“The closest Whole Foods. A little bit of a jumble if one were to walk (Sprouts is much easier to get to) but still. And if you've never had their chantilly cake you need to try it. It's the best cake I ever had. ”

“King Soopers is a grocery chain. There are two nearby. This one is within walking distance, in the Towne Center. There is another fancy version/Whole Foods-ish that's about a five minute drive from here at Martin Luther King and Havana streets. ”

Organic Grocery
“This is our favorite grocery store. Natural Grocers. But unfortunately a bit of a haul (by Denver standards). All the produce is organic, so you don't have to worry about eating pesticide-laden food. Highly recommend. Also, you can stroll down Tennyson street while there. Lots of great shops and restaurants so you can see another great Denver neighborhood.”

“As authentic as you can get in Denver for NY deli food. Great breakfasts including scrambled lox, eggs, and onion. Real imported. NY bagels”

“This is not a huge grocery store, rather a smaller boutique-type Safeway (if that's even possible) where the staff is friendly, helpful and the limited space means the selection of food is well thought-out, for the discerning people living nearby. Hey, it's 2 blocks-less than a proper dog-walk-so you can lug home everything you need-on foot. Also has a Starbucks, deli, bakery and small flower shop.”
