We're happy to offer you a wonderful typical italian old style house! The house goes from the "heart" to the "sky" through four floors. You'll discover what living in the "borgo antico" mean. The house has any comfort for an unforgettable vacation!
We are pleased to offer you a beautiful building with sea view, located in the heart of Bari Vecchia.
Our house is on three levels, has been recently reconstructed respecting the traditions of Puglia and the surrounding area.
Entering the house you will find the living room with a sofa bed, which becomes necessary in two small but comfortable single beds. In this floor there is a small bathroom, ready to go!
Going through a stone staircase, you arrive at the first floor where there is a comfortable bedroom with a double bed and a balcony. Once upstairs you will be greeted in the dining room, where in the attic, there's a fully equipped kitchen. For those who have breath, you need just another flight of stairs and you come to the beautiful terrace overlooking the port of Bari, where you can enjoy yourself during warm summer evenings!
Bed linen and towels are included.
The house is located a few steps from the main tourist attractions and the city center. Bari vecchia impresses with its architectural organization, the tradition and the beauty of the place!
Within walking distance are the most popular ones and meeting places for young people of Bari (at a proper distance to ensure a good nights rest)!
Our apartment is about 20 minutes walk from the central station of Bari and a few minutes from the port. The airport of Bari is well connected to the central station, where the apartment is within easy reach!
Since our family moved to Rome, this is the house where we spend our time when we are in Bari. Living in the old part of the city has allowed us to know and appreciate better and more deeply, the city where we are all born. The view of the sea, the popular life, makes this place unique and enchanting!
** Please feel free to contact us for long stay, we will be happy to agree with you on special offer.
***This is the house we use to stay where we come to Bari. Usually we stay for few days and most of time the house is empty. Therefore since the house has three floors and can host 4 persons, it could happen that someone of our family will stay at the house during your stay if you reserved for two ( of course if you've reserved the whole house it won't happen). Feel free to ask as more informations if you need!
Other Things to Note
Our apartment has towels and sheets.
You will find a hair dryer and a bathroom equipped for every need.
The kitchen is sufficiently equipped for a pleasant stay! You can use and eat everything you find in the kitchen and in the fridge!

There is a belief in the dining room with dishes that belonged to our grandmother. They have a sentimental value and are very important to us, so we will ask you not to open it.
This is the house where we live when our family is located in Bari. Treat it as if it were yours and we will fully agree!

The hosts were very welcoming and kind giving us all the information we needed to explore beautiful Bari and making themselves available at all times. The accommodation was superb. Situated in the heart of the old town the bedroom was big and comfortable. Everything was very clean and the rooftop terrace with views of the adriatic sea was breathtaking. A brilliant place to stay!
Both the flat and the location is perfect, The host, Francesca was very kind and helpful. Check out the photos, you get what you see and even more.
The neighborhood is also fine.
We had a fabulous time at the Earth Sky house - the weather wasn't good and it was so nice to come back to a cozy place, where cooking and eating a meal was a pleasure. Francesca was very helpful as well. If you're staying in Bari, the old town is the place to be and this place is a great spot in the old town.
The house is in a perfect location for exploring the old town, just a few minutes walk from the Basilica and the old city walls. There are lots of nice little restaurants nearby and it's only a 20-25 minute walk to the railway station. The house itself is great - the photographs don't do it justice! - and the hosts were very helpful and gave lots of useful information. We loved sitting out on the rooftop terrace on an evening with a glass of wine! Thank you Serena & Francesca!
Bari is a lovely town and the house is well located in the heart of the oldest part of the town.
The owners were friendly and even left some food out for us on arrival. The terrace is lovely however there is a fair amount of road noise when sleeping in the bedroom. The house was big and as shown in the photos, however it was not that clean and there was a gas leak. The owners called over someone to fix the leak, they tested for leaks using a lighter.
We left the place two days early and moved to a hotel, the owners refunded the last two days and did not offer any compensation.
It was good of them to let us stay in their family home which means a great deal to them.
Dear Dermot, thank you for your feedback. We're always learning from airbnb experiences since we don't run a hotel and it's not our job. We do appreciate your comment and we'll improve our skills to make all the guest much comfortable we can. By the way let us reply to your comment: the house has been cleaned and checked before your arrival, you complained regarding dirt 4 days after your check in ( that's very weird, isn't it?). Moreover you complained regarding a dirty floor that is an ancient one ( the house is located in the oldest part of the city) and what you called "dirt" is a stain that is over there since we bought the house. Unfortunately living in a old house sometimes implies inconveniences. There was not a gas leak but a problem with pipe pressure ( absolutely not dangerous) . We're not judging how they tested it since it's not our job. By the way the problem was verified and fixed as soon you reported to us ( you did at midnight, so the day after). You also complained of a light bulb blown, but we cannot control electricity and how long a bulb will last.We felt really sorry you decided to left two days early and hope it has not prejudiced your stay in Puglia. We refunded you the last two days as a courtesy. We did all our best to make your journey enjoyable and comfortable, but probably our best to you wasn't enough.
Excellent flat - spacious, clean, centrally located, beautiful views, terrific kitchen for cooking
