  • David and his amazing family really thought of everything. They greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed while we were there. All the little touches on with the space made it very comfortable. You can literately just show up and start enjoying the space and exploring their land. Wonderful location and an awesome place to stay with kids. Our kids were disappointed when it was time to leave.

  • Great place to stay to relax, unwind, breath in the cool clean mountain air. There was one point where I think we were in a cloud? You're very high up, you only see other peaks! The camping life was pretty glamorous here, you have everything you need including three seating areas, extra bins and cooler in case you need them, silverware, plates, etc. Just bring yourself, your clothes, and some food and you're all set! Plenty of electric outlets to charge your electronics, and a great little trail behind the place that really helps you explore the property. We had a very good time, would recommend!

  • Don't underestimate the power of a weekend away in exquisite surrounds! It was impossible to not be utterly relaxed in this beautiful place. Loved the popup camper, waking up and looking out into the woods from bed. It did get chilly at night, but we expected that and packed clothing accordingly. Very well equipped for someone looking to live simply and functionally in pristine surrounds. Another highlight was strolling through the woods in PJ's with coffee. Best morning walk ever! We also took our telescope and saw Mars, Jupiter+3 moons, and Saturn with its stunning rings! A true escape.

  • Nice getaway!

    Kathy2018-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • This was the easiest camping trip I've ever had and the low stress on mom made for great family time in the great outdoors. The attention to small details like coffee, ice, solar shower with toiletries, and dish buckets made the trip extra smooth. The location is convenient for other local recreational activities, but our family enjoyed the peaceful getaway so much we never left the property.

  • David and Miki went above and beyond to help us find our way to their pop-up camper site. We had been driving all day and arrived much later than anticipated. It was dark, and our GPS was sending us in circles. David and Miki met us in town, and led us to their place. We weren't able to explore due to our time constraints, which was a shame. It was just lovely. There were five acres for guests to roam. Ample outdoor seating areas. Even a solar shower that would have been perfect after a day outdoors. They really thought of everything for guests to have a wonderful stay.

    Jessica2018-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend! The drive to the property includes a gorgeous drive through Pikes National Forest. We arrived to a warm welcome from David and his family and immediately felt at home. The campsite they had set up was absolutely amazing! If you enjoy a leisurely camping experience, this is exactly what you want. David’s property was 14 acres, but he made sure to give us privacy in our own 5 acres. We were able to explore the many interesting sights to see in the spanning pines of the property. Overall, this experience was well worth it and I truly recommend it.

    Cameron2018-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • David and Miki were the BEST hosts... you can't find nicer people! Their pop-up camper site was exactly what I was looking for; a quiet, private spot to sit outside and unplug from life, as well as to introduce my 4 year old son to the world of camping. They were so thoughtful and even left some toys out for my son to play with (he was in heaven!). The property was beautiful and fun to explore, not to mention all the places to explore in the surrounding areas (11 mile canyon was gorgeous). I am already excited to go back, and I would highly recommend David and Miki's place if you are looking for a camping trip that is already all set up for you, you just bring your clothes and food! And it's true about the other reviews, the coffee they provide is outstanding!!

  • Emily's camper was just what I needed for a quiet solo weekend getaway. Amazing how such a little space can hold so many amenities! Everything was just right::: super clean, cozy, fully stocked. Thank you so much, Emily!

  • This little camper has everything you need to have an amazing time in Colorado. It is right where you want to be if you want to experience all the area has to offer. The camper was clean and had everything you could need and more. I would come back if I ever need to stay in the area again. The host was very helpful and very prompt with answering questions. Thanks again for helping me in my quest to conquer the Manitou Incline!

  • Great place for a fun getaway to Old Colorado City. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our time at this AirBNB. A/C was plenty cold and camper was cozy and great.

    Ben2018-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great experience staying at the camper. It had all the facilities you would need and the location is great too. Would highly recommend this !

    Ana2018-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny camper was perfect for our stay! It had everything we needed and at the perfect location. Everything was in walking distance and the neighborhood had that old time charm. Emily gave us all the privacy needed and even worked with us to accommodate the check in time, which was a stress reliever since our flights were delayed. The only thing I would suggest is maybe putting up a sign guiding guests to the tiny camper. The camper is on property, but it is actually behind the house in a separate entrance in an alley way. Highly recommend this place!

    Rochelle2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great small space for one or two! The host is lovely and answered all our questions. The location is great and the bed is comfy! Showering is a bit hard in the tiny space, but possible! We would stay again!

We have a 2016 Salem Forest River 26ft bunk house camper. We bought it brand new and used for a short time and now it just sits there. I'd like to have some use out of it so we are inviting good people to visit and enjoy. Comfortable queen bed. Leather sofa turns into bed. Twin size top bunk and full bottom bunk. Full usable kitchen. A/C & Heat is great. Trampoline for kids. Bathroom is small and if you stayed in a camper before, you know hot water runs out fast in most so shower quickly.
Private spot in Southern Colorado Springs. Whatever your needs are, we are here for you. **TEMPORARY STATUS**We were hit hard by hail recently and the air conditioner was broken on the camper. I'm going through the insurance process to see if the camper will go to repairs, or if I will get a new camper. So if you reserve from now until October, there will be no air conditioner. I have put a good house fan in there though that does ok according to the last couple guests who had to deal with that. It gets down to around 50 degrees at night right now, so it's only an issue if it's hot in the middle of the day. And there are 7 windows to open also. But if this is not ok for you, I totally understand, just want to give a heads up before any more guests book until I can handle this matter. Thank You***
It is a nice neighborhood. We have the train that runs in back of the house. It doesn't bother us or 98% of the guests that have stayed with us, but a few guests have complained about hearing the train or the traffic occasionally on our street. So if you are used to rivers, streams, and country sounds, that is not what you will get here. You will hear typical City sounds. Fort Carson is close also, so you will hear their trumpets at specific times of the day. These sounds aren't a big deal to us as we have grown up here, and it doesn't bother 98% of the guests, but just want to make everyone aware of our surroundings because I'm tired of getting a 3&4 star ratings on Location because they are surprised to hear city sounds in the middle of the city and this brings down our overall rating. We work hard to provide a nice, comfortable stay for our guests and I cannot control the train and traffic activity. We have great private neighbors. We have 24hr recorded outside security surveillance so you will feel protected. Safe and hidden parking in back. If you have specific questions about our area or if this area would be comfortable for you to stay, just ask me.
  • Clean, super cozy, great people on the great walk of life.

    Jen2018-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I stayed here while visiting the area. Nice private, secure parking, quiet neighborhood, and conviently located close the highway. It's about a 15 min Uber ride to Manitou Springs for great dinning and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend if you're in town for a night or two.

    Scott2018-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • I loved the location! Very near to shopping, dining, parks etc. The hosts were super friendly and had a trampoline for our kids, along with a nice big back yard for the dog to walk around and play catch. Beds were comfy and rv was spacious. Nice space all around we were very cozy and happy.

    Caitlin2018-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tina was an excellent host, great communication and a very welcoming family. Nice and clean with a comfy bed!

    Matthew2017-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • The camper was amazingly comfortable and had everything we could needed. (Toiletries, towels, WiFi, an extremely comfortable bed and soft pillows) The location is very convenient to hiking areas, parks, and ponds. (We went to Pike’s Peak, Garden of the Gods & Fountain Lake) Lastly, the sunrises & sunsets from the backyard are beautiful. We had a great time and the hosts were very friendly and helpful!

    Tori2017-11-26T00:00:00Z

  • What a great idea of renting your pop-up camper and the location is awesome. Perfect stop in our Colorado trip this summer!

    Percy2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jerrod and Jordan were terrific hosts! Their property was exactly as advertised! The only thing not listed was how delightful they were as hosts. When the fire ban lifted they were the first to suggest a lovely nighttime fire and their late night pizza snack to accompany our star gazing of the Meteor shower was a fun surprise! I recommend this property and these hosts and look forward to another stay in the Fall.

    Stephanie2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • I had fun here!

    Elizabeth2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Off the grid a bit, nice and private. Loved it.

    Robert2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at here with my two kids, ages 12 and 14. It was our first time in a camper so that was really fun. It slept the 3 of us comfortably. Jerrod was great with communication and local tips.

    Jill2018-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jerrod was very communicative and generous. The camper was inviting and warm on the rainy night we arrived. The cassette player and tapes were definitely my favorite touch to the stay. We will certainly stay here again when in the areas! If you want a quiet, scenic and hospitable stay, definitely stay here! Thank you again Jerrod!

    Todd2018-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jerrod has an awesome and comfortable camper. Despite it snowing lightly over the evening, the camper stayed warm. Jerrod provided extra heaters and blankets, which ended up not being too necessary even with the cold temperatures. The camper is located in a secluded area amongst some private property, and so is pretty accessible even with light rain/snow (just some dirt roads with shallow grading). Once you're on the lot, you feel off in your own little spot! Cool hiking and campground sites nearby. Divide and Woodland Park are a short and fun drive away, if you need to get more supplies or dinner.

You are walking distance to the hip Ivywild school, which includes brewpubs, whiskey bar and great food eateries. There is a Safeway one block from the house off Cheyenne Road towards Nevada Street.
  • Stephanie's Shasta was as accommodating as it is cute. My wife and I enjoyed our time here!

    Randy2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Me, my boyfriend and my small dog stayed in the Shasta for 3 nights. Loved the personal touches and the decor. The couch converts to the bed but we kept it as a bed the entire time (handy for our day naps after early hiking or sunrise adventures). Not sure if the banana bread was homemade or not but it was SO good, as was the coffee, yogurt, granola and berries! As tent campers we really enjoyed glamping. I actually thought when booking that the composting toilet was separate outside somewhere but what a pleasant surprise to have it in the camper (and not have to worry about layering up in the early AM to make the trek outdoors). We regret that we didn't take advantage of the fire pit in the backyard, one of the reasons we wanted to stay there, but weather and our busy schedule got in the way. The weather was a bit chilly at night during our stay but Stephanie gave us a down comforter and there was a good space heater inside as well, so we were fine. Loved that we could have our little furry buddy with us in this space; Colorado Springs is super dog friendly (check out Pub Dog, where you can bring your dog in the pub with you, we went a few times!). We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend you book this space if it's available!

    Samantha2018-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie and her mom, Carol, were amazing. my wife and i brought our 10 year old dog. he is too old to go places and they gracially let him out randomly throughout the day to potty and play in their gorgeous backyard!

    Jordaine2018-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • LOVED our stay in Stephanie’s cozy camper! Clean and so wonderfully decorated! Steph and her mom, Carol were always available and absolutely delightful. So enjoyed the private outdoor space ... perfect for a fire and some drinks at the end of the day. Awesome location for hiking, exploring, shopping, restaurants, and night life. It’s “roughing it” a bit with no shower, but it fit our adventure-full weekend perfectly! Sponge baths, baby wipes and dry shampoo did the trick! We will stay again!

    Tina2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! Location is perfect for enjoying Colorado Springs! The backyard is beautiful and perfect for sitting outside! Loved our stay, would highly recommend.

    Britany2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • The Shasta was clean and the perfect size for one person or a couple. I was house hunting for my move to the Springs, and Stephanie was a wealth of information. I enjoyed relaxing in her yard and in the Shasta. Thank you, Stephanie!

    Nichole2018-07-07T00:00:00Z

  • 5* hosts, couldn't wish for better. Loved their little smallholding and the animals were very friendly.

    Katie2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • You want to stay here! Without a doubt one of the best places I have been to and felt at home! Amy and James not the average hosts, they are outstanding! You’ll love it if you love the outdoors!

    Ariane2018-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, friendly, simply put Easily the best service we have ever had. If you want a unique experience for a very affordable price you will not beat James and Amy.

    Jason2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • James and Amy were such wonderful hosts! They showed us around the RV so we knew what to expect, and how to operate it sustainably. They offered snacks, meals that we could cook, and even fresh eggs from their farm! We will definitely be coming back here next year for a “staycation”. The experience couldn’t get better than theirs. Thank you to the lovely family!

    Samantha2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and James went above and beyond to ensure our stay at their place was wonderful! They made sure that we were comfortable and cozy in their space and provided so many extras! The added extra touches made us feel special (they make all of their guests feel this way)! The RV itself was wonderful and the animals surrounding the space were adorable (especially the dogs & the pigs)! We also really enjoyed the fire pit, s'mores and conversation--thank you so much--hope to make it back some day!

    Lisa2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place! The kids LOVED all the animals. We had a great time getting to know this awesome family.

    Lynn2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • James, Amy, and their children are amazing, caring and detailed hosts. This was an amazing experience, none of us can just pick a favorite experience. From the horses to the chickens, being greeted by the dogs and pigs every day to the feeling of being at home with family. My family and I will definitely be returning to the "Winston" to visit with friends. S'mores by the fire pit, sharing stories and getting to know each other made it all sad as we backed out of the driveway. It was not just a place to stay, it was the feeling that we where leaving lifetime friends.

    Joseline2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • My expectations for our stay in James and Amy’s RV were low. I knew my son would be thrilled to stay in an RV and it was convenient to where we planned to travel, but I did not think it would be one of the highlights of our trip to Colorado! The RV was sparkling clean and stocked with drinks and snacks. James toured us through the farm, full of sweet, friendly animals, and showed my kids how to feed them and milk Ruby the goat! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were happy. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, James and Amy!! We will be back!

  • Liliana and her husband warmly welcomed us on their beautiful land. They were very hospitable and the place was very quiet and private. I Highly recommend this place for a little quick get-a-way!

    Rocky2017-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Both Lilli and Wendell were gracious and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to be sure we were comfortable and happy with our accommodations. The property is very quiet and peaceful. You are guaranteed to see lots of wildlife. We would definitely go back again.

    Britt2016-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lili and Wendell provide a clean and comfortable opportunity to relax in a quiet country atmosphere. We enjoyed the deer calmly walking through the yard and the private fire pit and grill.

    Steve2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice RV!! The inside looks just like the pictures. The bed was suprisingly comfortable. All amenities were available. I did wish the camper was more secluded. I didn't know the host lived on the grounds. Also, I didn't understand why I was only allowed one guest. There was plenty of room for three of us. It was my fault for not reading the rules which probably stated the restrictions and the fact that they lived on site. Loved the father in law though! Very nice man! Overall, it was a good place and if it wasn't for the daily hail storms ruining a lot of the scenery, I'm sure I would have enjoyed my stay much more.

    Teri2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Oh my, a little bit of heaven in this quiet, secluded property minutes from the commercial center of Woodland Park, where you'll find any needed amenities. In addition to the owners' beautiful home, there are several rental accommodations in this little mountain notch. We stayed in the 40-foot motor coach -- cozy, comfy, perfect for two. Extremely comfortable queen bed. Good internet access. Our private area outside included a table with two chairs, fire pit and lounge chair. The natural setting was great for birdwatching. Communications with the hosts were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our little mountain retreat.

  • It is exactly as described. The bed was wonderful. The coach was very clean and well stocked for a relaxing get away. They were very quick to respond with anything we needed. Perfect secluded location while still being close to Woodland Park and sites.

  • The camper and ranch was everything we were expecting and more. After a long 16 hr drive we arrived and Liliana showed us everything in the RV and how things worked- there was more ready and available things than we expected, we hardly had to buy anything to cook with, just the basic groceries, we were able to season our carne asada with what was available in the kitchen and throw it on the grill which is next to the RV along with a fenced in firepit and patio area. Wendell and Liliana helped up get the grill going when we couldnt figure it out. They were incredibly helpful yet it felt like we had all acres to ourselves. It is exactly as they described it "romantic" perfect for two! The land was more beautiful than pictured with two ponds on property as well as lots of wildlife, we had groundhog and doe visit us a few times. The bed is INCREDIBLY comfortable and we had the best sleep after our long drive. We were able to enjoy the best of what colorado has to offer right on property, wildlife, mountain and water views, a great walk. Lilliana and Wendell were sweet enough to leave us a bottle of wine that we enjoyed upon arrival. Liliana had a list made for us of things to do in Colorado and when we asked about restaurants (*foodie alert) she went and wrote us up a list. We have nothing but gratitude for the two of them as the visit was perfect and our only regret is not staying longer as we were only there for two days. I would come back to their ranch without hesitation next time i visit colorado. Thank you two so much!

Welcome Campers! This unique urban glamping experience has everything you need to come visit Colorado Springs and all it has to offer! Enjoy the mountain views, indoor fireplace, bunk beds, full kitchen, full bathroom, and master bedroom with a private entrance. There is a gas grill, chairs, hammock, fire pit, mini-fridge, and ice maker outside. TV has access to DTV over the Air, Netflix, Hulu, HBONow, and Amazon Prime. It can also be moved outside to enjoy while you sit in the hot tub.
Guests can access the camper from the vehicle gate on the west side of the house. Feel free to set up and use the area around the camper to enjoy the experience.
  • Tim and his wonderful wife were fantastics hosts! Tim was always quick to respond to any questions and concerns and made us feel at home from the time we arrived to the time we left. The camper was very welcoming with extra touches like magazines and snacks - so very thoughtful! Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. They provided information about places of interest and local events that might interest our big family. We chose this venue to determine whether or not we wanted to purchase a camper and do more traveling with our adult children and grandchildren. The whole family was in agreement that we want to pursue that dream after staying in Tim's beautiful camper. We enjoyed evenings of relaxing under the blue lights and took advantage of the hot tub and hammock a few nights. The ducks and chickens kept us company and we even had a bunny come visit us each morning. I would stay here again in a heartbeat....but next time, I might leave everyone at home but the grandkids! lol! Thank you again, Tim, for sharing your home away from home with us. It was a pleasure to stay with you.

  • Over all camper suited our needs and was what it said it was! Chris was very friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed and even had chairs set up outside for us to use. That being said it is a camper so as long as you realize what a camper consist of when booking this should work fine but if you want some super clean nice cozy place this isn't it for you. my only real complaint was it would have been nice to know before hand their was no hot water. That made showering vary tough and uncomfortable. All in all while sleeping in a camper in someones driveway is not my top pick I would book again if we needed a cheaper option or if in a pinch.

    Jessica2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lived the place Chris is great. Very accomadating. Heather ( who also lives at the house) even made pumpkin muffins one night and they offered us some. Hands down the best pumpkin muffins I've ever had. Super helpful and willing to work with us. But we still maintained our privacy we originally booked for a week and then added another so both weeks were great. And if you need to so laundry spring clean just around the corner has great machines, brand new.

You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, privacy. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). We have a fire-pit for campfires... but please stay aware of strong winds and County/State issued burn-bans and refrain from campfires then.
The camper sits above 10,000 feet in elevation and is in a clearing made for the camper and vehicle access. Outstanding views are nearby but the camper location is in a heavy thicket of trees. We are not interested in long-term leases.
We are about 10 minutes north of Cripple Creek and 25 minutes south of Divide, Colorado. We are just off the Western flanks of Pikes Peak and it's adjoining southern ridges and mountains. Also, we are adjacent to Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine... so some noise comes from mining operations.
  • Great experience! Very friendly and accommodating! If you need a breath taking view away from it all...this is the place!! We completely enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again!

Feels like you're in the hilly wilderness yet 10 minutes to Monument, 20 minutes to Colorado Springs, 15 minutes to Castle Rock, 10 minutes to the Larkspur Renaissance Festival 30 minutes to Lone Tree and an hour and a half for skiing! Many open space hiking and riding trails within minutes. You're going to love it so get packed!
  • Beautiful location with views of various buttes and of Pike's Peak. Located close to Larkspur with quick access to I-25 (about 5 minutes drive). It is a little remote, so expect cell phone service to be very spotty. Land is very beautiful though. The camper is packed with plenty of amenities and has a fully functional kitchen, which we used. We did have one little snafu when my mom was using the hair dryer and caused a breaker to trip. My mom is a home inspector so she knows a lot about breakers, but she still called the house phone to speak with Mark's wife. Their son actually answered the phone and was very helpful and eventually the breaker was found and reset. No AC in the camper, so just be wary if you visit in summer months that it can get quite hot in the afternoons, but it does cool down significantly at night, so windows can be opened to let cool air inside. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

  • We had a great 10 day stay in the camper, it was everything we hoped for and more. The hosts where very helpful and gave us our privacy. The view from the camper is the best, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. I would absolutely stay here again.

  • My kids and I rented the RV for 2 days and it was just perfect. It's in a gorgeous location that was convenient to the places we wanted to visit around Colorado Springs. Mark's family was wonderful and my kids really enjoyed meeting the outdoor cats and dog. Thank you for a great visit!

  • A great host who was very courteous and accommodating. The camper is located at a nice location in Black Forest with plenty to do and see!

    Miguel2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • I had an enjoyable stay with Julie and David. They had great recommendations for things to do in Colorado Springs. The camper was cozy and roomy enough for myself. The bed was comfy and there were cooking supplies for me to make myself breakfast or dinner. Julie and David are a nice couple and they offered their help, but they also wanted me to have my own personal space, so I appreciated that.

    Matthew2016-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Julie's camper is awesome!! It sits in a beautiful location, with a beautiful view!! We actually never met Julie because of our schedule, and how much we were in and out, BUT she was always available by phone when we needed her. The camper was comfortable, clean, and very easy to use! I don't think (Hidden by Airbnb) maps has gotten the location quite up to date, so when you get on the dirt road, we took the road BEFORE (Hidden by Airbnb) maps told us to turn and that lead us right to their driveway. I can't recommend this place enough, even for an extended stay, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! It was my first AirBNB trip, and it did not disappoint!

    Juan2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Julie was very welcoming and responsive with directions when we had a bit of trouble finding the place. Trailer was cozy and clean and had everything you could need. We would definitely stay again if visiting the Colorado Springs area!

    Jade2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Julie and David were wonderful hosts. The camper is very clean and in very good shape. It is set up so you have your own private "porch" area. Easy driving distance to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, and other areas of interest. I highly recommend staying with Julie and David.

    Sheila2016-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Julie and David were amazing hosts! We could not have asked for a better experience as first time Airbnb users. The camper was exactly what we were expecting. Julie made herself available to us from the very beginning. She was extremely helpful with any questions we had and offered great advice on local things to see and do while we were there. They made our honeymoon all the more enjoyable with their generosity and honest interest in making our stay with as comfortable as possible.

    Shelly2016-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Julie's camper was a great way to spend part of the summer relaxing in beautiful Colorado. The camper had all the necessary amenities--Julie brought in bottled drinking water each day, checked all the tanks and settings regularly, and the plumbing worked fine. The shower was better than a lot of two star European hotels I've stayed at! There was an impressive assortment of birds visiting the camper bird feeder, deer came by each night at sunset, and there is a nice outdoor table and chairs to enjoy it all. The whole area burned down a few years ago, so it is also fascinating to see how the landscape is coming back to life. The bed was comfortable and adjustable firmness, and the hot pot and burners allowed for many cooking options. As far as camping goes, I would call this "glamping", glamorous camping.

  • First off their description really doesn't do justice. Let me tell you what your really getting. An extremely quite beautiful safe neighborhood, at the end of the cul-de-sac which provided alot of privacy without cars coming up and down. An extremely self sufficient running RV that is truly like a mini apartment. Special labeled out parking space just for you. Two different kinds of coffee maker (we brought our own coffee for the old fashion coffee maker - NOT KERIG) they have items just like the hotels (shampoos, coffee, a little water, plenty of towels wash rags, There was a little bit of basic seasonings for cooking. If your wondering about not suitable for 2 yr old I would agree. I made sure my 8yr was not always running behind me when cooking. I would not have felt too comfortable with my 2 yr old grand child just too close for comfort. I brought my 8 yr old and he was pretty good. He's constantly jumping and trying to run....that's what boys do. The RV moves when he jumps or moved fast....expected. The RV is fine - perfect for 2 adults (parents) and their 2 kids. Host was great they put up the air bed for us and gave an extra requested item. (THANK YOU) We left the air mattress up the entire time since it was just for our son.....and it was still roomy in our opinion. And there was plenty of drawer space PLENTY. Everything is compact but my husband is a big guy and it was still very doable. It was really enjoyable….we watch Tiny House hunters and have talked about getting one….well we on board for a RV in future! If we come back I may book for me and my son and nephew. We just loved it!

  • This RV is very well equipped and just like a studio apartment. Awe greeted us and provided a thorough orientation of the RV's features. The space was comfortable for the 2 of us, but might be a little tight for a group of 4 adults. We stayed 3 nights and would have stayed longer but the place was booked by someone else. We've already booked another weekend at the RV.

    Patsy2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • They were welcoming and so very accommodating! All of our questions were answered promptly and information that was provided was thorough and accurate. Camper was beautiful and included everything we needed. Highly recommend Haliimaile!

  • They were extremely nice and professional. They both met me when I arrived and exhibited a warm and friendly exterior. The neighborhood was beautiful and there was ample parking. The unit was very clean and more than I expected. My privacy was respected at all times and they were very quick to solve any problems that arose. This was a fantastic experience and I look forward to staying with them again and I would highly recommend this listing.

Beautiful second home that we thought why not share. Our experience with air bnb in our home has gone so well we will let it help pay for our second home as well. The price is a little more than a stay in the house. For that you are given access to the main house with all privileges and the rv is yours to yourself. The views are breathtaking and there is a double Pillowtop hammock feet from your door. A coffee pot and coffee are ready for your without leaving the rv in the morning or anytime!
Beautiful RV. King memory foam mattress. Xfinity cable, Netflix, roku, Wi-Fi. Fridge, microwave, kitchen with coffee. Feet from your door a double Pillowtop hammock. The deck has a bbq for use. In the house you have access to a better kitchen for cooking in. Several common areas. Pool table, ping pong, foosball and gaming consoles. Too much to list. Close to garden of the gods Manitou springs and more. Smoking allowed outside.
Garden of the gods, pikes peak, Manitou springs, old Colorado city, Red Rock Open Space, and mt Cheyenne can be seen from the house and are very close ( the peak takes a while to conquer). Downtown Colorado Springs is between 10/15 away.
  • What a magnificent place to book and hosts to go with it!! A couple of 1st experiences here. My girlfriend and I were looking for a good weekend getaway in Colorado Springs. Both of us not wanting the usual hotel flow, decided we would look for Airbnb options if there were any available. I came across a room for a night’s stay in one of Budd and Van’s homes that had a wonderful view of the mountains to look out from. Not realizing at first when I booked I was supposed to be looking for 2 nights instead of 1 (whoops), the wonderful hosts worked with me to add the 2nd night stay in our itinerary with them. We decided upon further viewing of booking options we would be the first to rent out their beautifully placed RV in their backyard. The house was still made available to us although the newly available RV had all the amenities you could ask for. The RV selection was a great choice! The home is gorgeous as it is but can’t beat an RV with surrounding eye candy views in complete privacy! The second 1st experience came when we were notified of our hosts’ newly available rental options for 2 brand new scooters to get around and explore the city on! No doubt the right choice was made taking advantage of those scooters. So many things we wanted to accomplish done in a fraction of the time. I’d say they are the best way to go for sightseeing, over a car that could get stuck in traffic or by foot which we all know can bleed the day. We enjoyed their use so much, I’d consider renting a pair out again if available when we go on future escapes in any city! Training and safety guidelines were provided to us prior to venturing off . Being the 1st to rent out Budd and Van’s RV AND their brand-new scooters, I was very pleased and impressed with how smoothly they prepped for their guests’ needs to be met!! I would definitely rent with them again down the line if I find myself back in Colorado Springs. The views, spacious breathing room, cleanliness and HOSPITALITY these hosts’ provide make their Airbnb options top priorities for an enjoyable stress-free stay!!!

  • This is an amazing place to get away and relax. The RV is deceptively spacious and incredibly cozy. With full amenities, it’s a wonderful place in any weather. The area is so peaceful with beautiful mountain views and great access to trails and parks. Jason is a great host and was so welcoming; going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

  • Jason is the BEST host. His camper and lot are immaculate. He is so helpful and considerate. The area is quiet and beautiful! We loved our stay!

  • This airbnb literally could not get any better and Jason was a wonderful host. Don't be afraid that it's not your "typical" airbnb house, we slept SO well and it had everything a house would plus a gorgeous view. It was in a beautiful neighborhood, quiet and scenic but also conveniently located near some fun restaurants. Make sure to get your grub on before 9 or 10pm though or you'll be eating at Sonics or having a beer for dinner. All in all, we had a great time and will definitely be back!

    Tina2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jason is a very kind, warm, friendly and welcoming Host!! He gave thorough, quick replies ahead of my visit and provided even more information about places nearby within the space. The RV is spotless and outfitted well for rentals. It’s also super cute!!! Good location close to 285 in a quiet neighborhood. Nice & comfy and value priced too!!

The brand new 2018 Jayco travel trailer sits on 5 beautiful treed acres with a view of Pikes Peak. It is 28 ft. long and is completely self contained with bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and areas to sleep. It is nicely decorated with smoke decor. Interior ceiling height is 81 inches. Can easily sleep 4-6 individuals. Camper comes complete with all the amenities and a continental breakfast. The deck can be used by guests to grill and eat.
The beautiful new travel trailer is very comfortable and sits in front of our house ( south side) by the large deck on 5 acres east of Monument, CO. The trailer is fully equipped with electricity, water, propane, heat and air conditioning. It has a 32 inch TV with DVD player. The sport court is to the north and includes a basketball hoop, full volleyball court, pickle ball and short court tennis. The deck includes a BBQ grill and fire pit, and will seat several people.

  • We LOVED our weekend stay with Sally! She was a wonderful host. The camper was so cute, quaint, cozy, and just perfect for our family weekend getaway. The camper smelled like fresh brewed cinnamon tea, the linens on the bed were so comfy and cozy, and the extra touches to the continental breakfast were amazing! My girls loved the personal size cups of their favorite cereals. The location was just breath taking and the tennis/basketball/badminton court was a fun way to relax after our long car ride to the location. There are beautiful birds on the property and the foliage is equally as stunning. Sally was amazing at communications for anything that we needed and also gave us some tips on some of the local places to visit while in the area. I highly recommend staying here. It is a great place for a family of 4-5 to enjoy a camping experience that is better than any hotel stay we've ever had. Thank you Sally for an amazing weekend stay!

  • Great host. Super responsive and thoughtful. You can have as much or little interaction as you would like. Had refrigerator stocked with milk, juice, butter. There were bananas and cereal. Definitely will stay here again.

  • Lovely camper! Sally provided us with all the basics and then some! Everything was clean and we were provided with breakfast items and toiletries. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was my first time staying in a camper and I would absolutely book again! Thank you!

The fifth wheel is 5 miles from Hwy 50 and hwy 67. It is 10 miles from Canon City and Florence. We are on 36 acres with a great mountain views. Close to the Royal Gorge Bridge... hiking, rafting, fishing, bike riding, horse back trails, antiques and arts, new Dinosaur Museum, etc. You supply you're own food. Hot water tank holds 5 gallons which is a quick shower so we tell our guests the Guest Bathroom in our home is for your private use. Bedding and towels are available.
Beautiful Location. My husband and I live on the premises as well as my mother and one Australian Shepherd and several cats The animals are friendly but the puppy is a puppy. He is learning
At the end of our road is a wilderness study area. A state wilderness stamp is required. There is a beautiful creek and hiking trails. We are close to the Royal Gorge with its new amphitheater (great concert), and a new Dinosaur Museum with interactive dinosaurs. We know the area geology and history. There is so much to see and do in the area. Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Salida and Westcliff. You will often see wildlife!
  • We spent a wonderful weekend in the trailer. Donelle, Jerry, Ruth and their sweet pup Artemis were so welcoming. The trailer was cozy, clean and stocked with everything you need to cook. The property itself is gorgeous with beautiful views. This place is worth staying at simply for the stars at night. Close to Cañon City and Florence, right by Phantom Canyon Road (super cool) and down the road from some great hiking spots (watch out for rattlesnakes). Also worth checking out the mining town of Victor. We were pretty bummed to leave this gorgeous spot. Great for those just looking to be outside. We absolutely loved it. Thanks Donnie and Jerry! Hope to come see you again soon.

  • Great hosts, comfortable RV in a peaceful and scenic location. Definitely would stay there again. It’s a quick drive to Canon City. We enjoyed being away from the summer crowds in town.

  • Donelle and her husband were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable and informed us on things to do in the area. Being animal lovers, we really enjoyed their dog Artemis and their many cats. The trebuche even though it's not yet working was interesting. If you like quaint out of the way and want to save a few bucks, stay here.

  • We enjoyed our stay in this comfy RV. Two of us came in to ride the great mountain bike trails north of Canon City and this lodging fit perfectly. Quiet, beautiful setting and friendly hosts. Thanks for the hospitality!

  • Great place to relax and see the stars. Donelle went out her way to make sure we were comfortable during our stay.

  • The host canceled this reservation 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • Off the beaten path but close enough to everything that was needed. The quick shower took getting used to but isn't a big deal. Probably only room for two.
