This was a great place. True to the description. The bed was very comfortable, it was very clean, cute, nicely decorated, there were plenty of towels, shampoos, etc. Travis and David were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, and checked in on us throughout the stay. It is blocks away from a great park that houses the conservatory, art museum and play house. Centrally located with short drives to downtown and several cool neighborhoods -particularly OTR and great food options. It is a third story apartment, so if you have trouble with stairs might not be the spot for you. I would wholeheartedly recommend and would definitely return.

I purchased this location to give my sister a little mini vacation, and was not disappointed. My sister was very impressed with the location, and greatly enjoyed her time with the hosts. She reported that the hosts were very polite, accommodating, and charismatic, yet were not intrusive. She was very impressed by the location and fell in love with the charm of it.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Where do I start? I have been to many Airbnb places from California to Florida to New York many run by professionals. Jonathan and Amy's place takes the cake. 1. Convenience: Very nice pocket of residential neighborhood with plenty of parking spaces. It was very convenient check-in process with a key in a combination lock in a separate entrance to the house. Once I walked in, immediately I noticed very VERY clean room with two beds. Simple yet so well decorated. (Later found out Jonathan is a composer and Amy is an artist. Makes sense.) 2. Details Details Details: Soon after I got comfortable in the room, I started to notice all of the details that really blew my mind: welcome message with wifi info on the table. clean cups/dishes/bowls/forks. Coffee. Fridge stocked with water / almond milk / soda. Basket of cute cereal boxes. Microwave. TV with ready HDMI. Immaculate bathroom with toiletry supplies. Extra blankets. Multiple space heaters. What have they not thought of? It made me want to start paying rent and live there. 3. Hospitality: Jonathan and Amy heard me coming in and poked in to say hi to make sure everything was well provided and I immediately could tell they were very friendly and nice. I am very glad this trip allowed me to meet Jonathan and Amy.

My family and I were only passing through Cincinnati on our way home to Orlando, but Jonathan's was a great place to call home for the night. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with water, soda, and milk for cereal. They also had a list their favorite restaurants and places in the city which was very helpful. The space was perfect for our family to relax and the neighborhood felt save.

We were in town for my sister's wedding. Our stay was great. The room was quiet and isolated from the rest of the house. Arriving and leaving was simple and our hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Dirk is a very open and respectful host. He is quietly engaging, willing to show his guest the town, and an all around friendly and honest person. His building is perfectly located for getting about Cincinnati on foot or by car. I felt perfectly safe in this seemingly in transition neighborhood. The several neighbors I met, by way of saying, "Good Morning; Pleasant Day, isn't it?", I found to be quite social/friendly. The building and neighborhood are quiet at night and early morning. There is green space for taking in the night sky or the morning sunrise. Dirk aptly admits in his description that the apartment in this older building is undergoing renovation. The bathroom's sheet rock is the major room being redone. That said, the loo is more than functional: it is tidy and has good natural light. The guest bedroom was quite comfortable and set up to accommodate guests who just need some down time. The public spaces in the apartment-kitchen and living room/dining room-are comfortable too. Dirk's photos accurately depict the living room space. The kitchen is quite comfortably laid-out to cook in, if you were so inclined. I am very glad to have stayed with Dirk. And sorry not to have had more time to get to know him and his friend better during my stay. I would definitely book this place again(URL HIDDEN)

Denise was great. We arrived later than I expected and then I wasn't sure about the key (my fault). Denise answered my question immediately and got us in and settled. House was very clean and Denise provided lots of little extras. Don't hesitate to book her place!

My husband and I stayed at Denise's house when we went to watch the Cubs play the Reds. We didn't know the area and wanted something somewhat central, safe, and affordable. Our time in Denise's home was wonderful from check-in to check-out. She was clear and responsive in all communication and even has notes throughout the house that are helpful. It is an older home, but immaculately clean. The neighborhood is busy, but we always felt safe. The off street parking is a plus! Denise goes above and beyond to ensure guests have what they need to include the nice touch of juice and eggs in the fridge, as well as coffee for the coffee pot! Her first aid kit came in handy when we unexpectedly needed a band-aid as well, and there were more touches of home than I can even list. Note that there are single beds, but that is clear in the posting, and not the biggest factor for many. I would definitely stay here again simply because she creates such a comfortable and welcoming space and because of where it is located.

Denise's' home was lovely. Close to both UC, OTR, and downtown. Uber was not more than 7$ to Vine St (not sure about surge pricing). Very affordable, clean and comfortable stay. Safe neighborhood and overall relaxing experience. Denise provided very nice amenities and greeted us upon our arrival. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful! Denise welcomed me graciously into her home. Everything was as described and exceeded all my expectations. Location is superb, off a quiet side street but within minutes of UC and downtown. Off street parking was amazing. Apartment was beyond clean. Eggs, bread, butter, jam, orange juice, and water provided the perfect breakfast to start my day. Denise provided a true home away from home!

Denise's house was a great choice! We went to Cincinnati to visit campus and go downtown and it was in walking distance to campus and a few minute highway drive downtown. The house was really pretty and very clean! We felt at home here. The communication was great! Denise was just a text away whenever we had a question and she took the time out to ask us about our stay once we left, which was really thoughtful. We'd definitely stay again!

We're from out of town and needed a place to crash late after a concert. Ben's instructions about location and check-in were very straight forward, and we had no trouble getting to our room even late at night. The apartment was delightful and welcoming - we enjoyed a lovely stay!

Marvelous experience Great family dinners Hot and Tasty food cooked keeping the food preferences of family. Snacks, water, fruits all the time. Above all Host is taking care any additional needs as much as possible like a family. Any time I am in Cincinnati I will try to get accommodation here Which is very difficult.

Renee's place was great! Super clean, easy access (via driving) to the rest of Cincinatti, and the dedicated side entrance was very convenient for coming and going -- especially since we were getting up early to run a half-marathon. Communication was easy and she thought of everything we might need. The northside seems like a nice and fun area to explore.

Renée's room is on the second floor of a turn-of-the-20th century house in Northside, a lively, hip neighborhood in Cincinnati that I know very well because I lived there for 17 years myself. The room is spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed, with an extraordinarily comfortable bed and thoughtful extra touches including snacks, a refrigerator stocked with juice and filtered water, coffee and tea and a coffeemaker. The house is located in a very quiet part of the neighborhood and is itself quiet, but shopping, restaurants, and nightlife are just a three-minute drive away. Renée is an excellent host; she's highly responsive but unobtrusive. Although the bathroom is shared, she uses it infrequently so it is nearly private. I'm very much looking forward to my next stay here.

The bohemian apt had a great vibe. Very clean and cozy. If the weather was better we could have had a small fire outback in the pit. Mike and Cade responded immediately and had even apologized for the current construction on the street (even though that's obviously something out of anybody's control) I would recommend this space to anybody that would like an easy walk to plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and art galleries.

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. Although we had a busy weekend in Cincinnati, we also enjoyed some time just lounging around. Mike and Cade have really provided a great spot to relax. It was really easy to walk to the hot spots in Over-the-Rhine and other surrounding areas - Vine St and Findlay Market are 10 minute walks, tops, and you can easily walk down to the riverfront in 15-20 minutes. We also had a really easy time getting an Uber within minutes and getting wherever we wanted to go in the city for $6-$12.

Second time staying in this gem - loved it as much as the first! On an adorable street in great location. Couldn't imagine a better spot.

Great place. Convenient to ballpark and zoo, our main reasons for being there. Comfortable and spacious and nicely stocked with tea and oatmeal,etc. Neighborhood seemed quiet while we were there. Check in was easy and as described in email. Very prompt with responses to questions. Will stay there again if we get to come back to Cincinnati.

This location fit our needs perfectly. It was very well located. Being from out of town I didn't realize how close this place is to everything. You can easily walk to UC and drive or uber to down town or OTR. The host was extremely welcoming and considerate. There were several thoughtful things she left in the apartment (games, city guide books, movies) that made or stay very comfortable. Having a full kitchen with pots, pans, and dishes was an awesome convenience. We brought our dogs with us and I can't tell you how appreciative I was that they allow large dogs to stay in the unit. Finding a place that doesn't charge a ton of money for your pets to stay with you is sometimes impossible. I would highly recommend this location.

I had a relaxing time here. I didn't get to meet Samantha, but I met Joe, and they responded very quickly to my inquiries. It was easy to get around from here. The apartment is in a college neighborhood, so there are a lot of restaurants a five minute stroll away.

I got a spacious one bedroom apartment all to myself, with private bath, full kitchen. The bedroom is large with a couch and a beautifully draped queen bed. This area is close to the University so it has a college town vibe. The place is close to a street with hip restaurants. The info provided by the host was very detailed.
