Vacation Rentals in Elk

Just booked in Elk

Cozy 1940s cottage with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with basement is located 30 minutes from downtown Spokane and close to many outdoor activities. Cottage is separate from the main house and situated on a 32 acre working farm where we live and raise Finnsheep. There are nearby ski areas along with Green Bluff wineries, u-pick veggie/fruit are all close by. Only 45 minutes to Silverwood Theme Park! Cottage is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups.
Our 1940s cottage was remodeled in 2012, but we tried to maintain the character of the building. Upstairs houses the living room, bathroom with shower, Cable TV, bedroom, and kitchen. Downstairs has 2 more 'bedrooms' which do not have doors. There are two couches that could be used to sleep on as well as floor space for 1-2 air mattresses. There is also a small family room and laundry. Outside a small creek flows beside the cottage and mature maple trees provide cool shade. A large deck and 2 car carport and RV parking area are in the front. Please note- there is no WiFi, but there is Internet access via your cellphone hotspot with most major carriers.
Beautiful farm located in rolling hills at the base of Mt. Spokane. Large Ponderosa Pine trees line the hilltops and flat land is covered in hay. Hot in the summer and cold and snowy in the winter- this is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy animals and nature.
  • The house was very cute and clean. We had a great night.

  • The farm is a wonderful, family friendly setting with very clean and comfortable lodging. The kids loved walking around the property to see the animals, creek and lovely scenery. Thank you Amy.

  • The ranch was great! We were visiting some friends from Seattle and it was the perfect meeting spot to get up to the mountains and to get back and explore Spokane a bit. More then enough room for all of us and so nice to have a big breakfast with the eggs Amy so nicely provided us. Would definitely recommend!

    Lexi2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was an excellent place to stay. It was clean, safe, affordable, and adorable. Plenty of space. A perfect place for a weekend get away. The deck was a great place to hang out on. You got to listen to the creek near by as you sat on the deck. Amy was super sweet, friendly, and helpful. She made us feel very welcomed. We didn't get a chance to explore the acreage, but did get to see the animals on the farm. They were so cute. I recommend all my friends to go visit if you are ever in the area. I definitely want to visit again.

  • This was a very nice place to stay. They are so accommodating and the beds are so very very comfortable. Better than mine at home. We had a blast. The creek keeps it very cool so it is so nice to sit on the deck and bbq and visit.

  • Holy cow! This place was amongst or absolute favorite!!! She greeted us when we arrived with such a friendly smile and welcoming attitude. The house is fantastic! We all were incredibly surprised at how lovely and comfortable, spacious, clean, inviting and beautiful everything was, from the linens to the coffee! And the dogs, they are so great! We had a blast sitting on the porch, staring at the stars and chatting. We would love to come back and stay much longer!

  • Everything, the best stay we had

    Olya2016-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • the hosts made us very welcome the minute we walked in. they showed us our space and introduced us to family and pets. the breakfast was awesome and they were thoughtful enough to share supper with us one evening where we had good conversation and one of the best pasta sauces we have ever had. the listing is as indicated on the site. its a little distance to spokane approx 25 minutes but when on vacation it didnt matter. the neighborhood is very safe and rather secluded.

    Gordon2015-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff and Steve are amazing. Their house is in a great area and have a rather comfy bed for you to crash on. They were really quick with replying to me and helped me out. Also gave me some tips on where to go and see. I'll definitely book with them again in the future. Thanks guys!

    Alex2015-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great Hosts! Lovely house and great location!

    Hannah2015-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff and Steve were great hosts and made us feel very welcome in their home. We had the full use of the den, a large space with a window for natural light. The bunk beds were comfortable and we slept well. There is a separate entrance that made it easy to come and go. The house sits just off the lake and the neighborhood is relaxed and pleasant. We stayed for two days, toured Spokane, and enjoyed extended talks with the hosts. Great experience.

    Alex2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • I'm not even sure that I know where to begin but staying with Jeff and Steve was incredible. They met us upon our arrival and were very welcoming. It was Steve's birthday and he was nice enough to share ice cream and cake! We had a great night sleep and then they made us breakfast in the morning. We would highly recommend staying with them if you need a place to stay. Also Tuesday and Lola are sweethearts

    Matthew & Abigail2016-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • It took me five minutes to feel at home. Jeff and Steve are very, very nice and have a nice family as well. The house and the neighbourhood are a dream. I would always come again.

Our cabin was built to complement nature. It has an open plan and a vaulted ceiling. The bay window overlooks a native forest and walking paths. The jetted tub, complete kitchen, balcony, DVD and wood stove makes it easy place to relax year round. Checkout out our 'Pineyslope Guesthouse' page.
The guesthouse is next door to our house, which is on Reflection Lake. Our property is heavily forested with eight native conifers. Every season brings a different kind of beauty. The cabin is ideal for a couple, or small family.
We live in a homeowners association that is diverse, rural, and generally quiet. Motorized boats are not allow on our private lakes. We love it.
  • I came to Pineyslope Guesthouse for a respite and it was an outstanding choice. Very welcoming and peaceful; a lovely home and an amazing location. Especially appreciated were the Cos-way walk in the marsh, having coffee with the forest view and the huge tub. I look forward to visiting again!

    Shar2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful view and scenery, warm and inviting home, everything we needed! Our hosts were very friendly and hospitable, helping make our stay all the more comfortable. The value is incredible, you definitely want to consider a getaway here. We already recommended it to our friends back home!

    Maria2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Best experience I have had by far. I sent my grandparents and aunts up in Jerry and his Wife's care. They were well taken care of during their visit for my grandfather's brother's 50th anniversary in Elk Washington. It was a beautiful and scenic retreat. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Like others, Jerry was there waiting to greet us and give us a tour of his immaculate and quaint guest house.

    Jacob2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Pineyslope was the perfect getaway! The space was beautiful, clean and extremely cozy, and Jerry was a friendly and conscientious host. The walking trails around the property are an added bonus, but this guesthouse was so comfy it was hard to leave! I would absolutely go back.

    Jenny2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • HOST IS EXCELLENT, HOME IS EXCELLENT...EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!

    Ethel2016-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • There aren't enough kind words that I can use to describe our stay with Jerry. From the beginning, our lovely host was communicative and responsive even before we arrived. Every bit of our gorgeous get-away proved perfect this weekend. Our hosts were so gracious and genuine with the most tenacious touches throughout the Pineyslope Guesthouse. From the outlined nature trail to the handmade "conifer key" to the meditation nook to the fire pit to the fresh muffins and breakfast items, we never wanted to leave. Every touch within the home created a beautiful oasis centered in nature, wanderlust, and culture. I can't overstate how relaxing and special this ethereal paradise is.

    Jessica2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • I had the pleasure of staying at the Pineyslope guest house with Jerry and Lucinda as my hosts this spring. The house is in a rural wooded area north of the city and my stay was for work in North Spokane. It was about a thirty minute commute to work but the area north of Spokane is beautiful. Their guest house became my home away from home and Jerry and Lucinda were awesome. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks again you two, and I hope to hang out with you up there again some day!

    Shelly2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay at the Pineyslope Guesthouse! Jerry and Lucinda have created such a cozy haven for guests. The setting is peaceful and the trails they have created on the property are a great way to explore and relax. The space itself is large and open, and separated nicely. The kitchen is well equipped and I was able to cook a full meal immediately upon arrival. Jerry and Lucinda are friendly, kind and attentive, and I am so thankful for their great communication and accommodation. I hope I find myself in Elk again someday, it is beautiful!

  • Our stay at Matt and Christina's home was a great find! Their modern newer home is located in the country and the surrounding countryside is ultra quiet! The guest room and private bath are upscale. Their home is now our first choice for the Spokane area!

    Charles2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been, and they were amazingly welcoming and accomodating hosts. We moved to WA all the way from KY (having been in a rental car for four days straight on the way there, lol), and we stayed here for a few nights while we were getting our footing and trying to find a place to live. They were very easy to talk to and very understanding, and we felt like we were able to truly relax for the first time in months being here. It's not too far from Spokane (about 30 minutes by car, I think), and it's in a very quiet location with no traffic or noise, at all. It's also close to a nearby lake (maybe a few even, but we went to one called Bear Lake), which my fiancee and I really enjoyed taking our dog to. (Also, my dog never really takes interest in other dogs ever, but he and their dog Boone quickly became besties when we arrived, lol.) This was my first time using Airbnb, as I've always been a little hesirant to do so; but thanks to Matt and Christina I definitely will be using it again. If you have a car you can use to get around, I would very highly recommend their bnb.

  • We were just looking for a soft spot to lay our heads at night, while visiting old friends in Deer Park, but were amazed at just how beautiful the setting was. Both mornings enjoyed morning coffee and watched the sun come up to see deer and turkeys in the yard. Bed was very comfortable, home was beautiful.

    Kristen2016-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Matt & Christina, we had a really nice stay at your house. The surrounding is fantastic, the house is really clean, the bed comfy and communication & check-in so easy. We would definitely come again!!

    Jana2017-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • We only stayed one night but Matt and Christina's place is beautiful and so comfortable. At night, you very occasionally hear the horse but the area is so so quiet. The whole house is also very clean and with everything you need. Matt was really nice too and knew a lot about the area. We would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the piece and quiet of the place!

    Camille2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Christina and Matt are great hosts. They're easy to get along with, the house is clean and the area is beautiful. Highly recommend using their space

    Jessie2017-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A great experience, coupled with a warm home and beautiful surroundings. Hands down, the most peaceful place I have ever visited.. Matt and Christina are fantastic and Boone as well.. If I'm in town, this is now my go to place, which I highly recommend to anyone looking for the most relaxing and peaceful place, you will ever visit. Only compliments do I have to offer..

This is a large room in our lovely country home - there is a full size bed but you can bringwe an air-mattress - it is best if you then bring a sleeping bag for the air mattress - you have use of bathrooms, kitchen, patio, river, etc. This house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families - the room can certainly accommodate up to 4 people with air mattresses. Its a very quiet, serene country neighborhood. No smoking or e-sigs inside the hous. No marijuana usage.
  • Ann and John are really great! This was my second time staying with them and I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Spokane.

  • Ann's place is a wonderful fabulous place to stay. Anne and her husband John we're very friendly and made you right at home. Would definitely stay there again.

  • My daughter and I felt welcome, comfortable and safe in Ann's home. Ann was very insightful and offered wonderful suggestions of things to do in the area. We look forward to staying here again .

    Mary2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very pleasant experience staying at Ann's place. Lots of perks - very welcoming hosts, beautiful surroundings, nice creek out the back which their dog Rip Tide loves diving in and chasing thrown pieces of wood. Home made scones, strawberry jam, and coffee for breakfast. Even got a jar of homemade strawbery and apple jam for the road.:-) very nice people , very good experience.

    aliaksandra2016-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • This was a beautiful home. Ann was very nice and informative. The room was clean and the bed was warm and comfortable. Riptide the dog was adorable and the cat was cute too. I would definitely go back it very nice and quiet.

I love my 1940's farmhouse. I have always preferred a house with character. The rental suite is upstairs. It is quaint and comfy as a farm house would be. The property is accessible to Mt Spokane, Schweitzer and 49° North ski areas. Access from the property to the main highway is easy. It is quiet, but close to amenities. The views are spectacular (particularly from the hot tub).
Vintage farm house surrounded by fields and evergreen woods with a spectacular view of Mt. Spokane. This house is only about 25 miles to cross-country and downhill skiing and snowshoeing at Mt. Spokane and easy access to ski areas at Schweitzer north of Sandpoint and 49° North at Colville. It is available in January, February, March and part of April. The house is fully furnished, there are two bedrooms each with a private bathroom, has internet access basic TV reception, laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen, and has three outside cats. Roads and the driveway are plowed. There is room for your vehicle. If you are interested in long term rental for February, since this is my home, I would require a security deposit and references. In return, I would make sure that you have access to information to make your stay enjoyable. I would not be available during your stay, but will have someone look in every day and make sure you have contacts in the case of need.
This is farm country. It is zoned agricultural – I got lucky and have a 5 acre parcel with the original farm house. My neighbors all look out for one another. The one across the street to the right always knows when I'm away or if I have guests staying over. Please don't bother him except in an emergency. There are a few good restaurants and most services in Deer Park, 12 miles from the house, and full services in Spokane, the north end of town being 22 miles. For events and other entertainment, check out the INLANDER, a free weekly publication available in many places in Spokane and some in Deer Park. I keep their current annual publication in your room.
  • Ellen is a great hostess and her comfy home is comfy and perfect for a quiet get away in the country. The breakfast is an added bonus!

    Dale2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen was awesome! She worked with my wonky scheduling due to unforeseen circumstances and she was very communicative and quick to respond. She greeted us at the door with our late night arrival and chatted with us. She is a very friendly and warm person. We had a delicious breakfast, which she prepared early in the morning as requested. She has a lovely place and we were thankful to find something so far out.

    Heather2016-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a brief hyper-cozy stay here. Greeted with coffee cake & hot cider, Ellen was immediately a warm hostess, eager to make you feel at home. She was always accessible for questions but also gave us our privacy. We enjoyed the claw foot bathtub! Breakfast was gorgeous: asparagus quiche, blackberries, French press coffee, toast. Followed by a snowy retreat to the hot tub. More of a spa than an Airbnb—and with a sassy cat to boot.

    Holly2018-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen is a kind and gracious hostess. She also knows her way around a fresh baked blueberry french toast with homemade blueberry compote. She contacted us prior to our stay to make sure we had no food allergies and if we had preferences for breakfast. Her farmhouse is quaint in its rustic charm. The upstairs en-suite where we stayed is reminiscent of the homestead era. The bathroom sports a beautiful claw foot tub which is glorious to relax in. We did not have an opportunity to enjoy, but she has a nice hot tub also. We recommend this AirBNB. Ellen informed us that is it a perfect spot for the ski season as it is located in the middle of popular ski areas in Spokane.

    Randolph2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen was nice and friendly and allowed me to stay while I was fixing my place in the country, her place was clean and comfortable and she is very kind

Located 20-25 minutes north of Spokane city limits, the Little Red Barn on Big Meadows is nestled in the foothills of Mount Spokane. Enjoy Greenbluff in the fall and Mt. Spokane skiing in the winter. The Little Spokane River is nearby, as well as many gorgeous lakes. The Barn overlooks the beautiful Big Meadows and faces breathtaking sunsets. We are popular for romantic getaways, special celebrations, and those seeking to escape the busyness of life and savor the quiet.
The second floor of the barn is the guesthouse, and it houses an 800 sq. foot apartment containing a master bedroom with bath, kitchen, and living room with fireplace and a Roku TV. It is heated by radiant floor heating. The dining area is big enough to seat six in the center of the barn. Accessible only by a slide-out library ladder, upstairs is a dreamy children's loft with twin beds, children's books and a sweet teddy bear. The barn has vaulted ceilings with a cupola on top. There is a lovely outdoor fireplace just beyond the living room doors where one can sit on chilly evenings, basking in the warmth of the fire, listening to the crickets. The Barn was built to be safer for chemically sensitive individuals, and we use free and clear detergents.
  • This was the perfect getaway...modern amenities, beautifully decorated, yet located in the country with a gorgeous drive! Only 15 minutes into town but with a faraway feel...very peaceful! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Spokane, WA area or who just want to get away! Thank you!

  • Such a picture perfect guesthouse! We stayed for our 23rd anniversary and enjoyed the special touches to celebrate that. We were warm and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We hope to come back and bring our kids because the loft was so cute with twin beds up there.

  • A beautifully cultivated space with oodles of charm. A lot of love goes in to maintaining a space like the red barn, and it is a treat to get to experience that love.

Ardella Lodge is located on Diamond Lake in the North Eastern part of Washington State. This historic cabin has been fully renovated and offers all the amenities and comforts of a contemporary home.
  • The cabin was everything we had hoped for and more. Beautiful location, well appointed and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay and will be staying again soon.

  • We had a great getaway staying at Ardella Lodge. It was perfect for us since we have 3 boys. They played down by the beach and even went in the water though it was terribly cold! The canoe was fun to paddle around on. It was the quiet time of year so we felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves.

Located on Diamond Lake, Newport, Washington Cabin has been fully renovated, and comes fully furnished. 2 bedrooms with full size beds and 1 bathroom. Perfect place for enjoying the lake, fishing, kayaking, boating, etc....
  • What an Awesome place! I took my 2 grandkids ages 4 and 9 and we fished off the dock and caught perch until our arms were tired. My 4 year old grandson played at the lakes edge with the many toys provided and had a blast. We had everything available to us... life vests, floating mattresses and even a paddle boat. Games for all ages inside along with tons of DVDs for kids and older ages. Newport is only 6 miles away with great pizza places and eateries. Safeway was there for groceries also. Every gas station has bait for fishing too. Newport even has a sporting goods store and I bought my granddaughter a fishing rod combo so she could more easily catch the whoppers off of the exclusive dock provided with the property. It's a quaint cottage which is just what I needed to recharge my batteries and all of the neighbors and locals were so friendly also. I would recommend this slice of heaven to everyone... Perry and Bill were great hosts too. I plan on booking for next summer too, as soon as I find out my vacation dates. Beautiful blue water and Sunshine abound. Thanks for the opportunity to visit. See y'all next year!

    1 review
4 BR/3 BA Custom craftsman house with a southwest exposure. The beach is about 20 feet deep and dock extends 60ft into the shallows. The cabin is defined by rough-sawn exposed beams and alder doors and trim. Huge 20ft Covered deck & large patio.
Diamond Lake - 70 feet of waterfront , 4 bedroom, 3 bath new 3400 SF Craftsman styled house on Bayview Blvd. The entrance to the house is guarded by two massive stone columns that support the private covered master bedroom deck. When you walk in the house you can immediately see the lake through the towering vaulted windows. The kitchen and entryway feature exposed rough sawn fir beams and tongue and groove ceiling. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel GE appliances. There is even a double oven and induction cooktop. Other touches include under cabinet LED lighting, an appliance garage, and a pop up mixer from the cabinet. The center island features a chiseled granite edge with metal foot rest and 3 bar stools. The great room features a gas fireplace with fir beam mantle with a 50” Samsung TV, Devon Receiver, Blu Ray and surround sound. The Great room has a 20ft vault with ridge beams and an incredible view of the lake. The main floor has a rich hickory engineered flooring throughout. The Guest bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan with an incredible view of the lake and private access to the main deck. The main deck is 20x20 and had a propane gas grill outlet, privacy screen from the neighbors, and covered with clear lexan with UV protection. Access to the beach is via the natural stone steps along the side of the house. The floors are connected via an open stairwell with stair lights and chandelier. The stairs to the master feature open beam treads. The master features a Romeo and Juliet Balcony that has a view of both sides of the peninsula. There are double doors for privacy. There is also an adjoining study. The bathroom shower is vaulted and the bathroom window also has an amazing view of the lake. There is a covered deck through the French doors of the master bedroom that overlooks the other side of the lake. If you take the steps to the lower level you are greeted by the beautifully acid stained concrete throughout the lower level. There is one bathroom with double sinks and plenty of linen storage. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and oversized closets. There is a laundry room with a sink and then washer and dryer. There is also a huge 20x20 recreation room with surround sound hookups. There are oversized 8ft high sliders that take out out to the lower deck area. The lower deck feature a compass dial and stamped concrete finish with real stone steps to the beach. This lower deck nook also has plenty of lighting and a gas grill hookup as well. The back of the house has beautiful corbels holding up the roof and incredible beamwork coming from the 3 main stone columns in the back. One of the columns has a shower and footbath built into it. The house has a 60 foot dock and has a wonderful southern western exposure with a flat sandy beach. This is an excellent shallow swimming beach. You can go about 80 feet out and it is still chest high. There is a fire pit and picnic bench chairs to enjoy the evening bon fire. The house is pretty much finished but we ran out of funds to completely furnish it so the furnishings are sparse and its not yet painted. The house has beautiful interior beam work. All the trim is knotty alder with solid doors.
This is a quiet cul de sac. The neighbors are all friendly and have an annual get together every year so its a tight knit community but they will welcome you. There are basketball nets in the street , kids on skateboards, and you might see an occasional cub scout or two during their summer camp season since Camp Cowles Cub Scout Camp is within earshot of the property.
  • The Diamond Lake description and photos were accurate to a 'T' and spot on. Both the Home and it's views are mind boggling beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked and compared to homes we have rented in the past it contained everything needed for cooking and grilling. The location was excellent and convenient. The owners are completely service oriented and provided much information in advance and recommendations on things to see and do. The home was also very clean, towels provided and very comfortable beds. We can certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great home in a beautiful setting to spend time with family or friends. I greatly appreciated Michael's patience and absolute first-rate attention to detail. Top notch service. If you are considering staying here are worried about anything, don't be! It's just as advertised, and well worth the trip.

  • (I hope I'm not submitting twice... maybe my first review did not go through?) This was a really nice place to stay, not far from Spokane airport, so a good day-before-travel place. But it is a lot more than that! Steve and Jeff are great hosts, very nice, friendly and open, and the room on offer is private, well-appointed, and has its own bathroom (with shampoo etc.) just outside the door. Comfy bed... I slept very well! The two hosts greeted me with offers to eat together. I had some of my own food prepared, and we sat together and chatted. Great community people, so proud of their College age kids, and the one finishing up high school. Two very silly tiny dogs, and a fuzzy cat complete the happy household. This was my first air bob experience of staying with a family in a room in their house.... and given how nice this was, it will not be my last. thanks guys!

  • We had a great weekend and felt very comfortable coming and going as we pleased throughout. Jeff and Steve were welcoming and friendly. Helpful with local knowledge of fun places to visit and trivia about the lake. That's one thing that we did not get from he pictures, Reflection Lake is so scenic. Lovely for a walk down to the lake. We would have taken more time for ourselves just to enjoy the beauty.

  • Steve and Jeff are possibly the most wonderful people I've ever met! They were kind, easy to talk to and more than willing to help me out with any problems I had. I arrived late due to the bad weather, but still they welcomed me with open arms. They have a beautiful home and two adorable dogs (and a very fluffy cat)! The bedroom is cozy and clean, the bathroom has everything you need. I'm glad we got to share some great stories. I absolutely wish I could have stayed longer!

  • Steve and Jeff were extremely welcoming and accommodating, even with our late night arrival. We even got a piece of Steve's birthday cake! The room was comfortable and clean and the private bathroom had everything we needed. In the morning they had fruit, muffins and coffee for us! All in all a wonderful stay and a super good deal for everything that you get. Would stay there again!!

  • Jeff & Steve are wonderful hosts and I had an enjoyable stay. It is an exceptional choice if you are looking for a secluded get away.

  • Jeff and Steve are wonderful. They have all the charm of the early days of Airbnb. Even though we arrived late, they made us feel welcome. Put scones and coffee out in the morning. So so kind. Additionally, their home on Reflection Lake is gorgeous! We loved staying!

    Dana2016-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff and Steve are wonderful hosts! We had clear communication before my trip, and they were responsive when I had questions. Their home is immaculately clean and extremely comfortable and cozy. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and my bedroom and bathroom were both spotlessly clean, with abundant amenities to ensure I had everything I needed on my stay. My hosts both let me have my privacy when I checked in and was exhausted, and then we had a very nice chat over breakfast the next day (fresh scones y'all!). I had a lovely walk around the lake, which neighbors their home, and would definitely stay here again!

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, thanks Ann! I arrived late in the evening and Ann was very accommodating, aware of the reason for my visit and made room for the unpredictability that trip would bring. Staying at Ann's home was a great way to get out of town, the neighborhood and environment are restful and quiet. The next day we had time to chat and I felt perfectly at home. Thanks Ann! I look forward to another stay.

  • What a great stay!! It was so hard to leave. Anne and her husband are such lovley people and I so loved the dog Riptide. The bed was comforitable and place was so quiet. A much needed break from city life I had just left. I slept like a million bucks. And for as much as I enjoyed talking with Anne and her husband they also gave me plenty of space to sit by the river and just be at peace. I definitly Would recomend this place and hope to stay with them again. It really was wonderful.

  • Ann was great with communication. My plans changed and I did not stay, although I met them and the room was as described. The setting is quite and the drive was beautiful. They seem like very nice hosts, they were worried about me being cold and had a heating pad for me if I needed it. Thanks Ann!
