Haley's apartment is very nice, clean with great location! Her place is very close to subway stations, nice restaurants in great part of Brooklyn. I can really recommend it to everyone.

Alan2017-04-03T00:00:00ZIt was perfect and clean. A good communication with Haley. Everything was perfect. Best bnb ever ! Thank you
Sarah2017-04-08T00:00:00ZScenic and clean
Minh2017-04-09T00:00:00ZThis room (and apartment) was exactly as described. It was very clean, and if you want to be in the middle of Brooklyn Heights, very close to Montague St. but on a quiet street, this is your place! I'd certainly stay there again.
Michael2017-04-05T00:00:00ZHaley was very accommodating with my late night arrival. Brooklyn Heights is a great community, so explore the beautiful water front parks and the quaint restaurants. Last but by no means least, if you would like to have a place to worship while away from your home, you will find one in this neighborhood, regardless of your faith. Thank you Haley.

Safiah was an incredible host and could not have been more welcoming. She met us at the apartment right when we arrived, showed us everything which is exactly as shown, and went so far above and beyond the call of duty to help us out one super cold night by fetching a room heater from a friend in Queens! I can't express enough how grateful we (my girlfriend and I) are to Safiah! As far as the neighborhood, you couldn't find better. Steps away from Clark St stop it only takes a few minutes to get into Manhattan. You are surrounded in Brooklyn Heights with clothing stores, restaurants of all different types, and more! We fell in love with the neighborhood and can't wait to go back. You WANT to stay with Safiah when coming to New York because you know that you will have a comfortable stay with a warm and welcoming host in a neighborhood with unlimited possibilities. Only thing to worry about is those flights of stairs - expect to be breathless after climbing them day in and day out!
Michael2015-04-30T00:00:00ZSafiah's place was a delight. Great neighborhood, and Safiah herself greeted me to make sure I got in and situated. She even bought me a bunch of bananas, which was very much appreciated.
Toby2016-07-17T00:00:00ZCozy apartment in a great location. Extremely clean. Only half a block from the subway. You can be in Manhattan in minutes or explore Brooklyn. Safiah couldn't have been more nice. Very accommodating. Highly recommend this listing.
Laurie and Wayne2016-11-01T00:00:00ZWe love Brooklyn Heights! If you can make it up the stairs

Amine2016-05-07T00:00:00ZWe had a fantastic time in New York , house was very clean and in a great spot. Would love to go back again sometime
Mandy2016-09-05T00:00:00ZSafiah was very sweet and quick to respond to all questions. The place was great, clean and worked out perfectly. I would totally stay again!
Nora2015-04-06T00:00:00ZThis trip was my best Airbnb experience so far. The place is in a perfect location for subway, clean, and it is exactly as advertised. The neighborhood is peaceful. There are a lot of local activities that you can do/attend. Besides the technical details about the place, the best part of our trip was our host herself. Safiah turned our 1 week trip into a dream holiday. Thank you Safiah!

Wonderful space with modern kitchen and bath along with amazing, private outdoor space
Mary2016-12-05T00:00:00ZThe house was great and in a wonderful location.
Traci2017-03-06T00:00:00ZGreat apartment and great location close to subway and restaurants.
Sophia2016-10-31T00:00:00ZLuke was very accommodating and responsive. His place is very roomy and much better than staying in a tiny NYC hotel!
Ana2017-02-01T00:00:00ZLuke's place was great. Great, cozy vibe and totally updated baths and kitchen. We used to live in the neighborhood and wanted an experience like what we used to have and this was perfect for that. Great location (close to all the shops and restaurants on Court St., clsoe to Brooklyn Bridge Park, 10 minute walk to Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Montague), charming space (with a backyard!!) and wonderful little oasis from the city. Would definitely stay again!
Dayna2016-11-20T00:00:00ZGreat location on a quiet street. The property is spacious, clean, and had more than adequate room for us. I'd stay again and again
don2017-03-13T00:00:00ZWhile making the listing responses were very timely. The apartment was as described, clean and light. Luke made getting into the unit easy and when there were some minor issues, he corrected them immediately. We would definitely stay there again.
Robert2016-10-26T00:00:00ZAmazing location and very accurate to the description and pictures! Had a great time and stay, despite a few small problems that were handled by our host Luke. Would recommend this space to anyone as well as the restaurant Colonie down the street which was ridiculous. If you're thinking on it, just do it and stay.

I had a wonderful stay during the past few months at Andrew's and Daniel's place. Brooklyn Heights is the perfect location! Especially if you spend your entire days in Manhattan it's good to live in a more quiet area. All it takes is a 5-minute walk to the beautiful waterfront, a 1-minute walk to the subway station and everything you need is just around the corner. The apartment looks exactly as in the pictures; it's very clean and the room has plenty of storage. Daniel and Andrew have been very helpful throughout the entire time and they're always up for a chat. Max is a really sweet cat and I'll really miss hanging out with him as well. Thanks again for the great time with you! You're really lucky to live in such a beautiful area. I'd definitely choose the same apartment for my next time stay in New York and recommend it to everyone else.
Stephanie2015-07-10T00:00:00ZAs a First time Airbnb user, I was a bit nervous. I went to NYC by myself for a week and stayed with Andrew and Daniel. I cannot recommend staying here highly enough. The Apartment: True to the pictures, it was very clean and very organized. Everything was functional and all essential items were provided. I didn't cook at all while there (I was in NY, of course I was going to try the food the city has to offer) but nonetheless the kitchen is well kept. The room was perfect for me. It was a very good size, the bed was wonderful, and the desk and chair were very handy for my writing sessions. It was really nice that the apartment was nice and warm even while it was an average of 20F outside, and there was hot running water in the shower. The guys have a great set of board games (I will have to look into purchasing Twilight Struggle) and the wall art is fantastic (the paintings in the living room are Drew's creations). The Location: You seriously can't beat it. As I mentioned, I was by myself for a week and I felt very safe even coming home at night (as I told the guys, I never felt like I was gonna be murdered at every corner, haha!). You cross one street and you're at the A & C station, which I used on a daily basis. About 3 blocks down and you have the Promenade and the Brooklyn Bridge and a ton of fantastic restaurants there. There's also a little shop called Cranberry's right down stairs where I got some really good breakfast sandwiches a few mornings and there's an Italian restaurant about ten steps away from the front door named Bevacco which was nice also. Location was perfect. The Hosts: Drew and Daniel are both super welcoming guys. I met Daniel first and he was very accommodating to my (twice) delayed flight, taking me in at 3:30am. Can't thank him enough for that! Even at that terrible time to check in, he still gave me a quick tour of the apartment and made me feel like an old friend. I met Drew the following evening and he was just as welcoming and accommodating. They both were very respectful and offered as much privacy as I wanted. Thankfully I got to speak with them both on more than one occasion and got a sense of who they are. Very fun, very respectful guys. Daniel was especially helpful in answering any questions I had about the apartment, about the city, and I was thankful for that. No offense guys, but probably my favorite host was Max. Max is such an amazing cat. I have pretty insane cat allergies but I was absolutely fine around him, and even when he slept by my side (Seriously, he is the cutest). If it's available, stay here. Thanks again guys!
Jason 2015-02-25T00:00:00ZBrilliant, couldn't be topped.
Jan2016-11-16T00:00:00ZA great place to stay in the city! Just a few steps across the street and you're at the train right into Manhattan. And there are a bunch of really cool restaurants right down the street. Location really couldn't be beat! Also, Drew was very flexible with our check-in as we were about 4 hours later than expected. Much appreciated!!
Jenna2016-12-09T00:00:00ZDrew's place is perfect for a short or longer-term stay. I was only there for a night, but he and his roommate (and the cat!) made me feel very welcome. The location is enviable—very close to many public transportation options and a short walk to one of the best views of Manhattan. The apartment was immaculately clean and the room is more spacious than expected.
Calvin2016-10-30T00:00:00ZAndrew and Daniel were excellent hosts. The room was clean, and the experience was seamless. They did an amazing job of making me feel at home while still respecting my privacy and schedule. I felt comfortable and appreciated the thought they put into making my stay a pleasant one.
Desmond2015-10-24T00:00:00ZBeautiful room in a good location - the ACE subways weren't running on the weekend, but was still easy to get to the city on the alternate lines. Absolutely adorable kitty. Clean place. 10/10 would stay again.
Johanan2016-04-07T00:00:00ZAndrew and Daniel were great hosts. The location is perfect! Good food on the first floor of that building. Some low key nice bars in the area. The metro is with in feet away. Super easy to get around the city from Andrews place. It's a great stay.

A really lovely, clean and comfortable apartment that is perfect for vacation! Stephen is a very friendly gentleman. The neighborhood is quite and the location is close to the subways. This apartment has everything we need and it feels really like home.
Luca2017-01-01T00:00:00ZAnyone considering renting this apartment, after reading the very detailed description by the host, please read my experience: The location is a few steps from all Brooklyn's stylish hussle and bussle where nothing is left to be wished and with the Big Apple just a short subway ride away! Stephen decorated his apartment to a level of elegance and comfort I seldom encounter on my many trips! His attention in offering the best to his guests starts with the selection of furniture and goes to details as soft bed linens and bathroom dressings. And a top notch kitchen with all one can wish for and more! I came to celebrate Christmas with my daughter who lives in Brooklyn for many years and who also was impressed with his impeccable place. Stephen surprised me with lovely Christmas basket of delightful goodies! On my next trip back to Brooklyn ( usually every 45 days), I'll make sure to check availability at his place before any place else. ( and I know I'll be competing with the reader!) Patricia Corbett

I thought Ken's place was in a great location because its just a walk away from the Brooklyn Bridge and close to plenty of restaurants/stores for everyone's wants/needs. Its also located to plenty of public transportation so that made travel easier. As for the place itself, it was very relaxed and the neighborhood was peaceful at night. I also enjoyed the ambient lighting that was setup throughout the bedroom and the rugs were very nice to look forward to after walking all day, including the bed of course. Highly recommend and would go rent again if I plan another trip to New York.
Karina2017-03-27T00:00:00ZI had a great stay at Kenneth's place. It was comfortable, nicely furnished with warm lamps and great antique furniture. The apartment was also wonderfully clean and tidy. Kenneth was a great host, and he even went out of his way to run a few errands to enhance my stay before I settled in. Highly recommended.
Eric2017-02-26T00:00:00ZKens' place was serene and nicely appointed. A respite for our NYC tourist blast of sights. Especially appreciated direction to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade just 3 blocks west of his home. We walked the bridge at dusk one night and took the R line to Battery Park the next day to catch ferries to Statue. The Brooklyn Museum had excellent exhibits. World class. Ken was out of town, but left us good directives to local groceries and restaurants. I will check and see if his place is available next time I am in the area. Lori
Martin2017-05-01T00:00:00ZKen's home was perfect for our mini excursion and felt relaxed and zen during our stay! Ken had everything we needed and helped us answer any questions we had about the neighborhood and offered suggestions to have a great meal!
Ling2017-04-02T00:00:00ZGreat spot...
Antoinette2017-04-10T00:00:00ZKenneth was such a thoughtful and kind host. He was very responsive in coordinating and met me at his place for a quick tour before leaving me with some great neighborhood suggestions. His place was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go but was also quiet and peaceful for our low key weekend. It was a perfect home-base for our Brooklyn weekend getaway!
Hannah2017-02-19T00:00:00ZThe apartment is located in a very nice neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, where you can find multiple subway stations, local supermarkets /shops, and the restaurants. The apartment was clean, good size for a couple, and decorated nicely in a Bohemian style. If you are looking for a stay like living in Brooklyn rather than touristy experience, this would be a perfect place. Ken was a very nice host as well, communication was very smooth and all the instructions were pretty clear.
Aya2017-05-14T00:00:00ZKen is an amazing host: intelligent, easy-going, and easy to reach. The apartment is perfectly located right at the Brooklyn Bridge, and a few subway stops away from the heart of Manhattan; subway entrance is only a block away. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and utterly authentic. The area around the house is full of anything we needed. Thank you, Ken — we had an amazing stay at your place!

Shaq2015-08-13T00:00:00ZNice place and decent person, but was a little hard to get a hold of
ari2015-05-05T00:00:00ZMichael was great with communication and quick to respond. It was so easy and convenient to "check in" and "check out." The place is in a great location. The place was neat and was everything the listing said. It was a good experience.
Joe2015-04-26T00:00:00ZThe accommodation is perfect ....great location with easy access to transport, restaurants, bars and local attractions. This place is great if you just want a place to wash and sleep. It is very dark with no views of anything and the accommodation is very basic. Be fit....2 flights of stairs! The place is in need of DIY but perfect location. It really suited our needs and Michael and the manager Andrew were great (nothing was a problem). If you just need a bed for a few nights this is perfect.
Jess2017-05-13T00:00:00ZDon't rent. Had to wait 25 minutes to get into apartment. Apartment is tiny, with two windows that face a brick wall less then 2 feet away. Cupboards, bathroom, kitchen, walls... DIRTY. Wi-fi did not work, as the Network was not available nor recognized. Michael, who offered the apartment was no help, and was dismissive. Didn't know password or network name. Not clear on box. Found infor packet behind fridge on dirty shelf, and network was not recognized. The only redeeming parts of the place were sheets and bed. Location was fine. Would have cancelled after immediately arriving but would have been a hassle. Would have gladly spent 3x the amount on another place, had I known. The picture of the place is misleading. Should be priced at $50-75 tops+(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
Garratt2015-06-18T00:00:00ZCockroaches! Rundown! I would never ever book this apartment again. Except of location and quick respond of Michael there is nothing positive. The apartment has two windows with view of brick walls (so near that you can touch them), so there is no daylight. There are no dishes (only 2 glasses and 2 cups) no kitchen utensils...nothing. Light in bathroom is nearly coming down and a big fat coackroach is waiting there for you. The apartment need to be renovated! The A/C is so loud that you couldn't sleep. And Wifi did not work (it didn't come up). Michael is available at all times, but saying sth,but does (URL HIDDEN) it is a piece of impudence to require so much money for this sh...apartment. Bed sheets are dirty. We paid over $500 for 4 nights...unbelievable! Don't book it!

My stay with Melisa was fantastic!! The apartment was in a great location, and my room was very spacious. The view from my bedroom was incredible! There was a highway right outside the building, but it really did not disturb my sleep or daily routine. There was a laundry place right by the building, which was incredibly convenient. I would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend that others stay here as well.
Josh2016-12-13T00:00:00ZSimple apartment, close to the Brooklyn Heights Promenad. Great view of the Manhattan Skyline from the building's staircase. The host Melissa responded very quickly to messages and was very helpful with directions. Be aware of that large motorway bridge passes by the apartment and causes a lot of noise. So you might need to bring earplugs and a sleeping mask, the bedroom window had no curtain, in order to sleep.
Mikaela2017-04-28T00:00:00ZStaying with Melissa was a 5 star experience all around. The area is lively and super close to downtown Manhattan. The apartment was clean and stocked with anything you would need. Melissa was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANY GUEST!!!!
Einass2016-11-17T00:00:00ZAs people who have never stayed in an AirBnB before, my best friend and I were interested in how the process worked. Melissa was an awesome host, and the apartment itself was incredible! I instantly fell in love with the mix of hip and family-friendly of the neighborhood, as well as the beauty of the actual apartment buildings surrounding the area. The view from the bedroom of the apartment was incredible and definitely would have been photo worthy had we not picked such a foggy day for our visit. There were snacks and beverages waiting for us in the room, as well as extra blankets and pillows. This is a perfect place for someone who is looking for a place that is surrounded by many different restaurants and shops, as well as a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the city. The location is perfect and easy to access whether by the subway or just taking a Lyft. Very accessible and would definitely come back again!
Stephanie2017-01-22T00:00:00ZWe had a great time in New York and at melissas. The contact with her was easy and very nice. She helps you with everything. The room is ok and it takes only 5 minutes to walk to borough Hall Station we're you can reach nearly every metrostation. We would stay there again
Benedikt2016-12-27T00:00:00ZMixed review. Location is amazing, no question. Neighbourhood and view - stunning. Ease of travel and location to cafes and groceries, perfect. Depending on your requirements, this may/ may-not be the correct place to stay. If you are a single and merely require a place to sleep, its a great wee stay. We were a couple, in NYC for 8 days which made some aspects a more difficult. Bed: Only a single bed. Not suitable for two adults. If you are a couple, be aware, one will be sleeping on an airbed. Noise: Expressway directly outside your window. This is LOUD and will require some getting used to. Heightened if it is windy. Old building and windows that have a steady breeze when shut. Bathroom & kitchen are sufficient. Will be an excellent room/stay with a few tweaks.
Kelly2016-11-28T00:00:00ZMelissa was very quick with responding to us prior to and during our trip. Her apartment is in a nice and safe neighborhood of Brooklyn, and the view of Manhattan is amazing. Would recommend to anyone!
Austin2017-03-18T00:00:00ZMelissa's apartment has a funny layout and it is right by the freeway. It is also in an older building that I found unique and enticing. Melissa gave us directions over the phone as we walked to her place and let us in at 12:30 at night without complaint. It was a totally workable place to stay for a exceedingly reasonable price. It is a 10 minute walk from the subway station. It took 25 minutes on the subway to get to Manhattan. There were also some time restaurants within walking distance of her place. It is in a nice residential neighborhood. On weekday mornings we shared the side walker with parents and child going to meet the school bus. For those who want to spend money doing things in the city and not on a fancy hotel room, this is the perfect option.

I enjoyed my stay at Michael's place. He was traveling during my stay so I had the whole house myself. Location is great. I loved the feeling of its neighborhood, quiet, relaxed, safe with many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. It's next to Clark Street metro station so very convenient to go to Manhattan. Michael's place is not fancy but definitely homey, cozy, and clean. Michael was nice. I didn't see him much as he needed to travel, he still managed to text me some restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations. Overall it's a good experience of Brooklyn downtown.
Kenneth2015-09-28T00:00:00ZMicheal was the best host we have had in our experiences of airbnb. Very accommodating, provided great suggestions on things to do and the place is in an amazing location.

Ivonne2014-06-19T00:00:00ZWe enjoyed our stay very much. The neighborhood is perfect. Close to stores, restaurants, and the beautiful promenade with gorgeous views of Manhattan. Michael's apartment is spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. Best sleep I've had in years. Michael is a wonderful host. He is extremely friendly, very quiet, and unbelievably accommodating. I booked the room at the last minute, giving him no prep time. I called him at work the first day of my trip because I thought I had left my keys in the room and locked myself out. He left his job at a law firm in Manhattan immediately and was there to let us in in less than 30 minutes. Turned out my keys were not in the room. I had left them somewhere else. Michael never showed a hint of exasperation, which I think is remarkable. Thank you Michael for such a nice first experience.

Me, Roberta e Lorenzo (15yo) stayed @ Mario's apartment one week. Mario is a great host, welcoming you at arrival and Always willing to share good advice for living NYC... the room is perfect, warm spacious and clean. The neighborhood is beautiful, all you need in walking distance, R train stops just around the corner... and walking back at night on the Promenade is th(URL HIDDEN)show... Great Mario thank you Roberto, Roberta & Lorenzo
Roberto2014-12-11T00:00:00ZVery nice flat and location. Definitely recommend it!
Agnes2016-06-06T00:00:00ZWe had a wonderful time staying at Mario's place. Our room and the entire apartment were very charming, comfortable and clean. Mario was an incredible host; making coffee and tea for us and showing us around the neighborhood. The neighborhood, Brooklyn Heights, is very conveniently located and has some nice restaurants and shops, as well as an amazing view of downtown Manhattan. All in all we would say this is the perfect place to stay if you are in NY. We would go back anytime.
Rahel2014-09-29T00:00:00ZMario is an excellent host. We rented his space for a month for our parents to stay in around the time of the birth of our second child because it is close to our own apartment. (2 separate "shifts"). He was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. I did not stay there myself, but both sets of parents reported being happy to stay there. It's quiet, since the room is in the back of the building away from the street, though you can feel the R train go by. Thankfully it's not one of the busier subway lines. :-) Both sets of parents said they'd be happy to stay there again.
Rebecca2015-02-02T00:00:00ZMario was a superb host and his place is very charming and cozy. The best nights sleep! I couldn't speak more highly about Mario as he really cares about his guests. Thank you Mario!
Ally2017-03-25T00:00:00ZGreeted us when we arrived even tho we were more than 5-hrs late due to missed late. Offered tour of the neighborhood and gave us tour of the apt.
William2015-12-24T00:00:00ZMario is the most gracious host. He was waiting for us when we arrived and even walked with us through his lovely neighborhood, showing us his favorite places. Mario's apartment is cozy and welcoming, and the bedroom we rented is quite large. It's exactly as pictured. Super quiet too, yet not dark. We LOVED his place and have already booked a return. Thank you Mario for everything. Karen and Allen
Karen2016-01-31T00:00:00ZThis was my first ever Air BNB experience and it will be a tough act to follow. Not only was the room exactly as described, but its location was impossible to beat, walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge, the East River Ferry, the subway, and Dumbo, with incredible views of Manhattan from the Brooklyn Bridge park. If you love photography like I do it will make you swoon! The neighbourhood was cute, friendly and safe, with Mario's place right in the middle of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, and the most incredible market full of fresh produce and grocery items. Mario himself was a total treasure. He took the time to walk me around his neighbourhood to get me acquainted, showing me the beautiful historic buildings and charming tree lined streets. He was so helpful and informative. Travelling on my own I was not sure what to expect but he was so sweet, and if you wanted to chat and hang out he was up for it, but also gave you plenty of space if you just wanted to chill out. I could easily go back and stay there for much longer next time, with my husband and son, knowing now what a perfect place this is. You couldn't really do better if you want a really well priced base from which to explore Brooklyn and Manhattan. I'd give 10 stars if I could!
