  • Amazing bed and breakfast in a unique, funky house! I’m really happy I stayed in the Happy Place for my first solo trip and Airbnb stay. Easy access to bus lines that take you right into the city. Walking distance to the oldest dispensary in Portland. And super close to the beautiful Mt Tabor park! The rooms are a good size and the shower gets hot quickly :) definitely wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

  • Tissa was always available to answer any questions I had about use of the AirBnb. She offered good advice on places to visit. The coffee was good, the bath was clean, and the furniture was comfy. Mount Tabor just draws you to its natural wonders. Portland has so much to see and do! What a great place!

    Gabriel2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, if you're not tall (low ceilings). A gift card for Tabor Bread is included with your reservation and the food was amazing! My favorite was a red wheat biscuit with egg and bacon.

    Shirley2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Tissa's apartment is very cute and close to one of the major streets (Hawthorne). Her cafe serves the most delicious bread. I highly recommend this location - and the focaccia!

    Megan2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great host, we enjoyed our stay. And the bakery was an added bonus! Thank you, Tissa.

  • This place is a true gem. Tissa is beyond generous. She gave gift card to her amazing bread shop, had helpful maps with lots of directions, and coffee and tea in the unit. Her place is quite and the neighborhood is amazing

    Priscilla2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • It’s been such a beautiful stay at Tissas very lovely and comfortable Appartement. It was super clean and set up with a lot of love to detail. Our everyday highlight was the absolutely delicious breakfast at Tabor Bread. We‘d love to come back one day. Absolutely recommended place!

    Lea2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Tissa’s little apartment is beautifully decorated, cozy, private, in a great location! We enjoyed walking to stunning Mt Tabor park with our dog almost every morning. Shops and restaurants of all kinds are within walking distance, safe quiet neighborhood lined with trees. Our stay was as close to perfect as it could be. The breakfasts and lunches at Tissa’s Tabor Bread was the icing on top, all in all, a bargain and a delight. I highly recommend this beautiful place for travelers who want to feel at home.

Scappoose Creek Inn is on the remaining 4 acres of a 400 acre dairy farm. While the cows are long gone, we do have llamas and chickens.
The Wrong room has a queen bed, roll top desk, electric fireplace and a bathtub/shower combination. It has windows on two sides with views of our llama pasture and field. The room is located in the main farmhouse of our Bed & Breakfast. The rate of $70/night does not include breakfast. There is a breakfast nook that all guests have access to, which includes a microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, refrigerator and tables & chairs. The Wrong room is located in the same wing as the Wright Room, so if you are looking for two rooms together you can book them both.
We are located across the street from the Scappoose Airpark. The airport is home to private prop planes and a few businesses. There is also a small county park.
  • Great accommodation!

    Joel2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great accommodation. If we had not found a nice accommodation in Portland, we would have liked to stay longer. Everything was very nice. A bit of aircraft noise from the small airport you have to accept. Did and did not bother as rest seekers. The air conditioning was a bit too cool for us, as common for the European in the US. And a little noise from the AC (?) On the roof next to the bathroom are striking for the country atmosphere, annoying and personally not very. It is a pity that it is not quite quiet in the country. Overall, really great !!

Our Borealis Room was inspired by high mountain and northern places. Light blue bedroom; "midnight" bathroom. In this east-facing micro-suite, stone and glass tile bring to mind the rock and ice of mountain peaks while everyday comforts keep you cozy.
Bellaterra is a licensed bed and breakfast in a creatively restored Victorian in Lair Hill, a historic neighborhood in close-in Southwest Portland. Rooms are inspired by nature and culture, each with a unique theme. The guest rooms are decorated with antiques, and each has its own glass or stone-tiled bathroom. Some rooms have views of the Willamette River, SE Portland, and Mount Hood.
Lair Hill is an early Portland neighborhood which offers a quiet, leafy place to relax or take a walk while providing easy access to downtown (approximately one mile). OHSU, Doernbecker Children's hospital, Casey Eye Institute and the VA hospital are all within about 1/2 mile. Also close to the vibrant South Waterfront neighborhood and the Marquam walking trail. • This room is beautiful! It was perfect for my stay. Ellen was super responsive and answered all my questions. I loved being here and probably will be the main plan I stay when visiting in the future.

  • Amazing place. Comfy bed. Help yourself to great breakfast. Lots of charm. Hope to return soon!

    Susan2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice, clean and stylish room. It's perfect for one traveler. Ellen was thoughtful. She responded my questions quickly. Thomas was kind. He reminded me to get air for one of my car tires so I could safely drive back home. They are great people. They made me feel safe to stay there. I also enjoyed a restaurant nearby: Cascade Fare. After a day conference, it was nice to walk a block to sit in a modern new American food.

  • Super fun room. Had a really nice stay. Staff was accommodating and quickly responded to questions.

  • Ellen invited me to her symphony performance and I decided to take up that offer, which I'm glad I did because it was such a memorable experience. Great amenities and the BnB has so much personality

    Jordan2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen is a wonderful host! Her place is definitely the best to stay in Portland. Everything looked exactly like in the pictures. Every morning there was served a breakfast for the guests, the whole atmosphere on the place was just awesome. It felt like everything is made with love and caring about people who are staying there. It was super clean, cozy and the location was just perfect! In the morning I saw incredible view with mountain during sunrise, it was amazing. Thank you so much Ellen! I would definitely stay there again when I’m back to Portland one day.

    Дарья2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen's Borealis Room is quite enchanting. It is decorated with furniture to give you a feel that you walked back in time to a prior era when life was slower. The environment of the room helped cultivate a feeling of peace and relaxation. Ellen's place is located in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood with beautiful views. If you plan on taking public transportation like I did, there is a high frequency bus stop located within about a 5 minute walk of Ellen's Place. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you are on vacation and looking to find some peace.

    Zack2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed in the lone traveler blue room. This micro suite is perfect for a single traveler. It is so pretty and cosy. No tv in the room, which made it quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a glass of wine, a good book and a soak in that beauty of a claw foot tub. ☺ this was a hospital trip for my husband, and her location is just a few minutes away, which took a lot of stress off of me . Ellen was so helpful and welcoming, which makes this my go to for any future Portland trips.

NOTE: NOT A TYPICAL AIRBNB LISTING! Happy Rock Inn is the coolest B & B in the Northwest, with multiple rooms available & space for up to 10-12 guests (see "Rent the Lodge" listing). Nestled among tall pines, our 6000 sq ft lodge is dog & 420-friendly, decorated with amazing music & sexy memorabilia, & the perfect spot to meet others & enjoy adult activities. Enjoy our farm-fresh food, beer, wine or bud (or all of the above) on the sunset deck, our party pit, or our 44 feet of good timin' bar.
AirBNB doesn’t know how to treat a listing like us. We don’t just give you a room, we give you a memory and an experience – just read our reviews. Our place is different – from check-in to check-out, we wanted to give guests the kind of memories they couldn’t get anywhere else. Be sure to read our HOUSE RULES for a full idea of how we roll as a business, and so you know our procedures. Happy Rock Inn is an EXPERIENCE. Our customers (many who become lifetime friends) come here because they want to meet, socialize and hang out with others like them. They want a cool place to relax, kick their feet up, get their party on, or simply enjoy a great cup of coffee on the sunset deck. They want hosts who are as cool as they are, and who take care of them. They want to meet others to share their journey and their story with. And here at Happy Rock Inn, you’re very likely to meet other great people like yourself who want to make new friends and share those great experiences with them – or you can strike off on your own journey or adventure, and we’re happy to give you some great ideas and things to experience along the way. Sitting on 1.25 acres, the 6000 square foot home, garage-ma-hall and event area is truly an amazing property to spend time at. Surrounded by tall Sitkas, Sequoia (Giant Redwoods), Maples and Poplar trees which overlook the Williamette River valley, this wood-rich lodge contains 3 Bedrooms, all with different bed setups and amenities are connected to a common living room, huge common, bar and party area, and huge rock-terraced rear property and party firepit. The beds are super-comfortable, with new pillowtop and memory foam mattresses, 500 count sheets and rich wood trim, floors, and furniture. All of the rooms are decorated in a mix of music, sexy models, historic and sports memorabilia. We offer food from breakfast to lunch and dinner, and the menu is constantly changing. There’s something for everyone here, and that makes Happy Rock Inn truly the Northwest’s coolest Happy Rockin' joint. We do a lot of things different. First, we wanted folks like us to have a very nice place to land, be yourself and relax. We're smoke-friendly, as long as you do it outside. There are no kids allowed, because we love kids and this isn't the place for them. You don’t have to watch your language, your dress or hesitate because you want to chill in the middle of the day or party in the evening. You can sleep in and check out late – it’s all cool here. We WANT you to spend the evening enjoying one of our custom dinners and glass of something, hang out at our fabulous party pit, listening to or playing some music in the bar, or lounging on the sunset deck forgetting about your worries. We WANT you to socialize with us and the other guests and have a good time. The Swanky Master Suite is just that - SWANKY. It’s a roomy master suite with one of the most comfortable beds you’ve ever had, for sleeping or otherwise 😊 It’s got its own private bath and shower, with some beautiful tile work and heated stone tile floors. New French doors overlook the stone terraces and party pit area. Decorated with sexy artwork and cool music items, it’s super comfortable, super private, and a great place to spend time in.
We are located in Gladstone, Oregon...A suburb of Portland, between Milwaukie and Oregon City. We are 20 minutes from everywhere: The Airport, Downtown, or the West Side. We have some great shopping, restaurants and landmarks close by. We offer tours, pickup and drop-off service and other experience -based offerings. We love our neighborhood - it's quiet, surrounded by tall Maples, Sequoia and Sitka Spruce Trees. We're just getting open so some things are based on availability, but we try very hard to accommodate all requests and we always love being great tour guides. Whether you're looking for a great restaurant, the best whiskey bar, fantastic shopping or the best strip club in town, we can point you in the right direction.
  • This place is absolutely wonderful. This is the best air bnb I have ever stayed at. It felt like a home away from home. The decor is lovely, the setting is charming, and the hosts are really cool people. The food is awesome too. I love this place! I highly recommend it.

  • Great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of life

    John2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Michele are some of the most lovely hosts we have ever stayed with in an AirBnB, or any BNB for that matter. They provided personal attention, and have one of the coolest homes and spaces I have come across in a long time. We felt very comfortable and welcome from the minute we drove up. They provided local tips and recommendations for floating the Clackamas and are a wealth of knowledge. The breakfast was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, and they are just downright good folks. I would and will stay with them again in the future. Thanks guys for such a great weekend!!

    Todd2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Hands down, this was one of the most wonderful BnB experiences we have had! Jim and Michelle, (and Twinkie too!) are awesome hosts. We had an amazing bonfire, roasted marshmallows and ate s'mores on our evening there. Jim played guitar and sang for us and generously encouraged my husband to jam, by lending him one of his guitars. For breakfast we had blueberry pancakes with local, fresh picked blackberries-it was divine-also cooked by Jim. We were pampered, and felt completely relaxed, and really didn't want to leave...so we'll have to go back!

  • Conveniently located place , very clean room and amenities, friendly host

    Okan2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • I was in charge of planning a bachelor party for a larger group, and after a long search for places to stay in the area, came across the Happy Rock Inn. This is the perfect place to host a group of people, as there is so much on offer. Most importantly, you could not ask for better hosts than Jim and Michele! The Inn itself has ample space, including several separate bedrooms, a full living area, and amazing spaces for entertaining. The entertainment room opens to the outside, and the fire pit is a great place to hang out in the evenings. The breakfast on offer at the Inn is top notch, and made our mornings! Jim and Michele went out of their way to make to make our trip a success. They were exceptionally responsive throughout the planning process and were able to provide so much local knowledge and guidance. I would highly recommend using the van transportation that is on offer by Jim and Michele. It saved us so much time, hastle, and coordination when compared to using other means of transportation, such as Uber or renting, and is great value. You also get the added bonus of having Jim and Michele as your defacto local guides. They are genuinely amazing people, and will work with you to make your stay everything you want it to be. We wouldn't look any further than the Happy Rock Inn if heading to the Portland area, and will definitely be back in the future.

    Ryan2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a week with Jim & Michele...what an awesome time!! Thoughtful details, meaningful conversations and stories, & beautiful views...this will be a trip we will remember for a long time. Thank you so much for creating Happy Rock Inn, we definitely plan on coming back :-)

    Laura2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Michelle are amazing hosts! They are super laid back and fun people. They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. They have a beautiful home with a very cool setup. I would highly recommend this place if you want a fun experience, especially if you enjoy socializing with the hosts and other guests. I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Portland!

NOTE: NOT A TYPICAL AIRBNB LISTING! We are a full fledged bed and breakfast, with multiple rooms available and space for up to 10-12 guests. Happy Rock Inn is the coolest B & B in the Northwest. Nestled among tall pines, this lodge-style 6000 sq feet lodge is dog and 420 friendly, decorated so cool, and the perfect spot to meet others. Enjoy our great farm-fresh food, a beer, wine or bud (or all of the above) on the sunset deck, our party pit, or our 44 feet of good timin' bar.
AirBNB doesn’t know how to treat a listing like us. We don’t just give you a room, we give you a memory and an experience – just read our reviews. Our place is different – from check-in to check-out, we wanted to give guests the kind of memories they couldn’t get anywhere else. Be sure to read our HOUSE RULES for a full idea of how we roll as a business. The Bunk Room is our smallest room, and is accommodation for 3 adults. The bottom bunk is a double bed, suitable for two regular sized adults. The top bunk is a single bed, and has a strict weight limit of 150lbs. The room is very cool, decorated in some amazing sports autographed memorabilia and classic sexy posters. The Bunk Room shares a bath, shower and tub with another bedroom in the house. The bath has custom tile and wood work, heated stone tile floors, and a great shower head.
  • Great place had a good time!

  • What a wonderful visit. You will be blown away from the genuine kindness and hospitality of these delightful hosts! Their dog is sweet and fun to pet, and there is plenty of room to spread out. The breakfast spread is incredible, and they even have beer onsite if you run out! Book this place, it’s worth every penny.

  • Drop whatever you’re doing and book a night (or 10) with Jim and Michele! You’ll want to go to bed hungry, I promise, and then have Jim make you his blackberry pancake special for breakfast! That much I’ll give you! So many other pleasant and gracious surprises are in store from your hosts at Happy Rock.

  • Such a fun place to stay !!!!Jim and Michele are amazing hosts and terrific cooks. Can’t wait till we come up again to Portland. Will definitely stay again at the Happy Rock Inn.

  • Great place, I really enjoyed my stay.

    Renate2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great space and comfortable home, accurately described in the listing. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean, the backyard beautiful and the continental breakfast a nice touch. The special breakfast cooked by Jim is also superb! Jim and his wife were really friendly and full of interesting stories. My only complaints are that the map location listed on Airbnb does not take you to the right place (just typing the name into google works though) and it was cold inside (I do get cold easily).

You’ll love this beautiful, artsy 1924 home (that may have been a speakeasy at one time . . . ). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). 420 friendly :-)
Enjoy this charming 1924 home, beautifully and artfully furnished. We are just off Alberta Street in the fun and exciting Alberta Arts District, 100 steps from the Alberta Rose Theater.
The Alberta Arts District is historic, creative, and fun. Lots of good restaurants, bars, galleries, and shops within easy walking distance.
  • Don’t expect this to be a hotel. You’re there for the experience as a local. It’s like living in a dorm as you’re sharing with other people. House is nicely setup, lots of ways to step out. Best place to go eat or even chill at a pub.

  • At no time during my stay did I feel unwelcome. The location is great and the space was within walking distance from anything one would need.

    Steve2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • My arrival was delayed because the rentcar had a trouble and was replaced. Despite my arriving late, he greeted me gently. It was an old house, and I feel much fun to think of what Portland was like in this house built past. I imagined the children playing here and growing up. I wanted to stay a little longer. It was a short stay due to a problem with the car. I wanted to ask about Oregon 420 if I had time. Japan is finally at the stage where CBD has become known. I also make soap, so it was fun to see the soap ingredients.

A private bedroom with shared adjacent bath and shower. Artist-chef Manda offers European breakfasts based on her whim and the season. An optional specialty is designing custom menus for small groups in our dining room. Casa Ursa offers three listings. The EASTERN BDRM has queen bed, rocker, two (2) desks and SmartTV. The EASTERN “SUITE” allows the addition of a smaller double room adjoining the Eastern Bdrm to accommodate up to 4 people. A third option is the WESTERN BDRM, see listing.)
If you are renting the Eastern Suite, you will have the Eastern Bedroom plus an adjoining double room for more companions.
Our neighborhood is known as Boise-Eliot, but is more casually called the Mississippi district, after Mississippi Avenue where there is a collection of shops and restaurants, bars and music venues—a great street to stroll on. And along Williams Avenue also are many options for dining and shopping.
  • This was truly an extraordinary stay. Manda is such a sweet and helpful person and host. Her place is super clean, stylish and full of lovely details. The area is perfect to get to know "real" Portland aside from the usual tourism spots. We HIGHLY recommend Manda's Airbnb!

  • Manda had an absolutely beautiful home that was very well kept. Our room was very welcoming. Separate bathroom and sitting area for guests to use with kind touches such as wine. Breakfast in the morning was so delicious! We were able to walk to the Moda center to attend our concert. Manda was such a kind and gracious host! I would absolutely stay here again!

  • Great place to live and sweet room. Quiet and convenient location. The only thing need to be considered is the hot water in bathroom is not very good. You have to wait several minutes and the warm water only continues few minutes. The room is a little cold but Judy said there is a small heater in the room. Then much better. Totally, great room.

  • You just can’t get history and quality like this at a chain hotel, amazing craftsmanship in this sturdy lovely house. A few blocks from all and a short drive to downtown! Great customer service from Jody’s.

  • My mom and I stayed here for a brief trip to Portland and it was perfect! It’s a lovely, antiquated little inn, located within a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to many things! We walked to get coffee and the convention center! It was also super easy to find parking. Jody is a great host and was very helpful during our stay. Everywhere in the home is very spacious and well-lit. I’d definitely recommend this spot for a comfortable and quiet space to stay.

  • Icaro is a generous guy with deep knowledge of the region. His intention is the preservation of the intangible heritage of Ouro Preto and the experience he provides goes beyond expectation. I had visited Ouro Preto a few times but never had a perception of the city's environmental heritage. In addition, the cultural knowledge it conveys expands that idea of historical heritage we have. And to complete the experience ... we are still awarded a delicious sandwich !!!! I couldn't resist and asked for the recipe! Hahaha And again, kindly, he sent the step by step through Whatsapp.rs I very much recommend the experience to anyone who wants to broaden the vision of Ouro Preto. Thankful, Isabele

  • Icarus is very friendly, transmits a lot of passion and knowledge, very warmly and warmly welcomes the participants from the virtual contact to the experience in the smallest details. One of the best opportunities I've ever had. Going to Ouro Preto and not doing this tour with him is not going to Ouro Preto.

Welcome to Portland’s White House, one of the Rose City’s most luxurious and elegant historic homes that now houses a high-end bed & breakfast. Dating back to 1911 when it was originally built for wealthy lumber baron Robert Lytle and his family, the neoclassical mansion is situated in the heart of the exclusive Irvington neighborhood with lots of restaurants, shopping and public transportation within walking distance.
Portland’s White House was recently purchased and renovated by serial entrepreneurs Frank Groff and David Krause who count many historic landmarks among the properties they have owned and renovated. Their work has been featured in countless magazines, newspapers including the Los Angeles Times and on HGTV. The pair tapped leading Portland interior design firm Christopher-David to assist in the selection of furnishings that not only serve to highlight the home’s architectural details but with comfort in mind.
Portland’s White House is centrally located whether you are here on vacation or for business. Lloyd Center, the Convention Center and Moda Center are mere minutes away and the exciting downtown and Pearl districts are just over the bridge. The Japanese Gardens, Washington Park with its Rose Garden, Chinatown, Oregon Zoo, Mt. Hood, Timberline Lodge where “The Shining” was filmed and plenty of shopping on trendy NW 23 Ave, in downtown or on the Eastside’s North Mississippi and NE Alberta streets. Those who appreciate top-notch cuisine, fine wines, microbrews, and craft cocktails are in for a real treat as Portland boasts the greatest number of critically acclaimed restaurants, wineries, microbreweries and bars per capita than any other city in the nation. We also count scores of Food Network stars and James Beard award winners whose creativity has kept the city front and center on the epicurean scene.

  • The styling of this 1886 hose was beautiful and the room was well furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was a help yourself affair. Ellen, the host, was very responsive to communication and even contacted a neighbor to come and fix a problem when she could not be there. I would definitely stay there again.

  • Great place to stay.

  • Wonderful B&B on a quiet residential street yet convenient to all the things we wanted to do while in Portland. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was beautifully remodeled. The room had period touches without sacrificing comfort. The bed was like a cloud and we slept soundly every night. The breakfast was amazing each morning and left us not wanting to eat until dinner. I would stay here again and I would recommend to anyone traveling to Portland.

A private bedroom with shared adjacent bath and shower. Artist-chef Manda offers European breakfasts based on her whim and the season. An optional specialty is designing custom menus for small groups in our dining room. Casa Ursa offers three listings. The EASTERN BDRM has queen bed, rocker, two desks and SmartTV. The EASTERN “SUITE” option allows the addition of a smaller double room adjoining the Eastern Bdrm to accommodate up to 4 people. A third option is our WESTERN BDRM, see listing.
The Eastern Suite is perfect for two to four traveling companions.
Our neighborhood is known as Boise-Eliot, but is more casually called the Mississippi district, after Mississippi Avenue where there is a collection of shops and restaurants, bars and music venues—a great street to stroll on. And along Williams Avenue also are many options for dining and shopping.
  • Had a lovely stay at Manda’s. Close to Hawthorne and NE Alberta restaurants. The bedrooms were well lit and inviting- the bedding allowed us to rest and recharge well overnight. Sharing the bath wasn’t an issue at all. The butler’s room with a nice collection of books and electric kettle for tea was a wonderful touch. Breakfast was fresh fruit and some great bread. Definitely recommend!

  • Manda has a beautiful home! She is within walking distance to many places close to downtown Portland! We really enjoyed our stay here!

    Emily2019-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Manda’s place was organized, clean and comfortable to stay in. The neighborhood was quiet but not far from some of our favorite spots to eat or enjoy drinks. She was quick to communicate and gave all directions up front with no confusion whatsoever. I only wish we could’ve had more time to enjoy one of the delicious breakfasts she cooks. We will definitely attempt to stay here again.

    Natalie2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Breakfasts are amazing! Eggs are my favorite. Manda is friendly and a helpful local guide. Her home is beautiful and spotless. I don’t ever want to stay anywhere else! She makes it feel like your home away from home. I highly recommend a stay here.

    India2019-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • If you ever find yourself in Portland, this is a wonderful place to stay. It’s a beautiful home, very well appointed, and close to everything you’d want to be close to. I highly recommend it.

    Anthony2019-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Manda's place for a conference. There was easy access to downtown and the convention center (the bus stops are a block away). The place was clean, had all describe amenities, and wonderful art work on the walls. Manda was incredibly humble and sweet as she allowed us to cook taco dinner one night and gave us some pointers too! We had dinner with her and she shared with us her passion for art and cooking, and great pointers for places around the neighborhood to check out live music. I would definitely stay here again!

NOTE: NOT A TYPICAL AIRBNB LISTING! Happy Rock Inn is the coolest B & B in the Northwest. Nestled among tall pines, this lodge-style 6000 sq feet residence is decorated with Oregon, musical, sexy and amusing memorabilia. Musician, Dog, and 420 friendly, it's the perfect place to meet and party with others, relax or take advantage of our themed weekends. Enjoy our great farm-fresh food, a beer, wine or bud (or all of the above) on the sunset deck, our party pit, or our 44 feet of good timin' bar.
AirBNB doesn’t know how to treat a listing like us. We don’t just give you a room, we give you a memory – just read our reviews. Our place is different – from check-in to check-out, we wanted to give guests the kind of memories they couldn’t get anywhere else. The Valley View Room is our 2nd guest room, and comes with perhaps the most comfortable bed in the house. Decorated with Oregon historic and winter memorabilia, it's got a large tv with Roku, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and a great movie collection (including some spicy ones!) It's got a full closet, plenty of storage space for your clothes, and a cush Persian rug. This room shares a common bathroom, tub and shower with another guest room.
  • Clean, Safe and Comfortable are the top notes. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing place to lay their head and looking for extreme hospitality.

    Asher2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at Jim's place. The cushy mattress was a highlight :) We were offered the choice of a simple breakfast, or a great one for a reasonable charge. We had lots of fun chatting with both hosts and guests and the local suggestions were very valuable.

    Michael2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent stay! Jim and Michelle were exceptional hosts who met any requests we had. Jim gave us some awesome recommendations of things to do in the area. He went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time in the Portland area. The neighborhood was quiet, the room was lovely, and the bed was so comfortable! We felt so well rested and ready for another day of adventures and exploring. Their yard is beautiful and great for dogs. It was very easy to have our dog stay there with us. Jim and Michelle will really make your stay individualized and special. We have already started planning another trip to Oregon and would definitely stay here again.

    Melissa2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a beautiful place with fantastic hosts, this is the place! From the minute you arrive, it is evident that Jim and Michele love what they do. You feel like you are wanted and like you are at home. The extra special touches they provide, like fresh flowers in the room and little gifts for the guests show their passion for hosting. They are great conversationalists and great entertainers. Don't be surprised if you end up singing around the campfire as Jim plays the guitar.

  • We booked the room super last min and the host was super quick to respond and the check in process was easy. The Airbnb was close to a lot of restaurants and cafes which was all within walking distance.

  • Stelhen's place met my needs exactly. He responded almost immediately to my reservation request and guided me through a late check in process. The accomodation was sparkling clean with the most impotant thing...a comfortable bed. The kitchen was stocked with oatmeal, cereals, milk, juice, bread, butter, coffer and tea. What more could one ask for. Hope to return again when I have time to explore the neighborhood. So much within walking distance including public transportation. This will be my go to Portland place.
