“This is a great spot to get a sandwich or panini made. They have an ice cream parlor and outside seating. Also good for staples; milk, some meats, bread, beer etc.”

“Delaware river rafting, canoeing, kayaking, and zip lining. If you ask nicely, sometimes they will let you park at the location at the bottom of our hill (literally a 3 minute drive) and then you can take their shuttle to the main facility, raft down the river, and then end your trip at the bottom of the hill.”

“Really everything. Breakfast and dinner in the main house and wilderness lounge for drinks. Bar food isn't bad. Sports bar, disco floor, a little Long Island in Barryville. Oh, also there is a pool for small fee if you feel like hanging out pool side.”

“The Stickett is tiny - but when they are open, they have excellent coffee (to go or for there), a mini cocktail menu with all NY and local wines and liquors, and in the summer they have very good, but limited, lunch food options. Its across the street from the Barrysville Farmers Market, when open in the summer on Saturdays, is fantastic. You also pass a nice 3-mile hike at Tusten Mountain Trail (on Crawford) on your way. About 20 min away.”

From their website: "The Carriage House Motel, Restaurant in Barryville, NY was built in the early 1900's and is recognized as a designated landmark. Embraced by the Delaware river and the Halfway Brook, the Building lies on a scenic acre of tall white pines and wild pear trees lining the courtyard.
