One bedroom available in beautiful family friendly home on St-Joseph River, located 7 miles away from Notre Dame Stadium (15 minutes drive - Transportation available). The house is in a nice and peaceful neighborhood, with amazing wildlife (deer, birds, squirrels, turtles). It has a direct access to the river with a pier big enough to seat down and enjoy quiet and wonderful time by the river.
  • Lucille is a great host. Her place is very neat and clean. We really appreciated all of her thoughtful touches.

    Bryan2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lucille is an absolutely fantastic hostess. Absolutely beautiful grounds, very nice breakfast offerings, and a very comfortable bed. Bring slippers if you visit in the fall or winter as the lower level is pretty cool. The guest room has a space heater that keeps the room as warm as desired, but I’d wished that I had bright my slippers for the early morning bathroom run.

  • WOW!! What a fabulous place to stay and what a gracious host Lucile is! Her place will exceed your expectations. Lucile’s home is beautiful and spacious. The beds and pillows are really comfortable. There is a walkout where you can sit and enjoy the river view and wildlife. While there, several deer made themselves known and even posed for photos! Upon arrival, we found a surprise welcome basket with bottles water and chocolates and Lucile provided a sumptuous breakfast. We highly recommend Lucile’s place and will definitely stay here again if ever in this area.

  • Lucile 's place was very clean and she is very friendly. Very nice house by the river. We enjoyed our stay at her place.

  • Lucile was a great host and this is a lovely place to stay

    Deanna2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Luciles place was exactly what we expected. It was good value for the money and pretty close to where we wanted to go after the stay. The river which runs just next to the house is beautiful! I would book it again.

  • This is a very nice place in a great location, a short walk from the center of town and near the start of the annual Apple Cider Century bike ride. The room was smallish but comfortable and nicely furnished, with a stylish en-suite bathroom. The entire house was impeccably clean and the common areas were comfortably furnished, with a very large dining table and a huge kitchen. The wraparound front porch is a nice place to relax and read. I will definitely come back.

  • Love loved staying at Ken, Mario, and Ron's place over Labor Day weekend! I was in town for a wedding across the street at Journeyman Distillery, and the location was literally unbeatable. In fact, the bride and groom were jealous!

  • I am so happy I chose to stay at Sycamore Guesthouse Inn! I spontaneously decided to take a weekend trip and I ended up in Three Oaks. This was my first time staying in a B&B of any kind, and I was truly impressed! Ron and Mario were so kind and welcoming, and they made my stay easy and stress free. They also were extremely knowledgeable about the area, and gave me some great tips about local businesses. The inn itself was really clean, quiet, and the bed was so comfy! I will absolutely be back to stay with them again! I am forever a B&B girl now, no more hotels! Thank you for running a wonderful inn!

Sandra and her husband were attentive and thoughtful hosts, and the breakfasts she served were delicious. We very much enjoyed wine and snacks on the patio. Highly recommended!

  • I stayed here for 2 months & Aislin and all her friends were nothing short of amazing. She showed great hospitality & continuously checked in on me during a period when I was just by myself in the house. The house is old, but very homey & only a 10 minute drive to ND. Aislin always made sure I had everything I needed, handled any issues that came about in a timely manner, and was the first person to invite me to any events or give me suggestions of things to do/see. I would without a doubt book again if I ever return to South Bend.

    Tayler2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Super accomadating and sweet!

    Patraic2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Aislin is a great person: She helps more than one ever could expect; her hospitality is just perfect; she is not only perfect for any advice and informations about Notre Dame, but also for interesting conversation - and beyond this, she is an excellent cook. Whenever I come back to Notre Dame, I will choose her - very clean, comfortable and well accessible (esp. also as for the University of Notre Dame) cottage. With best regards, Gregor

    Gregor2018-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • We were so fortunate to have found Aislin's place. It is clean, comfortable and close to campus. I would recommend this without hesitation. Aislin is not only a warm host, she is also an amazing chef, knows South Bend and Notre Dame and how to get where you need to go. You will never meet a nicer person or a more welcoming place to stay than Cajun Cottage.

    Sharon2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Enjoyed my stay very much. Clean, quiet and cozy.

    Jason2017-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed for a football weekend. It was our first time to a Notre Dame game and were looking for a quality stay close to campus. We were not disappointed! Aislin's homey cottage was clean, and cozy. We were very pleased with her hospitality--amazing home cooked breakfasts to fuel up for our days and kind inclusion in a friend's Tailgate before the game. Staying at Cajun Cottage was the smartest move for us and we'd highly recommend her to other guests!

    Karilyn2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed with Aislin because I had a clinical rotation at Memorial Hospital for medical school. She is a wonderful host that will bend over backwards to help you with anything you need. I could not have asked for a better commute as it was about 2 miles away from the hospital and took about 10 minutes to drive there. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay for a Notre Dame football game or if you happen to have a rotation at the hospital.

    Tyler2017-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Aislin is a fantastic host! Staying somewhere new for 2.5 months is made a lot better when you're staying in a great Airbnb. Aislin cooks a lot and there's always plenty to share. She is always willing to pick you up, drop you off, or help with anything you need. I would highly recommend her for short term or long term stays, you won't be disappointed!!

A large corner room overlooking the garden, this romantically rustic, nature-hued room with a king-sized bed and plenty of space to spread out is the perfect sanctuary for the soul.
When you arrive at the Inn it's like your home away from home, but you don't have to do anything but relax. We want our guests to forget about their busy schedules and just enjoy each others company.
The village of Union Pier is very quiet and has some of the best restaurants and cafes in the area. There are two grocery stores and even a bakery and homemade Gelato shop. Take a stroll along Berrien Street public beach with no stairs to walk down, just a sandy slope. Right in the center of town you can rent 12 speed bikes, skooters, or kayaks to use in the area. Right up the street is a coffee shop that serves baked goods, sandwiches, and salads from 7:00am-6:00 PM.

The Grainnie O’Malley is a delightful room historically decorated with a queen size 4-poster bed and charming sitting area in the turret...a cheerful yet elegant space in which to while your time away. The room is named after Grainnie O’Malley, or Grace, who was born in County Mayo in the year 1530, and is known in Irish culture as the “Pirate Queen.” It is said that when she was a little girl, she wanted to accompany her father on one of his trips at sea, but he said she could not because she was a girl. She cut off her hair, donned boy’s clothes, and was known thereafter as Grainnie Mhael, or Grainnie the bald! A woman before her time, she led fleets of ships during battles with the British.
The O'Malley room is in the corner room on the 2nd floor and as such, has a rounded seating area.

The Yeats room is an enchanting, comfortable room with double bed and sitting area by the windows looking out on to the trees and fern-filled side yard. We think he would have found inspiration here. William Butler Yeats was born in Dublin in 1865 and died in 1939. He was a dramatist, prose writer and one of the greatest English language Irish poets of the 20th century. Yeats received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1923. His poem, “The Lake Isle of Innisfree,” inspired the naming of this B & B.
This comfortable room is at the top of the stairs on the second floor. The windows overlook greenery.

The "Ontario Place" is the best of both worlds. Nestled on two acres in Niles, MI. it offers guests a rural getaway while still only being minutes away from shopping and nitelife, the best the area has to offer. Our neighbor has several freindly goats , Alpacas and a dozen or more chickens so you can have farm fresh eggs every morning (and fried chicken if youre fast enough!) If its summer fun you seek, we are only 20 minutes away from the beaches on Lake Michigan. It is Pure Michigan.
the home was built in 1991 that is one of the most well constructed houses you'll ever see . It has central heat and air. The best kept secret is it also has a professional recording studio above that you get to by taking by a small elevator. Famous people have been known stop by occasionally but don't let that worry you, we make sure they have all their shots!
It is a quiet neighborhood with friendly Neighbors and friendly hosts

Two twin beds, a daybed (with additional pull-out bed) and a sumptuous king size bed make this suite a great choice for a family getaway, or the perfect hiding place for just the two of you. A copy of this movie is in every room for your viewing pleasure. Can accommodate up to 6…an additional $25 per person after the first two.

  • We stayed with Barbara after seeing great reviews, and I will just add to the chorus of praise for Barbara. My teenage son and I had a great time, she was so accommodating and nice, and helpful. She had extra ponchos for the rain, drove us to campus, and had the *best* scones! We each had a room upstairs, so had the whole upstairs to ourselves. Darling rooms with snacks, towels, etc. We will definitely stay with her when we go back for a game!

    Joan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time and the hosts were great! Barbara even dropped us off at the game! We had very pleasant conversations and plan to come back next year and get a tour of ND by a local!!

    Tara2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot think of a better place to stay when visiting Notre Dame! Location is fantastic and Barbara is the most thoughtful and generous hostess.

    Megan2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara couldn’t have been a more accommodating and gracious host. I arrived at midnight and she was there to make sure I was welcomed and knew where to go. The room was very spacious and Barbara provided fresh towels, bottled water and snacks. Everything was spotlessly clean. I left at 7:30 the next morning and Barbara had fresh baked scones, yogurt, cereal and fresh fruit available - and great coffee! It was a very brief visit but Barbara made it very special. I highly recommend everyone to stay here!

    Tj2018-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Our friends also stayed with Barbara and Phil and loved it!

    Megan2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Barbara’s place is a wonderful spot to stay for a game or any occasion in South Bend. It’s a short walk or ride to the campus, stadium, or downtown, her personal touch and recommendations were fantastic, and the hospitality was top notch. Simply put, she an amazing host and we’d happily book her room again!

  • This was our first experience staying at a BnB and everything was great! We were the first to arrive of a large family filling up 2 houses and the young ladies that checked us in were so patient and kind, very accommodating to our requests. The houses were perfect for our family needs. This house was right across the street from the Journeyman Distillery where we had a family wedding and walking distance from the main road of restaurants and shops. The living room, kitchen, and porch provided lots of family gathering space which was nice. I would definitely recommend this house to fellow travelers.

  • Ken and Ron were absolutely FANTSASTIC hosts! Their home is very well appointed, right in downtown, and has all the amenities you'd need. Their home tour and orientation of the home and room, was short, sweet, and succinct. The room was immaculate, bed and pillows were soft and cozy, and the bathroom had great space. To top it all off, the morning breakfast was delicious. Definitely coming back next time we are in Three Oaks / New Buffalo area.

We went to the Journeyman Distillery across the street, and had some really good Mediterranean food just about a 10 minute drive from the place. Very reasonably priced too!

  • If you are going to The Journeyman Distillery this is the place to stay. It is directly across the street. The house is beautiful, clean and surprisingly quiet for a 100 year old house. Ron was a great host. This was our first Airbnb experience and my wife and I couldn't be happier.

  • This is a beautifully restored home that perfectly mixes traditional styles with clean, modern accents. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and the bathrooms and showers were modern and classy. All of the common rooms were incredibly comfy and welcoming, and the outdoor patio & verandah areas were gorgeous places to sit and relax! The hosts, Ron and Mario, were super welcoming and I know my mom had a great time chatting with them and learning about the history of the house and its restoration. I would totally recommend a stay here!

  • This is the perfect B&B experience: a beautiful, art-filled historic home, a thorough and efficient check-in, the thoughtful details of the room (e.g., extra outlets everywhere and multiple surfaces to place our belongings), the delicious breakfasts (the maple-glazed sausages were amazing), and the fascinating oral history of the house and the town of Three Oaks. Most of all, the warmth and hospitality of Ron and Ken made for a perfect weekend retreat for my husband and me. And if you enjoy a great massage at a reasonable price, schedule one with Ken once you arrive; you won't regret it. :)

The house is steps from the Journeymen Distillery and town, so we were able to park and enjoy the town while visiting for a weekend. • The Sycamore Guest House is a welcoming, beautifully appointed B&B in the heart of Three Oaks. I had the pleasure of staying in Kenneth, Ron and Mario's guest house in the midst of a big snowstorm, and they could not have been better, more accommodating hosts. Despite the continuously falling snow, they made sure the sidewalks were shoveled, the coffee was all set up for me, etc. Unfortunately, I was in Three Oaks for work, so I didn't get to take advantage of the house as much as a vacationer would - the kitchen is amazing (I'd like it in my own house!), the dining room and parlor/living room are just perfect for reading, hanging out, visiting. And my room was so comfortable - loved all the touches. I really felt at home. Thanks, guys!

Original oak trimmed fireplace and a tiled hearth welcome you to the Michael Collins room. Extensive fretwork, adjoining private bath with original claw foot tub, queen size bed and a cozy sitting area invite you to relax and stay awhile in this gorgeous room. The room was named for the Irish legend Michael Collins. Micael O Coileain, aka Michael Collins, is regarded as one of history’s most intriguing and mysterious figures. The charismatic Irish rebel led Ireland’s fight for independence from Britain. In his very controversial role as IRA leader, he was indeed the man who made modern Ireland possible. Though Collins is seen as hero to some and rogue to others, his name is still in the hearts and minds of those with a love of Irish history.
The Michael Collins room feels like staying in a room from a century ago, but with all the amenities of modern comfort.

  • Glenn was a good host and makes a hellava frittata for breakfest. This is an old school atmosphere B&B. The place was clean and the bed comfortable. Its right off of Red Arrow Highway and unfortunately the Railway (can you say my Cousin Vinnie), but convenient to many sights in Harbor County.

  • Glenn was an amazing host. We felt like we were staying in an inn where all your needs are taken care of. You can tell this guy has his heart in it. Also, the music room is no joke - my girlfriend is a musician and she was impressed. It's too bad we didn't have time to enjoy it, which only means we'll have to come back. Thanks Glenn!

  • My family and I had a lovely stay. Glenn was very hospitable, and we felt very comfortable at the inn. It was so cozy and charming, and breakfast was absolutely delicious! My daughter especially loved having a gelato shop downstairs. We would not hesitate to visit again, and we look forward to coming back!

  • A restful night in a charming space. Even though my bike ride got rained out, I thoroughly enjoyed my long relaxed breakfast. The frittata was terrific.
