Vacation Rentals in United States

Just booked in Babb

One mile from the West Entrance to Glacier and a 4 "block" walk from Polebridge townsite, home to delicious food and drink, our cabin provides an opportunity for you to experience life at a simply slower pace.
The Cabin was built in 1977 by the original owner and sits on two acres 17 miles south of the Canadian border in one of the most pristine wilderness areas in the US. This is a great place for artistic inspiration and personal serenity so bring your pencil, instrument and paints. Equally romantic, it's a perfect getaway for two, or for a few friends to reunite. Our cabin also serves as a great launching site for any hike into the backcountry of Glacier. The interior has an open floor plan with two lofts with beds. Main floor has a refrigerator, oven and gas stove top, wood stove for heat and gas lights. There is also plenty of candle light! Make yourself at home and please try and give a little back if you need extras of anything. The cabin will be well stocked to make you feel comfortable. We typically won't have the chance to greet guests upon arrival, although we'd love to be there all the time! We will prepare visitors for their stay prior to arrival, highlighting the need for mindfulness. This is a very special place for all of us that come up here so good old fashioned respect comes easy. Notes for the cabin will be there when you arrive. What an unexpected village in the middle of nowhere...that touches people from everywhere. From birding and biking to floating and fishing, this North West entrance to Glacier National Park is truly an authentic Montana experience. The North Fork valley of the Flathead is home to one of the most intact ecosystems in North America. You will be living amongst wolves to wolverines and grizzly bears to mountain lions. Walking distance to great food at the Northern Lights Saloon, fresh baked goods and coffee and anything else you may need at the historic "Mercantile". You can also rent boats, paddle boards and bikes at North Fork Rentals downtown next to the Mercantile. Taxis deliver guests from Glacier International Airport for a steep price. We suggest bringing your own transit to allow you the freedom to see it all. The warm glow of the gas lights provides a nighttime energy makes you appreciate the inventions of the past. An indoor privy on a septic system (which is considered gold in the North Fork) is a luxury. And, we have one heck of a good wood stove/fireplace. Showers are available at the North Fork Hostel in Polebridge and at the Home Ranch Bottoms Store 6 miles south of town. We prefer to take our baths by heating up water on the stove and using a washcloth in the old fashioned Bird Bath Technique. Clean and conservative and rather effective. These are the type of things that make the North Fork so special for so many of us.

  • Fantastic getaway for our 4 person family. Very clean and cozy for a winter weekend which ended up being below zero one of the nights. Flan and Dan accommodated all our needs. Anyone would be blessed to stay in this unique cabin. Great personality of space with great resources about glacier and Montana. Wish we could've stayed longer and life didn't get in the way!

  • My husband and I both agree, if we ever owned a cabin we would want it to be just like this! The cabin invites the guest to embrace the slowness and bliss of backwoods living. We found everything we needed for our young family in the cabin, including an assortment of toys for our three year old son. I would also say that the cabin is even infant (crawling age) friendly as long as child is watched closely around the stoves. We built fires each night in the wood stove to keep the chill away, I made bread in the old gas stove with ingredients I found on hand, and we enjoyed the solar heated shower outside in the afternoons. All I can say is it was blissful! We will stay here again is the opportunity arises!

  • A charming place that welcomed us with snow and bear sitings. We had so much fun just walking around.

    Gary2016-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about this amazing cabin... We were so grateful to step off the grid and back in time to a simpler time and place. It's exactly what our family needed. We did great hikes every day, went to the nearby lakes both of which were beautiful and peaceful, and just spent time together in the cabin enjoying the moment... Thank you Dan and Flan for the vision you have brought to reality!

    Aubrey2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • It is a great peaceful place. It has just enough comforts for a cabin. We loved the location and visited the lakes in the north fork part of Glacier. It was an easy drive to the main park and we went on multiple days to the main park as well. A great place to recharge and appreciate the amazing beauty of the mountains.

    Dorene2017-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • 7/26/16 Dan and Flan were informative and very friendly in our communication leading up to our stay. It was incredible. My 18 year old son said" You could have booked us tickets to the Caribbean and we wouldn't have had this much fun". Thank you for the wonderful experience.

  • The cabin was just as described, a wonderful montana get away

    Holly2014-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was exactly as described and the most perfect get away. We enjoyed the simple things in life here - the squirrels chatting, the leaves turning yellow, the smell of fire, the stars coming out at night, the sound of the nearby river at night. This cabin is all sorts of perfect. We didn't get to meet Flan and Dan, but everything was easy enough to understand and well explained in the manual. The bed was cosy, the cabin more than warm enough in the cool September nights and the local Merc was just fantastic. We would definitely go back in a heart beat!

A spacious rustic cabin on the Swiftcurrent River. A 3 minute walk to the River. The home has an large open floor plan. A wrap around deck and standing windows, allowing a variety of wildlife to be seen from the home. Centrally located between Glacier National Park and Waterton Park.
Very private and large home. 10 minutes to the nearest small town of Babb with an grocery store, gas station and restaurants.
    Private and isolated.
  • Great base for east side of Glacier Park and Canada. Michelle was only a text away. Great family place.

    Cheryl2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Nice to be so close to the Many Glacier park entrance.

    mike2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Private cozy cabin, perfectly situated for a trip to Glacier! Michelle is an easy to communicate with host who has a great spot! She suggested we drive a back road to the park and it was beautiful! The master bedroom is comfortable, but one of the lofts has low head clearance, FYI. Kitchen has all that you could need and there are games for the family!

    julie2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's cabin was clean and comfortable. It was close to Glacier's East side but off the highway and very quiet.

    Ellie2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really close to Many Glacier trail heads, perfect as a hub for day hikes in east Glacier, which is where all the cool stuff is.

    Sean2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's place was just perfect for where we were at and what we wanted to do. It had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. Michelle was quite responsive. A great stop on the East side to split our two day trip to Glacier.

    Jordan2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is a great alternative to historic hotels with tons of space and a killer location. Be sure to watch the house deer, Mike the marmot chippy the chipmunk and all the animals that wander in and around the property. You will want to come back as soon as you leave. Great value and a great host Michelle.

We are located in Babb, MT. You’ll love my place because we are just minutes from the Many Glacier Region, St Mary (Going-to-the-Sun Road) and two Port of Entries into Alberta Canada (Chief Mountain and the Port of Piegan). Our home is situated on 10+ acres with views of Glacier National Park and the Pine Ridge Valley. 1.5 miles from Many Glacier Road GNP 8 miles to St Mary (Going-to-the-Sun-Road) GNP
  • Kim and Kit are amazing people. The property is beautiful. I loved the dogs and enjoyed my stay in this beautiful area. The only issue was finding the property as (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) pointed me to the left hand of the road, but it should be on the right. Highly recommended.

    Tyler2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Kit and Kim set the bar high for hosts. Kit is native to the land and Kim used to work in the park so they can answer any questions you have. Don't waste your time staying anywhere on the west side like I did. Kit and Kim's place is just down the road from Many Glacier and about an hr from Alberta. So, the views from here were awesome. We didn't spend much time in the room, but it was large, clean and comfortable. Aside from sleeping, the whole time I was at their home we were hanging out on the porch, carrying on with great conversation while their granddaughter gave my daughter rides on the 4wheeler, picked wild flowers together, played with the dogs and fed the horse. By the time we left they felt more like great friends. They are such friendly, down to earth people. I can't wait to go back and stay here again!

    Brittany2017-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't really praise Kit & Kim enough for how good they were as hosts. They were great conversationalists. They had tons of recommendation for our hikes in Glacier. Their bacon was amazing. They had two adorable dogs and one tamed horse. Most importantly, they are extremely kind people. I would recommend this place to anyone planning to visit East Glacier. It's just half an hour from Many Glacier and less to St. Mary.

    Sarun2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Kim & Kit did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome & at home. We had everything we needed our entire stay. Their home is clean and the private space was perfect for our needs. The location is perfect if you're visiting the east side of Glacier National Park (assuming you're not stuck in an unexpected snow storm like us! :)) Kim & Kit made sure we had everything we needed as we hunkered down and waited out the snowstorm. On top of that, they are the nicest and friendliest people you'll ever meet!

    Amanda2016-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Kim and Kit offered us a unique and local experience! They are VERY gracious people! The space had everything we needed, it was private and very clean. We used the kitchen and cooked supper which they even laid out steaks for us since everything was closed in town. They were very helpful with hiking and local information as well. Their location is unbeatable if you plan to visit many glacier! We very much enjoyed our conversation and time with Kim and Kit! We would stay again!

    Candice2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Kit and Kim were wonderful hosts, the space was very clean and comfortable, and the location was a short drive to GNP and a Babb. I would definitely come back!

    hana2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great room in a fantastic location - just minutes from both Many Glacier and St Mary's. Kim is a fantastic host and has stocked tons of material for planning, as well as being a great resource herself. The room was great, made use of the laundry facilities as well, which was a huge plus! Breakfast was A+ as well. Can't say enough about our stay except it was too short!

    Keith2017-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had an absolutely amazing time staying with Kim and Kit. They go above and beyond hospitality, to make for our best Airbnb experience ever. They are wonderful hosts that we can now call friends. The room was beautiful and everything clean. They made sure we did want for anything, and they are simply generous and kind people. Not only did they make comfort a priority, they have so much knowledge about the area, Glacier Park, and helped us with hikes, scenic drives, and where to eat. They made our Glacier Park experience something truly memorable. We will definitely go back. I recommend anyone hiking/traveling to East Glacier stay with these wonderful people!

  • A terrific jumping-off point for exploring East Glacier. Jeff and Timi are wonderful hosts with great bear stories to tell! The cabin is quiet and cozy, and the location can't be beat! — 30 minutes to Many Glacier, or 40 minutes to Logan Pass. My wife and I had a great time, and will be staying here again in the future.

  • Very warm and hospitable hosts. Great location to explore Glacier National Park. Off the grid and very secluded. Would most definitely stay again in the future.

    Rob2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Timi and Jeff were great hosts. Very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was great for our purposes. We made several day hikes on the East side of Glacier and comfortably had 3 people in the cabin.

  • This cabin is located in an amazing location with a view of St Mary's Lake. It's minutes from the Many Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park and really provides an excellent homebase for exploring the park. Timi is a superb host with great communication and hospitality. Even late in the shoulder season, this made for an excellent trip to Glacier.

    Daniel2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Timi and Jeff are amazing hosts, and their cabin was the perfect spot for me for a few days of hiking in Glacier. I traveled alone, and not only was this cabin the perfect amount of space for me, but it was nice to feel secluded but also a little protected, as Timi and Jeff are so friendly and parked not very far away. Everything was clean and cozy, and it felt like home immediately. I really can't say enough good things about my experience, and I would definitely stay here again on any future trips to Glacier.

Our home is close to Glacier Park, Many Glacier, St. Mary's, Going to the sun road, and Waterton Park, with great views, Lake Front living, family activities, Fishing, Great hiking. wildlife Viewing. You’ll love our place because of Quiet, Remote and private, close to all The East side of Glacier park has to offer. If You want to see the Canadian side of the park by going to Waterton, remember to bring Your passport.
Unbelievable views of the rugged mountains across the lake, making great sunsets and a wonderful backdrop to enjoy a glass of wine with family and friends. Roast some smores in the big fire pit, take a walk on the shoreline.
The East Side of glacier park is much more rugged and wide open than the West side. We are situated right on the shores of a beautiful spring fed lake, across the lake from our home you are looking at the rugged peaks of Glacier Park. We never tire of this view and most sunsets are amzing colors of reds and yellows that make for a wonderful sight right from our deck.
  • Such a wonderful quiet place. Very comfortable and lovely details taken by the host. Nice size bedrooms and with enough storage for your clothes. Three bathrooms were a blessing after a long day of hikes. The road to the cottage is a little rough and I was not sure we are heading the right direction, but just follow the (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) directions and you will eventually get there after about 5-7 mins on the dirt road. Other than that, there is no dishwasher, which we didn't mind since we didn't really cook a lot and no air conditioning but again just open the windows and let the lake breeze come in. You will love it here.

    Yukte2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • The view is spectacular and is conveniently located to Glacier National Park. So much better than a hotel. Our kids had the basement to themselves and enjoyed the games and darts.

The Muddy Creek family would love to share a peice of their mountain heaven. Take yourself back in time and enjoy an antique mountain cabin stay.
The birds perch cabin is a small log cabin with one bedroom. The bedroom has a bunk bed with one single bed and a double. In the living room area there is a pull out double bed for extra guests. Adjacent to the cabin is the loo, a large cozy outhouse with running water in the hand carved log sink.
  • Such a greatt experience we all had dere!!! I ll come back n stay for longer period Great place with natural beauty ... great work Marina

    Harsimran2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • As architects we appreciated the craftsmanship of this cabin, outhouse, and outdoor amenity space. The hand cut creek stone counters, the farm tool crafted faucets and fixtures, the upcycled telephone pole log cabin. Even without a shower (I'd say this should be the next creative add-on) the full experience was perfect for us - rustic and sublime. Horseshoes at the creek, a lovely outhouse, fine deck, well stocked kitchen and spice area, cooking implements and BBQ pit - no need on our visit for wood burning stove. All were perfect for our short stay exploring Waterton park and as a kickoff to Glacier. Driving to this hideaway afforded all of the views to the mountains and Chief Mountain in particular. Hit liquor and grocery stores in advance - not much near in this dry county- but we'd been given the heads up. Record collection was quite fun - vintage country - 70s folk - disco Ktel albums and early classic rock. We gave it all a whirl! Thanks to our wonderful hostess for the accommodation!

  • such a nice place ! No cell service or TV so it was great to just relax and enjoy the company.

    Gavin 2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Marina was very helpful and friendly! The place was very peaceful with the creek near by. It was an even better stay then my friends and I expected. The record player was also really fun to listen to! We are definitely coming back.

    Joanna2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the decor and cozy feel to the cabin. It was nestled into a secluded area next to a stream. We played horseshoes by the stream and enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings. It was a beautiful location, and we would enjoy staying there again. There is an outhouse right next to the cabin, and I know that this may sound strange, but it is the best outhouse ever! It didn't smell, and there was a wooden sink in there, as well. (It actually smelled nice!) You will need to do sponge baths or bathe in the creek, but bathing in the creek will most likely be cold. Lastly, there is a gravel road that leads to the cabin for quite a few miles, so having a SUV or a truck would be helpful. However, we did get there with just a rental car that was a Camry, so it can be done without 4 wheel drive. They did have a side-by-side vehicle that they let us use for the last part of the drive where it got steeper. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would recommend it highly.

    Nancy2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Marina's place is just the best Airbnb you will ever find! A piece of heaven, quiet, peaceful, cosy, beautiful, with all the furniture you will need for an adventurous stay! we had a wonderful week end, thank you so much!!

There is an abundance of activities to do on the ranch - we took advantage of the horse riding and had a blast. We will for sure be back, and will recommend the ranch to everyone. Thanks for the memories!

A cozy mid century bungalow just 3 miles from the Port of Peigan/Carway border crossing. Glacier National Park is a scenic 30 minute drive, and Waterton is a 45 minute drive to the park gates/50 minutes to the townsite. We are located on a working ranch with incredible views of the Rocky Mountains, especially Chief Mountain. Our family friendly cottage will give you a glimpse of our peaceful country lifestyle.
My husband Jeff and I along with our 5 children, our very active border collie, 3 horses, multiple barn cats, and our herd of cows love living on our scenic ranch which has been in Jeff's family for 100 years. This is a great location for easy access to sites on both sides of the border. Be sure to bring your passports! The entrance to Glacier National park, the home of breathtaking views and amazing hikes, is a scenic 30 minute drive. The Babb Cattle Baron Supper Club is a great place to enjoy a meal, as well as many places in St. Mary, at the entrance to the park. On the Canadian side of the border, we are 15 minutes from Cardston, where there is the largest Carriage museum in North America, the Carriage House Theatre, which provides excellent summer theatre productions, and the Historic Cardston Alberta Mormon temple. Waterton Lakes National park is about 45 minutes (60 km) from us, a great place to hike, bike, horse back ride, explore the local shops and relax by the lake. You can take 2 different routes to Waterton, one on each side of the border. This vacation rental is an ongoing project and we look forward to updating things as we go. All the beds have brand new mattresses and sheets. We have a vintage inspired play room in the basement for kids to play, as well as a bedroom with a double and single bed.
  • We stayed for two nights while exploring Glacier National Park and Waterton. It was a great location!

  • This place is wonderful. My son and I hiked for five days in Glaciar Natl Park and came back each night to a shower and comfortable bed. The house has everything you need and Jeff and Elizabeth made us feel very welcomed. Great value for the cost. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks Jeff and Elizabeth.

  • Hosts home is located in a beautiful farm setting with a front row seat to the Rocky's. As a party of six adults we were very comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and lovely and all rooms have all the necessary necessities. Elizabeth and Jeff wanted us to have the best possible stay. We all loved the farm tour.

  • Glacier View cottage is very quaint, clean, and comfortable with an amazing view of Chief Mountain; love the shabby chic decor. Elizabeth is an amazing host. We did not having any issues staying at this lovely cottage. The highlight for us and especially for the kids was our visit to the farm animals; she and her family share their farm life with us, which made our vacation that much more memorable and unforgettable!!!!

    Kim2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time. The drive is convenient to both waterton and to the united states border. The home is clean and comfortable. It is so easy to feel at home here. We would love to come back and bring more people! It was so spacious with us 4. Also the fully equipped kitchen made breakfasts so easy to prepare. Elizabeth left us freshly picked raspberries in our fridge, so wonderful! The 2 bathrooms are very modern, clean and spacious. The beds and bedrooms are comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spacious. We wish we could have stayed longer and had a day just to enjoy this beautiful inn! Thanks to elizabeth for being such a gracious and generous host!

    Justine2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth's place has an awesome view of Chief Mountain and a quiet rural setting that makes relaxing easy. The house is definitely older, but has everything needed and is very comfortable. Elizabeth was very responsive and had some of our favorite amenities. We appreciated the fans in each room and the lamps on either side of the beds as we like to read at night. Be advised that her home is in a dry county and restaurants are minimal and basic. If you want an adult beverage and a more upscale meal you will have to travel about 45 minutes. Elizabeth's home is a great place to stay for accessing Glacier as it is only 3 miles from the border and 15-20 minutes from Glacier activities. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this as a relaxing beautiful place to stay!

    Dena2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Elizabeth's place is fantastic! It was clean, cozy and very roomy for a group of 8 travellers. Everything in the house looked brand new as well and it was under 10 minutes from the US border, making it very convenient if you plan to visit Glacier National Park in Montana. Hands down one of the best hosts/experiences I've had!

  • Eve is a great host, easy to talk to and very accessible for support and suggestions. The house is bright, open and great for a big family. The kitchen is great with lots of room to cook and entertain. Various toys and board games are available inside and a big in-ground trampoline outside is sure to keep the kids busy! The location is a bit secluded and it takes about 6-7 minutes on gravel road to get to the house. Driving time to Waterton Park is about 35 minutes.

  • We loved the setting, cleanliness and views of the home. It was a bit of a trip on 5 minutes of gravel roads to get to the house. The views of the surrounding mountains were spectacular! The kitchen was modern and fairly well equipped. The home was comfortable, tidy and open-concept, which we loved for our (extended) family of seven. The tap water doesn't taste great so you may want to bring in your own water. It was a great place to get away and relax after a day of activities in Waterton.

  • Our stay at Kathryn's place was very relaxing. She was very accommodating and quick to respond when we have questions or concerns (They just live next to the house). As soon as we entered the house it felt warm and inviting. It's approximately a 25 minute drive to Waterton National Park for those who like to explore the park. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Perfectly picturesque location in a lovely family home! Views can't be beat! Be aware, driving a short distance on a rocked non-paved road is required to gain access to property. Property is also located in a dry county.

  • We were 5 families and booked Kathryn house for 2 days, The house and location is awesome, the house and all the amenities are as described and as per the photos. Kathryn was a wonderful host and very friendly..would love to be there again.

  • We had a great time. Plenty of space and a great location with beautiful views.

  • Kathryn was one of the best hosts we have had. She lives right next door and is very quick to respond/answer questions. The house was lovely exactly as advertised. It was clean, tidy, spacious and ready for us to move in and enjoy our weekend. The house was fully stocked and we did not require anything. Extra. Even if needed something we couldn't find, Kathryn was quick to respond and letting us know where it was. Having her right next door was very convenient - especially when a snow storm hit the morning we were leaving. Her and her family were kind enough to alert us and clear up the snow from our cars. They also paved our way onto the main road. It was a great gesture and we certainly appreciated it. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and we definitely will be coming back in the summer time!

    Hibbah2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Kathryn's home is in excellent condition, very warm and cosy. The location is very suitable for our group whom are very interested in photography. We all had a very happy & fun time in and around the vicinity. Highly recommend to photographers, who will love to see the magic of sun rise and sun set affects the mountain, the farm land etc... We were very lucky heat the best time of the fall season, changing colour from green to yellow and to golden colour etc..... The group of six from Vancouver.

  • Very clean and cozy accommodations. A quick drive from Waterton, great location for visiting the park. The fire pit and outdoor space was wonderful as well. Jody was very kind and great to deal with. Thank you for a great experience!

  • Jody's place was awesome! We loved the proximity to Waterton Lakes National Park and he surrounding countryside. Everything on Airbnb was accurate as far as what to expect and Jody was incredibly helpful and prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had (which were minimal)! We enjoyed the night skies and saying hello to the horses! We did have some boisterous neighbors downstairs on 2 nights, but they didn't keep us awake. We don't have kids, but there was a box of toys, books, and a high chair for those traveling with little ones. Something to note for visitors who like to wind down with a drink in the evening- if you don't bring your own alcohol, the closest liquor store is in Waterton Park (~$20/day entry unless you go this year with the Canada 150 pass). Cardston is a dry town, and they told us there about 30 min north would be the closest purchasable alcohol.

  • Jody's place is super gorgeous and soooo close to the park! The amazing views from her place looking out of her windows was so inspiring and peaceful. It was so thoughtful that Jody has toys and games set up because her gigantic living room is perfect for it.

  • Prime view's just a 10-15 min drive to Waterton. Enough room for 8. Our group loved the cleanliness, distance and location. There's a nice firepit and lawn chairs but they were on fire ban when we were there. It would have been nice to have one though, We stayed in the basement with no issues other than not having a chopping board or we just didnt look further. There's a poor connection at the basement but there's wifi and smart TV. Will surely come back.

    Airah2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place and close to Waterton Park! Jody also was very responsive and helpful. We had a great time at the Jody's place. Will stay here again if return to the area.

    Mehdi2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the basement unit which is basic, but fair for the price. The weather was good so we had meals outside with good views of the mountains. The basement unit does carry sound from upstairs a lot so, depending on the consideration of the folks in the upstairs unit, noise can be an issue.

The stars at night will dazzle you here in the country. Open concept living and dining, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Queen wall bed in the living room and a queen "memory foam" pullout sofa makes for comfortable sleeping for 6. A gas fire place keeps the entire suite cozy and warm! Private yard with BBQ - Laundry facilities.
This space is newly renovated - it's ultra clean and bright with windows on both sides of the suite (north and south). The couches are high quality sofa beds with memory foam mattresses (very comfortable!). There are two computer stations, laundry and a good sized hallway for your coats and shoes. There is a private little yard with a BBQ for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view.
We are in the country with wide open spaces around us. We do have neighbours with whom we are all good friends. Our house sits on 5 acres and looks out onto rolling hills and a treed valley with a spectacular mountain range that is breathtaking! The stars at night are equally breathtaking as there are no street lamps to interfere with the grandeur of the night sky.
  • Kathryn's suite was lovely. I woke up every morning watching the sunlight wash over the mountains. The kitchen was great -- gas stove, nice big fridge. Kathryn was very responsive to anything I needed. It was a home away from home, which made my trip away from my family a lot more comfortable.

  • So awesome! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! The place is very well situated between Cardston and Waterton, very scenic, easy to find. Check in was great, hosts have it worked out you can check in any hour (which was nice because we ended up getting to a border that was closed, and had to go to another one which made us arrive very late). Hosts have stickers over kitchen cupboards, light switches, and closets so you know exactly where everything is and what goes to what. Kitchen was also stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as dishes. Extra towels, soap, travel sized amenities were there in case we needed them. Wi-fi worked great. Laminated sheets provided instructions for everything. Ample space for 11 people for our family reunion. We enjoyed the fire pit and used some hot dog/marshmallow sticks that were provided as well for making smores together. My dad remarked it was the "Nicest place we've ever stayed." Very clean and enjoyable. Very good value.

  • Amazing place to stay for large groups. There are 14 beds but the house is so spacious that it can hold many more. It was very clean, facilities was much better than we have seen in other places. The outdoor area was fabulous. The location is another plus for this place. Far enough that you would disturb neighbors, and yet clise to the national park.

  • We spent a good portion of the weekend cleaning up hatches and swarms of box elder bugs both externally and inside. Unless this is completely resolved, I don't recommend staying. Other than that, location is good, view is gorgeous, and beds are comfy.

  • Stayed for 3 nights with a group of 11 over New Years Eve weekend. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was great for cooking meals for our large group. Rebecca was a great host and responded promptly to all questions. We had a great time!

    David2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at Rebecca's house with my parents and brother for two nights. It's an amazing place with a great story and the location is spectacular. Do note that there are only bathtubs (no showers) and no liquor is sold in the surrounding area.

    Colin2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Immediatley upon arrival we called the host Rebecca to make her aware of the uncleanliness, safety concerns and lock security issues. Our host then asked a neighbour to come over to verify our concerns. As advertised on Airbnb for 12 people there was only room for 8 people. On the first night two couples left as they were so disappointed and had to pay for other accomodation in Cardston and Pincher Creek. As shown in the photos uploaded pubic hairs were in the beds, which were unmade and terribly unclean. The floors were incredibly dirty. The dishwasher had unclean dishes, that appeared to have been there for months. We were very concerned about sanitary issues in the kitchen that we did not prepare any meals. The security door lock was open and partly broken off the door. We were told by Rebecca the host on the day that we arrived (Sunday 13th) that the house had been professionally cleaned that day, however we do not see that this could have been possible when we arrived to such an unclean house. Upon arrival one of our guests commented that they thought they had seen someone moving in the house and then saw a red vehicle leave. We are trying to give as much information as possible as we don't want anyone else to experience such disappointment when booking this house with Airbnb. We requested a partial refund, however we are currently waiting for a response from Febecca.

  • Bryan and Cara's place was wonderful. Very clean and tidy. They have two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two twins. We were just a couple traveling for sightseeing Writing on Stone (1.5 hour drive), Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump (1 hour drive), and Waterton (30-40 minutes). It was a great central location from which we could drive off each day for our sightseeing. There is a bathroom for your use only and a small fridge. They have that whole end of the home curtained off for privacy. We were provided breakfast every morning, including fantastic rhubarb muffins, and saskatoon berries with eggo waffles. There is coffee and fruit as well. Bryan and Cara were very pleasant hosts and would sit and chat when we were available or help us run out the door with some breakfast on our way to sightseeing. I highly recommend this for a clean, comfortable and very affordable place to stay.

  • Bryan and Cara's place is super cozy. We had four girls traveling together and were all very satisfied of our stay. They had given me the house description before we came and welcomed us and settled us down right away. The bed is comfortable just like home, and the washroom is tidy and clean with everything you need! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Bryan and Cara's place. :)

  • Bryan and Cara were fantastic hosts and very welcoming! Their place is conveniently located on the way from Calgary to Glacier. They gave us many suggestions for the area and the surrounding parks, and the offered breakfast items and coffee in the morning were very appreciated! We had the pleasure of seeing their beautiful beadwork pieces, and play around with their snazzy karaoke setup. A memorable first night in Canada, for sure!

  • Bryan and Cara were wonderful hosts. They were accommodating to our late arrival time, the bedroom was comfortable and cozy, and the bathroom was shared with a second bedroom but since we were the only guests we had it for ourselves only. In the morning they prepared us coffee and send us away with a delicious muffin. Great stay!

    Kimie2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and friendly Hosts, super clean and quiet place to stay. Hard to believe they just start doing Airbnb and they were doing so well. Cara contacted us before we came and gave us tips about how to get their place. They are so organized and well prepared for us before we came. We felt so warmly welcomed when we arrived. They invited us to have homemade muffins in the morning (they tasted so delicious!) and showed us their lovely family photos and the fine crafts they made(super cool and delicate!) Feels like visiting a family friend in the countryside. We are definitely going back to their place next time we visit waterton national park. No wonder their places booked so quick and full and have so many great reviews! Lucky to find their place on airbnb and thanks again to Bryan and Cara!

Beautiful mountain views, colorful sunsets and dark starry skies are yours to enjoy at this cozy backcountry home. Large living room, upright piano, full kitchen, full bathroom, washer/dryer and great drinking water. Centrally located to all four east entrances into Glacier National Park.
It is the most peaceful and relaxing place I've ever lived, the seclusion adds to the tranquility. There is a 360° view of the horizon where wildlife abound. You can see nine summits in Glacier National Park just looking out the windows.
There are only about a dozen neighbors within one square mile and we all know each other and enjoy barbecuing together and helping one another.
  • Very nice house. It took James six summers to fix and delicate this house. James provided extremely good facilities and it really liked a home to us. We also experienced two fantastic nights and we saw marvelous and unforgettable starry sky.

    Yingying2015-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • James' cabin was great, and was close to Glacier, but the Browning area didn't have the touristy feel of the towns West of the park. The cabin had everything we needed and stayed very warm with the electric heaters provided. The views were outstanding, and it's extremely quiet there, too. I visited right after several feet of snow fell, but the long driveway road was passable in a Subaru Crosstrek. I'd say in the snow you need 4wd/AWD and 8+ inches of ground clearance; the dirt road itself underneath was pretty flat. Anyway, it was a great place to stay, and I'm glad I didn't stay on the West side, where it looked like a bunch of cabins and RV parks stacked on top of each other.

  • Convenient location, quiet, well-equipped, great communication with owner. House has everything you need. Definitely recommend.

  • First and second stay perfect; relaxing and comfortable. Hope to return. Great experience with James' place Airbnb.

    Carol2017-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • James was amazing in getting in contact with me right after I booked his house. He also was very thorough with instructions and descriptions about the house. Gave us information for activities around the area and had a very welcoming, warm attitude. My mom and I enjoyed our visit immensely and would recommend this house to anyone wanting a bit of an adventure... with beautiful views, a peaceful retreat, well maintained, clean and thoughtfully put together house.

    Molly2016-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • There aren't too many places that are so close to East Glacier National Park that accommodate a family. James' place was one of them and it was a wonderful place to stay. His place is spacious, clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for kids to run around. The property is very close to East Glacier National Park and James gave us a lot of tips to explore the area in the short amount of time that we had. He was very easy to get in contact with. The property can be somewhat difficult to locate and mobile phone reception is sketchy. Don't follow the gps directions!

    Erica & Alex2016-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great location away from the crowds and located not far from two park entrances; Two Medicine and St. Mary. The home is very clean, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen for meals. James offered great suggestions for the park and surrounding areas for activities and restaurants. We were not disappointed and would definitely choose James' place again on a visit to Glacier. Loved seeing the hummingbirds, night sky and animals near this location.

  • This cabin was a treat. The location was perfect for exploring the East side of Glacier NP. The setting was beautiful, out in a meadow far away from any traffic or noise, with beautiful views of the mountains. The cabin itself was very cozy. We played some scrabble while listening to the best of the 70's music. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Do be aware, the driveway to the cabin is rough. I would suggest a high clearance 4x4, our Jeep Grand Cherokee had no problem navigating it.

This gorgeous cottage sleeps 6 & is completely self contained. It is located just 30 min outside of Waterton National Park. Has stunning mountain & prairie views, & is in the country on 106 acres! Every bit of the 900 sq ft cottage has been professionally and beautifully decorated in a vintage inspired theme. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed as well as a double futon in the living room. The surrounding deck is a perfect spot to picnic and includes a table, chairs & a barbeque.

  • This is a cute, rustic cottage with some lovely décor. It is in a serene setting that offers a getaway from busy life. The host was responsive and helpful when contacted with questions prior to our stay. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness of the cottage negatively impacted our experience. We had to clean some areas ourselves (shower, kitchen) before we felt comfortable using them. Even after doing this, we still had trouble relaxing, as the rest of the cottage was not acceptably clean. Despite having paid a cleaning fee, a note in the cottage directed us to complete several tasks prior to check-out (including stripping beds, taking out garbage, sweeping floors, etc). We did not expect this. At this price point, we had higher expectations for our stay. This is unfortunate, as this cottage has the potential to be a nice retreat.

    Shannon2017-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Friendly and helpful host. Lovely cottage. Great place for a family retreat.

    Quinn2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice cottage! Easily fit our family of 4, with all the necessary amenities for a family to cook, eat, and enjoy a retreat. Getting to the cottage requires driving about 5km on gravel road, and the cottage is about 30 mins from Waterton. WiFi is on the slow side (~3mbps down/1mbps up), but I was getting very fast LTE to make up for it (roaming on t-mobile, not sure which network I was on). Communication with Rebecca was excellent - she was quick and responsive.

    Frankie2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Waterton/glacier Park was spectacular. Accommodations are pricey but that's the way it is in the summer in that area. It was great to come home to a wonderful shower and healthy meal after a long day of hiking. Rebecca was always in communication and prompt on responding and answering any questions or issues.

  • So Ralph and Maureen were lovely hosts! What great cooks too. We stayed the last night of a heat wave... they made every accommodation to make us cool and comfortable. We arrived later on a Sunday evening, so only place open for supper was DQ. Yum.

    Sheila2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The pictures were representative of the layout of the house and it was decently close to Waterton National Park. We had a bit of a miscommunication with the length of our stay as they thought we had only booked a single night when we had booked for two. Maurine handled the situation very well and we had no further issues. Otherwise, it was a comfortable stay.

  • Nice & very convenient accommodation even for large family....we are family of four and my parents joined us for a trip to waterton, finding place for 6 people was tricky but we found Ralph & Maurine's house at cardston. House is conveniently located in a quiet community. We had very pleasant & comfortable stay. We enjoyed staying there and the trip to Cardston

    Saurabh2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ralph and Maurine were wonderful hosts. They were the perfect mix of personable and professional. It was almost like staying with family but with the privacy and comforts of a hotel room (water cooler, tissue boxes, 'Do Not Disturb Sign,' body-length mirror, luggage stand, fresh towels, etc). The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet and made our stay even more relaxing. We were provided with hot cinnamon rolls when we arrived and were treated to a premium breakfast for a few dollars extra. It was an optimum B&B experience!

Located 20 minutes from Historic Waterton Park this newly renovated house located on a working ranch offers a quiet place to relax, or recuperate, in preparation for the next days adventures. Comfortably sleeps 7 in the bedrooms, but there is a sofa bed if you need a little extra space.
Located just a half mile from the highway on a working ranch with horses, cows, bulls, cats and a dog. The hamlet of Mountain View is just 5 miles away where you can play at the playground or head to the Barn Store for ice-cream and snacks.
  • The house was exactly as advertised. The house was well organized with everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the BBQ and having fires at night. It was very quiet and felt secluded even with the main house next door. Vinessa and family were very kind and responsive to questions. The place was easy to find and provided easy access to Waterton National Park.

    Sean2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous views of the Rockies and rolling hills of farmland from the kitchen and airy, light-filled living room. Vinessa and her husband were gracious and friendly, answering our many questions about the area. The home is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the soft beds after a day of hiking. We took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen and BBQ setup. We thoroughly enjoyed the working ranch aspect: Sid the friendly Lab greeted us with tail wagging, and the little Mama cat adopted us. When you wake in the morning, Mama Cow and her calf were right across the fence while horses grazed nearby. Would highly recommend this place; we are panning to come again!

  • We had a wonderful stay at the Reverse R Ranch. The home was family-friendly, cozy, beautiful and clean. The location was superb - secluded yet minutes away from Waterton. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

  • This is a great 3 bdrm 1 bath guest house that is about an hour from Many Glacier entrance and 20 minutes from Waterton. It was perfect for my husband and I. The beds are super comfortable as are the pillows. Vinessa provided plenty of towels, great bedding, toilet paper, paper towels and a stocked kitchen (plates, cups, utensils, cooking pans, etc.). She also had coffee, hot tea, hot cocoa, popcorn and some candy as well. There is a washer and dryer along with detergent and dryer sheets as well. Vinessa was very responsive to our questions via email and text. I would highly recommend this guest house and would stay here again.

    Donna2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • This guest house is a wonderful experience. The peaceful, serene surroundings of the plains with the beautiful mountains. At night, all you hear is the wind and maybe a distant coyote howling as you bask on the front porch, gazing into the big sky of stars. The ambience in the house is inviting and very comfortable....including all the beds/pillows. The house is well stocked, even with extras like candy! Exceptionally clean with lots of towels, linens. It is truly a home away from home. Vinessa and her husband Curtis are very personable and accommodating. Even though they/children live next door, you have total privacy and accessibility if you need anything including information about Waterton Park or surrounding area. There is a new gas grill, fire pit, lawn chairs and picnic table outside. The cat and Sid the dog will greet you daily. Loved watching the horses and cows graze. We were even visited by a large hare! It's a gem for the price. Waterton Park is only 20 minutes away. We will definitely be returning and we have already recommended it to our friends. So glad to have found this on Airbnb!

  • Fantastic to deal with start to finish. Location is gorgeous and place is beautiful. Highly recommended!! It's only half hour drive to Waterton Park, the scene is awesome. They provided all the things we need, like towels, plates, even coffees, teas, cooking pot. Such a lovely place and people, also the cute dog. Will definitely revisit here.

    Tianrui2017-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • The house was amazing, Vinessa provides a lot more amenities than any other Airbnb we've used, and the property is beautiful, will definitely be back for our next trip to Waterton!

    Alison2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Vinessa's house worked out well for our visit to Waterton Park. It was only about a 20 minute drive to the park. The house was located on the family farm, surrounded by beautiful rolling grasslands with the mountains in the distance. There are no amenities close by, so you need to plan accordingly. Vinessa's house was spotlessly clean and newly decorated with reclaimed wood walls and furniture. The house was stocked with everything you will ever need; spices, barbecue, games, videos...A perfect place to visit this beautiful area. Thanks, Vinessa!

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Ralph's site 2 with Bert and Elaine. The bedroom and bathroom are part of a house with shared living quarters so a little less private. Bert and Elaine were so welcoming and we used the kitchen for some of our meals. We appreciated their hospitality and lots of recommendations for exploring Waterton National Park where we spent most of our time. Cardston is an LDS community so we learned a bit about the culture and history related to that way of life.

  • The cozy cottage house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly imagine. It was excellent for our family of 6 people. The fire pit and hammock were greatly appreciated as it allowed for quiet relaxation and social gathering in the evening. The location was great too, close to a general store and a quick drive to all of the gorgeous hikes and scenic bike rides of Waterton. The only thing I that could have made this place more perfect for our family of 6, would have been a second bathroom.

  • Judy's place was a gem! It was clean and cozy. Would recommend this place tp anyone.

  • We really liked staying at Judy's place. She came by and gave us great suggestions of things to do in town. Her house is very spacious and comfortable, close to town. A great place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. We would love to come back again.

  • Judy's place was in the perfect location to get a great start on a day in Glacier National Park! We arrived in the evening, used Judy's convenient menus to find some quick carry out, and were able to dine while observing the beauty of Two Medicine Lake. I was fighting a cold, and Judy had plenty of helpful medicines and beverages set up at the house -- which I so appreciated!

    Jaclyn2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Judy's house is a great place to stay when hiking Glacier Park, and Judy is a super host who has thought of everything, from spices to ample towels to excellent beds and linens, even paper goods for packing picnics and a can of bear spray to take hiking. She was so nice upon arrival and tecommended exactly how best to do the Sun Road drive and some hikes given our day and a half stay. This is a whole house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and you get the whole house no matter how many bedrooms you need. We grilled on the gas BBQ one night, and took Judy's suggestion of The Whistle Stop for dinner the next night-we recommend get the pork runs..chicken and beef ribs ok but pork ribs very special. Got our groceries about an hour north on our drive down from Calgary at a supermarket but there are smaller grocers nearby. Quiet with nice yard one Street in from main street with lodges. The house is immaculately clean and Judy has done a great job with local art and decor.

    Nicole2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, and Judy is a super friendly and helpful host...she even provided us some homemade banana bread, which was great for all the hiking we had lined up! Would highly recommend!

    ERIC2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • After a long day of driving, it was a delight to enter Judy's spacious place. Four of us adults used three of her four bedrooms, and appreciated the two bathrooms for facilitating early morning departures. Her pantry is well stocked with condiments and there is a generous supply of bottled waters and juices available in her refrigerator. We took advantage of her washer and dryer; succumbed to watching a bit of tv in the evenings; and enjoyed the few personal interactions we had with her. Yes: you get to pick raspberries! It's a long way to drive to Many Glaciers, and about an hour's drive to the park entrance at St. Mary's, so be prepared for summer traffic and road construction delays. Two Medicine is not nearly as crowded, so check it out!

    Catherine2017-08-18T00:00:00Z

  • Kimberly was extremely responsive. I inquired into whether or not she had a pack-n-play since the home is family friendly. She said she did not but would purchase one and asked if there were any other children's items which might make our stay more comfortable. I was shocked to see a full size crib when we arrived! It made our trip and was so very thoughtful. Anyone who has traveled with kids would understand how awesome this was! Kimberly also provided advice about the area and water jugs whenever we needed them. The location is perfect for going to the east side of glacier. We were 10 mins from the going to the sun road, 30 from Many Glacier area, and about an hour from Two Medicine. We loved how quiet this side of the park is but appreciated the proximity of Kimberly's other property (it helped us not feel too isolated). There were a few restaurant options and groceries within 30 minutes. The view from the home is as pictured and amazing! Overall we were really happy with the home, our trip and Kimberly as our host.

  • We had a great stay here. The view of the lake is beautiful. You won't want to drink the tap water, but there's a water cooler and Scott was great about bringing us a new jug every day. The kitchen was great for cooking, including a grill on the deck. There's also a fire pit with wood already chopped and ready to go. The local grocery store is pretty meager if you're looking to cook, so try to stock up while you're out and about. (Teeple's IGA in Browning was perfect) The neighbors in Single Shot 2 were a bit closer than expected and the lot the house is on would be a bit nicer if it was grass rather than dirt, but neither of these really affected our stay much. I didn't receive arrival instructions until the day of, but it ended up going smoothly.

  • First time in a 5th wheel. Will not be my last. The pictures don't do it justice. Judy met us, gave us information on hikes and the area. Loved east glacier! The king size bed was amazing. The home made apple muffins and raspberry jam a special treat. Thanks to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) for those treats. Can't wait to go back

  • This was the perfect place for me to stay. The RV is just as it looks in the pictures, cute, quaint and clean. It is one block from the main road so you have access to restaurants and a couple little shops without having to drive. And yet there is no road noise. The RV has everything you need - and a king size bed which was very comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. Judy was very helpful with information about the area. I would recommend this place to any couple. Thanks Judy!!!

  • Great spot to stay while visiting Glacier National Park. Central to all entrances, comfortable accommodations in a quaint village. The Hosts are friendly and informative. They even welcomed us with fresh banana bread. We enjoyed the breakfast nook that looked out on the beautiful garden. Our hosts encouraged us to pick fresh raspberries. Such a treat!! This is a place we will return to if we ever visit Glacier again.

  • Judy's place is just a short walk from everything in East Glacier Village. She has a very nice yard and garden the nights are very quiet. Judy is a great host with very nice neighbors. We hope to stay there again.

  • Judy's 5th wheel felt like a home away from home. This was our first time in an RV & we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It's amazing on how Judy has transformed an RV into such a beautiful cabin, fully furnished & stocked. Enjoyed our coffee and breakfast with a dose of daily news, just as we do in our home! The bed was super comfy, perfect to sleep in after a long day of touring the Glacier National park! Overall, a very good experience at the 5th wheel, definitely recommend staying here. Best, Vid & Anusha
