Compact coach house apartment in Little Italy with private entrance, mid-century furnishings & modern amenities. Well-equipped kitchen. 2 queen-sized beds & 1 comfortable queen-sized pullout sofa. Within 3 blocks of hospitals, restaurants and transportation.
Welcome to Polk Street Guest House: a well-appointed, completely private, 2-bedroom carriage house in Little Italy near the Medical District. Decorated with mid-century antiques and paintings, our 2nd floor coach house apartment is perfect for guests looking for a home-away-from-home. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, teak furnishings, comfortable queen size beds, and a private entrance accessible though a side gate from the street. For folks with kids, please note there is no child gate near the top of the stairs. We do, however, have a play crib for children under 2 years. Enjoy quiet parks and have easy access to all of Chicago. Major hospitals at Rush, University of Illinois, Hines, VA and Stroger are within 3 to 6 blocks. Chicago's elevated pink line train is 2 blocks away; the Blue line is 3 blocks. Take a quick cab ride to “the loop" downtown for $10, or take a Divvy bike. Chicago's famed Little Italy restaurants on Taylor Street are a block South. Free street parking with 24-hour zoned pass. Your hosts: Ken & Curt
We are in the fabulous tree-lined Little Italy neighborhood, close to many restaurants of all price ranges: Rosebud, Pompeii Bakery, Mia Francesca and Davanti Enoteca are a few of the renowned establishments, and there are at least 20 more up and down Taylor Street. Curt loves Rosebud (classic Italian and just a block away). Ken loves Taj Mahal (Indian). Don't miss Mario's Italian Ice further east on Taylor when it's open during the summer (be prepared for a line). Go for a stroll in Garibaldi Park, which is just steps away, or go a block to the east for beautiful Arrigo Park. There is convenience store (one block south to Taylor Street and a half-a-block west) and a Jewel supermarket one-half mile south. The Medical District begins just one block to the west. Several hospitals are within a few blocks walking distance including Rush, University of Illinois, Stroger, and Hines VA. The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) main campus is a half-mile to the east. Union Station near "The Loop" in downtown Chicago is a mile-and-a-half away. Millennium Park with “The Bean" the Art Institute and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion is two-and-a-half miles away.
  • We will definitely be staying at the coach house again. Curt and ken were above and beyond accommodating and friendly

  • Ken and Curt are incredibly gracious hosts. They made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The coach house is extremely well equipped with all the necessities, as well as many luxuries. It's a beautiful space that was like an oasis in the city. I hope to stay with them again when I return to Chicago.

  • The Coach House was a wonderful experience and really began to feel like home after a few weeks. Ken and Curt went out of their way to make me feel welcomed during my stay. The location of the property was incredible, with Taylor Street only a block away, Wicker Park and other trendy neighborhoods a short uber ride away, and the pink and blue lines into the city just down the street. The amenities provided at the location made traveling a breeze, especially the Nespresso pods that got me through my days at Rush! Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Coach House and I'll be returning soon!

  • I went to Chicago with my friends on Feb 5 for a holiday. We got there a bit early and Ken was there to welcome us and show how all the things work. The place is very nice and private. It's very easy to get the public transportation to downtown. Everything is just perfect and we enjoy spending our time at Ken's place.

  • The Coach House was an amazing place to stay for the weekend. It has everything you would need or expect plus the added pleasure of Ken and Curt as your very accommodating hosts. We parked our car on Thursday afternoon and didn't use it again until we left Sunday afternoon. You can walk to many fabulous restaurants and enjoy the beautiful neighborhood as you go. We would not hesitate to book again in the future!

  • Polk Street Coach house is fantastic. It is in a great location (Little Italy), with easy access to the metro station. The apartment is well-equipped and had all the necessities of home and then some.

Welcome to "AirBnBEATLES"! * Please read my entire profile to get the best experience out of your stay. . Safe, quiet neighborhood with public transportation right at your doorstep. . 20 min to downtown /35 min train ride direct to O'Hare Airport. . Nightlife & restaurants within two blocks in any direction. . Courtyard gardens all housed in a creative, Beatles themed friendly environment. . Great for couples, creative artists, touring musicians & traveling Wilburys.
My place is a coach house, which is a stand alone brick building set back from the street. The bedrooms are upstairs so you will need to climb a short flight of stairs to get to your room. The place is safe and comfy, with lots of Beatles collectibles all around & plenty of music. Please note that I am in the process of renovating the house. Your stay at AirBnBeatles helps to offset the costs of renovation while the upgrades to the place continuously unfold . As for what happens OUTSIDE the coach house, we're in the middle of Chicago's cultural universe here. Free parking out front & on neighboring streets. It is a relatively quiet community of young professionals. Perfect for festival travelers , touring musicians, visiting couples, traveling novelists, business excursions or if you are between apartments or closing on a new home & need temp housing. Public trans and young adult nightlife just blocks from your door. I have a great affinity for The Beatles and whether you have a casual appreciation for The Fab Four or you're obsessed with every album, film, movie or Beatles concert a splendid time is guaranteed for all when you stay here. Cheers!
Logan Square is one of the friendliest and booming neighborhoods in Chicago with plenty of nightlife options on every corner. The Beatle house is within two blocks of Revolution Brewery, Logan Bar, Cole's, The Boiler Room and a host of other hot spots (and if you're not having 'Breakfast With The Beatles' at the coach house, you can head a block south to the much loved Cozy Corner Diner for pancakes, skillets, bacon and eggs). I'm just a few blocks from The Logan Theater, a restored vintage movie theater and comedy showcase room with it's own bar , and on the corner from the theater there's no "banker with a motorcar", but you will see an actual barber shop called Penny Lane : )
  • Stayed at Eric's airbnb for a Pearl Jam concert and would definitely come back. This was our first airbnb experience and it was good. Eric greeted us with Pearl Jam playing a Beatles song in the background. The Beatles theme was very cool. Eric offered lots of great advice on where to eat and go for refreshments. He was excellent with communication via email and and text. Thanks Eric for a great experience!

    Shaun2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • I love finding hidden treasures. Eric's Beatles home was cozy and comfortable. Eric was very knowledgable on the area and gave great recommendations on restaurants and bars. The Beatles sleep album was perfect for falling asleep quickly and staying asleep. I highly recommend this AirBnBEATLES

    Sarah2018-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • I'm Thrilled thinking of the next time after having Eric as my first experience with Airbandb. Not only is the guy just too cool, he was born to be a host. He's place is an artist's den, and little did I know I was getting more than a room. He had treats in my room, space for me in his kitchen cabinets and refrigerator, a laundry room and even detergent all included. I found a home away from home in Chicago. Until next time Eric, thank you so much for your hospitality!

    Francisco2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • Eric was great, super fun, interesting and helped make our stay much more enjoyable. His place is exactly as described, Beatles stuff everywhere! We share a deep obsession with music and the Beatles, and the fact that we are both traveling musicians made it the perfect fit for us. We felt right at home and immediately comfortable there. Most of our activities took place in Logan Square, so it was such a nice location to be in. There's a lot to do right where he lives and everything is within walking distance. The street is pretty busy, but we had no problems finding parking right by his place on the side of the street. We hung out with him all night listening to music, drinking beer (which he provided) and talking. Pretty great experience! He's genuine, honest and will give you as much space as needed. He asked a few times if there was anything else that would make our stay better, letting us know he cares about improving and making it the best for guests. He kept in great communication as well, so we never felt abandoned. I highly recommend for traveling musicians or anyone else who would enjoy this cool spot in Logan Square.

    Joel2016-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Eric was simply outstanding in everything he did to ensure my stay was comfortable. He agreed for an early check-in, late check-out, advised me on how to reach his house by public transport etc. It was unbelievably hot those 3 days in Chicago for that time of the year and Eric ensured that the AC was switched on well in advance to cool-up the room. Well, everything in the house will make you think about Beatles and again here, Eric has very thoughtfully planned on what should be presented to the guests. The house, room & bathroom were immaculately clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Cannot complain on anything. I would without a shadow of doubt come back and stay at Eric's place if available next time and hopefully in the bigger room, which he is planning to get ready soon. All the best, Eric.

  • Charming coach house in an interesting neighborhood. Very nice guy who really enjoys his Airbnb gig and goes out of his way to make it a memorable experience.

  • The scale in the bathroom is set to kilograms. Thats how dedicated he is to the Beatles theme. But seriously, the location is dope and he is a great host.

Stairs lead up to a spacious, sunny, private living space, separate and peaceful- an oasis in the city on a quiet side street. Many public transit options to downtown Chicago or Evanston. Walk to Andersonville shopping district.
We have a sunny coach house that was once an artist loft. Beams in the ceiling, skylights, cozy seating area and kitchen with a barstool counter and built in over the stairs. Your space is on the second floor in a separate building in the rear of our property, quiet and private.
Edgewater in Chicago is on the far north side of the city, an ethnically diverse neighborhood
  • Scott's neighborhood was really lovely, pretty houses on a pretty street. Very easy to find and within walking distance from the train station. Scott was really welcoming, made sure I could find my way easily by providing directions, even meeting me part way when I got off the train to walk me to his house. When he learned that my friend and I had a long, crappy day of travel, they gifted us a bottle of wine (which we unfortunately did not get around to drinking). His lovely wife, Jill, even let us use her hairdryer (we were trying to get ready for a wedding)! They gave us ideas for close-by restaurants and places to walk around. The coach house was just as described on the listing--really cozy and equipped to cook a meal, with eggs and butter in the fridge! Scott and his wife were really lovely folks, quick to respond to any questions. My friend and I didn't have much time to relax and hang out, but I'd highly recommend this place. Great space, great location, great hosts!

    Eileigh2015-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • I feel like home when renting out the place. I should recommended to anyone that need a place to stay.

    Hugo2016-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • We were nervous about having to cancel some of our trip adventures due to extreme cold, but the coach house was the perfect place to stay warm! (Really though, there are heaters all along the perimeter of the attic!) All of our needs were met and all of our expectations exceeded!

  • The Apartment is a little treasure right in Chicago. We had a lot of privacy & the apartment is so cute. We liked Scott a lot he is a great host & always there if u have questions. It was a great stay

  • This place is the best. Spotlessly clean, cozy and felt like home.

    Liz2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Scott was a very welcoming host. The house was spacious, clean, and well-stocked. It was easy to find a parking spot near the house. Everything was perfect.

    Minjee2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Scott and Jill's Cozy Coach house was absolutely incredible! So clean with all the knick knacks we would need. Fridge was stocked with breakfast items for a quick fix and enough towels and linens! Communication was incredible, check in/check out was a breeze and both Scott and Jill made us feel at home and they're just easy going people to talk to as well! Close to public transport stops and good location for Uber/taxis as well. Couldn't have asked for a better stay, thanks you Scott and Jill!

Tucked between historic facades on a tree-lined street in Chicago’s tony Bucktown neighborhood, the Cortland Coach House fuses the spirit of its bohemian surroundings with a playfully simple design aesthetic. The feel is modern yet warm, hip but not haughty.
This spacious apartment includes two bedrooms, a living room, bath, and full kitchen with a dining table. The unit accommodates four guests with two comfy Queen size beds with additional sleeping space on the living room couch.
You will have no shortage of great food and coffee options here. Though you can find great food on just about every corner in Chicago, here are some of our favorite gems in no particular order: Map Room, En Hakkore Bibimbap & Taco, and Small Cheval.
  • Chris’s place is fantastic! Cleaning, stylish, in an excellent location, and with great recommendations!Catching the blue line into town was a breeze! I would recommend this place to anyone and plan on staying there often when we visit Chicago!

    Connie2018-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Truly one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had! Such a great place, modern, two bedrooms, washer and dryer, immaculately clean! Zencity was unbelievably fast with their responses. Also delicious trader joe snacks available! One thing to note is the floors are very creaky when walking, but that's more of a concern for someone who might be walking around very late at night for how it'd affect the tenants on the first floor! :) What a wonderful stay, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future!

    Susanna2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nice appartment with all the appliances you'd need..walls are a little thin though and Chris got pretty rude when we checked out 45 mins late! (Having let him know in advance we were a little late waking up!)

    Jimmy2018-01-09T00:00:00Z

  • Overall great place to stay

    Alfonso2018-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Chris’ place was perfect for a week in Chicago. Close to many places to eat and hangout, easily accessible to public transportation, plenty of parking and a cozy space to relax in at the end of the day. The area is a perfect mix of quiet, but not devoid of things to do just blocks away. We felt immediately at home and would love to stay again.

    Cynthia2018-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in a great area in Chicago. Half way from Downtown and funny areas like Wicker Park/Logan Square. Amenities are above average and you'll feel welcome right off the bat. Great responsiveness of the host.

Welcome to Chicago! Our place is very close to the blue line Western stop (direct line from O'Hare) and just off I-94 for any drivers. For local food, my all-time favorite coffee shop Ipsento is a 3 minute walk away along with great Mexican, Thai and Cuban restaurants.
This is technically our basement but has its own entrance in the back of our house (see photos). One extra quirk is that the entrance opens to the second bedroom ;) The door leading to the main house is an emergency exit only.
Walgreens is one block up the street in case you need any last minute items!
  • This place was wonderful! It's beautiful inside. Good location and good hosts.

    Anna2017-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay with fireplace to relax. I recommend people to pick this place.

    Tajhya2017-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Liz and Mike's place was the perfect home base for my small group on our trip to Chicago. The apartment itself looked even bigger in person and the beds were super comfy. There are tons of fun places to eat along Milwaukie Ave, which is just steps away from the house, and the blue line to downtown is just a few blocks away. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

    Lindy2017-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Liz & Mike have a beautiful and fresh basement apartment and were quick with communication. The location is accessible and instructions were clear. Foosball table was a big plus for kids and adults in our group :)

  • Liz &a Mike's place was super nice and made my stay in Chicago incredibly easy and convenient - close to everything. Check in/out was easy, felt like I was staying in my own apartment for the weekend!

    Brooke2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • Liz and Mike are such great hosts, from accommodating us on an earlier check in, great and fast responses on anything we needed to the cleanliness and coziness of their place which is also spacey and very comfortable. Great location as well near by a fun strip with restaurants and shops! Thank you so much! Xo K

This unique home is a modern urban oasis with easy access to rail, bus, and expressways. Logan Square offers tremendous culinary choices from hipster cafes to Michelin rated restaurants. Walk 3 blocks to the Blue Line between O'hare & Downtown Loop.
Enter on the first floor, where you'll find a bedroom with a queen-size memory foam mattress, comfortable seating, and a Samsung 40" TV. This floor offers a bathroom with dual shower heads and personal wall jets for a soothing and enjoyable shower. Walk up to the second level and find a well appointed kitchen with treats from the host, including Keurig easy-to-brew single-cup coffee drinks. This floor offers a gathering place with lots of natural light and a new queen-size sofa sleeper which can be opened to sleep two. New for 2018 is a Bose SoundTouch sound system, allowing guests to play their own music from most Bluetooth mobile devices--you can stream from your favorite music sources. This Bose system is also connected to the larger Samsung TV on this floor. The top level is the master suite with a queen-size bed and bath, away from the lower floors, rewarding guests with privacy from their traveling partners and a tranquil place. These top two floors look out to green Haas Park where children and adults play all year long.
Logan Boulevard is less than two short blocks down Washtenaw, where people walk, run, and gather all year long. Within two blocks of the Logan Square coach house is a concentration of restaurants at California Avenue and Logan Boulevard, offering Italian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Mexican, and American cuisines. The Starbucks has a beautiful outdoor space and is a central meeting place for residents and guests alike. A two-plus block walk in a slightly different direction brings you to Milwaukee Avenue, which offers many more eating and drinking options, music stores, art studios and galleries, dry cleaners, clothiers, a combination first-run and art-house movie theatre, book stores, food markets (gourmet, co-operative, ethnic, and mainstream), and just-about everything you can imagine including eclectic retail with discount dollar stores and second-hand resale shops. If you like coffee and pastries, there are abundant cafes in the area. Chicago also offers many beer microbreweries, and Logan Square is the epicenter of that industry.
  • The Logan Square neighborhood is very safe, close to Transportation, and restaurants. Our host greeted us upon arrival. We were also provided with bagels cream cheese fresh fruit orange juice and K-Cups for his coffee maker.

    Charles2016-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for our needs. Immaculate. Top of the line appliances. Great televisions on all 3 levels. Trendy and fun neighborhood with great restaurants. Comfy beds. We travel to Chicago for business several times a year...and this makes it so much more comfortable. Downtown is ok, but the Logan Square and Wicker Park areas are a refreshing change. The value over a hotel....and parking....just no comparison. We will stay again. Highly recommend. Save money AND experience ones of the trendiest and must fun areas.

    Janelle2017-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • Clyde's place was wonderful. My friend and I drove down to Chicago from Minneapolis for a couple of cultural events. Check-in, parking, and communication were smooth and easy. The house was clean and fun, and was a pleasure to come back to after long days exploring the city. We relied on public transportation to get around, and the location couldn't have better. Thanks for a great stay, Clyde!

    Will2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Clyde's place is a pleasant and quiet home right next to the bustle and vibrance of Milwaukee Ave. and Logan Square. There are great spots nearby or just a short train ride away. And after tiresome, daylong strolls through Chicago, you get to come back to a cozy home with everything you need to rest up for another day in this fantastic city. We definetly recommend!

    Guilherme2017-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place itself was very nice and extremely clean, but a little farther than we would have liked from Midway airport and the city. It took us over an hour to get to the house from the airport, and about 30 minutes to get downtown. There is a park right next to the house, so it can get noisy in the morning. There is also a very bright light in the park at night which, even with the shades closed, made it difficult to fall asleep. We had an issue with running out of hot water one of the nights, but Clyde was very quick to respond that it was not a normal occurrence, and that the hot water heater only had a 40 gallon capacity. Overall, Clyde was a great host, providing complimentary coffee and cream as well as storage for our luggage after we checked out. Because this was our first trip to Chicago, it would have been better for our family to stay closer to the downtown area, but that takes nothing away from the cleanliness, amenities and overall value of this location.

    Kimberly2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Clyde was easy to communicate with and the home was even nicer than in the pictures. Really clean too. Would stay again!

    Tammy2017-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful condo! Very clean. Met our needs perfectly.

    Sara2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • The place is beautiful in the pictures and even better in person. The showers were great and the beds comfortable. I love that almost all the lights had dimmers. Made it easy to see without being annoying in the middle of the night. We stayed upstairs and our friend stayed downstairs and we never heard each other. It's within walking distance to several restaurants and bars. We felt very safe walking around. The blue line (California) is just a couple blocks away. Check in and check out was a breeze. Clyde was great to work with. We will definitely be staying here again.

  • My wife and I’d experience at Susan and Rob’s was quite honestly, a better experience than anything you could possibly find. The space was perfectly cleaned, in a great and quiet location and was very cozy and felt like a home away from home. We loved it! Highly recommend and we’ll for sure be back whenever back in the Chicago area!

  • Susan & Rob have an incredible little spot with the best location. The neighborhood is safe, close to SOX stadium, and has a bunch of wonderful restaurants. They were extremely nice and thoughtful with their accommodations and amenities. Anything I needed, they both were eager and willing to provide. I also must say that they respected privacy, and exceeded my expectations as hosts. Staying here made my experience in Chicago so worth it! Thank you both!

Located in the Ridgeland Historic District of Oak Park, the Kelley Coach House is an updated twist on a 1914 era two story cottage. Free parking, high speed wireless, washer/dryer, dishwasher, walk in closet and upstairs porch are among its features. We hope you'll make the Kelley Coach House your home away from home!
On the first floor, you'll find a rehabbed kitchen stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware and appliances. Off the kitchen is the formal dining room featuring stained glass windows as well as a half bath and washer/dryer. The living room focuses on a decorative fireplace. Upstairs are two bedrooms with queen sized memory foam beds, walk in closet, full bath, work station and porch.
The coach house is less than a 15-minute walk south to the Oak Park Arts District, a vibrant area where one can find restaurants, coffee and small shops. If you head north on Ridgeland Ave. on a Saturday morning, you'll find the Oak Park farmer's market just west of the intersection of Ridgeland and Lake Street.
  • Susan was an exceptional host! She was quick to respond to questions and the coach house was clean and stylish. Full kitchen with fresh fruit, granola bars and a bottle of wine were a nice touch. Free parking onsite was also a nice perk. Will stay again as my schedule allows!

  • Great host, the place was great.

    Alex2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • We all really loved the coach house. It was a great place to stay in Oak Park. Huge kitchen and overall really nice large space. The extra touches like milk, eggs, beer, really nice linens and towels just made the space feel like home.

  • This was an amazing place to stay! I've read through the 50 other reviews and every one of them are accurate. We were very pleasantly suprised by the amount of detail that was put into our stay there. Susan was quick to respond with the suggestion to the market nearby which was stellar in itself. Nice neighborhood, easy to get to, beautiful spacious cottage and a thoughtful host. What more can you ask for?

    Tamara2018-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful house with everything you need. The house feels so cozy, the decoration is great, everything was auper clean, and we love the details (such as having snacks and basic breakfast stuff). The house has a baby gate available, washer and dryer, and big spaces to ran and play. Thank you

    Javiera2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place was super clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to get away after a long day in the city. We had a friend coming in from a nearby state, so it was super useful that we were also provided a parking space.

    Janny2018-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is an exceptional value for a space that is well kept, with all new appliances and fixtures and thoughtfully appointed. We attended a concert at United Center, which was a short LYFT ride away for only $15. We highly recommend Kelley Coach House!

This vacation themed getaway in the city has wifi, a full kitchen, and plenty of room for 2 guests. 1/2 mile walk to Starbucks/restaurants in Logan Square as well as convenient access to 94. Central air and AC make for a comfortable stay year round
We lived in Hawaii for a little while, and hopefully that comes across with a relaxing vacation vibe.
You will be staying at the intersection of all our favorite Chicago neighborhoods, which will make traveling to shopping and restaurants a breeze. Located where Logan Square, Bucktown, Lake View, and Avondale all meet, but on a quiet street in a family neighborhood, it is the perfect place to be close to everything while also feeling at ease.
  • We are what is politely referred to as "active seniors"! Our first airbnb experience was very positive. Jonah, our host, was very easy to communicate with. The apartment was just as pictured and so much more comfortable than the tiny hotel rooms we are used to booking when visiting our kids. The internet connection was fast and reliable and the A/C kept us very cool. The entrance to the apartment was well lit for late night returns and parking was never a problem. We enjoyed the location near Logan Square and would not hesitate to stay here again.

    Sid2015-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jonah was very responsive and incredibly welcoming. As for the place itself, we couldn't have asked for a better deal! The house was clean and comfortable and had every accommodation one might need for an extended stay in Chicago. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and was home to plenty of great restaurants. I would absolutely love to stay again.

    Patrick2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Jonah is a great host and his home is located close to great Northside neighborhoods and downtown Chicago

    Lathan2016-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • This cute apartment is comfortable, convenient, and safe. The neighborhood is lovely, and it is close to transit. Staying here is not only economical, but provides the chance to experience Chicago like a local. I highly recommend this place!

    Chris2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the cottage. Jonah was great to work with and answered our questions promptly.

    Jennifer2015-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • This carriage house was perfect for my work trip. On a street where I never had trouble finding parking - even when I came home later in the evening. The bed was SUPER comfortable, the amenities were great. Next time I’m in town for work with my car I’d Stay again for sure.

    Nancy2018-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and cozy apartment located perfectly between 4 hip neighborhoods and only a short drive to the loop for more touristy affairs. I definitely recommend staying here and popping over to Logan Square for great food, drinks, etc... Will definitely look to stay here again on my next trip to Chicago!

Our loft space is close to Andersonville shopping, dining, and nightlife like Hopleaf, Sun Wah BBQ, and the best Pho in Chicago. You’ll love our place because of the privacy, the light, the high ceilings, the kitchen, the comfy bed, and the overall coziness. Our place is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
This is a one of a kind space in the City of Chicago. We have meticulously renovated this space to be a comfortable and refined sanctuary for our guests. The touches blend an eclectic sense of Midwest farmhouse with a nod to the rustic & industrial from our city's vibrant past.
Andersonville has many restaurants, bars, unique retail shops, antique stores, book stores, and boutique grocery and liquor stores nearby. There is also nightlife, like Hopleaf, as well as Sun Wah BBQ and the best Pho in Chicago.
  • Excellent! Love the loft, had a great weekend. Walked to Wrigley. Took Red Line downtown. Highly recommend. Thanks!

  • If you're looking fora fantastic loft with super easy access to public transportation, walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, and a beautiful beach, then this is the place for you. We had a great experience and would rebook any time we come back to Chicago.

  • Wonderful, spacious loft in wonderful Andersonville. Great location a block from Clark. Loft was just as pictured.Comfortable and well appointed!

  • This loft is a truly beautiful place to stay. Very spacious, clean, comfortable and homey. Although it's so close to the hosts home you get all the privacy you need. Close to a ton of great food places and good accessibility to public transport. Definitely recommend!

    James2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • The photos don't do this place justice. The loft is beautiful, clean, and has all of the amenities you would want. It is a little far from downtown, but honestly it's worth it because it's so comfortable to come back to after a long day of walking and visiting. It's very private and easy to access and ultimately very swanky.

    Sydni2017-06-29T00:00:00Z

Our place is close to Dusek's Board & Beer, Thalia Hall, Honky Tonk BBQ, Simone's Bar, Cafe Jumping Bean, Nuevo Leon Restaurant. It is a detached coach house which means there is no one above or below the apartment. There is lots of light, comfy bed and amazing neighborhood! Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
  • Very convenient and comfortable stay for my business trip. Reasonable $12 Uber/Lyft to the center of the loop. Also great options for food/drink on nearby 18th street. Will look to stay here again if available!

  • Great place in a wonderful up and coming neighborhood.Super close to great shops and restaurants. Priti was great! Check in was super easy and the place was super comfy.

    Christina2017-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • The check-in was super smooth and we had all the information we needed to get there and to find things we needed around the coach house. Priti & Osei were great about communicating and checking in throughout our stay. Very forthcoming and friendly. The Coach House is a wide open space with a comfy bed and great light and a nice warehouse flair. Would definitely stay here again!

    Luca2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect! Priti was amazing!

    Grayson2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • This location couldn’t get any better. You are steps away from great food and drink in a lively developing area. The house was spacious and bright. Exactly like the photos! We thought the location was going to be good, but it ended up being amazing. Priti and Osei were such a great hosts. Provided food and shopping recommendations and best of all, parking instructions (we always found free parking even on a busy weekend). They were also very gracious to accommodate a personal situation which came up unexpectedly. I would recommend their house and their hospitality to anyone.

    Mari2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Priti and Osei were amazing hosts and the property is very comfortable and versatile. Recommend La Vaca down the street for the best Mexican food and frozen margaritas of your life

    Alice2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Priti & Osei's coach house is a lovely space; clean and simple, with thoughtful touches. The coach house is about 2.5-3 miles from the loop and right by many of restaurants and coffee shops right on 18th. Communication with Priti was easy and prompt, and she answered most questions in her pre-arrival message.

    Mary2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Priti & Osei's place is in a quaint and adorable neighborhood- quiet when needed and accessible to good food! The Line is a little far from the Airbnb but buses are quite convenient. Priti was amazing with follow-up and quick to respond. I had a great time traveling with my friend!

  • Came to Chicago for the Marathon this past weekend and stayed at this property. It was very convenient to get to the subway system but not so close that it keeps you up at night. It was in a great area and the location made it easy to get to anywhere. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this listing! Towels, bedding and extra pillows were already in the home and it had a full refrigerator as well. Stove worked great to cook my pre-race meal as well. No complaints from us! It was also extremely helpful that we were able to drop off the bags prior to checkin/leave them locked up past check out. Thank you SO much! That helped a tremendous amount.

Kick back under tin ceilings at a machine shop turned airy, bright studio. Chill in the claw foot tub surrounded by leafy house plants, or crack a book in the open living space with its bold artwork, mid century furniture, and modern lighting.
A converted 1930's machine shop, the studio has 14-foot tin ceilings, original steel I-beams, and large windows. The building's windows are directly on the sidewalk - this is dense city living. The apartment is ideal for a single traveler or a couple: it has an open-bath concept, and the bathtub is visible from the living area.
Humboldt Park is hip, diverse, and ideal for people who want local flavor without giving up access to popular destinations. Hit up cool neighborhood joints, take a leisurely stroll to Wicker Park, or jump on transit to get into the thick of things.
  • Hands down the best Airbnb I've stayed at to date. Super chic design, easily accessible, and a great area. The details of the place are hard to beat! Even the manual had very cute drawings that were memorable. We had a chance to meet Ellie and she was so friendly. Thanks for a great experience! 10/10 would recommend.

  • Ellie’s place is so so wonderful! Chic, stylish, beautiful location from which you can easily access the trendiest Chicago area, Wicker Park. Ellie responds in mere minutes should you need anything and the keypad entry makes it so easy to come and go as you please, no need for keys! 10/10 would recommend and hope to stay here again! ❤️

This home is a spacious studio with high wood beam ceilings, granite floors and industrial steel work. There is a private entrance through the patio with a fire pit and two grills that guests are welcome to use. The studio is located next to The 606 trail which is great for walking, running and biking. Historical and beautiful Humboldt Park is just a block away. There are also fantastic dining and drinking options equally close.
My neighborhood is known for it's boulevard system and has a lot of green and trees. Check out Humboldt Park which is one of the best parks in the city in my opinion. I love to walk, jog and have picnics there. The 606 trail is located a block away. It is an old elevated rail line that was transformed for recreation. It has bike lanes and I do have extra bikes for guests. It is also great for walking as it connects three neighborhoods and is a uniques way to see some of Chicago. The jogging lanes are the same material as a running track. There are amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance or a short car ride away. I have information on some of my favorites in the guest binder.
  • This space is totally unique and super cool. Very clean upon arrival and Brooke was very easy to reach. The bed was very comfortable. Easy check in with lock box and definitely a safe area. There is a really cool running/biking path less than a block from the space. Would love to stay here again.

  • Close to urban transit (bus and train), fairly close by transit to museums, art institute, 2nd city, and many good restaurants close to place. Very nice living space, and carriage house was well heated during the brutally cold outside temperatures.

  • We LOVED Brooke's place and would definitely stay again! She was a fantastic host and was attentive, communicative, and went out of her way to make sure we were perfect :) The coach house is steps away from the 606 trail, which we made sure to take advantage of, and there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The kitchen had an abundance of cooking supplies and the bathroom was fully stocked with fresh, clean towels and linen, not to mention a really awesome shower and extras. The bed was really comfortable and sleep was solid. I look forward to staying here when we are in town again!

    Modesty2017-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Just a wonderful place to stay. Brooke was a wonderful and gracious host that made sure we had everything we needed and was easy to contact incase we had any other questions. The place was very clean, the ambience was calming, the bed was comfortable with a ton of pillows, and we really felt a sense of privacy when we weren't out exploring the city. Parking was another plus as we were able find a spot right out front and parked for free during the duration of our stay.

  • Niles was very patient in waiting for our arrival and personally gave us the complete walk around. Everything was as advertised and much more spacious than I expected. • Niles was great. He was flexible and very easy to arrange things with. He came right away when we arrived and oriented us to the place and town. He stayed available for questions if we had them over the weekend. We loved the place. It was simple and very sweet with some nice touches (ex., books about Chicago, funny DVD's) with everything we wanted and needed so it was pretty perfect. We could really relax there. The garage door is kind of loud opening from below but we were warned by the reviews and it wasn't any problem. We took our white noise machine and it was never opening too late at night or early in the morning for us.

    Emily2016-04-05T00:00:00Z

  • George's place is very clean and you'll find all the basics there. Very close to a bus line and a few block's walk to the subway. We had a family of 4 (older kiddos) which worked perfectly as the sleeping loft is all one space. Found free on street parking easily and close to the space. George was great at responding in a timely manner and easy to work with.

Make this bright and homey coach house into your home away from home! Detached from the main house and with two bedrooms, full kitchen, and full bath, it is a great base for exploring Oak Park. If you are headed to Chicago, you can walk to either Green or Blue lines for a quick ride into the city. We provide tea and coffee, and the local Jewel (two blocks away) carries groceries, beer, and wine, so it is easy to live like a local during your stay here!
This a great place for families! There are toys, tv, and DVD player, along with high chair and Pack N Play if you have little ones.
  • The location was very good for us. I thought the neighborhood was clean and quiet. Close to Lake Street where there are several restaurants, coffee shops and the L if you plan to take it. Really not much negative to say. Price was very reasonable, and the host met us when we arrived which was very nice.

  • This was the perfect place for my family and I to visit Chicago. It is 30 min away from downtown in a beautiful neighborhood. It was a great experience. John was always available when needed.

    Cynthia2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Close to the grocery store, easy to walk to the L train, and a nice neighborhood, with fireflies at night!

    David2018-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • John's place is located in a really nice quiet neighborhood and has got ample space! It was very easy to communicate with him and he was kind enough to even accommodate our request for some beach towels. I would recommend John's place for a peaceful and worthy getaway!

    Sush2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed 4 nights for Riot Fest, and even though earplugs were available, I didn't even need them! The Airbnb is a converter shed detached from the main house, in the rear. However, the coach house had plenty of privacy and I honestly forgot it wasn't a little house of it's own. The kitchen smoke detector is very sensitive, so be mindful! Otherwise, this is a great, affordable location to explore Chicago from!

  • Overall nice place but the home is showing it’s age

    Kareemuddin2018-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great lodging at a great Chicago-area price. Nice to have a place all to ourselves for our coming and going without hassle or interruptions. Quiet and good/immediate communication, and a safe, convenient place to park the car.

Close to Lincoln Park Zoo, beaches, Lincoln Park, playgrounds, gardens, tennis. Shops, bars, and great restaurants abound. Likewise, music venues, theater, cinema, Second City; buses, trains and bike rentals. You’ll love this coach house apartment because of the location. It is a quiet, cozy, light-filled hideaway tucked into the city bustle. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. (Extra amenities may be available on request.) 2 week minimum bookings only, please.
  • great place, location and owner

    Erica2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Pam's place is an apartment behind the main house. Entry is on the alley. My family and I had a great time staying there. The neighborhood is very well located and has many nice restaurants and stores near by. It is walking distance to the Lincoln Park Zoo and the shopping area on N. Clark. Pam is a great hostess. All in all a great experience.

    Fernando2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great location just a few blocks from the zoo. Tons of great restaurants nearby, and easy bus and train access to anywhere in Chicago. The house was hip and stylish, and Pam was a fantastic host.

    Kevin2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and very convenient. It was like living in the city.

    Linden2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for four weeks and everything was great. Pam was wonderful and responded to my questions quickly. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the space was open and inviting. Pam included a lot of thoughtful details in the space that I would have not thought to ask for. The kitchen is well stocked, there were tons of towels, and a lot of drawer and closet space. The neighborhood is great - quiet and residential, but within walking distance to restaurants, bars, Oz Park, and the Lincoln Park Zoo (a great zoo, and admission is free/by donation). There is easy walking access to transit, and a Lyft was typically no more than 1-3 minutes away. I was coming and going fairly late and always felt safe using the back entrance, as the path behind the buildings is very well lit. I worked remotely during my stay, and found the table space a welcoming place to work for an hour to at a time, and the wifi never let me down. A heads-up that, inside the bedroom, there's a lot of natural light even with the shades drawn, so if you're sensitive to light in the morning, pack a sleeping mask or grab an extra pillow. Four weeks is a long stay - I'm glad to have found this place and very highly recommend it.

    Molly2018-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Pam made my experience in Chicago worth coming back what a great host in a great city thank you for everything

    Wayne2017-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was my home for the last two weeks in Chicago. I absolutely loved it! It was perfect, and the location is absolutely one of the best. For most part I stayed by myself, but when my parents came to visit it fit 3 people fine, didn't feel small or anything at all. Pam was an amazing host - very helpful, quick in response, friendly and generous!

    Ben2018-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Stay was superb. Place is terrific - attractive, modern, light, airy. Location in upscale neighborhood with coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores within a block or two. Pam is communicative and accommodating. I had two sets of guests and she made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend.

Our 1-bedroom carriage house sits in historic Oak Park & only steps away from Frank Lloyd Wright's Home and Studio. You’ll love this space because it's private and intimate yet situated only blocks away from the train & downtown Oak Park! Very quick drive or subway ride to downtown Chicago. The people, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood are unbeatable. It's a great place for couples to stay, for solo adventurers, business travelers, or families with kids. Check us out!
What makes our space unique is the urban yet remote location of the coach house. Although it's part of our property, this space is a fair distance away from our house, so it really is your own oasis. The coach house is airy and open - a lofty feel. There is one private bedroom but plenty of space for others to sleep including a loft with a twin bed. We have two balconies, one with seating which allows you to enjoy a crisp Fall day or a sunny Summer morning as you look across to beautiful gardens just beneath. It really is a special place and we hope you enjoy it.
We love everything about this neighborhood. It's quiet, all of the homes are +100 years old and meticulously kept. There are two homes that separate our space from the acclaimed Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio. The original settlers of Oak Park (the Kettlestrings) lived around the corner from our home, so taking a walk in our neighborhood is like taking a stroll back through history.
  • What an incredible AIRBNB experience! Makesha & Mark were incredible hosts & their Carriage home was so beautiful & perfect. They graciously offered fresh muffins in the mornings & were there if we needed anything. Their hospitality was the icing on the cake that made our weekend wonderful. When we visit Chicago again, this will be our first choice every time!!!

  • It’s awesome to stay in one of oak parks coach houses in the most beautiful area of oak park. Spacious place with beautiful surroundings. Mak is an attentive host.

    Rachel2018-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, comfortable upscale loft carriage house apartment. Everything is top notch and well maintained. Mark and Mak were warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

    Daryl2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is perfectly located with a short walk from the metro line to Chicago downtown. Oak Park is an area known for Hemmingway and Frank Lloyed Wright (whom we did not know before arriving here) who left their traces around the neighborhood. The F.L. Wright studio is even ... only two houses away from the apartment. It is very stylishly furnished and clean and as expected from the pictures. The garden is nice and useful and our son had fun with the swing mounted on a huge tree. Mak was friendly and nice and went out of her way to help us by washing our clothes in her machine. The apartment has a fridge, a micro wave and a coffee machine, which is quite enough for most use cases. With a small kitchen, this would be the perfect apartment also for longer stays. We had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend Mak's Place. Thanks again Mak.

    Mady2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • The space is beautiful and "as advertised." Mak does a great job of being responsive and making the process streamlined and seamless. I was a bit nervous that the apartment might be cold since it was Chicago in the winter, but it was very warm. If you have business or are visiting nearby, I would highly recommend using this place. We will certainly try to stay here again in the not too distant future.

    Derek2017-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Mak is an excellent host, and the place is spacious and comfortable. Great location! We would definitely stay here again.

  • We stayed here for a wedding with a couple of our friends and it was absolutely perfect for us! Thank you for your hospitality. Just a warning for people with young children - they just built a night club behind the place so it can get a little noisy but we couldn't really hear too much when in the bedrooms. Location was perfect we walked everywhere and the patio outside was a nice place to hang out.

    Jessica2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay here. I used to live just one street over, so I was I was thrilled to find a spot in River North that was dog friendly. Super safe area with lots of great restaurants in walking distance. HomeTree was incredibly responsive and accommodating and the check-in process was a breeze. They had plenty of clean blankets and towels too, which I really value!

  • First and foremost, the location is absolutely ideal if you are looking to explore and visit downtown Chicago. Places to eat and see are within walking distance. The home itself is very clean and spacious. The bedrooms can accommodate many guests, and the living room is equipped also to accommodate more people. My cousins and I were very comfortable during our stay.

  • Elizabeth's place was perfect for my visit to Chicago! I was visiting for my daughter's graduation and she lives in Lincoln Park, so proximity was great! The studio was well equipped with fantastic linens!! Thank you!

  • This charming above-garage apartment provides the perfect spot for a getaway to Chicago. It is clean, well-equipped with kitchen supplies, well-wired for internet and tv access and just so cute! It is so close to public transportation, great shopping and fabulous restaurants. There's a lovely park close by, Oz Park, that has wonderful Wizard of Oz statuary at its borders. Elizabeth is so easy to work with and her concierge company made everything a real breeze for our stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay.

    Julie2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is lovely. It's within walking distance to the brown line train and had plenty of small restaurants and shops in the surrounding area. If you're a really light sleeper the garage door noise and the train might be a problem but we didn't mind. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

    Sandra2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place to stay for the weekend. Great location and it was very comfortable! We will for sure stay here again.

  • Elizabeth's place was perfect for my stay while attending my daughter's orientation at DePaul University, which was in walking distance. There were plenty of shops, restaurants and Whole Foods all within walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and lovely lots of people walking dogs and riding bikes. Check in was easy and everything was as expected. Her place is very clean and has everything you need all the expected amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. Elizabeth was very responsive and she touched base with me to make sure everything went well with check in. I will be coming back when I visit my daughter at school.

United Center is a straight shot from here too! 5 mi down Damen. 20 minute drive or 30 min 1 bus ride (no transfers needed!!) We are only three blocks from the Brown Line 'el' train. 20 minutes from downtown via the train. Faster if driving.
  • Our stay was wonderful! We were in town to attend an event at The Mart downtown & the Commute was quick. The home is beautiful and cozy. We took advantage of the Starbucks a could doors down every morning!

  • We're so happy to have found Jessica's place during our recent visit to Chicago. It was a cozy, quiet spot for our family of four (two adults, two school-aged kids) near a number of excellent places to eat, and just a short walk to public transportation. The guesthouse itself is comfortable and very clean. We appreciated small details like local activity flyers and recommendations for dining out. Loved the gelato place steps from the guesthouse and the Turkish place down Roscoe Street. We were able to take a comfortable walk to Wrigley Field from Jessica's place. Definitely stay here!

    Christina2018-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! The apartment was cute and very clean. Jessica provided suggestions of things to do and was there for any questions/issues. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Chicago!

  • Wonderful location close to Wrigley Field and the “EL” for transportation downtown. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable with good quality linens. I recommend.

  • Great area to explore. Cute guesthouse behind a three story house right in the middle of Roscoe Village. Super easy to hop on the Brown line to Downtown/loop, easy transfers to everywhere. Walkable, bikes everywhere or if you insist on driving its easy to get in and out of with ample street parking. And when you’re done, a gas fire pit to sit around and enjoy your favorite beverage. Great hosts.

    Kyle2018-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • What a find! We needed a space for our family of four and this guest house was perfect. We feel so lucky. I loved the layout of the home, which has two bedrooms that are separated by a bathroom and small closet. This let us put our little one down without worrying about waking him while we were over in the living room. The whole house was so quiet and serene. The decor is really stylish! Jessica was so hospitable and made sure we had all the comforts of home that we needed. The location of this home is incredible. We enjoyed visiting the local boutiques and you can’t beat staying on the same block as a Starbucks, brunch restaurants, and a gelato shop. There is also a lovely fenced in park/playground a couple blocks south. I only wish we had more time. Will definitely return.

    Becky2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica’s place is located in a wonderful neighborhood with coffee spots, brunch, dinner and drinks within minutes walking distance. The home is nicely decorated and has two separate rooms which is great for those with little ones who need to nap! This was our first Airbnb experience, and Jessica made it a very good one.

    Sojan2018-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • We chose Alex's place because of 4 reasons: 1. LOCATION. Andersonville is fairly safe, close to the red line & of course Uber/Lyfts are easy to hail. 2. SELF CHECK-IN. We had a late flight from Denver, CO. 3. WiFi ACCESS 4. ACCESS TO A KITCHEN. We despised Alex's place & WOULD NEVER BOOK AGAIN because of 7 reasons: 1. MACGYVER MAZE. Initial communication with Alex prior to booking assured we'd be able to self-check in but he neglected to disclose the Macgyver maze to get into the room. It was disclosed the day of check in despite Alex knowing that we'd arrive around 1-2 AM prior to booking. Had we known this during initial communication; we NEVER would have booked with Alex & upon knowing; we we were stuck due to his strict cancellation policy. How convenient... Anyway back to the Macgyver maze, when we departed our Lyft we had to walk through a gangway with checked bag sized luggage & backpacks as the room is on the rear of the building. The motion lights were helpful (ahem NECESSARY) in the gangway. Once we got to the rear main door, we needed to enter a code (super easy). We get into the building & need to hike up 3 steep flights of shanty wooden stairs again with checked sized luggage intended for rolling or lifting for short jaunts. After our workout, we get to another door & code (super easy). Each flight of stairs had motion lights (again NECESSARY). Finally, we get to the room which also has a code which we liked for security. 2. AVERAGE BED & PILLOWS. The room at face value was clean & all we wanted to do was go to sleep, so we didn't do an initial detailed inspection. Bed & pillows were average comfort & we were going to look past the Macgyver maze to get in the room because we were only booked for 2 nights before moving on to our intended long term accommodations at Ravenswood Lofts as we are in Chicago for about 1 month but other reasons grew our frustration. 3. BELOW AVERAGE or NON WORKING A/C. Our room didn't seem to have A/C. There was A/C in the common areas but we couldn't feel it in our room. Our room had a small table fan that we used & luckily it wasn't a SUPER HOT Chicago night, so it sufficed. 4. HOSTEL/DORMITORY SETUP WITH NO HOST ONSITE. We noticed the labeling of rooms when we arrived which Alex also neglected to tell us that his place is setup like a hostel or dorm so you may have other occupants besides the host. I've done this once in Las Vegas & it works well if the host is onsite & the property is set up like a resort with multiple bathrooms & community amenities like a pool & spa. 5. LOUD UNKNOWN & UNDISCLOSED OCCUPANTS. Keep in mind we got in late only to be awakened to someone...

Unwind after a day exploring the city or nearby McCormick Place in this spacious loft built by Burnham and Root. With exposed beams, brick walls, and well-equipped kitchen, this home is a peaceful place to relax with friends, family, or colleagues.
Excellent for business groups attending a conference at McCormick, large family gatherings or wedding parties.
The home is in the beautiful Kenwood neighborhood with quick access to the lake, museum campus, downtown, UIC and IIT. It's about one mile from McCormick Place, and 5 minutes from all that the South Loop, Pilsen, Bridgeport or Hyde Park has to offer.
  • Great place. Very spacious.would definitely stay again.

    Anna2018-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lori's carriage house is wonderfully updated and enormous! We felt right at home, and the grocery store a few blocks away is definitely one of the nicest I've ever set foot inside, which made our Thanksgiving trip to visit with family (and bring some side dishes) super easy.

  • We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful house. Clean, close to public transportation (I took both the train and bus to downtown), a few minutes Uber/Lyft ride away from downtown and McCormick place. This historic coach house was recently remodeled. Everything is new and tastefully decorated. 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a den with a trundle bed, living room, laundry room, huge kitchen and dining area. Comfortable beds, towels, extra bed linens, toiletries in each bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and store your food. There is a huge grocery store 2 blocks away. This place is perfect for families and large groups looking for a comfortable home away from home while visiting Chicago. The host was great. He even gave us a tour of the front house that is being renovated. highly recommend this place.

Come stay at our cozy, clean and charming coach house! Light-filled space w/ modern amenities include heated bath floors, a fireplace for chilly eves, and an outdoor patio to relax! Central location you will appreciate seeing the sites and proximity to city center! The neighborhood itself is vibrant, w/ plenty of food, drink, fun and shopping, walking distance to Blue & Green line subways. A bus at your doorstop direct to Navy Pier, Michigan Ave. Nearby: trendy Fulton Market, Wicker Park, Loop
Coach house located in old historic Italian Chicago neighborhood. The houses in our neighborhood were built after the Chicago fire in the 1871, and while most have been torn down and replaced by new construction, we opted to work within existing structures and preserve the old and mix with new. And, they don't make Chicago coach houses anymore, so this is truly a piece of history! Exposed wood beams, plenty of light air from windows on all sides. Outdoor patio area. Heated bathroom floors and cozy fireplace. This part of West Town is in a quiet corner and yet everything is at your doorstep.
Great Location! Neighborhood: West Town. | Neighborhood borders: Fulton Market | West Loop | Wicker Park | Ukrainian Village
  • Great stay at a great value! It was our first trip to Chicago and I was worried about getting into and out of town easily to see all the sights in a short weekend, but not here. A quick ten min walk to the blue line and we were on a train to the city, the airport, or out to Logan square. A walk a block in the other direction and there's a bus heading straight to Navy Pier or Museum Campus. Very convient! If you wanted to just hang closer, the neighbourhood was nice, quiet, and safe, with its own restaurants in walking distance. Then, when you got in from all your sightseeing, a spacious hot waterfall shower and a comfy queen bed are waiting. Checking in and out were easy with the keypad lock and communication with Candace was never an issue. She provided plenty of detailed information and we found the place easily. We would definitely stay again.

    Michael2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town to help our daughter move apartments. We were able to have her stay with us in the Air B&B for the night between her old and new addresses. Very roomy, comfortable, and extremely clean accommodations. The surroundings were private and relaxing, with every amenity that you would want or need including umbrellas, which we needed and used! Great neighborhood too. And Candace and Robert were very responsive to our questions. This was the best experience we've had yet with an Air B&B.

    Megan2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Candace's place! The Airbnb profile looked clean and comfy, so we were already excited to have a nice place to call home while we were in town. Upon getting to the place, though, it turned out to be even better expected. It is clean, well furnished, and seems newly renovated! It's also easy to find and an easy walk from the blue line of the subway (great if you're coming in from O'Hare!). Candace and Robert were both very responsive and ready to help if we needed anything. It was so nice to have a welcoming home to come back to after long days at our conference. I would definitely recommend staying here (and will look to see if it is available the next time I'm in Chicago)!

    Josh2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • The space of Candace and Robert is amazing. It was my first time staying on an Airbnb and it went much better than I expected. The place is very clean, have everything you need, it's cozy and very comfortable. It is close to downtown. I highly recommend the space of Candace and Robert to stay in Chicago and I will definitely stay there again if I come back to Chicago.

    Alejandra2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Candace's place is well laid out, the kitchen has all the tools you may need. Short walk to the subway station, although access to basic needs such as groceries within walking distance is lacking.

    Rogier2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Candace and Robert's coach house was by far one of the most comfortable places I've stayed in. It was private, impeccably clean, quiet, and in a great location. They managed to strike the perfect balance of having all the amenities of a well-loved home while allowing you the space to make it your own. I wish I could have stayed all summer! Thank you again, Candace and Robert!!

    Kat2018-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • We were so impressed by Candace's space - it was the first time using Airbnb for us and we are thoroughly convinced to use it again in the future! The location was amazing and the space was clean, large, and had everything - there were a lot of personal touches and helpful pointers left around so that we were well taken care of. Although we stayed for only a few days, we could see spending time in this space longer-term if needed.

    Gabrielle2018-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Candace and Robert's home was absolutely perfect for my stay. I booked their home for a 3 month stay in Chicago while I was in school. I came from Florida, in the dead of winter, and so enjoyed having a warm, cozy, and inviting home to stay in during my trip. Their home was fully equipped with everything I needed during my stay, I was able to cook from home in the coach house's kitchen, and keep the unit clean with the supplies that was provided in the home as well. When it we had a large snow storm, the hosts always made sure to shovel our walk way, which I greatly appreciated! The home and area always felt very safe, and really served as an ideal place to test out living in a new big city! Candace and Robert, thank you for everything!

  • This was our first time booking with Airbnb, and thanks to LuzMa and Alex it was a good one. The place is as described or better. We were familiar with the area before of visit and were happy with the location. I don't think you could do better for the price and the space. For our family of 4 the Coach House was a perfect getaway for a week in Chicago. Our hosts communicated promptly and clearly and we had no problems figuring out our arrival or stay. When we needed something they were on it right away. Thanks for the opportunity to share Chicago with our kids!

This coach house resides in North Center, one of the 77 community areas of Chicago, Illinois, located in the city's North Side.
  • Jaki’s place is beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean! We were in town for my daughters graduation and had plenty of room for my large family. The 3 1/2 baths made it easy for everyone to get ready. When we had hot water issues Jaki and her husband were to quick to respond and the problem was solved immediately. We have recommended her house to our friends and would definitely come back ourselves!

    Claire2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • An extremely comfortable 3 nights stay. Clean, quiet, safe and great neighborhood.

    Raymond2018-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jacqueline was very responsive from the very beginning of looking at her home. The pictures and description was accurate. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of room. Although we brought our own air beds, and pack and play she had them provided. Jacqueline also had toys for the kids. The location was great with a nearby park for the kids. Would highly recommend Jacqueline's home.

  • Spacious spot, great neighborhood, and friendly hosts! Will be back!

    Chris2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this carriage home and would rent again in a heartbeat. Host was prompt to meet me and everything was just like the photos. So nicely decorated, clean and in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. No problems getting to nearby restaurants or shopping.

    Brenda2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jackies place was amazing. Great for families, plenty of space and a well thought out amenities. We would highly recommend staying with them. The neighborhood is great too. Walking distance to a baseball park, playground, dog park. Grocery store are close by. Lots of food delivery options and walkable restaurants. The beds, linens, towels and toiletries are all wonderful and comfortable. Definitely stay here.

    Daniel2018-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jacqueline's place was clean and as the pictured appeared, as well as being in a nice area on the north-side of Chicago. However there were a lot of ants in 2 of the bedrooms and in the kitchen-the auto lock on the door locked us out while Jacqueline's was out of the country. Advice is to keep a spare set of keys with someone local for emergency situations like that. We were force for await a few hours for the lock-smith to arrive and then get us into the unit. We missed out on an event we about to get dressed and attend due to that issue.

    Mel2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Exceeded our expectations! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Jacqueline is very responsive if any needs should arise.

  • Barbara was great, very welcoming. We played with her dog sometimes and stopped by while they were having a party in their yard. She was very accommodating with our check-in and out times. The unit had some snacks, wine, a Britta, and a Keurig when we got there. It's in a perfect location for the El and everything in Wicker Park. The place is big, but has low ceilings. The bed squeaks a little when you move so that woke us up a few times, but it's very comfortable. There weren't a lot of places to hang up clothing, but plenty of space to lay things flat. The bathroom is nice and bright with a standing shower. We would definitely stay here again.

  • We had a great stay in Wicker Park. The room was very clean and snacks were provided. The bathroom was spacious and new. Laundry was available in the house. The bed squeaked and did wake us up at night a few times and the ceilings were low, but otherwise we were very comfortable.

We've made the room as comfortable as possible for you (& you can lock the door!). 3 Blocks from Forest Park Library, minutes from Loyola Medical, Hines VA and Rush. I would love for you to be able to just concentrate on your reason for coming into the city, so my goal is to provide all the basics - a comfortable bed, pillows and linen, Wi-Fi access, a kitchen with pots and pans, a frig and microwave. We even throw in free coffee or tea (and an assortment of sweeteners) you can make anytime. We provide fresh linen weekly, and clean the room once a week. You have a lock on your door to ensure privacy and security. The room is not small and contains two small windows for sunlight. Please feel free to sit in the lounging area anytime, where you can go online, read or enjoy the big screen smart television.
Forest Park is very safe, anchored by River Forest & Oak Park in one direction & Chicago in the other. The community prides itself on offering terrific shops to explore in the day, & lively entertainment at night (including Centuries and Sleuths Bookstore, the Archery Custom Shop (where you can get lessons or just shoot), a micro-brewery restaurant, various wonderful boutiques & antique stores). Watch professional sports in one of the many downtown Forest Park bars and restaurants. A short distance away in the other direction are places like Fitzgerald's which has live music and awesome food. If you'd like to exercise, the park district is about a block away and Planet Fitness which is open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week is about 4 blocks away as well.
  • Hi guys! I came to chicago for giving step 2 cs exam and I would like to say that this is one of the best place you can stay if you want to study and enjoy beautiful suburban life. This place is about 7 min from forest park library by walk, 5 min to blue line and about 15 min walk to Walmart where you can get basically everything you might need. Debbie is a great host you will feel like you are at your own house. You will not regret staying at her place at all. She provided me with everything she listed and more. If you decide to come to forest park to study or travelling either way this is best place to stay. Very clean homely place in a safe neighborhood. Love you Debbie thanks for taking such good care of me.

  • It was very nice and clean place , I stayed for my USMLE CS exam and place was favourable for the prep, pretty close (9 min walking distance) to public library, it was so called shared place but nobody bothered us(me and my friend ) during the stay, it was like home stay.. Debbie is very concerned about cleanliness and take care of changing linen of room every Friday and provide breakfast and toiletries.. She also gives ride to grocery store that depends on her availability.. Happy thing is that she gave us Katy Perry concert tickets that was next day to our exam, so pretty much relaxing after exam stress..

  • Debbie was very warm and inviting. She met me at the door and showed me around. The accamodations were much more than I expected! It felt like we had our own mini-suite, with the use of a cozy living room, kitchen and private bathroom. The neighborhood was quiet and attractive. She had soft music playing and a scented candle burning, so I felt like I was walking into a spa atmosphere. She was also very responsive to any texts that I sent her while I was there.

  • Marcy is one of the best hosts I have had in all of my Air B&b stays. The coach house is so great and in a perfect location. We were going to a convention at the McCormick Place and it was perfect walking distance. Food is close by and the extra added touches were perfect!

    Nicole2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Marcy's Coachhouse is amazing! Incredibly spacious, furnished with everything you need, and a great location. I especially enjoyed all of the thoughtful items Marcy furnished. Also, internet speeds are great, which is important to me because I spent a lot of time there working in between business appointments. Lastly Marcy and her sister were very friendly and hospitable. Couldn't have been a better stay.

    Garin2018-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful place! Marcy was very quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. She was also very accommodating. Our daughter had a basketball tournament at McCormick Place. It was an easy walk so no need to hassle with parking. Marcy also gave us a tip to get to McCormick Place. The neighborhood is great to walk around in and there is a park next door.

  • Marcy was a great host, she worked with me through a few scheduling issues I had, Marcy was very professional in all our interactions. The Coachhouse was a great space, especially the upstairs living area. The location to McCormick, where I was attending a convention, was perfect. The only comment is for light sleepers who may find the heating system a little noisy in the downstairs bedroom.

    Shawn2016-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our 3 days at Mike's was wonderful. From arrival to departure, Mike accommodated us every step of the way. NEIGHBORHOOD Clean, quiet, and very safe. You are assigned a single parking spot for the duration of your stay. THE SPACE The loft is as-advertised in the pics. Its's an attached space above Mike's garage. It's a great retreat for a solo adventurer or couples. There are baseboard heaters and plenty of blankets for cold weather. The beds are of tolerable comfort, as are the pillows. Mike let us know that the water heater is limited in capacity, so he advised us to take short showers. My girlfriend and I took 5-minute showers each, once or twice a day, and we never ran into running out of hot water. CHECK IN/OUT Mike is flexible with his hours. We checked in at 10AM and checked out our last day around 9-930AM with no hassles. OVERVIEW Overall it's a great value compared to staying at an expensive hotel in downtown Chicago. We would recommend staying here to our friends and family and would stay at Mike's if we were ever in the area again.

  • I really enjoyed my short stay in Mike's loft. He was very hospitable, and even had the time to pick me up from the airport when I arrived. I enjoyed the conversations we shared. His place is perfect for 1 person needing an affordable place near O'Hare. The neighborhood was quiet, and he helped me to feel at home. Would stay here again if I'm ever back in the area!

  • Great location! ~5 minutes from Metra station to Downtown. Mike is great and super helpful for getting around. Great value.

  • The space is perfect for the single traveler. It's in a quiet, residential area with a lovely garden. The small kitchen is equipped with the basics and I felt right at home. Michael was very responsive to questions and helping me get settled. We communicated by text. There are some steep stairs up to the space that may not be for everyone, but if that is not an issue, I highly recommend staying here.
