Old village pub 5 minutes. Gastro pub 10 minutes. Beach, boat trips, excellent children's playground in Kilmore Quay 10mins. Traditional 19C. stone-built farmhouse & pottery, on one hectare, protected by a 'bawn' (courtyard) We are always happy to talk about our work and advise on local attractions and amenities. At night the silence and the stars are among the things we value most. There is little or no public transport so personal transport is essential. Bike hire facility available. Private off-road parking available. Please note: This rural property is offered to guests in the inter-personal community spirit of Airbnb's Mission Statement. The accommodation is converted from a traditional stone-built farm stable with structural elements dating from the 19th century. As such, while every effort is made to maintain it in a clean and comfortable condition, it is not vacuum-sealed against normal and natural seasonal incursions of rural insect life such as spiders, bees, wasps, etc. We do not aspire to the sterile and impersonal atmosphere of a modern commercial hotel. However, as our many positive reviews attest, normal standards of comfort and hygiene are fully adhered to.
We are in a rural location but close to shops, pubs, and restaurants. There are off-road walks close by. On a clear night the stars are stunning - no light pollution! Check out (URL HIDDEN)
  • Patricia and Ultan were brilliant hosts. Checkin was easy and they gave us very useful info about local activities. The potters yard was fantastic. The house was very cosy in a lovely court yard. It was perfectly furnished, comfortable and well equipped. Couldn't recommend it more!

  • A great stay and an amazing host! Patricia's cottage was a gem of a find in Wexford. It was was easy to find and checking was a breeze. There was some miscommunication in my part but Patricia was very accommodating in helping us out. We were able to do a pop-up pottery class, which I reccomend. You get to create something to take back and get some of the best local information from Patricia. From Patricia's cottage to the town center, it only took about 15 minutes and you had miles of coast to walk down. Definitely a place to stay off if you're wanting something quiet and relaxing, would stay again!

  • If it's peace and quiet in an tranquil, cosy setting you're after then the Potter's Yard is a great choice. The cottage has everything you need and Patricia is a kind, helpful host. It's a good base from which to explore the area.

  • It was a great, cosy stay perfect for a quiet retreat outside of Wexford. Would recommend to anyone!

  • Patricia & Ultan took us in when they could have easily sent us on our way, They are certainly SUPER HOSTS. It is evident that they are truly kind people with hearts of gold. We made our reservation early in the day and due to broadband issues they did not receive it. They were not prepared for guests as they were just returning from vacation. But they quickly got the accommodation ready and welcomed us. we had a great night and in the morning Patricia welcomed me into her Pottery Studio for a pop up pottery class. It made my day. She also has a shop where she sells her beautiful pottery creations! A great little stone apartment.

  • These hosts were the most amazing, kind, and generous people you could ever ask for. They honestly became instant friends, sharing their interests and home with us as if we were long-lost cousins. If you have a chance to stay here in the huge room they provide, do it! The one night we spent with them enhanced our trip to Ireland enormously, as hard as that was to do because it's a marvelous country in any event.

  • We spent the night here on our way to Rosslare harbour (only about 30 minutes away). Comfortable room with a private bathroom. Val and Del were very welcoming and gave us a delicious breakfast even though we were up very early for the ferry. Would thoroughly recommend.

  • Val and Del’s place is beautiful and peaceful. The room is quite large and has a big beautiful window. The bathroom was great, easy to use shower. We loved having the pups around and the chicks in the back. Of your looking for something that can easily get you to town at night, this may not be your place, however if you want a true Irish getaway, this is it!

  • Terry and his home very well deserve the “rare find” name he has been given. His house is beautiful and Terry just showed us where everything was and left us to it. His trust in his guests is amazing and his help and friendliness were second to none. We couldn’t believe how lovely it was and wished we could’ve stayed longer. We hope to return soon.

I was warmly welcomed by Pauline and her 2 friendly golden Labradors...and when I went inside I was immediately offered refreshments and a cheese plate! Was a lovely touch. My room was clean, cozy and comfortable and breakfast the next morning was healthy and delicious! I'm definately hooked with air b&b going forward! Thanks Pauline for everything x

  • My family and I were there to give my parents and my son's ashes to the sea. We took the house for the proximity of our beach { landing place for the Norman pre-invasion force in 1167 }...We needed a historic, beautiful setting, lots of room, beds, lg. kitchen, etc. This wonderful old house was perfect ! Alex and Emily were the most helpful people I could ask for. The sea was out the window. The cliffs in the backyard, the locals so much fun to talk to. Great experience for kids too. Close to Wellington Bridge with necessary shopping and eats. Plenty of history closeby too. Day trips to heritage sites very close too. I will bring mose family here in the future when scheduling works out ! I could go on and on.....

  • This is such a lovely house with lots of room. It is located to make many areas accessible easily. The owner is a great help and her communication was outstanding. We used the kitchen quite a lot and found it to be great. Lots of tools an equipment to make meals easy. There are no spices or other cooking supplies but there are local places to get those. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. This is a great find and a great value.

  • Excellent value for high quality accommodation. Both Stephen and Mary made us feel very welcome. Definitely will be back!

  • We had a very comfortable stay at Aras Muillinn. It was large and airy. Mary & her husband were very nice and always just a call away. They made us feel welcome at the start with wine and biscuits. Whenever we had questions of the area, they were very helpful. I would recommend this and other homes that they hosted to family & friends. Thank You!

    Lin2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic experience staying with Mary and Stephen her husband. They were perfect host the house was immaculate inside and out and had all the mod cons. We have 3 teenagers who were very happy with all the facilities in the house and our dogs were most welcomed also. We can't fault our holiday in any way the locals were very friendly and the village pub is a warming and welcoming place the owner Sammy was a joy to met and we will remember him for a very long time to come. The location is an ideal spot for touring Wexford. Mary and Alan

    Mary2015-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Mary went above and beyond to make us welcome. She is a hostess in a million. Her home is extremely comfortable and in a very pleasant area. We only had one there but wish we had been able to stay for a lot longer. It is an immaculately kept home. Mary left us enough food to keep us going for several days. Hoping to go back and stay for longer

    Lynne2015-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Aras Muillinn is a beautiful, well equipped house with plenty of space for relaxing and stunning bedrooms with comfortable beds. Mary and Stephen couldn't have been more helpful. It was the perfect base to relax and explore the area. Couldn't recommend more highly!

    Susan2015-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay at Aras Muillinn! Mary, Stephen and Fergul were so welcoming - over and beyond. We loved the house - there were 7 of us and we all fit comfortably because the house is so huge! It's beautiful - our favourite room was the sunroom. From this location, we drove everywhere in Ireland and saw many big sights as well as local sights that Mary recommended. We have been travelling for nine month and this was by far the best AirBnB stay. We saved the best for last. Do not hesitate to rent this house - you won't regret it!

    Michelle2015-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Aras Muillinn is excellent place to stay in Wexford and house is perfect weekend gateway. I would for sure come back again.

  • Stayed at Angela and Robert's fabulous property along with our 3 small kids. It is clean and comfortable, superb for little kids as the playroom has plenty of toys and to top it all, there is a piano that just asks for musical entertainment! Great little touches in this property, especially the milk in the fridge upon arrival after a 3 hour car trip. Lovely, friendly, knowledgeable hosts! Thanks for having us!

    Louise2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Home impeccable housing is much larger than the photos. The terrace is nice for the breakfast of morning access wifi appreciated by the children. Guides documentation available to visit the region

  • We stayed here for three nights with our two children. Angela and Robert were wonderful hosts. Angela greeted us on arrival and showed us around the property. We were left with clear instructions too along with good recommendations for beaches and places to eat. Our kids loved the house. It comes with a great playroom that kept them busy and they both loved the piano. The house is in a great location for sightseeing and beaches. We would recommend the house and hosts to anyone.

    Francisca2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay here with our two children. There was so much space, the play room was a real bonus. It is an ideal base for exploring the area and the hosts gave loads of tips/ info on the area. We would happily return.

  • We really enjoyed a week here with a toddler and baby. It's perfect for kids, plenty of outdoor space and the hosts provided plenty of toys, books and even a small slide to keep them entertained. We really appreciated not having to bring travel cots and high chairs with us as these were also provided. Lovely rural location but within easy access of shops, beaches and local attractions. We'll be back :)

With spectacular views of Bannow Bay, The Lodge is a place that induces a long, deep intake of breath. It’s like a look-out post to the elements – expansive skies meet earth and fields that slope to the sea. Blackhall and Bannow Island, within a five-minute drive, have long sandy beaches. The wonderful Tintern Abbey and Colcough Gardens are fifteen-minutes away, and Wexford town is twenty-five.
The Lodge is surrounded by countryside. It’s situated on the grounds of our family home, though with unobstructed views of the sea it has privacy. The interior has been lovingly designed and constructed, with solid timber flooring downstairs, an old, handmade Wexford dresser in the kitchen area, and bespoke doors to the bedrooms. It is centrally heated and is very well insulated.
We are situated approximately one mile from the villages of Wellingtonbridge, which has a large SuperValu supermarket, and Carrig-on-Bannow, which has a Post-Office, newsagent, The Red Door Cafe, a Catholic Church and two pubs. The beaches of Blackhall and Bannow Island are a five-ten minute drive, and those of Baginbun and Carnivon a fifteen-twenty minute drive. The area has many tourist attractions, some of which include Hook Head and Hook Lighthouse, Tintern Abbey and Colclough Gardens, Johnstown Castle, the Fort at Duncannon, Kilmokea Gardens, and the Dunbrody Famine Ship and museum in New Ross.
  • Great location and local amenities. Enjoyed all the sites we visited - food in local pubs was very enjoyable

  • We had a lovely stay at Eamon's house with our 2 kids, 3yo & 5yo. Eamon was very welcoming and provided us with local information. The weather was terrible unfortunately but the house was very cosy and we had the fire going in the evenings which warmed the house perfectly. The house was very clean and well stocked out with everything we needed. Our two boys loved playing in the large garden with all the swings and play equipment. The house is well off the main road so very safe for families with young kids. We would definitely recommend Eamon's house.

We could not recommend Eamon or his home highly enough.

Very comfortable and cool pad, lovely bath, a real sense of nature in the relaxing back garden with sheep in one neighbouring field and cows in another, and Eamon was great with communication and easy-going with times. • Kate place is lovely, a quaint old country cottage. the weather wasn't great when we there so we didn't get to enjoy the lovely gardens. The house was wonderful cosy though with the fires and the Aga lighting. All utensils, etc are there and we managed to make lovely roast dinner for our family. The beds are comfortable and the house was the perfect size for our family of 5. The cottage is about 10 minutes drive from most restaurants and beaches. Kate was extremely easy and personable to deal with and we hope hope to go back and stay again soon.

    Jennifer2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful old cottage full of character. My two small dogs had a ball in the huge garden and grounds with old ruins and stables. Lots for them to explore. I especially loved sitting by the river in the morning with my cuppa tea, listening to the birds. It was so tranquil. Inside the aga gives a lovely warmth to the kitchen and great for cooking on too. We spent a lot of our time in the first little snug room which had the open fire. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was spotless. The cottage had everything we needed (WiFi is intermittent but we had our own 3G). The property is very easy to find if coming from Dublin. Kilmore quay beach was stunning and Johnstown Castle is a must. Kate was exceptional to deal with, she was so responsive and helpful. I’d definitely return for another mini getaway!

You will definitely need a car if wanting to travel for food shops etc. The caretaker was very friendly on arrival and communication with Kate is quick and reliable. Would highly recommend! Really enjoyed our stay

    Jade2019-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic space, with a lovely homely feel, a huge garden space to enjoy and a great location - nothing is more than a short drive away. Kate provided us with perhaps the most comprehensive list of recommendations for eating/drinking out, days out for a walk, places of interest, rainy day activities...you name it, Kate had something. All of the communication with Kate was easy, extremely friendly and quick to answer making the whole experience feel so easy. We had a couple of small children with 3 adults and the house catered for all of us, with just about everything you can think of. The outside space was great for the young ones, whether it be the garden for a play and kick around or the gazebo decked area by the river to eat outside. Places to explore in the vicinity are many and varied, with Tintern Abbey and the walled gardens being a particular favourite although we also really enjoyed the Hook head lighthouse (the oldest working lighthouse in the world) and the lovely long beach at Kilmore Quay. We will definitely be back!!!

  • Karl’s place is off the beaten track which is good if you want to get away from the usual tourist traps but still well placed for seeing all the local sites. The restaurant & pub a few doors away serve great food and we appreciated the convenient location of the corner store for getting food supplies. The modern well equipped kitchen was a real bonus for self catering. I recommend staying here if you like something out of the ordinary.

  • Pauline and Chris were great hosts. Beautiful accommodation and surrounding area. Very comfortable with a great breakfast

    Fiona2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in the Brookvale B&B brings the meaning of Irish hospitality to a whole other level, Pauline in particular took such great care of us during our stay, she even took the time out of her day to drive us up the the wedding we were attending in Horetown house. I couldn't recommend it more and if you are a dog lover, they have the two most beautiful golden labradors Penny and Molly.

  • The house is a dream ... lovingly furnished with many nice details. The reception was very friendly. Pauline offered me a welcome tea and cake, which was delicious. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The selection of the hot breakfast part the night before on the menu is great and really high level. In addition, Pauline stands by with words and deeds ... in short, a perfect hostess! If you are in the area, you should definitely stay there! It's a lovely house with so many nice details. Had a warm welcome with cake and tea. Pauline is such a wonderful, helpful and courteous host. For me everything was perfect. If you ever want to drive through Wexford County you'll have to stay at Brookvale!

  • Waking up and having breakfast looking out at the sea was the best for me 😍 the living room was a lovely space to relax. You can also sit outside looking out at sea if you get the weather- Its a lovely sun trap, and even in March it was really warm when the sun came out. The house is ideally located on the beach and right beside pubs, shops and restaurants. There's lovely walks through the dunes by the sea and a huge stretch of beach for longer walks. A great place to chill out, unwind and enjoy nature. The boat out to the Saltee Islands also leaves from here and makes a great day trip.

  • Catherine greeted us as soon as we arrived and couldn’t of been more helpful. We had a wedding at Horetown house, the location was close and Catherine arranged a hairdressers appointment prior to me even arriving. She offered to take us to the venue. She ironed my husbands shirt that had got creased in the suitcase and the Irish breakfast in the morning was fab and just what we needed.

  • We had fantastic stay. The house is a great size. Also loads of outside space for kids to go around on their scooters etc. Very safe with the front gates closed. Large outside dining table and umbrella was great for the summer days. Loads of beaches closeby. One within walking distance but we drove with small kids. It is a few km to drive to the local village where there is shop and pub. Wellington bridge has a great supervalu and is only about 10mins drive. House is great base for exploring hook peninsula, duncannon to west and kilmore quay, ballyteigue burrow etc to east. We didn't go into wexford but its not far. Maybe 20-25 mins. Maureen dropped in to meet us during our stay and was straight away at end of phone for any queries we had. Will stay again if in the area.

Located on a working organic farm, which you can visit, there is lots of space to enjoy your holiday. It's 2km to beach & it’s a 5 minute walk both to the pub that does great food & the local shop The cottages are old style with a modern twist, (think ceiling beams and WiFi).
Situated on a working organic working farm, you can go on a guided farm tour with owner John and Molly the dog to call the cows, feed the donkeys and collect eggs. Once you have finished your welcome tea in the spacious house and gardens, you can take a short walk to the the local pub and restaurant and the mini market. You can take a walk or short drive to the beach (2km) to work up an appetite for take away fish and chips in Kilmore Quay or take a trip to the magical world of the Saltee Islands to see a wild landscape inhabited by colonies of wonderful birds and other wildlife. John and Helen live across the road and can give you tips on Castles and gardens to visit, golf, shopping or something different to do - a maze perhaps or take a trip back in time on the Dunbrody famine ship. The kitchen is fully kitted out and there is a chest freezer separate from the fridge. WiFi, full laundry facilities and lots of space make this a pleasant home from home. We are child friendly, providing cots, high chairs or stair gates as needed, there are games and books indoors with lots of space and some toys outdoors. A goal, a boat and a chicken coup are some of the unusual additions to the lawn.
This is a great area for beach exploration, days on the beach and coastal walks. The nearby Saltee Islands are like another world, dominated by colonies of birds on the cliffs. The coastal location means that fresh fish and seafood of all kinds are excellent and locally landed. You can try seafood in the local pub, local restaurants or even in the excellent local fish and chip shop. The pretty thatched cottages in both our village of Kilmore and the nearby fishing village of Kilmore Quay show us a bygone era. Local wild walks are the best, you can walk for miles across the sand dunes, along the beaches and stop for a take-out coffee or maybe enjoy huge portions of fish and chips - local produce that is so good that people travel from all over Wexford to eat here. In easy reach, there are beautiful parks, a lighthouse, a windmill, castles, golf, shopping, the National Opera House and more to visit and enjoy. Wexford is home to the world famous Wexford Festival Opera for 10 days each Oct / Nov.
  • We stayed in Teach a tri for a week and had a great time. The house was very clean and spacious for us and our little girl. They supplied a cot and high chair and toys in the front garden, which she loved! They also gave us a delicious welcoming cake! Would definitely stay here again.

2 Marina View is a light, spacious and airy apartment with stunning sea views. Located right in the centre of beautiful Kilmore Quay, we've equipped the apartment with high quality furnishing and accessories to make sure you have everything you need - and stuff you mightn't need, but will enjoy nevertheless! From cosy blankets & throws for evening snuggles in front of the contemporary wall-mounted fire and buckets & spades for long days on the beach, through to the bright and cheerful yellow Bodum tea/coffee pots in the well-equipped kitchen - you won't want for anything. We also provide a travel cot, so you don't need to add that to your luggage! Although we're sure you'll spend most of your time outside enjoying the amenities this stunning coastal spot has to offer, if you do choose to stay indoors, there's plenty to keep you entertained. We've provided traditional games (Monopoly, Kerplunk, Scrabble, Jenga and more) for the family to play together; if reading is more your thing, you'll find an eclectic selection of books (if you don't finish one, feel free to take it away with you - we just ask you replace it with one you have finished for our next guest to enjoy). The apartment also has Sky Q installed.
Kilmore Quay offers a huge array of things to do, places to visit and stunning scenery to see. I've provided a comprehensive Guest Guide in the apartment where you'll find lots of information once you arrive, but here's a snapshot: There are several high quality dining options for example, you can eat in or out at Kehoes chipper (voted in the top 10 of Ireland's chip shops) or enjoy a beautiful meal at The Silver Fox restaurant. If pub grub is more your thing, then you can wander a few hundred metres up to Kehoe's or walk/drive the 2 1/2 miles to Mary Barry's in Kilmore village. Activities/things to see and do: On your doorstep in the marina there's access to on and offshore angling, scuba, sailing and boat charters to the Saltee Islands, where you see the world famous bird sanctuary. A little further afield you can visit: The Hook Lighthouse & Peninsula - the oldest functioning lighthouse in Ireland set in stunning landscape and with a great cafe/family entertainment offering; Shielbaggan Activity Centre - a huge number of activities to choose from, including a High Ropes Course, Kayaking, Coasteering, Climbing Tower, Bouldering Wall, Archery Range, Team Development Field and Low Ropes Course, Surfing, Abseiling - endless fun! Wexford town, home to the National Opera House and much more; Waterford town, the oldest settled town in Ireland with oodles of associated history; John F. Kennedy homestead, where JFK's family came from, featuring a small museum with lots of memoirs of the famous US president; Dunbrody Famine Ship in New Ross, where you can experience the heart-breaking reality of those forced to emigrate during the Great Famine; Johnstown Castle - beautiful castle & grounds in its own right, but also home to the Irish Agricultural Museum; John F. Kennedy Arboretum - 623 acres on the southern slopes and summit of Slieve Coiltia, containing 4,500 types of trees and shrubs from all temperate regions of the world. There are also 4 orienteering routes; Ballycross Apple Farm - visit a REAL working farm dating back to 1863. There's a beautiful stone courtyard with horses heads bowing in and out of their stables. You'll also be able to see lots of other animals in their paddocks or in their pens. There's also lots of yummy home-cooked food. Tintern Abbey - Visit the ruins of the beautiful c.815 year old abbey, founded by powerful Norman knight William Marshal after he was shipwrecked in nearby Bannow. And if you fancy some pampering, there are several world class spas nearby; SeaSpa at Kelly's Resort Hotel in Rosslare Dunbrody Spa at Dunbrody House Hotel Solas Croí Spa at Brandon House Hotel, New Ross Tranquility Spa at Whites of Wexford and of course there's Monart, recently named one of the top 3 Spa Resorts in the world by Conde Nast Traveller. • Our stay at this lovely light filled apartment was excellent. We loved Kilmore Quay, even in the winter season it has a charm. The beach and marked parthways on the headland were just great for short and longer walks, all done without having to get into the car. The apartment is very well equipped and worked for us who like to self cater. We bought fresh fish from the local fish shop and a treat was when it was close to cooked, popping across the road for freshly cooked chips! Having a dog friendly apartment is wonderful and we (and dog Sophie) would love to return. John & Geraldine (Dublin)

  • Just as seen in the photos, and clean as a whistle. Lovely linens, bedding, comfy beds, and spotless bathroom with a nice shower and soft fluffy towels. We enjoyed cups of tea with the provided milk, and could have cooked a gourmet meal with the well equipped kitchen if we had had time to buy the makings. great living-room as well. Perfectly quiet, rural area and the bedrooms look out over the back garden. Very secure with a gate across the drive. 10/10 would stay again! Thank you Tracey!

  • We had a very warm welcone to Bernie's place, by her and her lovely boys. Bernie had very kindly set out tea and coffee for our arrival and chocolate which was much appreciated! The boys showed us the chickens and showed my children how yo collect the eggs, they loved it. The annexe has stunning views of the cows out to pasture and bannow island in th distance with its ruins is breath taking and so relaxing in the mornings to just sit and look out. Bernies place is spotless and she thought of everything one might need for a comfortable stay. A car is most definitely needed for this stay, as the area is so rural. We had stunning drives around to all the places bernie was able to reccomend to us. There was so much to enjoy for both adults and children. We would unreservedly reccomend Bernie as a host and we look forward to our return to Bannow Bay.

  • The location brought back memories of childhood, its rural and the beaches are 5-10 min walk away. Its a very peaceful place where you can get a great nights sleep after a days tourist activities. There is loads to do in this part of wexford and this is a great base. Bernie is a great host and has lots of info about places to go and see. We stayed in the annex, it was perfect for us, 2 adults and 1 child. It was great having the separate sitting room(from the bedroom) for chilling out and having our sit down meals together. It had a very homely feel to it, very clean, and everything we needed for cooking. Thanks for a great stay Bernie and family.

    Karen2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Bernie is a great host and her place was very comfortable and relaxing. We purposefully chose to chill and relax and didn't get out and do a whole lot. However, the food and activity recommendations were very helpful. Wonderful time and we would welcome the chance to stay here again in the future.

    John2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • It was a bit tricky to find but I’ve zero sense of direction and my sat nav and phone signal was playing up so used Bernie’s emailed directions from the church and got there within minutes. I can’t recommend Bernie’s place enough. Bernie was so welcoming and warm from the start, her family ate the sweetest! She had so much information available for us of places within the area. On arrival Bernie had left some party hats and banners out as we were there for my kids birthdays- this was a lovely and extremely thoughtful gesture! My son took ill while there and Bernie went above and beyond to help and even minded my other child. I’ve two wanna be farmers now and we look forward to our next stay next month! Xx

    Katie2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful weekend on Bernie’s farm. She and her family, including the dogs, were really friendly and helpful from start to finish. The room was comfortable and there was some lovely breakfast food left for us. A lovely rural break not far from Dublin, we would come back!

    Jill2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Bernie and her family was outstanding. My boys, 4 and 2 years old, had a great time on the farm and couldn't wait to collect the eggs and visit the calves every morning. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the house is deceptively central to all the local attractions. I would definitely recommend a stay with Bernie and her family.

    Jonathan2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place was an absolutely perfect way to end our week long trip to Ireland! Bernie is the sweetest person I’ve ever met and was the best hostess. The pictures don’t to the views justice, between the ocean and the farm, the stay was stunning! Bernie and her family were so cute and gave us a tour of the farm and even let us help out milking and feeding the calves. Alflie the farm pup was an added bonus :) We took a picnic down to the ocean on the last night and watched the sunset- it was perfect. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again next time we come back to Ireland!

    Megan2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most peaceful and enjoyable time on the breathtakingly beautiful dairy farm in Bernie's seaside annex. We were looking forward to some quiet, stress free days in the Wexford countryside and Bernie's farm was just perfect for that. She welcomed us in to the apartment with a beautiful hot cup of tea and delicious fruit cake. The apartment had a cozy lounge and a beautiful big window with a spectacular view down to the bay and across to the historical church ruins. If you love cows, chickens, and wide open spaces this farm is perfect for you. Bernie gave our children fresh full cream milk and eggs. What a treat! There are beautiful walks along a private beach and bay, with abundant countryside around it. Bernie has made a big book full of ideas on places to visit in the vacinity. She also generously filled the fridge with all sorts of goodies for breakfast. We felt so at peace here, it was a real joy, and such a blessing. Thank you Bernie for your kindness and generosity. We will be sure to return. Our family loved every minute of it.

From the first moment Rene answered all the messages very fast offering her help. The house is very clean and easy to keep clean every day. • We had a lovely stay at Rene's! Rene and her husband are very nice, friendly people who made us feel very welcome! The house itself is a lovely little house in rural Wexford, with a large back garden for kids to play in. It's a great base for exploring Wexford, and is close to Kilmore Quay, some amazing beaches, great seafood restaurants. I enjoyed morning walks in the sun with my daughter, along the road the house is on, picking wild flowers. Thanks for a great stay and for some special family memories! We loved it so much we are going to come back next year.

    Sean2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Rene’s cosy cottage welcomes you, as our host is extremely warm and courteous, and interacted with our boys on arrival. Rene gave us some good local tips. The cottage was sparkling clean and close to some beautiful beaches. It’s also not too far to Kilmore Quay, about 10km to the east, which is a must to visit. The cottage is well situated to explore the hook peninsula to the west too. All in all a good quiet country location, which exudes pure and utter peace. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here!
