Stan is very nice and polite owner, who helped me to feel comfortable at home and helped me to reach my conference by leading me to the place (it was 30 minutes by walking). The place conforms to quality and price.

A comfy and spacious place to stay. The apartment is clean and well decorated. And Stan is a nice guy that he provided breakfast and snacks for three of us to enjoy. Feel like home! Recommended!

Stan is a very helpful host, and was diligent about making sure that my friend and I arrived and left safely. The flat was neat and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and downtown is very accessible. If walking back from downtown late at night, watch out for reckless drivers.

What can I say .... Really, Stan went over the top with being my host. If possible I would give him 6 stars. The appartment is really quite near to the city, has 4 metrostations around only a few minutes walk away. It is absolutely clean, has enough space for all belongings, the beds are big and feel good sleeping in them. The check in did even happen earlier as "normally" after I asked for it. Stan is working most of the time but -as in my lucky case- when he has time he is flexible, helps whereever he can and in general he treats his guests as friends. Great! He made my short trip to brussels an event and gave me a home instead only a pleace to lay my head on a pillow. With his amazing hints and tips I could see all interesting and nice place that you should see when being in Brussels. He invited me for breakfast, drove me around to the Atomium and the european center aso. - even early in the morning he drove me back to Zaventem airport. Not to be forgotten that we had a very nice evening at the delirious cafe in the center of brussels. Really without lying - I thik I found a new friend, not only a good host. THANKS A LOT FOR ALL! This host is 120% recommendable.

The only problem with our stay at Elias' place is that we didnt stay long enough ! Elias is a very welcoming host who goes above and beyond to make people enjoy their time in Brussels. The appartment is stunning and the room is very spacious and nicely decorated. It was also very clean! The kitchen is fully equiped which is great because we enjoy cooking. Elias was a great host! His house/apartment is amazing, it's like you went back in time for 100 years. Actually, me and my girlfriend both agreed that this was one of our favorite sights in Brussels. :) Even though we arrived earlier than the checkin time, he let us drop our bags in the house. Later when we came back it turned out there was a little problem with the keys of the apartment we booked, so he upgraded us to a bigger one which was purely amazing! The distance to Brussels Midi Train Station is between 20-30 minute walk, and there is a tram stop next to the place so you can go to the city center without a problem. It's been a pleasure to stay there. :)

I had a nice stay here for one week. The tram stop is just across the street from the front door. There are two grocery stores within walking distance. Wifi was fast and the neighbourhood was relatively quite. It is walkable to Brussels Midi station but the actual downtown core would probably require taking the transit by the house. The room was very clean and as pictured. However, note that the private bathroom contains only a shower/bath and sink. The toilet is in a separate room next door.

The stay at Elias' home was very pleasant. Brussels is a great city, and the house is in a very nice neighborhood close to some very nice parks. Elias was away when we stayed, but he was still very easy to reach when I had questions. The room was very big and clean, with our personal adjoined bathroom and personal toilet down one flight of stairs. All in all a great value.

Elias had to go away on business, but had a friend of his look after my reception and key giving etc, whilst keeping in touch with me via SMS. His house is big, with a garden and conservatory and Belgian beer in the fridge. The room is spacious with a small balcony overlooking the street. Though there is no AC it never got too hot. The bathroom was fine. Elias arranged for me to park my car in the street outside. Taken all together a very agreeable stay with a most agreeable host. If you're staying for more than ten tram trips, buy the discounted package and save some money.

We had a great stay at Elias' apartment! The room is bright and bigger than it looks in the pictures and the house is beautiful. Everything was perfectly clean in the bedroom and en-suite, the center was easily reachable with lots of transport surrounding. Elias left us a personalized guide which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I booked this room for 4nights during the weekdays. Elias seemed like a very busy guy but took the time to show me the ins and outs of the house. I felt very welcome. The house was much better than I expected. The kitchen was very well equiped and the living room was very cosy. The bedroom is a great size and also the bathroom didnt dissapoint me. I had a lot of privacy during my stay. It was a very relaxing place to come home to after work. The next week I booked again, and i would definitely recommend my family staying here instead of a hotel.

Great location and very nice people

Thanks Najat and her family very much and I enjoyed my stay tremendously! She should be nominated as a super host. The central location of Najat's place is perfect to see all the attractions of Brussel. Grand Place was only 5 mins walking distance away. The room and the shared bathroom were clean, and the room is exactly as described. If I come back to Brussel, I will definitely stay at Najat. P.S. Najat's new baby is adorable and she's so quiet, no need to worry about crying baby at all.

Absolutely recommended place to stay. Communication was very good and they even allowed me to drop off my liuggage the night before. I stayed at the private studio next door to the host. It is not a super luxurious place, but is equipped with all you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen and toilet are clean and well equipped; toilettries, toilet paper, towels... on one side, and oil, salt... on the other. There is also a washing machine which came handy. The bed could be a bit more comfy, but is neither too bad. The place is next to a tram station connecting to metro and train stations, gare du midi and grand place are within walking distance. A good valu for money place with 5 star hosts. I can only say: Thank you for such a pleasant stay :)

Najat was na amazing host! Her flat is located very central, just a few minutes walk from Manekin Pis and Grand Place. We didn't hear her baby at all. Room is very spacious, enough for two people. Our host was kind and let us to leave our luggage until evening. She also gave us some tips Where to eat/ what to see etc which is really helpful. I would definitely recommend Najat as a host!

Great place, everything you need and within walking distance of everything.

Everything was fine, very friendly family, let us use kitchen even though we stayed just for a two days (no additional fees required), towels are provided as well. Nice place to stay. And location - just few minutes from the Grand Place and Mannaker Pis, easy to get there from Central station as well. And I think 20 minutes walking to the Midi-Station. So really nice place, cheap, excellent location!

It was very nice to stay with John, Eline and Dean. We had very nice chats and they provided me all I needed for my stay at Brussels. For example, the breakfasts with plenty of food of all types were fantastic. The apartment and his location are excellent. I really felt like at home. I strongly recommend them.

Eline is a great person and extremely great host. She has got smiling face and very gentle while talking. My experience was amazing as a guest at her place. One thing i am very grateful of her that she responded of my request very quickly. I missed my journey to London that night and i was in middle of nowhere in Brussels . Eline's place is great. It's a 2 minute walk across from the Bourse and the Grand Place. Her place is really clean, nice big bath, great bakery downstairs with a good bfast. I will definitely stay here again.

Eline and John's place is great, right across from the Bourse and the Grand Place. Their place is very easy to find, and there is a great bakery next door, a pharmacy across the street, and a good selection of restaurants in the nearby streets. This is my second time staying with them, and will definitely stay again when I'm in Brussels.

Great great great location! As a person who always have admired Grand Place, this apartment is just there. Thierry is sincere, friendly and helpful. Maybe the only thing to improve is the range of kitchen tools. You might need more to cook in the apartment. All in all, it was a lovely stay, good job.

As a group of 6 guys, we spent a very nice weekend in Thierry's duplex. The duplex is as described, very central and was clean. These two points were important to us, therefore we are happy about our stay. We recommend it!

Overall, a great stay! Thierry was easy to communicate with and he was very accommodating when needed. I arrived early and he allowed me to store my luggage at the apartment while it was being cleaned, and I was able to check-in early after the cleaning was complete. This was very appreciated. It was literally around the corner from Grand Place and all the action. It's also close to the central station which was very convenient. Only downside is the apartment was quite hot, and because of the noise outside into the early morning, keeping the windows open meant you could hear the people partying outside. There is a fan in the room however so that was helpful when closing the Windows. The only other downside was the apartment could have been a bit cleaner. Mainly, there was a lot of hair on the floors and a bit on the furniture from the previous guests. That said, the bathrooms and bed were cleaned well, which is more important for me so the rest didn't really bother me. It's on the 3rd floor so you'd have be ok with taking the stairs to get there. I was ok with it, but heads up if your mobility doesn't allow for many steps. Overall, I would recommend this place. Thanks Thierry for a positive experience in Brussels.

Nice, clean and modern loft right beside the grand palace. Great for anyone who wants to be close to the sites, restaurants and bars. Enjoyed my stay here.

Souhail is the best host :)

This is a great place to stay, it is located less than a 5 minute walk away from a metro station, but also quite centrally located leaving places like the European Quarter and areas around the Grand Place a walkable distance away. The flat itself is very clean and well heated (I was there in December!), and Souhail is very friendly and welcoming host, who is very willing to help you find your way around the city.

Souhail was awesome! He was very helpful in many ways. The room is very warm and comfortable, also near to the metro station and lots of stores. I would highly recommend this place!

Great stay

I did not meet Alin. He has a self check-in method that is efficient. It was a cosy big room. It is located in a nice area. I would recommend it if you do mind a lot of rules and guidelines.

Pros: -Very clean place -Good location -Very cozy Cons: -We have a misunderstood with the self check in(I have never done that kind of check in before) so we made a mistake ringing other neighbors in the apartment at midnight. -The way that Alin speak to us even I accepted that we make a big mistake, it was rude because we came from America and to have a host that practically was insultive with us was not nice I think Alin has done a great job with his place, I just think things didn't manage well from the two parts. I recommended the place! 4 stars

The location is great, suitable for traveling as local. It's very close to the tourist attractions, I personally like walking around. There is restaurants and supermarket nearby. Although I didn't meet the host personally, but we communicate with airbnb message, and he is responsive. The room is big enough and clean, and we could use kitchen for cooking hot food and water. It's very convenient.

The Alin apartment is very comfortable and pleasant. All extremely organized where we find guidance for the whole house.

House location and the rooms are nice but very satisfied with his special bed and breakfast for a little more than rules and landlord especially if you want to borrow the kitchen, then we would see twice kitchen landlord pointed itself in the next little bit I first came to his home kitchen not familiar with acting like we run a clean kitchen will not get the same (a little angry) PS: To give a suggestion to fellow 1. If you do not consider the kitchen 2. His family is only one toilet is shared, provisions can only 15 minutes to take a bath to wash the girls long to be carefully considered (Fortunately, not many people during our lives, but fortunately did not go to the bathroom when they are how, etc.)

Julie's flat is perfect for a stay in Brussels. It is perfecly located and very well furnished, with everything you would be needing during your stay. Julie (and her mom !) answered all our questions very quickly, giving us all the information we needed. We would definitively stay again in Julie's flat if needed !

I could not have asked for a better place to stay. Julie's house made our stay in Brussels very enjoyable. The flat was even better than the pictures could show. The flea market is outside every day and can be loud in the morning but I would rather start my days early. And she supplied ear plugs but it didn't bother me at all. We made a home cooked meal one of our nights which was nice since we ate out most of our 2 weeks in Europe. This was our best Airbnb stay yet and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Brussels. And the city center is close by foot, which I loved.

We had a lovely stay at Julie's apartment - it was well equipped with everything you need and had a great view above the markets. Julie was very helpful and provided a range of folders with information about the city.

Julie was a lovely host. She made us feel very welcome and stressed the fact that we were to use the apartment as if it was our own. She even supplied a us with a few local beers! Julie was very available/accessible before and throughout the trip. Pros: - Location is awesome. Short distance to Brussels old town and also Brux Midi train station (which made days out to other cities easy). Marolles is a lively district with plenty of variation in shops and places to eat, nearby bars and pubs stocked amazing drinks, you certainly don't feel out of the way. - Huge windows allowing an amazing view over Marolles, with the palace of justice on the hill and the flee market right below. - Pictures very accurate, tastefully decorated and homely feel. Cons: Julie covers all of the tiny niggles in her welcome guide so make sure to read it!! - It seems that the flee market is active every day. It can be heard very early in the morning and is loud, especially during set up. Julie supplies earplugs, but simply closing the windows eliminates 90% of the sound. - We found that the fridge/freezer leaked, even with the doors securely closed. Our food was totally fine and fridge worked perfectly, water just somehow gathered at the bottom, so we had to mop it up daily. Apart from that, as previously mentioned, everything is covered in the guide. ... We had an amazing time in Belgium visiting Antwerp and Bruges as well as enjoying the delights of Brussels. Knowing that we had Julie's apartment to return to at the end of the day made the trip even better. Thank you very much Julie!

Lovely house - beautiful as you see in the pictures - very well equipped and clean! Julie was very kind to give us every information we needed. On the other side, the apartment was exposed on the flea market, so there were some unpleasant noises in the first morning and the staircases to reach it very restricted (reach the 4th floor with the luggages was a feat)!
