Food scene in Edgewater

“This place is so cool and so much fun! They have an awesome bar and the atmosphere is especially in the warmer weather since they have outdoor seating. Harlem Tavern is a local sports bar and restaurant that offers tons of delicious local beer and tasty American food. If you are looking for a night out of fun, or just want to have a few drinks with friends, this place is a good option. ”

Southern-inspired barbecue served in a vivacious hall
“Their 13 honey BBQ wings are especially out of this world. Aside from being cooked to perfection, the wings are also juicy and the sauce ratio is spot on. If you are in the mood for dinner, a combo plate with pulled pork, brisket, whipped sweet potatoes and BBQ fried rice is the go-to for many locals here. you could see the smoke ring on the meat on the brisket. This combo comes with a side of cornbread. Remember to come hungry because the portion is gigantic.”

Bagel Shop
“The absolute best Bagels in New York. I am not kidding if you are already in the neighborhood go and get yourself a bagel with any of the many cream cheese options. The bagels are fresh in the morning so the earlier the better. However they bake constantly so anytime until 2 pm you will fresh warm bagels. NOTE: on weekends the line can be really long, anytime between 10 am and 2pm you will likely find a big line. ”

“By 125th street 1 train station, 10 mins walk from home. Being in Japan for a year, I would say this place is a decent place for Japanese ramen. Try the crab meat saland and spicy donkatsu ramen. Oh, and try the Asahi draft beer too. ”
