“Love the atmosphere of Czech bars in art-nouveau and functionalism era from the beginning of the 20th century. Love sitting on the bar and asking the barmen directly what kind of flavor do I want to taste in my drink tonight and they can do it exactly how I wanted it to taste!”

“Best for beer time! "Na stojáka" means "standing only in Czech. They have no chairs here. People usually sit on the kerb of the pavement at Jakob's square. Do the same, drink your beer and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the square. Maybe you will be lucky and there will be some exhibition or live music. Great choice of small and medium breweries.”

Cafe
“Good late night bar offering coctails or beer. It's typical after a certain hour for Czech bars to only serve penaka (a shot). This place will is good because it is lively and also sells beer all night. Feels slightly less pretentious then other bars owned by the same company. Overpriced. No standing at the bar allowed.”

“Jakubské náměstí (Jakub's square) is a great place to spend outside on a summer eveing. Restaurace Jakoby is on the square and offers Czech beers and local wine. Drinks can be bought inside and taken out. The bar is overpriced and feels ceremonious.”
