“A true local Savannah business, Savannah Bee Company is a must visit. Though they've gotten bigger and more widely known in the past few years it's still the same little company run by Ted the beekeeper. Be sure to visit the original store on Broughton St. and be extra special sure to go in for the mead tasting!”

“Our most frequented spot, the Jinx has awesome live music, arcade games (including tabletop Ms. Pacman - enough said), good history, punk dive bar atmosphere, and all the most lovely alternative folks <3”

“While Garibaldi’s serves a full menu, its beautiful decor (gold New Orleans style tin ceilings, black leather booths, and uber-romantic mood lighting), diverse clientele and skilled and friendly bartenders make it one of our favorite places to grab a before or after dinner drink.”

“Our newest “speakeasy,” Alley Cat Lounge is actually off the alleyway behind Broughton St. and down a flight of stairs. Look for the door man and little else in way of signs to head down to one of Savannah’s favorite little cocktail bars with lots of cool ambience. ”

“Many different shops & great restaurants are all along Broughton Street. Be sure to try Leopold's Icecream for dessert- if there's a line- it moves fast & it's worth it.”

“This place always stays busy. It's quick, casual, and tasty! Just note that this place gets loud, so not the best spot for great conversation over dinner =P”

“It’s 2 am, you’ve been drinking on Congress Street, drifting in and out of The Jinx, Barrell House, City Market, and you need fat and carbs pronto to keep you going. But nothing’s open!!! Food, food you need food. NOW. Sweet Melissa’s will keep you upright...admittedly, it’s not the best ‘za in town, but when you need a late night greasy-cheesy-doughy fix Melissa’s will hit the spot. Open to 3am!!!”

“This place is great! Everything I've had is delicious, and it's a great option when you are downtown for a day and want to shop or wander through art galleries...It's also my go to for a good Belgian Waffle when I get a hankering! Parking is a pain because it's downtown, so either go during the week, Uber/Lyft, or plan a few extra minutes driving around and around to find an open spot! ”
