Resort
“Don’t miss the Broadmoor Hotel and Resort! Enjoy the beautiful lobby, stop by the library, then say hello to the swans. These lavish grounds have seen famous visitors for around 100 years, and you can see their photos in the hallways of the west building on the south end near the bowling alley (not your Uncle Jim’s bowling alley). Just past the Broadmoor is the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, a fabulous zoo built into the hillside. ”

“I’m not actually sure how to pronounce Boonzaaijer’s, but it doesn’t stop me from loving it. It’s a Dutch bakery with everything delicious you can begin to imagine: cakes, cookies, cream puffs, meringues, stroopwafels… let’s just say that if you’re not supposed to be having European pastries, you should steer clear of this little gem. ”
