The Cwtch, a modern compact studio apartment in a converted outbuilding set in the grounds of a secluded property close to the Rising Sun Inn approximately 1.5 miles from Haverfordwest on the A487 to St.Davids, 6 miles to the spectacular Newgale beach and coastal path makes this an ideal stay for walkers.
The building is yours for the duration, just relax and enjoy the local area. The kitchenette has a kettle, microwave, a two ring hot plate, fridge and washing machine. There is a lovely pub open down the road if you don't fancy cooking. Tea, coffee, milk and toiletries are provided. Wifi is available.
This is a really relaxing area just off the main road to St Davids and 5 minutes outside Haverfordwest it is very peaceful and quiet. Six miles from the coast and a great central location from which to explore the Pembrokeshire National Park.
  • Another great stay while working in the area, great location close to town and just a short drive to the beach, lovely cosy accommodation

  • Lovely to return to the Cwtch. Great location for exploring Pembrokeshire and a lovely and cosy hide away from the Welsh weather.

  • The Cwtch is a wonderful little retreat! A perfect size for two people. The space was spotless and there were plenty of amenities for cooking, washing etc. Coming back to the Cwtch after cold days of walking and swimming was lovely. Glyn was very friendly and happy to answer any queries we had. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cosy base to explore the beautiful Pembroke coast. Thank you Glyn and Jill!

    Edward2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed one night here and it is faultless! Easy check-in, Glyn was very nice and friendly and explained everything we needed to know! The off-street parking was awesome to have, and the place itself is like a studio apartment separate from the main house, very warm and insulated! The heart wall is adorable :) the place has everything you could want! Since Glyn and jill had nobody arriving the day we left, we were told we could leave whenever - we had a lovely relaxed morning and are very grateful for their flexibility! Would definitely recommend this place!

  • The fact that this is the third time I have gone for a long weekend here should speak for itself. It is a lovely self contained apartment and (for me) is just perfect for getting away from everyday life four a weekend. The dramatic coast is justa few minutes driva away and penty of ameneties in the local town which is just a mile away.

  • What else to say that hasn't already been said in all of the other 5* reviews? We had a wonderful weekend relaxing and unwinding, even in the rain this place is still magical. As another review said, if you're thinking about booking here, just do it!

    Henry2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re after a stunning, secluded location, yet close to amenities, an increasingly space full of character and are inspiring decor and views.... look no further!! We could have moved in and wished we could have stayed far longer. We hope to visit again in summertime. Watching the sun go down in the hot tub was certainly a highlight I’d like to repeat!

    Mariza2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • This property is amazing. No detail is forgotten about and the whole place is stunning. The photos show the property off well, bit don’t do it justice! We stayed during a pretty stormy weekend and the weather actually made the weekend better - the underfloor heating is lovely, the living area is stunning and the light and airy upstairs bedroom has wonderful views, whether the sun is shining or the rain and wind beating down (the feature window!). The owners have kitted this place out so there is nothing you want for, the retro record player was a brilliant touch (along with an excellent and “varied” record collection), as is the coffee machine. Obviously though, the hot tub is the main “extra”, being based in a very cool hut with sliding barn doors so you can enjoy wide views outside whilst being out of the elements if the weather is harsh (as it was when we were there!). It’s amazing to sit sheltered in the hut (with the cool retro decor) whilst the elements do their thing. Would fully recommend this property and we can’t wait to go back in warmer months to enjoy the outdoor spaces (BBQ area, seating deck and lawns).

  • Stayed here with my wife and 1 year old child. Would give it 6 stars if I could, absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend to any couples on their own or with a small child as the under floor heating and cleanliness makes it great for them to crawl around on. The itinerary was great and Emma gave us some ideas for things to do, just think beaches, small towns, coffee shops, pub lunches etc. A must book if you haven’t already stayed here, breathtaking views and you genuinely feel like you’re ’off the grid’ in your own little world.

  • We had a very enjoyable experience at Carren Bach. We wanted somewhere to unwind and escape our busy lives. Emma was a super host made us feel very welcome and very helpful. The place is beautiful and very cosy.

  • We loved our stay at Carren Bach Cottage, which kept us warm and cosy throughout the storm! The rooms were beautiful and the amenities - especially the kitchen - were fantastic. Heated floor was a lovely touch, as was the record player, and we loved the style and decor too - it's clear lots of thought has gone into making Carren Bach a wonderful place to stay.

    Victoria2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a lovely 3 days at Carren Bach. Emma was in contact before we visited making sure we had all the information we might need. Carren Bach was the perfect accommodation, beautifully decorated. We made regular use of the hot tub and record player. We are already planning when we can visit again!

    Kirstie2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Carren Bach. Particularly enjoyed sitting in the hot tub on a rainy January afternoon looking out at the fileds and hills!

Rogeston is situated in a secluded rural location on a quiet country lane just three miles from the sea and the National Park yet only five miles from the supermarkets and amenities of Haverfordwest. Druidstone, Nolton , Broadhaven and Newgale are our nearest beaches. Being more or less mid way along the Pembrokeshire coast, Rogeston is ideally located for exploring all of the county with its beautiful beaches and attractions for all ages including highlights such as the picturesque seaside town of Tenby and the tiny city of St Davids with its stunning cathedral. There are numerous options for walkers including the spectacular coastal path which runs the length of the Pembrokeshire coast. Woodlands , mountains and estuary rivers provide alternative scenery for walking or cycling. In the spring and summer months a wildlife spotting boat trip to one of the islands is a must. For eating and drinking we are lucky to have the famously quirky Druidstone Hotel with its relaxed and welcoming bar and restaurant ( look out for the regular 'Feast' nights ) only an 8 minute drive or a 45 minute walk from the cottage. The sea view from the garden and restaurant is glorious - the perfect place to watch the sun go down or for a winter lunch. Despite the region's attractions traffic jams are few and far between. Beaches are never overcrowded even in the summer months making Pembrokeshire an ideal destination for a seaside holiday without the crowds. Information leaflets and recommendations are available in the cottage.
  • Highly recommended for a short break. Perfectly situated for Pembrokeshire coast and walks and a lovely bolt hole from the world. Kay has done a fantastic job kitting out and the master bedroom in particular is really comfy. The woodburner is a central part of the experience if cold too! Clean, welcoming and easy to find.

    Tim2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the world. We were visiting during Storm Ciara but felt completely protected against the elements, especially with the unlimited firewood for the woodburner! Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts, and helpful communication when storm was forecast to meet our trip :)

  • My husband and I (and our dogs) stayed at the Stables for 10 nights over Christmas and New Year. It was so cosy and the perfect retreat to really unwind - as well as being close to some stunning beaches and great places to hike. The kitchen was really well stocked and we were able to comfortably cook Christmas dinner. The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. Kay’s communication from enquiry to booking and throughout our stay was very good and any questions we had were always answered very quickly. Thank you Kay for a great stay - we hope to come back in the future.

    Becca2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • A very quiet, calm and cosy place to spend a week - for me in the middle of winter but still enough sunny days for long walks with the dog and to explore the bay. The place has so many nice touches, and great communication from Kay. Would very much recommend.

    Sara2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second time to The Stables and it remained true to our memories. Cosy, comfortable and stylish in a location that is not too far from anywhere worth visiting. The log burner was an absolute delight and essential for warming up the place especially during more cold snaps. We had all we needed to cook some delicious meals in and our houndy, Wellington, loved his first time in Pembrokeshire. Thank you Kay and Charlie got a wonderful stay. We look forward to coming back once bump is born!

A stunning conversion of a 1,000 year old building by the architect owners who have carefully preserved the character of this medieval treasure whilst creating a generous contemporary home with all the comforts and facilities for modern day living.
Walking around the house you are constantly leaping back and forth across millennia… Beneath the fine old Victorian roof is a spacious and comfortable double-height living area focused upon the elegant Stuv woodburner by night, and countryside views through the 15th Century windows by day… Beyond the Romanesque font are the clean lines of a generous dining area overlooked by a modern kitchen specifically designed to include the old oak altar… And overlooking the main entertaining spaces is a mezzanine gallery with two small (4' double) sofa beds and two workstations, leading to two small bedrooms (4'6" double beds here) in the eaves with fantastic views over the Preseli Hills… And if that wasn't enough there is the boutique hotel bathroom allowing you to daydream in the bath looking out through a medieval window!
High Haven sits in good size simple lawn garden - it is in the original churchyard with some gravestones - and because of its raised position at the head of the valley it has outstanding views of the surrounding countryside to the Preseli Hills. This is a fantastic location for exploring the wonderful West Pembrokeshire coastline and its beautiful beaches and coves – only 3.5 miles to the nearest beaches at Nolton Haven and Druidstone Haven for horse riding along the beach, and another few minutes to the charming fishing village of Little Haven and the dramatic expanses of Newgale famous for surfing and land yachting. Our favourites are Settlands beach which you can only reach at low tide from Little Haven (very Famous Five!), and 5 miles to the spectacular Marloes Sands (Guardian 'Searching for the Perfect Beach'). It is located adjacent to a working farm run by very neighbourly John brothers and within the tiny hamlet of Lambston just outside the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and in the countryside between Haverfordwest and the coast which are both 3.5 miles away.
  • High Haven is a beautiful, relaxing and stylish space. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here and felt very at home. The living space is wonderful, and the kids particularly enjoyed their mezzanine bedrooms/play areas where they could have their own space but still feel connected to us. Bathrooms and kitchens are high spec and well equipped. Bedrooms are very small but we found them to be snug, especially during Storm Dennis when we could hear the wind and rain lashing down on us! We had a private chef cook for us on our last night, Andrea from Chefs on the Run - highly recommended, delicious food in vast quantities and great value. The weather did not deter us from enjoying blustery beach walks at Broadhaven, Newgale and Nolton Haven, and a day out in St David's. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

    Victoria2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • High Haven is an absolutely wonderful conversion. Sympathetic, tasteful and practical. It was absolutely perfect for the three of us and the dog. We thoroughly enjoyed returning to the impressively improved chapel after days out walking. Well equipped and warm at all times. Perfect for a winters break with long walks on quiet beaches and the coastal path. Great communication and check in. Thanks all for a superb visit.

    Matt2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Chapel is absolutely beautiful. Location really handy for exploring Pembrokeshire. We had awful weather, but stayed lovely and cosy with the log burner on and played board games for hours. The cows are quite noisy, but got use to it after the first night.

  • It was wonderful, the church is a dream, also in terms of decor. The kitchen was well equipped, the cooking was as much fun as at home. We felt so comfortable that we enjoyed every hour there. Thank you, we'll be back!

    Kathrin2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable stay and such a cool, historic place! The church has been restored beautifully and everything was great and as described in the listing. Finding it was a bit difficult at night - I've now added the listing to Google Maps to hopefully make it easier to find: https://goo.gl/maps/iQDDrUVoYy89EsRX8

  • We had a lovely relaxing stay at Cowslip Corner, the view is beautiful and property set in a very tranquil and peaceful area. Jan was an absolutely wonderful host and very kind (we had car trouble so arrived very late, she messaged to check up on us etc) plus the breakfast left in the kitchen was superb! Communication was brilliant and Jan sent clear directions a few times, no problem finding the property at all, even in the dark. The room is very beautiful & spacious with everything you could need, from plates to coffee plunger, hairdryer to iron, note pad to toaster, lots of books and a huge local guide folder. There is a small utility/kitchen area, and a fridge where the delicious jam and cold items are left and a sink so you can wash up. Fantastic Airbnb, a much needed short rest, will hopefully stay again soon, can't recommend highly enough. Thanks again!

  • Set in an attractive group of former farm buildings, the cottage was peaceful and cosy with its little woodburner, despite the whistling storm outside. Well located for pubs and places to visit, it made a very pleasant out of season get away for us.

Very thoughtful of the owner. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Attention to detail fantastic. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

  • We booked this on the spur of the moment as we wanted to continue our coast walk. The cottage was part of a group set in a row originally a cow shed Nicely converted into various size cottages. Our cottage was very cosy, ideal for 2. with a comfortable bed upstairs on a mezzanine level. Small but adequate kitchen and a cosy sitting area with wood burner and TV with DVD's on hand. Plus Excellent WiFi. Within about half hour walk from Little Haven but prooved a bit far to walk on a cold dark January night.... Especially after walking all day. All in all... Great stay, Good price. will visit again.

  • Stylish and airy place with absolutely beautiful views from the lounge room and backyard! My group enjoyed our stay with self checkin and a welcome of welsh cakes and wine! Fabulous Hosts who have great style and thoughtful details in the house. Great location for coastal walks and a good homebase for South Wales exploration. 10/10 would stay again!

  • We had a wonderful family weekend at Jennifer's cottage. It was clean, comfortable and had a lovely sea view. We walked (15 mins) to the Druidstone for a coffee and sheltered from the rain. Would definitely stay again!

  • We had a very warm and cosy stay, despite storm Denis raging outside! The cottage was well equipped and stylish. The layout worked brilliantly for our family and was very accessible for our older relatives. The cottage was spotless, the beds were very comfy and we really appreciated the welcome pack from Jen. We’ll be back!

Buzzard is a cosy cottage for two. It comprises of a kitchen area with fridge, oven, hob, granite work tops and a Belfast sink. Then into dining lounge area with TV and wood burner. Round the corner is a shower room with basin and WC. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom with sloping ceilings and beams. Your dog is welcome as long as they stay off the soft furnishings and you clean up after them outside,we charge £3 per night per dog. The pub is about 25 minutes away on foot.
As the crow flies we are a mile away from the sea, there are lots of lovely beaches close by many where dogs are welcome.
As previously mentioned the pubs are down in Little Haven it is possible to walk down but you are partly on the road and coastal path. A torch would be useful at night to warn people you are there. There are 3 pubs, The Castle a gastro pub where you can take your dog. The St Brides is a more traditional pub offering a good and varied menu but not allowing dogs. The Swan is our favourite, beams and wood burners welcome you and Sunday lunch is always wonderful. Dogs are only allowed in the bar. There is also a holiday camp you pass on the way to the Cottages which is open to non residents for food and drinks.
  • We have stayed at this beautiful haven before and we are now officially hooked. The magical atmosphere of these cottages is just so perfect for restful weekends/weeks away. We live such busy, hectic lives that when we stop and go away we need everything that Bev and Paul offer. You will go once and it will exceed everything you expect and you will return time and time again. Pure magic ❤❤

  • What a special little spot. The views from this cottage are just magical. The house has everything you'd ever need and was cosy and warm, with the help of the electric heaters provided. We'll definitely be back, even in January. If in the area, try Mrs Will the Fish in Solva, she does a splendid lobster and crab platter to take away. Many thanks, Tom and Tanya.

  • The caravan is in a great location and Cynthia and Geoff are really friendly hosts. It was good to have a choice of winter and summer tog duvets which made for a comfortable stay. Kitchen amenities were great, it had everything we needed. We ate in 2 out of 3 nights. We walked to watch the sunset over druidston haven which was beautiful. It’s also so lovely that both the beach and the hotel are close by so we hardly had to use the car. The caravan is clean and comfortable and we hope to stay again in the future.

  • Cynthia was a fantastic host, the caravan is in a great spot with only a 15min amble to a very nice pub and beach and extra leaflets about what to do in the area appeared outside our door one day. We were lucky enough to be able to procure some tasty lettuce from the organic garden and firewood for the beach. We would love to stay again.

Ideally situated on the edge of the town of Haverfordwest, in the centre of Pembrokeshire. Within just a few minutes walk is a large park area and a family pub. A large Tesco Extra is within a 2 minute drive. Within a 10 minute drive are the sandy beaches of Broad Haven and Little Haven, and access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
  • We stayed at Ty Venda for a week recently whilst visiting family nearby. The accommodation surpassed our expectations, being a real home from home! The property was spotlessly clean and a personal request on the furniture front was met with full cooperation which made our stay all the more comfortable. We will certainly have no hesitation in booking with Peter again, he was a great host who replied to any enquiries promptly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

  • What a wonderful place!! View was outstanding. The cottage was very clean and had a proper cot for the baby (much better than a travel cot). His sleep was completely undisturbed because he had a proper place to go down at naptime and for the night. Lovely little kitchen with all the amenities so that I could cook a nice dinner for us all. 10/10. We will be back soon.

  • I arrived at Thrift Cottage late in the evening in the dark which meant I was relying heavily on the directions. I needn't have worried - they were perfect, and Teresa was even outside waiting for me to turn up! The hospitality continued, with a courtesy knock on the door the following evening. The cottage included everything I needed plus a lovely welcome basket of tea and welshcakes, with milk in the fridge. The location is perfect, literally 200m from the beach, with a view of the beach and coastline, and the coastal path within easy access. I had a wonderful couple of days and left feeling restored.

  • I had an absolutely wonderful time, starting with a warm welcome from the moment I arrived. The cottage was wonderful, really cosy and comfortable and had everything I could need. The location is amazing- literally just off the beach (with private access to the beach!) and the beautiful coastal path, and with breathtaking views. David and Theresa are model air b and b hosts - warm, friendly and clear with all the information provided. I wish I could live here!

  • I am a tad reluctant to leave a review for this idyllic haven just in case anyone pinches any time I may wish to rebook. Nestling between large sandy beaches is this little treasure. It truly is a haven in every sense of the word; an inlet providing shelter for boats and also a place of safety, refuge, sanctuary and retreat. We arrived as wizened grey creatures and left this morning completely re-juvenated even if somewhat depressed at the thought of what next week brings. The hosts are delightful and nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is perfect. My bed was adjacent to the window so when I opened the curtains in the morning the first thing I saw was the sea. What more could anyone ask. We were enchanted by this area of Wales and still can’t get over The Bitches.

The cottage is a tasteful renovation of a traditional stone building. Original features combine with all mod cons for a spacious and luxurious home for family or friends to enjoy. Enjoy a 15 minute walk to the beach, sea views and sunsets. Sleeps 6. We offer a 3 night minimum outside of school holidays. Week long bookings are preferred during school holidays.
The Old Granary is a beautifully renovated stone building which combines traditional features with clean modernity. The cottage is on a single level so is suitable for young and old alike. There is a step up to the front door and steps from the slate terrace down to grassy garden which overlooks the sea. The terrace is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy the stunning sunsets. There is underfloor heating throughout and a wood burner so the cottage is also the ideal location for a cosy winter retreat.
The Old Granary cottage is on Shortlands Farm within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, an area of unparalleled scenery and landscape. It has uninterrupted sea views over St Brides Bay and is a short stroll from the stunning beach of Druidston Haven and the Pembrokeshire coast path.
  • Trust us to choose the to travel and stay with Storm Dennis in full throng! Despite the weather we had a lovely stay and can't fault Kate's wonderful cottage, all provisions, communication and attention to detail. And the perfect location to explore the delights of the Pembrokeshire coast. Loved it. As did the kids. Will def return.

  • Beautiful spot views were amazing. Near to the Druidstone hotel (pub) great food. Love this place and it was cozy comfy. Good beds. Toasty and warm in the winter. 15 mins walk to beach. We will be back

  • This is a fantastic place to stay - I’d thoroughly recommend it to others. It’s within 5mins walk (along footpath) of Druidstone Hotel and beach. Stylishly and thoughtfully furnished it was perfect for our family of five (including three big teenagers) plus dog. Kate was quick to respond to all queries etc and was a great host. We’ll be back!!

    James2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time here, spending four nights in September. The ocean view and coziness of the place were wonderful. I hope to visit again soon. Great hosts, very kind and super responsive.

  • Awesome cottage. Spotless and well equipped. Spectacular views and sunsets. Everything we needed. Close to beaches and a great restaurant/pub (Druidstone hotel) great hosts in Kate & Luke. Many thanks Steve, Dee & Barney

  • A perfect location and wonderful hosts. Spectacular views. Everything you could possibly wish for from a self-catering cottage. A wonderful break away from the city.

    Wendy2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • What a fabulous place to end our trip. Kate really is a super host. The old granary is just perfect. Kitted out with everything you need, it is incredibly comfortable, Cosy and stylish with the most magnificent views and hiking trails. It is Walking distance through the most charming bridle path to a great bar/restaurant/country hotel for home cooked meals and a local beer. Kate left books for our two girls who quickly became best friends with her children. Sure sign of the friendless of this family. Thank you Kate and Luke. If this place is available - book it!

My home is close to the town centre in Haverfordwest, prefect base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast as central to everywhere. A bus stop is 1 minute away from the front door and train station a 10 minute walk A light spacious newly renovated home. A double bedroom with garden view comfy bed, large TV with Netflix & WIFI. Breakfast items are provided and full use of kitchen :) happy to share the whole house and garden with you. You can access the property any time day or night with key:)
Guests are welcome to use the whole house. Full use of kitchen and utensils, as well as a patio area with table and chairs and well maintained garden to enjoy and relax in.
Set in Haverfordwest a corner shop is 30 seconds away, local pub with good reasonably priced food is a 2 minute walk and Tesco 5 minute walk so plenty of resources to hand which a lot of Pembrokeshire can lack due to the remoteness.
  • My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and it was one of our best AirBnB experiences. The host Chloe and her partner Matthew are very sweet and helpful. They also have a very cute dog Macy who we loved to hang out with! :D The bathroom and room were very clean and they also had a well stocked clean kitchen for our use. Highly recommend!

Guillemot Cottage was built from the ground up in 2015, part of our new complex over looking the sea. Inside is a modern 3 bedroom cottage with an large sized kitchen, along with a open planned living and dining room. There is one downstairs shower room and a bathroom upstairs. At just 50m from the beach at Nolton Haven Puffin Cottage is ideal those looking for a family holiday or perfect for walkers looking to explore the coastal path. We are just over 50m from the local pub/ restaurant.
Guillemot Cottage sleeps up to six people. A double bed can be found in the master bedroom along with the back bedroom leading onto the enclosed terrace garden. The final bedroom is a twin room. It has off street parking for multiple cars in our large private carpark. Puffin Cottage is pet friendly with free WiFi throughout.
With Nolton Haven’s central location it makes us the ideal choice for a beach strolls and to take the opportunity to sample many of the water sports on offer locally. Our onsite office enables you to make enquiries and book many of the boat trips, surfing courses, paddle boarding, beach horse riding or even sample coasteering in the areas that it was first introduced!
  • Josh's place was great. Lot's of room & a beautiful location. We didn't get to meet Josh but everything was clear & swiftly handled. The place was clean and had a great, equipped kitchen.

    Kathlien2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • A great cottage set just up from the beach. Nice coastal walks either side and pub right out front! Comfy house with pretty much everything you need.

    Dave2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! We loved the setting, the view of the haven and bay, and the privacy. Guillemot is well-equipped, quiet, private and very comfortable. The help 24 hours on hand was reassuring and very friendly. We took our dog, who loved it! Being January, the Brasseries was closed, but the Mariners was open for drinks, and other pubs/restaurants around were open, and we got a Tesco delivery on arrival, which was really helpful. Beautiful beach, slightly scary cliff path (I have vertigo) but all-in-all we'll definitely be back!

    Richard2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for getting away from it all and exploring the sensational Pembrokeshire coast. Quality accommodation, spotlessly clean with good amenities.

    Paul2020-01-12T00:00:00Z

    Sarah2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic little cottage in an incredible location. We loved our stay here, and are already planning weeks to come back next year. Although the cottage is beautiful, the welcome is warm, and the views incredible, make sure to bring your own tea/coffee so you can relax after the long drive to get there. Also would have been nice to have hand soap in the bathrooms and more than half a roll of toilet paper in both bathrooms - or for this to be stated in the listing. But these are little touches that didn’t ruin our stay in the slightest. We’ll definitely be back!!

    Max2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely weekend stay here. The scenery is beautiful, so close to the beach. Which is clean and great for walks and searching for shells. The cottage was clean and had everything you need while away from home. We would highly recommend a stay here.

    Eira2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage in a small terrace of 4, owners on hand in the office, everything you could want is provided and spotlessly clean, wonderful shower and heating system which we needed for our stay 1st week in October great base for Solva, Broad Haven Haverfordwest, Little Haven and of course Nolton Haven is a lovely sheltered sandy beach and the cottage has wonderful views of the sea. The local stable did horse riding on the beach and people were surfing, swimming and kayaking. Some wonderful walks for the dog. A local place to eat was the cafe in Hilton Gardens which did lovely soup and sandwiches, great for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea we also went round the gardens which are lovely but you don't have to pay to just use the cafe a real gem, oh and the dog was allowed in too! A lovely place to stay anytime of the year. Much nicer than the usual dog welcome cottages as you felt the dog was definitely welcome and accommodated rather than being second class guests. well done Jim. Josh and family

Light and airy apartment right opposite broad haven beach which can be viewed via the lounge window and the small balcony. The living area is open plan with lounge and kitchen. Sitting area sits 5 with the sofa being a sofa bed. The Tv is a smart TV which has Netflix and amazon. Kitchen has fridge, washing machine, cooker and seats 4 around the island. Main bedroom has a king size bed with the second bedroom having 2 single beds with a additional pull out bed if required.
  • The space itself is fairly average but it’s the location that really sells it. In the morning you can look out on the beach whilst having a coffee and in the evening you can catch the most breathtaking of sunsets. Niki was a great host; clear instructions, quick responses and easy check in process.

    Gil2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Niki's place was spacious, very clean and stylish. The most amazing thing is however the location. It's 20 metres away from the beach with an amazing view from the living room. There is a pub and restaurant downstairs and a shop just 50 metres away. The nights are quiet, you will not hear any noise from the pub. All in all I highly recommend Niki's place

The chalet was very well equipped, to make the stay a real pleasure. The welcome pack that Julia left for us was a nice touch, even milk in the fridge for a nice cup of tea on arrival. The location of the chalet was excellent, with Haverfordwest close by. We also found the location of the chalet fairly central, with good access to both North and South Pembrokeshire, with their amazing beaches and castles. Julia had left plenty of information back at the chalet for places to visit. All in all a really great break away.

The barn conversion was very well equipped, we cooked the whole week and it had everything we needed! The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with a short drive to the beach or to town.

  • Amazing cottage. Perfect base to explore Pembrokeshire. The cottage was warm and cosy as well as being super clean. The bed was sooo comfy, the whole space was lovely. Having a full kitchen meant we could cook a nice warm meal after being out all day. Would highly recommend East Hook Cottage to anyone wanting to stay in Pembrokeshire if you are looking for a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing place.

  • A wonderful stay. We were extremely lucky with the weather so were able to have lovely walks along the coast and spend a fantastic day on Broad Haven’s beach. The cottage itself is beautiful! Very clean and homely. All the amenities were available and we couldn’t ask for more. The location is very accessible to the town and the beach. Jen was a great host and on hand when needed. We had a wonderful couple of days and hope to go back soon.

Refurbished in 2018, The Mill House has lots of character with exposed stone walls, slate and oak floors. It is a light and airy two bedroom house with an open plan kitchen, living, dining room with a log burner. There is one shower room and an en-suite bathroom/laundry room. The Mill House also has a patio, terrace and a hot tub. Situated in the breathtaking Pembrokeshire National Park, it is a stones throw from the beach and coastal path. There is also a pub and restaurant a few steps away.
50 meters from the beach, this private upside-down cottage sleeps up to four people in two spacious rooms. One king size bed in the master bedroom and the other bedroom can be adapted to guest preference with either a double or twin beds. DOWNSTAIRS The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the ground floor. All have underfloor heating, either slate or wood floors and Velux windows with solar powered black out blinds and/or windows with beautifully crafted plantation style shutters. THE BARN - The light and airy master bedroom was previously used as a barn, now it contains a luxurious king-size bed and plenty of space to hang your clothes. There is also a mezzanine, where the mill workers once slept, which is now a cosy hideaway with comfy beanbag chairs where you can stargaze under the eaves, read a book or have a fierce game of UNO. An adjoining door from the main room takes you through to The Store, which previously held food supplies but now functions as an ensuite. There is a bath with shower attachment and laundry facilities including a washer drier, airers, iron and ironing board. THE GRANARY- The second bedroom is where the mill mechanism which once ground the corn for the mill was housed. This spacious room can be adapted to guest preference with either a double or twin beds. The quirky separate wet room echoes the circular shape of a millstone and features a rainfall shower. UPSTAIRS This open plan A-frame upstairs room has lots of character, with an exposed stone wall separating it from the barn room. It contains a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and espresso machine. The dining and living area has a roomy table and comfy seats around the log burner. OUTSIDE SPACES There is an outside door from The Store which leads you to the hot tub. Here guests have star gazed, devoured books in the sun, marveled at fiery sunsets and even enjoyed the bubbling hot tub in a shower of rain. The living area double doors lead out onto the enclosed terrace which has a table and chairs for alfresco dining or just enjoying your morning coffee while listening to the waves. There is also a charcoal BBQ (seasonal) and steps down towards the beach. EXTRA INFO Free off street parking for multiple cars. Smoke free, pet and family friendly with free wifi throughout. Each bedroom contains towels, beach towels and hairdryers. Hand towels and tea towels are also provided along with washing up essentials, soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We wish to support this and would appreciate it if you can help us by recycling as much as possible in the clearly labelled bins provided. Where we can we provide locally sourced products: - The wood provided for the log burners are locally and sustainably sourced from Celtic Timber. - Welcome treats are as locally sourced as possible.
Nolton Haven is a small hamlet next to the beach on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The beach is dog friendly year round, clean, shallow and has lifeguards everyday during the summer school holidays. It is surrounded by two headlands which can provide shelter from the wind, or the promise of small caves to explore. There is a stream to dam or paddle in, rock pools to hunt for crabs and sea anemones. Enough space for paddle boarders, kayaks, canoes and swimmers. There is a pub and a restaurant (booking advised) next door. Roch and Broadhaven only a short distance away both have local shops with basic essentials. Nolton Haven is also situated close to Haverfordwest for grocery shopping, and its central location makes it a good base for other attractions.
  • This place is amazing. Everything we needed was provided and we spent 3 cosy days and nights here even though the wind was gusting over 60mph outside! We can’t wait to go back.

    Pamela2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house, stunning location, and the extra touches (breakfast bits and bobs) were all so thoughtful. Absolutely perfect for a cosy few days away!

    Ellen2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend. We were blown away by how amazing The Mill House was. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into every detail, from the lighting down to the utensils (I especially loved that there was a vegetable steamer!). The house was so cosy, especially with the fire lit, and the hot tub was lovely. The location was beautiful and very peaceful. We both believe we could not have chosen a better place to stay and will definitely be back if we are able!

    Zoe2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Mill House is a really special place to stay. It's a beautifully designed house with excellent facilities and a lovely location in a quiet (in early January) cove. But it's the thoughtfulness that stands out - fresh flowers, food to get the weekend started, and everything you could possibly need from bathrobes, to hairdryers in each bedroom, to a bluetooth speaker, to sharp knives. Thank you Ruth and Nick!

    Eliane2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous house, that looks even better in person inside and out. Brilliant location, just moments from a beautiful beach. House was absolutely spotless & lots of little touches to help make our stay (and the dogs) as comfortable as we could have been over Christmas.

    Alice2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Nolton haven Mill! This place is beautiful, photos do not do this place justice! Perfect little touches around the house such as a welcome pack, fire starter pack, toiletries, Robes, decorations for Christmas, doggy welcome pack and entertainment such as Netflix on the Television in each room. The hot tub was amazing and situated on a private road. This place is right next to a pub - dog friendly, unfortunately the restaurant next door is beautiful however, not dog friendly. Beautiful beach on your doorstep with easy access to the coastal path walks leading to other lovely villages. Local town with shops around 10 minutes in a car. The perfect break with everything you need, we will be back. Thank you.

    Libby2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Mill House is the perfect stay, Ruth provided everything we could possibly need, the house was amazing, the location was great, even the lanes surrounding the hamlet were easy to drive along. We can’t wait to come back again!

  • Such a gorgeous little cottage nuzzled away in the Welsh countryside. Very very pleased we picked Anna's accomodation. Communication and check in was a breeze. Beautiful interior and decor, clean, comfortable and fab little extra touches. Highly recommend a visit! Thanks Anna and family!

    Rebecca2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • It’s difficult to know where to start with this place because there’s a lot to compliment and everyone else has written it already, but this AirBnb is about as perfect as you’ll find. Tonnes of local information, impossibly clean (truly impossible - I don’t understand how it hadn’t been fitted out with brand new furniture the day before). The hosts are friendly, accommodating and their passion for Pembrokeshire is demonstrated in the amount of effort placed in the lever arch book of local information and tonnes of local trinkets you’ll spot around the property. It’s lovely, it’s out of the way (as is most of West Wales) and no photo’s will do it justice. You’ll need to see for yourself. We went horse riding on the beach with Nolton Stables and had a spa afternoon at Wolfscastle Country Hotel and it was all in all a perfect weekend. Thank you so much to Anna & Co for being so accommodating and making my girlfriends birthday one to remember!

  • Everything about Gwyneth's pace is as described - central to Pembrokeshire, cosy and Gwyneth is a delightful host.

  • Gwyneth is a fabulous host. She has a gift of making you feel welcomed, and is so very helpful with local information as to where to go. Which I used to my advantage and had a wonderful time exploring the area! I definitely would recommend staying here. She is on the outer edge of town which makes it easy to go places, plus it is very quiet and peaceful. Just what the doctor ordered for R & R.

  • Great host amazing property

    Matt2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gwyneth was a great host, making us feel at ease from the outset. She chatted with us as if we had known her for years. Everything was as expected, the location suited us really well for a night out. We enjoyed the cereal and tea in the morning. Shower was lovely and hot. Parked the car directly outside. The house and area was peaceful. This was just what we needed for our visit. We would certainly recommend Gwyneth’s house.

    Del2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay with Gwyneth exceeded our expectations. Not only is she very kind and friendly person but she absolutely made sure we were provided with lots of local tips for bad and good weather and even supplied us with few homemade scones and pastries. We have learned quite a lot about local people, their habits and culture. Her place is sparkling clean and the bedroom was comfortable, spacious, warm and as dark as can be at night... I would highly recommend her place to anyone visiting Pembrokeshire. The location is easy to find, parking is always available and all parts of the coastal national park are accessible by car within 30-45 min drive.

  • A really kind and thoughtful stay, staying with Gwyneth made travelling to different areas of the Pembrokeshire coast very easy, and was a real haven to come back to at the end of the day.
