“If you want to see the Elk in the park this is your best bet. It is a beautiful drive over the mountains through the park towards Cherokee. The elk have been hanging out in this area for a few years. During the fall is a great time at the rut is on and you can see the bulls vying for the harem. If you are lucky you will hear one bugling. ”
