“Great jogging/sight seeing area if you would like to just walk around to feel the neighborhood. During fall the water lilies bloom and it's very pretty. Beware of homeless people because they will be tenting out and the smell might bother you (Welcome to Los Angeles.) But it's a cute little park with so many other shops to stop by!”

Neighborhood
“Echo Park is a scruffy Eastside neighborhood with vibrant street murals and a lively nightlife scene. Indie music venues, trendy bars and taco trucks can be found along Sunset Boulevard, along with coffee shops, vegan eats and quirky boutiques. Echo Park Lake offers paddle boating among lotus flowers. Nearby is Dodger Stadium and hiking at Elysian Park. Angelino Heights is a picturesque nook with Victorian homes.”

Pizza Place
$$
“This is a chicago style deep dish pizza place. One of my favorite places to take friends if they've come to LA to travel. Beware it takes about 45 minutes for the pizza to bake because of the large portion of cheese and crust! The whole pizza is pretty huge. It's a good place for a group to hangout and chat. The parking is bit of a hassle, so if you can uber that would be more convenient. There are many cute shops nearby.”

Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurant
$$
“I am not a vegetarian, nor do I seek out vegetarian restaurants, but this restaurant was so delicious I had a hard time believing I was eating only veggies. Their jackfruit kebab is stellar, as well as their labne plate and radicchio salad. You will not be disappointed with the flavor bomb of a restaurant.”
