Beer Store
“Sunset Beer is an awesome bar and tap-room. If you've never been to a tap-room before, they have rows and rows of individual cans and bottles. Once you make your selection, you can either take it home, or bring it over to the bar area and pay a corkage fee to drink it right there. It means drinks are a lot cheaper than they would be at other bars. Plus, their happy hour special is no corkage fee! So during the week, average cost of a drink is about $3 for a nice beer. Hard to beat! FYI, they close early (latest is midnight), so this is better for the start of your night or for a post-dinner night cap.”

“Unique restaurant with a full arcade of vintage video games and pinball machines. The food is really good, kinda Asian fusion drinking food-- try the chicken wings or the garlic noodles. Lots of vegan choices too. Great list of craft beer and wines. You'll find families with kids there on the earlier side and then its adults only after 9pm. http://buttonmashla.com”

“One of our family's favorite places to eat. Serves all day -- breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee. Casual but modern with great wine selections and a full bar with good cocktails. Not too expensive, very high quality eclectic Californian style menu. Our favorites: Winsome burger, mussels, brussels cesar salad, Whipped feta dip. Cute outdoor seating area.”

“This is supposed to be a good bar, haven't been there yet. If you are interested in Bars and echo park scene then most of that happens on Sunset Blvd, just down the street.. 5 min drive from our house. Easy going Beer Place is SUNSET BEER, or Japanese Sake & little foods TSUBAKI or GUISADOS Tacos or fresh food ( bowls ) from HONEY HI or anther Bar EL PRADO or if you want to see live music THE ECHO. All those place are on SUNSET BLVD in Echo Park. If you feel more adventurous Downtown LA might be a good option with tons of Bars and great Restaurants. Taking a Uber Car might be a good idea when going to Bars as drinking and driving is no fun in LA + is pretty cheap to take an Uber car just download the app. ”
