Museum
“The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is a place of quiet reflection. This Memorial honors those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever on April 19, 1995. It encompasses the now-sacred soil where the Murrah Building once stood, as well as the surrounding area devastated during the attack. The Memorial Museum will take you on a chronological, self-guided interactive tour through the story of April 19, 1995, and the days, weeks, months and years that followed the bombing of Oklahoma City’s Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.”

Park
“One of nature's wonders, it's a must see while in Colorado Springs. We highly recommend going by bike or vintage scooter as parking is a challenge during the Summer months. You can rent a low-power scooter from Vintage Scooter Adventures which is located at The Garden of the Gods Trading Post, 324 Beckers Lane, Manitou Springs, CO. Fun times, great rates, wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend!”

Bridge
“Hanging 1,053 feet above the Arkansas River is the world's highest suspension bridge. Looking down the narrow canyon with steep granite cliffs, it is hard to imagine how this spectacular bridge was constructed in 1929 without any major accidents. Riding the aerial tram or the world's steepest incline train through the gorge offers heart-stopping excitement. A visitors center, nature center, restaurant and kiddie rides are all part of this magnificent 500-acre park. Located in Canon City, one-hour southwest of Colorado Springs.”

Garden
“Garvin Woodland Gardens is a must. We’ve been many times and will go many times again. It is a 210-acre botanical garden owned by the University of Arkansas. There is an admission fee but well worth it. The holiday light display is astonishing. If you think this is all for adults, think again ~ they have a new Children’s Adventure Garden. It is made for exploration. We have been to Garvin Woodland Gardens in all seasons and see something different every time. ”
