Unique, Off-Grid Cordwood Cabin located on a 46-acre agroforestry farm. Offering a double bed, wood-firebox, propane stove-top, open shelving, LED lights, counter-top water dispenser, and nearby hand-pump well and outhouse. Our permaculture farm includes tiny cabins, a swimming creek, and hiking trails. It is located amidst great views, dreamy hikes, nearby rivers and endless stars! Sojourn is ideal for couples and solo adventurers. You’ll love Sojourn's rustic beauty and natural surroundings! ▪▪▪▪ If your preferred dates are not available for Sojourn Cabin, consider staying in one of our other Eco~cabins. To learn more about our other airbnb, Wizard's Cabin, please visit: https://abnb.me/sv9PJXwR6P
Sojourn is a TINY, Cordwood Cabin that offers ample storage, lovely views and unique amenities within its 200sqft footprint. Due to the off-grid nature of the cabin, there is no running water or electricity provided. We offer fresh pumped well-water for drinking and cooking, rain catchment for dishes and freshening up, and a brisk swimming creek for bathing. The outhouse/ privy is conveniently located near the cabin. A wash tub and dry sinks are also available for your use. The cabin is stocked with the basic essentials: cookware, dishware, utensils, organic teas and spices, local/ organic coffee and turbinado sugar. All~natural bath and bed linens, as well as biodegradable toiletries are also supplied. We aim to offer a comfortable, yet sustainable experience for our guests, therefore, all detergents, cleansers, and products provided are earth~friendly and people kind. It is located on a 46-acre Agroforestry Farm that is nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, within the Skagit & Sauk River Valleys. It is a 20-year permaculture experiment in creating long-term and sustainable food production by using food forest and permaculture principles that incorporate a wide array of perennial edibles from around the world. Our land includes a beautiful riparian forest, river and creeks, and small developed areas.
The town is a small rural town, with little amenities. It is the natural beauty of the area that draws people in... Rivers, Mountains, Stars, Eagles, Elk, etc. The locals are friendly and accustomed to visitors. The farm is located within 1 mile of Rockport State Park and Howard Miller Steelhead Park, the Post Office and a pub. The nearby towns of Concrete and Darrington offer a grocery store, gluten free bakery, restaurants, and a movie house. This area is preferred by those looking to be in nature vs. the city. You will find small animals, birds, native plants and epic views to enjoy. Year-round adventures are to be had... whitewater rafting, hiking, swimming, fishing, Eagle watching, etc. Be advised that the local fire department often sends out a siren for the local volunteers. Please do not be alarmed as this is only to signal the firefighters to assist with a roadway accident, fire or other emergency.
  • This provided a much needed reprieve from city life for a woodsy girl. It was incredibly quiet, cozy, and primitive. The surrounding property supplies much to observe and dip in to (the river, if you’re up for the cold). I really enjoyed my time here to be among the trees.

  • It's a great place to stay! Homey and relaxing. I like to go in winter when the wood burning stove adds to the charm. Just up the road, Rockport Pub is a welcoming place and sometimes they have live music.

    Jonah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay. Such a relaxing way to disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with nature and each other. Thank you!

  • Such a beautifully made space on a truly cool property.

  • Feral Farm offers a very unique experience, unlike many others on this site. The tiny home is very whimsical, and had everything you’d need to feel comfortable. My pup had an amazing time running around too 🐕😊

  • There are no words for how much I loved Sojourn, it was hands down one of my favorite places I've ever stayed! The little cabin was so charming and cute, I didn't want to ever leave. The wood burning stove made the cabin so cozy in the snow/rain. And we loved having a well stocked kitchen with olive oil, utensils, and spices to cook stir fry in. The property as a whole is very enchanting with all kinds of unique structures and dwellings. It was amazing to see the imagination and creativity put into the place. The host was also very friendly, made us feel right at home, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our stay here was nothing short of magical, and we will definitely be back again!

    Heather2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place is very cute, it’s on a sort of compound but off a bit by itself. I had thought it was alone on a large bit of property so it wasn’t as private as I thought it would be but still great. It was nice to unplug and we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfy and we were very warm. The kitchen has a nice set up and the host was kind and made us feel welcome. I would only add that curtains on ALL windows would be nice. I didn’t feel I had as much privacy as I would have liked. There were some people walking near the cabin a few times in the night and that can make one feel a bit nervous when the outhouse has no door. It wasn’t quite as private as I would have preferred but I still give 5 star for an amazing time!

    Deborah2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a treasure! Even though there was still 6"+ of snow on the ground, the cabin was so cozy and warm! Matt was kind enough to walk up the driveway and confirm our car would make it safely to parking. You can tell the cabin is very thoughtfully designed. Even before we sat down to dinner, my partner and I had decided we were coming back. Feral Farm was the perfect weekend away from the city. Book this place! You will not be disappointed.

This a 30 ft diameter Farmstead Yurt ( 700 sq ft) on the edge of the forest. There is a wood stove, a sink, electricity (hot plate, kettle, toaster oven, mini fridge) and plenty of room to spread out. There are 3 five gallon water dispensers for your water. The available berths 'bedrooms' separated by sheets are a single bed with a roll out trundle bed for a second guest, a queen bed and a double bed (incl. bedding), and a couch in front of the fire; pack more in with pads on the floor.
The space is rustic and at the edge of the wild. Think 'camping like a Raja' with a wood stove, bed, couch, table, sink, wood stove and solid cedar floors. The space is rustic and has a comfortable, homey feel. A single extension cord provides electricity; we have a toaster, tea kettle, popcorn maker, mini fridge, and a propane cook stove. Basic kitchen gear is in the kitchen space. The outhouse is a hundred feet away. As of right now there is no shower facility, but we have a wonderful safe & private river spot if you need to cool off!
Our nearest residential neighbor is a half mile away, the nearest bar is 3 miles and the nearest groceries and gas is 5 miles. Verizon and T-mobile are the only cell carriers that work here. The Skagit River (one of the great fishing rivers in the world) is just at the end of our driveway (introduction to our secret fishing/swimming hole included). Going the other direction it is uncut wilderness from your back door 60 miles to the Canadian border. The North Cascades National Park is just up the road and there is plenty of other wilderness besides.
  • Terry's yurt is a perfect cozy getaway in the forest! The yurt is filled with personal touches, and truly has everything you wound need in it. Terry was quick to respond, flexible with our arrival time and had a fire gong for us when we arrived. The heated blankets were a life savor as it did get very cold, ring your warmest clothes! If you are not afraid of no running water, or a male urinal in the yurt and outhouse to walk to, this is your ideal getaway place. Our girls reunion loved it!

    Bethany2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Terry's yurt. It was a unique experience to sleep in a yurt and warm up at the wood burning stove at night, being surrounded by nature and beautiful hiking tracks all around offering amazing views!

    Tessa2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great little getaway near the cascades and Rockport state park. Only complaint was it got quite cold in the yurt but the heated blankets in bed kept us warm while sleeping. Would definitely stay again!

    Claire2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Easily slept 6 people. Stayed here in January so we used the wood furnace (you can buy wood from them for cheap). There also seemed to be a pretty large A/C unit as well if you stay here in the summer. There is a fridge and stove as well as cooking supplies, so bring your own food and you’ve got everything you need. It’s more spacious than it looks. Highly recommend!

  • Great place! This is our second year and we will be back next year!!

    Kate2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place was such a cool little nook in a farm on the edge of the most incredible mountains. Terry is a wealth of cool info and a warm, welcoming guy. Rustic, fun, unique and memorable place to stay.

    Chris2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time at this place! Such a great space and close to the national park.

    Amelia2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Terry’s yurt is a perfect place to stay close to the North Cascades. It can be a little difficult to find in the dark, so pay close attention to the directions that Terry provides in his posting if you’re planning to arrive after sundown. The yurt was clean and there were written instructions in the yurt for need-to-know information. Terry was also very responsive via the app (he wasn’t home while I was staying there) and answered any questions I had. Had a great stay!

This is a small cabin. It has a small but ample bathroom and kitchen. A full size bed on the main floor and a full size sleeping pad in the loft. Even though it s small in size it is very clean and cozy.
If you have ever heard of the tiny house movement this is it. People that love the outdoors love this cabin.
This is a quiet neighborhood. With a modern country store that is known for its first class baked goods, sandwiches, beer and Pizza Night. The Happy Hour at the Freestone Inn is also great. If you want some good music & great beer try The Old School House Brewery in Winthrop. Bikes can be rented in Mazama at the bike shop or store.
  • Awesome little cabin in a great location!

  • Phil and Carol's cabin was ever so sweet and charming! It is very cozy, warm, and had everything I needed there with a small well equipped kitchen, bathroom with view of the trails and skiiers going by, nice bed and loft with additional bed. I appreciated the Wifi and the little speaker/radio. The location was amazing - close to the Mazama store and right on the Nordic trails. The neighborhood was very friendly and had lots of walking space that felt safe. I will definitely be back to this cabin - it was perfect for me.

  • Brian’s place is so clean and nice, we really enjoyed our weekend :)

    Alex2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome cabin, easy access to Mt Baker. It might have been the last community or two before the road started up to the mountain. It’s in a amazing location and I bet there is even more to do in the summer. If you are looking to book for skiing, I didn’t see anything else beyond this and the cabin had a really nice feel about the style and layout. It would be a great place for a campfire in the summer.

    Dustin2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome house, great value, great location.

  • If you're looking for the perfect place to come back to and relax, and just make some awesome memories with your friends and family, look no further, this bnb hits all the right spots and more! My friends and I came here looking to relax after a day of hitting slopes and digging out our car from Mt. Bakers parking lot, on a day that got an easy 8+ inches of snow! After a day like that all I could think about was that lovely hot tub waiting for us. Getting there was easy, the Chair 9 restaurant is hard to miss. I actually love the fact that we had to grab the key from there because it gave us the opportunity to chat up the day with some beer and pizza, how much better can it get? Although we had an issue with the code, Brian was quick to respond and got us situated right away. The bnb was an easy walk across the street. 3 cars fit easily in the driveway. I can not emphasize enough how much we were in awe by the beauty of this bnb! Just the atmosphere of the lights and the big glass windows, and the fireplace, hot tub... everything! It was definitely a getaway from home! One thing I look forward to is seeing this bnb in the summer. Would have definitely loved to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit with some s'mores in-hand. Definitely will be booking more than 1 night next time around.

    Joan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The A-Frame cabin is really well finished with countless small touches that really make it pleasurable. It feels like a home, warm and cozy the moment you walk in the door. Plenty of space for our group of 7 to eat and relax while also having bedroom privacy and multiple bathrooms with showers. The hot tub was clean and got up to 104* while it snowed on us! Enjoy full days on the mountain near the lift with a great pizza spot right next door. I cannot stress how beautiful the view was in the fleeting moments of cloud clarity. This place is a favorite and will create a lasting memory for all!

Enjoy the warm fire from the wood stove during your stay at "The Belle." This place is great for a family getaway with one separate bedroom and a spacious Loft over-looking the living area. It is located only 2 hours from Vancouver and 15 minutes from Hope in the pleasant Sunshine Valley neighbourhood.
The bathroom has been newly renovated. The entire cabin has been freshened up and is ready for a care free relaxing vacation. I would note that there is no cell phone service in the area. Although once connected to the high speed wifi stay connected to the outside world is still possible.
  • We enjoyed so much staying at Joy's cabin. I would like to encourage everybody to spend their vacation at the wonderful, cozy cabin. It is a real place where you can forget about the time and the noisy. The inside fire, the decorations the kitchenette full of everything you need to prepare your own meals, the location which is among the mountains and the pine trees will help you to have one of your wonderful vacations.

Enjoyed the location, close enough to Hope for groceries or restaurants and a quick drive over to Manning Park. Really enjoyed the feel of the place. Would recommend as an excellent getaway to nature in a cozy cabin.

  • We had an amazing time are Lisa's cabin this weekend. The location was perfect for enjoying a weekend at Mt Baker. We also had a very easy time getting the keys, entering and locking up the cabin, and following the instructions for operating the wifi, heat, and appliances. We continually remarked on how we liked the modern updates the cabin had -- newer looking kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace, for example. We'd certainly stay there again.

This cozy modern cabin is in the heart of Mazama at the edge of the Pasayten Wilderness, just 6 miles from the wonderful Mazama store and minutes from hiking and ski trails. Part of the small Lost River community, the cabin is easily accessed just off of Lost River Road. The cabin is close to the road so it is not secluded, but it is the "end of line" for Mazama and the Methow Valley. The road ends just north of the cabin so the area remains fairly quiet.
The well appointed kitchen is the focus of the cabin with stools around the center island for meals. The kitchen opens to a comfortable living room perfect for playing cards or resting and relaxing after a ski or hike. Bedroom 1 is on the main floor and has a queen size bed, closet and spacious dresser with a small private porch off the back door. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower and is on the main floor just off the living room. Bedroom 2 is accessed via an outside staircase with its own private entrance off an outside deck featuring a seating area and wonderful view. There is no WiFi and depending on your phone carrier, you probably won't have cell service at the cabin (but can get it when you're near the Mazama store or in Winthrop). There is a landline at the cabin for emergencies and local calls. The cabin is pet-friendly and welcomes up to 2 dogs per visit.
The Mazama Unplugged Cabin is part of the Lost River Airport Association, a small community located in Lost River - 6 Miles up Lost River Rd from the popular Mazama Store. Mazama is a small, special community in the northern most region of the Methow Valley. It is quite literally the end of the road as it is where Highway 20 closes in the wintertime. It is a small special community of people close to amazing hiking, beautiful rivers, and great skiing.
  • We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Jeremy's place in Mazama! The location can't be beat, and the home was beautiful. It was a perfect place to cook, play games, and unwind after a day of skiing.

    Hannah2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy's place was the perfect home for us for the 4 nights say of our Nordic ski vacation. Wish we came for a week or even longer! The house was excellently equipped in everything we needed, nicely supplied bathroom, as well as kitchen, which was especially important for us as we cooked all of our meals. The house was spacious and filled with light. We loved the fact that there was virtually no cell reception (although one bar at the end of the driveway for T-Mobile), no wifi and no TV. Being truly unplugged felt so good! We enjoyed morning rays of sun in the kitchen and living room, coming up from behind the beautiful mountain right in our view, as we sipped our morning coffee. And what added to the entire experience was beyond excellent communication we had with Jeremy. He attended to our needs immediately (there is a landline phone provided - we just had to remind ourselves how to use it 😉), and was an amazing host. He took such a great care of us! We plan to be back in the near future.

    Sylwia2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy's cabin is a great base in Mazama. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. We cooked a lot of meals and enjoyed hanging out there. Upstairs bedroom provided good privacy and space. Road and driveway were well plowed. Easy access to Mazama, Winthrop, and Hwy 20. Thanks Jeremy!

  • This place is great for spending time with friends in the mountains. Loved the dog-friendly vibes, the puzzles... the kitchen is amazing! cell service if you have Verizon and there's a land-line if you need to call out totally worth it and would come back

A rustic, very clean, comfortable, cozy, pet friendly classic cabin/cottage with a large hot tub, an unique rustic-modern kitchen and main bathroom. Very close to Mt. Baker Ski Resort Area of Mt. Baker, Whatcom County, WA, United States and minutes from Glacier, WA. Convenient located in a gated community of Snowline. This unique Snowline cabin is a great home base for year round activities in the Mount Baker area (aka Koma Kulshan) in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, North Cascades.
This classic Mt. Baker Twin Tree House Cabin 1 is great for families, groups and couples as the community amenities are just steps away. Flex space (kitchen, dining, living and 1 full plus 1/2 bathrooms on main) with four bedroom on upper floor. The kitchen has been completely redesigned (rustic modern) with new quartz counter top and island, new range and dishwasher along with new laminate flooring throughout the main floor. Of course, relax in the large private hot tub that is tested for water balance and thoroughly cleaned after every stay. Large front deck (with a large Douglas Fir tree growing through it) has a BBQ grill for gathering, cooking and relaxing. Total interior space is about 1,150 square feet split evenly between 2 floors so about 575 sq. ft. per floor. While, the cabin can sleep 8 (one double/full size bed in each of the four bedrooms), it may feel crowded if you are used to larger space; therefore, maximum guest is set to 6. If you need to squeeze more in, you must make prior arrangements with host because it may negative impact the experience of your stay and possibly safety. Please keep this in mind if you have a group of more than four. The 18,000 BTU high efficiency super quiet ductless mini-split air conditioner and heat pump to keep the main level comfortable year round by heating and cooling. Yes, an air conditioned cabin in the woods (main level only)! Note that we do not use harsh chemical to clean the cabin - natural products like vinegar and other biodegradable cleaners (Simple Green, ECOS detergent) are used whenever possible. Interesting note: The Mt. Tree House Cabin 1 cabin is featured in Shelter: Cabin Chronicles on Huckberry as The PNW TEAL CABIN (photo by @robstrok - must have caught his eyes!) that received thousands of comment on Huckberry's Face-Book page about the huge tree sticking out of the front porch and its bold teal color (Benjamin Moore Colonial Blue actually). That is why it is called the Tree House 1. Tree House 2 has a tree sticking out of the back porch. This a good old classic A-frame style cabin is constructed of almost entirely with whole Douglas Fir lumber and other wood panelings. It has retained all the nostalgic features of yesteryear combined with modern amenities and comfort features like hot tub, internet, VOIP phone, Netflix, ductless AC heat pump and fully stocked kitchen and bathroom for a safe and relaxing getaway.
Our cabin/cottage/chalet in in the gated community of Snowline. This is a very safe, friendly and family oriented community with great amenities and excellent management. Many vacation cabins, second homes and primary homes are located in this community so while the Tree House Cabin looks and feels like a cabin in the woods, you are not alone and have neighbors close by (e.g. next door, behind and across the road). It is very close to the Mt Baker Ski area. Your home base for relaxation and year round activities in and around Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Mt. Baker Ski Area, Mount Baker Highway, Deming, WA, United States. Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, swimming, fishing, bird watching, river rafting, biking, kayaking, tennis, basketball, pickle ball and much more. The city of Bellingham is only 45 minutes away. Mount Baker, Whatcom County, Washington, United States or Mt. Baker (aka Koma Kulshan) in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is part of the Northern Cascades mountains ranges. It is is also one of the snowiest places in the world. This is close as you can stay to Mt. Baker Ski Area, Artist Point, Mt. Baker Lodge Lakes, Picture Lakes, Mt Baker Ski Area: White Salmon Lodge, Deming, WA, United States. Oh, lets not forget, City of Bellingham and the Canadian boarder is about 30 to 45 minutes away to 3 points of entry via Sumas/Abbotsford, Lynden/Surrey or Blaine/Vancouver. Closest airports are BLI, YXX,SEA and YVR.
  • Surprisingly spacious chalet with great proximity to Mt. Baker Ski Area. Our group of four plus one dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and all agreed that when we return we would book this chalet again!

  • Fun cabin in the woods in a neat cabin village. Great location for Mt Baker.

    Matt2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Ken's cabin. Great location, very clean, well set up place with a good ski vibe. Excellent communication and very clear check in instructions too. It was nice to have four private bedrooms for our group. We also liked the fact that there were two toilets downstairs (one with a shower and one in the laundry room with sink and mirror). There was a very cool spiral staircase to get to the bedrooms which wasn't an issue for our group of skiers, but makes me think this place may not be good for people with mobility issues. Highly recommended for able bodied skiers and snowboarders looking for a great place about as close to Mt. Baker and Chair 9 restaurant as you can get. Thanks Ken!

  • If you like Twilight then this is the place for you! Enjoy a morning coffee on the couch while looking out at the picturesque forest and pretend you’re in Forks. The hot tub was a perfect post-ski amenity, and relaxing by the fire was as great of a way to begin the day as end it.

    Robert2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this cabin! Communication with Brian was very easy and instructions were quite easy to follow. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a great meal for your group which we did for 2/3 nights for our group of 6, chairlift 9 restaurant was also within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was great after two days of skiing. Could not recommend this place enough!

    Jocelyn2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The SnowGlobe cabin was an excellent base for our ski trip. We had planned to ski all three days while we were there but we decided to spend an entire day just relaxing and lounging at the cabin. Everyone in our group commented on the coziness and stylish decor. The hot tub was also a hit! The cabin is situated in a gated community and even though there were other cabins near by, it was really quiet and the presence of all the trees made us feel like we were secluded in the woods. The check-in/out instructions provided by Brian was super easy and he was also quick to answer our questions during our stay. We are already planning on booking the same cabin for next year's trip!

This is an original 1920's small Glacier Cottage. It is tucked away in the forest at the end of the road with only the large lodge next door. The cottage is within three minute walk to town and 25 minute drive to Mt. Baker. The cottage has a king size bed and full size futon. The cottage is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Check out the private hot tub. You can catch the Baker bus from Graham's if you do not want to drive up to Mt. Baker.
This cottage is tucked away in the forest right next to the large lodge, only 3 minute walk to town. You can catch the Baker Bus up to the mountain or drive 25 minutes to the mountain top. This cottage is cozy! Amazing for two guests a little tight for four. Kitchen has all the gadgets to cook about anything. The fridge is nice and big for short or extended stays. We have an electric stove and propane bbq for you to enjoy. The covered porch and rocking chairs are perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain or trails. There is a fire pit and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. We just installed AC for those hot summer days. The ceilings in the bedroom/living room area are low, as this is a very small and historic cottage. The washer and dryer are located on the outside of the cottage in a storage room. This cottage offers a private space not shared like other local condos and your own private hot tub. The cottage is adjacent to the large lodge.
Private next to the Large lodge. Lodge is rented separately and typically has large groups.
  • Cecelia’s cabin was the best place to stay for a short getaway. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day of exploring, and she even left robes and slippers which was amazing! The cabin had all the amenities we needed plus more. Sparkling clean, and overall amazing area. Will be returning!

We love the location. Very quiet surrounded by forest and trails.
  • Great cabin tucked away in the woods. Very comfortable and well equipped. Hosts were friendly and accommodating.

  • This is our third time in your cabins, and our best experience so far. We love the lower cabin, slightly different configuration than the upper one and suited us with the upstairs suite and space for laying out a yoga mat. Gord was very helpful when we couldn't find the hot water switch and gave us some tips for cold weather. Mother Nature totally cooperated and provided a fresh blanket of snow. Originally we thought we'd go to Manning Park to snowshoe but didn't need to leave the property, with trails in either direction and enough food etc for the weekend. We love your peaceful cabin, building fires every day, and a welcome break from the city life. We will be back!

    Claire2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • I believe the best review I could give is: "This is our 4th time in Corinna and Gord's cabin. See you next winter" :)

The Tree-Fort has been newly renovated from top-to-bottom! It's Scandinavian design is for "LIFE at the Cabin". With our guests in mind we chose comfy linens, cheerful decor, fun furniture, a cozy stove, a large hot tub, and a chef friendly kitchen with an outdoor Weber grill. We hope you can enjoy the gated Snowline community, as you stay at Tree-Fort "the closest beds to Baker".
When entering through our bright red door, you will experience the hard dilemma of wanting to stay in or go out. There are "nests" to find & curl up to read in, or kitchen supplies to bake homemade rolls while you enjoy the tree-fort view. But perhaps you might just enjoy soaking in the hot tub or getting cozy by the indoor stove or outdoor fire pit. The queen bed will display the greatest TREE FORT experience, if you choose to leave the curtains open and wake-up to the forest, as this view is private. Our families favorite winter evening time is to bbq dinner, sit in the hot tub or around the fire pit and than play games at the table, or put the sofa into it's "recline position" and enjoy a funny movie from the Wifi menu.
On top of all that the area offers, the premiere gated community of Snowline offers fun festive weekends through the year, a clubhouse for indoor fun, a pool during the summer months, tennis courts, a baseball field, a pickle ball court, basketball courts, volleyball, horse shoes, and a fishing pond. But, maybe you just want to take a stroll down the quite lanes and view the cabins. It is a delima! Come & enjoy and help us solve the best way to spend "LIFE at the Cabin".
  • Matt & Maxine are amazing hosts that exceeded expectations every step of the way. Easy communication and check in. Their cabin is absolutely gorgeous and provided all the amenities to make us feel comfortable. Would highly recommend a stay at the Tree Fort!

    Todd2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect ski cabin about thirty minutes from Mt. Baker. It's a great layout and the beds were very comfy after a day on the mountain.

    Jeremy2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Treehouse is an amazingly perfect getaway from the city. We have spent many weeks here and just love how relaxing and quiet it is. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are extra plush and comfy, the fireplace is perfect after a long day in the mountains, and of course, the hot tub is the cherry on top!

    Amber2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome time at this haven in the woods! ❤️

    Rainey2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

    Amber2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was our 4th stay this winter and The Tree Fort gets better each time. Max and Maxine are absolutely amazing hosts. The cabin is perfect. Literally everything you need! We stayed with friends this time (4 adults) and we had plenty of room to relax and have an absolutely great time! We can't wait to go back in May! And then again next winter. :)

    Adam2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The Tree Fort cabin is so, so beautiful! It makes for the perfect weekend getaway in the mountains. The home is decorated so beautifully, making it feel extra cozy. Cabin is located close to Mt Baker Ski area and plenty of gorgeous mountain adventures off Mt Baker Hwy. Hosts provided lots of information to make check-in super easy and convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming, relaxing weekend.

Cabin in the woods looking at Flagg Mt. and close enough to Goat Creek that you can here it running into the Methow Valley. Only a mile from the Mazama Store and right next to the Methow Trail System.
This cabin is less than 200' from the Community Trail System and the property sits on the edge of the Okanogan National Forest. You can walk in the woods all the way to Canada from here.
This is a quiet neighborhood. With a modern country store that is known for its first class baked goods, sandwiches, beer and Pizza Night.
  • We love it here!! This is our second time! Perfect amenities location such a peaceful getaway. Extremely thoughtful and everything you need to refresh and rejuvenate. Can’t wait to be back

    Daniel2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • It was an amazing place with good trail access. The photos didn’t do it justice!

    Casey2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin, very well furnished and the location is excellent, very close to the ski trails.

    Laura2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Our second stay here. Perfect location for cross country skiing. Great use of a small place. Quiet, cozy and well organized. Set up well for home cooking.

    Jonah2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed this little cabin. It is very comfortable and cozy and perfect for two guests. We literally only had to walk a few steps to get to the cross country ski trail, which was great. The cabin has a little kitchen, which enabled us to cook our own meals in the evening. Free WiFi access allowed us to stream movies on our laptop at night. There are two super comfortable chairs in the cabin perfect for relaxing while reading, enjoying the beautiful snow covered forest through the window or watching a movie. We had a few questions during our stay and Phil responded immediately to them. We hope to be back next winter.

    Steffi2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was perfect for my pooch and me. Really appreciated how warm and cozy it was. Never had to turn up the floor heat or baseboards, did use the propane fireplace for extra coziness, but really didn't need it much. Super comfy bed. Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Had everything I needed! Loved that it had a full kitchen so that I could cook when I wanted. Would definitely stay here again!

    Christy2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sparkling clean and super cute little cabin in a perfect location. Very comfortable bed!

    Karin2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is a small, but new, clean and brilliantly designed cabin in a beautiful location. Everything you need is there, and very well laid out. It's cold there (the highs were around 27 degrees F most days we were there), and the heating is perfect - it's very cosy. It's about a mile from Mazama village, which is very small but has a great and fun general store, a sports store and a gas station. Winthrop is about 12 miles away, and a quick drive along Highway 20. Communication was perfect - Phil told us everything we needed to know. Check-in was totally smooth. We have stayed in several cabins in the Methow Valley at this time of year, and all were good, but Phil and Carol's was the best. We had a great week cross-country skiing.

Sauk Mountain Cottage is tucked just off Highway 20 on four park-like acres. Fronted by a charming covered porch, the cottage has a queen-size bed, full kitchen, and bathroom. It's the perfect place to spend one night as you're passing through the Skagit Valley or to use as your base camp for several days while you explore the mountains and the river in this gorgeous area.
The cottage is perched on a little rise across the driveway from our main house, with a backdrop of big, old evergreen trees and Sauk Mountain, visible from the back porch on a clear day. The covered front porch, screened by colorful dahlias in summer, has two lawn chairs situated with a view all the way out to green foothills that often see snow in the winter. It's the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, whether on a warm summer morning or a crisp fall one. Inside the cottage, a small table and two chairs sit next to a big window looking out on the porch and garden. The mantle is stocked with books, from regional guidebooks to outdoor adventure memoirs to murder mysteries. Made of locally reclaimed wood, the queen-sized bed has an organic latex mattress and comfy sheets, plus a quilt and fleecy throw blanket. Before you call it a night, be sure to step out onto the back porch and look up, on a clear night, to see countless stars. In the kitchen, you'll find a full fridge, propane stove, microwave (which is also a convection oven), sink, toaster, coffee maker and French press, and basic cooking utensils. We stock cooking basics like salt and pepper, olive oil, and ground coffee. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, Honest Company shampoo, pedestal sink, and toilet--we supply bath towels, hand towels, and a bath mat.
The cottage is located in a rural neighborhood just four miles east of Concrete, where you can find a grocery store, gluten-free bakery, and a few restaurants (pizza, Korean, and barbecue). There is a boat launch less than a mile east of the cottage as well as easy access to miles of trails at Rockport State Park and Howard Miller Steelhead Park. We're close to the access road to popular Sauk Mountain and sixteen miles from North Cascades National Park, where the opportunities for outdoor recreation are endless.

  • Fantastic rustic cabin right on the Sauk River. My husband and I had a perfect autumn getaway, and look forward to staying again.

    Kristy2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most delightful weekend at Scott’s cozy cabin. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer as two nights was too short! The cabin was well equipped with everything you could need, including kitchen basics like spices and oil, appliances like a coffee bean grinder, sunscreen and bug spray (didn’t need those but nice to know they were there!), and guide books for the area. The cabin is even lovelier in person, and waking up with a view of the Sauk river and the misty mountains was such a delight. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, but we ended up just spending more time being cozy inside reading and relaxing. The cabin is well located to cascades national park (about an hour to the visitors center). Would absolutely love to return and would highly recommend!

    Mary2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Nothing has been overlooked at this Airbnb. From the kitchen with every utensil to the little LED flashlight at the bottom of the stairs, this place has everything you could ever ask for.

    Dean2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The house is a very complete and comfortable place. Especially when the wether allows sitting outside at the river at a campfire with some friends it is great.

    Hein2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Whitehorse Hideaway is a BEAUTIFUL cottage! It's even more beautiful than the photos! Scott has thought of so many little extras like board games, condiments, all sorts of literature for day trips in the area, and, of course, the S'mores Kit! Such a wonderful little gem!

    Amy2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Scott's place is fantastic. The river view and deck are as beautiful as they look, but I think what impressed us most was just how much amenities were available. We stayed here as we hiked in the North Cascades and Scott's place made it really easy to come back and feel at home. There was every kitchen item/accessory you could think of which made cooking after we hiked super easy, and there were non-perishables in the fridge and cupboard. There were tons of board games and movies. There was even bear spray and some outdoor/hiking necessities. Close to a lot of great local hikes and 40 mins-1 hr away from the Cascades. Would definitely stay here again.

    Troy2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here for our 1st anniversary, and we would absolutely come back! The location is perfect for visiting the cascades, and the cabin is so comfortable! We really enjoyed sitting by the fire out back and watching the river. So peaceful!

    Amy2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay and wished it was longer! The cabin is beautiful and spacious and the river view was lovely. We loved all of the amenities, including the Keurig and the s'mores kit! If we ever return to the area we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, 556 sq. ft., 1 bdrm cabin w/ loft located on Hilt Creek w/ a private beach area for lounging next to the water. Located only 20 min. from N. Cascades National Park! In winter, bald eagles & blue heron sit around the creek waiting for salmon. Private parking, gated driveway, BBQ, large bonfire pit, & located 7.5 miles from Sauk River boat launch. It’s important to note: Our beds are FIRM memory foam, & you may not have cell service but we have WiFi! 15 min. from nearest gas/grocery.
There is a ladder leading to a loft that has 2 full beds separated by a privacy curtain, and 1 queen bed downstairs in a bohemian-style bedroom. We have new, firm, memory foam mattresses, and the two in the loft rest on a large rug. Great for kids, but most of our adult guests sleep up there, too! The couch can be used for a guest as well as a blow-up mattress located in the closet downstairs for additional guests. Any coffee, condiments, soap, and extra toiletries are for our guests to use. Please leave them at the cabin after your stay.
Take a beautiful walk next to the river in Howard Miller Steelhead Park in Rockport, just 3 minutes away. Or, find hidden beach spots next to the Sauk River along HWY 530. Great for fishing! With no neighbors directly on either side of the cabin, you have plenty of privacy. The neighbors that do live in the area are kind and mind their own business. There is an empty lot next door with a bus on it, owned by our dear friend - soon to be renovated into an Airbnb!
  • Hilt Creek Cabin is a gem! Despite being in a neighborhood that might be considered a little adventurous for some, the cabin is tucked away in it's own little nook up against a beautiful, peaceful creek. We saw 5 species of birds from the patio (my dream come true)! The cabin itself is cozy and comfortable, and a great place to come back to after long days of hiking in cooler early spring temps. We enjoyed our time here so much that we decided to stay another night! Thanks Ashely for being such a welcoming and available host.

    Madelyn2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • We spent one night in the cabin. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We planned to see Diablo Lake, but unfortunately the road was closed, but the drive and the little waterfalls along the way are still scenic! There's also a river right outside the back door where you can swim in the summer or have a bonfire. We had a great time, thanks Ashley!

  • This is a great spot for a cozy getaway. The living space was bigger than anticipated and with all 3 beds really could comfortably accommodate a group. The space is nicely decorated and very pleasant for a relaxing stay. The amount of privacy offered also exceeded expectations, with a gated yard and fenced backyard. I would recommend this location for sure!

Enjoy the 1/3 acre private lot to build campfires, play lawn games, or even set up a tent and sleep outside. Please note that the home does not have WiFi or cable TV. - we have a TV and a small selection of DVDs available for you, but our hope is that you will enjoy some time unconnected while you are here.
  • Sonja's place is very lovely and has a much better view of the river than I was expecting! Sadly it rained for a lot of our time there, but we had a good time nonetheless. It is a bit tricky to find in the dark, so arrive while the sun is out if you can! We went hiking at Baker Lake and ate at 5bs in town and I recommend them both!

  • We didn't get to stay at Dustin's airbnb because of the self-isolation measures due to Covid-19. However I'd like to say that Dustin and Dan were very communicative during the entire process and were very compassionate when we had to cancel our trip at the last minute (the day of!) because members of our group had to quarantine themselves and even gave us 50% of the accom fee back despite a very firm cancellation policy. They seem like great people and I would 100% book with them again once everything settles again in the near future!

  • Fantastic cabin! We had an amazing stay. Will definitely come back again.

    Megan2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter’s couldn’t contain their absolute excitement when walking into the cabin. It’s an absolutely adorable space and Dustin has really thought about every tiny detail to make it so comfortable and cozy. Thanks so much Dustin!

    Angie2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The perfect place for a snow-cation! The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. we cannot wait to come back!

    Kristian2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome stay. The place was exactly like the pictures. We were warm and cozy, the fire place was nice, the beds were very comfortable. We loved it!

    Lisa2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Moosewood is truly a delightful cabin stay! It’s cozy and comfortable and the hosts have provided many ‘extra’ touches to make it comfortable. The beds were fabulous and the wood burning fireplace made for a homey, warm ambience. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed including the smaller sized stove! We’ll always remember this place!

    Evelyn2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a lovely place to stay, I would highly recommend for a small group of adults with or without children. Having the sonos speaker was also a lovely touch.

    Alison2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We took our staff away (seven of us) for a weekend retreat and couldn’t have chosen a better cabin location! Moosewood is charming and is full of thoughtful touches! We cooked our meals in and the kitchen was well stocked and very efficient. The beds, linens and pillows were extremely comfortable. The smart tv and wifi made for a fun movie night in. We went snowshoeing at Manning Park one afternoon (only 1/2 hour away) and it was gorgeous! We will definitely be back!!! Cabin was sparkling clean and was the PERFECT location for our group. Floors are quite creaky but there are white noise machines in every room. Firewood and kindling were well stocked for our snowy Winter stay. Things to note: power was out upon arrival but thankfully came on within half hour. No cell service to contact hosts but cabin was well stocked with lanterns and candles...wood fireplace and gas stove would have helped us through a longer power outage. Bunk beds are youth sized...several of our taller guests feet hung off the ends slightly but there were plenty of warm blankets to keep everyone warm and cozy. Not an issue for our group but worth noting for larger adult groups. Oven is small (as noted in listing) but we were prepared in advance.

  • Wow!!!! This place was gorgeous inside and out. My husband and I wanted a nice home base for some hiking in the Cascades. This spot was the perfect choice. Firstly, the inside was sparkling clean with gorgeous finishes. The kitchen and bathroom in particular were beautifully finished. Then the bed! It was so comfortable with nice linens (and we're particular). Then the outside! AMAZING views. Just stepping out on the back porch or looking out the giant windows delivered amazing views of the glacier mountain. Exploring the property was tons of fun. We even got to speak to the owner and she was a lovely person with lots of great thoughts on the property and surrounding areas. Choose this place! You will not regret it.

  • Beautiful view! Absolutely awesome!

    Emily2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely drive, lovely views, great hikes nearby, and up to date (and almost extravagant!) kitchen amenities. Wonderful kitchen, a sweet lofted bedroom, a large deck and fire pit. As others have mentioned, there is active construction happening on the property, and while you have "the whole place" in regards to the rooms, it is attached to another active space with a shared entryway, wall--and once you walk on the deck--you can see the neighboring apartment's deck and inside that space. Spotty internet, though it was nice to be forced away. Lonnie was very communicative and had recommendations for hikes nearby. We will be back when we need a quick getaway!

    Kelli2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely well equipped unit with wonderful views of the glacier. Kitchen is great with all the amenities you will need , bed comfortable and a good shower. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious deck in the evening and the tranquil surroundings.

    Caron2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay. Beautifully decorated house with care given to use of space, artefacts, fixtures and fittings and everything you would need practically for cooking. A personal welcome which was friendly and helpful.

    Tanya2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Newly constructed cabin with an adjoining unit. Beautiful inside and out. Great private property but there may be other guests on the property.

  • This place was a wonderful choice for our stay in eastern Washington. The property is beautiful, including the access to a creek and some nearby woods. All amenities were provided and the host was very responsive if anything was needed or questions came up. I would stay here again, and would recommend this place to anyone.

Skagit Steelhead House is a historic 2 bed, 1 bath apartment that is bright, clean, and spacious with handcrafted rustic touches. At the base of Sauk Mountain and the banks of the Skagit River you have found the perfect launching point for many great adventures. What are you waiting for?
The home dates back to 1920 where it started life as a railroad station supporting the gold and logging booms that put Rockport on the map. In the 1940s it was made into a bar called the Tourist Tavern. In the 1980s ownership changed hands and so did the name, as the home became the Fish Inn. In 2009 the decaying Fish Inn was literally lifted off its foundation, a new basement dug, a new foundation laid, and a new life poured into an amazing piece of history. After years of careful renovation the home is ready to host another century of guests, families, children, fishermen, hikers, rafters, climbers, and outdoor lovers to the slice of heaven that is the Skagit River and the North Cascades. In the renovation as many local crafters and materials were sourced as could be found. Many touches came from the forests and the hands of those that call the North Cascades home every day. - The bench in the entry was milled by a local wood worker in Concrete out of a solid slab of Douglas Fir. - The doors and trim for the bedrooms and bathroom were crafted by a local Rockport man that personally salvaged the old growth Fir logs out of the forest and had them helicoptered to his mill. - The Steelhead carving (that is our homage to the Skagit River) was carved and stained by hand, first with a chainsaw and then with the detail brushes of a fine watercolorist. - The king bed and matching dresser in the river bedroom were handcrafted by small furniture maker in BC out of reclaimed barn wood. - The shelves in the dining room and river bedroom were made from salvaged 2x6 lumber from the original construction. Special attention was always paid to keep as much of the spirit of area in the home as possible while still giving the home and modern and comfortable feel.
Right in your backyard is Howard Miller Steelhead Park on the banks of the Skagit River. The park is a year round draw for outdoor enthusiasts and a renowned fishing spot and one of the main boat launches in the area. The park also boasts two playgrounds and a hiking trail that parallels the river along the old railroad bed high banks. In the front yard you have Sauk Mountain. The first major peak you encounter (coming West to East on Hwy 20) in the North Cascades, it tops out at 5500ft. There is a parking lot and trailhead at the 4400ft level that can be accessed via Sauk Mountain Rd about 1 mile West of the house on the North side of Hwy 20. Climbing the remaining 1100ft vertical gain gives you some truly breathtaking views of the Skagit and Sauk Rivers to the North, Glacier Peak to the East, and (on a clear day) the Olympic Range and San Juan Islands to the West. Heading West on Hwy 20 takes past Concrete and into the former logging town of Sedro Wooley. As you continue West you hit Fidalgo Island, the Straight of Juan de Fuca, and Deception Pass. Heading East on Hwy 20 takes along the bends and curves of the (Federally designated) Wild & Scenic Skagit River past Cascadian Farms, an organic farm with in season berries, produce, and awesome fresh made organic ice cream, into the town of Marblemount. As you travel beyond Marblemount you pass Newhalem and Diablo gaining elevation the entire time as you get deep into the North Cascades and over the North Cascade Pass (only open during warmer months due to large amounts of snow and avalanches) into the western town of Winthrop. Heading South on Hwy 530 takes you along the Sauk River and into the town of Darrington at the gateway to the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

  • What a cool place! The view of the trees and creek out the windows are fantastic, it is such a beautiful forest setting. The propane heater worked great, considering we were there in March it was definitely necessary. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, and the white noise of the roar of the creek. We did hike up to the waterfall and it is truly spectacular. We would definitely stay here again!

    McLean2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Hands down one of the coolest AirBnB experiences we have had, the treehouse is a masterpiece of craftsmanship as beautifully simple as it is elegant. I would be thrilled to go again!

    Mckay2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome experience. Rustic and perfect for us. Lovely loft space to sleep, comfy hammocks downstairs, and a great host. Loved sleeping to the sound of Gay Creek. We will be back. :)

    Anna2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible place in a beautiful area! Don’t worry about being too cold at night. We were sweating by the middle of the night with the propane heater when it was about 25 degrees outside.

    Annie2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • So many wonderful surprises and thoughtful touches to this treehouse. I wasn’t expecting anything close to how amazing the stay actually is. Beautiful space in the trees with all the necessities needed to have a one of a kind experience. I would rent the treehouse again and for longer if the opportunity comes up. Highly recommended.

    Andrea2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Zack’s place was the most perfect accommodation for our quick trip to the North Cascades. Waking up with the sound of the creek and amazing mossy trees was perfect. Things were tidy and the bed was extra nice after a day on the trails. We will definitely be back.

    Shelby2019-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Eagle's Perch treehouse! The running creek nearby and beautiful foilage all around was perfect. My biggest concern was that it would be too cold in the night, and the propane heater(which I was not expecting) completed the cozy feel to our stay in Nov.

    Tiana2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • As returning guests we knew what to expect & the Eagle’s Neat still blows our mind with the thoughtful touches Zack continues to add. We can’t wait to return for a winter get away in this lovely cozy Treehouse, now our 2nd home away from home. A highly recommend stay let alone experience. AMAZING

The ultimate couples get away Nestled into the tranquil woods, this large cabin feels very secluded amongst the trees. The views from the third floor are purely of pines. Refurbished to feel like a sophisticated sturdy; city meets cabin. You may want to spend you whole time inside the luxurious cabin, although we highly encourage outdoor adventure. Even if its just to find the private hot tub out back under the stars.
We keep the cabin cozy with a quick flip of a switch the gas fireplace lights up and sends warm air all throughout. In the warmer months, the windows open and on the second floor there are TWO sets of french doors that open to allow ultimate cross breeze amongst the tree limbs. The main floor hosts the kitchen, bathroom, and chill space. Up to the second floor is the master suite; a pillow top king bed, huge windows, as well as another bathroom. The third floor is a steep stairway up (use handrail) Once on the third floor you will find serenity. Perhaps you'll be inspired to do a little yoga...but the tv is also up there with a selection of movies, a couch, and blankets to cozy up with.
The Nooksack Shack is located inside a gated community. We will provide access code info upon reservation confirmation. The neighborhood is very friendly as everyone there has something in common, a love for the forest. Please enjoy all the amenities with respect to others around you; the fishing pond, play ground, pool, park, trails, etc.
  • Incredible cabin with every amenity! Close to Mt. Baker and we had such a beautiful stay. Thank you!

  • 5 stars across the board. Had an incredible stay at Nate and Kaylee’s. The cabin was perfect; secluded but close to Mt. Baker and trails, rustic but great amenities, and cozy but comfortable (and the amazing hot-tub was just icing on the cake). Would certainly come back in either winter or summer season. Great communication and check in was a breeze. Thanks!

  • From what we could tell, we are pretty sure the Nooksack Shack is one of the best cabins in this location. The backyard / hot tub area was much more private and out in the woods compared to neighboring places. On top of the privacy and incredible woodland views, the cabin was incredibly clean, cute, cozy, and comfortable. And the hot tub is the BEST hot tub experience we have ever had. Could not recommend this place more!

Feral Farm’s home is located in Rockport, Washington, United States.
  • Very scenic off the grid place.

  • The Wizard's Cabin is a perfect place for introspection and relaxation - my partner and I had a great time doing just that, surrounded by nature. The space was clean and well-stacked with wood and basic supplies - the cabin itself was nicely appointed and cozy. The hosts were very accommodating and welcoming as well, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

  • Wizard's cabin at Feral Farm is exactly what the description says. If you're looking to disconnect, and spend time off grid, this is it. As avid campers we enjoyed having "amenities" and warmth that is hard to get in winter camping. Hosts are attentive, friendly and provide everything we needed to cover the basics. We're looking forward to spending more time at FF.

  • Feral Farm was the perfect getaway from the city my partner and I were looking for. The location is beautiful and the cabin is the right amount of cozy and rustic. We loved relaxing and reading by the fire as well as wandering the beautiful trails in the woods on the property. Cooking outside, even in the rain, was a lot of fun. The quiet and simplicity of this cabin were just what we needed before going back to "the real world" after the holidays. We are hoping to return during the sunnier months and learn more about the projects going on at the farm!

    Hannah2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The wizard's Cabin was great! I thought that the cabin would be cold in the winter night but the wood burner kept the cabin at a warm temperature. Matt and his daughter were extremely helpful in getting me situated into the site. The bed was comfortable. But the site... The farmland/wooded area around the cabin is on a different level. If you are an adventure seeker, this is a must. If you are lucky one of the cats would be your companion while exploring the lands. All in all a must visit listing!

  • This cabin helped me slow down and find peace. I really enjoyed the off-grid stay with cozy touches, wood stove, and privacy/calm being on the edge of the property. It was also a great location to explore the area and local parks. Beautiful and so many stars at night!

    Kristin2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint and simple. Just enough amenities for a comfortable weekend unplugged with unexpected extras like tea and seasonings. I went on a hike about 45 minutes northeast by Diablo Lake. Beautiful country. Enjoyed the rain and the warmth of the wood-stove.

    Sarah2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were very nice and respected my privacy. They let me keep to myself to work on a writing project but were friendly when I wandered the area to explore the trails. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. It had everything I needed. Great base camp for exploring the recreation opportunities in the area.

The Tiny House may be tiny, but she be fierce! It is packed full, inside and out, with all the things you need for a lovely unplugged stay in the North Cascades. Wake up to birds singing, take your coffee outside on the large wraparound deck and breathe in the fresh mountain air. After a day exploring, come back to enjoy a drink and some sort of treat you may have picked up from the Mazama Store. Please be aware that there is no WiFi! And you may not have cell coverage.
How to describe this space? Utterly dreamy. From the wraparound porch to the faux fur covered futon lounge area in the loft to the 150 year old cast iron bed to the heated floor in the bathroom - you will fall in love. It’s warm and cozy, but be warned, there is no internet and very sparse cell coverage. All the better for getting in touch with nature. We have a small tv and DVD player. If you are a movie buff, download your movies on your device before heading to the mountains.
The Lost River Tiny House is 7 miles up Hart’s Pass Road from the famous Mazama Store. It is located in the Lost River Airport Association, so you pilots can fly in. How cool is that? From here, you are right at the entrance to the Pasayten Wilderness and all the trails your heart can handle. If you enjoy snowmobiling, Yellow Jacket SnoPark is a mile away.
  • This place is much bigger than it looks! It’s darling and quiet and everything we were looking for. Will be back!

    Holly2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place to stay! It’s private, cozy and the perfect spot to relax. We loved having to pass by the Mazama store everyday on our way to ski and found the house perfect for cooking simple meals and lounging around to read. A heads up that the drive into the neighborhood was super icy for our stay and wouldn’t be ideal if you had a two-wheel drive car.

  • If you are looking for a perfectly wonderful spot to take a break from the city and craziness of day to day living - this little cabin is perfect. All you need for two and wonderfully located.

    Lynne2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny house is so perfect! It is nestled amongst beautiful trees and you can hear the river below. My favorite part of this sweet cabin are the thoughtful touches like a gorgeous outdoor space to read a book or enjoy a cup of coffee. Erika the host is amazing at communicating and checking in. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in a relaxing beautiful and cozy retreat. I would give it TEN STARS if I could!

    Will2019-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Erika's place is a fantastic little house in a great location. Lots of nearby hikes/snow activities, and the Mazama store down the road is amazing. There is enough space inside for 2 people to lounge comfortably, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking the basics.

    Elizabeth2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy and cute tiny cabin. Great place to relax and enjoy lovely Mazama.

    Rebecca2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The reviews of this place were very high and this tiny home does not disappoint. It is impressive in its efficient use of space and is furnished with your comfort and needs in mind. We loved the fact that it was close to a large number of hikes and to Twisp, and we will definitely be back.

    Alice2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Erika’s tiny house exceeded our expectations. The house was spotlessly clean and had wonderful little touches that made the small space enjoyable, relaxing, and easy. We loved the decor inside and outside. The tiny kitchen had all the kitchen essentials, e.g. utensils, pans, and instant pot, to allow cooking simple meals from home. Erika was always prompt on her messages and we loved our stay. It’s definitely on the list to come back to. Thank you Erika!

  • We had a fantastic stay. It is as cute as the photos. Very nice cabin with character and charm. I would definitely stay again and great value. We didn’t eat out and cooked all our meals there ,the kitchen was nice and clean and has all the basics. I might suggest if you are making something specific and need a certain type/size dish to maybe bring your own. We had a great time and enjoyed the town of hope and the snow. There was also lots of fun toys and convenience for if you had kids and a great DVD selection.
