“A Farm and Sea to Table that is the BEST restaurant in the area. You can expect to see more than delicious oysters on the menu. The Oyster Club boasts only the freshest of the fresh ingredients, bar and oyster bar, with the menu changing daily. The Oyster Club has an historic industrial appearance and loads of Mystic ambiance. DAILY Happy Hour in the bar and patio from 4-6 PM. You will need reservations in advance of your stay. Don't miss dining here! During the Summer months they do have an outdoor space with a more casual menu call The Treehouse which is a lovely option too. ”

“Rudy's was relocated and revamped after 75 years of being the best dive bar in town. The new location is cleaner, has better interior design, and an expanded menu, but the fact that it is no longer a dive bar is also a disappointment to many. I don't go here for the service, the food, or the cocktails. I come here for the decent-to-good beer selection, a baseball game on the TV (note, this is NOT a sports bar and the TVs are not invasive) and the company. So this bar may not be the bar for you, but I'm recommending it for those special bar flies out there that don't want anything too fancy and enjoy other bar flies. Don't go on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday nights when they have karaoke/DJs.”

“The menu hasn’t changed in forever, and many of us who’ve been coming here for years are kind of over it by now, but there isn’t a better location for patio dining than Fort Pond at Harvest. It’s a good choice for the family or a big group of friends, just be sure to bring bug spray and some bread to feed the enormous fish by the dock. Our go-to’s here are the mussels, the calamari salad, and the skirt steak.”

“Great casual taco spot with authentic taqueria style food. They're opening a bar next door summer 2019, which would be worthwhile checking out too.”

“The best bread in New Haven! This great cafe/bookstore has been in New Haven for decades. It is in the ground floor of the British Art Museum which makes for a nice combination of activities on a rainy day. The British Art Museum is free also!”

“Navy Beach is Montauk’s ultimate sunset and cocktail-sipping spot. The location has wall-to-wall windows and cabana-like seating along the restaurant’s private beach. After a five-minute taxi ride from the town center you can have your feet in the sand and a cucumber fizz or blood orange piscine in hand. ”
