  • This was our second time staying at Valerie's cabin and it did not disappoint. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time as always.

    Gabriel2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was an excellent choice for my family stay in Utah. It was nicely located between several national parks and the surrounding area/neighborhood were absolutely beautiful. It was truly a mountain escape. The cabin is nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. Valerie was an excellent host and was quick to respond to any questions I had along the way.

  • We had a pleasant stay at this beautiful cabin. It was very clean when we arrived, and the amenities are complete. Really recommended for people visiting the Zion/Bryce area.

    Pangus2016-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The description of the cabin was accurate and the amenities listed were all there. There was even a cooler with ice packs ready in the freezer. We used it every day we were there to make lunches for our day hikes. It truly is a "cozy cedar Mountain Cabin". Beautiful setting, very peaceful and remote yet our day time destinations ie. Zion and Bryce, were within about an hour's drive. Very happy there, would definitely come back again. Thank you for sharing your home with us Valerie.

    Karen2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Valerie was an excellent hostess. I could not find something when we arrived and she responded right away. We loved the cabin, it was absolutely charming. We especially enjoyed the firepit, seeing deer and wild turkey in the yard and the billions of stars at night.

    Denise2016-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was wonderful and was exactly as described/pictured in the listing! Very cozy and clean/well-kept. Essentials for cooking (pons/pans/bowls) and for laundry and such were all provided. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and it was the perfect location for us to get to both Zion and Bryce National Parks to hike!! It snowed quite a bit while we were there but the neighborhood roads were plowed fairly quickly and the main roads were totally cleared! So we were still able to get out easily for our hiking adventures! Valerie was very welcoming and helpful in responding quickly to any questions that we had along the way. We had a great experience and would definitely come back to visit again!!

    Bobbie2016-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great experience at the cabin. A beautiful setting, and the cabin was well-outfitted and meticulously maintained. We had no issues at all. On the second night we were there, we were treated to a spring snowfall of 4-5 inches. Driving down the mountain the morning we left was beautiful and also some fun. Fortunately we had a four-wheel drive vehicle! The location of this property is unique and perfect for persons who want to visit both Zion and Bryce Canyon NPs. Further, it is located in an area that is a treat and unique unto itself - in Duck Creek Village.

There is a wood burning stove. Here are some general safety procedures from online to follow. Building an effective fire requires good firewood (using the right wood in the right amount), and good fire-building practices. Obtain the best efficiency from your wood stove by following these practical steps: Season wood outdoors through the hot, dry summer for at least 6 months before burning it. Properly seasoned wood is darker, has cracks in the end grain, and sounds hollow when smacked against another piece of wood. Store wood outdoors, stacked neatly off the ground with the top covered. Start fires with clean newspaper and dry kindling. Burn hot, bright fires. But use smaller fires in milder weather. Let the fire burn down to coals, then rake the coals toward the air inlet (and wood stove door), creating a mound. Do not spread the coals flat. Reload your wood stove by adding at least three pieces of wood each time, on and behind the mound of hot coals. Avoid adding one log at a time. Regularly remove ashes from the wood stove into a metal container with a cover, and store outdoors.

  • The cabin was absolutely beautiful! It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us and it wasn't crowded at all. I would highly recommend staying here and will possibly be back again myself!

  • Even in a winter storm couldn't put a damper on a fun weekend! The cabin was so comfortable and equipped with everything you need! Steven was such a great communicator and was quick in his responses! Definitely would recommend this place for your Duck Creek getaway

    Kate2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Steven's place was perfect! We visited right before Christmas and it was a winter wonderland, the view and the snow was beautiful! The cabin was spacious, clean, and comfortably fit all 14 of us. We really enjoyed our weekend away from the city and the hot tub was great after spending the day in the snow. I definitely recommend it and look forward to returning.

  • This cabin was a wonderful get away for my family vacation! We comfortably fit 8 adults and 2 toddlers. Though not near any major grocery stores, it was easy to load up on groceries for the week before hand. Drives to Bryce and Zion National Parks were very doable for day trips and we also had a lot of fun exploring Dixie National Forest. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family =)

    Katherine2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, plenty of room, awesome amenities.

    Amy2016-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this cabin in the woods! If you are visiting Bryce and Zion this cabin is perfectly located right between the two. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cabin is very comfortable and can easily accommodate 3 couples plus kids. We didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub unfortunately. Sandra is very responsive and a pleasure!

    Laura2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage was an excellent place for our family of four to stay. The kids had separate sleeping areas and loved the bunk beds. We have stayed at a lot of guest houses and we found that by far, this one was the most well-equipped. The kitchen has any of the utensils found in a complete kitchen at home, and they and the dishware are all in good condition - definitely not hand-me-downs. The bed linens and towels were also first-rate. We didn't use the video entertainment much, but there are dozens of video games, DVDs, and VHS to keep you entertained in case you get stuck in a snowstorm. Keep in mind that there is a lot of snow here. We found that Zion was about 30F degrees warmer than Duck Creek, but the roads and driveways were all cleared. The Pinewoods resort is close enough to walk to and we went there for dinner one night. Bring groceries if you plan to eat in - there aren't a lot of shopping opportunities nearby except for gas stations. All in all, this is a terrific place and I would recommend it for anyone, year-round.

    DAVID2017-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for 2 days at the cabin with my company, Explorer Chick. When we arrived, the place had not yet been cleaned. I reached out to Sandra and Steven immediately. I received a quick response and they arrange for the cleaning crew to arrive. They were very apologetic and fixed the issue immediately. The cabin is great. Perfect for day trips to Bryce and Zion. We loved it! It was great for 5 women. The set up was perfect. Thanks!

  • Valerie was an AMAZING host. She is so thoughtful and helpful. I loved that aside from the coziness of the cabin, she provided a list of activities and even meals to help plan our getaway. The cabin is in the perfect location. Quiet and secluded, yet located less than a mile away from restaurants and shops. The cabin itself is clean, fully furnished, and relaxing. Perfect for a family or couples retreat. Valerie is always available to answer any questions, any time. I had several questions, so that was extremely beneficial for us. We will definitely be back soon! Wonderful stay!

    Anastasia2017-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Chillin' Post was awesome! The cabin was clean and had a ton of family entrainment... board games, foosball, movies, and much more. My kids had a blast playing and exploring outside of the cabin. Valerie also gave us a lot of information of activities to do around Duck Creek, which was very helpful for first timers. We thought Duck Creek was absolutely beautiful with many outdoor activities. Thank you again Valerie can't wait to go back!

    Esther 2017-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is awesome! It has all the amenity that anyone would ever need. Valerie provided plenty of information and instruction to the place. Even though we didn't meet Valerie, there are plenty of instructions at the cabin that we never had to wonder what to do. The cabin is tastefully decorated and very clean. We really wish we could stay longer.

  • Absolutely the only way to stay in Utah if you want to be close to both Zion national park and Bryce Canyon national park. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with a modern bathroom. Valerie provided us with plenty of information to make our stay enjoyable including movies, books and board games. We took advantage of the laundry service as well which is a huge plus. Nothing can replace that indoor fireplace cabin feel.

  • We highly recommend the Chillin' Post if you are thinking about visiting Zion or Bryce Canyon National Parks, it is right between the two. Our family of 4 loved the secluded retreat. Valerie is a great host and has equipped the house with everything you might need, including wifi, washer/dryer, satellite TV, and an outdoor fire pit for those cool mountain evenings. She even sends you a welcome package that tells you things to do in the area and the best place to buy groceries. The house is super clean and very cozy.

  • Scott was amazing. We contacted him a few hours before booking last minute, he responded promptly answering the many questions I had. He was very hospitable and made everything from check-in to check-out seamless. The cabin had everything needed for a short or long stay, and more! We didn't have a lot of time to plan, so all of the added amenities in the cabin made our stay very comfortable and convenient. The kitchen had more cookware, supplies, utensils, etc than most of friends have in their houses. The house was stocked well with anything needed! I was concerned with safety and wifi when looking for a place to stay. The property was fenced in in the back which was great for the toddler we had running around, and the wifi worked well without any issues. Also have to give kudos to the maid as she did an excellent job cleaning the cabin before we arrived! We would definitely recommend this property to others! Just make sure you have a 4wheel drive vehicle to take on the quick unpaved road up to the cabin!

Aspen Court is located in the heart of Duck Creek Village on beautiful Cedar Mountain in Utah. We are a work in progress, which currently hosts Rental Cabins, a Gazebo with Outdoor Kitchen, Several RV Spaces, & The Outpost, serving fast food & shaved ice seasonally (May – Sept). We are nestled in close proximity to Navajo Lake, Duck Creek Pond, & within walking distance to Aspen Mirror Lake. Our elevation is 8400 feet. It can be very chilly even in the middle of summer. It snows Nov-April.
Remember to purchase groceries in nearby Cedar City before making the 29 mile trip to Duck Creek. Duck Creek has a hardware store & a gas station, with a very limited amount of necessities nearby.
  • Donna's cabin in Duck Creek was perfect for what my family needed. It's situated between Zion (90 minutes) and Bryce Canyon (60 minutes) National Park which made for multiple day trips manageable, especially for days where we preferred to go later in the afternoon. There is a queen size bed situated in the loft and two sofa beds in the main living area. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and spices. Outside, you have a fire pit, bbq on the front porch and a swing set on the property. We didn't spend much time in Duck Creek village but I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin for anyone interested in checking out the National Parks in Southern Utah. Also note that you're at over 8500 ft in elevation so it might take a day to physically adjust.

  • The cabin was wonderful! We were thrilled with the experience. It was cozy, stocked with more than we expected and the location was wonderful for a weekend in the village. Donna was available for questions and we'll be back for sure!

    Lauri2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is just what the doctor ordered! Great base for exploring all the natural wonders around (1-2 hour scenic drive to Bryce, Zion, Page). Even the village itself was a great place to get away to (walking distance to a lake where you can picnic, walk, fish). Great long weekend break from the city life in Los Angeles—didn’t want to go home yet! Didn’t get to meet the host in person, but I received quick responses to my questions and the check-in was very easy. Raved about it to my friends (with great pictures for visual) and now I have a few people asking me to take them to the area.

    Nina2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great, relaxing time last weekend at Duck Creek. This cabin was the perfect size for us and our 2 fur babies. Ron & Donna were great hosts. We loved how the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We also loved how close the lake was to the cabin which was perfect for fishing. We definitely will try to come back again.

    Megan2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic! Very friendly and hospitable hosts. The location (Duck Creek Village) is central to both Bryce and Zion. It was less than an hour to Bryce, so you have to get up a little earlier if you want to catch a photo from Bryce Point at sunrise, but so worth it! You feel far enough away from all the motels and tour buses, but are close enough to get in and get out back to somewhere you can relax. Perfect sized place for a couple plus two small dogs. If you want to take the dogs hiking with you, try Red Canyon- National Forest (vs. National Park) so dogs are allowed on leash. Wifi was spotty and did not work, but we weren't bothered by it as it was nice to disconnect. If driving, bring some good steaks from home for the BBQ- that was my only regret!

    Paul2017-05-21T00:00:00Z

  • We had a fabulous time in Donna and Ron's cabin. The location is wonderful if visiting Bryce or Zion or to just stay put in Duck creek village and check out the surrounding location. This place has a great fishing lake in walking distance and is a ATV capital (though i am not a enthusiast myself). The cabin is perfect.

Newly remodeled mountain cabin in Dixie National Forest near Zion National Park, Bryce National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument. Access to miles of ATV/Snowmobile trails and a short walk to Duck Creek Village.
This is a great place to relax, unwind, breathe the mountain air, and experience all the great outdoor activities close at hand. The cabin is ready for a great vacation in the mountains. The cabin is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and there is a wood burning stove that keeps the common area toasty on cold nights. Each room also has individually controlled base board heaters. The house sits on a 1/2 acre, and has plenty of room to enjoy some privacy. We consider this our home away from home and love to visit with our two young children, and are happy to have you enjoy this little piece of the wilderness.

In the village, there are shops, restaurants, UTV/Snowmobile rentals, friendly locals, and a slow easy pace.
  • This cabin was a great location and beautiful surroundings. Very clean, spacious and was more than enough space for the 5 of us. The kitchen had all the items that we needed to prepare some food during our stay. Bedrooms and bathrooms had everything that we needed, clean and very comfortable. One note to anyone considering staying here, the first time to this location, go during the daylight hours. This place is remote and would be difficult to find at night. Also, a full service supermarket is a good 35 minute drive in the mountains, one way.

    Carl2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew is very helpful he answers any questions before and after arriving to the cabin. The cabin was perfect for our family of seven (3 of them under the age of 6) . Definitely perfect for a family vacation. The cabin location is close to several beautiful sites to visit, such as , Zion's national park and Dixie national Forrest ,and many other sites, but far enough away for personal space. The cabin had everything we needed. We definitely recommend it to anyone and will definitely go back for next family vacation.

  • The location is perfect! Amazing view, great for large parties. A group of 15 of us wanted to get away from the city and wanted a large enough place. We found the perfect home! It was clean and inviting. The four bathrooms were a huge plus! It felt like home. We had plenty of room and the kitchen felt like our own. The spice selection was great. We had forgotten our garlic powder and found some in the cupboards! The guys enjoyed the fire pit, while the girls and kiddos enjoyed the warmth inside waiting on our S'mores. This home is a must, for a great home away from home! Thank you!

  • We stayed at The Lodge at Duck Creek Village from May 14-17, 2015 and all seven of us LOVED it! Our host was very responsive when it came to email and phone communication. The cabin was what we were looking for and more! It had all the amenities needed and it was a super comfortable stay. We made use of the BBQ grill and of the in-unit washer and dryer. We were extremely happy with our stay here and would definitely come back! Thanks for everything!

  • The directions and description of these apartments are great. Getting to any of the state and national parks is a breeze! Just make sure you go through Cedar City if there's weather. The apartment is well equipped for kids and adults alike, with limited tchotchkes and a pantry that includes s'mores gear! The grill is perfect and there's soap provided for the washing machine. There's even a great little church and a pizza place. Make sure to pick up booze in Cedar City during daylight hours if you're so inclined.

  • Our stay at Duck Creek Lodge was great! Mike was extremely helpful in giving us driving directions in the middle of the night and making sure we had everything we needed. The unit was cozy enough for seven adults, even on a rainy day when going outside wasn't much of an option. The Lodge is in a good location for visiting both Bryce and Zion National Parks. The neighborhood also had almost everything we needed, including a gas station and post office.

    Natasha2015-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nice location. Comfortable accommodations with good furnishings. Enjoyed the stay. Planning to book the lodge in the future.

  • Mike sent a detailed email and texts with directions on how to find his condo. We were just a little surprised with how rustic Duck Creek Village was, but it was quiet. We loved the beautiful accommodations! Having 2.5 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen and laundry facilities for a family of 6 was awesome! We loved the cozy fireplace too!! Our only regret is that we did not get to spend more time IN the condo. We were too busy driving to and exploring the national parks in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

    Gordon2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at the Bear's Den! The kitchen was nicely sized, and was equip with everything we needed, including spices and foil. Mike was very responsive to any questions we had, and we loved renting snowmobiles for the day, too. I would highly recommend!

My place is close to Zion, Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. You’ll love my place because it is tucked deep inside the Dixie National Forest at an altitude of 8700 ft. My place is great for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
My property is right in the forest. You will see deer and all kinds of other wild animals. The air is fresh and there's a quaint little village just down the hill.
Close to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Navajo Lake, Panguitch Lake, Duck Creek Village, Brian Head Resort
  • The house is very quiet and perfect for sound sleep. Kids liked the hammock on the front yard, and cooing marshmallows on the backyard fire-pit. The air is super clean and the sky is dark and star filled. Zion and Bryce are both 45 min drive away. I think you can walk to rent an ATV (4 wheeled motorcycle for 2 or 4 people) and go for miles and miles. I saw a lot of ATVs all around. We'll be back to this place!

    Olena2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent scenery , accommodations comfortable and adequate - plenty of space outdoor area very quiet - private - saw deer - fire pit was perfect - tons of wood - shower inside was awesome with great water pressure - tons of hikes and lake within a few miles - would suggest you bring your food to cook the few restaurants in village are not very good - all in all a nice spot !

    David2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Really quiet place, close to nature.

    Olena2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley was a great host, really cares about his guest. Everything was portrayed accurately. Check in and checking out was simple, and communication was very good. The house is kept very clean, and it's very cozy. 5 minute drive to town, lakes, creeks, and woods.

  • Excellent place, we had a great time!

    Nick2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ashley's place is not fancy but very clean, quiet and functional. We got in with no problems and able to drive to places easily for fishing and Bryce Canyon. My only suggestion might be that Ashley leave an info. sheet with the wifi password and clean up instructions so guests don't have to bother him with messages. We would stay again.

    Bette2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • This location was perfect for me and my friend on our road trip. We were very comfortable at Ashley's place. It was nice to be surrounded by other cabins, but feel secluded as well. The cabin has a 70's feel to it, and was very spacious! Ashley was a generous host, he was communicative and made sure we were well-taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Kathleen was a great host and very responsive. The house was cleaned and as described. It's actually a lot bigger than how it looked in the pictures. The porch is amazing, and has a great view of the creek. It is very conveniently located right off the highway, and is easily accessible. Love it! Will recommend it to anyone.

    Hai2015-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Kathleen was efficient and easy to deal with. The cabin was cosy and warm which was good because it was very cold outside!

    Arabella2016-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin looks exactly like shown in the pictures. Loved the interior design - it was nice and cozy and ideal for a snowy night. Duck Creek Village had the perfect dark sky for those who enjoy stargazing. Kathleen was very helpful. She made sure we arrive at the cabin safely, and responded fast to any of our questions. Would definitely love to visit again and recommend the cabin to anyone.

Imagine having a master bedroom that has a full size TV, an on-suite, a walk-in closet, and French doors that lead out to a patio deck. Then there is the queen bedroom that has a full bathroom and more French doors for you to step out onto the patio deck to enjoy the scenery and fresh air. On the top floor is also one full/twin size bunk bedroom. Moving onto one of the more important areas of the cabin, the fully stocked kitchen and a dining table that can sit ten or more people.
A newly built two story rental cabin that can accommodate your friends and family perfectly! With five bedrooms and three bathrooms and almost 3,000 square feet, there is enough space for everyone
Excellent location to start and welcoming end to a day of ATVing or snowmobiling. Mud room with sink ready for such days.
  • I was in touch with Michael through out our stay at Harmony Meadow. The host was quick to respond. This is a beautiful house in a great location. We visited Zion and Bryce national parks. But the kids just wanted to be back home so that they would play in the snow, enjoy the swings and sleep in the bunk beds. Loved our stay here.

    Gireesh2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • We went to stay at Harmony Meadow for Christmas. When booking I let them know that our hope/intention was to go to the mountains (from the desert) to enjoy a white Christmas. When we arrived the cabin/home was completely set up for a Christmas feel. Exterior lights, Christmas tree, you name it, it was there. The only thing we had to bring was ourselves! Great place to stay! Our family would highly reccommend! On a side note: our host checked on us multiple times to make sure that we were enjoying our stay! Thanks again Michael.

    Jake2016-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about how much my family and I enjoyed our stay at Harmony Meadow. This was my first airbnb vacation and it far exceeded my expectations. Michael was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay. The home was very clean when we arrived. Even the bedding smelled really fresh! Cooking was a breeze thanks to a well equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed, all we had to do is bring the food! The layout of the house was perfect for a family gathering. It has two living/gathering spaces, a Great Room upstairs with beautiful views and a game room downstairs, also with views and both had Direct TV. 2 of the bedrooms and a bathroom were downstairs as well, which meant we never felt crowded. Having a laundry room was very handy as well. Something else that worked out well is the location of the home to the main road. We ended up getting a lot of snow but since the home was not set too far back from the road, we were able to get our non 4x4 wheel drive vehicles in and out of the driveway without an issue. The neighborhood is beautiful and the little Duck Creek Village shops and restaurants were great. Aunt Sue's Chalet is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also rented snowmobiles from Falcon's Nest which we could ride to and from the house. I really hope to be able to stay at Harmony Meadow again, maybe in the summer next time so we can rent ATVs and hike. Thinking about the next trip makes me smile.

  • Cabin nice just the fridge was leaking water. Had a keurig but I need the regular coffee maker. Overall it's a nice cabin but the water heater needs to be looked at cause there wasn't always hot water available for 5 + people

    Chris2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fantastic gathering place for our family and friends. The layout of the house made it so convenient for the kids to have play areas and the grownups could hang out separately. Our kids were delighted with the air hockey table and huge amount of games books and puzzles for them to choose from. Our children had such a wonderful time in the yard which had a great fence around most of the property so we felt comfortable just letting them play. We hope to return soon!

    Emily2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was beautiful, it was well provisioned, roomy and very clean. We had a few issues with bugs, but nothing unexpected for a cabin in the woods. We will definitely be willing to stay here again.

    Christopher 2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin's cabin was beautiful and the kitchen was very well equipped. Our group of eight fit comfortably in the spacious cabin. The fireplaces were a nice touch and the views of the stars at night was amazing. From this location we were able to hike Zion, Bryce and the North Rim. Delays at the tunnels at Zion contributed to a longer drive time to reach the parking lot (approx 1:25). Beautiful area and experienced some rather chilly mornings due to the 9500 ft elevation at the cabin. Great place! Would stay again!

    Bob2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin was an amazing host. He helped answer all of our questions before departure and had a Welcome Package with s'mores waiting for us! The pictures of this home are accurate, but it is more beautiful in person, and the location is breathtaking. Kevin's kitchen had all the comforts of our own, we did not need anything. Kevin gave us grocery store options in Cedar City as Duck Creek doesn't have any. The town of Duck Creek is quaint and quiet and the drive to Brian Head Ski Resort wasn't difficult. We were able to walk to the snowmobile rental a few doors down. The downstairs game room was great for family movie night, but the best part was the picture windows in the living room that looked out over the meadows covered in snow. We would definitely come back! One of the best places we have rented and one of the best hosts we have had the pleasure of working with.

    Donna2016-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin's place was very spacious and extremely clean. They had the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry stocked with everything we needed. It is right between Zion and Bryce Canyon which we visited both during our week. We grilled out several nights and used the fire pit one evening. He was very quick to answer any questions we had and was pleasant to deal with. We had a group of eight stay there comfortably and would recommend this home to anyone!

    Rhonda2017-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely house and the host was very responsive to our needs. The house is very clean and well maintained. It is conveniently located within 30-40 min drive to Bryan head and 1 hour to Zion Canyon. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials (and beyond). Highly recommended. In Summary; clean and spacious house, scenic location, responsive host, and great for families/group. We had an issue getting in the house on our arrival, but it was resolved quickly by the host.

    Afshin2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Kevin's cabin due to the central location to zion and bryce canyons. The location worked out very well in allowing us to visit the parks, while also keeping a home base. Some members just wanted to stay back and enjoy the piece and quiet of duck creek and sit out on the nice decks of the cabin. The cabin itself was well suited for our group. Plenty of comfortable beds for the 8 adults and 4 children. Never a problem with available bathrooms and showers. The game rooms provided a great place for the kids while leaving the rest of the cabin to the adults. The kitchen was well appointed and the grill was great. Duck Creek: The stars at night are beautiful. We spent every night sitting around the nice fire ring cooking Smores and staring at the sky in amazement. The sky was so clear, we could see things that we would never be able to see at home. You must visit the Duck creek visitor center. They provided several hidden gems to visit just minutes away. Thank you Kevin for everything. We had a wonderful time!

Fully equipped 2 bedroom 1 bath "cabin" more like a small home with all the conveniences (WiFi, DISH TV, refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, all new furniture etc.) yet being up on top of a mountain next to wildlife and all the activities! Huge wood-burning stove, new fanless (safe) wall heaters, cozy electric blankets keep things nice and toasty in the winter! Summers don't get warmer than 80 degrees during the day!
We bought the cabin in June 2015 after falling in love with the area on our first trip in April 2015. During that trip we visited Zion National Park (it was like summer that day in April), came back to Duck Creek and had 5" of snow that night. We went to Bryce Canyon the next day and had snow again. The following day we went to Kanab to visit Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and had very nice spring/summer weather.....WE HAD ALL FOUR SEASONS IN ONE TRIP!!!! We loved it so much that we went back to look at property and bought our Pine Ridge Paradise! We have done a great deal of work on the cabin and the wooded lot. We installed 3 new Envi High Efficiency whole room convection wall panel fanless heaters for the bedrooms and main living area. They are SAFE for children, slim and silent (no fan). Each bedroom and living area can be controlled separately 2 bedrooms each with NEW king beds and bedding 1 large full bath with tub/shower combo in between both bedrooms (separate access to bathroom) NEW queen sofa sleeper in large main living area ** Full Kitchen including full size refrigerator, oven, NEW above range/oven full-size microwave (not in photos), dishwasher (needs to be attached to kitchen faucet to run). We do dishes by hand most the time. ** All NEW coffee maker, toaster, blender, large crock pot, plenty of dish ware, cookware, utensils and specialty cooking items too! **NEW 55" Smart HDTV with Blue ray player and surround sound system. DISH satellite. **Huge, beautiful wood burning stove with blower in large living area (wood provided)....heats up the entire cabin very quickly! There is plenty of wood stacked against the cabin. There is an axe and other tools for chopping wood. You may want to bring kindling, paper for starting a fire (if you're not familiar with starting a fire) **Large deck with all new, high quality patio furniture and propane BBQ grill **All NEW Fire pit outside next to the cabin.....make s'mores (yes, we have plenty of marshmallow/hot dog sticks), have a cocktail by the fire, look up and the stars! Plenty of chairs and space. **Garage under cabin for toy storage (ATV, OHV, bikes etc.) not quite large enough for a car/truck.....great to work on ATVs, snowmobiles, bikes etc. **Full size washer and dryer in garage (under main living area of cabin, see photos) **RV parking and plenty of space for vehicle parking. **VERY HIGH SPEED WiFi Internet **Plenty of games, books, puzzles, and area guide literature **All one level living Wildlife abounds here.....plenty of deer, birds, chipmunks, squirrels, crazy gaggles of wild turkeys rumble around our lot and surrounding vacant lot before taking flight to roost in the trees in front of our deck! They look like lumbering, heavy planes trying to get a running start to fly! • Cedar Breaks National Monument 20 min. • Zion National Park 46 miles • Bryce Canyon 45 min. N. rim of the Grand Canyon • Mammoth Caves 20 minutes • Cascade Falls 10 minutes by vehicle or ATV • 45 min Brian Head ski/mt. • Biking resort 45 min. • Navajo Lake 10 min. • Panguitch Lake 20 min.
Our fabulous Pine Ridge Paradise is on a dead end street providing privacy AND very little dust issues from cars and ATVs rushing by!!!! This can be a big issue in our area! Duck Creek Village is a small mountain town that sits right off Highway 14 on Cedar Mountain in Dixie National Forrest and is a gateway to some amazing near by National Parks including Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon. With highway 14 taking you east to Highway 89 you can virtually be to Zion to Bryce in just about an hour and escape the hectic park traffic nearby the parks. The Cedar Mountain town called Duck Creek is full of Pines, Cedar, and Aspen filled meadows that all has an abundance of wildlife. The local wildlife include; Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope, Black Bear, Cougar, Turkey, Grouse, and many other small game.
  • Great communication! The cabin was better than pictures show. We got a lot of snow and it was perfectly cozy. It was perfect for us. I will definitely be back!

  • This was a great option for our family. We enjoyed making meals in the well stocked kitchen and eating out on the deck. The laundry facilities were helpful. It was a little bit of a drive but we managed to do Zion 2 days, Bryce, Kanaraville (favorite) and swim in a few reservoirs. It was very hot south so it was nice that it was much cooler here, my family appreciated a break from the heat!

    Sharon2017-04-20T00:00:00Z

  • The cabin was wonderful! We would definitely stay again!

    Tammy2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • The most perfect place to stay after a great hike. Great activities at the cabin: board games, fire pit, BBQ, Netflix, books, and hi-speed internet. Ideal location when visiting both Zion & Bryce as it's right in the middle. A few warnings: go shopping as Duck Creek is limited on food, the roads are not paved so be prepared, the half-bath is located outside, wild turkeys come and go, the garbage dumpster is at the entrance of Duck Creek and listen to the host regarding the weather and how it affects access to the cabin. But overall, we had a blast at the cabin. Definitely will come back again when visiting Zion & Bryce.

    Tatjana2017-04-04T00:00:00Z

Cozy and rustic cabin tucked away in the Utah mountains. Surrounded by pines and clean air. Living room with loveseat, 2 chairs, tv and gas fireplace. Open split loft with 2 comfy, warm queen beds. One bathroom with shower. BEST PART--Front and back decks. The area has ample hiking and ATV trails, fishing, and close Bryce Canyon and Zion.
Super comfortable cabin without all of the city chatter. Great spaces for conversation and a peaceful night's sleep. Sip warm coffee/cold mimosas on the front deck in the morning and bbq on the back deck in the evening. Too chilly outside? Enjoy a warm and cozy living space inside. Perfect for conversation or a Netflix movie. (No TV services and not sorry for it =-) ) Shower is warm but no tub for a bubble bath ladies. Lots of towels and amenities for your use. Two queen beds are super soft, warm and hard to get out of in the morning. Keep in mind that it's a loft, not separate bedrooms.
Typically a very quiet area. You can expect squirrels, chipmunks, birds, turkeys and deer to make an appearance.

  • A perfect cabin hideaway in the mountains, comfortable and clean.

    Robert2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin was exactly as described and perfect for our family. Although the beds were in a loft, the sleeping area was very spacious and had a little separation/privacy from the staircase. (stairs were a little steep so my only note would be possibly not suitable for really little ones or elderly) but everything else was perfect. Loved the location and ambiance... private, cozy and relaxing, yet very close to town conveniences. Randy and Barb were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Great, great experience!! Look forward to making it back there!

We had fun exploring Dixie National Forest for hikes and fishing; all close by! Caught so many fish, we were throwing some back!

  • Perfect mountain spot!

    Monica and David2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is the most secluded cabin we have stayed in. It's also the most comfortable and inviting. We stayed here for the last 2 nights of a week long road trip through Colorado and Utah and it was the perfect place to slow down, reflect on the great experiences we had, and recharge, before heading back home to city life. The hosts are great and supplied everything we needed for a wonderful stay. There is plenty of room in the living room for a family to socialize. Both beds are upstairs in the most comfortable loft I've ever been in. The only way I could get my daughter downstairs was for a fire in the pit or to ride ATVs. We definitely recommend to others and will stay there the next time we are in southern Utah.

  • Bonnie would not return our phone calls as we were traveling to and once we got to Duck Creek; we made 6 of them. Finally, Ti from Falcon Nest cabins got through but Bonnie had her son in law call us instead of herself and he was no help at all. Directions unclear, wasn't sure how to get into the condo, but Ashley from Hot Mamas Pizza helped us and she actually got the code to the door somehow and helped us get in. Worst airbnb experience with a host. On the bright side, the condo was beautiful, and clean.

  • These condos are quiet, clean and beautiful. About an hour from Bryce Canyon and Zion but a bit of a hike if you are planning on going to Arizona. Duck Creek Village is a beautiful small town with great views and remote location. We had trouble with the refrigerator being broken but the property manager was able to move us into a vacant condo after asking for two days. Another bummer is the futon, if you are over 100 pounds you might as well sleep on the couch. Other than that, the price and location of this AirBnB is a steal and will be back if I ever come back to this area!!

  • Place was clean, amenities were on point, the location is beautiful. A+

  • Bonnie's place is the perfect homebase for visiting Bryce and Zion National Park. Duck Creek Village also offers ATV rentals, and there are hiking trails right there. We ate at Suzy's Cafe and really enjoyed the food. The pie was amazing.

  • We loved the house and Brett was very helpful. He answered our questions and gave us some great suggestions. There were 11 of us and the house was perfect for a family reunion.

  • Spacious well equipped to handle our large family! The area was beautiful! Nice to get away from the City for a few days and enjoy the quiet life!

    Brandi2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • House was very clean, beautiful neighborhood, and close to Bryce Canyon. Great place to get away, relax, and enjoy all the breathtaking views. Everyone in my group loved staying here and are already talking about returning sometime next year. I would recommend staying here to any of my friends and family. The owner, Brett, made sure we had everything we needed and also followed up giving us a call to see how our stay went.

    Don2014-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The house was lovely. Large and cosy at the same time. We loved the space. Comfortable couches and beds, and a kitchen table big enough to sit eight people comfortably. Everything was very clean. I'd recommend a four wheel drive vehicle. We did ok with a two wheel drive rental, but it was a little dicy. You'll probably be doing a lot of cooking as there isn't much in the way of restaurants nearby. The kitchen is very nice, but the cooking implements are not great, so bring essentials with you if you can. The location is great if you are going to Zion or Bryce Canyon National Parks. We went to both. It's an hour to an hour and a half to either one. We had very clear night sky and saw lots of stars. You could even make out the bands of the milky way, which is a real treat for city dwellers. You're expected to take your trash out with you to a neighborhood dump, which could be a problem if you only have a small car. They also ask you to put all the cooking implements and dishes away where you found them, which could be a problem if you're not paying attention.

  • Robin made us feel so welcome! She was quick to answer every question we had. The pictures on this listing don't really do it justice. This adorable cabin is nestled in a forest and gives you a sense of total peace and privacy. Though there are other cabins nearby, we never saw/heard anyone other than an occasional neighbor on the road passing by. On the second morning, my husband and I had coffee on the patio, and a deer came right up to us and then jaunted away. While there, we went to a couple of National Parks - it is within a few hours drive to a number of them. We also managed to squeeze in some fishing. The whole family was wishing we could have stayed longer, and that we could see the cabin in the fall / winter.

  • Great cabin that gives feeling of seclusion but still within short drive to restaurants/shops. Easy access to Bryce Canyon area. Recommend exploring nearby sights (Duck Creek visitor center staff were so informative!!!) Cabin was clean, well equipped, quiet, fun! Ample wildlife (deer, birds) were observed right off the porch.

  • Ricky's cabin was the perfect place for my family and friends when we were touring Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. It's up in the hills about halfway between the two, and a great quiet spot to choose for a relaxing stay in the woods. The cabin has a large high-ceiling living room, open-plan master bedroom upstairs, two other enclosed rooms on the ground floor/basement, and two and a half bathrooms. We enjoyed counting the deer on the ride home every evening, cooking family meals in the kitchen, and spending the evening hanging out and talking in the beautiful living room or the wraparound outside deck. Ricky was a great host from afar, very easy to communicate with, and the cabin is even more spacious than the photos suggest. Highly recommended!

  • We absolutely loved our stay at Empty Saddle. Beautiful home, plenty of space, and comfortable. The house is beutiful, it was a large and imaginative place for the kids to play! The game room was great. It was great to have so many TVs. We loved making s'mores in fire pit! The surrounding area was beautiful! All in all it was a wonderful experience!

    Becky2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great week at Empty Saddle. The cabin is about an hour from Bryce and Zion. Duck Creek has a few shops nearby, but we didn't spend much time there. Closest city with decent groceries, etc. is Cedar City, which is about 1/2 hour away. The cabin itself provided lots of rec opportunities with pool, ping pong, and foosball, which we enjoyed after hiking and sightseeing all day. We liked the various seating areas, which accommodated our group of 7. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates, glasses and pots and pans. We also liked the gas fireplaces. There is no TV, and the wi-fi is limited, so we all had to take turns connecting.

    Jarred2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this cabin for New Year's Eve! The cabin was clean and the location is beautiful. There was a group of 8 of us though, and our only real complaint was that we did not sleep comfortably. There are two Queen beds in separate rooms, and one fold-out couch bed. The house should list that it sleeps 6, not 8. Other than the squished sleeping arrangements, we don't have too many complaints. Michael obviously runs multiple properties so communication with him can be difficult. This cabin would be perfect for 2 couples who want a quiet getaway! Be prepared to bring your own amenities such as hand soap for the bathrooms.

  • Wonderful place to stay. If you're looking to visit the nearby National Parks don't hesitate to consider staying at this location. The house is the perfect quiet retreat after a long day of hiking and exploring and Michelle has gone above and beyond to provide all sorts of fun entertainment for all ages within the home. The only drawback could be the rural location, but I suppose it all depends on what you’re looking for. We found everything we could have needed in the nearby Duck Creek Village and we wanted down time in between our adventures. We were meeting up with family we hadn’t seen in a while and it was the perfect place to feel more intimate. You won’t have to worry about being surrounded by tourists and traffic in this location and it’s only an hour drive either way to Bryce or Zion. Having visited both parks and seen touristy areas around the National Parks, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here instead in the future. It’s just more our style.

It is less than an hour from Bryce and Zion. 2.5 hours from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The home is beautiful and well equipped. The mountains are scenic with plenty of wildlife. We had 14 people total, and the home is comfortable and there are many rooms/beds to choose from. We enjoyed playing air hockey and foosball table in the basement. • Happy Trails Cabin was the perfect place for our annual Friend Reunion! It was perfect for all our needs! Our kids loved playing on the play ground - they never wanted to come inside! The adults loved relaxing in the hot tub and chatting on the amazingly comfortable couches and around the fire! We really enjoyed our stay! Phil and Joleen have put a lot of time into making their cabin so warm and inviting! It was perfect! We will forever cherish the memories we made there(:

  • We had a fantastic time here. We met as older siblings and children. Our kids particularly loved the game room, playground, and firepit. The smores kit was a nice touch. We enjoyed the nice long table and the kitchen was well stocked. Lots of space overall and the adults loved the hot tub. The only recommendation I would add is to for the owners to leave specific directions to the cabin. We got their text with general directions and pictures but all the parties in our group had a hard time finding it. Overall, fantastic experience! Thanks for letting us stay here!

  • We spent 2 nights at Happy Trails Family Hideout Cabin. Our group consisted of 13 adults and one 6 month old baby boy. It was the second leg of our 5 day 4 night annual Spring Training trip. This leg of the trip we visited Zion NP. It was only approximately 40 minutes to the entry of the park. The location of the cabin on Elk Ridge Estates was very picturesque. The snow on the ground made for an even more astonishing setting. The bedrooms in the cabin were all a good size. The master suite was amazing. We raffled off that room amongst the group!! The property was very well maintained and clean. Phil and Joleen were excellent hosts. I was extremely impressed with their communication leading up to the rental dates. I received a personal text from them a week prior to the stay with detailed pertinent information that made our stay that much more enjoyable. Our group already started thinking about coming back and spending more time there next year.

Welcome to our luxurious new Lodge in Duck Creek Village, Utah. The Lodge consists of six different themed units. This unit is our deer themed unit called "DEER TRACKS." Enjoy all the comforts of modern architecture tastefully highlighted with local rustic wood accents. Relax on Premium Egyptian Cotton bedding and luxurious pillow top queen size mattresses, in one of the three bedrooms the other two bedrooms have Cal-kings. The master has it's own bath, while the other two rooms share Jack and Jill bathrooms. There is a fourth bathroom for guests. Make use of the well appointed modern kitchen for entertaining lots of company. This unit sleeps 14 comfortably. There is 3 bedrooms in total in this unit and 4 bathrooms and 1 sleeping loft. Enjoy the view from the extensive windows facing to the south, overlooking Duck Creek Meadow, across from the Village itself. Or walk around the 1600 ft deck that completely surrounds every floor. We regularly count upwards of 50 deer coming into the meadow at dusk, and recently have been entertained by a family of foxes that hunts and plays in the meadow. You can almost always see a few Red Tail Hawks and Falcons cruising over the meadow, swooping down occasionally to pull a fish out of the creek, or some tasty morsel from the grassy meadow. Watch for the extremely social marmots that sun themselves on the rocks below. When you decide you want to stretch your legs a bit, take a walk down into the meadow itself, and see where Duck Creek disappears into sink holes on the east edge of the meadow...not to be seen again for 13 miles...where it flows into the Sevier River...Check with Mike our on site owner/operator, he will point you in the right direction. You also may be able to arrange for him to take you on a guided tour of some of the areas lesser known wonders...summer or winter! ATVs such as dirt bikes, quads, and side X sides or snowmobiles, he can get you there. An added Bonus is that the roads to our Lodge are maintained year round. It's absolutely wonderful to spend any day including the holidays here at the Lodge. The community celebrates with live music, BBQ and whatever else they can come up with during the different holiday seasons. If you have never experienced Duck Creek Days, You are missing out on an incredible time.. Its a Carnival in the Meadow with lots of different Arts, Crafts and food booths and the Famous Duck Creek Village Annual Chili Cook Off!! We love that our neighborhood is a quaint mountain village surrounded by the Dixie National Forest. There is wildlife everywhere from Deer prancing around to American Bald Eagles soaring in the sky. There so may fishing lakes everywhere and we are surrounded by several National parks. Also last but not least this area is world famous for its extensive trail system for off road vehicles. All spring and summer you can travel everywhere by side X sides and OHV and ATV vehicles. In the winter it is a mecca for snowmobile riding!
  • We loved Mike's cabin. It is very nice and comfortable. We had a great family get together.

  • We had a small family reunion at the lodge. The area is beautiful and the condo is really nice. Mike is a great hands on host and the condo had everything we needed. We were able to rent OHV vehicles directly from him, so that was a plus. We were about an hour from Zion and it was nice to come back to 85 degrees when it was 109 at Zion. We would stay there again and I recommend it!

  • The Lodge was great for our family reunion group which included a baby, Tweens, teens, adults, and grandparents. The kids got a kick out of the loft - the kids from Mexico said it was "muy padre." In the summer, I'm sure the deck is awesome. It was about 45 min drive to Bryce and to Zion. Great place to relax & enjoy nature! Mike responded promptly to any questions we had.

  • This place is really nice for trips. The host was really considerable that every kind of kitchen utensils were prepared. The room is really warm if you turn the heater on. I love this place

  • The place is as described by the pictures. It is spacious, and warm. Everyone in my party of six was impressed. It is also one unit of six in a large building. One other unit was occupied while we were there. The other party could be heard, but when we arrived they retreated indoors. I do wonder what this place is like when it is fully occupied. Also, the back rooms were very quiet. The bedroom towards the kitchen received a lot of the noise from our late night antics. Also the upper floor was too warm for two of us who were sleeping up there, while down stairs was cold for some.

  • Our visit to Duck Creek was Awesome. Mike was very kind and welcoming. The Cabin was very Clean and Comfortable. It was just as described in the listing. The Town of Duck Creek is very Charming. The Four Wheeling in the area is Amazing. We will be coming back again !!!
