The Snug is our bright and comfortable studio apartment situated above our garage in the beautiful village of Brigstock. The studio is separate from our property, you will have a key and can come and go as you please. The Snug is set in a cul-de-sac and is in a quiet location with privacy and parking. The property has a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom and a comfortable King sized bed. Sheets and towels are provided along with tea and coffee making facilities, TV, Netflix and wifi.
  • Fantastic place. Stylish, cosy and comfortable. Central heating worked well, great shower, Netflix, WiFi was good, off road parking. In a nice village with a Co-op and two pubs. Richard was very friendly and helpful. Cannot fault the place in any way, very highly recommended.

    Self-contained cottage comprising Shower Room, fitted kitchen, lounge, and attic Style bedroom. The Gable End overlooks the courtyard garden, and sitting out area with bistro table and chairs.
    The Gable End is a self contained Annexe attached to our 17th century home. A shower room, with complimentary toiletries, and fully fitted kitchen are located on the ground floor, where you will also find a cosy living space with TV, sofa bed, recliner chair and space for dining. An open staircase leads to a light and airy attic bedroom with King size bed. The room is well equipped with hanging and drawer space for your clothes, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. All bedlinen and towels are provided, as well as free wifi. There is an extra charge if extra bed linen is needed when only 2 people are staying.
    We are situated in the heart of the village of Brigstock, surrounded by the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. We have a pub, which doesn’t yet serve food but we are hopeful, and a mini supermarket and country park on our doorstep. Nearby you will find some beautiful Stately homes including Burghley House, Boughton House, and Rockingham Castle. We are close to the historic towns of Stamford and Oundle and Adrenaline Alley is about 5 miles away.

We found everything we needed in the house and enjoyed our 2 days here. The village is really cute, need a car, and super convenient with the co-op just 2 mins away. Definitely recommend.

    1 room available in a detached 4 bedroom house in a very well situated village, close to the A14 and a 10 min drive from Rushden, Kettering and Wellingborough. The house is in a quiet location with stunning views of open countryside and river access. There is a lively pub in the village which serves hot food (not on Mondays). There is off street parking at the house. A dog and two cats also in residence.
    A lovely light and airy room with beautiful views. Coffee and tea making facilities in room.
    The village is close to the A14 and 10 mins from Rushden, Kettering and Wellingborough, 15 mins from Corby.

The room was fine with a lovely comfortable bed in a beautiful location and free access to the lounge and kitchen as needed. Considering there are 4 other people in the house, it is remarkably clean & organised. . The room itself is large with a comfortable bed and quality furniture. I felt very much at home here. Cleaning materials are provided too. Can highly recommend Richards place to travellers who are looking for value plus great facilities. Would 100% stay here again.

There is access (shared with another room on Airbnb) to a bathroom, including a bath/shower with towels provided. Use of the kitchen is offered along with the adjoining dining area which includes a Freeview TV and sofa. This area is specifically for guests. Driveway parking in front of the property is also available.

    Beautifully restored stone barn in a lovely Northamptonshire village. Orlingbury is centrally located, close to Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden and Northampton. The Barn is in the grounds of our cottage and has been renovated to a very high standard, retaining it's beautiful beams and restored with oak flooring, marble work surfaces, Fired Earth bathroom, White Company bedding, under floor heating and industrial chrome lighting. There is a pub in the village and lovely walks.
    The Barn has been beautifully restored to a high standard. Set in the grounds of our lovely 17th century cottage, it has an oak door entrance and patio doors opening to a flag stoned patio area with table and chairs. There is a large living room area with sofas, TV and a wood burning stove. The kitchen/diner has a Mercury cooker, marble work tops and a pine table and chairs. There is a lovely Fired Earth bathroom and a bedroom with a White Company double bed, oak bed side tables and a vintage mirrored wardrobe. The property is lovely and quiet with lovely local walks and a nice pub.
    Orlingbury is a very sought after Northamptonshire village with a central village green. I'm a keen runner and cyclist and am happy to take or guide guests on local trail runs and cycle routes.

The Little Barn, Gretton is a recently refurbished barn conversion in a farm setting within 7 acres of the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside. With space to sleep up to 5 adults (one on folding bed). The property is within easy reach of a host of local beauty spots .
    The Little Barn is a beautiful building crafted from local stone, in an isolated farm setting and decorated in a modern, cosy style. The space consists of a roomy open plan lounge dining area with high ceilings that has a super comfy sofa and armchairs , window seats and a television with full sky tv package. As well as central heating there is also a log burner to help you to unwind after an exciting day exploring the local area or after a visit to our local pub 3 miles away (they do a cracking roast). The lounge also has a murphy bed behind the t.v wall which has two single beds within it that is easily folded away during the day for the extra space if needed. An additional folding bed can be added to this room too. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster , quality tablewear and pans . It has everything you need to create whatever culinary delights you wish. We supply tea bags, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, salt, pepper and cleaning products. The main bathroom is also downstairs and includes a rainwater shower, toilet and basin ,high end shampoo, conditioner and shower gel . Upstairs you will find a calm and comfortable double bedroom with an en suite toilet and sink. The room is set in to the open plan loft space giving it an extra special something and fantastic views out over the fields. There is just enough space to put an extra folding bed in here or you may bring your own travel cot if you have an infant. At night the farm is incredibly quiet and we often get visited by various forms of the local wildlife including deer, owls, badgers and rabbits. Our base price is for up to 4 guests. If there a 5 of you we will provide a folding bed with linen and towels for an extra £10 per night. There is one shower and a toilet downstairs and a further toilet upstairs. For guests competing in the local equestrian events at Rockingham Castle, we have ample space to park a horse box and grazing may be available. The Barn is joined to our main house but is completely private. It has it's own access with a key in a key safe. Note: For the fire we will provide complimentary fuel for guests to light a fire on the first day of their stay, further fuel can be purchased for £5. Please request this when booking or message us when you are staying here. There will be an additional charge of £10 per night if your booking includes pets (up to 2 dogs)
    The Little Barn is just under 2 miles from the lovely village of Gretton which has a local coffee shop and 2 pubs, both of which offer delicious meals and a range of drinks. It's also only about 3 miles to the outskirts of Corby where you will find a shopping park that includes a large Asda and a Marks and Spencer’s food hall. In the main town are your usual shops and amenities such as Cinema, leisure centre, theatre and restaurants. In terms of areas of interest we are close to a whole range of picturesque villages and towns including the following: Oakham - the county town of Rutland Uppingham - a lovely country market town with great selection of privately owned shops, especially antiques if that's your thing. Market on Fridays. Rockingham - we recommend a trip to the castle, the view from the terrace is beautiful. Burleigh house, a magnificent stately home with beautiful grounds and home to the famous horse trials. Fineshade Wood - a great local woodland with walks of a variety of difficulty levels and a couple of nice play areas for the children. Rutland Water - a fab day out including lovely walks, watersports and even a waterside restaurant. Corby Olympic swimming pool- many important events are held here. Adrenaline Alley skate park.

    A c16th Century Thatch property in a village locations and even having a priest hole from the history of England. The house still has its rustic charm but is modernised in areas such as Bathrooms and Kitchen. There is ample garden space to the front and also the rear of the property.
    A Thatch property with large open fireplaces tucked away behind a treeline garden giving privcy and quietness. The house has nearly 4000 sq ft of space providing ample room for most people, with a large hallway, dinning room, living room, kitchen qnd utility room and a drawing room on the ground floor and 5 bedroom with 2 ensuites and a main bathroom. The house has the old rustic charm but modem finishing to the kitchens and bathrooms.
    Finedon is a small village just 2 miles away from Wellingborough station which takes you into St Pancras. Surrounded by countryside it is a quiet village with many areas to have a relaxing evening walk. Finedon has typical village pubs, a nice Italian and Indian restaurant, village greens and the usual takeaway places (fish and chips, Pizza and burger places) and a coop. Wellingborough which is 2 miles away is a bigger Town with more shope, restaurants and nightlife.

    Private, free-standing, one-bedroom guesthouse in garden of a Georgian house located in a lovely village close to all amenities and good transport links. The stone-built guesthouse is on one floor with a large open-plan living space with kitchenette, small toilet and bathroom, and double bedroom. Sleeps 3 people including sofa-bed in main living area. The guesthouse has its own front door, accessed through the garden of the main family house. Dogs welcome by prior arrangement. No extra fee.
    Even though the guesthouse is very private it is part of our family home so expect to see us from time to time, especially in the garden. You will have access through the garden and a small private patio, but not use of main garden. The guesthouse is 10 metres from the main house. The kitchenette has a sink, two induction hobs, toaster and a microwave but no oven. Good for snacks but not for a full on meal. We supply tea, coffee, sugar and cooking basics like salt, pepper and oil. Milk, butter and small loaf of bread included. Log burning stove with free use of log store/coal in garage (fair use policy). TV with Amazon Fire Stick and DVD player. We welcome dogs by prior arrangement, with no extra charge (unless something gets damaged in which case we would agree a fee with you). Parking is free on the road outside the property.
    Isham is a pretty village, our house is located opposite a church and there is a village pub, also serving food, a few minutes walk down the road. There is no village shop but supermarkets, restaurants and cinema are all within 5 minutes drive.

The property is suitable for business travellers with it's excellent road links and dedicated workspace/study, families visiting the area or people in-between moving house and waiting for the final pieces of the jigsaw to fall into place. I welcome families with infants, but please be aware I do not have any stair gates and there are 2 sets of stairs. Also, there is no cot in the premises, but I've had plenty of families bring their own travel cots. The kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils, the lounge has a vertical fan, a digital/smart HD TV, with Amazon Prime, Netflix, You Tube etc plus an additional Apple TV box. The master bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobes, a vertical fan, en-suite and blackout blinds in the en-suite and bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a single bed with a pull out bed underneath on castors (already fully made up with bed sheets etc) it just needs to be pulled out when you need it and pushed back in when not in use. There is also a built in wardrobe in this bedroom plus a blackout Velux blind. The 3rd bedroom has been converted into a self contained workplace/study with 2 large LCD monitors, wireless printer/scaner, shredder, coffee machine and small fridge. The property is protected by CCTV for both our safety and peace of mind. *** Strictly no smoking through the property ***
    The property is within walking distance of the old market town Higham Ferrers, Stanwick Lakes and the Rushden Lakes Development with various shopping and entertainment complexes. Within a short drive there are attractions such as Silverstone race track, Santa Pod raceway, Billing Aquadrome, Wicksteed Park, Stoke Bruerne Canal & Rockingham Castle. Other nearby towns include Northampton, Wollaston, Mawsley, Corby, Earls Barton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Bedford and Huntingdon. Road links are very good with easy access to the A14, M1, M6 and A1 all within 20 minutes.

    My house is in a lovely private position in a secluded cul-de-sac and not overlooked at either the front or the back. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the local park, just over 5 mins to the nearest public house with both the train station and town 10-15 mins walk away. Access to the A14 or the A45 is 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic and time of day.

Downstairs is the lounge/dining room. Behind the tall bookcase is a small cloakroom. The kitchen is entered through the French doors. The garden leads on from the kitchen French doors. The garden is bathed in sunshine much of the day (weather permitting of course) and an ideal place for walking around or sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee.
    My home is located in Rushden, England, United Kingdom I love my little leafy cul-de-sac. It's nice and quiet. There are some lovely nature parks and walks to enjoy. Rushden town is small but has everything you could want. Beautiful little pubs in surrounding villages. Rushden Lakes Silverstone race track Santa pod Karting Stanwick Lakes are all within half hour drive. Rushden Lakes development opened 2017, is a beautiful nature reserve and retail and leisure park which is only a short walk away. Here you will find several great restaurants, cinema under development, cycling paths, adventure playground, canoeing as well as House of Fraser and other retail shops. And if all that sounds too much fun, you could sip on a coffee at one of the cafes overlooking the lakes.

It is a cosy well laid out room for your needs with a very welcoming lovely comfortable bed to climb into at the end of a busy day...A very clean, modern bathroom and towels provided for your stay. The area is very quiet at night and if I hadn't had to get up at 7.00 most days for school runs i would have taken advantage of her lovely kitchen and lounge hence I wasn't getting in til 10pm most evenings but didn't feel uncomfortable sneaking in.     Modern clean flat near Kettering town centre with lots of parking for work vans. Bedroom sleeps two single beds and lounge has luxury IKEA king sized sofa bed with mattress topper. Very comfortable. Large TV in lounge. Towels, linen, tea, coffee, breakfast included. Near town centre. I' ve got the flat next door if you want to combine accommodate for 4/6 guests. It's 1.2 miles away from the hospital, Kettering's biggest employer.
    We have two flats at this location so you may be allocated either one. They are have a similar layout and slightly different furniture.
    The town is a short walk away. Salisbury's is 10 mins away. Corner shops just up Wood Street Hospital close by. The flats look slightly different than the front picture. The picture is the view. This is only ascetics and won't affect the quality of your stay.

    Nice airy room. New build property. Very clean house. Wardrobes and drawers available. Close to local shops and we also have local Sainsbury's. Great local restaurants which all have good reviews, you should try Khushboo Indian restaurant which has amazing food and they also have an upstairs lounge bar which you can use before you eat. Easy access to A6, A509, A14 and A45. Kettering town centre is only several minutes by car and you can catch buses locally very easy.
    Single bed, wardrobes, drawers, remote light switch, bath towels provided and extra bed linen.
    Newly built property. The neighbourhood is very modern. There are local shops nearby by walking distance and the town centre is about several mins away. Lots of things to do locally.

Rutland Water is 15 minutes away and offers fantastic cycling and sailing. Magnificent Burghley House is 15 minutes away. Fine dining can be found at Hamblelton Hall and The George in Stamford and there are plenty of fab local pubs around, including the Queens Head in Bulwick which is only 5 minutes away.

Great modern bathroom (again spotlessly clean), super comfy bed, loads of TV channels, modern kitchen well equipped and small outside courtyard space - GREAT wifi!   • We enjoyed two nights here over New Year and it was exactly what we wanted - a cosy cottage in a tiny village (we can recommend the pub for a quiet drink) surrounded by beautiful fields and woods (Fineshade Woods was lovely on New Years Day). Rebecca is the perfect host - the cottage was neat and tidy, the bed was really comfortable and she even left us breakfast items as well as a bottle of fizz.     Modern house, 3 years old with comfy interior, king size bed and everything you could need for a pleasant stay whether working away, wanting a quiet retreat, or just passing. 5 mins from the A14 or A6, my place provides good access to Northampton, Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester. and Bedford. The beautiful town of Finedon itself boasts the alleged 3rd oldest pub in the country with its gorgeous food and old English decor. Shops, park, and takeaways 5 mins walk.
    Tidy, spacious, comfortable, quiet space. Please leave things as you find them!

    Studio-style spacious design The Annexe makes the most of the private space being both light & airy yet fully centrally heated making it warm and cosy at all times. The Annexe contains a fully fitted kitchenette allowing our guests to be self sufficient. A shower room and living/bedroom area completes the accommodation. The Annexe overlooks our south-facing garden accessed through its own french windows. Off road parking is available. Close proximity to the major roads of A14, A45 & A6
    Completely private from the main house, the Annexe was built in 2017 as an extension to our lovely, traditional 1930’s Semi. The property benefits from its large, third of an acre garden with 2 ponds, one of which contains koi but both surrounded by a variety of plants from banana trees to more traditional perennials. The garden also includes beds & borders, a wild flower & grasses area at the back (which bees & damselflies love), not forgetting our walnut tree, where in the Autumn, our guests can pick some walnuts (if of course the squirrels do not get to them first!). Hidden in the large trees at the rear right hand side of the garden you might even see the bats flying at dusk for their nightly feed.  Guests are invited to share the garden and enjoy the peace and solitude. A large terrace in front of the French windows & twin garden seat offers plenty of space for the guests to just enjoy the atmosphere. The studio-style Annexe features a living and sleeping area divided by open shelving with an overhead glass roof lantern allowing light to pass through into the living quarters giving a cosy feel as you look up to see the sky above you. A separate shower room and a kitchenette complete the guest accommodation.  The kitchenette offers our guests a stove with oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. All utensils, pots, pans and dishes and everything you would expect in a self-catering facility, and more!
    Although on a main road into this market town, close proximity to main roads (A14, A6 & A45 are all nearby) providing easy travel around the area for drivers. There are numerous bus services with bus stops almost directly outside the property. The locality has fantastic walks and cycling routes some linking the local lake areas of Stanwick & Rushden lakes with the newly opened Rushden Lakes Retail Park providing restaurants and major retailer shopping should you wish to indulge. https://www.rushdenlakes.com/
  • The Annex is the perfect home away from home, from the non-intrusive entrance; to the deluxe shower. It was warm, spacious, and has more than any traveller would ever need. The Annex sleeps two in a very comfortable Kingsized bed but had entertaining space for 4 comfortably. there is a full kitchenette (full-size oven, fridge freezer and a double gas hob) with all the cooking and baking accessories you could ask for. there is plenty of storage (wardrobe, chest, bedside cabinets, Kallax) The Annex is private and is not overlooked by the main house but there is access to the garden, which during the warmer, dryer days would be a great benefit. The Annex is cosy and comfortable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone ( just don't stay there on the days I want to book it again)

  • Jean’s place was warm and welcoming. They were very accommodating, which was super helpful, as my husband is handicapped. He used crutches inside. There was only on step up to get into the Annexe. We did bring a shower chair. The shower was wonderful. We loved the layout of the Annexe. It was very well thought out. There was a ton of personal storage space. The kitchen had everything you could ask for. I highly recommend!! Thanks much Jean for a delightful week!

A previous reviewer mentioned being able to smell cats outdoors, I didn’t notice anything, and, as someone with a severe cat allergy, can confirm that there were no cat related odours in the unit itself.

    Our house is situated up a private lane 2 minutes walk from the local park. Pubs, restaurants and shops are also within easy walking distance.

    Our lovely and cosy home, your Home away from home is in an ideal safe and quiet location, 2 mins drive to the train station, about 5-7 min walk to the town centre with many food outlets, cinema, swimming pool and several gyms if you love working out. It’s location makes it central and therefore a short distance to many places of interest. Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and other convenience places are all about 5-7 minutes drive. For your peace of mind, there is parking for you on our massive driveway.
    Spacious, cosy room in a beautiful smoke free detached house with no pets. We have a driveway parking, House is 3 min walk from town and 2 min drive from corby train station.
    The house is 2 min drive from the train station, 5 min walk to the town centre, few minutes walk to the swimming pool and fitness gyms. Eating places are a few minutes away and supermarkets are 5 minutes drive away.

  • Lovely place to stay. Room is warm and cosy and bed comfortable. Really appreciated being able to use the kitchen and the fab corner bath in the bathroom. There are two adorable friendly dogs, but they are kept out of the way in a separate room so you don’t have to have contact with them unless you want to. Anita is a really welcoming host and I’ll definitely go back if working in the area again.
