We stayed at Trullo Edera and we had a beautiful experience. Anna welcome us in a generous way with typical products from Puglia and a cake to celebrate my birthday and my sister's graduation. The place is clean, really quiet perfect for a great holiday in the amazing Valle d'Itria. You can walk in the field nearby or decide to rest in the terrace and appreciate the beautiful surrounding. I would highly recommend this place.
Serena2012-07-03T00:00:00ZFabulous trullo! Wonderful owners- very attentive, super easy to communicate with ( Anna has perfect English, and lives next to the trullo). Amazing location in countryside/rolling hills outside Cisternino- 10 min drive. Car is essential! Two apartments in the same house- we rented the smaller one, perfect for a couple. Very spacious. Separate bedroom with double bed, great sitting room with dining table and comfy sofa. Very good kitchen- great pots and pans! Good bathroom though shower cubicle is a bit cramped, and definitely not good for very big/large people. Great water pressure. Private sitting areas in front and back- table and chairs in both. No air conditioning. Apartment can be aired out brilliantly by leaving both frontvand back doors open. Nice draft! We stayed in Aug. Cooled off nicely at night. The other, larger (2 bedroom) apartment is completely amazing: beautiful vine covered pergola with a view, lovely big kitchen, bathroom with bath, lovely garden/ patio. Area is perfect for sightseeing and beach! Anna has great restaurant recommendations! Great food market on Monday mornings in Cisternino.
Caroline2014-08-23T00:00:00ZAnna was fantastic from start to finish. She and her family made us feel welcome, invited us into their home, made reservations for us, and brought us a bottle of their family wine.....truly a memorable experience. The Trullo was very cosy and charming, and we enjoyed the daily walk down to visit the horses....We would highly recommend staying in Anna's home, and in retrospect, wished we had a couple of more days there.
Zoe2015-12-22T00:00:00ZAnna provided great directions including pictures, so we had no problems finding the Trullo. You will need a car to enjoy this area.Tonia, Anna's mom, met us at the Trullo and was very lovely and funny and made us feel right at home. We were very happy with the accomodation, very clean, well equipped, comfy beds and better than we had expected. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would totally recommend this accomodation.
Tony2016-10-12T00:00:00ZAnna was a sweet host. We felt in love with her place just from the pictures, and it looks just like the pictures in real life - very fairy tale looking and honeymoon worthy. Though the it is in the countryside, Anna got everything stocked that you would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well kept and equipped for daily cooking if you want to. You pick up the groceries in advance since we weren't sure there is a market in relative distance.
Anh2016-04-02T00:00:00ZAnna and her family are wonderful host! Anna is very sweet, kind and friendly person. she picked and dropped us to Brindisi city. she even showed us Cisternino town. House is beautiful, like a fairytale house. It is huge and very comfortable. one can relax, cook and enjoy nearby beautiful towns (cisternino..), also their farm. they have bicycle too. They left so many wonderful food items in Trullo for us. all the items from their farm and also homemade stuff like lemon jam. everything was just amazing. Hope to stay at their Trullo and meet this wonderful family again.
Nishi2016-06-10T00:00:00ZWe really loved our stay in the Trullo. What we especially loved, was the authenticity of the house and it's surroundings. But also it's great to experience the hospitality, attention and warmness of Anna and of the whole family Zizzi. The house was nicely pre-heated on our relatively cold late arrival. Fortunately there were basic supplies. The location of the Trullo is perfect for visiting cities and beach. The nearby located Osteria Sant' Anna proved to be a very good recommendation from Anna! This Trullo is a very nice and safe place, with very nice people!
John2016-11-01T00:00:00ZThis is a very special place. Great accommodation, great hospitality and in beautiful country. Visitors need to allow plenty of time to explore this fascinating region. And, if you can, to take a lesson in cooking the cuisine of Puglia!

Peter and his dog, Daisy, were fantastic hosts. He gave us a tour of the treehouse (truly magical; exactly like the photos), introduced us to the tree, and then allowed us to make ourselves at home. My girlfriend and I spent the evening admiring our view in peace, listening to the chorus of chirping birds and cicadas. Peter had wine and snacks waiting for us, which we enjoyed surrounded by twinkling christmas lights and fireflies. We look forward to visiting again!
Daniela2014-07-17T00:00:00ZThe whole experience was fantastic! Peter immediately made us feel welcome and showed us around the treehouses, which were even cooler than the pictures make them seem. It's also great to have the private entrance to the house with access to the guest bath and bedroom. The wine and snacks when we arrived and the morning coffee were a lovely touch!
Kelly2014-09-10T00:00:00ZWe spent our 39th wedding anniversary in the Treehouse. It was a magical as the pictures & written desctiptions. It was hard to believe that we were in a residential neighborhood in Atlanta. Even though it rained all weekend, we made the best of the weather and adjusted our activities. Prior to our visit, I asked Peter and Katie for resturant suggestions. Both were wonderful and easy to find. The Optimist & Lusca. The waiter at Lusca was as good as the food. We went to the Treehouse to celebrate and rest and we accomplished our goal. Thank you Peter and Katie. Rick and Susan Wyatt
Susan2015-10-05T00:00:00ZThis was our first stay with Airbnb and it was the BEST! Could not have been a more perfect setting for our honeymoon. The treehouse was full of character - an adventure yet peaceful and relaxing. This place is magical and Katie and Peter are so kind and hospitable.
Chris2015-06-10T00:00:00ZWe had a wonderful time! The place was so peaceful and quiet. The description was exactly like described and shown in the pictures. Even though we had some last minute changes, they accommodated us beautifully!
Angel2016-05-30T00:00:00ZPeter was an absolutely incredible host. From the introduction, stories, history, and passion for nature and this property, my boyfriend and I had a lovely experience at the treehouse. The decor and ambiance was serene, and the coffee and tea in the mornings was just divine. Peter was incredibly accomodating, and the treehouse provided such a sweet retreat for us. Even with temperatures dropping, we were able to use the heated mattress pad to stay quite cozy! The only thing to be aware of is the time of year -- staying in early spring, I don't think all the trees had greened as much as they must later in the season, so it wasn't necessarily as "secluded" from neighboring houses as we thought it'd be. With a few houses in sight from the treehouse, we decided to change and such in the private room Peter has in his home for guest use, just so we didn't feel too open and exposed. Still, an absolutely lovely escape we hope to return to!
Brittany2016-04-05T00:00:00ZKatie and Peter are awesome! And their treehouse is just as awesome as they are. I surprised my girlfriend for her 30th birthday with a trip to Savannah and we made a stop in Atlanta the night before just for this place. It was perfect. I little cold and rainy, but it was perfect. The heated mattress was a lifesaver. If you have a opportunity to stay in Katie and Peter's treehouse, dont pass it up!
Justin & Lyndi2014-03-08T00:00:00ZKatie and Peter were both very hospitable. This was a surprise for my husband and he was excited and shocked when we arrived. Peter took the time to give us a very detailed tour, and to point out the important do's and dont's of staying in this fabulous tree house. As nature lovers our goal was to have a great time connecting and spending quality time together for our anniversary while enjoying the beautiful world that surrounds us and that we so often miss. The setting is quiet. This year is a Cicada year and between them and the bull frog we were totally immerse in nature. The running creek, the squirrels, the birds chirping all a perfect part of this tree house ambiance. The decor is welcoming yet it is clean and inviting. We brought our record player, board games, books and we just chilled. We turned off our phones the entire time while on the tree house. We danced, we took naps, we snacked, we connected. Thank you for sharing so a fabulous and original environment with the rest of us. You have created a space that inspires more of what our world needs: peace, love, connection, simplicity and respect for nature. We will share your gift we everyone we know. Thank you for helping us share our 18th wedding anniversary in perfect harmony. Rosa & Steven

Absolutely incredible!! Very accommodating as well. Airstream had everything we needed!
Brooke2016-06-15T00:00:00ZChristian was super helpful and easy to get in touch with. Super magical place with the most amazing views. HIGHLY recommend!!!
vanessa2015-10-30T00:00:00ZHad a great stay at Rani's airstream. Make sure you read all the instructions! Because I did not and was lost on a mountain for an hour with no service. Do not use Waze, only (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps. I also wouldn't drive here late at night, with all the rain California has got it made driving pretty scary. The drive is not for the faint of heart, or maybe I'm just a wuss. The place is absolutely breathtaking. If you're trying to escape, this is the place to go!
Kate2017-02-27T00:00:00ZOur stay here was amazing. The $$$ was definitely worth it once you see it in-person. Once in a lifetime views of the sunset and stars. A few things we did right: 1. Got up to the Airstream before the sun started going down. Would be hard to find otherwise. 2. Brought a very easy to make dinner, snacks, and a lot of water. 3. Enjoyed our time listening to music with a speaker I brought, reading, hanging out with the neighbors dog (who we called Charlie only because we didn't know it's name) and looking at the stars. Few things to note: 1. Only follow (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps to get to the road- but follow her instructions closely. 2. We drove up in a Chevy Volt (not the best off-reading vehicle). We got up there- but would have been easier in an SUV. 3. Remember your way up the mountain- because we took the wrong way down and it wasn't good for the car- or the other person who caught us going the wrong way and had to back-up on a mountain. The stay was great and we will definitely do it again!
Kyle2016-10-01T00:00:00ZIts awesome place to stay!Amazing view and cozy room.!!But we choose tha bad weather (so cool) ,and it don't have hot water to take shower,so we give up that part. Also the way to the house is little bit hard, because it is on the hill. Anyway,it is good experience!
Cora2015-11-28T00:00:00ZWhat a wonderful night!! I will be back soon! Can't describe that in words.
Aileen2016-02-23T00:00:00ZPlace was exactly how others reviewed it, Spectacular! pictures don't do it justice.
Bobby2017-02-16T00:00:00ZIt's hard to describe just how incredible this accommodation and it's setting is. Stunningly beautiful, peaceful, with a cool modern design twist. Yes, the facilities are basic but they're all that you need, and the shower and toilet have the best view you could imagine! Do be aware that at least a third of the drive up is on a narrow twisty dirt road which can be bumpy in parts. We were in a modern Mustang and managed fine. (But got dusty!) - it would be an idea to bring everything you need with you, as you may want to reduce the amount of times you drive up and down this road. A simply unforgettable weekend!!

We, a family of 4, had the best vacation there. It was a full experience of nature, culture, and relaxation. The location of the house made this possible. It is a short distance away from town but sits on a cliff covered with tropical greenery. The house itself is a unique work of art done with impressive craftsmanship. The staff is super friendly and helpful when needed. We can't wait to go back to this green village to try other bamboo houses.
yuwen2014-04-22T00:00:00ZAs soon as we arrived at Green village, we were welcomed by Maggie (Villa Manager) and her staff. They gave us a quick tour of the house and showed us where things were. They were very nice and professional. The following day Eva (Guests Relation) asked us how our experience staying at the Bamboo House so far and told us she was there to help should we encounter any problem. The following morning, Eva and Mirna guided us to a two hour walk in the neighborhood going through the woods, rice paddy, along the river and SUBAK which is the water management (irrigation) system for paddy fields on Bali island, Indonesia. Almost at the end of our walk we stopped by a local food seller and bought ripe papaya and delicious mangoes(URL HIDDEN) We call our experience staying at the Bamboo House as : 'GLAMPING" or Glamorous Camping. The reason is because the whole house is open to nature with no windows. There was no doors to all bathrooms except one toilet on the living room area. We experienced bats flying over us while we took a shower. Neighborhood cats would come to sleep on our beds uninvited. At night my husband saw a big gecko over the mosquito net. This was quite an experience to stay as close to nature as we could without actually pitching a tent ourselves. Instead we stayed in a " Huge three storey tent" called Bamboo House. At the same time, we could order delicious meal (western style or Balinese style) from their onsite restaurant and delivered to our unit anytime. That's why we call this place as Glamorous Camping.
Lily2015-10-13T00:00:00ZGreen Village is a stunning, unique place to stay - amazing views from within the house over the valley, and the house itself is spectacular and very comfortable. Fantastic to see a different side of Bali, well away from the crowds of the coast. If you get chance to stay here - do!
Mark2015-06-16T00:00:00ZThis place is one of a kind. It's very secluded, quiet and relaxing. Upon arrival, the management team arranged transportation from the airport to the Green Village which was quite appreciated as the place is hard to find. We were taken away by the architecture of the house and the whole village as well. Almost every bit is made out of bamboo. Since it's situated in the middle of a forest, we saw few unharmful insects and birds inside, but this was expected and we did not mind it. They seem to go back to the forest after midnight. Staying in Green Village was defiantly the highlight of our Indonesia trip. It's not a mere accommodation, but a unique experience that I will definitely repeat if I go to Bali again. Highly recommended.
Hayder2016-09-13T00:00:00ZThis is a super unique property and experience. Absolutely stunning home and surroundings. This is definitely off the beaten path and a great way to spend some time in the middle of island. With the open air environment, there is not a whole lot of privacy, but that didn't bother us at all! Also, can be hot at night and at mid-day, but you get used to it! And that is what pools are for. The staff at Green Village are extremely responsive and professional. The food was excellent as well and reasonably priced. We also built a Jegog, a traditional Balinese musical instrument- very interesting if you are interested in bamboo or music, or both.
Nik2015-02-19T00:00:00ZThis is such an amazing space to retreat from life. It is quiet, lush, peaceful, spacious and very comfortable. I would liken it to spending the night in a luxury tree house, with open aired living areas and bedrooms. We were amazed at the volume of the home, which makes it a wonderful place to share with friends and family. Eva, the manager of the Green Village, was incredibly welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for local activities and transport. I would highly recommend the bamboo factory tour and the tour of the Green School. Both are an inspiration to the possibilities of this unique and artistic building material as well as what you are able to do with a dream. A truly memorable experience.
Rebecca and Matt2014-01-25T00:00:00ZI have been traveling abroad for a while and stayed in many unique spots, but this bamboo house really takes the cake! It really is stunning and I will always remember my stay here.
Peter2016-02-02T00:00:00ZThe bamboo house was above all our expectations (2 families with teenagers) for a number of reasons 1. The wonderful Eva - she really did everything she could to make our visit fantastic. She smiled as we dithered at the range of options (and then we'd change our minds) and then organised everything. Eva even made sure we all got to the chocolate factory on time by picking up our slower walkers on her scooter. 2. The house - it really does look like the photos. Sleeping in comfy beds, safely protected by large mosquito nets and listening to the river rush by below - such bliss. Making omelettes and fruit juices for breakfast and sitting at the table overlooking the valley - such bliss. Sitting in the pool in the evening with fireflies around the bushes - such bliss. 3. Everyone's pride in and enthusiasm for the houses - from the designers and their models, through to Patrick and his builders turning the dreams into reality through to those who took us through the houses. 4. The walking tour - across the bamboo bridge with the river rushing below, up through the 5-storey house ohhing and ahhing at everything, down the quiet road to the Bamboo Factory and meeting Patrick to hear about the process and then to the Chocolate Factory and salivating over the smell of cacao. The Green Village is 1/2 hour from Ubud. Our piece of advice would be to go as many different ways as possible - from the south, west and north - as each is scenic in its own way and gets you to a different part of Ubud.

Yudy and her family/friends were a delight. Just as described/depicted in the profile. The place is even more beautiful in person as you're located in the middle of a 'tropical farm' with an incredible view of the mountains. They were so friendly to accommodate in all ways, including picking us up from the airport, making breakfast and dinner, and recommending a great tour for the full day that my girlfriend and I were there. Best stop by far in our 12 days in Colombia. We'll be back!
Chris2015-05-26T00:00:00ZWe had a PERFECT stay at Yudy and Victoia's place! The cabana was great! And we slept so nice with birds singing in the morning! It's a place you really relax and it's just beautiful. We went on a coffee-tour with "Wakecup", Yudy booked it for us. It was a perfect day, and I would def. recomand that guide and tour! The breakfast was great! We also had dinner both days, I would recomand that ass well. Yudy is a good cook! If you're staying some place in the zona cafetera, this is the place!!
Turid2015-10-20T00:00:00Zthere are no words to describe the place it is incredible !!!! MAGIC PLACE !! very unique !!! and yudi and natalia were very lovely persons very very helpful and with good advice and the food .. mmmmhhhh !!! perfect also !!! we will never forget our week in this place ! THANK YOU Yudi and Natalia !!!!!
theodora2015-06-27T00:00:00ZIt was wonderful, simply perfect. They turned my parents stay into a unique and unforgettable experience.
Lukas2016-05-18T00:00:00ZThis place is incredible. It's a beautiful place in a beautiful location. Yudy is a fantastic hostess and cooks an amazing breakfast. The cabaña is really well looked after and has all the amenities required. The outdoor shower was great to! The only regret we have is not being able to stay any longer.
Emma2016-06-14T00:00:00ZI loved this place so much that I booked a couple days for my mom and my sister. Yudy, as always, was extremely helpful and welcoming. My mom and my sister had a wonderful time. They drove all the way from Bogota and had no trouble at all finding the finca. Yudy arranged their itinerary and they got to visit different towns and attend different shows. Yudy even took my mom shopping on their last day and got the best deals for her. I will definitely be back to the Cabana soon!
Diego Esteban2016-01-08T00:00:00ZExcellent experience all around! Beautiful place, great people, incredible property and great side trips to do...couldn't ask for more! Highly recommend. Yudy (your host) is amazing!
Craig2015-07-07T00:00:00ZWow! Our stay was nothing short of incredible. We arrived seamlessly via arranged pick-up in Armenia, which was a great option. That same day we took the coffee tour recommended by Victoria, which I highly recommend. The setting of the cabana could not be more perfect. We were comfortable the whole time, save for a few run-ins with bugs that were attracted to our lights. The outdoor shower was definitely a highlight and something I never expected I'd enjoy so much. We also did the zip-lining, bee tour, and got a massage, all of which were great. Our experience truly was incredible. This is a beautiful place with tons of things to do and explore. Definitely one of the best AirBnB experiences I've ever have, and really ever plan to have. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for creating such a magical space. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Joshua tree house and hope to be back one day. The bed and hot tub was especially lovely! And drawing on the porch at sun rise... listening to Sinatra... pure magic!
Dawn And Darren2017-01-04T00:00:00ZHad an amazing time at The Joshua Tree House, it was above and beyond what I expected. The house atmosphere was light and very relaxing. We had a fire, listened to records and soaked in the hot tub under the stars. Sara & Rich were wonderful hosts and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely return again.
Bettina2016-02-24T00:00:00ZWe could not have felt more at home during our stay at the Joshua Tree House! Rich and Sara are two amazingly creative individuals who have built an inspiring and relaxing getaway experience. Going into descriptive details would spoil the surprise, but here is a list of reasons why were coming back: Cozy fire place, amazing hot tub, beautiful sunrise/sunset, comfortable bed, great location, and so many thoughtful details! Thank you for making a home away from home for all to enjoy! We will most certainly be back.
david2015-12-16T00:00:00ZJoshua Tree is simply magical and the JT House is the perfect home to enjoy it. Sunrises on the porch, star gazing in the spa, and a cozy fire in a beautifully decorated space. I'd definitely come back.
Carollyn2016-10-17T00:00:00ZThe home was darling! Sara responded to questions immediately, which was much appreciated. All recommendations were worthwhile. Only note: if airborne allergens are tough on you, the desert dust won't be your friend. It's everywhere. Just be prepared because it's apart of the experience.
Johari2016-10-28T00:00:00ZCynthia was such a great host! She was very helpful and made us feel at home. The house is a real get-away and it definitely provided a great desert experience as opposed to staying in a hotel. It was quirky with fun decor and Cynthia planned everything to the last detail - including our iced moon teas and peppermint shampoo. She even hand drew maps for us for places to go. She was not there most of the time, so we had the place to ourselves a lot. The location is great because you can walk or take a short drive to all the restaurants near by (which are all local and amazing!). Joshua tree park is also a short drive away. Despite going there in the middle of the Summer in the heat, it was truly a magical time, and the heat adds to the desert experience of it all. So I would say, take a trip there in the Summer too! Did I mention, there's a beautiful clean jacuzzi with powerful massage jets? Check that out too! I highly recommend staying here if you are staying in Joshua Tree.
Mai2011-08-17T00:00:00ZThe Joshua Tree House is a perfect place to experience the beauty of the desert. The home has wonderful views of the property, surrounding desert, and sunrises and sunsets. The hosts were great to work with and the home had all we needed to make it a wonderful and magical stay. One of our best Airbnb experiences for sure.
George2016-09-04T00:00:00ZThe Joshua Tree House is a magical dream space. We loved everything about our stay and are already looking forward to returning with friends. Thank you for creating and sharing this special place.

The lovely cob cottage is providing us with a taste of simplicity and character. The fresh eggs, granola, milk and fab banana bread has been a real treat since our arrival. The farm setting is calm & quiet & the animals all around give it a real farm feel. Home itself has everything u could ever need to make this a comfortable stay. Thanks so much :) what a lovely spot.
Laurel 2016-07-12T00:00:00ZAlexis and Manny were wonderful hosts. We felt right at home in the cob cottage and even though it rained most of our stay we got to be cozy and sit by the fire inside. The cottage is beautifully constructed and feels like you are living inside a sculpture (which it is). We had a nice walk to the grocery store and came back and cooked dinner. The cottage is stocked with everything you need to cook with and plenty of books to dive into. Hanging out with the sheep was also a highlight. All in all, we hope to be back!
Shelby2015-11-07T00:00:00ZIm actually not very sure if I want to leave a review since Im being very greedy about this place and prefer not to let anyone know about how amazing, beautiful, peaceful and special this place is so I can be able to book it for myself anytime I want! but here's my review:) Doesn't matter how many times you look at the photos before you go, you still won't know what is waiting for you and you'd be totally surprised by the character of this fabulous place and the lovely owner's hospitality. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, they have thought about anything you may need and they have put it there for you use. Overall you will be living a dream at Alexis and Manny's cottage.
Sahra2013-12-23T00:00:00ZFrom the eggs, milk and butter in the fridge, to the banana cake on the kitchen counter, it was these little details that accentuated the whole cob experience. Sitting next to the fire in the evening, I have never see my wife look so content. Thank you for inspiring us.
Ankit2016-04-29T00:00:00ZWonderful place. And Alexis and Manny were so helpful, communicative, and thoughtful!
Julie2016-08-22T00:00:00ZWe were heartedly welcomed to the Cob by Alexis, met her twin boys and found a lovely banana loaf on the counter. We had a quiet and enjoyable few days relaxing, reading and exploring Mayne island.
Aaron & Gail2015-04-20T00:00:00ZAn excellent experience. This is a location I will return to. Whilst I did not see my host after initial check in, the friendly sheep and chickens did stop by to pay their respects and pose for photos. The freshly baked nut loaf, goat's milk and free range chicken eggs were well appreciated. I highly recommend staying at this very unique abode.
Jonathan2017-03-15T00:00:00ZAlexis welcomed us warmly and it was a delight to enjoy the beauty of the little cob house. We enjoyed the attention to detail, the cleanliness, and ease the space the allowed. It was truly one of the best airbnb's I've experienced. The sheep were a bonus. And really appreciated that Alexis made us a loaf of sweet bread, still warm on the table when we got in. A well stocked kitchen (fresh eggs, milk, organic cereals, and tea) just added to the pleasure. Looking forward to the possibility of being there again.

My fiance and I are new to AirBnb and thought we would try to stay in one of the more unique places we could find while visiting California. The mushroom dome was absolutely wonderful. Kitty is truly a superhost. She gave us a tour of her property and we got to meet her cute dogs. The "Hummingbird Airport" is a must see. The cabin itself is private, quiet and has everything you'd need for a stay in the woods. Our only regret is that we only booked the cabin for one night. We will certainly be back and will recommend this rental to our friends.
Jared2015-04-27T00:00:00ZWe had a woderful time the host was so sweet and there was a lot to do around the property the only improvement we would suggest is a softer bed
Emma2014-10-27T00:00:00ZThis Property has absolutely lived up to it’s reputation of being a #1 rated property on Airbnb.. in fact it has far exceeded my expectations as I’m certain it will yours! I can now say, after having the distinction of staying there for longer than anyone else has, that I completely understand why this place is so popular! It is probably the most unique place I have ever stayed! The first thing I immediately loved was the long drive on the narrow driveway through the tunnel of trees! There is something so mysterious about not being able to see where you’re staying until you’re almost on top of it! This Mushroom Dome Cabin sits right within a grove of redwood trees which is on more than 72 acres of land. I love the way this place was designed! From the loft bed, you can see outside day or night! The cabin is actually so much better than it looks in any of the pictures! There is even a meditation room on the property! The property is home to many different animals and hosts an impressive array of hummingbirds that are beyond beautiful ! Remember to bring your camera ! Kitty graciously went out of her way to show me around and it didn't take me long to realize this place wasn't just beautiful , it was truly spiritual as well . What good would the ultimate spiritual retreat be without the ultimate spiritual hosts? If a Sunday happens to fall within your stay you may get an opportunity to do a meditation with Michael and Kitty and a whole lot more- but I won’t spoil it all for you, you just have to get here to see how incredible this place really is! Please make sure you get a chance to talk to both of these amazing people! I really can't say enough about this place. Magical is the closest I can get to describing it ! There are so many things to do and places to see that are free or very inexpensive in this area. You may want to consider staying a little longer to make sure you don't run out of time to see and do it all ! Seacliff Park at sunset is a must! Not only is this place rated number one on Airbnb, but it is featured everywhere, House Crazy, Tiny House Blog, Pinterest, Relaxshacks, Grist; the list goes on and on . I’m honored to be able to write this review for the one and only Mushroom Dome Cabin. Everything was amazing and I can’t wait to return again .
kissimmee2015-02-13T00:00:00ZVery kind and accommodating. A great guide as well for exploring the area
Nataj2015-10-30T00:00:00ZMy mother and I stayed in the mushroom dome one night in the middle of a long west coast road trip and it was one of our most memorable stops! Kitty provides specific directions in getting to the property that are very helpful (would not suggest arriving after dark!) and also specific instructions and rules for the cabin. she was there to greet us upon arrival and took the time to show us around the cabin and the property as well as give us a little interesting history on how it came to be! She also showed us to their main house where they feed hummingbirds and you can watch so many at once - it was very cool! The plumbing system and other parts of the cabin were out of our comfort zone but easy to use. There is also no cell service or wifi in the cabin but we had fun with some games music and a decent movie collection! In the morning we went back to see the hummingbirds and also checked out the roosters. The cabin and the property are so unique and the host is very friendly and accomodating! Would suggest for anyone to experience it themselves!
Maggie2015-09-07T00:00:00ZKitty was a phenomenally generous host and the Dome was everything we had hoped for. She met us as the sun was setting on the beautiful ridgeline where the property is situated. She showed us the wonderful features of the property and told us many tales of creativity that have happened there. We spent a gorgeous night dreaming and channeling creativity ourselves, then woke up and took a beautiful hike right out the front door. Another inspired and satisfied guest of this very special spot.
Alex2014-10-28T00:00:00ZWhat an absolutely lovely spot. A great balance of coziness and a bit rugged. Kitty & Michael were incredibly warm & welcoming and the place is quite close to some incredible hiking.
Zachary2010-03-14T00:00:00ZThis was an excellent experience. If you want to do something different, get away from it all, especially the Bay Area/Silicon Valley, consider staying in the Mushroom Dome in Aptos. My wife and I arrived on a Friday evening - be warned, if you arrive in the evening you might have trouble finding the cabin if it is after dark. However, we fumbled our way up the hill and met Cole, the manager on duty, who was returning from practice as an acrobat/dancer. We knew we were in for something special after we met someone with such a unique passion, and we weren't disappointed. She led us to the cabin, which was just down a romantically lit path and noted the presence of a playground slide as an alternate route. The cabin was small and charming, giving a feeling of peace and simplicity when inside. Downstairs is a small kitchen with everything you need to make a quick meal and a few food items to help you on your way. The decor is charming and unique, clearly seeking to provide a feeling of harmony and rest for the traveller. Aptos is also a unique area with small shops and a very obvious local culture. It is close to Santa Cruz and there is always the coastal drive along Highway 1. We went berry picking at Swanton Berry Farm and collected 4 flats of strawberries and blackberries. The smell of the strawberry field is sweet and caught the wind in such a way that I just wanted to breathe deeply and enjoy the setting. We also visited Wilder Ranch State Park and hiked along the coast, taking in cliffside views and an walking through an old farmhouse. Finally, we met Kitty and Michael. Their hospitality is unparalleled. You will never see Bjork's music video for Wanderlust in 3D unless you visit her cabin - her son made the video! She has an ark's-worth of animals, three goats including a baby, chickens, talking/singing parrots and an array of birdfeeders that service eighty or so local and migratory hummingbirds. There is a reason this place is so well loved on Airbnb. We had an amazing weekend, unlike any trip before. We give it our highest recommendation. You will love staying here!

Rachel was thorough and great with communication! The cabin was wonderful and exactly as pictured. We cooked an entire dinner and we felt really accommodated with the kitchen. Had a great night's sleep and as others mentioned, had a great time listening to records!
anna 2014-11-10T00:00:00ZI booked this cabin for my boyfriend's birthday and it was the perfect getaway! It is so cozy and SO adorable--we truly didn't want to leave. Rachel has a great book collection and a fantastic vinyl collection. We loved being able to eat lunch out on the back deck while listening to some vinyl. Even though the space is relatively small, the kitchen is nice and big which was ideal for cooking. My boyfriend and I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend his birthday and hope to come back again in the future. Thanks Rachel!
Angeline2016-03-17T00:00:00ZThis place is so amazing, I'm hesitant to share for fear of it always being booked! Really, it's beautiful. The location is incredible, the house is very cute, it's decorated exactly how an A-frame cabin should be. I love this place! And Rachel is a fantastic host. We are so thankful for her hospitality and hope to return soon.
Mike2017-03-03T00:00:00ZDo yourself a favor: Wind your way through the endless lanes of slippery tree and grass that is a certain Northern California. Then ride a wave of relaxation within the cozy wooden shores of this A frame getaway. We dined in. The kitchen being a wonderfully micro, useable thing in and of itself, was a joy to use. We built warm wooden fires. We read Adler, Didion and Faulkner to each other from the magically well curated collections lining every shelf. We finished poems and letters lazily as rain drops patted about the roof. We napped and slept in the heaven of its rafters; waking to the lifting fog and sunshine that is new day. And when we left, we walked along rivers and into the endless wonders of its surrounding country(URL HIDDEN)
Jason2017-01-02T00:00:00ZThis cabin was a treat to stay in for a weekend away from the city. From the bedroom, to the back deck, to the solid record collection - this place is completely charming! Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a dreamy cabin in a beautiful part of California.
Katherine2015-06-14T00:00:00ZThis was my first time using the site and I did not know what to expect...after it was all said and done though, I give the experience (and Rachel) a 10 out of 10. The cabin is incredible. Once you step into the doors of the old wooden A-Frame, you are transported into a bright, exciting world full of warm colors and vintage knickknacks. Rachel took a lot of thought and energy when transplanting some Bay Area personality into this otherwise unassuming cabin in the woods. No complains whatsoever. My girlfriend and I have a great time, and I highly recommend!
Matthew2014-09-20T00:00:00ZThis was our second stay here, that is how much we love this cabin! Rachel is a wonderful host. Her communication is the best I have experienced with all of my air bnb stays. We look forward to when we can come back again!
Bec2016-11-03T00:00:00ZWe had a lovely time at Rachel's cabin! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to escape or relax for a few days. It was one of my favourite places during our 2 week trip in California. Communication with Rachel was easy and quick and we would love to come stay again when we're back in the country.

This hobbit hole is so relaxing and magical! It was so wonderful to hygge for two days, get away from it all and unplug! The home is cozy and quaint and perfect for all hobbits! We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back and check out Chelan, WA as well!
Kathrine2017-03-23T00:00:00ZWe enjoyed our stay in the hobbit hole very much! We had fun looking at all the details and loved the novelty of it. Now is the time to visit while it's the only hobbit hole on the hill. The quiet patio and view was so peaceful and restorative. I wish I had brought a small fan or that there were operable windows for at night; I was too hot at night. In the afternoon/evening, I was perfectly comfortable inside and outdoors despite the chelan forecast being near 90. Our Toyota yaris was not made for the trek, but in dry daylight driving we survived just fine. Very clean. Smelled like cedar or something nice and natural.
Erica2016-08-07T00:00:00ZThis place was everything we imagined it would be. My husband and I loved every single second. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Jessica2016-10-02T00:00:00ZThis place is AMAZING and so special and unique. The Hobbit Hole is very well crafted and beautifully done. I was extremely impressed with the details that Kristie put into crafting this tiny home! It is an awesome place to relax, great for a couples retreat. The view is incredible and everything is themed to really make you feel like you're a kid playing pretend again. The surrounding area is also very pretty to hike/walk around - had to break out into song while running around the hills. We had a lot of fun with the Table Topics game that was at the place as well. Kristie is SUPER responsive and made sure that we were prepared for this unique experience. We brought a cooler and camp stove for food since its a bit isolated from town. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and it was cooler/windier here than in Chelan, so make sure to bring some warm clothes if you are going to be outside in the evening for star gazing or sunset dinner. We used the app Waze to get there and it was fine up until the last turn where it took us off to a more primitive road than we needed to use to get there, but easy enough to figure out we should have just kept going on the main road. Overall the Hobbit Hole was a very enjoyable weekend and we want to go back!!
Lillian2016-05-31T00:00:00ZThis was the perfect way to experience eastern WA for the first time. The drive up the mountains was fun and was a great way to start the adventure. The hobbit hole was charming and commanded a great view over the Columbia river and the hills. Fantastic sight first thing in the morning. We loved watching the stars at night and then crashing in the hole. We whittled with the blocks of wood they provided and played chest. During the day we enjoyed Lake Chelan and then looked forward to re-experiencing our secret get-away. We will be back for sure.
Dan2016-08-24T00:00:00ZKristie is a creative genius! This home was everything I imagined and more. Closer to home than New Zealand, but just as magical. The attention to detail, cute surprises, and treats and hot cocoa bar were icing on the cake. Thank you for the hospitality and opening your doors to fellow hobbits!
Charlese2016-10-07T00:00:00ZWhimsical, cozy, straight from a storybook - the perfect place to spend time in a winter wonderland!! As beautiful and intricately detailed as the hobbit hole looks in the photos, I promise that the craftsmanship and quality is even more stunning in person! We went in December when everything was covered in snow. The drive up the winding road was doable, but I definitely felt more comfortable doing it in four-wheel drive. The drain had frozen and the pipes froze our second day, but Kristie was amazingly helpful and considerate - doing everything she could to fix it and offering us some reimbursement when the the anti-drain-freezing product didn't arrive in time! I only mention this to emphasize how wonderfully attentive Kristie's service was! Also, I highly recommend the provided Yaktrax for getting up the hill - we were wearing heavy duty snow boots, but the Yaktrax still made the hike much easier. Our experience at The Hobbit Inn was sweetly magical. It was lovely to be away from the daily grind, taking a much-needed break from the frustrations and temptations of all things internet, and instead leading simple, deeply satisfying days whittling and playing chess and talking and reading by the fire. I can't wait to go back!
Lindsey2016-12-15T00:00:00ZThe Hobbit Inn is a magical experience! Every square inch of the hobbit hole is uniquely crafted and thought out. The fire kept us warm and toasty despite temps of 7-15 degrees outside. We enjoyed the provided reading materials and games. There is a chess table and "question cards" to keep you entertained. We loved being off the grid - we did not have cell phone service or a television! It's nice to check out sometimes. We used our winter getaway to try out our new snowshoes and sleds. The area is simply breathtaking! We would highly reccommend a stay here! Our only negative was frozen pipes (which we were told about in advance- and received a discount as we elected not to re book for a different date). The toilet was not usable despite following the recommended advice for pouring water in the bowl to "flush it"! We were not provided enough water (or information) for the bathroom situation. With that being said - go stay here and get lost in the magical world of the hobbit inn! You won't regret it!

Tara2015-07-10T00:00:00ZSimon & Wendy's home is a fantastic getaway. It was affordable, easy to find and more incredible than we imagined. The castle is quite small which makes it feel cozy and magestic at the same time. The dinners with everyone also encouraged guests to be friendly which I thought was wonderful. It's a fantastic place and I will certainly be coming again.

This was the best airbnb experience I've ever had. This house is special. From the view to the gorgeous design of the property--you feel like you're in a dream.
Carolyn 2016-10-03T00:00:00ZNot only is this an amazing house, but it's an amazing location. You have to drive a few miles up a dirt road to make sure you're completely off the grid. No cell service, no internet, no outside world (except for the real outside world). We spent our time enjoying the fire, playing old-fashioned word-games and drinking wine. Can't imagine a better place to spend a weekend. One day, I hope to build my very own itHouse somewhere half as amazing as Joshua Tree.
Christopher2014-02-03T00:00:00ZBeing that often on the front site of airbnb is great but Linda deserves it. The off grid it-House is an architectural masterpiece. Delightful embedded in the stunning nature. The house is furnished in the best of taste. It’s a fantastic hideaway unfortunately several thousands miles away from me – otherwise I would love to be back again as soon as possible. Linda was very helpful concerning all issues and instructions are clear. The house is easy to find – bring your books along, lay back and relax.
Dominik2013-05-10T00:00:00ZA pleasure and an experience, I spent two nights at this place solo and enjoyed every minute. The house is thoughtfully designed and constructed, but the real winner here is the desert landscape and the wildlife it contains. The house manages to capture the passing parade with floor-to-ceiling glass acting as an enclosed viewing platform. Expect jackrabbits, squirrels and lizards. If you're lucky coyotes, bobcats and rattlesnakes. I particularly enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, the quiet solitude agreeing with my nature. I'm sure this place doesn't need my endorsement as it appears to be very popular. If you're hesitating, take the chance. It's worth every cent.
Mike2016-10-06T00:00:00ZUnsurpassed: The location, the house, the experience. Thank you Linda, for welcoming us to your desert paradise. After a coastal drive and some bustling urban adventures, the itHouse was the perfect off-grid escape and end to our honeymoon. The house was as described. It was impeccably clean, there was a great little book collection and a very comfortable bed. The house manual is very clear and straightforward. All we had to do was show up with our favourite food and drink and watch the sun and moon rise and set. We would love to visit again someday.
Kelly2016-12-14T00:00:00ZThe most amazing place I've stayed in my life. The setting is phenomenal, you feel like you're sleeping outside with the expansive views from the bedroom. The fire orb was super clutch to generate warmth in the evening. Outside fireplace was a nice touch you don't necessarily pick up on from the listing. Linda's instructions were very detailed and helpful in terms of gaining access to the property and information regarding how to make the sustainable solar energy source last throughout a cloudy evening. Top shelf, 10 star experience. Do it.
Brian2016-01-25T00:00:00ZThis was my second time at the Off-grid itHouse and my first time staying there - it was a wonderful visit. The house is beautiful, well stocked, and has spectacular views. Occasionally somebody drives up the road, but other than that you have the feeling of being out in the middle of nowhere. Being in a glass house at night in the middle of nothing can get a little scary - but that makes it even more fun. Don't plan on doing anything but reading, writing, and watching the sun, moon, and stars. Not sure why you would want to do much else. Note: The dirt road is really bumpy and you don't need an SUV to get out there, but you will definitely be more comfortable if you have one.
Blaise2013-03-30T00:00:00ZAs a couple we shared such a magical weekend stay. Every aspect of this house down to the tiniest detail was perfect. We almost want to keep it a secret! Will definitely be planning many more stays in future. Joshua Tree itself was an unforgettable experience. Be sure to plan a few days for the National Park! Cannot stress being mindful about the water and power for future guests, be aware that usage is limited so plan accordingly. Also there didn't seem to be a freezer so stick to bringing/ buying refrigerated goods. In colder months bring plenty of firewood for the indoor and outdoor fireplaces to enjoy the beauty surrounding the house. Looking forward to returning!

A beautiful flat with an outstanding view of Akureyri and the surrounding area. The location was perfect for day excursions which included hiking (Lake Myvatn), thermal baths (Jarobodin Nature Baths), whale watching (Husavik), waterfalls and kayaking in the fjord. The flat was clean and well-maintained with all common necessities for cooking and clean up provided. Inga Mirra was a perfect host and responded quickly to all inquiries. We highly recommend this rental!
Ryan2013-06-30T00:00:00ZAmazing place. Absolutely incredible and memorable!
Ajay 2015-06-14T00:00:00Zgreat house with great sight. can see the city from the other side of the ocean perfectly. However,in winter, too much snow around there so it's a little hard to get there.
骐2016-01-30T00:00:00ZInga's apartment is clean and cosy. The kitchen is basic but functional. The bed upstairs is soft and comfortable. We enjoy sitting by the bay window and read. There are a few dvds above the TV but unfortunately the TV does not seem to work for us.
Gerlynn2015-09-28T00:00:00ZThe best experience in iceland!!! Designer dream home.
Ho-Cheung2015-12-22T00:00:00ZThe location is amazing and beautiful, across the fjord from the town. Make sure you contact the host before you arrive, as the house can be tricky to find. The stairs are a bit bendy, but the place is clean and quiet.
Jill2016-09-21T00:00:00ZBeautifully designed property, loved the seating area and big windows. The view from the apartment was stunning! Property is hard to find at night and the road is not on GPS maps. Kitchen doesn't have a kettle which was unusual. Wifi went down on our second night but Petur was responsive and let us use a hotspot for wifi.
Natalie2017-02-05T00:00:00ZThis was such a great spot! House was just as described and just a 5 minute drive from downtown. We especially enjoyed the movie collection and watched "Midnight in Paris". Thanks for sharing your home.

Gorgeous location, the treehouse is magnificent, and incredibly kind and accommodating hosts, so glad I chose to stay here.
Grace2015-07-31T00:00:00ZWe had an absolutely unforgettable experience at casa Barthel. It is absolutely beautiful, so so comfortable and all the amenities have been considered. Fresh pastries were delivered at our room every morning, and Elena and her mother were so knowledgeable about the local area. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!
Brooke2016-09-02T00:00:00ZWe had an amazing stay at the treehouse! The whole place Is Just dreamy and amazing. Elena is very relaxed and helping and gave a poster to us which did by herself . We can recommend this place to everyone that will visit Florence.
ma2016-12-27T00:00:00ZAmazing place, just like the pictures. The property was beautiful. It's at least 20 minutes from the city, and we regretted taking the advice of another Airbnb reviewer who said a rental car was unnecessary. The price of a car rental is about equal to a cab ride to and from the place to downtown Florence, so if I stayed here again, I'd definitely rent a car.
Tony2015-08-23T00:00:00ZElena is a super host. Very chilled lady but also is a very strong astute woman. We felt totally at ease around her and her grounds. We had trouble getting to the house just because of traffic and road works and elena kindly offered to pick us up from the bottom of the hill nearby. We really appreciated this. The tree house OUT OF THIS WORLD
Lindsay2015-06-19T00:00:00ZThe tree house was great, we stayed there for days and loved it! Florence is just 15m away, Chianti is just 30m away, Pisa is an hour away. The place is very nicely located. The view is spectacular, and casa Barthel is private, intimate, and safe.
Brandon2017-03-11T00:00:00ZThe treehouse and the property were beautiful. Wifi is not very good. It is close to the city but feels away from it all. You can hear some traffic noise but it is still secluded. It is a great place to stay!
Julia2016-10-20T00:00:00ZThe Treehouse is a magnificent place to stay in the Florence area. Elena and the Barthel family have a wonderful property, with the most amazing vistas of Florence and the surrounding countryside. Denise and her husband are very kind! They greeted us, made us feel at home, then left us to enjoy the place. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable!
Christian2016-12-30T00:00:00ZDenise was wonderful and the place was magical. Clean, comfortable, and everything you needed. I highly recommend staying here.
Kevin2013-10-15T00:00:00ZWe were contacted almost immediately by Denise when requesting a reservation. She also kept in touch with us as our stay got closer. The silo cottage was just as described and we hope to stay again.
Jeff2016-05-18T00:00:00ZNothing short of amazing, if you're looking for a place to escape the daily grind, this place is it. Secluded, but close enough to quaint downtown areas and great museums. It's surely a unique property, and the only thing that rivals the greatness of this cottage is the hosts - they're top notch.
Marta2017-04-09T00:00:00ZDenise was amazing and her grounds were unreal. Our stay at the silo was nothing short of a fairytale and I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience was. Denise could not have been sweeter and I would recommend this little getaway to anybody
Erin2016-06-06T00:00:00ZEver wanted to know what it's like to be in a real life fairy tale? Stantarella Estates is the place. This place is magical, the grounds are exquisite and pristine. A babbling brook runs behind the Silo where we stayed which is all you hear other than the birds. Denise and her husband were wonderful, giving us a tour of the property and being helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. The silo is something out of a dream, warm, cozy but with modern amendments, and best of all there's a friendly, rotund cat named Bidi who runs the place :-) Perfect for a romantic getaway!
Naama2014-04-14T00:00:00ZWhat a beautiful place! The cottage was charming and clean, and very cozy - just like the picture. We loved our stay!
Erin2016-05-02T00:00:00ZThe Silo Studio cottage was beautiful! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing stay and loved waking up to amazing views. A perfect stay! We visited for our anniversary and loved everything about the Mill: the beautiful location, the high quality finish of the interior, the amazing original features of the wind mind above you as you lay in bed, even the fresh produce on arrival. We want to go back in the winter so we can huddle around the fire and take baths on the top floor overlooking the countryside. A very special location - thanks for letting us stay Clare.
Lucie 2016-08-25T00:00:00ZWords can't describe how wonderful the Old Smock Windmill is. A truly magical and unique stay in an amazing building filled with so history and mixed in with luxury. Clare was an incredible host who gave a warm welcome and left us with some incredible homemade bread, freshly laid eggs, tomatoes and locally grown apple juice. It was really, really hard to leave and this is the best ever Airbnb experience we've had.
Lisa2016-08-12T00:00:00ZClare is an amazing host and the Old Smock Mill is a wonderful place to stay. Clare was quick to respond to all communications and was very helpful and friendly. The property is exactly as photographed; beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, airy, cosy, comfy, and full of wonderful little features (it takes the two nights to find them all!). We were welcomed with stunning flowers, fresh eggs, apple juice, bread, tomatoes, and raspberries, which were all wonderful. We met Clare's husband and mother during our stay and we were made to feel very welcome. We had a birthday tea party whilst we were there, as Clare was kind enough to allow us some family over for a day trip, and it made my birthday very special. We would recommend the mill to anyone who would like to stay in the area. There are fresh towels, robes, soap, and a hairdryer, which is all very much appreciated. There are also sun loungers and chairs. There is also a TV and DVD player, with some DVDs to watch, as well as some books available to borrow. There is a fridge, an oven, washing machine, and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped with pans, cutlery, plates, etc.
Lindsey2016-08-22T00:00:00ZClare's windmill is one of the most unique and wonderful places that I've ever stayed in. From the amazing views to the incredible building itself and the beautiful decor it's a lovely place to spend a few days. The building is so warm and cosy even on cold, windy and wet days. All of the features are fantastic, from the roll top bath to the walk in shower, large comfortable bed, copper sink, cosy stove and huge cast iron radiators. Great walks to the village (passing two fantastic pubs) and a short drive to the beach make it a lovely location. I would love to stay here again.
Ben2017-03-22T00:00:00ZAnother amazing stay at Old Smock to celebrate getting engaged there a year earlier. It's an absolutely perfect place to hole up and get away from the business of life; I can't recommend it highly enough. Can't wait for our next stay!
Paul2015-11-18T00:00:00ZIt was an absolutely fantastic experience in a beautiful, charming windmill. Clare was an incredibly kind and welcoming host. It was the perfect place to be rested and restored. With wonderful views and extremely comfortable accommodation. Will be recommending to friends and hope to come back soon.
Jonathan2016-08-19T00:00:00ZWe loved our weekend stay at Clare's windmill for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. The mill has been beautifully restored and is very comfortable & cosy. Clare is friendly and welcoming and when we arrived, there was homemade bread, eggs and other produce from their garden in the kitchen, which was a lovely touch. There are loads of great places to visit within a half an hour drive including Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Great Dixter, the town of Rye, Camber Sands beach and plenty of great country pubs. Would definitely recommend, especially for couples after a relaxing/leaving getaway.
Mia2016-12-18T00:00:00ZWindmill is an incredible place to go to for a romantic special getaway. It's just as incredible as it looks like on the photos, even so with an amazing new addition of a fireplace in the lounge area. We went for a nice meal at a Three Chimney's pub, which was a 10min taxi drive away (£17 each way), but it was very easy to cook our own meals in the kitchen as well. Everything is totally equipped for the most relaxed holiday: fluffy robes, throws, a big selection of books, CDs and DVDs. Clare is really friendly and was very welcoming and helpful.

伊伦2016-03-17T00:00:00ZOur treehouse stay will be unforgettable!! Kristie clearly cares about her guests experience and all the special details really add up. It's a magical magical place, and you will be so so so thankful you decided to stay here. Such a dream.
olivia2015-05-16T00:00:00ZI cannot wait to go back! From start to finish, the experience was an adventure.
Melissa 2017-03-24T00:00:00ZWe had a simply perfect 3 nights at the treehouse as part of our honeymoon in Hawaii. It was impossibly romantic and just so relaxing and felt really special. Climbing the ladder to our little oasis each night after sightseeing was so fun! We had a little glitch with the hit water and Kristie got it sorted immediately, such an attentive host. We'd recommend it to anyone heading to the Big Island, you won't regret it!
Emma2016-05-04T00:00:00ZIt is really great place to get away from the fast pace of life. The host is considerate and send us the guide book ahead of time. There is free bottles of water, nuts and brownie in the room. In the morning, you will wake up with birds singing around. At night, you could easily fall asleep in quiet environment. It will be a unforgettable experience.
Zhiyun2016-03-11T00:00:00ZWhat an adventure! Staying at Kristie's treehouse was just magical - a perfect day visiting the volcano and then back to our little piece of heaven. The care and details made the stay very comfortable - We spent the evening reading, playing games, and drinking wine. Highly recommend!
Janelle2016-01-27T00:00:00ZGreat place to relax and unwind she did a very nice job with the decorations and furnishings being a Gearhead I like the way she had her Plumbing setup and electrical was impressive
darrell2017-03-21T00:00:00ZEven though our stay lined up with some bad weather the treehouse was perfect! The pictures do not do this place justice. Everything from the swing below to the walk around lanai was so relaxing and picturesque. I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm on the Big Island.

Fantastic visit to Casa Praia.location is beautiful, neri and neia are very helpful and kind.We did have a problem with Portuguese which was totally our fault, but got by with our phrase book! Area is great, but w were told not to walk any where .We are used to walking and felt a bit cut off..but we hired a car, and found some great restaurants.
Jackie2017-04-07T00:00:00ZThe couple who take care of the area are the most wonderful people. Kind, helpful and welcoming. The house has splendid views and is quite isolated. Expect to take the car for everything. Very helpful people in Andrade supermarket and good food in Palmas at Raizes. I wouldn't call it young child friendly.
Alison2017-03-13T00:00:00ZIt was an exceptional experience our stay in the beach house of Anthony's property. It has paradisiac views, a nice private beach and a good service from Deivit, the caseiro. The house is perfect to enjoy good time with friends and family, further else if you are trying to rest in a calm and peaceful place. There are some mini markets, drugstores and restaurants in a close Village. I really don't want to recommend (to keep the house easy for booking and unknown, LOL), but I have to do so, cause it was an amazing stay!
Rafael2013-02-14T00:00:00ZThe stay was perfect in every way. Anthony is very attentive to explain all the questions that may arise before the stay. In the property, the caretakers/'caseiros' are very receptive and friendly people. The house is beautiful, exactly - and even more beautiful, I would say - like the photos. Fully equipped with everything you could need. The parking is very convenient too. I strongly recommend to everyone who want to relax, surrounded by a beautiful architecture and cinematic view. :-)
