  • What you see is what you get! It’s a beautiful space with lots of light. We had a pleasant time staying here for our girls weekend trip. It was relaxing enough and close enough to many quaint shops and a short drive to the nearby towns. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

  • Completely fell in love with this place. I can honestly say I will be back. I loved the animals, the peacefulness and the privacy. Not crowded at all, that’s my favorite part. My husband and I came here with our dog. We cooked breakfast, barbecued for dinner and even made a fire pit. We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire and talked without noticing that the time was flying by us. My dog had an amazing time as well, there was a dog park and a nice walk that took us to an amazing waterfall. Can’t wait to return!

  • Great place, super clean, amazing views!, heating in Vista was amazing even during the mini snow storm. Pro tip:Ask for "dog towels" to clean the floors if it's rainy or snowy.

  • From the moment we arrived Melissa took care of my girlfriend and I needs. Our train was delayed and we arrived later than expected but Melissa was very understanding and helpful. We didn't know what to expect once we arrived. But everything was laid out perfectly. Melissa gave us a tour of the grounds and helped us get set up in our cabin. There is a shack if you just need food, supplies, DVDs, and other things you might not have thought about. She gave us a bag of fresh eggs and they were delicious! The area is quiet and peaceful and the views are amazing. It's great to unplug and just be. Melissa and Marjorie were wonderful hosts and took care of all our concerns and questions. We wished we had stayed longer. We will definitely be coming back again.

  • This was such a magical and breathtaking experience. I wouldn’t have asked for anything better. They were so kind and the location is stunning. We hope to return soon bringing additional loved ones.

    Ariela2019-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • If I could rate this 10 stars I would! Seriously such an amazing experience, everyone there is so sweet. There is so much to do, unfortunately I only got to stay one night due to availability. But I will definitely go back, the train on site was perfect and the fire we were able to start in front of our little home was perfect, sipping wine while just embracing nature and the stars. Anyways I can go on forever, definitely would recommend this place for a minimum of two nights!

Easy drive from the city and close to both Hunter and Windham! Clum house is a 2 story renovated house with a fully equipped kitchen and wood burning fireplace. The location is great year round. Close to Woodstock, Saugerties, Hudson, the Hudson River and Hunter and Windham ski resorts. The house is in a rural community so the water comes from a well. We've had problems with it in the past but installed a new filtration system last year and the water is now crystal clear and scent free.
The House was originally part of Camp Ontiora, a girls camp that operated from the 20's through to the 60's. Our property includes several of the original camp buildings and cabins. We use Clum as a Guest House and rent it when not occupied. My partner Daniel and I are architect/designers and rehabilitating the camp has been a labor of love over the past decade. It's in a great neighborhood with terrific neighbors. Over the past couple of years we helped our good friends renovate the camp lodge a few doors away which is also available for rent on Airbnb. Christopher has great info about the area in their listing and it's a wonderful place to stay if Clum is booked. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1257258

  • Kevin’s house is very comfortable, clean and well decorated. It is a home that would be great to visit in the middle of winter or summer. We hope to go back!

  • We had a lovely visit with our two little boys to celebrate my husbands birthday. Communication was great, easy check in. The property was beautiful, loved taking morning walks with the kids. The fireplace made the house extra cozy. It’s nicely decorated and all the beds had nice linens and were very comfortable. We ventured all around the area during our 4 day weekend — downtown Hudson for meals & farmers market. Hunter mountain for snow tubing and a nearby farm to see some cute animals! Highly recommend!

    Katie2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very artistic and cozy house. Love all the art work on the wall especially the Bernd & Hilla Becher’s photo!!

    Xiao2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend. Very pretty and very comfortable. It is as good as it looks in the photos. Beautifully appointed -- if you enjoy interior design, you'll love the details. Lovely outdoor space as well and while our weather was just ok (it was January after all) in our short stay we spotted a pileated woodpecker, golden-crowned kinglet and enjoyed the chickadees and juncos flitting about. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

    Sue2020-02-01T00:00:00Z

  • This was my second time staying at Clum House. My friend and I loved it so much last year that it's become an annual tradition--mid-December, we trek to Clum for our yearly writing retreat. The house is gorgeous and rustic (we especially love the fireplace) with an expansive backyard and candles and cozy blankets. Dusty, the house manager, is around and available if you run into issues--for example, we ran out of firewood and Kevin+Dusty hooked us up immediately. Kevin was also flexible about time--we wanted to arrive a little early, and I had to leave late because my car battery died and I was waiting for roadside assistance. No problem. I can't wait to stay at Clum House again next year.

A charming 2nd floor apartment above a antique/ collectible store called The Hodgepodge Shop in Leeds N.Y. It's only about a mile from the NYS thruway exit 21 so it's easy to find and hard to get lost. It has two bedrooms the master bedroom has one deluxe queen size bed , linen closet ,dresser , writing table and chair, and the other bedroom has a leather recliner, a stocked bookshelf and table with chairs that can be used as an office if you don't wish to inflate the queen size air mattress
The entire apartment is at your disposal, the master bedroom with writing table, there is an eat in kitchen,a pantry that holds a large assortment of cooking accessories, indoor grill, crock pots, toasters, Keurig coffee maker, etc... A nice sized living room with two couches that have electric recliners built in, a 52 inch Samsung flat screen tv wifi, a roku stick for movies and news or if you prefer, a view of the lovely little village of Leeds N.Y. lastly, a reading room stocked with a few dozen paperbacks from various genres, with a proper reading light and most importantly a Huge overstuffed leather recliner. This room easily converts into an additional bedroom when needed with the help of a deluxe queen sized airbed.
I love this Town! Just ask my family and friends, I have bored them on end with details about it's early American history, the stone bridge that was built in 1775, my friend & neigbors house built in 1740, or more recently the dye tank that dyed Yankee uniforms blue in the 1860s. It's not big but it's got a lot of charm, the stone church across the street was built in 1832, down what was one part of the Mohican trail, is the the beautiful brick house on the property with a blue NYS historical sight sign designating it as the original Fording place where wagons could ford the river on their way out west safely because of the Catskill creeks rock bottom and slower waters on that spot.
  • Ray was great and took good care it me on short notice. Can’t wait to come back when we have more time and peruse the shop downstairs—a true hodgepodge!

  • Highly recommend Marc and Joe's place! It was right on the main street and close to many Catskill attractions. They took the time to outline many things to do in the area and leave pamphlets in the apartment with detailed information. Not to mention, their response time was lightening fast when we had questions. The apartment itself was very clean and organized with a few added touches to make us feel at home. They outlined exactly what we should expect upon arrival, but I can confidently say that those expectations were absolutely exceeded.

Joe & Marc were extremely helpful and even gave a list of their recommendations for places around town. Finding parking was never an issue which is another huge plus. The apartment was very clean and spacious. I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a nice place around this area. Joe and Marc are also amazing with communication and their response times are great. Definitely would love to come back here again!

    Tim2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Terrace room is a small but comfortable accommodation and quite private. The bed was fine, the kitchenette provided everything I needed. There was a water heater, a french press, and a mini-fridge, as well as a small sink to wash the provided dishes. If there is something you need that isn't there, Caitlin is a simple text away. I don't know for certain whether the small microwave was put there at my request or whether it's standard (a different room didn't have one), but if you need one, just let her know when you book. The bathroom was sparkling and soap is provided in both the bathroom and kitchenette. Extra supplies (towels, TP, paper towels and the like) are available in the front of the house and a key is provided for access to that. It was a comfortable week that I spent there and, were I to go back to Catskill, I would return to the Catskill House.

    Marc2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Caitlin’s place was clean and private. It’s a perfect getaway spot for a couple or close friends. We loved the town and all of the restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay at Caitlin’s place again.

  • William’s place is a spotless, stylist, sparely decorated old home at the end of a quiet street with views of the creek and river, but still a short walk to the downtown. The perfect house to use as home base for touring around the Hudson Valley in late fall. Even the wifi was great (so there may have been some time for Netflix...).

    Scott2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • It is a beautiful old house with a sparkling new make over and the views are beautiful and there is a peace to the house overall. Fantastic back porch with river views though a little cold this weekend. A great value.

The house dosent have A/C unit on the first floor (we stayed in October so we didnt need it anyway) but there is one on the second floor. All the bedrooms has a connecting door that makes it very easy when you come with kids. There is all the dishes you need and a coffee machin with pods. Very recommended!!

Swimming in the river, sun baking, and walking are all recommended in summer. The area is very quiet, and you can feel completely in the country, yet just a few miles from so much else. There are many activities on offer such as golf, tennis, mini golf, go carting, hunter zip line, and more. Pick up your groceries before you arrive and just relax, or venture out to enjoy someone else's cooking (a number of excellent choices at reasonable prices, I made some recommendations in the airbnb guide book). Endless other things to do. The house is centrally located, roughly 6 miles from exit 20 NYS Thruway, minutes from HITS horse riding facility. 20 mins from Woodstock; 30 mins from Hudson, 15 mins to Saugerties and Catskill towns. There is a bus from the city Trailways to Palenville stop is the best way on public transport, then a taxi from there is possible. There is also the Amtrak train to Hudson (this is 30min drive from the house) Wireless router in the house next door provides strong internet access. Login details in the house manual on the airbnb listing. Verizon cell coverage is generally better than ATT in this area.
The area is centrally located between 3 towns. Saugerties, Catskill and Hudson.
  • We had a wonderful time at this beautiful old school house. Stylish decor with lots of thoughtful touches and well stocked with everything you need. The fireplace is a real treat and there is a gorgeous big garden which leads to a wood and a creek. Nicolas couldn’t have been more helpful. The location is convenient for Hudson and Woodstock and nice trails just a short car ride away. We will definitely be coming back!

  • This is a really charming cottage tucked away in the Catskills. The location and grounds are amazing if you want to really escape. Our dogs loved having access to the woods and a stream nearby. The house itself was super cozy and stylish. Loved the wood burning stove! Although the property is shared with another house, we felt that we had complete privacy. Nicolas was a very accommodating host as well. Looking forward to coming back sometime!

  • We loved our remote weekend getaway! Josh’s place is very stylish and cozy, and we couldn’t get enough of the fire place and hot tub. Both beds were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here!!

  • My friends and I stayed a couple nights and had a great time. The place is really nicely arranged and styled. It feels comfortable and there is plenty of space even though the house isn’t huge. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living space was perfect for the 4 of us. There’s not a ton to do in the area in the winter besides driving out to a ski resort, so it was a nice touch to have extra amenities available in the house such as the hot tub, Netflix, and games. Thanks for letting us stay!

    Alison2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place! Hot tub was absolutely phenomenal, space was beautiful. Comfortable beds, very secluded. Modern space, will definitely book again if we come back to the Catskills!

    Kyle2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This place was heavenly. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, our hearts were warm and happy as can be. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and more. The jacuzzi in the winter time is a dream and the heating system was toasty, we could not be more comfortable. The hosts were super attentive and responsive. This place is the perfect example of what makes Airbnb special. Thank you, Josh and Emely, we had a wonderful Christmas!!

    Jorge2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Josh and Emily were great! The check in was smooth, the house is super cute and cosi. The fireplace is the cherry on top. Great selection of movies and record players! We cooked a few meals in the house and enjoyed the restaurants in downtown Catskills. Overall, excellent experience!

    Fernanda2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This space is so cozy, accommodating, and beautiful. We were able to easily travel to Hunter Mountain to ski, eat at local restaurants, and enjoy playing games in front of the Christmas tree next to a warm fire. Could not have picked a better place to have a girls getaway. We will be back if in the area!

    Samantha2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time during a weekend away with my family. The house was clean and check-in was easy. Josh was very responsive as well. The house has a lot of charm and the hot tub was a hit with my daughters! House is also in a great location, only 10-15 minutes from both the towns of Catskill and Hudson. Would stay here again if we’re back in the area!

  • This was our first time staying on a boat like this & loved it! AJ was really friendly & helpful at check in & recommended some restaurants in town (a few mins drive away). The weather was beautiful so we sat with a takeaway soaking up the sun & admiring the view. There was the cutest family of ducks on the water which kept us entertained! At night it was lovely to sit & watch the stars. Great experience :)

As private as you can find! At the end of a mile long wood road on 11 forested acres on the Poetic Creek. No houses in sight - or earshot. A charming 'Camping Cabin'. Please read ALL the description, so you know what to expect and what to bring. _________________________
…….The Cabin is insulated and has an airtight wood stove. There is a Murphy bed with a queen size mattress. It does not have indoor running water or electric [other than a small solar electric system described below] - that's what "camping cabin" refers to. The forest has lots of wildlife, deer, wild turkeys, foxes, raccoons, great horned owls, etc. ----------------------- ……..For cooking there is a 2 burner Coleman camp stove, and outside, a fireplace. Solar power: Solar electric panels on the roof charge a storage battery. It has a USB port for charging small electronics and operating a couple of CFL lamps. ........Fire wood update November 2019: In November we delivered 6 truckloads of seasoned firewood to the cabin. Some of that is in a pile near to the cabin and the rest is in the wood shed. We also cut and split some oak trees for future firewood. That green wood is NOT seasoned and will not be ready for use as firewood until about next June. It will barely burn at all until seassoned. Map attached. ……..Officially, it's the "Potic Creek" but one of our guests from Europe liked the location so much she named it Poetic Creek in her 2014 review. It is an idyllic getaway for those who appreciate nature. It is about 25 miles north of Woodstock; about 2 hour drive from the GWB. . . . . . When we started thinking about the possibility of sharing a cabin a decade ago, the question was, how can we do it? It is an hour and a half round trip from our home, so traveling to the cabin after every guest was not feasible. To make it work, we ask guests to bring their sleeping bags [or sheets and blankets] and towels, and “leave it as you found it.” We figured most guests who were interested in this type of retreat would be respectful of the next guest, and that has been true. We ask, if you cannot make a commitment to leave the cabin clean and tidy for the guest after you, and take with you any trash and empty water bottles, please don’t book a stay here. Once a month or so, we check out the cabin, restock supplies, and do any cleaning that’s needed. As in any cabin in the woods, mice do get in. If that would bother you, please don’t book a stay here. When we see evidence of them, we set traps and get rid of them, but before long they're back. …….Pets: Your dog is OK. Our two Yorkies love it there, we do not charge a pet fee. Due to past problems of guests with cat allergies, we do not accept cats. We do ask that if you bring your dog, that you do a thorough cleaning to remove hair and, that you not have your dog on the bed, unless you bring a sheet or blanket large enough to cover it. This is on the honor system, please respect other guests. …….At the cabin are plates, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, a French press coffee maker, T paper, paper towels, dish detergent, and candles, A Coleman 2 burner stove for cooking and spare propane canisters for it. Since it is an essential item, even though they are quite reliable, we keep a spare Coleman in the shed that has the porta potties. As it is camping, you will need sleeping bags, [there are a couple of quilts at the cabin so you could bring queen size sheets and pillowcases] and towels - and having a flashlight is a good idea, essential if you are arriving after dark. Bring what you would for any camping trip - matches, newspaper for starting the fire, and drinking water. In front of the cabin there’s a stone fire place and with a grill. We provide cut seasoned firewood. The firewood is provided for heating the cabin with the wood stove. Outdoors, only make a fire in the fire place in front of the cabin only, nowhere else. There is a small BBQ there. If you wish to use that, bring charcoal. ……. To repeat, please do not make outdoor fires other than in the outside fire place in front of the cabin. If you cook on the outside fireplace grill, it's best to split firewood to 1 1/2 to 3 inch diameter. Smaller sized firewood burns hotter and more quickly get to embers good for cooking. There is a maul [splitting ax] at the cabin. …….Bringing newspaper and matches for fire starting. There is an excellent, efficient Napoleon airtight wood stove for heating. It has a glass front door, so you can watch the fire burning. We will send instructions in case you are not familiar with the use of airtight wood stoves. Safety note: Do NOT use fire starting fluid in the wood stove, it is dangerous and can damage the stove. . . . . There is a small shed with 2 porta potties about 100 feet from the cabin. . . . . THE ROAD: The wood road in is a mile long. It’s a bit rough, but not a problem to drive in as far as the parking spot for the cabin. [We can drive in in our Prius, which is quite low to the ground, but do need to drive slowly in a few places]. Over the years, two guests [out of a few hundred] have told us they felt the road too rough. The parking spot is 250 feet from the cabin. The road from the parking area to the cabin is rough and steep, so without 4 wheel drive with good ground clearance, walk this last part. …….ROAD IN WINTER: Heavy snow would prevent you from staying at the cabin, and in that case we give a full refund or a rain check, at your option. With any snow, you will need to park at the parking area and walk the last 250 feet to the cabin. For more than an inch or two, 4 wheel drive is needed. If there is significant snow, it’s a good idea to have a shovel. A "snow depth" map is available at http://www.weatherstreet.com/city_snow_depth/12414-Catskill-NY-snow-depth.htm On that map, the cabin is a few miles southwest of Hudson New York. ……..HEAT: The woodstove is efficient and heats the cabin well. Firewood is provided. We have been there when outside temperature was 20 degrees and been fine. ……..Water: The water from the river – and any surface water – would have bacteria and not be suitable for drinking unless purified. If the water is purified, it is potable. We provide a few ways to purify the water, but even so, we recommend bringing some drinking water. We have at the cabin a “Steripen,” which is an ultraviolet water purifier that will purify a liter in 90 seconds. As a backup to the UV purifier, there are “Aquatabs” -- tablets that purify a liter in a half an hour. Bringing water to a boil will also kill any bacteria. …….Toilet facilities:. There is a porta potty in a nearby shed. …….CELL PHONE SERVICE: We sometimes get service on our cell phones there – IT DEPENDS ON YOUR PROVIDER. We have ATT and Cricket. Reception is intermittent and weak, so often we have to walk up the hill to the parking area to get service. ……In addition to the queen bed in the bedroom, there is a queen size air bed. There is a foot operated air pump. ……..If you note that any essentials are getting low, please let us know so we can re-stock them. We can’t guarantee all are in stock, so bring essentials. ……. We have installed a timer on the lighting circuit at the cabin. This is to prevent the problem some guests have caused by leaving the lights on when they leave and draining the battery. So you will now see a timer mounted next to the solar control panel and storage battery. By turning the knob clockwise, it turns the lights on for up to an hour. A small inconvenience, perhaps, but better than having a guest come and find no electric. …….After you book the cabin, we will email maps, instructions, a primer on starting campfires, key information, etc. Best to print them out and take them with you. If they don't arrive by email within a couple hours of booking, please let us know. …….To reiterate: If you wish to stay in this cabin, please be prepared to leave it clean and take away your trash. We cannot travel there between every guest's visit. We can only re-stock and clean it periodically, if you are not prepared to do housekeeping at the end of your stay, please don't book it. Since once or twice a year, a guest doesn’t clean up or take their trash with them, if that should happen, we ask that you deal with the issue and send us a bill, we will reimburse you for your time. If the possibility of coming to a cabin that the last guest has not cleaned ……..Thank you. Andrew Peck and Chloe Dresser ……. Texting AND emailing to BOTH of us is the best way to reach one of us if you have a question. We live in a remote cabin where phone reception is only occasional, but texts and emails reach us. ……... 2018 Update: …….Mice are a fact of life in a country cabin. Periodically, we set traps and get rid of them, but soon enough, more get in. If seeing a mouse or their droppings, would bother you, the cabin is not for you. . …….A guest sent us a favorable review a couple of years ago, which we copy here, not to toot our own horn, but because it serves to reiterate and emphasize some points that prospective guests should not overlook: ______________________________________ “This cabin is the perfect get away from the hustle of the city. The rustic cabin is totally secluded and right next to a small creek. There is . . . a queen bed, two chairs, and a wood stove. The bed is open to the kitchen and living room. There is a large dining table, two burner stove, and sink. There are plenty of pots and pans, a few glasses, and a few utensils. There is a cooler to keep things chilled. There is a large screened in porch that overlooks the creek. . . . There is an outhouse [outhouse changed to a porta potty in 2018] several yards from the house. Toilet paper, paper towels, candles, hand soap, and detergent is provided. Firewood was also provided and very much appreciated. The wood stove keeps you very warm in the house, and there is also a fire pit in front of the cabin. The solar power provides enough power to light the cabin in the evenings and keep your cell phone charged. Bring your own pillows, bedding, and towels. NOTE- The cabin is at the bottom of a steep hill. You must have a 4-wheel drive or you will not be able to get back up the hill. Park your car at the top of the hill and walk down. There is an honor system when it comes to cleaning the cabin. Make sure and leave the cabin clean and inviting for the next guests. Let the owner know if things need to be restocked. Catskill is less than 10 miles away and has a nice grocery store, Wal-Mart, and plenty of restaurants. Happy Camping!!!” .---------------------------------------------------------------- ……..The property is owned by Dresser Properties LLC. Your hosts are Chloe Dresser and Andrew Peck
We love that it is so remote and private, at the very end of a mile long wood road. If there's snow, it won't be plowed, you would need a four wheel drive to reach it in the snow. If you book it and there's snow so you can't reasonably drive in, we will give a rain check [snow check?] or a full refund - your choice. The road is passable by all but very low to the ground cars, except for the last 300 feet to the cabin which is steep, and should not be driven down unless you have four wheel drive. Before that steep part, there is a parking area.
  • What you would expect from a cabin in the woods. I loved the location. The mice are friendly but can make some noise at night. Overall a great peaceful getaway.

    Adrian2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Andrew is a great host. He communicated very well from the start of our booking. Instructions were clear and detailed and we had no problems during our stay. Due to the snow he arranged for us to stay closer to Woodstock in another property rather than completely cancel our trip! Thanks

  • A little piece of paradise.

  • Amazing place

    Cristian2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend staying at this cabin. It is similar to camping, so expect something like a very cozy camping experience. You need to know how to make a fire. I stayed in October-- the foliage was amazing, and the cabin gets extremely cozy and warm with the fireplace. I'd worried about cleanliness and supplies, but there were plenty, and it seems people honor the system and clean up after themselves. If you want a private, beautiful, escape where you can fall asleep to the sound of a creek-- go for it!

    Ana2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful rustic cabin in an amazing setting. Not for those who don’t enjoy roughing it, though!

    Sara2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Peaceful, beautiful little cabin in the woods. It really felt like heaven. I will note that the drive in is really rough, so please bring your 4 wheel drive! However, well worth it.

    Sara2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Very private secret special getaway. The road at the end was a bit tricky indeed but we managed it. The fire place was so cozy and felt really far away from the city which is what we wanted. Would come back again! Andrew was very responsive and had good recommendations!

The tiny house sits on an extensive plot offering a waterfall and water frontage, a dog park, and firepit. The area is close to Hudson, Catskill, and a 25-minute drive to Saugerties and Woodstock. Lovely Leeds is the closest town.
  • It was better than I thought , although it was a tiny house it was actually super spacious. Inside was clean & nice ! The scenery was beautiful I didn’t want to leave ! I’m already planning a stay for June ! The baby goats were my favorite I missed out on the waterfall but I’ll get to see it in June! thanks so much Majorie & Melissa it was super peaceful !

  • I can’t recommend this place enough, we had a wonderful stay at “the flat”. The tiny house itself was spotless, adorable and comfortable. Plenty of space for my fiancé and I plus our dog. We love how dog friendly it was - he had an incredible time as well. The grounds are beautiful with nice trails, the friendliest goats and chickens to play with and a gorgeous waterfall. We loved the “snack shack”, it was filled with snacks and local gifts to purchase via your phone or you can leave the cash right in there. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and helpful, and they gave us 6 fresh eggs from the chickens upon arrival. They were very communicative with emails and texts about check in, helpful tips about the resort and checkout. Even in the winter we had so much fun, but we’d love to return in the summer when we can swim and kayak in the creek. If you are considering booking this treat do it, you won’t regret it!

  • This is an amazing house with everything you need and more ! It is cozy in the winter and adventurous in the summer. Highly recommend for 1-2 days ! Also the hosts are amazing and communicative. Dog friendly !

  • My wife and I were very happy with our tiny home and property. The home itself was extremely comfortable, well decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. The property was beautiful and nice to just walk around and visit the creek, waterfalls, or different animals. It was the first trip we took our 5 month old puppy on and they really go out of their way to make it dog friendly in case you want to bring along your pet. Overall very positive experience and we will come back.

    Mark2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • The Flat is so comfortable, cozy, quiet and complete with an amazing view. Everything in the house (toilet, shower, kitchen etc) worked perfectly. We toured the grounds and got to greet the goats, ducks and chickens (we even came home with some fresh chicken eggs!). We'll definitely be back!

    Talia2019-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing property and our tiny home , the Flat, was perfect for what we needed!! (We know what we’ll be retiring into!) But in all seriousness, I have nothing bad at all to say about this place and we will definitely be back!! Because we stayed in the winter, they did a hot toddy/beverage truck in the evenings and offered some delicious choices which were greatly appreciated for our movie and show watching!! Everything was clean and organized, and we utilized the snack shack on site for some emergency maple syrup! There is plenty to do on the property but also listen to their suggestions for activities nearby. I’ll be recommending this place probably until I die, so if you’re wondering if you should splurge, please do so!

    Emily2018-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I stayed at the flat and it was such a cozy time. It was our first tiny house experience and we want to come back! The waterfall was beautiful, the view of the creek was refreshing, and once we were in the home we didn’t want to leave. We definitely want to come back during the warmer weather.

Bonner Lodge is our secret little hideaway (well, not that little at 2,500 square feet) in the Hudson Valley/Catskills area of upstate New York. We first learned of this former Girl Scout Camp lodge through friends who purchased and renovated a portion of the original camp next door as their weekend getaway. An architect and designer from New York City, these friends had us up to their unbelievably stylish "camp" and we fell in love--not only with their preppy-chic Girl Scout cabins, lawn parties, and design aesthetic, but also the Town of Catskill, the mountains, the ski resorts, the local produce stand--all of it! It was such a magical escape from the fast-paced-pound-the-pavement life that we lead back in the city. So, when we found out that the original camp lodge, that housed all the girls' (and boys from the nearby brother camp) church services and stage performances was up for sale, we knew we had to buy it. And who better to renovate the lodge and bring it into a modern day structure? The architect and the designer. And a year and half later, Bonner Lodge, with it's magnificent stone fireplace, is a warm, 3 bedroom log cabin, with 2 full bathrooms, a spacious and stylish kitchen, a very large, open main living + dining room, and covered porch for alfresco dining or sunset cocktails. We have listed several pictures for you to get a sense of Bonner Lodge and our personal style. But Adirondack, Mid Century, Modern, Warm, Comfortable--all fit the feel and style of the lodge. A few highlights: Kitchen -- fully stocked chef's kitchen with ALL your needs (and if something is needed or missing, please let us know) Bedrooms -- each bedroom (2 queen + 1 twin) has two sets of linens + great light; the 2 queen bedrooms have A/C units for the summer months and brand new high quality mattresses, the twin has a window and fan and pulls AC from the main room when door kept open. Window Seat -- custom built down cushions provide an unbelievably cozy relaxation spot and serves as two extra "twin" mattresses for spillover sleeping (kids LOVE this nook) Fireplace -- the focal point of the lodge and our personal fav Guest Bathroom -- boasts a brand new rain shower + all new fixtures and a gorgeous skylight Master Bathroom -- also brand new fixtures + a Japanese inspired tub with a shower and a window that gives a sense of taking a shower outside Washer + Dryer -- in the back hallway for you to use during your stay Dining Room -- open to the Main Living Room, it seats 16 Outdoor Grill -- please bring up charcoal/lighter fluid etc Bonner Lodge is a place to relax, cook, and spend time with family and friends. Playing board games, relaxing by the fire after a day at the nearby ski resorts, or cooking a Thanksgiving meal is what the property is made for. It also provides a wonderful home base to explore the gorgeous and historic Catskill Mountain Region--hikes, trails, creeks, waterfalls, ski resorts. Perfect for an artist or writer or outdoor sports enthusiast or nature lover or a family with kids. There are a few AMAZING towns all within 10 to 20 minutes of Bonner: 1. Saugerties -- huge 24 hour grocery store, home to HIT Horse shows, high end hotel for spill over family, fun local bars with great burgers and beer, movie house, the local gym, cute stores and one of my fav restaurants Miss Lucy's, with it's perfect Blood Orange Margarita 2. Woodstock -- yes, THE Woodstock. Quaint artist town with amazing eateries and festivals and music and antiquing 3. Hudson -- high end shopping, great food, gourmet grocer, the perfect wine & cheese shop, art galleries, beautiful antique stores, an Amtrak station, a great "have an evening on the town" town 4. Catskill -- another 24 hour grocery store, 24 hour diner (our breakfast go-to), Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, CVS: all things needed for modern civilization; also an historic downtown area with cuteness abounding Bonner Lodge is about 1 hour and 40 minutes from New York City. 40 minutes from Albany. An easy and cheap Amtrak ride from Boston or New York CIty. A few things we'd like for you to know: We have two cabins out back of the lodge. They are currently being used as storage for us and they are certainly not renovated or habitable, but they are there and can be seen and we want you to know that. One day soon, we will paint, and update, and get them ready for a ping-pong table and extra sleeping cabins. We are just not there yet. We love this lodge immensely. Although new homeowners, along with our family and friends, we have enjoyed wonderful weeks and holidays here. We want the same unique experience for you as well. Bonner Lodge loves to be lived in. I'm sure you have tons of questions, and we have more info to give those interested in booking. Let the process begin. And welcome to Bonner Lodge. P.S. If our lodge is booked, OR, if you have a huge group or family and need BOTH places, please check out our good friend Kevin's place next door. It's got amazing style and great light. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1688089

  • Such an amazing house. Huge great room is beautiful during day with sun streaming in through windows and skylights, and equally beautiful at night with all of the well-designed, soft lighting and massive fireplace. The property is equally lovely.

  • This may be the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Christopher and Geoffrey were so thoughtful, quick to respond and accommodating. They turned lights on and made it cozy for our arrival, had wonderful touches everywhere that we enjoyed. It’s the coziest house and we stayed with our kids and dog and felt the perfect balance of stylish and comfortable. They have everything you could need and it’s an easy drive to Hudson, Hunter, and Woodstock. Thank you so much!! We will be back for sure!

    Heather2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • You know that super chic home of your dreams in the Catskills? This is it. The home was even more stunning than the pictures and an amazing retreat for a weekend away from the city. The decor is beautiful, the house is fully stocked and pristine and Christopher and Geoffrey are excellent and responsive hosts. They've truly thought of everything and are beyond welcoming. Our best rental thus far. We can't wait to come back again!

    Megan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is my favorite AirBNB I’ve stayed at. It’s an awesome cabin in the woods with a huge fireplace, great cookware, lots of good books, beautiful design, comfortable furniture and many thoughtful touches. It is a private and peaceful place to sneak away for a few days. I wished I’d had more time to explore the area and check out more of Christopher and Geoffrey’s recommendations but the places we did go to were great. Also their housekeeper does an amazing job to keep the place very clean and comfortable.

    Karen2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time back to this beautiful home and it was even more lovely than I remembered. There were a few new designs updates that were gorgeous. The home is truly out of the pages of Elle Decor. We had every amenity we could possibly need. The space was spotless when we arrived and Christopher and Geoffrey were such fabulous hosts. They take great care to leave the most amazing and thoughtfully curated itinerary that we followed to a tee, not to mention, very clear instructions on anything we would need for the home. Several friends of mine are booking follow up stays and I will be as well. I highly, highly recommend this beautiful upstate retreat :)

    Diana2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge was so beautiful with such great attention to detail. The kitchen was a chefs dream with everything you could ever need to make delicious dinners. The fireplace provided a great vibe in the huge living room for us all to hang out in. I would highly recommend

    Kerry2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Christopher and Geoffrey are amazing hosts. The home is everything you could want for a cozy weekend away-- a short drive to several cute towns, but secluded and cozy. There are so many thoughtful details in this home, nice appliances and cookware, and all the creature comforts that are often missing from a rental property. Christopher and Geoffery are communicative and flexible- cannot recommend this spot enough.

    Emily2020-01-20T00:00:00Z

  • Great getaway in the Catskills! Perfect location to lots of hiking and outdoor activities. 7 min drive to town. Super clean and Lisa was very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful stay.

  • Lisa was a great host! The place was super clean very relaxing and calm we loved it. We can’t wait to go back!

    Sylvia2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • On our first morning at Lisa’s place, I was awaken by a gentle light coming through the window above the headboard. I got up and I was greeted by this lovely sunrise peeking through the woods on a winter morning. The trees were silhouette to yellow, orange, purple and blue skies. Awesome place! Spacious. Clean. Comfy bed and couch. Little details spoke to me like the wooden furniture in the kitchen with hand-painted sun, the Flower Child art on the wall, and the books on the shelves. Lisa communicates quick and we had a warm welcome. We’ll definitely go back!

    Gail2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is a great host. The apartment was sparkling clean and convenient. We look forward to staying here again on our next ski trip!

A fire pit with more chairs is tucked into the woods on the side of the property.
The house is at the end of a quiet cul de sac so you don't have to worry about any traffic. Even though it feels secluded, it's only a 10 minute drive to the quaint village of Catskill and many other attractions. The 5 acre lot is covered with mature trees and very little under brush if you wish to explore the property. Down the hill and across the road from the house there is a waterfall and creek which you can explore and you can also access numerous hiking trails, allowing you to set off on your hike directly from the house. There is a lot of wildlife in the area, including deer, foxes, bears, birds and numerous chipmunks, so please keep a look out as you explore the property and do not leave any food or garbage unattended outside. If you're looking for things to do in the surrounding area, we have a guest book that you'll see when you arrive with restaurant recommendations. You can quickly reach the towns of Saugerties or Hudson for antiquing and the well known town of Woodstock is also close by. The house is close to both Hunter and Windham mountains which feature skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. There are golf courses in the area and river tubing and white water rafting. The Hudson river is close by and there are a few different places in Catskill where you can rent kayaks to take out on the river.
  • We absolutely loved staying in Dustin's airbnb. It was comfortable, clean, bright with everything we needed for a weekend away. The bedrooms were so cozy and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and grill. The kitchen was stocked and it was very easy to let ourselves in. I would highly recommend this for a group getaway.

  • Beautiful home, great view from the hot tub, good game selection, very clean and fantastic cooking amenities. Lots of throw blankets and other extra touches!

    Dan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible space for a relaxing, serene stay in the Catskills with every amenity you could want. These hosts thought of everything- from multiple coffee makers to great cooking equipment to a fabulous hot tub to soft, silky sheets. We can't recommend this place enough. Romantic for a couple, and very comfortable for a large group too.

    Raymond2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Dustin's house is an incredibly beautiful and luxurious getaway in the Catskills. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, and there are myriad thoughtful touches throughout the house, from the outdoor blankets to the boardgames + TV with streaming services. All with an incredible view of the mountains and an amazing hot-tub out back. Would 100% stay again.

    Kyle2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • My fiance, and soon to be brother and sister in law had the best weekend in this gorgous and spotless house. The views, the secludedness, the unbelievably comfy bed, and the house in general was beyond perfect! And Dustin is such a wonderful host, he had no problem letting us check in early and check out later, he was so helpful! And what a cozy and yet stylish home he has, we will definitely be back, we loved it!!

    L2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • All the other reviews are not wrong! The house, location, views, and Dustin himself, were all pretty much all my wife and I could have asked for. Super clean and modern, super quiet, plenty of space, incredible views, THE MOST AMAZING OUTDOOR HOTUB, etc... Even the guide book was super helpful and detailed, and we relied on it a few times when we adventured in the nearby towns. Highly recommended! I bet it's just as gorgeous with a totally different vibe and experience in the summer - We might be back! Thank you Dustin!

  • A beautiful, comfortable, luxe house with incredible views. We were there during a snowstorm and it was very cozy to curl up by the fire and watch the snow fall. Dustin had made sure the driveway was plowed daily, so we had no trouble driving in or out. We really enjoyed our stay!

  • Margie and Melissa's Think Big! A Tiny House Resort is a fantastic idea and in such a great location. The Mizu overlooks a creek and everything about the house was perfect! We stayed for only one night but wished it was longer. We had complementary fresh eggs in the morning and Margie really thought everything through -- if you forgot any groceries or want to play a card game, they have a "Snack Shack" with everything you could think of, including a bunch of board games! They also have an area to purchase firewood, and everything is conveniently paid via Venmo or cash. We had a great time hanging out with the goats and enjoyed hiking around Catskills Mountains. Would definitely recommend and come here again.

A cozy private guest cottage on our 150 year old farm, nestled amidst lovely gardens and bordered by the ever-flowing Kaaterskill creek. Near to Saugerties, Woodstock, Catskill, and just down stream from the Kaaterskill Falls.
A beautiful, private guest cottage on a quiet back country road set amidst perennial gardens and meadows on the ever-flowing Kaaterskill creek within close proximity to Saugerties, Palenville, Woodstock, and Catskill (we are also only 20 minutes from Hunter Mountain for great skiing!). A lovely, sunny bedroom filled with books, a living room with a Vermont Castings propane wood-stove for cool evenings (or romantic ambience). The Cottage has a full bathroom, and a nice kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, fridge, sink), supplied with coffee and coffeemaker, a nice selection of teas, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. A private screened-in porch looks out over the back gardens down towards the creek where you will find a cabin and a treehouse (which you are welcome to hang out in, and the waterfalls, the sound of which will lull you to sleep at night). Wifi, TV with DVD (and loads of great movies), or Netflix instant via Roku player. The Cottage also has a laundry-room with a washer and dryer, if needed. Stroll the extensive gardens and meadow, cool off in the creek or hang out with a good book in the cabin or the treehouse, or have a fire in the fire pit. Visit one of Palenville's many nearby swimming holes, hike the mountains (10 minute drive to Kaaterskill Falls), or in winter, ski at nearby Hunter Mountain (20 minutes). 10 minutes to both Saugerties and Catskill, 20 minutes to Woodstock and Kingston. 5 minutes to Palenville. The Cottage is located on our 150 year old farm, and was once part of an extensive turn of the century summer camp. We have a number of cats and heartily welcome guests with pets. All our buildings are filled with books, so read on! We are both fairly recent ex-New Yorkers; artists, musicians, writers, animal lovers, and gardeners and very respectful of privacy. There is also a separate driveway and parking spot for the cottage.
Our neighborhood is peaceful. Most of our neighbors are ex-New Yorkers like us who have found this beautiful and peaceful place and don't want to leave. Lovely walks in any direction you go, all on very quiet one lane back country roads. Mountain vistas, a Beaver pond, and waterfalls all abound within easy walks from the cottage. You can also just chill out in the cabin by the creek and watch the water go by... Or in the new treehouse!
  • fun place. wouldn't recommend the house for someone super tall.

  • Extremely cozy space. Everything is clean and comfortable and the place is wonderfully charming. Communication is clear and all the common kitchen/bathroom amenities you would expect. The room with the fireplace is lovely for hanging out and reading or writing.

  • The pictures don’t do Harry’s cottage justice. It’s super funky, cute, and charming. The space is tiny but perfect for a couple. We always feel like we can barely use the space of some of these larger (and much more expensive) Airbnb’s. The property is awesome and Harry was super communicative and nice. Highly recommended!

    Mary2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, amazing garden, close to Woodstock and nearby hikes. Harry is super friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed our trip thoroughly and my dog loved running around his big back yard.

    Heather2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very cozy weekend and enjoyed everything very much. It was exactly what we needed! Lots to do in the area. We explored woodstock, nearby tibetan buddhist monastery, went skiing. Made some delicious meals. Wish we had more time!

    Kathy2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Harry's place is beautiful! Me and my friend stayed in the winter, so it was a bit too cold for us to fully enjoy the outdoors of the property. But the cottage is cozy enough, the closest town has a lot to explore, and the environment of the Catskills was so beautiful that we never felt like we were missing out at any point. Harry was always accommodating, including when we thought we would have an extra guest, but they had to cancel last minute. He put out extra bedding and was incredibly understanding when we had a change of plan. I highly recommend staying with Harry and I hope to return sometime when it's warmer!

  • After the first holiday we spent together at Harry's, we vowed to make it a tradition of the season. Well, a wedding, two master's degrees (well, almost 2!!), and an 8-month old baby later, and we just made our FOURTH visit to Harry's place!! Cozy and warm in the cottage or outdoors by the (rapidly rolling) stream, there is no better way to spend a lazy winter day. So many memories here, and are looking forward to the next time. Still haven't been here in the summer!

  • First off, this is hands down the most adorable, quirky, peaceful home I’ve ever stayed at. It has a plethora of books, artistic touches around the place, and plenty of amenities. We didn’t get to cook, but there were plenty of spices and dishes to use if we had wanted to. Even the bathroom was stocked with everything you could think of (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tums, floss, etc)! When we first got there, we spent at least an hour looking around, admiring the antiques, the books, the decor. The bathroom has one of those old fashioned keys from Alice in Wonderland...little details like that were around the place. Outside has even more to explore; there’s a beautiful creek in the back with a treehouse, zen garden, chairs, and sculptures. The place is clean and cozy. I was very appreciative of the fireplace and heat—Despite it being freezing outside, the cottage was extremely warm and we were able to monitor the temperature to our liking. It was exactly what we were looking for; we wanted something close to nature and away from the hustle and bustle of cities and hotels. There was plenty of privacy, but Harry was also available if we needed him. We got to talk to Harry at the end and he was super chill and friendly. He was also very accommodating to us and easy going. There is SO MUCH to do here. The nearby town, Sagguerties (spelling may be wrong) is only a 15 minute drive and has a downtown area with plenty of cafes, shops, stores (make sure to stop by Love Bites...had to go two days in a row the food was so good). There are hikes and trails everywhere; not to mention historic sites like Opus 40. The people here are extremely polite and laid back, my boyfriend and I talked to so many locals and we couldn’t believe how friendly everyone was. Even hiking we had conversations with everyone we passed. The area around this Airbnb is gorgeous, filled with lovely people, and overall has plenty of activities to do. Next time we definitely want to do more hikes and check out the breweries and wineries. The fall season here was wonderful, and we have plans on coming back for the summer to do more outdoor activities. Overall, 10/10 recommend.

  • Place had everything we needed. We went snowboarding, great location if you wanna hit the local slopes. Close enough to Woodstock, so we went to spend an afternoon there.

  • This cabin was so beautifully and thoughtfully done and at an amazing location inside the ranch. It has everything you need for a perfect stay and I would highly recommend it. Patrick was always reachable and quick to respond to any questions you have. The ranch owner Gary was great and I enjoyed the 1 hour horse ride on the mountain provided by Troy. Troy was very friendly and had great insights of the mountains while horse riding, I recommend a 1 hour ride it was totally worth it. I would visit again!

    Samuel2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Patrick and Erins cabin was exactly what I was looking for. They are super communicative and helpful at every possible turn. Woodstock is so close and the hikes around the area are beautiful!

    Yael2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is located on the grounds of a zoo. Have coffee in the morning next to a camel? Pet a horse? See a couple Bengal Tigers? Absolutely! The place was rustic as described and could have benefited from a few more plates, but the space is funky and fun and exactly why AirBNB is such a great way to travel. There aren't any grocery stores near by (that I found at least) and you will definitely want to have a car rather than taking a Lyft from the train station since there isn't much in walking distance. By our third night this cabin felt like home. Enjoy!

    Sam2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is set within a stunning woodland. Incredible hiking & trail running opportunities - we headed to Kaaterskills Waterfalls which was a brilliant day out! The cabin is basic, though has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It’s well decorated & the quirky touches make you feel at home. Well recommend!

    Ed2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The ranch was great! 🐎

    Barbara2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is adorable! It’s super close to the animals which is awesome. One thing to keep in mind is the constant animal sounds and children playing which didn’t bother me but may bother other people! I definitely recommend this cabin for the perfect Catskills getaway

    Hallie2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • They call it cozy, but I call it spacious. big bed, full kitchen, nice sofa, lovely floors, and a great porch. Gary and his son both very helpful. Personally, I love the nearby presence of animals: horses, baby goats, peacocks, roosters, and two rescue tigers in the zoo! Patrick and Erin very responsive. Thanks!

  • Kim’s cottage is clean and comfortable! We loved utilizing the entire space for a long weekend in January including relaxing in the hot tub, cooking meals in the kitchen, and lounging about watching Netflix in the living area. It is very accessible to all the cute shops, restaurants and bars of Woodstock. A big plus for us was being able to bring our pups, making it feel like home. We didn’t want to leave!

  • Billy’s place was an excellent choice for our stay in Germantown! It was so close to town, and the recommendation of Gaskins was absolutely on point! The cottage was so warm and cozy on a cold February night, and so wonderfully light filled in the morning. It was so clean, everything had great instructions, and check in/out was a breeze. We are already talking about our next trip up later this summer and can not recommend this place enough.

    Emily2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Billy was remarkably friendly and helpful- like an old friend would be. Adorable little cottage, thoughtfully appointed, down the road from wonderful shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this cozy little place.

  • Beautiful, very clean house with a great vintage modern design and a lovely yard. Very cozy with a fireplace and the perfect weekend escape - close to Kingston, Hudson, Saugerties and the Catskills. Our only critique is that there was limited TV channels (mostly Disney/family/religious options) and no streaming service available such as Netflix, so bring DVDs to watch if you plan on spending some time indoors.

    Steven2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Joyce's place is just so charming and welcoming. We have stayed here a few times already and the family totally loves it. Krystal2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • What a one-of-a-kind place. This is definitely a place to go if you have a love and appreciation for music and all things creative. My friend and I loved how close we were to downtown, too. The apartment was incredibly easy to access with a door code. Once inside, we marveled at the wonderful decor, and were greeted with a sweet note from our host. All the beds were comfortable, the fridge was stocked with essentials, and the bathroom had the amenities we needed to freshen up after our long trip. Our host invited us to her restaurant and gave us a few tips on places to go around town. She was incredibly warm, as well as responsive when we requested a few items. Next time I'm up in Catskill, I will be staying here. Thanks again for your hospitality!

    Ashley2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Martina'a place was lovely for a weekend out of the city. Very cozy and felt secluded but also close to town and fun stuff to explore. Gaskins was lovely for dinner. The kitchen is actually quite usable and we made multiple meals there - just make sure you pack all your groceries in. There is coffee, sugar and salt and pepper but nothing else. Martina was so responsive on text and made check in/ check out a breeze.

    Sarah2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Martina’s spot is a peaceful gem in the middle of nature. We were lucky enough to have a lot of snow in the first day and beautiful blue skies on the following 2. The scenery was just breathtaking. Hudson is quite close so we went out to check some of the nice restaurants there. But the accommodation itself was just so cosy that we bought stuff to cook so we could spend more time in the studio enjoying the view. The communication with Martina was also great, and she was ready to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

It’s located in the Catskill village which is cute and quaint but not much to do on a weekday when I went. But conveniently, it’s about a 10 minute drive from Hudson which was more of a lively town. As you can see by the photos, Marble rock is a very scenic and special place and is loved by local Leeds residents past and present. Once you see it, you will understand. This section of the Catskill creek is where it reaches its narrowest and then it's widest point at the millpond.
Less than 1.5 miles from the N.Y.S. Thruway is the most amazing little getaway you will ever find. Pull your car into a private driveway step 10 feet to the door of a classic 1991 Lindy motorhome. The RV sits on a private 1/8 acre lot with trails leading to the best swimming hole in the state.
I have lived in and own the Hodgepodge Shop in Leeds for 13 years and plan on staying put. In about a half mile you have "Gracies" a super successful Farm to table retro Diner with homade everything, and a beautiful view to boot. Leeds Yoga, Betty's Diner, Art at Leeds, Mountain bakery, The inn at Leeds, Hartland on Hudson Coffee house, and the Marble Rock house with an exciting menu and local live music, there is a laundromat being built as I write.
  • Such an awesome experience being by the water in a RV. It was the perfect weekend getaway and Ray was a delight! Will be back in the summer for sure.

    Cheryl2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Ray is very helpful and his RV is on a beautiful piece of land in a small town. My kids had a blast.

    Eric2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • The RV is really magical. While we were there it rained in the afternoon, and we stayed inside reading and writing. The place felt very cozy. The RV is also on a piece of land that's fun to explore (including the river!) Staying at Ray's really sold us on the idea of living in an RV for a while.

  • Ray’s RV was the perfect getaway spot from the city. My husband and I enjoyed the nice and quiet. Our dogs loved running around. The Catskill Creek was great. The RV was nice and clean. It had a lot more amenities than we thought it would have! Looking forward to coming back again

  • This was a great little place next to the creek, tucked away from an awesome little town. Definitely recommend!

    Heather2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • AWESOME camper in a gorgeous location. Highly recommended. Ray gave a great tour of the lot, you can tell he really cares about having his guests feel at home.

    Robbie2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Perfect for young couples to disconnect with their busy lives and getaway with one another. The beautiful creek completed our stay. Ray was so fun to talk to, and so willing to recommend fun things to do and restaurants for us to go to. Will definitely be returning!

  • Caitlin's place is amazing. The place is so cozy and the design and touches to the place are beautiful. There is a bathtub so it was nice to be able to take a bath after a long day of snowboarding. I would definitely stay there again!

  • Lovely little place in the centre of Catskill, highly recommended

    Fred2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful! It’s centrally located in Catskill so getting to Hudson is super quick and easy. Driving to the mountains is also easy and Jeannette and Caitlin gave some great recommendations for hikes! The bed is super comfy, the space is clean and cozy. One of my favorite parts of the trip was taking a bubble bath in the claw foot tub after a hike :) When I left my keys in the room by accident Caitlin was quick to get back to me and helped me back in. If you want to spend a few days in a peaceful, beautiful town this spot is perfect ! Thanks so much again!

  • This place is a MUST STAY! It is in the perfect location near the water, restaurants, bars, and local stores. The hosts are an amazing duo they answer messages right away, give great local tips, and provide a safe/clean listing. To anyone worried about the “upstairs noise” noted in many other reviews, there truly is not much. It is footsteps because this apartment is the bottom one. However it was not disturbing at all. This is also the safest I have ever felt in an Airbnb listing. If you are looking, stop here and book now!

  • Gorgeous rental right on Main Street! Incredibly comfortable bed and stylish room. Super responsive host. 10/10 recommend!

    Annie2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Caitlin's place was amazing. The apartment is right outside of the main street, making it easy to grab coffee or delicious ramen. She gave us awesome recommendations for food and activities to do in the area. This was the perfect spot for our skiing getaway!

    Leah2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Caitlin’s place is stylish and spacious. We had a great time staying at her place while exploring the surrounding area. Check in was easy and there were plenty of parking space.

  • Let’s start with how much Catskill has changed. I never thought a place like this would exist. The Catskills reboot is extending everywhere. This place is, simply put : AMAZING. Very clean, very comfortable, and thoughtful touches throughout making this a very welcoming stay. Walkable town, great parking, and easy to get to. My host Caitlin was awesome. Very responsive and gave me some tips of places to check out. Next time I need to be in the area, this will be at the top of my list. Cheers!

This Catskills log home, with its privacy and stunning views, provides an ideal hub for a getaway! A two hour drive from NYC—with nearby getaways for skiers, hikers, and antiquing—this home now includes a massive deck expansion and 6 person Marquis hot tub for couples looking for the perfect way to relax. The house is lovingly cared for; three bedrooms are furnished with new and comfortable bedding and sectional for 6. Visit us and take in the fresh country air!
We strive to constantly improve this space for guest comfort. Our most recent addition includes a massive deck expansion, which has made room for a new 6 person Marquis hot tub. This place is now ideal for the skiers and hikers that want to return to the cabin to enjoy some hydrotherapy while taking in the view the sunset, or a secluded night sky free of light pollution. (I recommend bringing a telescope especially during the new moon!) During warmer months, enjoy a grill on the deck--there you'll also find a patio picnic table and recliners. Indoors, the space is open to a group of 6 guests with a comfortable sectional and HDTV equipped with Blu-ray (note, no cable or wifi is offered). Our kitchen comes fully equipped with pots, pans, coffee maker, and baking pans. The open dining/living area is especially cozy in winter, when you can enjoy the fireplace. Finally, each bedroom has comfortable queen and king size mattresses.
  • 100% recommend staying here! The house is great, the view is amazing! It feels like you’re in your own little world, in other words the perfect getaway spot. We really enjoyed watching the sunset at night, and the hot tub after dark. The cabin-vibe was exactly what we were wanting, and we definitely got that with this space! The host also responded very quickly with any questions we had.

    Nicole2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Some of the most beautiful views around. The sunsets every evening were spectacular! And you can enjoy them from the hot tub if you please. The layout of the home is perfect...there were 6 of us and it was super comfortable. Nice table for meals and perfect sofa for us all to chill and chat or watch a movie. Oh and the fireplace was a cozy much used touch. Ed is so quick to answer and questions you may have, very helpful. We had the best of times and are already planning a trip for next year! 💙

    Emily2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic time! The place was very clean and it looked exactly like the photos. It was very comfortable and just what we were looking for. Perfect place for a getaway! Great communication from the host!

    Jessica2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect stunning views, a clean home with comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. Hot tub was perfect to sit in after a day of skiing and watching the star filled night sky. Six of us had enough space to spend together or retreat for some alone time. Ed, gave clear instructions and answered all questions in a timely manner. We had a terrific time and will definitely stay again!

    Natasha2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A fun and easy getaway for someone living in NYC. The house was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for 6 guests. The big kitchen and eating area was also great for cooking in. We also loved the hot tub :) All in all very happy with the accommodations/experience and would love to come back again!

    Brian2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • It was a perfect weekend getaway from NYC! The beds were comfortable, jacuzzi was ready for upon arrival, kitchen was fully functional, firewood was available and the view overlooking the mountains was incredible! Thanks Ed!!

    liv2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly what we hoped for. A wonderful space and a wonderful experience.

    Isobel2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful, charming winter lodge located close to a lot of fun activities in the Catskills. Ed's place is beautiful and relaxing with great views, but it's also centrally located and close to a lot of local activities and resources (highway, grocery store, gas, etc). Ed had thought through just about everything and offered extra towels, plenty of fire wood dishes, towels, etc. It snowed several inches during our stay and the driveway was plowed by the early morning. My wife misplaced one of her rings during our stay and Ed had located it and notified us soon after our check-out. In addition, check-in and check-out is flexible, so we were able to enjoy more time in the area and at the house. Can't wait to visit again!

Our home sits on the Hudson River. Nearby are the Catskill Mountains, Hudson, Hunter, Saugerties, Woodstock, and ski destinations. Our homey old farmhouse is not fussy. Beautiful Hudson River views in every season. Great locale for bikers, outdoors folks, stargazers and birders; we see wintering eagles and others that stay with us year-round. This space is good for couples or solo adventurers. There's also a 2 bedroom space at https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/15205661. See "Getting Around".
Lovely, large second floor bedroom has a private entry and also a private bathroom with claw foot tub. Bed is queen size with organic cotton sheets and down comforter and extra pillows. We also have a single cot that is suitable for one child - or mid-sized adult without back problems. Windows look out onto the Hudson River.
Visit Thomas Cole House; Olana; Beatty Powers Place; Time and Space Limited (movies, Metropolitan Opera live (and repeat) simulcasts, National Theater of London live (and repeat) simulcasts, art exhibition space with Linda Mussmann and Claudia Bruce; Helsinki Hudson (fabulous music venue). Endless antiquing and spots to walk, hike, run, bike, kayak, swim or bird-watch.
  • Pat and John were great hosts and their room was cozy, beautiful, and has a gorgeous view of the Hudson! We had a fabulous stay!

    Paula2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at Pat and John's place for one night and wished we could've stay longer. Their farmhouse is lovely and the room is way better than what you see in the pictures. It's uniquely decorated, a quaint haven to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's located in a secluded yet accessible area right in front of the Hudson, you literally wake up and have the river right there. Pat is amazing! Super responsive to all messages, very welcoming and makes you feel at home. She won't let you leave before spotting bald eagles right from the dinning window!! I would 100% recommend their place, you will love it as much as we did!

    Julianna2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Pat and John have a lovely home with a beautiful view of the Hudson River. They were so accommodating and sweet and our room was comfortable and well designed. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday!

    Steven2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous house, gorgeous views, amazingly lovely humans :) It felt like staying with old friends in a familiar and comfortable home. An amazingly lovely and relaxing experience! Seeing the bald eagles in the morning was an added bonus!!

    Kiki2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Pat and John were the BEST hosts. They were polite and welcoming, more than willing to have a conversation but also give you all the space and privacy that you need. They gave us great advice on where to go and what to do in the area. The property is beautiful and isolated enough to be quiet and lovely, but only a few minutes outside of downtown. We decided even before we left that if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely want to stay with Pat and John!

    Kevin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Pat and John were one of the greatest hosts we have ever had. They’re place is what we were hoping for: beautiful wooden home right in front of the river with a gorgeous view. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful. We greatly enjoyed spending the night and talking with them over coffee :) We will get back again.

    Farhad2020-01-12T00:00:00Z

Location, Location, Location! Smiths Point is located directly on the Hudson River providing panoramic stunning views yr round. Sip coffee on the deck while you watch the eagles fly by and yachts motor along. Fish right from the front lawn! Enjoy cocktails in the Gazebo. The area also serves up plenty...dine & shop in the adorable towns of Saugerties, Woodstock, Hudson, Hunter or Catskill, all just a short drive. Or just relax in the hot sauna or steam shower. Honestly, you'll not want to leave.
What makes our home so unique it's a one of a kind property located directly on the majestic Hudson at a spot on the Hudson that provides massive panoramic views. You'll be able to watch both the sunrise and sunset from the property. Truly a very special place on this earth and extraordinary for the Hudson Valley.
Smith's Point is located on a dead end street so traffic is minimal and the neighborhood is super safe.
  • This one is a hidden gem. The location is amazing and the views gorgeous. Joann is such a kind and generous host. I would love to come back again and again just to wake up to the amazing views.

    Neha2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • JoAnn was a wonderful host. Although I have reserved their place in a last minutes call, she was extremely helpful and kind. And the room was simply amazing. Their place is truly a "heaven on earth"! Highly recommended.

    Hiroshi2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't beat this location and those views! On top of that, JoAnn was an extremely helpful and thoughtful host. I have already recommended her place to several of my close friends!

  • The space is cozy and clean, and view is like none other. JoAnn is an amazingly friendly and thoughtful host.

    Kathy2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say?! The home is simply amazing. Upon walking into the home - you certainly feel like the title associated with this home is certainly perfect! It felt as if it was , and will always be, a slice of heaven. JoAnn and Scott are tremendous host- wonderful people. A bottle of Champagne , next to a wonderfully set white roses was such a welcoming gesture upon arriving! The home light was also set to dim and soft music was being played. Simply , PERFECT! For many of us who have asked ourselves if heaven would serve cake ; well, I died and came back to life to talk about it ! Lol , JoAnn also made (quite possibly) the best chocolate fudge no flour added cake I ever had! JoAnna, and Scott also provided wonderful touches during our stay; like sleep blindfolds, robes, and other small thoughtful details. We enjoyed every inch of the home and the near by town is wonderful. Look forward to staying again!

    Marco2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
