2.5 hours from Los Angeles, this sweet house is stocked with amenities & surrounded by raw expansive desert. Features many charming details including a vintage wood burning fireplace and a dining room paneled with windows. A perfect rustic getaway.

The space
The house features two bedrooms with two king size beds, a pull-out full size couch that sleeps two, an enclosed patio-style dining room overlooking the desert, a fully renovated kitchen and bath, and an outdoor propane fire pit and jacuzzi. The house is uniquely situated in a very private and remote part of Joshua Tree a 20 minute drive from 29 Palms Highway.

Of note: the last two miles leading up to the house are graded sand. You don't need 4-wheel drive to access (although if you do have it, that's great)--otherwise, just go slow ;)

Also please note: We have an antique stove and a BBQ for cooking. The oven does not work well but the stove top does. There are special notes on how to use the stove in the house manual.

We have a swamp cooler for keeping cool and windows ACs in both of the bedrooms.

For heat we have space heaters that warm the house well plus the wood stove. If you'd like to use the wood stove, please bring wood.
