Bar
“The best old pub in the city. A great choice of amazing ales and the food is spot on. A place to go to watch live sports events. This pub is dog friendly (on the ground floor) so if you don't mind 4 legged friends saying hello, its a must for a visit. Takes about 40 minutes to walk to this place. Take a cab there (approx £5), and enjoy a nice evening stroll back along the river and back of the race course. Moderate prices on the food, but sometimes offer 2 for 1 on burgers mid week (phone ahead for their offers)”

“Nate and Christa visited here in August 2019 and said "If you're looking for good, fancy cocktails, we really enjoyed The Alchemist. Lots of fun, yummy drinks. Some that are glittery, color changing, smokey...the list goes on".”

“A pizza restaurant; the pizzas are cooked in a clay pizza oven, they are delicious! On a Tuesday they do 2 FOR 1 pizzas. Catch the Cocktail Club on a Thursday from 5pm; half price cocktails.”

“Hidden of the beaten track is this tiny wine bar, it can make for a night of mingling. Chris, the manager, is well informed on his wine he serves. ”

“Istanbul BBQ is (yes, you've guessed it!) a Turkish restaurant. It always seems to be busy, which must be due to their warm service and delicious food. Booking is recommended to ensure you secure a table.”
