The Space

It gets in AIRBNB using one room of the share house BUIE representing Sapporo.

Of course, since privacy is secured, it can be used with the same feeling as ordinary accommodations.

It is equipped fully with 2 bed desk and heating in the single room, and is comfortable.
Moreover, a toilet and the shower room can also use a washing machine in common use.

Moreover, it can go up also to the roof.
If it rests here, fatigue can be relieved very much.

The stay for one week or more can also use the living and kitchen dining room of share house.

There is no preparation of a bath towel, a shampoo, etc.

Since there is a cafe called COWORKING CAFE 36 in 1F and we are also working usually here, it is possible to carry out various information exchange.

The No. 36 line which are the main roads in Sapporo is faced, and going on foot to the central part is also possible.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • This was my first Airbnb experience so I really didn't know what to expect! I don't really have another experience to compare it to but overall it was an enjoyable stay!

I had some trouble contacting the host on the day of my arrival because my phone didn't work and I had no access to internet but I was able to find the apartment following the instructions that were provided. When I got there I didn't know what to do so I knocked on the door of the common area until someone let me in. The other residents of the home contacted the host for me and the host promptly came to meet me.
I didn't get to speak to him for very long but he was very friendly and told me everything I needed to know for my stay.
The residents are very friendly- even though I didn't really have a chance to interact with them.
The room itself was spacious and there was a heater so I didn't have to worry about being cold! I spent most of my time out anyway so this was really just a place for me to sleep.
I think the only downside to my stay was that I got the room in the basement so it was a little inconvenient to access the shower room (located on the 3rd and 4th floor) but a little exercise never hurt anyone!

The location was really good too! It's about a 5 minute walk to the subway station and from there only 2 stops away from Sapporo station so everything was accessible.
I would definitely recommend this place if you're on a budget and don't mind sharing a space!

  • We stayed 2 nights at BUIE guest house. I'm sorry we were too tired to enjoy time with other guests and Kenji san. It was simple but exactly what we needed : two confortable beds, and a good shower. We hope to come back longer to experience of the cold but amazing Sapporo!

  • I could write half a book about my two week stay in Sapporo and this wonderful shared house, but I will just boil it down to a few sentences, for your and my convenience.
The room was clean, spacious and had a heater (very important since I was there in winter), but to be honest, most of my time I spent up and about or in the living room/common area next to the kitchen, hanging out with all the great and wonderful people staying in the house as well.
Kenji was and most definitely still is a caring and super friendly host on whom you can rely, providing you behave accordingly in return.

Overall I can only endorse and suggest this great and truly affordable place, only about 25 brisk walking minutes from the Sapporo TV tower and even closer to some other cool places (go to Susukino, tasty ramen, nice bars and even some decent clubs).

Thanks again at Kenji and everyone in the shared house for making my stay as memorable as it was.

  • Nice host and nice place, but the bathroom and shower it's outside the room.

  • Kenji's played excellent host. He gave tips on how to get around the city, which bus to take, etc. The living room and kitchen is very cosy and specially warm in Hokkaido's winter. Room was decent, some lights and steps need to be fixed, otherwise all's good.

  • The facade is not the same as quite hard to find. I like the bed and blanket.

  • The place was clean and quite, and people were very nice and helpful. It wasn't luxurious in any way (resembles youth hostels), but can't ask for more for the price. Kenji wasn't there when we checked in, but he arranged his assistant to check us in. We first couldn't find the place (due to the temporary construction nearby) but the assistant came to where we were to pick us up.

  • It is not a host but a guesthouse / hotel. That said, when I arrived (at 23:30 pm) was expected to give me the keys and explain the operation of the guest house.
The room was decent, and there are washing machine, kitchen, common area to meet other residents.
Regarding the wifi, the network was not given the right and the password either, and the more network changes each floor, which is not practical.
in general, I would say I have a good experience thanks to the group of residents who were there when I was there, who were very friendly and sociable.
It is possible to come to the foot of the center if you like to walk, but it is to take the subway, 3 station downtown.
If not anything to say about the hospitality and kindness, it was very good.
