Cottage in Downtown Boulder
Boulder’s Downtown Cottage; Central yet Secluded.
**Rated as Boulder's best Airbnb by travel writers and guests.** The reason is simple: it's a family run business spanning 3 generations, and over 40 years of local knowledge situated in the heart of Boulder just blocks from the Pearl Street Mall. From the front door it’s a quick trip to Colorado University (CU) Campus, Folsom Field, hiking in Chautauqua and Mt Sanitas, the Boulder Theater, and the many restaurants and bars that make Boulder a year around destination. Get a taste for Colorado life while staying in truly local comfort and style. Just a 2 minute walk from the Pearl St. Mall, the location of the Pine St. Cottage speaks for itself, but that's not all. Originally built in 1910, we recently renovated the space with the goal to rejuvenate and energize all who stay! We wanted to make it comfortable, yet keep the design simple and aesthetically pleasing. Our Cottage will let you feel at peace, yet drive you to explore and experience; it will let you expand your comfort zone, while providing a cozy space to rest and recover. For those summer months we are happy to provide Bike Rentals to our guests! We provide all the basics for you: private parking, a full kitchen, coffee+tea, a bathtub+shower, hairdryer, laundry machines+soap, an ironing board, a hybrid memory foam queen mattress, full HD 4K TV!!+netflix+amazon streaming, Youtube TV, a Playstation 3 for those (very few) rainy days, and Pack and Play for infants! Of course each guest has individual needs and we are happy to meet them. Let yourself unwind and explore life beyond the daily routine! We are here to answer any questions you have, as well as to help make your stay comfortable! We are readily available and will respect everyone's individual needs and space. Located in the heart of boulder, the location simply cannot be beat: walk to world-class dining and cultural experiences at the Pearl St. Mall in downtown Boulder. Don't worry about your car, it will have its own private off-street parking spot, get on your walking shoes and hit the streets! No Car Required!! But a private parking spot is available. We RENT BIKES, just ask for more information! If the Pine St. Cottage is your base camp, you will be within walking distance of all the world class dining and cultural experiences that fill the Pearl St. Mall and downtown Boulder. There is easy access to a number of hiking trails within minutes of the front door. No need for a car with easy access to the Downtown Boulder Bus station and regular buses to Denver, DEN airport, as well as into the mountains to our local ski resort Eldora. We highly recommend utilizing the Boulder Bcycle system for getting around town. The Pine St. Cottage is fully licensed, and operating legally, as authorized by the City of Boulder.

Home in Downtown Boulder
Modern Downtown Boulder Home, Rooftop Deck & Flatiron Views
Take in the view of the Flatirons over a morning coffee on 1 of 3 decks at an airy, light-filled escape. Nestled in a tranquil spot 3 blocks from Pearl Street, this crisp, minimal pad blends tan leather with rugged wood and an Aboriginal paintings. Kitchen/Dining/Living Room: This brand new abode offers an open kitchen, living and dining area with contemporary finishes, stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors throughout. This is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook the yummiest of meals. Afterwards, enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family while sitting around the gas fireplace. Bedrooms: There are two bedrooms on the second level. The Master Suite has its own bathroom, a king size bed and a large closet for storage. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, desk, chair and monitor, making this a perfect spot for those traveling for business. Both bedrooms open onto a deck, overlooking the property. Bathrooms: The first bathroom is on the lower level of the home when you first walk in. It has one sink and walk-in shower, and is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap and clean towels. The second bathroom is part of the master suite on the second level. It has 2 sinks, a walk-in shower and is, of course, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryer and clean towels. Roof Top Deck: This is my favorite part of the home, with an incredible 500 sq. ft. roof top deck with stunning views of the Flatirons Mountains! The patio is bright and sunny during the day, but hang out on the lounge furniture before you hit the town and watch the sun sink behind the mountains. Parking: There is one dedicated parking space in front of my garage that is yours to use. Street parking is also available. I’m always looking forward to hosting great people. Send me an inquiry and we can start discussing some more details from there! I am always available via phone and email and if I am not in town you will have the number of someone who is local incase you run into any issues. This urban oasis is set back away from the street in a quiet area by the creek, yet just a 5-minute walk from Pearl Street, the creek path, and a farmers' market. Restaurants, bars, music venues, parks, and entertainment are all also close by. You are about a 5 minute walk to the bus station which will take you to and from the airport, downtown Denver or other parts of Boulder. You can also use the bike lanes to get around town and everything downtown is just an easy walk. If you are thinking about doing hikes or spending time in the mountains I would highly recommend renting a car.

Your guide to Boulder

Welcome to Boulder

Just 30 minutes from Denver and surrounded by 45,000 acres of protected open space, Boulder is an outdoor lover’s town with urban flair. Located in the Boulder Valley where the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains collide, its geographical mascot is The Flatirons — craggy sandstone formations that tower above the town. The unique makeup of Boulder’s citizenry includes more than 35,000 University of Colorado students, techies plugged into the town’s thriving startup scene, scientists working at three national laboratories, and world-renowned athletes who come here to train at high altitude. They all contribute to the town’s crunchy play-hard culture; this is a place as much known for health food restaurants as it is for a booming brewery scene. Boulder has all the charm and recreational opportunities of a mountain village with the culture of a much larger city.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Boulder

Boulder enjoys roughly 300 days of sunshine a year, and a mild climate thanks to its high altitude. That means even on balmy days, you may be in for a crisp evening. Spring in Boulder is warm and sunny, and Pearl Street is covered in thousands of tulips. Summer is a busy festival season, but also brings the hottest weather, particularly in August. In fall the leaves change color and temperatures dip, but are usually pleasant for hiking. Winter is a peaceful low season, accompanied by moderate snow. Any time you visit you’re likely to find several events going on, celebrating ideas ranging from classical music to yoga. In May, international crowds gather for the hugely popular BOLDERBoulder 10k Road Race.

Top things to do in Boulder

Chautauqua Park

Head to this gorgeous park at the base of the Flatiron Mountains to tromp more than 40 miles of scenic hiking trails and get a little closer to those dramatic rock formations. The grounds are also home to an auditorium that hosts the Colorado Music Festival, which features international artists over six weeks in July and August.

Media Archaeology Lab

Located on the University of Boulder campus, this unique collection of historical devices includes phonograph players, Commodore 64 computers, and other relics of technology’s past. They all work, and visitors are encouraged to get hands-on with the collection. Visits are by appointment only.

Go Tubing

Few activities embody the pace of summer more than lazily bobbing along, toes in the water, sun on your face, and your bum in a tube. You can launch a tubing trip on Boulder Creek where it curves through Eben G. Fine Park, just a short walk from the town’s commercial center, and spend the day floating along. Tubing season is roughly May through June. You can buy or rent tubes in town, as well as schedule a pickup once you’re ready to dry off.
