A large room downstairs that is private and independent from the main house for you and family. Perfect resting after that long sightseeing day in the beautiful city of Brisbane. Close to supermarket Coles and approximately 3km walk to large shopping centre "Strathpine" & train station or Woollies. Approximately 25km drive to the City of Brisbane, 27km from the Brisbane airport.
We provide you with 1 queen size bed and 2 single beds plus futon/sofa bed comfortable for single person, family of 4 or 5 up to 6 peoples, a small group of friends or couples.
We are located in a friendly suburbia neighbourhood and close to parks for kids to play or just walking and enjoy the beautiful day. There is Bus stops within a 5 minute walk, the Train station is about a 20 minute walk away and a supermarket is just a 10 minute stroll through the park and 8 minute walk to a corner store, pizza shop, bakery, Laundromat.
  • Peter and Helen's place was a lovely spot. It is close to the shops and easy to get to places from. We had family staying only 5 minutes away so it was perfect. They were wonderful host and very friendly, we had everything we needed, the room was lovely and spacious and clean. I would highly recommend their house to anyone wanting I stay in this are of Brisbane!!

    A clean single room within a family home in peaceful quiet area. Perfect to relax after long day sight-seeing around beautiful Brisbane or just want some R & R. Close to Coles & public transport. Approx 25km drive to Brisbane City (40min by train) and 27km to Brisbane airport.
    My home is close to restaurants and Pubs, Train & Bus, local shops-5min walk to Coles, hairdresser, chemist, newsagent, Liquorland. My home is in quiet & peaceful location in suburbia overlooking park with many wildlife. My place is good for adventurers and business travellers. I would appreciate my guest to treat the room like its your own. Smoking is not allowed in the room but you are welcome to smoke outside. We have a family friendly cat, Tommy, who keeps to himself & sleeps all day. I now have 2 rooms available for Airbnb guest. Both king single bed.

    This is a renovated house with AC in a quiet, safe neighbourhood 8 minutes walk from the train station. This listing is for one of two private rooms with modern split system AC units and a queen bedroom suite. The rest of the house is usually shared with only a few adults and has a relaxed atmosphere. Treat the communal spaces as your own. Your pets may come by negotiation and I have a small friendly dog. If there are more than two of you we should be able to negotiate something for them.
    The listing is just for a room. The other areas like the lounge room and TV are yours to share. The kitchen is modern and large and there is a back deck to relax with a beer.
    Quiet Suburban area. Short walk to see horses and small subtropical rainforest creek area. A shopping center is 1km away. This is a good base to see the greater Brisbane and Sunshine Coast area.
  • Dennis was a great host all around, willing to go out of his way to help us for things that didn't even had anything to do with his responsibilities. The place was quiet, there is a spot to park the car and a nice terrace. The location is a little far from the CBD but for us was perfect since we were traveling with our car. If we ever go back to Brisbane, I'll definitely oil here again!

    Our neat and spacious rooms are available for people up to 6, at one time. 10 minute walk to shops, and is an extremely easy location to catch public transport to the city.
    G'day mate! Our clean and neat house is here to welcome guests all year round. Situated in the Warner suburbs, this neighbourhood has a safe and friendly feel to it, with a park just across the road, where you can enjoy a nice summers day, soaking up the heat and utilising the bbq that is provided. Perfect location for enjoying local scenic walks and the sounds of Australian birds in the early hours of the morning and at sundown. We generally work most days, and therefore will leave you to do as you please, providing you with information to work the TV in your own room, or in the rumpus room, use the wi fi and just chill in the pagola. However, with that said, we are always available for you to ask any questions regarding tourist information and advice. In terms of transportation, there is a bus that practically comes outside of our house, that will take you to the nearest train station. From there it is a 40 min train ride to the city. OR if you feel like staying in the area: The bus can take you to the nearest shopping center, 10 min bus ride, where you can shop for clothes, shoes, electronics etc. Our house is located half way between the gold coast and sunshine coast, so if you have a car it is very easy to jump onto the highway and head either north or south. Or if you are wanting to catch public transport it also is easy to get there and back! We do also offer more local sightseeing aswell; Mount Glorious is a beautiful natural hill top that offers cafes, some spectacular forest walks as well as several BBQ areas set in rolling parkland. Quite a remarkable destination that is only 20 minutes from our house.
    My neighbourhood is very family friendly and safe. There are several parks around the area and plenty of walking tracks for you to take a stroll. There are buses very close for those who want to get out of the area for the day. Food places are only a 10 minute walk, depending on how fast you walk.

  • Perfect Host. No other words an describe the Mullins better. Genevieve addressed all queries right from the inquiry very promptly. Was picked from the Airport by Peter. After reaching home was greeted by a very clean welcoming bed with fresh towel & a packet of timtam :-) At the side of the bed were all brochures of things to do in the city & a file with information of activities, dining places & things to do. For breakfast there was bread, coffee, butter, eggs, juices all kept neatly organised in the fridge. They went out of their way to help with information on public transport, activities & even highlighted with different color markers for better understanding ;-) Wish I could stay more or atleast get up early to spend time & talk at length with them :-P The place is easily accessible with the bus stop right across the street with buses running till 7 in the evening & it's around half an hour from the main city. Debbie, Genevieve & Peter are a lovely family. It was the best stay I've ever had & a great experience. Would surely recommend to stay @ Mullins residence to anyone travelling to Brisbane.

  • We arrived pretty late on a weekday evening, but Genevieve and her parents were so kind to stay up to chat with us for awhile and made sure we were all comfortable and settled down. Their place is situated in a nice peaceful neighborhood. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore it.     Petrie Tavern, a cafe, bakery, an IGA and Woolies the supermarket are within walking distance or a short drive. As you leave the house, the Petrie on Pine walk around the river is a 30 min circular walk where Koalas are regularly seen in their natural habitat.

Its so timely that undertoke training in lawnton and I just take a walk to the training center with the morning sunrise and afternoon sunset that would be much appreciated by viewing at the Gordon lookout near the place.   • This is a lovely property presented very nicely. It's very secluded by the river and under the shade of many trees, which did make it cool when we stayed in late autumn. The kitchen and living areas are modern and contain everything you could need, while the three bedrooms and bathroom furthest from the river side are well presented but more old style. The decking out back offered private views over the North Pine River, on the other side from the dog exercise area in Mungarra Reserve. On the whole this was an excellent place to stay with all the facilities you could need for a home away from home.

  • Loved the seclusion and right on the north pine river, caught some crabs even. Even though it seems away from the world its literally 4minutes from shops and rail. Just need a bigger ( electric ?) fry pan for large family and a proper egg flip and serving spoons - ceiling fans in other bedrooms would be good, but overall a great place to stay .

    Our terrific home is close to parks and walking spots, on the north side of Brisbane (30km from the city and less than an hour to the Sunshine Coast). You’ll love it because of the outdoors space, the quiet bush setting (on an acre of garden), quality fittings and furniture, and close proximity to drive to the city or catch the train. We love travel ourselves and really enjoy having people stay. Our Versaille Room is a super choice for singles/couples, and the adjacent room extends for a family!
    Our home is large and modern- built 15 years ago. Its construction keeps warm in winter and cool in the summer. The swimming pool is well used in the summer months when Brisbane can be hot and humid. You will have access to the pool if staying with us in the summer. We offer two bedrooms that can be rented separately or together. The first has a King Sleigh Bed, with freshly laundered pure cotton sheets and comfy duvets and pillows. Fluffy bath towels are also provided. The room has an overhead fan and two opening windows for summer nights. A set of drawers, hanging space, toiletries and magazines to read are provided. The second bedroom has a King Single bed and a double Sofabed. This room also has two windows and a ceiling fan. The room configuration means that if you are a family the two adjacent rooms can accommodate 5 people. Even if you do not use the sofa bed for sleeping it is a great private lounge for you to enjoy during your stay. Your bathroom is dedicated to you and has a good sized shower, bath, basin and there is a separate toilet. Outside the upstairs spaces is a verandah with two chairs- you are welcome to enjoy this. You can park your car on the concrete drive in front of our garage overnight as long as it is moved in the morning about 7am before I go to work. Alternatively you can sleep in and park on the verge of the grass/road at the front of the house. Our street is a cul de sac and is very quiet.
    We enjoy living in a stunning home in a quiet area not too far from the city but still close to the Sunshine Coast beaches. Our dogs love the proximity to the dog park- which is in the Mungarra Reserve just below our house. Cyclists and runners use the park which also has a skatepark, picnic area and a children's playground. Access is via steps at the end of our street. 5 minutes drive away are several lake options for picnics and walks. These are very special places and are just perfect for a walk and a quiet glass of wine by the lake.
  • Every member of this family is so kind. We had a very wonderful and comfortable experience in Maria's home. Because we spent a lot of time visiting every tourist attraction around Brisbane, as a result, we came back to Maria's home very late every evening. Maria still prepared delicious food and tasty tea for us. Furthermore, the bad room is very clean, the bathroom is big and water is warm. Their house located in a perfect place, close to the Mungarra Reserve, you can have a walk on the grass. And it is not far to the Petrie Railway Station. When I visit Brisbane next time, I will still choose Maria's house. Thanks Maria.

    A cabin separate to the main house - your accomodation overlooks koala bushland. Peace and serenity is what you get here, relaxing by the pool. Be sure to close your doors unless you like to share with cats or our very large puppy, and tiny dog!! It's a perfect time to throw some wood on the fire and be sure to bring along some coffee pods that will allow you to use our new Nespresso Coffee machine to make your mornings rosy :)
    This is a peaceful relaxing setting with style to enjoy. Our pets make you feel welcome and you can waste the hours away watching the birds and koalas from your cabin. This cabin is presented immaculately on arrival however please note, to respect your privacy, we clean after your departure and not during your stay unless you make a special request.

    This is the master bedroom with ensuite in Brendale. I am a 52 year old nurse who works shifts. There will be two small dogs on the property but they do not shed hair. The bedroom offers a door with access to the backyard, build in robe, air conditioning and ensuite with toilet, shower and sink. The room is 3.5m X 3.5m and is furnished. The home has wifi and the password will be provided. The bedroom is lockable.
    The kitchen is large a shared space with appliances including washing machine, fridge and crockery. The property has access to a swimming pool and security cameras for added safety. You will have one car park within the remote operated garage. There are also two spaces outside for cars.

    We offer a modern, private and very spacious one-bedroom flatlet under our house with it's own entrance and an outdoor area overlooking our lush garden.
    There is a large master bedroom with comfortable double bed, plenty of wardrobe space, a separate bathroom with shower, a lounge area with pull out sofa-bed and a laundry (shared). The bedroom has an air-conditioner. Tea/Coffee and biscuits are supplied. There is parking off-road on a wide grassy kerb alongside the property.
    We live in a quiet, leafy area, with plenty of birdlife and the occasional koala! Lake Samsonvale is 2km away with picnic areas and nature walks. Warner Village has many food outlets and large supermarkets and is 3km down the road.

The entire bottom level of the dual living space was ours and Sue has made it feel just like home. The location is excellent - lots of bush around and a 10 minute drive to Eatons Hill.
