Excellent 30 sqm flat in the heart of Trastevere, meaning to say the heart of Rome. Short distance from Campo de’ Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Vatican Museum and the Tiber.
The recently renewed small flat (studiò) is on the second floor of an ancient building of the XVII century. It is made up of a small dining area, an American kitchen, bathroom with shower, a double bed, plasma Tv, air conditioning and antique etchings on the walls. The very modern and new furniture and the good-quality tapestry characterize this apartment.
You will feel you have chosen the ideal place to visit Rome: you only need a good pair of shoes since everything is walking distance. In the morning you can drink a cappuccino and taste a special cornetto at the bar round the corner in the same building, in the evening you could sit in the open air restaurant of the neighbour building "Da Bruno alla tavernaccia"or in the pizzeria "L'Aristocampo" located 10 m from your flat. No smoking in the flat, please! Wifi 24 h free, aircon. Arrival time from 14 to 20 h, departure before 10 am, you can of course leave your lagguages in the flat.
The Trastevere area consists of a maze of narrow streets that is still one of the city's most authentically Roman neighbourhoods. Literally translated, Trastevere means "across the Tiber", which, of course describes its proximity to the historical centre, just southwest on the other side of the river, and just a ten minute walk away. Trastevere is one of the oldest and typical neighbourhood of the city. The narrow paved streets and allays are plenty of cinemas, cafés and restaurants with tables scattered in the pavement, mostly at Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere and in Viale Trastevere. The churches of Santa Cecilia and San Francesco a Ripa are very remarkable. Cars are not allowed in Lungaretta, nevertheless it is a bit noisy in summer if you sleep with open windows.

tres joli studio fonctionnel au coeur du quartier trastevere,à 10 min de via del corso , super acceuil d'Allessandra . Mille Merci !
Alessandra was great! Although I did not meet her in person, she was always helpful when we called with questions. She also arranged for a taxi to pick us up the morning we left, which was very helpful since we left at 6 AM. The apartment was in the perfect location as well. In addition the place was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint we had was the hot water only lasting approx. 5 minutes before going cold, but it's to be expected with small Italian apartments! We could not have asked for a better stay!
Alessandra was a great host. She waited for us until late the 24th of December. She left us a Panettone as a gift for Christmas. She also speaks french very well! Everything was as described in the apartment. The location in the center of the Trastevere is really good. Every point of interest is within walking distance of the apartment. For everyone who's planning a trip to Roma, I warmly recommend to stay at Alessandra's Studio.
It was fantastic. In the middle-middle of Trastevere. Very clean and comfortable. There was absolutely no problem with getting and staying in contact. We enjoyed our stay so much. Not only 'cos Rome is a wonderful city!
Great location, close to everything (touristic sites, train station, ...) plenty of restaurants, cafes and bar. Busy street, so very noisy at nites and early mornings.
Good condition of the flat, clean and with all amenities.
Great help from Alessandra with the directions and all.
What a fantastic location -- it couldn't be better, and it shouldn't be overlooked. The apartment had everything we needed as a couple for 4 days in Rome. The air conditioning worked well, even though it was incredibly hot during our stay. It's the location that cannot be overlooked -- you will not regret staying in Trastevere! Thank you Alessandra!
Great Apartment in the heart of Trastevere. Perfect for two. We stayed 6 days, walked everywhere from there, Vatican, Piazza del popolo, Fontana di trevi etc....
Watch for pick pockets! My new blackberry Z10 got wings on Campo di Fiori. Literally picked out of my pocket...
The bar just around the corner on your right once you get out of the apartment makes the best espresso and cappuccino. The owner, Andy, one of the nicest person around.
Aleesandra (the owner of the apartment) was very helpful, and we are very happy with our stay.
Tank you once again AJ!
Alessandra's apartment was located in an ideal location in the heart of Trastevere. The apartment is plenty spacious for a studio with a nice kitchen. There is a small water heater and therefore limited hot water, but it refills quickly enough to get two hot showers per day. The area is very busy with night life, but we loved the atmosphere and didn't have any problems with noise.
Alessandra is a great host. Wonderful communication before and after the trip, and she even booked us a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Her house is in a perfect location. Although Trastevere is a very lively area, she has done a great job making sure that the apartment is quiet at night. The apartment is small, but that goes with being in the center of a great neighborhood in Rome. The only 'issue' we found was around there not being a ton of hot water but again this is Rome and I hear this is pretty typical. All that's to say, we loved this place and would recommend it to anyone!
Perfect location. The apartment is a bit small but clean and has all the necessities. Very nice and efficient hosting by Alessandra.
