Sightseeing in Vienna

Palace
“Very touristy, I have to admit. But also still the most beautiful park in Vienna, my favourite place to go for a run as well or just sit down in a nice corner and read a great book. There is a very nice café really close called Café Nook.”

“Absolutely stunning, magnificent palace! The audio guide is well-designed and works perfectly. You can control your own pace and take as much time as you wish. Go for the "Grand Tour" not the "Imperial Tour" - it's only slightly more expensive but gives more to see. If you want to see the gardens, make sure you have at least an extra hour or two, since they are truly vast. Love this wonderful historic palace with ours access of gardens and sloping hills offerif views of the city. The museum is so m worth your time if you love history, asset and architecture. Our recent visit was you the Marionette puppet theater for an opera performance. Very enjoyable.”

“If you have 1/2 day extra time and want to escape the city come here. This place resembles the Habsburg family's hunting refuge and the Hermesvilla (which is basically a castle) is also where Empress Elisabeth also renowned as Sissi spent a lot of her time... In the park you can hike for several hours and meet deer and wild hogs...”
