to the villa, it is quite out of the way so you will need guidance, but this is what makes the house so amazing. At the house Dori an her husband greeted us with freshly baked bread and a lovely bottle of Prosseco. My husband ha a dental emergency and Dori organised an appointment for us at the dentist. They even drove us there! When we wanted to go to dinner Dori made a reservation for us and sent directions. We were also provided with WiFi. To The house is out of the way and you will need a car, but it is set in a beautiful place overlooking the ocean with a gorgeous veranda. Top quality amenities can be found including a dishwasher and washing machine. There is a very cute bar about 500m from the house overlooking the cliffs and ocean. This is a must see! There is also a beautiful view over the ocean if you drive down the mountain. This was amazing and exactly what we were looking for.:peaceful, beautiful, non tourist, and an absolute stay to remember!!!!!!!

  • Really nice clean house !! We enjoyed our stay very much :) It's possible to walk from the house into the mountains trough the garden.

  • What a wonderful, wonderful place - totally unique, absolutely beautiful. We managed to relax totally. So much to do nearby and portugal is lovely -very clean, great food, beautiful beaches. We will definitely be back. Thank you Rui and Rosalie for all your help and advice/info.x

  • Rui and wife Rosali are fantastic, generous and communicative hosts. Rosali greeted us with a thorough tour of the property and provided us with wonderful recommendations for markets and restaurants. Casa Rio is a beautifully designed and equipped lodging and will appeal to those who appreciate a quiet, serene, natural setting. It is a restorative and tranquil retreat but also very close to the best that northern Portugal has to offer with easy access to beaches, towns and culture in the nearby cities of Braga and Guimares. We also enjoyed side trips into Galician Spain from Casa Rio. We found our hosts to be wonderfully responsive in communicating with us and eager to assist when we needed to ship a camera accessory left by us in Alentejo at our previous lodging. We loved the thoughtful selection of English literature, movies and music at the house. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we especially loved the vintage coffee grinder for our morning lattes! In sum, we would highly recommend Casa Rio and hope to return before long.

  • Simply a wonderful place in a fantastic area. And for those rainy days: a great collection of books, CDs and DVDs available!

  • We had very relaxing holidays in Casa do Rio! beautiful surroundings, charming and comfortable house and perfect hosts! Rui and Rosali are really nice and helpful people and the house is perfectly renovated, clean and has everything you need. This is a very special place and we hope to come back soon. Thank you!

  • Rosalie & Rui we're very hospitable and helpful. The house is located in a beutiful location. Only issue we had was with the hot water in the shower which was unreliable but once fixed it's a great holiday location!

  • This place is a treasure! The house is elegantly furnished and cosy. It is a quick drive from a supermarket in Ancora and close to Pointe da Lima and other interesting towns/ villages. There is a good collection of golden oldy music, books and DVD'S and we could really unwind before the next leg of our trip. It is the perfect little romantic cottage situated in the countryside.

  • Nice spot, nice house, nice hosts. Nuff said.

  • Raimundo couldn't have been a more welcoming and thoughtful host. He is a genuinely nice man and was truly committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. He spent a good hour with us upon our arrival going over the amenities of the apartment and providing us a map with personalized directions for getting to various sights and locations throughout the city. He truly bent over backwards to make us feel welcome to this wonderful city. He also helped us set up a cab pickup to the airport, which left us one less thing to worry about on our last day. The property itself is very conveniently located in the El Born district, within walking distance of the beach, the Gothic quarter, the Ramblas, the Barcelona Cathedral and just a minute or two walk to a Metro station. • Raimundo's care for his place and his guests is unparalleled! He greeted us upon arrival and sat down to walk through the apartment and all of his recommendations. The apartment is in a great location and makes for a beautiful, one-of-a-kind stay in a charming city.

  • This flat is the most beautiful space in the most beautiful location. We absolutely loved every minute of staying here, and we were so disappointed we weren't staying in Barcelona longer. This flat is immaculate and has AC which was a huge plus... I hope Raimundo keeps this place on Airbnb for a long time because we are absolutely coming back and I would only stay here. Raimundo (the host) was probably the nicest person I've ever met. He was so excited to have us as guests, and he was honored that we chose his place (he told us many times!). He stayed with us for almost an hour to explain the area, restaurant suggestions, etc. We ended going to all of his suggestions and they were AWESOME. GREAT place, GREAT host, GREAT area... You must book with Raimundo if you're staying in Barcelona!

  • This is an extremely well located and comfortable apartment despite being on the 4th floor so close to everything in a quiet neighbourhood. Make sure you eat across the road at Casaloloea which is excellent and close too. Raimundo is very helpful and knowledgeable about the beautiful city of Barcelona. stay as long as you can as there is so much to see and do.

  • Raimundo's flat was fantastic. It was well set up for our week in Barcelona. It had everything we needed for cooking, washing our clothes etc. The bed was comfortable with extra duvet provided as nights can be cold. Climate control was easy to operate. The location was wonderful close to metro stations and within easy walking distance to lots of Barcelona attractions. Also close to many eateries, supermarkets and a fabulous fresh food market. Being on the 4th floor the 86 stairs may present a challenge for some guests - especially getting bags and suitcases up and down! Communication was excellent. Raimundo was a great host answering all of our questions in a friendly helpful way. His friend Montse who greeted us was delightful. Highly recommended as a place to stay in beautiful Barcelona.

  • Raimundo was a fantastic host and the apartment is perfect. The space has everything you could need, has plenty of storage to unpack and store clothes in, and is nice and quiet. All of Raimundo's restaurant recommendations were excellent-- there are some great places to eat or grab a drink near the apartment, and a phenomenal market nearby. We loved staying so close to all of the sights we wanted to visit while being far enough away to feel like we were staying in a real neighborhood. I highly recommend this apartment, and will definitely seek it out again the next time we're in Barcelona!

  • all very good

  • This apartment is amazing. It is clean, spacious for two people and the location is great. You are very central and can get around easy to all the tourist sites. Raimundo was a great host. He was very helpful and he made everything easy. Raimundo provided a detailed overview on where to visit and marked this all on a map whilst explaining. He was agreat host and made this visit such a pleasure. I would recommend this apartment to anyone due how good the apartment is and the fact Raimundo is an amazing host.

  • Tessa's house is an amazing piece of art! We stayed in her beautiful living room on the sofa bed for just one night and had to leave very early the next morning. Tessa was very kind and perfectly understood our needs as tired stop over travellers. She helped us organise our traveling schedule for the next morning and even went to a local coffee shop to make sure we would get a neat super early breakfast there. We had a very cosy stay at hers and would have loved to take lots of photos of her beautiful home. Definitely a cute gem close by buzzing Camden town. Thanks a lot, Tessa!

  • Another wonderful airbnb experience in Tessa’s lovely home. In addition to the fantastic location in the heart of Camden and minutes from the markets and great places to eat, Tessa’s home is a joy where to simply walk up the stairs takes an age as you gaze in wonder at her collection of pretty much everything you could ever imagine. A particular favourite was a collection of old board games and a box full of tiddlywinks! And the addition of an internal swimming pool for our exclusive use was a delight (caused by a slight plumbing emergency since rectified!) We only managed a few brief conversations with Tessa but she was the most perfect host and will be back in the New Year to further explore the local area and Tessa’s unique decor and hopefully find out more about Tessa’s creative adventures. Highly recommended, very individual, and totally unique. Martin and Caroline

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Tessa's cozy apartment. She really anticipated guests needs and had toiletries, a hairdryer and hair straightener, earplugs, and clothing rack, for example. In addition, she had a stack of guides and information about the ins and outs of the city. Even the taxi company she recommended was timely and agreed on fair price in advance of our pick up. She was able to give advice on transportation and even was kind enough to print out our boarding passes for our flight home. We also loved Tessa's place because it reflects the eclectic, interesting, and fun neighborhood that is Camden Town. We frequented the Market every day for breakfast (Cereal Killer Cafe is a MUST!) and there are a number of great restaurants and bars in the area, as well. (Try The Diner for an American-style breakfast or Yum Cha for cheap and tasty dumplings and pan-Asian fare). I love the location because it's really in the middle of so much. You can pop over to Hampstead Heath for a lazy afternoon in the park and visit the famed Highgate Cemetery. It's about a 5 minute walk to the tube from Tessa's and the Northern Line can take you most places in 15-20 minutes or less. We would definitely recommend staying at Tessa's. The layout of the apartment is wonderful for renting out - your bedroom and the kitchen are on one floor and Tessa's bedroom and the bath are on the next. There is a lot of privacy which is nice and unexpected for renting a room. You have your own key and can come and go as you please. Thanks again, Tessa!

  • Tessas home is a piece of art. Everywhere you find things arranged with artistic sense of color, shape and little details. She doesn´t go for "less is more". Tessa is a generous "more is not enough"person - and her home is a reflection of that. We, my 17 year old daughter and I, spend a 4 day mother/daughter living in Tessas house. It was perfect!. The place is very well situated 5 min from the Camden Market, near transport, cafés and restaurants.Tessa seems to know everything worth knowing about London ( and if she doesn´t, she will find out in a split second). The last night talking about what had been the best of our trip, staying with Tessa came in strong. If you are looking for an extraordinary place to stay with a welcoming and warm atmosphere, this is it!

  • The house is nice and cosy, almost felt like I was visiting a member of the family. Tessa is an absolutely amazing host, offered me warm clothes and everything needed( I enjoyed my 5 star bathrobe :) ). I have lived in London for 2 years and Tessa was still very helpful and knowledgeable of what's happening in London. She definitely takes the extra step and makes sure you have a great visit and that you make the most of it. The neighbourhood is great and easy to get around town: 2 min away from camden road overground and 6 min to camden town tube on the northern line. I highly recommend this stay in London!

  • Tessa's home is an absolute gem of a find. It's in a fantastic location, less than ten minute walk from both the Camden Town underground station and the Camden Road overground. The house itself is fantastic- there is so much to see! I wish we'd had time to spend a day just in the house exploring! The room is really comfortable and beautiful and we had everything we needed. Tessa even provided hot water bottles, earplugs and toiletries, along with what you'd expect. Tessa is lovely. Even before we came to stay, she had emailed me information of nearby places to visit and there was ample leaflets etc in the room plus she was on hand to help with anything we needed. So friendly too and such good taste in decor! My husband and I would certainly recommend staying with Tessa and I will definitely be keeping her details to stay there next time we visit London.

  • Very nice appartment, very clean. Tessa is a great host and made my stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

  • Tessa is so warm and welcoming and so is her lovely home. It was a real treat to stay there - so much so that I will definitely book again. It is thankfully a world away from an anonymous beige hotel room and I only wish that I could have stayed longer. The location was superb and breakfast at nearby Arancini's was delicious. It cannot be faulted in any way!

***** Featured at Condé Nast Traveler "The Most Popular Airbnb in Every European Country", Jan 2018 ***** ***** Featured on HUFFINGTON POST and PureWow article: "Amazing Places You Can Stay Around The World For Less Than $50 A Night", Aug 2015 ***** Right next to the Perast museum, our studio apartment has a spacious terrace with a magnificent view on the two most beautiful attractions of the Bay of Kotor: islands of Sv. Đorđe and Lady of the rocks.
Right next to the Perast museum, our studio apartment has a spacious terrace with a magnificent view on the two most beautiful attractions of the Bay of Kotor: islands of Sv Đorđe and Lady of the rocks. This charming, rustic studio apartment has a large private terrace with extraordinary view of the islands, equipped with outside dining table so you can enjoy your meals al fresco with a view. It is located right on the waterfront. There is one double bed and one sofa which is easily expandable to a double bed, so the apartment is perfect for couples or families with children. The bathroom is located downstairs, down a spiral staircase. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the kitchenware and dishwasher. Necessary amenities like washing machine, iron and ironing board, air conditioner etc. are provided. Baby crib can be available upon request.
Perast is a pitoresque, historic town in the Bay of Kotor with two small islands: one is called Sveti Đorđe and the other Gospa od Škrpjela (Our Lady of the Rocks), and each has a picturesque chapel. Gospa od Škrpjela is particularly interesting given that it is the only artificially-built island in the Adriatic, and it can be reached by small boats operating from the small dock next to the apartment.
  • Nela's apartment is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Bay of Kotor. The apartment has everything you need, and the view from the sun deck is about as good as it can get. Nela and team was very helpful, with lots of tips and information about Perast and the surrounding area. All our questions were promptly answered (in fact generally addressed without us having to ask them). Highly recommended!

  • This is my 4th visit to Perast and Nela's apartment is the best apartment I have stayed at. Each experience he been wonderful in Perast, but Nela's apartment is special in that it is right on the water front with a large terrace; quite a luxury in this small town. The inside was humble yet practical, and clean. It has everything you need.

  • You could not get a more perfect location - the view from Nela's place was incredible! Felt truly like a dream. The apartment itself was a little on the small side as everything is basically in the one room, but it is furnished with love and care. Nela was an amazing host, providing plenty of information to get the most out of our stay! Perast is a very small town, we visited off-peak so it was very quiet, with many older local guys wondering the streets at night. Being a group of three young girls we felt a little vulnerable at times, but realistically was not an issue! Montenegro is a hidden gem and this place was an absolute dream!!!

  • Can't beat the location, the terrace and the view. Absolutely gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • We stayed at Nela's apartment for five days in June. Communication with Nela was excellent throughout the booking process. We arrived during a freak thunderstorm and had to be diverted to Dubrovnik. Transport around Perast was difficult because of the amount of rain that was falling and some roads were flooded. This might have been a very fraught experience but Nela was constantly in touch by text, giving advice and organising a taxi to pick us up. She really couldn't have been more helpful or considerate and I cannot praise her too highly. During our time there we met four of her representatives who were all kind, pleasant and professional. Perast is a beautiful small town with about six cafes strung along the waterfront. It is situated in an extraordinarily picturesque setting looking across a bay towards two small islands and surrounded by mountains. This is the view from the apartment's terrace and it really is breathtaking by both day and night- and especially at dusk. The terrace is what this apartment is about. There cannot be a better view in Perast and it is hard to tear yourself away from just gazing dreamily ahead. There are a lot of day trippers going past but they are slightly below you and we didn't find it a problem at all. The apartment itself is quite small with some quirky features and it could feel a bit cramped if it was necessary to stay inside. It was well equipped, though. The bathroom is down a flight of stairs and has a washing machine. The wifi worked fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is all about the outside rather than the inside and the description of it as having extraordinary views is absolutely accurate.

  • Large shady verandah was great place to hang out on - didn't see anywhere else in town to match it. Good space inside, with lots of Nela's personal things decorating it. She let us leave late on our last day which was much appreciated.

  • This is a wonderfully well located apartment with an superb terrace view. The apartement is well stocked with necessities and it is a brilliant base to explore the Bay of Kotor and Montenegro. Nela was a flexible, responsive and helpful host with willing local helpers to support. Highly recommended.

  • Great cozy place with an amazing view on the Bay. The host was very helpful with describing the area and things to do. Thank you!

  • They greet me with a convenient bus terminal. Thank you so conveniently provided.

  • I had a great time in Hvar with my parents . Ivana' s mom welcomed us she was very kind and sweet . The apartment has a nice whole ocean view and very closed to fotress

  • What an amazing location - everything we could have hoped and more! We enjoyed the private terrace every day, and it was a great way to escape the crazy parties near the port at the end of the night. The apartment is a bit small, but served us just fine, especially since we were outside or on the terrace most of the time. Would highly recommend this apartment!

  • Nice apartment on the hills... good panorama over Hvar's bay. Full equipped and cosy. The photo illustrates an external terrasse, next to the apartment, suitable for breakfasting or lunching in sunny days.

  • You must stay here! It has the most incredible view and everything you need to make you stay a special one in Hvar. It was clean, tidy and very good value. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much, we can't wait to visit again!

  • Awesome location and great apartment. Just a short walk away. His mom even kept our luggage in her home until we took our ferry at night, that was very nice. Very clean. We loved our stay

  • Ivana's apartment in Hvar is lovely and the view from the terrace is absolutely amazing. It's well worth the climb up from the main square and I'd definitely recommend staying here. Ivana was really quick to reply to emails as we booked the apartment last minute whilst on holiday in Hvar as we wanted to stay on the island for an extra day/night which made sorting out accommodation easy!

  • Great apartment. Loved sitting on the terrace watching the harbour. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is large and with lots of sunlight. It has 5 small balconies and one terrace. There are 3 rooms, a small, middle and a large. In addition, there is two loft rooms under the roof with half height, furnished with beds. Please notice two things before you book 1) Our apartment is on the 5th floor without elevator 2) Please be considerate towards our neighbours – do not make noise. Use the balconies towards the street, instead of the terrace.
Please notice a few things before you book 1) Our apartment is on the 5th floor without elevator 2) Please be considerate towards our neighbours – do not make noise. Use the balconies towards the street, instead of the terrace. 3) A Metro station is being build outside at the moment. This means noise especially when you have the windows and doors open. 4) The furniture has changed a bit since the pictures were taken - for example, there is no TV now 5) Forbidden in my apartment: party, heavy drinking, loud music, shouting, ringing the wrong door bell, loud voices in the staircase – and anything the like which can disturb my neighbors. The apartment is large and with lots of sunlight. It has 5 small balconies and one terrace. There are 3 rooms, a small, middle and a large. In addition, there is two loft rooms under the roof with half height, furnished with beds. We have beds for 10 persons. I can also arrange for extra mattresses. The apartment is suited for families with smaller children: we have a high chair (IKEA), kids books etc. and there is not so much that children can destroy in the apartment. You are welcome to use the back yard. There are several playgrounds for children within 500 meters of the building. The apartment is 3,3 km from Nørreport station. 15 minutes with bus 6a. The apartment is close to: local cafés, Nørrebrogade (street with shops), Fælledparken (large park), supermarkets, green grocery, and the train stations Bispebjerg and Nørrebro. The apartment is situated on the 5th floor and there is no elevator. It is a no-smoking apartment, but you can smoke on the balconies. You cannot have pets in the building. Regarding your arrival time we will talk about what can fit both for you and us. Often I will suggest you to come directly from the airport/ train station to get keys and leave your luggage. And if the apartment is not ready at that time, you can go to the city and come back later.
Nørrebro is diverse and multi-culturel. Nørrebro is inhabited mainly by young people, students, foreigners and 2. and 3. generation immigrants. But there is also a lot of families with small children, hence the many playgrounds. The large ethnic population provide Nørrebro with an abundance of green groceries and shawarma grills. Nørrebro is densely populated and therefore lively anytime a day; bars, cafes, restaurants, shopping, kids in parks and playgrounds, young people hanging out on skates etc. Don´t miss to visit the modern outdoor space: Superkilen. Superkilen is a bike cycle lane through the city, but also amazing parks and spaces alone the way
  • Everything went smoothly and the apartment was perfect for a group of colleagues.

  • Sidsel was an amazing and very kind host, everything went smooth and we could use the house right away at the check-in time. Me and my 6 friends stayed in the apartment for 5 days and we were absolutely excited by it. There was everything we needed as the house was very well equipped. The place was very spatial and brigt and we also enjoyed view from the balconies.

  • Edmond & Sidsel were wonderful and helpful hosts. Their vast and bright apartment definitely made our stay better and more enjoyable.

  • Spacious & nice appartment, 10 minutes from city center (bus 6A) or a 20min walk. Excellent location when visiting the city for a weekend or mid-week with 4 to 8 people. Wifi available.

  • We had a wonderful experience in Copenhagen and Edmond's apartment was the perfect place to stay! Edmond was very responsive and helpful prior to our arrival. The apartment was lovely and spacious, close to public transportation, and equipped with all we needed to be comfortable.

  • We had a great time in Copenhagen and the apartment really was as good as the photos. It was just what we needed as a family of four with teenagers as everybody could have their own space. Edmond was flexible with the arrangements to collect the keys which was really helpful. We had great few days exploring Copenhagen.

  • Thanks for this great experience!!! staying at Edmonds place was really great. Its a very nice place with lots of room for lots of people. we were 7 and there would have been space for more. Arriving and everything was very easy, contact before without any issues. Kitchen is stuffed well, supermarkets close, all together: It was really nice, nothing to complain!!

  • The flat was as described and in a good location for public transport into the centre of Copenhagen. We found the property an excellent base and Edmond made us feel very welcome. Two things to be aware of are that the upstairs 'bedrooms' are accessed by open ladders and in our opinion are not suitable for some adults and young children and there is a lot of traffic noise which can be a problem in hot weather when you need to have the windows open. Overall we were very pleased with this accommodation.

  • Awesome experience overall. Easy peasy plus gorgeous gorgeous. Nice staff Zachos and cleaning lady. Amazing place we will never forget. Great location away from the madness of Fira. Very quiet and peaceful. Many steps so not for mobility challenged but so worth the effort. Imerovigli is a great town to stay in. Local bus service was great for excursions. Caldera views are one of a kind. Romantic and quiet place.

  • Wonderful location. Stefanos was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. The apartment is very close to everything you need including: coffee, groceries, bakery and restaurants but still feels very private and isolated. Would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to others.

  • Stunning view apartment. You can definitely enjoy the best of Santorini here. Very well located, close to bus stops to oia and fira, good restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the sunset! The apartment offers daily cleaning service, and they change your bed sheets and towels daily.

  • This is a great little studio. It had everything that we needed but the best part was the fact that the terrace was very private and not overlooked. Stefanos had arranged for a transfer from the airport which was there when we arrived and we were dropped off at Square Galli where Zachos, Stefanos' assistant was there to meet us. A wonderful weekend - before we moved to the larger Coco and Belle.

  • Stefanos was a very helpful and attentive host! We were greeted and taken to the room. The pictures of the views really don't give it justice. The room was cleaned every day, fresh towels were given along with flowers on the bed! Within a 2 minute walk are deli food shops, car rentals, a pharmacy, reastraunts and more. My girlfriend and I would definitely recommend Stefanos' place!

  • Amazing place! Yannis and Zachos were so helpful on arrival and departure and made us feel so welcome (they arranged our airport transfers which were much appreciated). The property is lovely, with the best view in Santorini! We spent so many evenings on the beautiful terrace watching the sunset and enjoying Santorini wine, it really was worth the price! I would highly recommend staying here as there is everything you require and the area of Imerovigli is beautiful, quieter than Fira and Oia with regards to tourists, so you get the real feeling of living there. The surrounding restaurants are lovely (Aegeon and la maison were our favourites), there is a bus stop to Fira & Oia with buses going every 20-30 minutes. There are a few shops to get groceries and good local wine, and great sunset and volcano views. Highly recommend Santorini Sailing (just on the main road) for a semi private sunset cruise whilst you are there, transfers and all food/drink included, worth paying the extra for this, really well looked after. A great stay at a great apartment, we'll definitely be back!! Thanks Yannis & Zachos!! xx

  • Wonderful place to stay while visiting Santorini. We had a very special reason to visit the island and so chose a very special place to stay. We were very happy with out stay. Spectacular views and great hosts. Thank you.

  • Dear Airbnb readers. I found the staff and service I received at Miamo to be excellent. Stefanos was very available every time we called. He communicated quickly and was knowledgeable. His team was helpful, cheerful and available. The am we had to leave one of his staff had to meet us 415AM to help with bags. He as on time and helpful. The place is beautiful, view is breath taking and Santorini is amazing… We will be back. Regards, David

  • We were met by Biagio´s mother ,who was really nice. The Trullo is lovely, located in the countryside, beautifully restored, but still has the original features. Personally it was too hot for me, we arrived when the temperature was 37 celcius. And there is no aircon or fan. The wi-fi didn´t work and we had contact to Biagio about that, he tried to solve the problem. So he did what he could do. Despite all this, I can recommend the place ,it is good for relaxing and to try to live in such af nice Trullo.

  • A beautiful trullo in a beautiful part of Puglia at a time of year when the "garden" of the val d'itria is glowing with yellow & orange wild flowers. Nothing was too much trouble for our very kind hosts, Mima & Biagio (Luca's parents) and we just couldn't have chosen a more wonderful place to stay in Puglia. We will be back!

  • Amazing experience. Staying in a Trulli. Very clean, comfortable and great location.

  • Without a doubt the best place we stayed during our travels in Italy, and the best vacation home I've ever rented. Beautiful! The house is discreetly outfitted with every little thing you might possibly need while maintaining an uncluttered country charm. The rural location was a pleasure for us, and we found several memorable restaurants in Cisternino. Luca and his parents were exceedingly gracious and very quick to respond to communications. We felt very taken care of. I can't say enough good things about this home. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you!

  • Great location. Although semi rural this was a short drive from the town and an exceĺlent local restaurant and supermarket. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They treated us like we were their own family. Apartment or trullo was amazing experience staying in such a traditional apartment. Very clean and well provisioned. We have no hesitation in recomending this apartment.

  • Incredible place, if you have not been in Trulli, it is a great place to spend your vacation. Here is everything you need from the grill and ending with a beach umbrella. Luca and his parents very nice and hospitable. Highly recommend, book now! :)

  • We loved staying at Biagio’s trulli, located along a scenic tourist ‘trulli’ walking trail outside Cisternino. Perfect and cosy for our family, with great wifi and heating. It might be a tad small for 4-5 adults, but we found it fantastic for our family with young kids. A car is necessary for getting around I think, although you could walk to Cisternino in 20 mins. Perfect base for exploring nearby towns like Alberobello, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, and Cisternino itself is a really charming town with great amenities for families (supermarket, cafes and bars, restaurants, shopping, easy parking, gorgeous pedestrianised centro storico). Don’t miss the spectacular beach at Torre Guaceto about 30 mins drive away.

  • We had a wonderful stay in the Trullo. The area is truly special, and this Trullo shows you all of it. It is beautifully renovated and all the amenities work perfectly. Great to see that supllies were plenty, even coffee and tea. You should definitely rent a car to get there and to really enjoy the surroundings. Luca's father made us feel more than welcome.
