The Space

El Patio 77 is the first eco-friendly bed and breakfast in Mexico City.

We have renovated in 2009 this grand house from the 19th century to convert it in an eco-friendly B&B. We have only 8 rooms, 3 suites and 5 grand rooms, each one with special decoration from one of the 32 Mexican states.

Our prices include free WiFi access and the delicious mexican breakfast we serve in the morning with fresh fruit juice, a fruit salad, organic coffee or tea and a different mexican breakfast dish every day.

We are only 3 blocks from the metro station SAN COSME (blue line/number 2) which connects you to the Zócalo (main plaza of the City) in 5 to 10 minnutes.
We are walking distance from the Monument to the Revolution (15 minutes), Reforma Avenue (15 minutes), Zona Rosa or Roma (20-30 minutes) or the Museum of Contemporary art El Chopo (10 minutes). You can also take metro or buses to get easily everywhere in this huge City.

The San Rafael neighborhood is quiet and safe and you will experience the real mexican life with markets, little stores and mexican inhabitants.

Interaction with Guests

El patio 77´s team is here to welcome you from 8am until 11pm, if you need anything, we're here to help you.

The Neighborhood

We are in San Rafael neighborhood, a central and safe neighborhood built at the end of the 19th century for the rich who wanted to go out from the city center. Reforma Avenue is only 10 blocks from the B&B and you can reach the main plaza the “Zócalo" by subway in 10 minutes. From the subway station SAN COSME (line 2), which is only 3 blocks from El patio 77, you can go directly to Bellas Artes and the Zócalo.

San Rafael is also a neighborhood of theaters and museums. Near the house, you can find el teatro San Rafael, el teatro Virginia Fábregas, the Experimental Museum « El Eco », the contemporary art museum El Chopo and the National Museum of San Carlos which features an impressive European collection from from the 14th to 20th Century.

Getting Around

The metro is really easy and cheap besides the closest station is a 3 blocks away.

At the time of your confirmation, we'll send you all the information that you need to get home safe and fast.

Other Things to Note

After 11pm we charge a fee of $300 pesos in cash.
