“The Edna Valley AVA (www.slowine.com) is located about 20 minutes away at the base of the foothills, which you can see to the south. There are tasting maps and other resources available on the website. Our favorites are Tolosa, Edna Valley, Baileyana, Saucilito Canyon and Wolff Vineyards. Of course, Paso Robles (45 minutes north – www.pasowine.com) is an amazing AVA and well worth the drive over the grade. If you go, don’t miss Daou and Turley.”
