Your sunny room overviews Kastanienallee in Prenzlauer Berg with it's chestnuts trees, bohemian buzz and positive vibe. It's 20 sqm, 3,5 m high, equipped with bed (140x200), wardrobes, desk, Internet. Room has a great lighting and gives a cosy, very private space for 2 people.
Our apartment consists of 3 seperate, spaciuos rooms. I live here with my boyfriend and we will be sharing bathroom and kitchen with you. Both entirely equipped and easily fitting four.
The building is situated in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg which makes this spot a perfect starting point. Tram stop (M1, 12) is nearly in front of the door, closest subway (U2 Eberswalderstrasse, U8 Rosethaller Platz) only 3 min walk away. "Party" tram line M10 (connections to Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg) is just around the conrer and departures opposite to Mauer Park. Public transportation takes you to Hackescher Markt, Alexander Platz, Musem Island in 5 min. If you prefer to walk (highly recommended!), you will reach these destinations in 20-30 min.
For some reason the name "Kastenienallee" brings on: WOW! We like to think it's because of it's own charm and unique neighborhood (Kollwitz Platz, Papelallee, Mauerpark), tasty&fresh food, exotic or organic take-away, oldschool cinema (Lichtblick), yoga studios, walking, jogging and biking places. Cool venues, vibrant markets, outstanding boutiques, vinyl shops, green squares, etc. give you a wide range of possibilities how to spend time. Come along and have a taste of it!
And who we are? Just a nice coulpe of easy going, quiet freelancers, busy bees, RESPECTING YOUR PRIVACY. However whenever you need it, we will be always happy to give you advices where to go and what to do in Berlin or simply keep you company.
I am looking forward to your visit!

P.S. Unfortunately our apartment is inappropriate for the children. Thank you for understanding.
Unfortunately both Joanna and Heyo were unwell during our stay but despite this they were as friendly and welcoming as we could've asked for, leaving us a couple of nice notes while we were out so we didn't catch anything.
The room was larger than I expected from the pictures - so light and spacious, very pleasant. The location is also superb - very well-connected on transport, in the nicest area. There are nice cafes and independent shops all around; Prenzlauer Berg feels like a very nice place to live.
Thank you for a lovely trip!
I had a wonderful stay in Joanna's apartment. The room is spacious with tons of natural light, and the location is perfect. There are lots of cute cafes and restaurants nearby, and it's easy to catch public transit to locations throughout the city. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Berlin.
A great place to stay at in Berlin! The location is perfect, the room nice and comfortable and Joanna was more than happy to answer all our questions and help us out in every way needed!
Very nice room! Perfect location! Joanna was there for us when we needed help.
Thanks Joanna, and see you next time in Berlin!
Oh, we were glad we found this room on the last moment, we only booked a week in advance, but Joanna already accepted our request the same day! After this first contact, any further contact went very smooth.
And about the room? Well, there's not very much to say about our room and the flat in general: we got a very spacious and comfy room in a spic-and-span flat where one can use all the facilities (except for the stove and the microwave). But who needs a stove when you're staying in Prenzlauer Berg, a neighbourhood full a cheap (vegan!) eateries?
And if you have a spare moment, try Joanna's lomi lomi nui massage, it's divine!!!
So, my conclusion is: there's really no need to look any further, this is your room for a stay in Berlin!
Joannas place in Prenzlauer Berg is wonderful for YOU!
Joanna is very kind and helpful and you feel comfortable in the apartment. The room is sunny and has a high ceiling. The location is perfect to whatever you like.
We can absolutely recommend the room!!! :)
If we got the chance, this place would be used again.

Really nice room in a fantastic location: right opposite a tram station, in an area full of lovely restaurants and coffee shops for breakfast. It's only 5 minutes on the tram to the nearest subway station. The room is lovely and large and clean and spacious, with two big windows. The bed is incredibly comfortable - firm and just right! Internet works great. Joanna was very helpful explaining how to get to places when I arrived, and was discrete the rest of the two days - I didn't see her again.
The only downside of the room is the sound of the tram which was OK with the windows shut, but might be noisy in summer.
Joannas flat is perfectly situated in Prenzlauer Berg with everything you need when you step out the door. The room is large and comfortable and Joanna is a very friendly and nice person and perfect host. She offered me tea when I arrived quite tired and helped me with every question I had.
I shurely will come back on my next Berlin trip if possible.
Our stay at Joanna's was possibly the best hosting experience we received on our trip. The location of the apartment could not have been better and the accommodations were excellent. We had a few short chats with Joanna and she is a very pleasant person and very willing to help. Next time we're in Berlin we hope to stay with her again.
I enjoyed staying at Joanna's apartment, which is very conveniently situated, clean, spacious and has a warm an welcoming atmosphere. It was nice to have a couple of conversations with Joanna, and receive great recommendations regarding local restaurants and places to stop by for christmas gifts.
If you're a light sleeper, the tramway outside might be a little noisy at times, but I got used to it rather quickly.
