  • Great little spot. We came in March, it was still cold but there were very few people there, making it more magical. We had a great time visiting waterfalls and walking in the forest. Highly recommend the spot.

  • LOVED the cabin we stayed in. It was a small space, but very quaint, clean, and had the essentials. Dustin & Keith were very hospitable, quick to respond to messages, and gave us several great local recommendations. The WiFi was not accessible from cabin 8 & tv didn’t work, but personally we enjoyed being unplugged. This is a magical area for winter & summer seasons, so many close/easy/gorgeous nature features! Be prepared that town is several miles away, so stock up on snacks & gas, and snow in winter. There’s a small local market within walking distance with snacks & basic supplies. We are definitely going to return!

    Emily2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Keith and Dustin are excellent hosts and were kind enough to work with me on a last minute booking at 4:00 the day of. The cabin is as described-small but adequate and comfortable with clean restrooms and hot showers close by. Would definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area again!

    Jennifer2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this cozy cabin! We stopped in for one night to hit the hot springs and we had the best time. The cabin was cozy, had a very effective heater, warm beds and mini fridge and microwave. Wr felt so at home. The staff was so friendly and nice, and gave us all the info we needed on getting to the hot springs. We were given lots of towels, shampoo and conditioner and soap, and access to a very clean and convenient bathroom just outside the cabin. I would highly recommend this spot!

  • Wonderful place to stay near crater lake and in the middle of the Umpqua National forest. Great accommodations in an unbelievably beautiful location. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

    Sierra2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • If you are considering whether or not to book: you should!! The cabin was perfect and the host was so accommodating and gave us a different route to the cabin as some roads were closed. Great location for hot springs and the heat worked great in the January cold. Also the bed was REALLY comfortable and we loved that we had our own little front porch

Get away from it all in our cozy cabin on Wood River. Nothing fancy but everything you need. Great for couples, families, fishermen, photographers and anyone who loves a river and peace and quiet. No phone, no tv and no internet help you get away. Your cell may or may not get coverage here. (For urgencies, wifi/landline available in my main house). Watch the wildlife, kayak, splash in the river if you dare (it's cold!), play a game, read a book, enjoy the stunning beauty of this part of Oregon.
Only 6 miles to the boundary of beautiful Crater Lake National Park (22 miles to the Rim Village and Crater Lake Lodge). Within striking distance of golfing (Running Y), gambling (Klamoya Casino), Crater Lake Zip Line (Rocky Point), the Britt Festival (Jacksonville), Oregon Shakespearean Festival (Ashland), and hiking in the Sky Lakes Wilderness. ACCESS: A few times a year, my 0.5-mile drive is impassable to some vehicles due to snow or mud. However, you can always park at the main road and hike the 0.5-mile distance to the cabin. I provide sleds to pull any luggage/belongings on the snow. FOOD: There are many wonderful things around here, but one thing there is not is easy access to food. Jo's Motel in Ft. Klamath has a small, but complete, organic grocery, and Crater Lake Resort has a camp store. Other than that, the nearest small grocery or restaurant is in Chiloquin, 15 miles away. The nearest supermarket is in Klamath Falls, 40 miles away. MOSQUITOS: In warmer months (approximately mid-June through August), the mosquitos can be very bad, especially at dusk. Please be prepared with at least long pants and long sleeves, plus mosquito repellent if you like.
  • Tracy's place was beautiful and calming. Tracy was a great host and easy to get in touch with.

    Lucia2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time staying at Tracy’s cabin. Love the location, and the peacefulness there! Just an FYI, the cabin can’t power a lot of things at once so if you have the little floor heaters on AND the microwave, you’ll most definitely short out the electricity. Nothing that a quick flip of the switch didn’t fix, but just unplug the heaters while you use the microwave!

  • Amazing little cabin. Cozy and very close to Crater Lake.

    Jonathan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for visiting Crater Lake. We had a great time kayaking the river right in front of the cabin. If you're staying in the winter, make sure you know how to work a wood burning stove for heat! We have Verizon and where able to get reception by putting our phones on the dining room windowsill.

    Lindsey2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Tracy's cabin is set back against a pristine river with views of the mountains. It was a peaceful and tranquil place to come back to after a day of snowshoeing at Crater Lake. Relaxing by the wood burning stove and cooking dinner was magical. The quiet and calm of the area was unmatched and really brought you down to the most calm level you could be. The very rustic cabin was cozy and appealing and the beds very comfy. Once you adjusted the finicky shower just right you were able to take a wonderful hot shower. We really enjoyed ourselves here and would like to go back again. There was plenty of pre-cut firewood to burn as we used the stove each night we were there. The property is just beautiful.

The private Ranch "Bunkhouse" sits on a meadow near the horse paddocks & barn w/ views of valley, mountains, & access to gorgeous woodsy hiking trails. The "Bunkhouse" retains the rustic charm of the original Bunkhouse but inside it enjoys new country comfort style & amenities! It's an up-dated large (20X40) open studio/bedroom w/ kitchenette & private bath (clawfoot shower/tub). A king-sized bed & extra twin canopy bed if you have a 3rd traveling with you all in one room. Also, TV and WiFi
The ranch is located 2 1/2 miles (west) outside of the little town of Prospect, near the Rogue River, Lost Creek Lake, and a couple of miles from the beautiful Barr Creek, Mill Creek and Pearsony Falls, and 28 miles to the Crater Lake National Park south entrance. It's on the beautiful scenic side of Crater Lake National Park along the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway. The Bunkhouse is a tranquil and comfy retreat after a day of Southern Oregon recreation. Perfect for solos, couples or with a plus one. Also on the ranch is the horse barn, owner's home, a vacation rental house, and out-buildings, 2 large ponds, and loads of trails (100 acres plus) to explore and wildlife to view.
No neighbors in view. You'll have a private cabin but be sharing the property with us, the horses, one dog, deer, elk, foxes, owls, ducks, geese, and one other guest vacation rental nearby (behind the BunkHouse). The nearby small town of Prospect has a Pizza Parlor, gas station, post office, library, historic Hotel, Prospect Cafe (temporarily closed) and small country market -Prospect Market, and Gorge Cafe. Prospect also boasts three beautiful waterfalls. It's known for wilderness hiking and fishing in the Rogue River. Lost Creek Lake is 10 minutes west. Up the Highway, about 12 miles, is Beckies Cafe (good country cooking and local berry pies). It's the perfect stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner on the way and way back from the Crater Lake National Park.
  • Nice, spacious, beautiful setting! The kitchen was well stocked, which was great since we made a point to only go out for hikes and otherwise ate on the trail or cooked our own meals. It was fun seeing horses out our window every morning!

  • Barbara was a fabulous host and her place was perfect for my daughter's trip to Crater Lake - the cabin was lovely and full of 'homy' touches and the property was unique and a very relaxing setting for vacation.

    Julia Jasmine2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely quiet spot that is close to many outdoor adventures including hiking, waterfalls, snow shoeing and of course Crater Lake. The Bunkhouse is well set up and quite beautiful to come back after a long day of exploring. We would highly recommend it!

    judah2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara’s place is spotless. The bunkhouse is a large cabin with a nice bathroom and one big room (living room, kitchen, bedroom). You can often see deer strolling through early or late in the evening and they also have a couple of walking trails. We took advantage of the location to look at half a dozen falls nearby. Thank you!

  • Awesome and well equipped home short or long term stays

    Vincent2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • When we finally arrived at midnight, open the door in below zero degree wind, we finally understood why Jesse’s place is rated so high. It was sparking clean, with all the amenities you would need, even with four pairs of snow shoes which we used for hiking a bit around crater lake. There was also a bike (or two?) in the backyard shed. Very very thoughtful. Would definitely come again if I visit Crater Lake. Note: the other bedroom is on the attic. The bed is best for just one person, but the futon bed in the living room is also very comfortable. Plus the bed in master bedroom it’s definitely enough for 4. Only note that the room on the attic doesn’t have heat, but it’s also comfortable.

    Diane2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the red blanket cabin! It was very clean and so cute. The location was great for a base camp to snowshoe at Crater Lake and hike to the waterfalls around Prospect. Jesse thought of everything and even had snowshoes to borrow if needed. They also left a bottle of wine for us which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again!

    Therese2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • So glad we booked this cabin. It is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location to explore many state parks and crater lake national park. Everything was sparkling clean and Jesse responded very quickly to any questions I had. I highly recommend.

    Taylor2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Loved it! They had everything we needed and more. This is a great place for a relaxing cozy vacation spot or to use as home base to all kinds of outdoorsy adventures. Can’t wait to come back!

  • I had an incredible time at this cabin! Came here for spring break to check out the hot springs and amazing trails. The area was beautiful and the cabin is super close to what I wanted to see. Highly recommend staying here! I enjoyed it very much :)

  • Great getaway spot! Such a cozy cabin, spacious, close to the hot springs & many waterfalls! They provide you a lot of information on where to go & what to do which was extremely helpful. Waking up to the sound of the river with a warm cup of coffee on the porch was amazing, thank you Dustin!

  • Great, easy spot in a beautiful setting. We went in the off season so we largely had the whole grounds to ourselves. It's a simple set up but a great, more comfortable alternative to tent camping. Very close to Umpqua Hot Springs!

    Andrea2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay in this cozy little cabin. We had everything we needed and there are so many outdoor activities close by. Pro tip: prepare your meals in advance unless you are willing to drive quite a distance to get to any restaurants. Other than that, we had a blast!!

    Samantha2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great friendly spot, would recommend to anyone!

    Henry2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is the perfect cozy place to rest your head and relax if you're wanting to spend some time in the Umpqua Forest and are not looking to camp. The cabin and the bathrooms just across the way were all very clean and welcoming.

    Ariel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute and cozy space! It was so nice to watch DVDs again. The cabin may look tiny but it felt huge when we were inside. It was so warm too! Loved it!

  • A perfect cabin setting to enjoy the surroundings of the Umpqua River. Full of thoughtful touches and super friendly hosts! 5 stars.

  • Exceptionally aesthetic and fully functioning tiny home! Everything is up to date and the shower is incredible. After long day hiking in the cold, the hot shower (that’s so pleasantly decorated) was amazing to come back to. Clearly a great deal of thought has gone into the tiny touches throughout that really make it feel like home. Will be staying here again when we pass back through!

  • this tiny home is incredible. It is sparkling clean, modern, CUTE, and we learned from Dustin, hand-made by his brother!! All the cooking tools you need, coffee, popcorn, Netflix provided. Thanks for a wonderful night and for all your hospitality! This place is awesome, will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

  • Leave civilization behind and unwind at The Tiny House - though there are still modern things like tv and internet, you will find that the waterfalls, lakes, trails and the North Umpqua will draw you out and about. The Tiny House is a perfect landing spot - just make sure to pack a few items to eat, as there are no close restaurants that are open on a regular basis! The kitchen is equipped with full size fridge, microwave and stovetop - there’s also a bbq. This is a place to return to!

    Jeanie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this tiny house! 5 star amenities in a fantastic location for tons of winter outdoor adventure fun! Hot springs were fantastic! Waterfalls were wonderful!

    Erin2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend this adorable Tiny House !!! I booked it for the weekend with my parents to explore Crater Lake and we had such a wonderful time! The house is cozy and adorable with everything you need in the kitchen. We asked for a wine glass one evening and the next day we were delivered 4 new sparkling wine glasses! The hospitality was just one of the amazing touches of this experience. The location is near the river, so it's very peaceful. Easy to find and near lots of out door adventuring. We stayed in the winter but would love to return in the summer for more hiking and exploration. Definitely hope to return again! Thank you again for such a great weekend!!

The family created Grampie’s Cabin on 2 acres in Central Oregon, just a few miles from Crescent Lake and a short distance from Willamette Pass Ski Resort. My children and grandchildren use Grampie’s Cabin as their base for summer and winter fun. This is a rustic cabin, not a hotel in Manhattan.
3 Bedroom w/ two Queen beds / 2 twin beds and 1 bathroom Sleeps 6 Fully equipped Kitchen is included to make your family meals Satellite dish tv ( in master bedroom only ), games, Legos, Lincoln Logs, puzzles & playing cards are available No Wifi, but some reception may be available on your cellphone The open floor plan creates an environment where you can enjoy each other's company Activities by Season Spring to Fall - My SO and I fish nearly every morning on Odell Lake. We catch and release fish from the time the snow melts to when it starts falling again. Crater Lake National Park, at its depth of 1,943 feet (592 meters) makes it the deepest lake in the United States, and the ninth deepest in the world. The park is open year-round, 24 hours a day. But many of the park's roads, trails, and facilities are closed seasonally due to snow. The Pacific Crest Trail passes within 20 miles of the cabin and is easily accessed by National Forest Service roads. Summer - My daughter, granddaughter and friends ride horses and quads in the National Forest lands surrounding the cabin. They ride from the cabin to Crescent Lake (14 miles north) and to the town of Chemult (12 miles south). ATV trails are clearly marked. Though there are not specific horse riding trails, she has found respectful ATV riders in the rare times they cross paths. After a 20-minute car ride, a person can be sitting on the shore of Crescent Lake, either getting the fishing pole ready or jumping in for a swim. The grandkids love to take the dogs in the lake. Five miles up the road from Crescent Lake is Odell Lake that contains Mackinaw (lake trout), Kokanee (land locked salmon) and rainbow trout. Odell Lake holds the state record for the largest Mackinaw shattering the 40lb. threshold in 1984. Other fun activities in the area include hiking, biking, frisbee golf, boating, canoeing, jet skiing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Winter - My son and grandson snowboard in the winter at Willamette Pass Ski Resort (30-minute drive) and Bachelor Ski Resort (1-hour drive). Additionally, the same trails used for quads in the summer are available for winter snowmobiling, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. • We stayed in Grampie's Cabin for a weekend to attend an event in Fort Rock State Park. We loved the cabin so much, we wish we could have stayed longer! It's super clean with all the amenities you could need. The cabin itself is clearly a special place for Liz and her family, and the love and attention to detail within the house make it feel like a home. It's located in a beautiful area, peaceful and quiet surrounded by forest and numerous easily-accessible trails that we loved walking with our dogs in the mornings. The check-in and check-out were very easy, and Liz was quick and friendly with communication. Not only did she leave us some delicious blueberry muffins, Liz has put together a thorough guide to the home and things to do in the surrounding area. If you want to explore this area of Oregon, Grampie's Cabin is a great place to stay!

    Katie2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The quintessential cabin in the woods! My family enjoyed the ability to unplug, stretch out and relax at this cabin. Liz is an excellent host, who gives you a special treat and has great communication. There is no tv in the main living area, which I liked. Bing your own green propane can if you want to use the grill. We used this as base for day trips to Crater Lake National Park. All of our needs were met and we would return!

    Christie2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, Relaxing and an amazing location for fishers and OHV. Our family loves it there. Miller Lake and Crescent Lake we’re beautiful. We took a little hike around the house. Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Lots of family love there. We really enjoyed our time!!

  • Perfect getaway and glamping experience! Once we arrived we were greeted with such amazing hospitality and generosity. Our tent was very stylish and homey. Definitely enjoyed the heated bed most of all. This was the perfect place to stay at while exploring Umpqua National Forest.

  • We ended up staying here out of connivence for a styled shoot we were doing near the hot springs and as we were driving up from California it snowed only the day before! We were a bit worried about it being cold at night but we actually were so toasty with just the heated blanket! It was a very romantic and intimate stay. We had such a great tome and will definitely be back!

    Samantha2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts are very friendly and welcoming that it made me felt safe and comfortable when staying there. The location is great for someone looking for a camping vibe near a mountaintop. It’s so beautiful. Highly recommended if no internet is not going to be a big deal for you.

    Nazeem2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! You will not regret staying here. At first I was skeptical staying in a tent in the middle of February because of how cold the nights get, but we were very warm with the heated bed alone. This place is so peaceful and helped us recharge I suggest visiting the hot springs. Plus everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We will be coming back.

    Joanna2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lodging on the way to Crater Lake. The road was so long that I went through a cut of luxury glamping. Much better than expected. 1. I visited in winter, but there were two electric mats and two warmers, so I could sleep well. 2. You will never forget the stars and shooting stars that pour into the night sky. 3. The public restroom is about 30m away, but the shower is clean. 4. Pay $ 6 for a modal fire. 5. Crater Lake is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes north of the road. However, this place is a place you will not forget. 6. The staff are also very kind and pleasant. Koreans, please try by all means ^^

    Chanjong2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first glamping outing. But this place exceeded all expectations. Very neat and clean place and everyone we spoke to was helpful and friendly. Will definitely be telling friends about this place. Can't want to return.

    Tad2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The tent is beautifully equipped and super private and romantic. The space heaters worked really well and we were warm the entire time. The heated king size bed is a very nice touch an the mattress and linens were really comfortable. Bathroom is clean and has a space heAter too. The only thing to keep in mind is that despite the glamour it still is camping and you will have to rent the propane grill to cook, might wAnt to also bring a camp stove, cooler for food, dish washing stuff, and dinnerware/silverware (the ones we were provided were disposable). Lovely towels and basic toiletries were provided. All around a great experience, great location, and would highly recommend this place!

    Vilija2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • The only regret is booking this tent for only a night, but it was an amazing experience. Besides looking cozy and at a great location for near by hot springs and water falls, the glam tent is HEATED, even the bed has a heated blanket, so we did not get cold at all, and yes there was snow outside. The hosts were great and answered any questions we had. Definitely will be coming back. Recommend booking more than a night here.

Situated within 30 miles from beautiful Crater Lake National Park. Private space with gorgeous views of Agency Lake and the Crater Lake Caldera. Experience a touch of hobby ranching and maybe even get up early enough to help milk the family cow. (No milking available in the winter months)
Picturesque views, quiet surroundings, pond and picnic areas to enjoy.
One of the closest places to stay before Crater Lake National Park and Skylakes Wilderness areas.
  • The cabin was very cozy, warm, and comforting. A nice place to relax after a long day of exploring the surrounding countryside. Jonathan and his family have a lovely place and it was nice to enjoy a small taste of their little paradise. Gorgeous views from right out the front door and the sunset from the hot tub was beautiful. Will come again!

    Jacob2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is great!!! Very organized, clean and accommodating with several amenities; from a flat screen TV, DVDs, books, and plenty of information on the local area. It is clear that a lot of love and care has gone into the apartment, and you feel that when you stay there. Staying in the winter there is plenty of heat and hot water, which is great if you go out hiking around Wood River or Agency Lake. It really had everything my husband and I needed for a weekend get-away, and although we did not get a chance to use the grill, we look forward to a return stay in order to do so; perhaps this summer. Jonathan is a fantastic host. Anytime we needed to reach him, he was available immediately with a response or answer to our question. We highly recommend this property for those looking for a peaceful get-away in the area!

  • Great for a group of 4 and the closest you can be to Crater Lake without the coveted reservation at the park Lodge. One note would be to bring in food to cook in the evenings since the closest decent restaurant is 40 minutes away. We did get amazing sandwiches at the deli at the local grocery store (Family Food Center) to take with us to Crater Lake.

Country decor with elegance. Very clean and inviting. Quiet setting. Great for families or romance. Full kitchen and dining. Fantastic waterfalls, lake activities, skiing, hiking and biking scenery. Only 45 minutes to Crater Lake.
Awesome nearby attractions. Crater Lake, falls, hiking, boating, site seeing
Secluded, gated, the best icecream in the valley.
  • It is a very comfortable and cute cabin with a beautiful view. It was close to amazing snowmobiling trails, Diamond Lake and Crater Lake. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and super helpful. They had a kennel available for our dog which was an added bonus. The heated bed was great after a long day in the snow and cold. Our family will definitely be back.

  • No doubt, one of the best airbnb that i have stayed so far!! Place was excellent, with a great view to the lake. Uncle Bill and Aunty Nada were very lovely to us! We would love to stay at this wonderful place again!! You guys won’t regret to stay at this place!

  • Chris's place was fantastic. Very cozy, it turned out to be the perfect gateway. Right on the gorge, the river views are wonderful. Remote, it offered all the quietness that we could wish for. Lots of little touches inside and outside made the stay easy. Chris is a stellar host!

    Ronan2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • When it comes to how beautiful of a stay my husband and I had here, it’s really hard to find words to describe it. The view from the room was breathtaking, the land was stunning, and we felt like we were in a heavenly place that we never wanted to leave. We are so glad that we came and the pictures and description exceeded our expectations all the way! Also, cleanliness is huge for us when it comes to where we stay and this did not disappoint. Thank you again for your cozy cottage! We loved every second we spent there.

    Cassandra2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! It was so close to many wonderful attractions and also had a great trail right behind the property. It was very clean and very comfortable. It had all of the necessities- except a strainer in the kitchen. The internet worked the first night but no so much after that and there was no cell service but that just seemed to be true of the entire area- but that didn’t bother us to much. There was a VHS player but no movies- again, not a problem for us but good to know in case... you still have VHS tapes! :) The view from the porch was spectacular and there were multiple fire pits and grills and they supplied us with everything we needed! Chris was super nice and responded very quickly when we had questions. His parents live on the property and are very sweet. We feel very blessed to have spent time in such a wonderful spot! Definitely recommend this cute and cozy cabin!!

  • I'm a little biased since we got engaged while staying here, but this place is unbelievable! The porch looks out across the Rogue River Gorge and is completely stunning. Nada and Bill were super responsive and friendly. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

  • A little piece of heaven Bill and nada were so lovely The cabin is cozy and the bed is so comfy The cabin has everything you need The view is outstanding and crater lake was breathtaking We used the fire pit both nights and watching the sunset from the balcony was something we will always remember Would love to come back Thankyou for a lovely stay

We are located 30 min. from Klamath Falls and 30 min. from Crater Lake on the Williamson River. Guests can enjoy a fully stocked home with the river right in the back yard. The Williamson River is ranked top 10 for fly & Trophy fishing in the entire United States. Come stay to relax, fish or enjoy all what Oregon has to offer. This can be perfect for a family trip, guys get away or a girls trip too. Its located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Come and get away to our House on the River!
We have a full kitchen if you want to cook and a washer and dryer inside the cabin for your convenience.
Chiloquin is a small town with a few restaurants and grocery store. Any main shopping would suggest Dollar General in Chiloquin. This store has a little bit of everything you might need. Walmart is in Klamath Falls and they have even more.
  • This was a great space with a great view in a convenient location! Full stars.

    Devin2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • An absolutely perfect experience! Homey place with a warm atmosphere. Stay here if you have the chance.

    Landon2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place to stay if visiting createrlake only about 35 min drive to the rim. On a nice little river. Wood stove works great for heating in winter months.

    Kevin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great amenities right on the river. The wood stove is awesome and gets the house very warm. The kitchen is great and very well stocked! Ken & Angie were very responsive. Highly recommended!

    Mardi2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts are very responsive. Instructions were clear and the cabin super cozy. The fireplace is extremely efficient and warms the place right up. It was so fun to see the mergansers and geese on the river in the mornings.

    Lacey2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • 40-50 min drive ( during winter ) to beautiful crater lake, about 80 min drive to waterfalls and hikes. The house is welcoming and well equipped. Not much to do in the little town itself though (unless you check out the casino)

    Inna2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place is awesome. A very small town but everyone is super nice. They have a gentleman named Doug who shoveled the sidewalk after it snowed. He was such a nice guy. Loved the fire pit by the river. Couldn’t have asked more. Ken and Angie are on top of immunization and being clear on things. Loved the value for the place.

    Adrian2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • I was absolutely blown away when I saw the cabin for the first time. Incredibly cozy, clean, and decorative. The view of the river was outstanding. The beds and blankets provided were AMAZING, and the showers even had shampoo and conditioner when I forgot mine at home. A wonderful stay, I highly recommend their place!

Kimberly gives lots of great information and local tips. We'd love to come back in the summer when we can fully enjoy the outdoor area.

    Nikki2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a great place! We spent Thanksgiving in Kimberly’s cabin - it was absolutely lovely. The space was warm and inviting and the location very peaceful. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and plenty of space for our family of 6. We feel very grateful to have enjoyed this experience together.

  • Fantastic cabin with great location on the Rogue River. If you’re looking for privacy and seclusion this is the perfect place. You can walk to the river in a minute or so. If your into fishing this place can’t be beat. We went fishing and hiking in the surrounding forest. The interior of the cabin is well maintained and was sparkling clean. The beds and other furniture were all very comfortable. There is cable with a wide screen tv, and all channels available. The cabin also has excellent WiFi that is very fast with complete coverage of the area. This cabin was one of the best if not the best, of all the rentals we have used in our travels.

    David2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • The land was awesome. Easy to sit by the river and enjoy. Shower upstairs was stronger water pressure. Beds very comfortable with great linens. Any condiment you might want is provided. The kitchen has any pot you might need. There is a great gas grill on the deck. Lots of toys for kids.

  • Talk about a magical escape! What a perfect place to stay for a weekend away. We had a wonderful time exploring Crater Lake National Park and mostly just hanging at the cabin. With three kiddos under three it was vital to have a place where everyone could play and sleep well between our adventures. This place was the answer! We loved we very second and all said we’d come back in a heartbeat.

    Kali2019-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • My family had a great time during our stay. This is a handsome, very clean, and nicely appointed cabin adjacent to the Rogue River. We loved listening to the river at night, sitting on the porch, and hanging out with family in the comfortable living area. Great toys and entertainment for kids, including the zip line. The beds are extremely comfortable!

    Caroline2019-09-23T00:00:00Z

  • Thank thank you so much for a wonderful vacation with my family. Kenny was incredibly helpful, especially when there was a problem with the upstairs toilet and pellet stove, and then again when I got stuck in the snow on the driveway the day we left. Kenny came to the rescue both times fixing problems that previous tenants left. My sister and I also enjoyed a nice hike with the neighbor Jimmy and his friend, even though we weren't sure who they were at first. All in all it was an incredible place and we hope to return again in the summer and make use of the river and kayaking supplies.

    Tori2018-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cutest cabin!! The land is phenomenal. If you want some time away- go here. Responses were quick and helpful. The caretaker was such a help, as we arrive during the first snow and needed some guidance on what to do! The entertainment amenities are dated- so make sure to bring your own viewing items if you’re having a quiet night in! What’s also great about this place is you have access to the one way to crater lake that is open ALL year round. It’s private and gorgeous. Will definitely be coming here again.

    Mariam2018-12-02T00:00:00Z

Large private master bedroom with balcony, beautiful tile bathroom, brand new queen size bed, flat screen TV with Roku, and roomy walk in closet. The Shasta room is our largest room and is very spacious. We are very commited to delivering a top level experience to our guests!
We are fortunate to live in this beautiful location and have more house than we need. Our location makes our home one of very few places to stay this close to Crater Lake National Park. If our home doesn't fit your travel plans, we recommend the Historic Prospect Hotel.
Crater lake is the sole reason we are able to have a successful Airbnb. 99, if not 100% of our bookings are folks visiting Crater Lake, along with many other outdoor activities that go along with it.
  • We went up to stay at the Prospect Lodge for our anniversary. It was perfect. Family hospitality, very relaxing, peaceful, and hearth warm. Lisa and Mike sent us on a beautiful excursion along the Rogue River Gorge, lava tube chasms to waterfalls and bridges. We stayed in their Shasta room. The bed was extremely comfortable and you’ll sleep like a baby. I took a bath in the downstairs claw foot tub and it was divine...Lisa got the bathroom all ready, with candle light, lavender bath salts and a retro fireplace warming the room. It’s the authentic “lodge” your mind automatically paints a picture of; a warm lodge which is surrounded by open pastures on one side and trees on the other. It’s a modern log cabin with an old fashioned feel.

  • Wonderful comfortable log home, just beautiful!

    Elaine2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mike and Lisa’s place while visiting Crater Lake National Park. Their house is amazing! It was very well decorated, clean and had everything you could need. We stayed in the Shasta room which is very roomy with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and a balcony. Mike and Lisa were wonderful hosts and provided thoughtful touches including a bottle of wine and offered helpful tips about the area. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Crater Lake National Park.

    Nancy2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The picture of this lovely lodge is just the way it looks! It is gorgeous and rustic at the same time, just the perfect place for visiting Crater Lake. Do NOT just stay one night...it is worth the extra time as Lisa will show you all the hidden walks and hikes to go to around the lodge. She has tons of helpful information. Every room has its own charm. They will make it work for you...just communicate with them. When she offers tips or writes suggestions-read them-she is honest and helpful. You will love Prospect Lodge (and don’t miss the pie at Beckys).

Stay in the rustic old logging town of Butte Falls.
Old logging community. The neighborhood is old and some properties not well kept. My home is newer and well kept. Town folks have lived here for generations. They are like a big family looking out for others and willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
  • Nice clean place. Would recommend it.

  • Lea is an outstanding host. Even though we were mistaken by the travel dates she made everything possible & was super flexible. The check in was smooth and easy, the bed very cozy & everything was clean! Perfect to stay during a roadtrip! Thanks lea

    Bea2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lea's place is a comfortable and very complete B&B in a very quiet neighbourhood. Everything was very clean. We were very glad that we could use her washer&dryer! A nice host with a wonderfull B&B!

  • Lea is very hospitable and keeps a clean and beautiful home. although she says she only provides the necessities we found that what she provided was above and beyond necessities. i will certainly visit again when i go to crater lake next. thank you Lea, it was a pleasure indeed!

  • Incredible home in the town of Butte Falls!

    Anish2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lea made us feel very much at home, her house is well furnished with a large bedroom and bathroom and open access to the rest of the house. The house was immaculate and a great place to stay.

    Walter2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Loved your sparkling clean home and friendly, welcoming interactions. We’ve traveled quite a lot and your AirBnB is the most impressively clean and inviting we’ve seen. The town water is excellent, so much so that it’s bottled and sold! We love good drinking water and that at your faucet in Butte Falls is a pleasant surprise while traveling. The appointments in the room and bath are luxurious, very nice and numerous touches. Excellent WiFi and cell, too! Our travel precluded use of the available and pleasant kitchen but the refrigerator sure came in handy! Butte Falls is a quiet, pleasant step back in time, a nice library, charming schools, a park and museums, similar to our little town in the Oregon Coast Range. Thank you so very much, we’d love to stay again if life takes us this way once more!

    Ron2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had! You can tell Lea really cares about the comfort of her guests. The house was very clean, well decorated, and had thoughtful touches for her guests. It’s a great deal!! I would definitely stay with her again.

  • Perfect and safe location with affordable lodging and great amenities if you plan on visiting Umpqua Hot Springs and/or Crater Lake. I saved a vast amount of time traveling to and from the surrounding locations which are all worth the visit. Will be renting again soon!

  • This is my first time to live in a trailer. It’s amazing. I would highly recommend this place! The location is perfect for the people who is going to travel Umpqua and Crater Lake. There is a store next to camping ground carrying hot beverage and food. It’s open Tuesday to Sunday, 8-6. The trailer has a private bathroom. Staffs are shockingly friendly and helpful. They are best staffs ever. They responds quickly and communicates easily. There are different choices like cabins, tents, or trailers in the camping ground. The public bathroom is clean. I would love to try other rooms next time. Suggestions: There are two rooms in this trailer. During the winter, if you feel cold at night, you can get more blankets from another room. If you are sensitive person and very picky about the noises during the sleep. Trailer is probably not your best choice. The camping ground is very quite and safe though. You still can check cabins or tents. I love Umpqua so much. It’s actually my favorite place in Oregon so far. This place is also the best place. Would definitely love to come back again to stay a few nights next time. Thanks for hosting us. Wish to see you next time.

  • good place to stay. the room is much better than I expected

    Lingquan2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed for four nights. The RV has everything you need and more to make your stay comfortable. Local store next door is very nice with pretty much everything you need. The staff was amazing and very friendly. We loved every minute of our trip! Hiking is very accessible and there are tons of trails to choose from. One of our favorites was Lemolo Falls and the hot springs for sure! We liked it so much we went back twice!

    Isabel2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in Umpqua. The RV is great and very cozy, plenty of space for a family of four (Although we were only 3) About 45 minute drive to Crater Lake and very close to some beautiful waterfalls and hot springs. Dustin and Toby were very helpful!

    Will2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first RV Airbnb that we had ever stayed in (and we have stayed in many Airbnbs over the years) and we would definitely be back. Dustin's rental was perfect for our needs. I was worried about the space feeling too small and it not being warm enough for us but the space felt much bigger than I expected and the heaters worked well so we were comfortable the entire time. The campground is a great area to stay to be near tons of hiking trails in the National Forest as well as a short drive away from Crater Lake. 10/10 would highly recommend this rental

  • Perhaps one of my family's favorite AirBnB stays to date! We showed up early - having gotten our reservation dates incorrect. Lucky for us, the home was open and Laurie was so very kind and accommodating. With very little notice, there still were welcoming touches and a warm fire greeting us when we arrived mid-evening. Plenty of room for family to enjoy their own space, and even a crafts desk where children can color or do activities. Plenty of room in a great kitchen to fix meals, a separate living room to relax or read with TV and family room for those who want other entertainment. Can't say enough about Laurie or this home. We hope to return!

  • Love staying at Quail run – the place was beautiful, really cute. Laurie was a great host, so easy to communicate with and helpful with directions.

    Julia2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Quail Run is one of my favorite Airbnb’s ever (and I’ve stayed in quite a few)! The house is beautiful, and Laurie fills it with thoughtful touches that make you feel cozy and at home right away. We were also really happy about how easy it was to visit Crater Lake from here. And visiting in the winter was especially magical; beautiful views from the windows and a warm space to curl up in front of the fire. I hope we can visit again!

    Patricia2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie house has been one of the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. So cozy , clean and thoughtful. She left cookies for our arrival and gifted us a coloring book made by her artist father . Which was sooo sweet of her- thank you Laurie! The house is gorgeous! Communication was excellent and she gave us some local tips also. Highly recommend!

    Daria2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing, and the hospitality was unmatched. Laurie even had fresh-baked cookies waiting for us.

    J2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! What a wonderful relaxing weekend. We woke up to a lot of snow, built a fire in the wood stove and enjoyed the view with a great cup of coffee. The cookies and lit candle when we arrived was a great touch. The house was much better than the pictures reflect! Will return next time we are in town!

    Cari2019-12-01T00:00:00Z

Creekside Retreat is a wonderful private getaway perfect for singles or couples. Close to Crater Lake National Park and located on the banks of Big Butte Creek.
Guests will enjoy their private suite with views of Big Butte Creek. It is located in a park like setting complete with an outdoor fireplace and dining areas. Sit and relax in peace and quiet on the banks of the creek. It is truly a picturesque setting. Beginning in September, Big Butte Creek becomes a salmon spawning habitat. This is truly a unique sight to behold!
  • I had a great stay here. The private suite was nice to have my own space and then Barb and Bill cooked a delicious breakfast! They have a beautiful creek view in the backyard.

    Deanna2019-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of the best places we have ever stayed and we have been all over the world. Barb and Bill are so nice and helpful, their house and property are beautiful and so well maintained. Stay here if you are visiting Crater Lake or just enjoying the many other sites in the area including the beautiful upper Rouge River. Thanks Barb and Bill!

Barb and Bill are wonderful hosts; the property sits beside a pretty creek and is surrounded with lovely autumn colours; an hour’s drive to magnificent Crater Lake; comfort and cleanliness..... all topped off with a yummy home-cooked breakfast each morning.

  • Gorgeous secluded location, with very kind and friendly hosts. Definitely recommended

    Jeremy2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • If we could give six stars to Barb and Bill’s place, we most certainly would. It felt like staying with family, and was an awesome stop on our way through the area. The room is quiet and comfy, breakfast was great, and Barb and Bill are simply awesome hosts! Barb gave us some great recommendations for places to eat, and some local tips on places to stop that we’re beautiful and which we would have otherwise missed. Just book the room, you won’t regret it! Thanks Barb and Bill, we’ll most certainly be back if we are ever back in Oregon!

    Jonathan2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend staying with Barbara. Her communication was very prompt, and she met us for the check in and showed us our room. The room was quite comfortable and very clean. Breakfast both mornings was delicious, and the conversation with Barb and Bill in the mornings really helped us to get to know them and feel welcome, something you rarely find at an Airbnb. This will be where we stay if we are back at Crater Lake.

    Nicholas2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Warm welcome. Nice place to be with lots of freedom and cozy to have breakfast with the hostess and lord. Many tips about the area.

The bus use to be our home. It has a generator that can be used and will come full when you arrive, it runs for about 8 hours so be sparing with it. Most people use it at night only to charge phones and keep lights on. There is a comfy bed in the back and a woodstove if it is cold, wood is provided. No tv or radio but a great sitting area out front. We like to enjoy nature and have lots of recommendations for hikes and adventures in the area.
We have a shared out door kitchen, and outdoor composting toilet. The kitchen is near the bus which is also an airbnb rental and may be occupied but the kitchen is shared by everyone. It is out in the elements, but has a wash station, dishes, fridge and 2 burner stove. Please only drink water from the 5 gallon water dispenser, not the sink or hoses. The outdoor composting toilet is down a trail near the bus that is not handicap accessible; must be sure footed to get there. We live out here in the wilderness with all its glory. We have some open ground spaces for tents and a few prime spots for hanging a hammock. Bring a tent and some sleeping pads (for extra comfort, the ground can be hard on some backs) for you and your group. We do not have shower facilities at this time, but a camp ground 2 miles away has showers for just $2.00 We have wildlife, so make sure you keep your food in your car or in an airtight container. We will provide buckets with lids for any trash you may have, make sure to put lids on tightly so we don't attract animals.
Shady cove (11 miles south) has a grocery store, gas stations and a few restaurants. There is a boat dock at the marina 1 mile north and a shower house 2 miles north that costs only $2. Shady cove also has rentals to raft the river in summer and lots of guided or fishing opportunities

  • This cottage is amazing. Everything spotless and comfortable beds and sofas and chairs, very roomy living space, massive dining table, good wifi we used and tv we didn't, well stocked kitchen and the bonus of lots of games. Woodsy decor is tasteful and creative. Great proximity to Crater Lake -- just 40+ minutes to the park entrance, closer than anything else we could find and good value to boot. The wee town is wee, but the cafe has good food and friendly staff. Cassy responds quickly to questions and requests, and gave us a bit of history as well. Highly recommended!

  • Great stay. We had booked the trailer but due to it being really cold outside, the water had frozen so the taps were dry. The host was kind enough to move us into a small house - which was really nice and comfortable!

  • Super friendly. Very clean. Free coffee! A very comfortable space. Fun to stay in a trailer! Little store on site for quick food and drink.

  • Traveling for the first time to Oregon. There were a lot of unknowns: best road to take, what roads are open this time if the year, what do we do for food. All of these questions were promptly answer by Dustin. He gave us all the information we needed to get there, helped up check in, gave us the tour of the Camper (which in itself was a delight) and was a good host. Would highly recommend this place for those who like a bit of adventure. You have to go in with an open mind. It is quite remote, but the campsite itself is wonderful and has many great hiking trails around.

  • They really undersell this trailer! The internet is actually very decent. The bed and bedroom are so comfy. The space overall is clean and clever. And of course, it’s in such a great location:)

    Sarah2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The RV is amazing! It has a fully equiped kitchen, ensuite bathroom, and a comfy bed. It was quite cold when we went but the staff installed a heater, which was great. There's always someone available to help with any questions, and to offer recommendations on where to visit around the area. The area is beautiful, tons of waterfalls and trails near the camping grounds. Would definitely stay there again!

  • We found this cabin on a road trip up from California, and it was a perfect spot to rest for the night—comfortable and everything we needed (no wifi was kind of nice). We made some food, watched a movie, and crashed on the nice queen bed upstairs. The outside area was super buggy—once night came, all the windows near lamps were almost totally covered with bugs (thankfully, none getting inside)—so that put a little damper on any idea of relaxing outside or taking an evening stroll to the water. Also, we did hear some critter activity in the above-the-ceiling area, which in hindsight we think was bats. No issues with them other than the noise at night.

  • This house is absolutely charming! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with all amenities and needs to ensure your stay is stress-free! All you need is your food! We highly recommend a stay in this home if you are visiting the area. We visited Lava Beds National Monument and Crater Lake National Park.

  • This is a stylish place next to a lake, in a small, forest like neighborhood close to Crater Lake. We had a great time, just sitting in front of the beautiful chalet reading or taking a walk to a close tiny beach. I highly recommend the place.

Located on 280 private acres just a few minutes from the entrance to Crater Lake & about 35 minutes from the rim, this well-appointed 5000 sq. ft. bunkhouse has everything you need to host your next retreat, workshop, or large family reunion. Annie Creek, a substantial natural waterway that runs through the property year round, offers ample wildlife viewing opportunities & trout fishing. There's open cattle grazing on site, making close encounters with roaming livestock a distinct possibility!
6 semi-private rooms of various bed configurations and 1 private room with 4 beds accommodate a total of 20 people with access to 4 shared bathrooms (two full, two half). The kitchen is well stocked and ready to feed large groups with ease. The spacious layout, restored 1940s range, and custom built BBQ make cooking for a crowd a breeze. The large, open floor plan allows for lots of room to meet, plan, create, and gather in large and small group configurations.
Medford is 75 miles away and the closest town is the small town of Fort Klamath, with limited services available. Be sure to stock up on groceries ahead of time and plan fuel stops on your way in accordingly. The peace and quiet of this remote sanctuary are relaxing as long as you are prepared! There is no internet or cable TV at this location and cellular service is spotty at best. If you’re looking for a reason to be unplugged and just enjoy being together, Sun Mountain Ranch Bunkhouse is a perfect choice! Note: Firewood is provided for all guests, year around. This is the only source of heat.
  • Great place

  • Amazing place to stay at. We had 13 guys and all had separate beds to sleep in. Great to have a big yard, fireplace, and grill to hangout outside. Overall awesome experience staying here!

  • If you're looking for peace, quiet and a laid-back place that encourages family time and relaxation, this AirBnB is for you. The house itself was lovely - a beautiful rustic-style building with high ceilings and a huge community area. Tons of space to cook, eat and play games/socialize. The surrounding meadow/pasture was perfect for star gazing and we loved being able to roast marshmallows outdoors while streaming the ball game (apparently ATT doesn't have a very good signal in this area but our friends carrier was fairly good near the fire pit). Our children loved being able to see the cows graze nearby! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want - and I love to cook so I was thrilled. There isn't cable, but there was a TV with a video player so the kids were able to watch VCR tapes provided. Morning coffee on the porch was delightful and I was kept company by a couple very curious squirrels who kept running back and forth by me, causing great entertainment. We only stayed for two days here and I honestly wished I had one more night. It was a very clean, welcoming home with close proximity to Crater Lake. Daniel was a wonderful host, providing detailed instructions and tips well in advance of our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

    Gwendolyn2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as described and terrifically comfortable for our family gathering. Excellent close proximity to south entrance Crater Lake.

    Charli2019-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • My family had a wonderful time at the Sun Mountain Ranch Bunkhouse! It was very spacious and cozy. We loved the fire pit out front for late night s’mores around the fire with the family. It was definitely a time we will always cherish. The house is conveniently located about 10-15 minutes from the south entrance of Crater Lake national park. The kitchen had everything stocked so I could cook some great meals for the family. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will book here again in the future!

    Lorraine2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • It's nice and comfortable place to stay with bigger groups.

    Lily2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I spent an amazing long weekend at this cabin. We had fourteen adults and the cabin accommodated us very nicely. The kitchen was large and well stocked. There are three large dining tables as well. It's important to be prepared with what the cabin does not have, which the host mentions very clearly in the description. There is no internet or cable tv so bring other activities. The fireplace was effective in warming the entire cabin. There's so much firewood provided readily chopped that you can keep the fire burning the entire day. The cabin is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from Crater Lake so you can go early in the morning and beat the rush. I highly recommend this cabin and would come back again!

One of closest to Crater Lake (28.9 miles), the Rogue River, Lost Creek Lake, 3 waterfalls, + 100 ranch acres of woodland trails...Upscale creature comforts; 2-story, 2500 sq. ft., fully-renovated historic ranch home: hardwood floors, fireplace, large kitchen, 2 bedrooms w/2 private baths + an extra small sleeping room, views of mountains & meadows are spectacular. Enjoy the ranch & wildlife relaxing on wrap-around deck. Perfect for couples, small getaways & sm families (kids over 12) No pets
Located in the majestic Cascade mountains on the beautiful side of Crater Lake National Park, (1 mile to the Rogue River, 28.9 miles to Crater Lake south entrance), this 2-story up-dated house is nestled between old timber forest woodlands and meadow on the historic 100-acre Katydid Ranch.A Protected Wildlife Habitat Area, the ranch also includes two large ponds, hiking/walking trails, a horse barn and bunkhouse, as well as the horses and owner's residence. Available during all seasons, the Meadow House is as spectacular in the snow covered winter as it is in the warm weather of summer. Enjoy the upstairs spacious semi-loft master (king sized bed) w/ full en suite bath, or the downstairs bedroom (queen sized bed) next to a full bath. Additionally, there is a third sleeping room located off the upstairs enclosed balcony which we dub the "eagle's nest". It's a small loft room (overlooks living rm.) space with a double/full bed and works for a single person or two teenagers that share a bed. The Eagle's nest is small and probably not comfortable for an adult couple. Easy driveway access even in winter (even if it snows), campfire pit on property, trails, ponds, nearby sledding, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. The house features a large custom kitchen perfect for prepping and cooking family meals, dining area with views, TV/Cable area, living room with fireplace...all up-dated custom home.
The neighborhood consists mostly of the protected wildlife habitat (deer, elk, fox, raccoons, wild turkeys, birds, owls, and up at the ponds: ducks, geese, sandhill cranes and a resident blue heron). Also, the ranch horses, and the property owners live in a house nearby. The "Crater Lake BunkHouse" also listed on Air BnB, is located near the barn, can be rented along with the Meadow House if you have additional guests and need a space for 2 or 3 more. The BunkHouse works well for couples and/or three. The Meadow House itself is well-situated for privacy, a nice large deck for viewing wildlife, and relaxing tranquility.
  • The meadow home is even more than expected. We happened to be there during clear nights and the abundance of stars is just spectacular. We had easy access to Mt Mazama for snowshoeing and discovered many additional trails and mountain peaks to explore. The home itself is very comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The horses are charming; kitchen, fireplace, linens are all generously appointed and the beds are comfy too :). We have already told friends and family about the Meadow House.

    Madeline2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the meadow house. It is an easy drive to Crater Lake and an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The hosts had thought of all the little things that make a stay more comfortable from a stocked kitchen to blankets on each couch to laundry soap in case you needed it. What we loved most about our stay was the peacefulness of the location. Overlooking the meadow with the horses grazing it had a gorgeous view and was very quiet and relaxing.

    Michelle2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is magical. I don't even know where to start. My friends and I had an amazing little vacation here. During the day, we visited several hiking and sight seeing locations. In the evening, we came back to the cabin and cooked dinner. Enjoyed each other's company and a nice warm fire. Then we took a short walk to the star gazing area just outside the cabin and looked at the milky way. On check out day, it snowed. And we sat eating breakfast and watched through the big window by the kitchen. What a wonderful experience. Thank you to the hosts. Lifelong memories.

  • Lovely, clean and very up to date house in a relaxing setting. Super quiet and peaceful.

  • This is a wonderful house for a family or group of friends. Our family of 4 adults had plenty of room with 2 large bedrooms and 2 baths. There was another smaller bedroom that we didn't use. The kitchen was the one I'd love to have in my own home! Wonderful appliances, all sorts of useful utensils, and lots of space! The fireplace in the living room was wonderful on a chilly night, and the stars were spectacular. Barbara was a very gracious host, very helpful when we had car trouble and were delayed by a day. She even offered us an extra night to make up for the one we had missed! The trails through the property were lovely for morning/evening walks.

    Anne2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Meadow House was an absolute gem. The hosts were beyond gracious and accommodating. They thought of every detail. The grounds are beautiful. We had s very relaxing vacation!

    Lisa2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara is a thoughtful host and the property is really lovely. There are trails to explore the lovely site and plenty of wildlife to find an interest in. The home is comfortable and well equipped, with lovely views of the surrounding area. It's close enough to Crater Lake to make an easy day trip and well situated for a getaway to the countryside.

    Julie2019-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • If you stay at Mountain House you can expect a roomy, sparkling home; many thoughtful amenities, an extraordinarily well-equipped kitchen, opportunities for wildlife sightings (e.g., deer, wild turkeys, pileated woodpeckers, a great horned owl), a friendly and responsive super host.
