We moved to Galveston 4 years ago after raising our children in Sugar Land, and it’s been a great decision. I'm a practicing architect and Tracy is an interior designer and pet portrait artist, so we love all the history, architecture and art scene that this little island provides (you might run into one of Tracy’s Turtles about Town sculptures when your out and about). Having all that situated right along the third coast makes this place a small treasure for us. People say they can feel their blood pressure go down as they approach the causeway bridge to the island, and we agree! We hope you feel the same during your visit.
