Virginia and Darius were excellent hosts, polite, friendly and generous. Her cousin, Liina and her boyfriend Hugo were also very welcoming. They respected my privacy and offered me their food. I would highly recommend this room to lone travellers looking for a fun experience in Amsterdam.

Great overnite stay with Virginia. She is a warm and welcoming host who I had the pleasure of spending the evening getting to know. Perfect place to to chill during a 23 hour layover between Europe and Asia.

Gina was very friendly. I got in late and had to leave early so there wasn't much chit-chat time. Overall, good communication and easy to get to--not far from Centraal Station.

I had a very good experience at this apartment. Very friendly, clean place. I was offered the kitchen, tv, as if I was at a friend's house. The only thing I might say is there was loud traffic noises but there's not much the host can do about that. Close to the center. Very solid thumbs up.

The price was very cheap comparated to the location, you are in the center amsterdam and you don't have to take any transport to visit lot of things if you only stay for few days. Gedas is really cool, he waits for us when we were really late. The only one problem was that the wifi wasn't avaible yet.

Close to Amsterdam central and dam. By walk or by tram depends on how do you want to feel the city ! And Nat is nice and there are shops and restaurants nearby.

Great location (less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest tram stop which will take you to central in around 10 minutes). Nathalie is a great host, made me feel very welcome. The kitchen has all the functionalities you may need, the bathroom is clean with modern fittings. The room is not very big but I knew that from pics already. It's great for one person. The cute backyard is a nice little bonus. Had no problems with the wi-fi. Recommended.

Easy to access from Amsterdam Centraal with the tram 4. Nice and cozy neighbourhood with cute cafe and restaurant. Room was clean and cozy and do not forget to enjoy 'petit jardin' which is connected to the room!

I had a very pleasant and seamless stay at Xuhui's place. He made the checkin and out process very easy and hassle-free. The room was also very clean and spacious. Public Transport to the city centre is also within very close walking distance, with busses coming every 10 minutes or so. Overall highly recommended! Thanks Xuhui!

It was a nice stay i Xuhui's apartment. The communication beforehand was superb, so I travelled with a good feeling to Amsterdam. Xuhui is a nicce host, he even borrowed a solid bike for me, which is a good choice in this city. The apartment was clean and easily to find, just 15 minutes by bus from the Centraal Station.

Xuhui was great. He took my booking very late in the evening and and checked me in well after 1am due to delays. Great host and Hope to visit again soon.

Convenient access (only 10-15 mins away from Centraal station when you take a bus), clean and spacious room, quite and nice neighborhood, and needless to say Xuhui was a great host who welcomed me heartwarmingly, and helped me when I had a trouble with Airbnb system. It was really satisfying stay and I would recommend this place highly :)

Ferry & Annette’s place was an excellent base for an exploration of Amsterdam. It is a comfortable (though not short) walk to the "Centrum", and there are ample public transport options. The room is like a very small studio apartment, including a private shower, and was quite comfortable. There is a touch of road noise, but not enough to cause problems, I would imagine, for anyone other than extremely light sleepers. Annette was very helpful, and couldn't have been nicer.

Ferry was an awesome host and the apartment was perfect for what we needed. It is nestled right on the docks so it is easy to go explore the city. Excellent place, I would highly recommend going again!

Extremely kind hosts who are very willing to help and give suggestions for transit, restaurants, etc. The place is about a three minute walk from the nearest bus that takes you to the main part of Amsterdam in less than 10 minutes. The furnishings in the room were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Annette was everything you would look for in a host. She promptly met us upon arrival and provided us with everything we needed. No matter what time we messaged she would respond. The apartment itself is really cosy, heating comes on in the evening though, and isn't on all day. One thing to note is that the bathroom is within the unit however the toilet is separate from the unit but right outside. This isn't a problem, just worthy of making note. Well located, close to bus and tram lines and all in all a fantastic place. Highly recommend for 2-3 people :)

Great hosts who answered any questions we had. It's perfect for 2 people but I wouldn't suggest 3 and the twin beds do not stay together if you're a couple traveling. Close to the bus stop which takes you anywhere you'd love to go (including central station). This studio space is located in front of the hosts living quarters so we were concerned about being too loud after hours. I don't think they would mind, as they seemed very low key! They are very nice people and it's a clean place to stay.

What an ideal location and great hosts! I came directly into the right mood in the modern 2-person studio with the comfortable separatable 2 person bed. Their 'backyard' Westerpark is indeed multi-functional. You can go for a walk, biking, having lunch or diner and also stepping out! 5 minutes later, you find yourself in the pleasant buzz on the unique Haarlemmerstraat, with a monumental and cozy cinema/restaurant 'The Movies' which happens to be an ideal starting point for a great canal walk. The combination of a green park and the heart of the Amsterdam City within walking reach, make their studio location an absolute must. Thanks for your great care Annette & Ferry!

Theo was friendly, helpful and obliging. He was informative about how to make the best use of our time. The house location was accurate. A good place for young folk.

First of all the communication before the stay was good. All questions have been answered. It might be good to bring your own towels but as we didn't Theo just gave some to us (without additional fee - thanks :-)). The location was easy to find and parking in front of the house was possible (not cheap but available :-)), Theo also has some tips where to park a little bit cheaper but we didn't go for it. Theo was at home and showed as around and gave some recommendations, he was a really friendly and helpful host! The price compared to all other locations - especially on the event weekend was awesome for the value. So if you are looking for a cheap good located room to sleep (shared bathroom), I can certainly recommend Theo :-) as long as you are not allergic to cats (he has two but really not disturbing at all). The room was small and did only include a bed and a nice view over the river. Toilet and bathroom are separated, clean and shared with the second room/guests. The kitchen and fridge can also be used, but we didn't. The location is great if you like some walking you can reach the inner city even without public transportation.

The room is good. The river view is quite beautiful. It's not far from the Centraal Station. It takes about 10 min by tram. And the neighborhood is quiet!
