“One of the premier spots along the Appalachian Trail, grassy null at about 5,000 ft with a 360* view! Only a short walk, 10- 15 min. from parking area! Less traveled without the crowds and traffic. This is in the National Forest and pets are allowed!”

“Hikers must go here. It's one of the AT highlights. Allow a full day if possible. One of my favorite places to hike. Very windy usually. Bring a kite! It's a huge "bald". Gorgeous. ”
