  • Me and my family had such a lovely time at Anna's cozy apartment! Everything we needed was provided (including some of the most delicious bread I've ever eaten!). The garden was perfect for our little one to run around and play in. The apartment honestly felt like a home away from home. Anna was the perfect host as well, always available to contact and ever so friendly and welcoming. Our favourite AirB&B experience so far!

  • Very nice place to stay. All accomodations you would need for breakfast and home cooked mail and advice on place nearby to eat/drink. Clear instructions and parking space in front. Thanks for freshly made bread and eggs. Enjoyed the chats!

  • Anna was a lovely host, we had fresh home made bread on arrival and eggs from her chickens, really accommodating with our bikes. Property is perfect for 2 people, well decorated and in a great location. Definitely recommend.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Coach house. Anna was lovely and helpful and met us there in person and she took the time to explain everything through to us. She baked us some bread which was delicious with the jam she left and then with the fresh eggs in the morning. It had everything you need there and is in a good lo location to go and visit the little villages. It was clean and she provided all the basics needed for a great time! We would definitely recommend it to anyone for a nice quiet and peaceful time away :)

  • Lovely place, cosy and stylish - in an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. Anna was very accommodating, communicated well - and has an eye for detail. Little extra thoughts like the beautiful fresh bread made all the difference. Would definitely stay again :)

  • This place is an absolute dream. It is exactly as the photos, and Anna exceeded expectations with some thoughtful extra touches. It is a beautiful country escape, well located, walking distance to the picturesque town of Burford with lovely walks to do around the area. I would highly recommend. And we hope to make it back again soon!

  • A great place to stay for a short break. Really clean and very well equipped. Located in a quiet and small village, that is very accessible from the A40 and about a 10 minute drive to Burford (where there is free parking!). Would highly recommend the ‘Inn for All Seasons’ which has an especially great fish menu. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay there again.

Planters Studio is a delightful countryside retreat, its 1st floor galleried bedroom & bathroom has an exceptionally comfortable cast iron 4-poster double bed within an oak framed roof - certainly romantic, light and airy. Downstairs is a modern fully equipped kitchen, eating and sitting area including a sofa bed. A Welcome Pack is provided. The Studio has its own front door, patio garden & BBQ, with off road parking. A cot is available on request. Dogs/pets are welcome - charge £5/night/pet.
Guests regularly comment in our guest book that the Studio is comfortable, very well furnished and equipped. The Studio is private and, only if needed, we are near bye to help in any way. The Studio is in a 'Golden Triangle' of rolling Cotswold, largely organic, farmland & countryside. Footpaths, from the Studio, flow directly cross-country into gorgeous villages of Cotswold stone and narrow country lanes or minor roads lead further afield for trips by car to pretty country towns and villages.
This part of the Cotswolds we love particularly because it remains very largely working organic farmland rather than a recognised Cotswold destination - like Burford. The near bye villages without exception are all very attractive, most have a pub that serves food from good to restaurant standard. There is a network of footpaths linking the villages. We are happy to recommend our current favourite restaurants and other places or activities of interest.
  • Highly recommend this diamond of a place to stay . It is a true hidden gem, which is highly recommended. All the touches of home and great style !!

  • Dougy's and Jackie's studio (much bigger than you would think) was perfect for a relaxed base in the Cotswolds. From the birds feeding just outside the door to the well equipped kitchen, meaning you could easily eat in and out. My travelling partner said the four poster bed was one of the best nights sleeps she has had. All in all, a little piece of paradise just 90 mins from London!

    Paul James2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing studio, cosy and quiet! We had such a relaxing couple of days - it just wasn't long enough!

  • Beautiful place, great quiet location and the dogs had an amazing time too!

    Emma2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Dougie & Jackie’s studio apartment. It had everything we wanted and more. Great location, just a short drive away from lots of local villages! We enjoyed all of the suggestions that we’re given to us- they did not disappoint! A great little get away!

    Melanie2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The location is perfect for long walks and visits to the surrounding towns and villages. The studio itself has everything you need and more. Whilst we only stayed for 2 nights, we had a fabulous time in the Cotswolds. Dougy and Jackie are very kind and good hosts. Everything you need is included - basics in the fridge for a nice breakfast the following morning, books and guides to help guide you around and a lovely presented studio, with a great close view of the bird table outside your window - oh and a very comfy bed! Thanks Dougy and Jackie and hope to see you both and chutney in the future again.

    Kyriacos2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Dougy, Jackie and Chutneys place is absolutely fantastic to have a peaceful get-away. It had great facilities to make our own food. The breakfast selection was a lovely touch and they were full of suggestions on where to go and eat. It was clean and tidy. And the location was great for the surrounding villages. Can't recommend enough.

Church Cottage is a beautifully preserved Cotswold home, with original features that seamlessly blend with contemporary comforts. The cottage sleeps 6 guests across 3 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, and a downstairs WC. In the heart of beautiful Burford, Church Cottage has layers of history, curiosities and unique craftsmanship, including a wood-burning stove. The cottage has a large, secluded garden and a sunny Rose Terrace, plus off-road parking for 1 car, with additional street parking nearby.
Full Description Ground Floor Entrance Hall and downstairs WC Step through the red front door into the entrance hall, a compact space, but with plenty of room for coats, umbrellas, boots and shoes. Above is a Victorian clothes-drying rack, operated on a pulley system, with the rope wound around the hook on the wall - providing an efficient and environmentally friendly way to dry clothes. Open the door to your left and you will find the downstairs WC and washbasin, situated in the old ‘privy’. Take one step up through to the: Kitchen The well-equipped kitchen is a light and airy space filled with beautiful original features, such as the tiled flooring and half-size Belfast sink. The super-efficient ‘Everhot’ range cooker will be warm and ready to use and is fantastic for baking and drying alike! The row of cream cupboards opposite the cooker cleverly hides a separate fridge and freezer, individual bins, washing machine and dishwasher. The tall cupboard next to the door to the sitting room contains the microwave, and a full range of plates, glasses and cooking equipment. Before moving on into the sitting room, take a moment to study Clare’s collection of vintage tins in the glass fronted cabinet. With some tins dating from the early 1900s, this unique collection is the culmination of a lifelong hobby for Clare. Which one is your favourite? Through to the: Sitting Room A wonderfully cosy living space, this room is the heart of the cottage, with original painted wooden floorboards and beams, cheerful floral curtains, warm bright furniture including two armchairs a three-seater sofa. An inviting wood-burning stove sits proudly in the original brick fireplace, framed by oak bookcases handmade in Witney containing a selection of novels, reference and guide books. The perfect place to curl up next to the fire with a book in hand or snuggle down to watch the new ‘Smart’ television, located in the antique pine corner cupboard, along with a DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and a selection of games and puzzles. The room is very well lit, with subtle spotlights adding a touch of modernity while ensuring that the cottage never feels dark. (TV and DVD player instructions are in the ‘Owners’ Notes’.) French windows in the Sitting Room lead to the garden. Head through to the Dining Room via the cottage’s original front door: Dining Room The first thing that may strike you about this room is its spaciousness; for a compact cottage, this generously sized dining area provides plenty of space for entertaining. This is the newer part of the house, added in 2002, though it blends in seamlessly with the original style of the cottage. A fresh, light room with shelves displaying more gorgeous ceramics and original paintings, and of course, the centre piece of the room, a large dining table with ample room and seating for six. In the far-left corner you will notice a piece of furniture from a bygone era, a lovely antique headteacher’s desk. If you fancy some al fresco dining, the French windows take you directly out onto the sheltered Rose Terrace, with its truly stunning view of the magnificent west end of Burford Church. Head back into the Sitting Room to the left-hand corner where a door opens to traditional cottage stairs leading up to the bedrooms and bathrooms: Upstairs Upstairs Landing Once you are at the top of the stairs - take care as they are quite steep - you will reach the landing where you will find a wide wooden worktop that stretches the length of the landing. On top of the worktop there is a travel cot, baby changing mat and a little step that may be useful for teeth-brushing! Through the door on the right at the top of the stairs to the: Bathroom A bright and compact bathroom, with a gorgeous, original 1930’s bathtub with attached shower hose, W.C. and wash basin. Please note: the shower fitting is not suitable for use as a stand-up shower but is fine for sitting/in-bath use and hair washing. Enter the next door opposite the stairs into the: Double Bedroom With its soft, pastel-coloured walls and furnishings and comfortable ‘Queen-size’ double bed, it’s hard not to feel cosy in this charming bedroom with its sloping ceiling. There’s also plenty of space and storage, with two bedside tables with drawers, a chair, a lovely vintage pine chest of drawers, and a small hanging cupboard inside the door on the left-hand side next to the bed. This bedroom has a lovely view over the gardens and rooftops of old Burford. Further along the landing on the right and into the: Twin Bedroom Set up as a children’s bedroom, this charming room is sure to enchant all ages. Two comfortable single beds line either side of the room, with a large vintage pine chest of drawers between the beds. Above the chest of drawers hangs a captivating illustration of a rabbit family guaranteed to delight young guests, while the quaint little fireplace (not working) and patchwork curtains all add to the appeal of this cheerful twin room. On to the end of the passage and into the: Master Bedroom with En Suite Complete with two 1940’s chests of drawers, bedside tables and modern radio – the master bedroom is full of thoughtful touches. Lie back on the king-size bed and look to the ceiling: you’ll notice the lucky horseshoe fixed up above you, this came from the original front door of the cottage! The ensuite shower room has a walk-in shower, WC, wash basin and adorable little cubby holes for storage. This room has a fabulous view of the church and the cottage’s Rose Terrace below. The elegant converted gas streetlamp just outside the entrance to the churchyard adds a romantic glow to the Rose Terrace at night, and if you leave your windows open on a summer evening you will enjoy the scent of the roses in the bedroom! Outside Garden The garden of Church Cottage will take you completely by surprise. You will notice hints of what’s to come through the garden gate in the pretty raised border in the parking area. As well as providing complete privacy from Lawrence Lane and public view it is also totally secure garden, making it a wonderful place for children to play. As the cottage is south facing, the garden really benefits from the summer sun. It has fantastic views of the Church, and the most beautiful blooms of flowers along the long high stone wall during the spring and summer months. Plenty of outdoor seating is provided, including two benches, two chairs and a table, and a further bench tucked under an arch covered with clematis and roses. Please note: The ‘garden house’ at the near end of the garden is locked and not for guests’ use. However, guests are welcome to use the veranda and the chairs. If you smoke, then this is a good covered smoking area – with a perfect view of the Church. Rose Terrace At the end of the house closest to the Church, you will find the walled, sheltered and sunny Rose Terrace, accessed from the dining room or the side gate in the garden. This beautiful paved space is a real sun trap, and wonderful for al fresco dining, with an outdoor dining table that seats six, as well as a bench. Relax in this private paradise as you sit amongst the flourishing roses, ancient holly tree, and an apple tree that is probably older than the cottage itself! (Make the most of the sun in this area by using the retractable washing line fixed next to the door from the garden to dry your laundry!) Shed in parking area Opposite the red front door, you will see a small lockable shed. This is where the outdoor bins are kept. It also has some hooks - great for suitcase storage - and it is a good place for deliveries to be left. The key to the shed hangs on the overhead hooks in the kitchen entrance.
Although tucked away down a peaceful lane, Church Cottage is the perfect location for exploring Burford and the wider Cotswolds. In just a few paces you will find yourself at the bottom of the famous High Street of Burford, perfect for exploring everything that this stunning medieval market town has to offer. The excellent Co-Operative supermarket is a three-minute walk from the cottage and stocks all immediate shopping requirements, with a great wine selection. It’s open 7am – 10pm every day of the week. There are some great cafés in Burford, if you turn left out of Church Cottage and head towards the Church, you will discover the newly built Warwick Hall and café, ideal for a morning coffee and snacks. Another good spot for a reviving cup of coffee or tea is Linwoods on the High Street, where you can also buy delicious local artisan-made Sourdough bread. If you walk towards the main car park from Church Cottage you will cross the mill-race connecting to the charming River Windrush that meanders through the Cotswolds, a lovely spot to feed the ducks and swans! Burford used to be a major coaching town between London and the West Country and was home to 35 coaching inns! The town still retains 13 pubs, all within walking distance of the cottage, of which our favourites are ‘The Angel’, a very good gastropub, and ‘The Highway’. There’s also a great variety of specialist shops to explore and a visit to the fascinating Tolsey Museum. If you fancy exploring a bit further afield, Witney is an easy 10-mile drive east towards Oxford, and has a great array of high street shops, larger supermarkets such as M&S, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s, eateries and a modern cinema complex. Also, around 10 miles away is the renowned Daylesford Organic Farm in Kingham, a farm complex that offers a farm shop, restaurant, spa as well as other activities such as farm tours and cooking courses. See the Burford Guidebook for further information.
  • Stunning home. Great charm. Brilliant location. Loved the sounds of the church bells. The coffee and biscuits on arrival. Spotless. Wonderful outdoor space - all enclosed - so very safe for our toddler to run around. Charming hidden parts of the garden too. Only negative comment would be the sofas. Not comfy at all. Can feel the wood through the cushions. But a really lovely stay and would definitely come back!

  • An immaculate place to stay, warm and cosy, great location with lots of space. Perfect for the family.

    Adeel2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • The Church Cottage was perfect! We spent the first part of our trip in England exploring the Cotswolds, and staying in Burford was a great decision. It was central to everything and the town itself was great to explore. The cottage is located right off of the main street through town and incredibly close to restaurants, pubs and shops. The Church Cottage itself fit our family of five well (two parents, 1 adult child, 1 teenager, 1 child). We didn't spend a lot of down time at the house as we were out most of every day, but the house was comfortable and charming, and had all the amenities of home. It was a great space to explore and we loved the proximity to everything!

Ideal for isolation! A spacious one bedroom annexe with its own kitchen and shower room. Accessed via its own door (mind your head!) a small entrance hall leads into a kitchen area, a shower room and on into a large south facing bedroom with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the front lawn of the main house. Relax on the comfy sofa or enjoy your meals at the dining table. Fully equipped for short or longer stays.
The former Apple store has been newly updated to provide a wonderful space with a kitchenette, shower room and large, comfortable bedroom area overlooking the front lawn of the property. Situated in a rural location, yet close to local amenities, the site offers great privacy.
  • A comfortable, immaculate annex in a beautiful, peaceful location in the Oxfordshire countryside. Stayed here while attending a wedding at nearby Caswell House. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Gus was so helpful and was excellent at replying promptly to messages . The Apple Store was ideally situated for us whilst visiting family and is in a lovely , quiet location attached to Gus’s farmhouse. It is warm, comfortable and an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds and nearby towns.

  • Very nice place with the middle of the nature.... I can highly recommend ... we may come back soon

    Jordi2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent stay. Large room with exquisite decoration. Very comfortable stay and highly recommended. Since the accommodation has no address in the countryside, the location marked by the homeowner is actually another road, plus the homeowner is not very easy to point the way. It took me half an hour to find the place, and I have been suggested to the owner to add a GPS location. This makes it easy to find. The water heater stopped working three times, and the owner said to find someone to check it.

    Simon2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Another relaxing stay at the apple store. Thanks Gus :)

The Cotswolds are characterised by attractive small towns and villages, built of the underlying Cotswold stone (a yellow oolitic limestone). In the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous and some of this money was put into the building of churches, leaving the area with a number of large handsome Cotswold stone "wool churches". The area remains affluent, which has encouraged the establishment of many high quality pubs, restaurants and antique shops.
  • Lovely stay. Unbelievably comfortable bed ! Beautiful original wood beams and stone walls, tasteful decor and a lovely place to unwind in. Came for a long weekend of total peace and quiet to relax and recharge ..... and pretty much got exactly that. Hosts left me all the details I needed and didn’t disturb me once , which I really appreciated. Thank You !

    Mitch2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Hayloft is absolutely what you see on the photos - it is spotlessly clean, modern and on trend. The amenities leave nothing to be desired, even down to the little touches like dressing gowns on the bed and fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. The ‘check in’ was very quick and easy, all that was required was a key safe code. The property itself is in a perfect location, an idyllic little village with a pub straight across the road (that does amazing food!) and not too far from Bourton-On-The-Water which is beautiful and well worth a visit. Could not fault our stay and will definitely be recommending to our friends and family!

    Samantha2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Don’t hesitate to book The Hayloft if your travels take you to the Northern Cotswolds. Beautiful home, perfect location, serene surroundings.

    Philip2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful stay and perfect location for visiting the stunning Cotswolds x

    Georgia2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The Hayloft is absolutely gorgeous. Looks exactly as it does in the pictures. We really enjoyed the extra touches like biscuits in the kitchen and lovely smelling body washes in the bathroom. The apartment was also really warm and cosy. Location is great for general cotswolds exploring and the pub opposite (The Plough) is cosy and friendly. We were enjoying our stay so much that we requested an extra day, which the owner allowed us at no extra charge! We really couldn’t have been happier with our stay. I should also add that the bed is really comfy and everything felt sparkling clean.

    Emma2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Hayloft is a unique and beautiful location in the Cotswolds! Much bigger than I expected and we had a lovely time. Highly recommend.

    Amy2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay and is in a really great location only a few minutes away from Bourton-on-the-Water, with lots of other walking stops nearby. Amenities are brilliant and the area the cottage is in is lovely and quiet. Would stay again

    Victoria2019-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Hayloft is a wonderful place to stay in the Cotswold, as being located within 45 min to 1 hour of main places to visit. Cold Aston is very quiet town with a family Pub across the street. We were able to rest a lot. No street’s sound, just the sound of birds to wake up to... The particular care and attention with a bottle of milk in the refrigerator and of bathrobes were much appreciated. Thanks a lot.. we have not left UK yet to get back to Canada, but we are already planning coming back to The Hayloft over next few years.

Surrounded by nothing but acres of fields filled with wildlife, College Farm Cottage is a charming 18th Century child- and dog-friendly* property, sleeping 3 guests in 2 bed-rooms with 1 bathroom. A short drive from the Cotswold towns of Burford and Lechlade, College Farm Cottage is perfect for guests seeking open space and tranquillity, with plenty of walking routes quite literally on your doorstep.
*Dogs: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome at the cottage at an additional cost of £30 per dog. Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog(s) and we will then revise your booking confirmation. Introduction Low hedges, acres of flat green fields and an abundance of wildlife – these are the scenes that will greet you as you head towards College Farm Cottage. Situated on the expansive Bradwell Grove Estate, home to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, it’s hard to im-agine that you are only a few miles from Burford and Lechlade. As you make your way along the open fence-less lanes, you will almost feel as though you’re driving through the middle of the fields. Once you have arrived at the end of the farm track, you will find a delightful cottage with plenty of character – if you’re visiting in the summer months, you’ll even get to appreciate College Farm Cottage in all of its beautiful Wiste-ria–covered glory. College farm was built in 1771 by Trinity College of the University of Oxford for the use of tenant farmers as a source of additional income for the college. A working farm up until recent years, College Farm is now owned by the Bradwell Grove Estate, home to the nearby Cotswold Wildlife Park that exhibits over 260 different species of ani-mals – on a quiet day you may even be able to hear the lions roaring from the cottage! Although College Farm is no longer a working farm, it is surrounded by mainly arable farmland, all of which is organic. With a strong emphasis on conservation around the estate, there is plenty of wildlife to observe, from ground nesting birds to deer. You only have to step outside of the door at College Farm Cottage and you are right in the heart of unspoilt countryside, with bridle paths and walking routes running alongside the farmyard. Inside, the cottage is a lovely mix of traditional and new. The original flagstone flooring and woodburner add a touch of rustic charm, while there’s a new JVC Smart TV for guest use. Benefitting from a bright and airy feeling throughout, the cottage is decorat-ed in neutral tones, accented by quirky pops of colour and unique pieces of art and furniture. The back door opens out into a garden, while the windows boast views of nothing but green fields and the historic farmyard buildings. If you’re looking for peace, tranquillity and open starry skies, you’ve come to the right place. Despite its rural location, College Farm Cottage is just a 5-10 minute drive from the beautiful market town of Burford, where you will find artisan boutiques, cosy cafés, and interesting pubs. Benefitting from the best of both worlds, College Farm Cottage enjoys a secluded location but is also the perfect location for exploring Burford and the wider Cotswolds. Please see the framed OS map in the sitting room where College Farm sits exactly cen-trally. In just a 5-10 minute drive you will find yourself on the High Street of Burford, a stunning medieval market town with plenty to offer. The excellent Co-operative su-permarket on the High Street stocks all immediate shopping requirements and is open 7am – 10pm every day of the week. There is also a Co-operative supermarket in Lech-lade, a 5-10 minute drive in the opposite direction to Burford, open 8am-8pm every day. There are some great cafés in Burford. Head towards the historic church and you will discover the newly built Warwick Hall and café, ideal for a morning coffee and snacks. Another good spot for a reviving cup of coffee or tea is Lynwood & Co on the High Street, where you can also buy delicious local artisan-made Sourdough bread and of course the famous Huffkins tea shop. If you find yourself parking in the main car park for Burford near the church (free parking) you will cross the mill-race connecting to the charming River Windrush that meanders through the Cotswolds, a lovely spot to feed the ducks and swans! Burford used to be a major coaching town between London and the West Country and was home to 35 coaching inns! The town still retains 13 pubs, of which some favour-ites are The Angel, a very good gastropub, The Highway and The Lamb on Sheep Street. There’s also a great variety of specialist shops to explore – including Maggie White and the fascinating Tolsey Museum. Alternatively, The Victoria in Eastleach, a very pretty Cotswold village nearby, is about an hour walk from the cottage and is a wonderful pub with good food, recommended by Emma and William. Also highly recommended - The Five Alls in Filkins and The Bell in Langford, both excellent pubs. All are popular so booking is essential. Around 5 miles south of the cottage, you will find Lechlade-on-Thames, a small historic town on the Thames, from which London could be reached by boat. With plenty of walks, a thriving market square, pubs, cafes and antique shops, Lechlade is slightly off the beaten tourist track compared to Burford and makes for a great day out. Here you will find a fantastic butcher, Cutler & Bayliss, selling high quality meat, cheese, fresh vegetables and bread as well as another Lynwood & Co café. If you fancy exploring a bit further afield, the beautiful ancient Roman market town of Cirencester is about 10 miles south and also there’s Witney which is an easy 11-mile drive east towards Oxford. Like Cirencester it has a great array of high street shops, larger supermarkets such as M&S, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s, eateries and a modern cinema complex. Also, around 15 miles away is the renowned Daylesford Organic Farm in Kingham, a farm complex that offers a farm shop, restaurant, spa as well as other activities such as farm tours and cooking courses. See the Burford Guidebook for further information.

Great location near lots of great villages, towns and Oxford. Clean, charismatic, an incredibly comfy bed. Just the January pick-me-up we were after.

This is a detached conversion which you have to yourselves. The beautifully renovated Grade II Listed stable, in a quintessential Cotswold village, has a cosy fire in a spacious living area. There's a large bedroom with wardrobe, and a modern ensuite shower. Local walks are on the doorstep, close to attractions such as Sherborne Park (National Trust), Burford, Bibury and Stone Barn.
Underfloor heating downstairs, and woodburner with a basket of wood provided. Tea, coffee, milk and snacks are provided in the kitchen. There is a microwave for cooking (no oven or hob) but we can cook meals for you and deliver to the door during the Corona crisis. We recommend cookfood.net.
Fabulous local shop/tea room in the next village. Pub also within walking distance.

Great communication from the host in setting out instructions for parking etc. The small touches like cupcakes, milk and other little amenities were very thoughtful. The cottage is within 10 minutes of some of the most beautiful Cotswold towns and villages and some fabulous pubs. We would highly recommend The Feathered Nest Inn for a special dinner - lovely atmosphere and amazing service. The Old Butchers in Stow-on-the-Wold is also a unique find with a brilliant selection of fish on the menu.

  • A cosy Cotswolds getaway. Rayma and Trevor were fantastic hosts who made me feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated and cosy. It even had an electric heater to keep you warm on a winters night. The reception room was an added bonus, which had a toaster, microwave and mini fridge. The hosts provided amble tea and coffee making facilities. Just what I like! Thank you for a perfect weekend away. I would love to come and stay again sometime!

  • We had a lovely stay in Burford, and really enjoyed the cosy room and incredible location for pubs and a walk in the countryside. Thanks for having us!

    Katie2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Rayma's place in Burford is a beautiful 500 years old home. The Airbnb space you get will be the top floor which consists of a bed room, a living/dining space where you have seating facilities and also microwave, mini fridge and cutlery and your own bathroom. There is also a provision for tea and coffee provided. The bed is cozy and comfy and the room is maintained warm during winters. In the bath space, you get fresh towels, soap and shampoo. Though Breakfast is not provided we have many options to eat out. Trevor and Rayma are very kind and would do everything possible to make your stay memorable. I would mark this as a rare find.

It is spacious and beautifully furnished, with a well appointed kitchen, relaxing living area and a very comfy bed! Parking is easy and there are plenty of shops and pubs in the high street. Can't recommend it enough, thanks for having us!

  • Malc and Tina are doing a great job to ensure their guests have an enjoyable stay. All these small things which make you feel welcome. The flat is right on the High street, but because it's deeper inside, you can hardly hear any noise. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we could think of: just get all the delicious stuff from the Delicatessen and cook (make sure you leave everything clean and tidy as you'll probably find it). Bathroom is warm, spotless, has all the toiletries. All in all, we enjoyed our stay a lot, and one night is certainly not enough there. Hope to come back for a long weekend one day. Thank you both!

    Konstantin2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The property was lovely and such a great location, right on Burford high street but tucked away so no issues with noise, lovely little touches and a warm cosy feel. Bed was comfy and the WiFi was spot on. A great place to stay when exploring the Cotswold, we will definitely be back!!

The Barn is situated in the beautiful Cotswold village of Windrush which is on the borders of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. The Barn was converted into a detached house in the 1970s. There are many walks close by including the Cotswold Way. We are the next village along from the beautiful Sherborn Estate, where Springwatch and Autumn watch were filmed. I have one double bedroom with double bed with private bathroom. There is free parking.
The Barn is situated on the edge of the village of Windrush. It is very quiet and tranquil. There are far reaching views from the house and garden. It would make an ideal retreat for artists. It is close to the beautiful Cotswold town of Burford and only 3.1 miles away from Stone Barn a popular wedding venue. It is 1 mile off the A40 which makes it ideal for sightseeing around Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. We are only 20 miles from the famous Cheltenham Race course. We are 8 miles from Bourton on the Water otherwise known as the Little Venice of the Cotswolds.
Windrush is a beautiful Cotswold village with a church and a village hall where many functions are held. The National Trust Sherborne Estate is one mile away where there is a thriving shop with a cafe which sells delicious coffee and cakes. There are walks all over Sherborne Estate. There is a Pub at Little Barrington which is one mile away which serves delicious food.
  • The location of Jackie's place is in the beautiful Cotswold area. There are a couple of villages nearby in easy walking distance that are really charming. You feel immersed in the serenity of the Cotswold countryside. Jackie is very welcoming and accommodating. We highly recommend her place.

  • We could not recommend this place more highly. The house was beautiful, quaint and clean and the room comfy and beautifully cosy. The real gem in this experience, however, was Jackie who is a fabulous and gracious host! Nothing was too much trouble, but the highlight for us was getting to share breakfast with her as we chatted with her about all aspects of life, which was really wonderful! We’ll definitely be making another visit not only for the house and wealth of things to do in the area but for the lovely hostess with the mostest! Thank you, Jackie!

Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury cottage. Converted grade 2 listed stables. Near Burford in the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty. Quiet location with rear views across open fields. Car required. New furniture, fully fitted kitchen.
The stables were built in the mid 19th century. We recently converted part into a luxury cottage. The design is up to date, but in sympathy with the beauty of the old building. Many of the original features have been retained. For example one bedroom is set in one of the old stables stalls, within the stalls doors. The kitchen is in the stable boy's room with wood panelled walls and saddle racks. The cottage is fully independent and fully fitted (e.g. washer/drier, iron, fridge freezer). We are close to Stone Barn in Upper Windrush. The popular town of Burford is a few minutes away. As well as the basics (all sheets, towels, soaps, shampoos etc) we provide tea, coffee capsules, condiments, washing and dishwashing powder. We have wellies for walks available in a variety of sizes, and maps of the local area to help guide your route.
We are set next to open fields in a village dating back hundreds of years. In the Domesday Book of 1086 it is described as Wenric. Our village church is 12th Century Norman, the Manor House dates to 1570.
  • A beautifully presented cottage which has been thoughtfully fitted out. Lovely linen and towels and nice smellies made it feel special. Great location for walks and visiting Cotswold towns and villages.

Would definitely recommend the Bell in Langford for somewhere to eat, a 15-20 min drive but food was fantastic. Mike's place was super clean and very good getaway from London for the weekend - just 1hr30 in the car.

  • What an amazing space. I felt incredibly relaxed, safe and cosy staying here. Rebecca is an excellent host and helped whenever needed. The bed and pillows are so comfortable and under floor heating just makes it that more dreamy. Outstanding value for money I believe for what you get. A private safe courtyard, own entrance, beautiful big bedroom/lounge area in a tranquil little village? Would love to return in summer. Thank you

  • Without a doubt, the most beautiful air bnb in Great Britain! The pictures on the advertisement do not do it justice. The bathroom is stunning & has heated flooring, the towels were extra fluffy, the carpet in the living area was immaculate, the interior decoration was stylish & modern, yet very country & cosy at the same time. The place is fully equipped with shampoos, shower gels, moisturisers, make up remover pads etc so if you’re the type of person who wants to go places with hand luggage only, this air bnb is for you. The host couldn’t of been more fantastic, pure British hospitality at every moment. Wish I could have stayed for longer, 100% would recommend this air bnb! Absolute perfection!

  • Rebecca was a wonderful host and was very open and welcoming and has a great knowledge of the local area. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but the location is fantastic, private, and very picturesque. Would have loved to stay longer and look forward to coming back in the future.

  • Our stay was unfortunately only one night, but we wish we could have stayed forever! Everything about The Granary was superb. The room is vary spaces and open, as well as being self contained. The bed, carpet and under floor heating meant that our stay was extremely relaxing and comfortable. There is a small sofa to watch TV which is Netflix equipped. And there is also a small dining table with 2 chairs, obviously for eating at. There was plenty of teas to chose from as well as a section of cereals. Plenty of cutlery is also available in the draws. Outside the room there is a utility room that you are able to use, and this contains a fridge, sink and microwave. We will be back!

Welcome to Causeway Cottage, brought to you exclusively by Character Cottages, local specialists in stylish, Cotswold holiday rentals. Causeway Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed property which sleeps six guests, in three well presented bedrooms, with two bathrooms. Dating back to the mid-17th century, the property has an abundance of character features including exposed wooden beams, a stone mullion window, terracotta tiling in the kitchen and two inglenook fireplaces, one of which has a wood burning stove. To complement these traditional features, the property has been finished in a contemporary style with the addition of modern facilities such as wireless internet access, a Smart TV and a well-equipped kitchen. Built from original Cotswold stone, Causeway Cottage has a beautiful exterior to match its interior, with a wonderful wisteria trailing across the porch and living room windows, and dormer windows on the first floor which offer lovely views across the garden. The enchanting garden is an excellent spot to socialise with friends and family in the warmer months and there is off-street parking for up to three cars on the gravel driveway. Causeway Cottage is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Old Minster Lovell, an unspoilt village with a mixture of attractive thatched and Cotswold stone cottages. The village benefits from a well-regarded pub, the Old Swan, which prides itself on its use of local ingredients, and the 12th century parish church of St Kenelm is just a short walk away from the cottage. Alongside the church lie the extensive ruins of Minster Lovell Hall, a former 15th century manor house which is now a Grade 1 listed building maintained by English Heritage. Old Minster Lovell is also home to Minster Mill, a luxury hotel with a spa and restaurant which members of the public can utilise by appointment only. The larger residential settlement of New Minster is just a ten minute walk away, with another popular pub and a local shop. Located within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many local walks and cycle trails to explore, including those along the River Windrush which flows through the village itself. Old Minster Lovell is well placed for visiting many of the charming towns and villages of the Cotswolds including the medieval market town of Burford with its wide range of eateries, and the scenic village of Bourton-on-the-Water, often referred to as the “Venice of the Cotswolds” due to the many arching bridges which cross over the River Windrush. The patio is bordered by a low dry-stone wall, which itself is bordered by fragrant lavender, and in the late spring the gorgeous wisteria and climbing flowers add splashes of colour to the Cotswold stone exterior. A second patio can be found beneath the mature trees at the side of the garden and this area contains a charcoal barbecue and two sun loungers. Just off the driveway is a double garage which houses a large table tennis table and croquet set. The gravel driveway has off-street parking for up to three cars.

Burford is twenty miles west of Oxford and is considered the southern gateway to the Cotswolds. It is a beautiful old Cotswold town, famous for its sloping High Street, which runs down from the high Wolds, with beautiful views over the open countryside, to the willow fringed River Windrush, in the pretty Windrush valley. A fine three arched medieval bridge crosses the river at the foot of the hill. In Anglo-Saxon times, Burford was the site of a fortified ford on the river Windrush. The town grew to be an important crossroads and a wealthy wool town, which is very popular with visitors today. The broad main street is lined with dignified old houses, ancient cottages and many shops, all of which appear little changed since Tudor times, as witnessed by the precarious angles the buildings have come to rest at. There are wonderful little side streets to explore, as well as many old pubs, cafes and antique shops. The 15th century parish church of St. John Baptist is magnificent and is another sign of the wealth that the wool trade generated for the town. Food & Drink Burford has numerous places to eat and drink, with a range of cuisines and prices to suit most tastes and budgets. The list below is a small sample of the range of options available: The Bull at Burford (www.bullatburford.co.uk): The Brasserie at the Bull at Burford is a gourmet delight. According to the seasons, specialties range from the chefs homemade pork terrine or Asian seafood stew for starters to hanging kebab skewer specials to medallions of venison. Of the desserts the trio of caramel and the seasonal Eton mess are already a favourite on the menu. Since opening in June 2010, the Brasserie has been given 2 AA rosettes for Culinary Excellence and a special AA Breakfast Award; The Mermaid (www.themermaidburford.co.uk): Spanning two floors, this charming and charismatic restaurant maintains the original 18th century architecture, complete with traditional stone features and fireplaces, and old wooden beams and fittings. If you're a fan of intimate dining, you'll love the candlelit atmosphere upstairs, whilst there is also a conservatory area perfect for large families, and additional space in the general bar area. A varied menu is offered in the restaurant, with homemade food to suit all preferences and dietary persuasions. The award-winning bar has a range of excellent beers and local ales. Three real ales are always available, along with a changing guest ale.

Stunning house in the heart of the Cotswolds, set in the rolling countryside and an ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’. Enjoy peace and tranquillity whilst at the same time just a short walk from Burford, nominated by Forbes as the 6th most idyllic place to live in Europe, with fabulous shops & restaurants. Whilst a special place for all, we are particularly in tune with families' needs. The house is set in two acres with swings, slides, bikes, goals & even chickens. Come and unwind with us!
The house has all the expected amenities, including private parking for 2 guest cars, plus a few nice to have extras, ranging from freshly laid eggs to a dedicated place in our field to have a camp fire to sky TV (with the entertainment and sports channels included) in front of a wood burning stove. The house benefits from a ground source heat pump and runs 100% on renewable energy.
The Cotwolds are world renowned for their beauty and Burford is one of the jewels in the crown. You are spoilt for choice for local shops, pubs and things to do. Within a short drive are Blenheim Palace, the Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Burford Garden Centre. For the more active there's public swimming pools, plenty of excellent golf courses and lots of challenging but beautiful bike routes.
  • Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Great facilities for both adults and children, immaculately clean and so comfortable, particularly in front of the log fire at night! Lucy and Toby were kind hosts, really quick to respond to any queries. We would highly recommend and love to go back!

    Caroline2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful few days staying at Lucy and Toby's place. They were very helpful during check-in and check-out, and provided lots of useful local tips. The house was exactly as described and was spotless on arrival.

    Robert2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Although we're actually quite self-sufficient it was great Toby and Lucy were on hand if needed. We're particularly grateful for the lift into town during storm Dennis! We liked the fact we got what we expected, all the details and pics were as described and made the stay comfortable and easy. The walk into town was perfect too (despite the mud!) Would very much recommend

    Adrian2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a business meet up. Bright and airy during the day for working and a lovely cosy fire and a comfy couch at night for relaxing. Walking distance to the Carpenter's Arms for some local fayre (the roe deer is highly recommended!).

  • Amazing cottage and lovely hosts, would go back!

    Hend2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lucy and Toby’s place is the perfect little get away. We were blown away by its proximity to Burford itself (a short, scenic walk through a field) and other footpaths. The place itself is stylish and cosy - we were welcomed on arrival and Lucy and Toby provided us with Prosecco for my birthday celebrations and a fresh loaf which was a very thoughtful touch. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you 😊

    Laura2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. The location is idyllic, really peaceful but just a 5 minute walk through the fields to all the amenities of Burford high street. The property was clean, homely and containing everything you need for a weekend in the country. Highly recommend and hope to return.

A traditional stone cottage with exposed Cotswold stone walls. The Cottage offers flexible ground floor accommodation- 2 bedrooms and shower room, with a large walk-in shower, plus a sofa bed and cot. There is under floor heating, plus timber floors and a fully equipped kitchen/ diner. It's surrounded by open countryside.
You are viewing the Granary Cottage- see below. Our cottages and suites form part of a collection of converted and historic farm buildings dating back to the 1790s and located in a Conservation Target Area, along the Shill Brook Valley. We have 2 cottages- the Stables is a 3 bed cottage with an optional en-suite 4th bedroom by opening up access to the Hayloft (see below) via the landing area, which can be locked off or interconnecting. The Granary is a 2 bed cottage. Both cottages have open plan kitchen/ lounge and dining areas. Bedding & towels are included & the kitchens are fully equipped. We also have 2 one bed suites, with kitchenettes- the Saddlery Suite is a double has a lounge area and a wet room and is wheelchair friendly. The king sized Hayloft Suite has a shower room and small sofa and TV area in the kitchenette. There is an optional twin with the Saddlery which is ideal for carers or to create a family space with the Saddlery. Also, the Saddlery and Hayloft can be locked off or interconnected via a lobby. All units have private entrances. There is a cot and high chair in each cottage and a travel cot available for the Suites on request. All units have access to our games room (with fitness equipment, table tennis, darts and pool) and we have parking for 9 cars, but we can provide over-spill parking if needed. We can sleep 14 as standard in the 7 bedrooms in the 2 cottages and 2 suites, plus 2 in the extra twin if needed, bringing the total to 16 in beds. In total there are 5 sofa beds- 2 in the Stables and 1 in each of the Granary, Saddlery & Hayloft. Therefore, we can sleep up to 21 with all units, the extra twin and all sofa beds in use. We have tried to be as flexible as possible in terms of the party size we can accommodate and in providing a space where extended families or friends can get together, but enjoy some separation. At the same time, we can accommodate a number of separate groups. If you need any extra space in addition to what you have booked, just let us know.
Although we live in the middle of open fields with horses, we are 5 minutes by car from shops, supermarkets and places to eat. We are close to Burford, Bampton and Bibury and 5 minutes from the fabulous Cotswold Wildlife Park.
  • Excellent accommodation if looking for somewhere to stay in the Witney/Carterton area. Cosy, homely and clean ... with all of the amenities you would expect (and more!), in a great rural location just a few minutes from the town centre, I wouldn't hesitate to return in future and definitely recommend this place. The hosts are also very accommodating, quick to respond, yet leave you to yourself if that's what you want.

    Rob2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect home away from home. I attended a wedding in the area with a large group, and was glad to have stayed on another night to make good use of the property. There are various apartments of differing capacity of which we occupied more than one, and they were cosy, clean, and well laid out. Clever furnishings make the spaces versatile for different group sizes and activities, and the kitchen equipment is well stocked. The different properties remain fairly private from one another despite being adjacent. We had good communication throughout, and the owners were flexible to accommodate our needs, which was very much appreciated. I would certainly recommend!

  • Lovely little place on the outskirts of the Cotswolds. Double room was extremely comfy and the shower was fantastic. Very very well appointed; we even managed to make a full on roast and all the utensils we needed were there. So quiet and peaceful and the underfloor heating was absolutely lovely! Definitely recommended!

  • Beautiful cottage set in gorgeous grounds. The cottage is in a great location. We attended a wedding at Caswell House and also visited the local town, Alvescot, crocodiles of the world, Burford and Bourton on the water. All in close proximity. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay. Cottage was clean with towels provided. Kitchen kitted out with everything you could need. Definitely recommend this little cottage to anyone as it's also brilliant value for money.

    Joanna2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the granary for a family wedding. It was clean and spacious and well kept. Had everything you needed for a self catering stay for a young family The single beds were low enough to the ground that you didn’t have to worry if small children rolled out. Parking was plentyfull and it was easy to find and near all the shops in Carterton. Not sure what the bad reviews about using the appliances were about everything was very easy to use even if you weren’t familiar with the brand of cooker. Would recommend and stay again

    Natalie2019-08-05T00:00:00Z

Tudor Cottage is in the beautiful Cotswold town of Burford. Walk to the high street that has a number of pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, and many antique and gift shops. There's a local butcher, cheese shop, and a co-op for picking up supplies.
  • Tudor Cottage is absolutely stunning and so much more than we were expecting for our weekend in the Cotswolds. Everything about the process from the initial booking to the check out was faultless. We had a wonderful stay and really could not fault a single thing. This is the most highly recommended property on Airbnb as far as I am concerned!

  • Fantastic stay at this cottage - 3 bedrooms all well designed and comfy beds. Kitchen and living room both were huge and we ended up choosing to stay inside the house more than outside! Nice touches such as Xbox, Netflix, lots of books, coffee maker, spices, hangers, indoor fireplace, blankets, umbrellas etc really added to the stay. Plus beautiful garden! Also although no parking at the house, there’s lots of free street parking options.

    Sarah2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • An incredible home in a beautiful location. I can’t recommend this place enough - thoughtful touches on arrival (eggs/bread/bacon etc), a stylish home, and Louise was super quick to respond to my message. I can’t wait to return!

  • We had high expectations for our stay, but we were blown away by the cottage and the perfect location. Our stay was made even more special by the fact that it was the Christmas holidays. Spending Christmas eve, Christmas day, and boxing day in Burford with close family is what dreams and happy memories are made of.

    Paul2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cottage, high spec features and great location

    Rob2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Having seen the Reviews, we were expecting the house and location to be good but it exceeded our expectations in all respects. This is a wonderful house, in a beautiful location and has everything you need. It is well equipped, stylishly appointed and idyllic. A big thank you to Monica and Louise who were always on hand, if needed, and quick to respond and ensure everything was perfect for us. The only negative was that the 3 nights was not long enough!! Cannot recommend enough.

    Jo2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • This home is perfection. It was plenty spacious and well appointed and fully stocked for 3 couples. Truly incredible.

    Joshua2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location in Burford, tucked away just off high street, so only a five minute stroll to local pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. House has been tastefully refurbished and is immaculately clean. We stayed in November but can imagine it would be lovely in the summer, the garden is large and has lovely seating area. We set a roaring open fire last night after returning from dinner at one of the local eateries. Beds really comfortable, third double bedroom is a little small, but we only slept in them so wasn’t a problem and wouldn’t put us off returning. Kitchen well equipped and spotlessly clean.

  • Gus's place is immaculately presented and clean, with first class communication throughout the booking and stay. This is an ideal location for a quiet weekend away, a view of horses right outside the accommodation was a nice surprise and there is a great children's playground within walking distance. The world of Crocodiles zoo also just down the road, was surprisingly entertaining! We will definitely be planning a return visit. Thanks Gus.

  • The barn is beautifully finished, well-equipped, in a wonderful quiet spot (even with Storm Dennis!), yet only five minutes off the A40 - an ideal base camp for exploring the Cotswolds or back towards Oxford. For our two boys (6 and 2) the twin bedroom was ideal and there's space to expend some energy both inside and out. There's a fantastic playground just a few minutes walk away too. We hope to return the next time we're visiting the area.

  • The perfect weekend getaway. A birthday weekend for a group of 7 girls. The cottage itself is stunning and Sarah makes a lot of effort with the little details. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine, some milk and orange juice! The little touches make a difference! Sara responded very quickly to any queries and gave us recommendations for local eateries and walks. Rose Cottage felt like a 5* hotel, beds were so comfy and spacious. The perfect place for walks to the local pub and cosy nights in on the sofa in front of the fire. We will definitely be back!

    Lydia2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah was a great host, very responsive and accommodated all our needs. The cottage is lovely and perfect for a family stay. Well equipped and the log fire was just lovely. Would highly recommend.

    Rachel2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Cosy but spacious cottage (we were 5 adults) surrounded by beautiful Cotswolds countryside. We loved the log burner (we bought a generous bag of extra logs) and found the place well equipped - we happily cooked a roast for Christmas dinner. Comfortable and quiet at night with most bedrooms having nice thick curtains. Only minor quibble was it would have been nice to be able to regulate the heating more ourselves as we sometimes found it too hot or too cold, but overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rose Cottage!

    Ellis2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's place was clean and tidy, with everything you need. Plenty of space in the living and dining areas for us (a group of 7), and in a lovely little village. Sarah was speedy at answering questions and even provided milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine! The perfect getaway.

    Beth2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's cottage is really spacious but cosy. All the rooms were really clean, well appointed and laid out. The kitchen is really well equipped too which is helpful if you decide to cook a meal in. We really enjoyed that there were some pretty Christmas decorations as it helped make our break feel very festive :-) Would recommended

  • A beautiful home in Burford. Really comfortable and stunning rooms. Michael was so welcoming and gave us a wonderful tour of the garden and history of the house. Great recommendations for drinks and dinner. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

  • This is possibly the best bed & breakfast I have ever stayed in. I only stayed for one night but instantly wanted to stay for longer. The house & gardens are beautiful - a real feast for the senses. The rooms are picture perfect and super comfortable. The whole place was spotless. The attention to detail & finishing touches were faultless. Michael is a first class host, he gave us a tour of the house & gardens on arrival, explained where everything was & how everything worked. He was full of recommendations for restaurants & shops in Burford & the surrounding area. Greyhounds is a real treat & I am booking a return visit ASAP.

  • The Greyhound Inn is a little piece of paradise situated in the gorgeous town of Burford... a perfect location from which to explore the Cotswolds. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and Michael’s hospitality was warm and considerate. The home is truly beautiful, with absolutely every corner decorated with objects to admire! The gardens are amazing and our room was delightful.... full of thoughtful creature comforts. We loved the cozy four poster bed with soft linen and down, the sparkling clean bathroom and the perfume of the freshly cut flowers. It was definitely our favourite stay after a month travelling the UK and can’t recommend more highly enough.

Great range of breakfast items supplied & having microwave meant I could rustle up quick lunch & dinners (no hob or oven but that didn't matter). Excellent communication at all times.
